Chp 35: Casino
"You all did so good." Seth said, currently petting Sky. "We've got the rest of the day, so how should we celebrate?"
"Oh casino!" Soul shouted.
"Ok, first off, you know way too much for a pokemon. Second, gambling is a scam."
"Casino? Gambling? Explain." Drew said.
"Casinos are these big buildings where people gamble. Gambling is where you wager money for a chance to win more. But you never win." Seth explained.
"Sounds exciting." Dust said.
"No, it's not about the gambling." Soul chimed in. "The casino here has some of the best food in Sinnoh!"
"Alright. If that's what everybody wants." Seth stood up, taking his hands off Sky, much to her displeasure. "So who's in?"
"Us." Dust and Drew said at the same time.
"Me." Soul announced.
"I'll go." Tiff said.
"I'm kinda curious about this place, so I'll come." Sky said last.
"Zip?" Seth asked. The luxray was sitting in a corner.
"No." She said sharply, before going back to cleaning herself.
"Now..." He turned around to find Soul glowing and growing. She stretched her new upright body and one hand ran through her long silver hair and another along her blue silk dress.
"Oh, it's been a while." She groaned.
"Woah! Soul?" Drew asked.
"Yep. Seth's not the only one." She said.
Tiff raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
"I guess we can split up then. It's probably not a good idea to have my team wander around alone. First, we'll all go eat. Then we can decide what to do. Sound like a plan?" There were nods all around.
+++
"UGHHH!" Soul growled, a bit of her more animal nature coming through her voice. "There is way too much food!" They were currently sitting around a large table, enough to seat all six of them. After paying a hefty price, they were allowed in to the massive buffet. There was food from all over the world, prepared fresh. While Soul was having her mental breakdown, Seth went through once with everybody and then himself to get what everybody wanted. By the third round, Soul had gone off on her own. By the time Seth had sat down with his own plate, she returned.
She had a plate that was absolutely full. It was amazing she wasn't spilling things all over the place. "What?!" She asked when she caught Seth staring.
"I suppose. Not like they charge you extra for wasting."
"I'm not wasting nothing. I'm starved."
Idle conversation took over as they all began to eat. Seth mostly stayed silent, careful not to arouse suspicion by speaking too much to his pokemon. Soul however, despite her human guise, had no such concerns.
Drew and Dust had been practicing hard this last week and their location on a busy stretch of road with no capture rules made it easier. The wild pokemon were strong and the trainers were tougher. Otherwise, they were just going about their business. They were considering having some pups once mating season came around.
"You can have pups off season you know." Soul said. "Seth and Sky have an egg." She mentioned.
"Yeah, we just haven't got that lucky. And congratulations." Dust said.
"Thanks. It's taking a while to hatch, but we think that's because it's a hybrid baby." Sky said.
Tiff eventually confided her tales. After her encounter with Seth, she went back to work at the daycare. The rescued pokemon they had freed were returned to their trainers. The daycare took a hit to their reputation, but they were still doing okay. Tiff had taken to dealing with the more aggressive pokemon in the daycare for prep. With the best trainers in Sinnoh using the daycare, she had the cream of the crop to fight. And based on her blush, she got creamed a few times in the process.
One by one, they went for seconds, except for Soul, who was going for thirds.
"Hey Soul, how do you keep your figure when you eat like that?" Dust asked, causing her to stop her manic feeding frenzy.
"Huh? Oh. Let's just say I've been working hard. And all I had to eat was bats." She muttered at the end.
Eventaully, everyone was full, save for Soul, who was going for her fifth round.
"Damn Soul. What did Mewtwo do to you?" Seth said. "If I had known you were this hungry, I'd have fed you."
"I'm fine, just enjoying myself." She put down her fork and belched loudly. "You go on ahead. I'll be here."
"Okay, I guess we'll hit the floor and blow some money."
"Actually, I think I'll stay here too." Dust said.
"Alright then. Let's move out gang."
+++
"So... poker... blackjack... roulette..." Seth said, looking around.
"Pokemon section?" Drew asked, pointing a paw.
