A cinder of power; Chapter Three: The fall of a city
#3 of A cinder of power
After taking the temple, it's time to plan the next attack, to take the dragon city. However, Spyro has been injured during the battle of the temple. Cynder, not wanting to be a poor queen and offered to heal Spyro. She, however, might just take a bit of pleasure for herself. Even making Spyro a special little promise, that is at least if they are victorious about the dragon city. and Spyro defeat Ignitus in any way possible.
- The fall of a city
Spyro had to admit he felt a little guilty when he looked at each of the guardians, swearing their loyalty to Cynder in front of the ape generals. It was a pure display of dominance and Cynder devoured it. Trough when each of the guardians' eyes fell on Spyro, that annoying pang of guilt trickled into him. His journey had come full circle when the three guardians of the temple bowed in front of Cynder in the same room he was introduced to Ignitus months ago. He couldn't dare to look the guardians in his eyes, in fear of that his resolve would falter.
He was spared many awkward glances by the guardians. Cynder ushered him out, back towards the entrance of the temple, ready to fly back home to the castle. Cynder gave him that gaze that told him exactly what he could expect; Food, sex and perhaps some rest if they got to that.
"Queen, how are you sure that they will not betray you?" Spyro asked, his wings beating down the air to fly at a slow pace. His body was hurting from the fight and the flight made the wounds on his body crack open. Trickling some blood to drip into the fidget evening air.
"I don't, my dear pet, but they can't do much damage now. We control their precious temple. They can warn the city of dragons, sure. But that wouldn't do anything more than the preparations already underway."
"But they can warn Ignitus about me. It would then be hard to capture him for sure." Spyro said, gazing at the green forest below.
"Perhaps we would lose the element of surprise. The only way to be sure that they do what they are supposed to is to fully corrupt them. Corruption wears off. When it does, dragons become deviant. This way, it's their choice and their actions. It's a lot harder to fight yourself." Cynder said with a pleasant hum. "Besides, the element of surprise will work once, and that will not decide a siege."
"Then what decides a siege?" Spyro asked, partially because he was interested in Cynder's thought process, partially because he needed something to take his mind from the guardians during the trip home.
Cynder turned her head to Spyro and gave him a devious little smile. "Oh, my love, the deciding factor in a siege is not the element of surprise. It's the strength of your army, your strategy, and your leadership. I trust in you that you proof to be a resourceful general. I have seen how many of my plans you have thwarted. Besides, we have the ape army at our disposal. We have the advantage in this fight."
Spyro did not speak as they flew over the treetops. A small smile on his face, despite all that he faced, despite that he was battling his old mentor. He could not help but to feel free. Free and drawn to the dragoness flying next to him. He gazed over her dark body, admiring her body and her strength and cunning. Each moment he was more convinced that his actions so far are the right one, even if it pained him to betray the guardians.
"Spyro? Are you alright?" Cynder asked, looking back when Spyro fallen behind.
"Yes, my queen," He spoke and caught up to her. However, in doing so, some of his injuries hurt, and he hissed out in pain.
"You are hurt," Cynder spoke with concern.
Spyro tried to hide the pain in his voice to little effect. "It is nothing," he spoke between gritted teeth.
Cynder ignored his words and circled around to inspect the wound that Spyro had got from his fight. A nasty wound along his left flank, normally hidden from view by his wing. "You need to rest and heal. We can't have you collapsing in the middle of the battle to come. That's an order from your Queen Spyro."
"Thanks, my Queen" Spyro spoke relieved and eased of his composure a bit while they flew over the treetops. Spyro feeling small drips of blood falling down his flank. They landed on the balcony of Cynder's room at her castle. However, when Spyro landed after Cynder, pain shot through his side, and he collapsed from his injury.
Cynder turned around when she heard the growl of pain, only to see Spyro's ungraceful landing and him sliding along the stone. The injury on his flank opened some more and was now dripping blood freely along his dark purple scales. The scent of blood filled her nostrils, while normally it filled her with the excitement of the fight. It now filled her with worry. She rushed inside and got a healing crystal to trace it along his body.
