Part 7

For Foogo

Sallie and Philip, Philip and Sallie. They were supposed to be a couple forever, but all it had taken were a few visits from a boar to start driving the wedge between the two of them. The relationship that they had prized, even married each other for, was almost dying, and Sallie didn’t know how they were going to fix it.

It got worse the next morning when she woke up to find Philip having gone from the bed to the couch, and she could imagine why. She still smelled of the boar, and she doubted that he could handle that very well. He probably didn’t want to be around it, didn’t want to be reminded of the guy that had broken his arm. She could almost sympathize there.

But he raped me.

She had gotten it worse, and she couldn’t get away from the stink. She had to breathe it in, relive it, relive everything with every passing moment. Smell was the sense most tied to memory, and she didn’t know if she’d ever get used to it enough to be able to forget what the boar’s trotters on her hips felt like, or the way that he groped her breasts felt like, his breath smelled like, his cock –

Sallie punched a pillow before forcing herself to sit upright. Her body ached from head to toe, and she knew that was a consequence of being fucked all night long the day before. She needed to get up and do something, remind herself of what she was. Gardening and housework were right out, but exercising? Yes, that felt right. That felt like something she could do, and it would get rid of that greasy feeling left over from the fried chicken dinner that she’d been forced to endure before going to the boar last time.

What time is it?

Glancing at the clock, she saw that it was already past ten in the morning. That in and of itself was strange. She didn’t usually sleep in past nine, and that was if the previous day had been exhausting and she and Philip had enjoyed themselves the night before. The fact that she’d slept an extra hour later than her record, more than three hours later than her usual morning start time, was a little concerning.

Still, it meant that it was plenty late enough to go for a run. She got up from bed and went to her dresser, pulling out a fresh pair of panties and a pair of jogging shorts. She was just in the process of pulling on a sports bra when Philip poked his head around the corner.

“You okay?” he asked.

“Yeah. Fine.”

“Are you –”

“I’m going for a run.”

“…You sure? I thought…what if he…”

“You think that he won’t come here if he wants me?”

Philip shivered. She didn’t know if that meant that he hadn’t thought of that or if he was just afraid of what would happen if she wasn’t there instead. Sallie shook her head, putting her phone in its holder at her belt.

“If he comes by, just call me.”

“You’ll come back?”

“…I’m married to you, aren’t I?”

That should have been something more reassuring than it was, but even though she felt encouraged by the idea of going for a fun, she didn’t want to say more than that. She was still sorting through what she had to do with her husband, what she could get from him, what she could give him. The whole thing had upended what had been a very happy life, and she was forced to consider what she really got out of it.

After the run. After some serotonin.

Philip started to reach out to hug her, but rather than embracing her, he just took her hand and squeezed it. He looked sickly as she glanced back at him, and she sighed under her breath. Yep. He was going to be like this.

“I’ll be back in an hour or two,” she said, giving his hand a squeeze in return. “Working today?”

“Yeah. Gonna…you know…try and get things done.”

“Make money.”

“Will do.”

Getting the bra on and keeping her breasts flat for the run, she finished getting dressed and was out the door shortly after. Her usual running music started playing, and she let herself get lost in the rhythm, beginning the usual three-mile jog around the neighborhood. Hopefully, she’d feel a little more herself afterward.

#

She managed to make it two miles before she had to admit that she needed a break. She didn’t know what had happened, but there was no way of making it three miles this time. Not when she was feeling like this.

Sallie slumped against a park bench at the edge of a shopping plaza, panting for breath and dragging herself onto the wood panels. Despite having done a three-mile run four times a week every week for the past two years, she was struggling today. No, not just struggling, failing.

She’d felt it right at the end of the first mile, feeling her breath coming harder than usual. She thought that maybe it was just a thing about sleeping in and not doing as much warm-ups as she should have, but it should have been easy enough to power through for one day. It turned out that it was anything but.

Pressing one hand to her chest as her heart felt like it was going to burst from her ribs, Sallie looked down at her legs. They were shaking, the muscles burning, and she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to make it the rest of the way home without at least a half-hour break. She didn’t know what had happened to her, but it wasn’t good.

Should call…let him know…

Sallie pulled her phone from her belt, tapping the screen as she puffed for breath. Clearing her throat and swallowing a few times to moisten her throat, she made sure that she wasn’t gasping anymore, and then called. The phone rang twice.

“Hello? Sallie? You okay?”

“Yeah, yeah. Fine.”

“You’re huffing a lot.”

“Just feeling a bit…bit out of shape today. I’m fine. Just wanted to let you know I’m taking a break before making my way home.”

“Thanks for telling me. You sure you’re okay?”

“No boars, if that’s what you’re worried about.”

“I was. Thanks.”

“Yeah. Just gonna rest for a bit, then I’ll be back home.”

“Alright. I…”

That was the moment for the usual ‘I love you,’ but the moment didn’t complete. There was a moment of silence, and then Philip hung up on her. She looked down at the phone, sighed, and put it back.