Seth followed it to find a sign saying exactly that. "Hmm. Let's go check it out." They followed the directions and ending up in a different area, with very similar machines and tables, except it was filled with pokemon. The one-armed bandits weren't one armed, but one buttoned, with both quadrupeds and bipeds using them. There were machines of all kinds of heights, from nearly a foot tall with a giant screen, to ones that a six-foot-tall human would struggle with, nearly touching the ceiling. There was a lapras at one, slapping the button near the floor with a flipper. At the tables, once again of widely varying sizes, instead of human dealers, there were 'classy' pokemon, like gardevoir and lopunny, dressed in outifts. The only real difference besides the clientele was the complete lack of chairs. There were a few humans there, but not many and most of them were watching their pokemon instead of playing themselves.
They took over one, with Drew going up and experimentally pressing the button. The machine let out an angry beep, with a message flashing on screen. Seth had to run his card first. "All right, you did good, but not break the bank good." He said, scanning it and setting a reasonable amount of money. Drew hit the button again, his eyes going wide as the screen flashed and colors whirled. Pokeball, seven and star, nothing. Drew immediately pressed again. Pokeball, berry, pikachu. A ding sounded out and a single cube fell out of the machine. "Oh, pokeblocks. So that's what they pay out." Seth said.
"Pokeblock?" Drew asked.
"It's candy for pokemon." Seth told him.
"Candy?"
"Oh, right. Just eat it."
Drew leaned down and took the bite sized thing into his mouth. "Mmm, that's good."
"It's nothing but hardened berries and sugar, so yeah."
Drew hit the button again. Then again, and again. After seven losses, Tiff spoke up. "Can I try?" Drew moved, one of his leafy ears twitching as he had a scowl on his face.
Tiff pressed the button, and promptly got nothing. "This is dumb." She muttered.
Sky came over as the typhlosion gave out a smoky puff and turned away. She raised a paw, holding in the air hesitantly for a bit, before pressing down. The wheel spun and made all sorts of noise like usual. Pikachu... pikachu... pikachu. A cacophony of bells sounded out as a large handful of pokeblocks came out of the slot.
"What the fuck?!" Drew shouted. His tail snapped sharply, making a whip crack sound.
"I didn't do anything special..." Sky said shyly, blushing and looking down.
"It's random." Seth said, patting her on the head. He began to gather up the blocks, about 30 in all. "We'll save these for later." He said, offering her one.
She bit into it and smiled. She swallowed and opened her mouth to speak, but a speaker buzzed and a voice came on. "Attention guests of the Lucky Meowth, the Phoxy Magic show will start in five minutes!"
"A magic show?" She said. "Oh, can we go watch?" She asked excitedly.
"Sure. Just let me..." He went up and removed the remaining funds on the machine. "Everybody else in?"
"Eh, why not." Drew shrugged.
"Okay, I've heard about these things." Tiff said.
+++
"What was it you wanted to talk about?" Dust questioned.
"How about tonight we do a boy swap?" Soul suggested.
"Boy swap?" Dust asked in confusion.
"Yeah, you get Seth and I get Drew."
"Get? Like..."
"You know, so you two can fuck." Soul said bluntly, drawing some looks from the nearest table.
"Oh!" Dust gasped and blushed. "I mean... Drew isn't... he doesn't like to share... I wouldn't mind... but..."
"Kay, how about a contest then? Whoever cums first loses."
Dust cleared her throat. "You're really forward..."
"So I've been told. You in?"
+++
The show closed out with a disappearing act, both Phoxy, the delphox with black and white painted fur, and Roy, the tuxedo wearing human, vanishing from the stage. The crowd gave a hearty applause. Even Seth was impressed. Despite the near x-ray vision his aura senses gave him, he had no idea how most of the tricks had been done.
"Wow, I had no idea humans could do that stuff." Drew said.
"They can't. Humans can't do moves. Well most can't." Seth said. "It's all just clever tricks."
"That's exactly what moves are..." Drew muttered.
"We've been here for like an hour. I wonder if Soul is looking for us." Sky said.
"Shit, I forgot all about her. We did say we'd be at the slots..." Seth cursed, looking towards the pileup at the exit. "She can handle herself, but..."
They eventually escaped, returning to the food area, where Soul was still sitting. She was deeply slouched into her chair with a happy glazed look on her face. She was obviously full. Dust was out of her seat, at Soul's side and concerned about the noises and groans the nearly comatose human was making.
"Soul? You okay?" Seth asked as they came over.
"Yeah... no... maybe..." She said quietly.
"Those would be your options." Sky said.