Her touch was delicate, but Spyro still gritted his teeth in pain, now wanting to let her know how much pain he was really in.
"Shh, my love," Cynder spoke softly. "You don't have to be strong for me here, in my room. This is the place you can let your pain and woes out."
She received a pained smile from the dragon. Cynder finished up the cut on the side. However, she could clearly see that Spyro was not free of pain. "This is going to take more time than expected," she poked and pushed her body under Spyro's wing to help him towards the bed. "Why did you not speak of this sooner?"
"I did not wish to appear weak," Spyro answered her.
Cynder hummed slightly, annoyed, and helped him on their bed. "Just tell me where it hurts," she said and dragged the healing crystal over his body.
Spyro at first pointed to the brushes and other injuries that he had sustained. He growled out in pain every time that she touched those spots. However, soon his facial expression softened, and he did not point to any more pained spots. But that did not stop Cynder. She gently traced the healing crystals and massage his scales. Soon she received a gentle draconic purr from the purple dragon.
"Uhm, does my little pet like this?" She hummed softly, "To be cared for by his mistress?"
"Yes, mistress, my queen," Spyro spoke in a soft, blissful tone.
"Well, you did good today, so I think you deserve a reward." She grinned at him. She placed her head between his legs and inhaled his scent. Rich and filled with male pheromones, fertile and ready. It did not take more than a single lick across his vent to coax out his member, and with a few more links, it was standing tall and throbbing.
"Oh my," she spoke with a delightful purr. "This looks to be quite a hard, painful problem."
She pushed the cold crystal against his member, receiving a light gasp from Spyro. "Oh, that doesn't seem to help, well I have something else in mind. I just need somewhere to leave this healing crystal to heal you, but where... Oh I know." She took the healing crystal in her mouth, enjoying the energy it gave her for a moment. Making it nice and wet with her saliva before pushing it against Spyro's tight pucker.
The purple dragon gave a pleasured hiss when his pucker gave way and the cold crystal slipped into his back end until it was inserted half into his tight hole. With a single claw, Cynder kept it there before moving her head to the top of Spyro's member, breathing her hot breath up on it.
"Don't worry me dear pet, I will take good care of you," she rumbled deviously before opening her maw and taking the whole of his cock into her maw with a single, smooth motion. She revelled in the slightly salty taste of his member and the drop of pre that has formed on the top of it. Her tongue curled around his member and massaged it in soft up and down motions. Coaxing more of that delicious pheromone of rich juice out of it.
She loved how Spyro moved under her touch, wriggling in place, claws at the bed that he laid on. Slowly she bobbed her head up and down, pushing his member deeper with each time. Letting the tip of his member push into her oesophagus. Her nose contacted his groin, enveloping her in the scent of the fertile dragon that was her little plaything. His knot grew in her mouth, signalling his impending orgasm. Cynder closed her lips around the knot of her poor pet to fully envelop him in the hot wetness that her maw offers.
"C... Cynder," He whispered panting for air. "I can't hold it".
Cynder did not speak. Instead, she rubbed her effort while looking straight into his eyes with a devious look. Cum for me, my pet.
As if Spyro could hear her thoughts, he erupted into her maw. Cynder was quick to pull his cock from his maw, so his seed coated his tongue and her face with his white, warm spunk. She hummed and revelled in the scent and taste of her pet's cum.
Cynder took her a moment to bathe in the glory of it all before moving again. "And now..." she spoke with a soft hum in her voice. She pushed her slit against his member and rubbed up and down. Letting the purple dragon feel how wet she was. "I am going to ride you." She spoke in a demanding tone.
