Chapter 1 - Enter this Earth's Atmosphere

"It's getting late, Will, I'm gonna go get some sleep early tonight."

As the shooting star turns out to be a small meteorite from another planet containing an alien lifeform which lands near a desolate forest near Kitt's house and somehow in some way, the crash landing of the meteorite made no sound or explosion as if its landing was softened or even completely slowed at a point where it did not make a sizeable crater. After the quiet landing, the meteorite breaks open and inside lies a scarlet mass of slime being fully sentient which then crawls out of the hollow meteorite.

"Explosion prevention... too draining... must find sustenance... or cease lifeforce..."

The slime from the meteorite seems to have been weakened due to using its unknown power to slow the fall of the meteor into Earth.

The slime then releases an EM (electromagnetic) wave to scan for living things nearby to feed off of and so happens to detect Kitt's internal EM wave which all living things produce.

With a glow from its eyes, the restored slime dragon pulls out all the books from the bookshelves with an unknown force like telekinesis and rapidly flips through all of the books and at the same time extracting information from them all at light speed.

"Aha! These books contain great knowledge about this world! With the information from these books I can serve master to the fullest! But it seems he is asleep... Everything on this planet needs time for their brain to rest or their body and mind will not function properly so I must wait for my master to awake. The slime mimics the function of sleeping and rests with Kitt on the bed, covering themselves both under the nice thick blanket of the bed.

"Oh! I learned a lot of things about your planet by reading through all your books. I will put them back now."

And once again, the slime dragon's eyes glow and levitate the books back to their original places.

"All right, come downstairs with me and let's have breakfast."

"Yes master!"

Kitt's house is pretty spacious with two floors with the first floor being a quaint living room with a small kitchen and countertop tables and the second floor having a personal bedroom, a guest bedroom usually reserved for his sister, and a bathroom.

"I have some corned beef for breakfast and I can make some fried rice for us."

"I usually take in nutrients from moons like iron and oxygen, but they do not have a taste and when I do digest the rocks that contain them it does not feel fulfilling at all."

"Well lucky for you, our food here is packed with nutrients and deliciousness! I'll cook each of us a plate in no time!"

Kitt rushes to the kitchen with a simple can of corned beef, garlic, and cold rice to fry and starts preparing for their breakfast. While cooking, Kitt makes some small talk with the slime dragon.

"So how did you get here? And how did you choose me to be your master out of the 8 billion other people in the world?"

"I arrived here after many decades of traveling space on a search to find a new home as my planet had been destroyed by a cataclysmic disaster leaving me as the only survivor. And for me choosing you as my master, you were the first one I had approached to feed on and accepted even if it was involuntarily..."

After assimilating the food, the slime dragon does not muster a word, but instead starts to cry gluey tears from their eyes seemingly shocked to the taste of real food for the first time.

"Hey are you alright? Is the food okay?"

The slime dragon looks up to Kitt and suddenly hugs him with his slimy body melting on to Kitt.

"Hey! Say something! And not too rough! You might eat my clothes again."

"It's... It's... It's delicious!"

The slime dragon exclaims while retreating from Kitt's body.

"Hah! I'm glad You found it tasty too. It would be even tastier if onions weren't so expensive."

The slime dragon wipes its gluey tears off of its face by absorbing it with his hands and starts to talk again.

"Please give me more food! Any food! Even your semen! Please!"

"Oh well... I will prepare for a small New Year's party with my friend. Maybe then you can taste even more of my great cooking!"

"Well you will have to wait until tonight when I start preparing."

"A name? Names are for referring to different things from each other as I have read from your books. I do not have a name as my planet would not have any use of a name as we all work together with only one goal and that is to train the most powerful dragon to then lead us into a bright future, but then a nearby star had exploded and destroyed my planet and each of my kind but me."

"Well would you like to have a name? With a name you can be yourself and be different from others."

"If that is what my master recommends then I shall have a name!"

"Alright then! Your name shall be Nova from now on!"

Chapter 3 - It's almost New Year!

"Ahh Nova! Quick! Follow me downstairs. I need to know more about you."

Kitt grabs onto Nova's hand and rushes downstairs to sit down on the living room sofa to have a talk.

After paying the taxi, Will makes his way to Kitt's house and knocks on the door.

"Hello Kitt? It's me, Will! I brought some food and fireworks!"

"Hi Will! It's good to see you again this New Year's Eve!"

"Come on inside and let me help you carry your stuff."