"I just need a nap. And maybe some bathroom time." She let out a loud burp and moved to stand. "Let's go." As she stood, she let out a nauseous groan. "I'm not gonna puke." She said, more to herself than anyone else.
"Come on, let's get you home." Seth came over and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
+++
"Seth, you're back." Daim greeted them. "Mewtwo ordered room service for us. My apologies." She gave a quick bow.
"It's fine. That first battle gave us a ton of money." Seth said as they got settled in. "Speaking of which, for tomorrow..."
"Daim? You're an explorer, right?" Sky asked her while Seth was planning silently.
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Hey Seth, remember that weird glass thing?"
"Huh... oh yeah, let me go find it." He left the living room and went into the bedroom where his pack was. Soul and Dust were in there chatting, with Drew sitting close by. After a bit of rummaging, he discovered it and returned. "Yeah, we found this in Solaceon. Know what it is?"
She reached out and took it from him. "Hmm..." She turned it over and looked at it from all sides. "It seems almost like a piece of a crystal ball but... it's more than that. There's great power in it, or there used to be. Sky, can you feel it too?"
"Kinda. It does feel weird."
"It must be aura then. I am able to use it to sense life energy." Daim explained.
Seth squinted and ticked the switch in his head. As his aura sight kicked in, he could see the blue glow of Daim's paw, but in it was a bright black spot. Things that weren't alive usually were dull and nearly transparent. But this thing completely blocked out her paw. "The heck... It's not... alive? Is it?" Seth asked he poked a finger at the glassy surface.
"You can see aura? Well, I suppose you are half lucario." Daim said. "No, it is most certainly not alive, but it radiates with the power of life. If this piece is this strong... even while broken... I can only imagine what the original was."
"WHERE DID YOU GET THIS!?" Mewtro demanded out of nowhere.
Seth flinched and jumped back as her paw darted forward and grabbed the chunk from Daim's hand. He had never heard her shout or have that much emotion in her voice.
"I got it in the Solaceon town ruins. Some unown gave it to me."
"The messengers. Come." She reached out and grabbed him.
+++
"What... where..." Seth muttered. He was now in a large dark room. Mewtwo was standing next to him.
She raised her paw high and snapped her fingers, a bright flash extending out and filling the room with light. They were in a ruin, rubble all over the place. A series of statues lined the walls and they were standing in the center on a raised triangle. In this triangle was a series of intricate markings.
"This is Sinjoh ruins. It was created to communicate with Arceus." Mewtwo explained.
"So why did you take me here?" Before she could answer, a pulsing buzz filled his ears. From the roof and walls a massive number of letter shaped pokemon emerged, swirling in a near storm around the pair.
"Arceus is real." Mewtwo said. "He has three artifacts that dwell in this world. The Azure Flute, which can open a portal to His world. The Divine Plate, an object that gives Arceus the ability to enter this world. And the Space Orb, which creates a connection to Him."
"Hold up, how do you know all this?!" Seth demanded.
"Them." Mewtwo pointed at the unown. The buzzing intensified when she did. "The unown share a connection to all legendary pokemon. As a clone of one, I do as well. The artifacts are lost. No knowledge of them exists, even with the unown. But that shard you hold... it is a piece of the Space Orb, I have no doubt." She handed it over to Seth. The moment it touched his skin, the unown went ballistic.
They began to close in, swarming around Seth. He cried out as the noises they made grew to immense volume, causing him to fall to his knees and cover his ears.
"What is wrong?" Mewtwo asked, but he could not hear her.
He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here. He is here.
Chosen. Stark. Terminus.
The Forge. The Protector. The other two keys.
Take this, with His blessing.
All at once, the noise stopped and the unown flew away. Seth was left curled on the ground, his head and heart pounding and tears wetting his face.
"Are you alright?" Mewtwo asked, actually sounding concerned.
"I... I think." He was breathing hard as he stood up. "My head feels like it just got raped." He muttered.
"I'm sorry. I just thought we would get answers. I never expected all... that." She seemed genuinely concerned, instead of the usual brick wall feeling she gave off.
Seth looked down to find a large amount of big glass shards at his feet, all just like the one he had dropped. "I guess we should take these."
"Agreed. Allow me to return us."
+++
"Hey Seth! Come're." Soul called from the bedroom. A bit later she came out to investigate. "Where'd Seth go?"