She angled up and aligned his sensitive member with her slit and pushed it in. growling out in pleasure when the hot dragon-hood penetrated her innermost core. Spyro hissed in a combined pain and pleasure as the sudden penetration was too much for his overstimulated member to handle. He could do naught but to lie there, paw at the bed and be forced on his back as his black mate claimed him for all he was worth. Riding him relentlessly into another overstimulated orgasm. Trough with the healing crystal in her rear and the energy flowing directly towards his member, it stayed hard and ready to go.
"Oh, you are a quick shooter today," Cynder rumbled in a moan. "But still hard... I must remember this trick for next time" She got closer to Spyro and kissed him deeply. Forcing him to moan directly into her mouth while she milked him. When he rode out of his second orgasm, Cynder moved again, riding him again. Causing the dragon below her to groan out. She smirked at how Spyro wormed and clawed around. Both her front claws digging into his chest while she moved with a steady hard pace on his member.
"You are not getting any rest till I say you are my pet," she spoke with a hiss of utter pleasure in her voice. With every thrust of his member, she could feel wetness inside of her. She in the back of her mind, she wondered if, with the amount of mating they did, she would get pregnant outside of her natural heat cycle. She gave a moan of pleasure at the thought, to be ride herself straight into a runt induced heat cycle, get gravid of her purple dragon's eggs. Feeling how she would swell with life as the queen she is. She revelled in the feeling and traced a hand along her stomach.
The sounds and smells from their combined passion and the thought of her getting pregnant were edging her into a steady orgasm. It would not be long before she would coat her pet's member with her clear juices. With a devious grin on her face, she leaned forward again, panting in Spyro's ear hole and speaking with a soft husky voice. "My love, claim my eggs."
Spyro's eyes widened at her words, and moments later, he climaxed for the third time. It was not the same load he shot before, mostly the last he had to give, but the feeling of the throbbing member was the last she needed. She plunged down and took his knot into her slit, climaxing around him and squirting out her pleasure across his belly. She collapsed on top of him, coating her own belly with her love juices. She hummed in the mess they made of each other. Tracing a single claw along his neck.
"All mine, my lovely pet," she panted softly.
Spyro needs a few moments to catch his fevered and pained breath. His member was still painful from the overstimulation and his balls aching from releasing three loads in quick succession. "Did you mean that, Mistress?" He spoke with a whisper of astonishing.
"Mean what, my little plaything?" She answered him, her eyes half slitted from pleasure.
"That I can claim your eggs, mistress. That would mean hatchlings."
"Oh, my lovely purple pet. While you are all mine and I am your mistress, there thing yours to claim. My eggs. Our hatchlings." She spoke and licked his face before drawing into a kiss again. Letting him taste his own seed in her maw. They kissed for a while, breaking the kiss with a trail of saliva and cum between their lips. It broke into small drops when Cynder spoke again.
"I fear that my heat will not come for a while, but if you can rut me enough to induce a heat cycle, you can claim me for a night and be my Master just for one night," she winked at him.
Spyro licked her neck. "That sounds lovely... but my queen, I rather be yours in bed."
"Oh? My little plaything loves to be dominated?" Cynder spoke with a grin. Spyro nodded shyly.
"Then," Cynder continued, "Be prepared for my heat because I will ride you in every way possible without interruptions until I am fat with your eggs."
"Is that a threat or a promise, my queen?"
Cynder only gazed at her love and answered with a simple, "Yes. Now let's get a bath going."
After Spyro's knot deflated to unlock themselves from their position, the two made their way to the bathhouse. It didn't take long for the warm water to arrive through pipes and fill the basin with steaming hot water. The basin was large enough to house four fully grown dragons was illuminated with glowing crystals that were placed under water. Cynder was the first to slip and let the hot water cascade over her scales. Feeling the warmth seep into her scales. Spyro slid in after her and together they floated in the warm water. Letting the scents of lavender and jasmine fill their nostrils and fill his head with tranquillity for the moment.
Cynder observed Spyro's closed eyes and how his worried melted away and a peaceful expression was forming on his face. She admired how the water clung to his scales and had to resist not mounting him yet again. They're on the spot.