Can’t blame him, I guess.

She didn’t know if she could have said it back if he’d managed to get it out in the first place. Neither of them was in the right sort of headspace for this. Neither of them was sure where this was going to go.

Just as she was about to get up, something caught her attention. A spicy smell, something thick and heavy, with something saucy just under that meaty, spicy smell. She lifted her nose, unable to help herself, and she breathed it in. One, two, three sniffs, and her mouth was watering more than it had for weeks.

What…what smells so good…

She slowly pulled herself off the bench, following the delicious scent as it wafted through the air. It had to be close by. There was no chance that it was coming from too far a distance, not with it being that strong.

Eventually, she found it. There was a food truck in the middle of the parking lot, and it was selling tacos. Pork tacos, by the smell of it, and spicy ones, with plenty of sauces and creams over the meat. It looked like a very bastardized taco, but at the same time, it made her so hungry to smell it.

I shouldn’t…I broke my diet already…

At the same time, she knew that she deserved something, something tasty, something filling, something of a cheat. She had been forced to eat something that she didn’t want to, forced to do even more things that she hated. She deserved something to treat herself, and she deserved something to take away some of the depression.

I fucked up my run. I don’t need to fuck up more.

But there was always tomorrow, right?

That should not have been a persuasive argument, but it was to her. She got in line behind everyone else, already fishing out her wallet and a couple of bills. By the time that she got to the front of the line, the smell of food had rendered her stomach all but starving, and despite the fact that she had resolved to get only two tacos to keep the food sin to a minimum, she ended up getting a dozen. The cashier looked at her like she was bonkers, too, but he had been more than happy to take her money.

The wait was torture. The smell was worse. She could see the shredded pork being drenched in lard and more, tossed over the grill for a final heating, before being laden with shredded cheese, sour cream, and more. It was nothing but a mess, but at the same time, she wanted it more than she’d wanted any food in a long time.

Finally, her large box of tacos was handed over, and she snagged them with all the eagerness of a dog given a bone. She could barely contain herself as she ran to the far end of the plaza, finding the energy to run that hadn’t been there before, and plopped herself down on another bench. She opened the box, pulled a taco out, and –

“Mmmmmmmmmmm…”

The horrible, nasty, terrible for her food was nonetheless delicious on the palate, and she moaned loudly as she scarfed down the first mouthful of pork, cheese, cream, and onions. There was nothing healthy to it in the slightest. She could taste every little chunk of oil and fat, could feel the salt chunks in the meat, knew that it was not the sort of healthy taco food that she could have had.

And she didn’t care.

Another one followed the first, and a third followed the second. She moaned gleefully with every bite, feeling a hunger that she hadn’t realized was there until just that moment. One bite, two, three, four, five. Soon, half the box was gone, and she was starting to feel bloated, almost aching from it.

Mmmph…I should stop…

The grease from the tacos was running down her lips, over her chin, and she could feel it soaking into her shirt where it had fallen in a mess. The sudden stain wetness made her feel like a glutton, and it stopped her hunger in its tracks. Sallie panted for a moment, looked at her hands, and then looked at the box. Six more tacos waited for her, and she somehow still wanted to eat them despite feeling full to the gills.

How much of a mess am I?

She pulled out her phone again, turning it to the camera function and pointing it at herself. No sooner had she seen her face than she realized that it was worse than she thought.

The cream had splattered all over her chin and down her shirt, looking like a cum trail going from her chin to her chest. Melted cheese? All over her lips. Hot sauce stained her top, looking like someone had soaked her somehow. She could feel the meat grease all over, too, making her skin feel oily and nasty.

Her appetite didn’t quite die, but she was able to throw the box with the remaining tacos into the bin. The waste of food made her sad, but not as sad as looking at herself had done. No matter what comfort the food had given her, it wasn’t worth turning into even more of a slob than that.

Shaking her head, she got back to her feet, only to feel her stomach gurgle at her. It wasn’t happy about the sudden stuffing, and she realized that there was no way that she’d be able to make it take her on a run again. Grumbling under her breath, she sat down, shaking her head. Her rest had just been extended by at least a half hour.

#

When she finally got home, well past the time that she had set herself, she felt bloated and greasier than ever. Her insides felt like she’d stained them with a fat-food-a-thon, and she was sure that she had somehow gained weight. Her belly didn’t bounce, but it didn’t feel like it was as tight a tummy as it had been.

“You okay?” Philip called from the kitchen.

“Yeah, I’m…I think so.”

“You sure?”

“Yeah, I’m just going to take a shower and change.”

And forget that she had been that much of a slob in public, no less. She didn’t need to think about all the people that had passed by and seen her acting like that on a bench. God. What if it had been someone that she knew? Unlikely, but if that got around that she no longer cared…

On the other hand, what would happen if…

She blinked. What if that was something that would turn the boar off? What if he was only fucking her because she was better than the pigs that he could fuck at any other time? What if she was just the human sow that looked sexy? What if she could look bad?

What if she could look downright ugly?

Maybe…maybe…