"I have no idea. Mewtwo freaked out and teleported him away." Sky told her.
"Dammit, fuckin' bitch always ruins my-" Mewtwo and Seth suddenly reappeared. "Hey! Seth! Follow me!" Soul said happily, her tail wagging.
"Okay... Here, Sky, see if you can figure these out." He said, dumping the shards on the table before following Soul.
"Wait, what happened?" Sky asked, but Soul slammed the door shut the moment Seth stepped into the bedroom.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I think you know~" She purred, hopping onto the right side of the bed. Her tail shot up right away as she waved her rear at him.
"Uhhh..." He muttered, pointing at Drew and Dust on the other half of the bed.
"So what? You shy? Just get to work~" She reached back with a forepaw to spread her folds.
"Hey Drew? I need your help with something." Dust said, blushing faintly.
"Huh?" He said, distracted by what Soul was doing. "Yeah, what is it?"
She opened her mouth and her blush deepened. Instead of saying anything she turned away and got into a similar position as Soul.
"Is now really a good time?" He asked, looking nervously over at Seth. Seth looked back at him before turning to Soul.
"Soul, why did you drag poor Dust into your deviancy?"
"I didn't do nuthin'." She huffed. "She agreed all on her own."
"No coercion?" Seth asked. Dust shook her head.
"Yeah, see? What kind of monster do you think I am?"
"A sexy one." Seth grumbled as he got onto his knees on the bed. He brushed her paw aside and rubbed a thumb over her cunny. "Care to fill us in on your plan?"
"An endurance contest, last one standing wins." She didn't even stutter when he slipped a finger inside her slicked passage. Her lust caused him to begin growing the usual blue fur.
"Drew? You're welcome to leave if you want. I can handle her." Seth motioned his head toward Soul, who was grinding back on his paw.
He looked dazed for a moment, before looking to Dust.
"It might be fun." She nearly whispered, covering her face with her tassels.
"Alright, for you." He immediately moved forwards and mounted her, causing a light gasp as he took to rubbing her rear with his sheath.
"Guess that's our cue to get started." Seth said. He removed his paw from her slit, pausing to lick off the sweet dew before getting into position. He was already showing, so he wasted no time in thrusting into her.
"Ho, fuck!" Soul called, letting out an exaggerated moan. "That never gets old."
Dust let out a much quieter one when Drew's member hit home and slipped inside. He thrust much more hastily than Seth, but not the blind rutting fury of an animal. A slippery squishing sound began to come from their hips. Dust might have been quiet, but her pussy spoke for itself. Soul's nether regions were just as vocal, but her mouth was too. Seth had no doubt she was playing it up. Who that was for however, he did not know.
The slapping sounds from the two eon grew as Drew's knot did. Only moments later, and the pair tied. Drew let out an unrestrained howl as a powerful climax overtook him.
"Ha! We win!" Soul cheered. The bedroom door suddenly burst open.
"Seth! Daim and Mewtwo need to talk to you. And Soul... I need to talk with you about locking me out." Sky said, obviously angry at being left out.
"Sorry Soul." Seth said, pulling out of her. "With what just happened, this is important."
"More important than me?" She whined.
"No... maybe Sky can help you out." He climbed off the bed and went towards the door, passing by Sky out into the living room. There Daim and Mewtwo were looking at the table. There was a clear glass orb lying on it.
"Oh my..." Daim said upon seeing him, covering her eyes." Mewtwo simply stared, eyes obviously glued to his junk.
"What is it?" He asked, already eyeing the orb.
"I uh... wow... So Mewtwo thinks that you are somehow related to this thing." Daim explained, looking away and blushing. "We assembled the pieces. They responded to aura and fused together. But that is all. Nothing else works."
Seth came over and pressed his paw into it. Suddenly, the interior burst into color. The interior turned black, while a bright light emitted from the center, refracting into different colors as it got further away. Seth made a noise of surprise and pulled away. Once his paw left it, it returned to its plain clear appearance.
"Wha..." Daim reached out and touched it, with no results. "What on earth was that?"
"Something powerful. That only responds to Seth." Mewtwo closed her eyes and crossed her arms. "Keep it with you. It may have an important purpose."
"Right." He picked it up again, it flaring to life as he did. "For now, I've got an angry absol to satisfy."