Spyro's eyes flicked open for a moment. And he whispered to her. "Like what, my queen?"
Cynder could not help but to feel a shiver down her back from the sound of his voice. Soon their eyes locked, and they kissed. Water sloshing around them. She was here safe with her love, while the hot water sloshed around them. She could feel the sense of comfort and security wash over her she hadn't felt since she hatched from her egg. This was good. This was where they were supposed to be.
Their bath could not last, they soon had business to attend. They broke their kiss. Cynder grinning softly. "I can't wait to get more of you next time," she hummed at him and got out of the bath, drying herself and preparing to speak to the generals. It was impossible for any amount of scrubbing to get rid of the scent of sex that clung to their scales, but the jasmine and lavender helped to hide those scents.
They made their way to the war chamber where the generals were already together and planning the attack on the Dragon city. They looked up when the two dragons entered and first hailed their queen, and then bowed to their general.
Spyro couldn't help to shake that something was off. Some generals acted like they were caught in something they shouldn't know. They seemed uneasy, almost hesitant in their moves.
Cynder gazed for a moment at Spyro, acknowledging his worry with a simple nonverbal nod and a look in her eyes that she knew exactly what he was thinking. Trough she could not grasp what was the problem now. It was like a shadow just looming out of sight, impossible to grasp.
"Generals," Cynder spoke with a commanding voice. "Let me see what you have here?"
One ape spoke and pointed to a map of how the main golden gate of the dragon city would be the fastest way to enter the city but impossible to open. "We need someone on the inside who can open the gates. It would be a suicide mission to send my apes towards this. They will be slaughtered by the dozen."
Spyro interjected two other generals who were just about to speak. "I can do it. I can sneak into the city and open those gates. Leaving them vulnerable in the death of night."
Cynder had to hide the concern in her eyes. "Spyro, I know you are capable; you have showed that at the temple, but I fear this would be too risky. You will be on your own if you are caught."
Spyro looked back with a soft grin. "I know the risks, my Queen, but this would be a sure-fire way to guarantee a successful attack." His voice was filled with determination.
Cynder scratched her head a bit. She looked at the generals and noticed how some were moving a bit into the shadow, as not to be a major role in the planning. She did not like this plan, but had to agree with Spyro that this would be one of the most effective ways to conquer the city.
"Okay," she finally spoke, "I will lead the army from the outside, distracting everyone to the other side of the city to give you more time to complete the task. Then we circle around to enter the gates. When we do that, you Spyro will silence the guns on the wall, make sure we are not shot at. Apes will also scale the walls to aid you in this mission." Cynder spoke with finality in her voice. This was the plan, and the only thing that was left was to iron out the details.
The apes were more useful than she thought for this task, having gathered all the intel about more weak spots in the city they could exploit.
As the meeting ended, Spyro and Cynder locked eyes. Knowing the stakes of the mission. They shared their moment of intimacy among the generals in a single look of their eyes before moving on like nothing happened.
However, what worried Cynder was the knowledge of that something was off. Perhaps they should hasten. After the generals were dismissed, Cynder took Spyro back to their room.
"Spyro, we move tonight," she finally spoke. "There is something going on and I don't like it. I want you to have more time to infiltrate the city.
Spyro nodded, sorrow in his eyes. He knew what must be done, even when it hurt his heart to leave his love alone. Cynder helped him kit out for the mission. A black backpack placed between Spyro's wings, filled with healing crystals, to help him along the way. This would have to do; without his elemental weapons, he would need to claw to his goal.
They shared a long kiss before Spyro made his way out of her room and took to the sky. He had a mission to do.
As the moon shone down up on the city, Spyro glided over the walls like a shadow. His heart racing with anticipation. He had made it this far and slip undetected into the city limits. He could see torches in the distance, signalling the guards who patrolled the city.
He landed on the rooftop of a nearby building and took a moment to catch his breath. The frosty night air filled his adrenaline rushed body. It was almost impossible to clearly thing, but he knew one miss step would mark his discovery. When the coast was clear, he jumped down the buildings and onto the dark streets below.
Spyro took the map of the city out of his backpack to see where he was and what route to take towards the main gate. Slowly, he made his way through the streets. His own footsteps echoing through the empty alleyways, an occasional hoot of an owl in the distance kept his scenes on the edge.
He could see guards patrolling the walls, their eyes scanning the darkness for any intruders, however, all looked outside, and none realised that the intruder was already in the city. Still, it was just one false move that could ruin this entire mission. He turned another corner, avoiding provisions that were stacked high for the incoming war.
There he could see it, the main gate and guards that surrounded it, to guard anyone from coming near it. He could feel the cold on his body when his heart was pounding. He was scared. The sound of his heart was enough to alert the guards. Then he hearts the sounds of footsteps behind him. Spyro turned around to see a dragon coming his way.
"Who is there" The dragon called out from the distance. Spyro froze in his tracks, his heart racing with fear. He turned to see the red glowing eyes of Ignitus looking at him.
"Spyro, what by the ancient's name are you doing here!? And why..." Ignitus looked at the grown purple dragon he had guided for his mission. How could he grow up so fast and why are his scales this colour? What happened?
Spyro hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say. He knew he couldn't lie to Ignitus; he was his mentor and almost a father to him. Did he at least deserve the truth? Maybe he could convince Ignitus to join his side without a fight.
"I am here to open the gate," he finally admitted.
Ignitus looked flabbergasted at Spyro. "Open the gate? But why? The gate keeps us safe, Spyro. What happened to you? I thought you were dead! Lost! Why are you here sneaking around? Where are the other guardians?"
"Ignitus," Spyro's voice cut through the tension between them. Staring at the elder dragon. "I am not lost; I am just different now."
"Different? What are you talking about?" Ignitus spoke, then realised what was going on and fear run down his face. "Oh no. You did not defeat Malefor, did you... How? Why could you betray your own kind?"
"It's not about betraying my kind," Spyro replied, taking a step closer. "Cynder is no longer working for Malefor. His prison collapsed and Cynder rescued me. She gave me more of a choice that I ever done given me!"
Ignitus shook his head and bared his fangs. "Spyro, you are blinded by her. She is consumed by her own power. She wants to control everything. Look at us. Most of the dragons have been murdered by her claws! How could you even consider that?"
"It has you who have been blinded, Ignitus. You have been fighting for so long that you have forgotten a simple thing. The world is changing. Cynder only took lives because she was commanded to do so by Malefor. Now she is free, I am free. We dragons need to adapt to survive, else the whole species will be whipped out."
Ignitus could not believe his ears. Spyro was always headstrong, but he never imagined he would turn like this. "Spyro," He spoke with a sombre voice. "I can't let you continue like this. I must stop you. I don't want to hurt you, but I can't let the darkness win."
Spyro returned the tenderness in Ignitus' voice. For a moment they spoke as equals and their voices filled with sorrows, knowing that was about to go down. The realisation enveloped them with a darkness. "Ignitus, you can't stop me. If I know one thing, it's that I believe in Cynder. I must create a future for our hatchlings."
The two dragons stood silence for a moment; their eyes locked in a tense stare. Ignatius knew now that Spyro's mind was set into a path. He could not follow the purple dragon.
Ignitus pleaded to Spyro for a last time. "Spyro, think, please. Think about what you are doing." His voice was barely more than a whisper.
Spyro's expression softened for a moment before hardening again. "I am sorry Ignitus, I truly am. I don't want to hurt you," Spyro suddenly charged at Ignitus and slammed into him. "But I have to see this through to the end."
Ignitus flew through the alleyway and affected a wall. He stood up, hissing, and charged at Spyro, knowing he might have to kill tonight.
