Chapter 4

For better or for worse.

As the crowd still cheering for Jade and Storm as they were still in there embrace "Well this is a good start but I can't believe we can't mate for the next three days", Jade told her mate while she put a finger on his nose.

"Well it could be worse", Storm replied smiling at her.

"How so honey", Jade asked staring into his eyes

"Well we might have had to go a week without mating", he joked with her as Taomon looked around the crowd.

"We have to get this town decorated for the there ceremony so everyone has to help and I mean everyone that includes myself", she spoke out loud as Jade looked at her mother her eyes trying to ask what about us as Sam glanced over at Jade.

"Errr Taomon what about the four of us don't you think that Storm, Jade, Blaze and myself need to work on our parts for there life mate ceremony", Sam tells the robed digimon looking quickly at Jade as she had a smile on her face as Jade smiled back at her.

"Your right you four have no idea what's involved in the ceremony so you better get yourself ready then", Taomon said as she turned on the spot and started to walk back into the her house followed by Sam and Blaze and lastly Jade and Storm both receiving a huge round of applauses and cheers from the town's people as they headed into her mothers house.

"That was amazing Storm everyone was so excited to hear the news about us", Jade almost shrilled in delight as Storm started to laugh at his mates excitement.

As they re-entered the house they saw Sam and Blaze sitting in opposites sides of the room with Taomon standing in between them.

"Mother what is this all about ?", Jade asked looking to both sides of the room the back at her mother "that is a good question my child" Taomon started to explain.

"You and your mate are going to have to stay in separate places for the next three day while you both prepare for your wedding so Storm you will be staying with Blaze in his house across town while Sam and yourself will stay here with me", Taomon told the group as Storm and Jade looked at each other both lost for words at what they were just told as Jade and Storm embraced each other.

"Well this looks like I'll see you in three days time my sexy vixen", Storm said as a single tear rolled down his face.

"This isn't fair why can't we stay together for a few more days", Jade said as she started to cry as tears rolled down her cheeks leaving wet streaks in her fur as they broke from there hug.

"My child", Taomon said as she walked over to Jade as she placed her paws on Jade's shoulders.

"I know it upsetting now but you two will be together for the rest of your life's all you have to do is last three days, I know it's hard to not see the one you love but it's apart of the ceremony", she spoke as she tried to comfort Jade as Blaze got up from the floor as he headed over to the black Renamon placing a paw on his shoulder as he started to tell Storm something.

"This means that you will have to stay inside of my house for the next three days as we get you ready for your big day", all Storm did was nod in understanding as Storm and Blaze started to walk to the door away just before they got near Storm turned around to face Jade looking into her loving tear soaked eyes he spoke softly.

"Come on now there's no need for tears, come here and let me dry your eyes", he said as Jade slowly walked over to Storm her head hung low not wanting her mate seeing her cry as he opened his arms letting her walk right into them.

"There you any better now your in my arms?", he asked quietly as she nodded as he stroked the side of her face with his black paw drying her teary eyes as he placed a kiss on her nose as she responded to her mate.

"I know your only across the square from each other but we haven't been apart from each other since we first became mates", still looking into each others eyes Jade could see surprise in Storm's eyes.

"I didn't know you felt that strongly about us but if it makes you feel better I don't want to be with out you either, but I never thought it would be this quick that we have to stay away from each other but what's three days when once there done we will be together for the rest of our life's my love", he whispered into her ear as tears started to form in his eyes.

"My turn to dry your eyes now", she giggled as she still sniffed from crying as Blaze walked over behind Storm.

"We better go cause as soon as we go the sooner the time will pass", Blaze told Storm as he placed a yellow paw on his black shoulder as he looked over his shoulder storm said.

"Give me two minuets please Blaze", Blaze could see that he wanted a few more moments with his mate.

"Ok I wait outside for you Storm", Blaze told him as he turned and walked out the door.

"Well is this a good bye then", Jade asked.

"No my love it's just see you in a few days so I want you to be strong for me", his voice was reassuring to her as Jade nodded her head as they kissed for one last time for a few moments.

"Well I better be going Blaze is waiting for me", Storm spoke softly to Jade.

"I know anyway three days are easily done", Jade said to him as she let go slowly walking backwards out of the house just smiling at Jade until he took a step out side and forgetting about the steps he fell backwards to the ground.

"Whoa, have to watch out that first step it's a killer", Storm spoke looking at Blaze who was laughing at the sight he just watched.

"You ok Storm?", Blaze asked as Jade ran to the doorway and looking down at Storm sitting on his butt with his tail in between his open legs in the dirt she started to laugh as well.

"Yeah I'm fine thanks Blaze", he answered getting a helping paw up from Blaze as Jade walked back in her mother's house as the door closed Storm heard Jade break down in tears knowing she can't see her mate who she loves for three day which felt like an eternality to her.

As Storm and Blaze head off the Blaze's house they start to talk "you truly love Jade don't you", looking at Storm as he spoke.

"Blaze I love Jade with all of my heart I would die for her", Storm told him as he asked.

"How did you managed to be without Sam seven months ago when you went off for a week?", Blaze looked shocked at the question he had just been asked.

"Well from my point of view I was away for three months anyway how did you know about that?", he asked sounding abit confused as he spoke to Storm.

"Well Sam told me that you had to go into the digital world to see someone so I invited Sam to stay with me as a friend, she stayed in my guest room so nothing happened", he told Blaze as they got up to his front door.

"I trust Sam so I know nothing would have happened" he told him as they entered blaze's house as Blaze spoke out loud.

"Welcome to our home for the next three days your room is just to the left".

He greeted Storm into his house as he pointed to the room Storm will be sleeping in "and this is my room", he told Storm as he walked over to the door on the right.

"So when do we start the preparations for the ceremony Blaze?", Storm asked as he looked at the yellow digimon from the door way.

"We will start them this afternoon so just relax for a bit before all the hard works starts", Blaze explains.

"I just hope Jade is going to be ok she was rather upset when we were told that we won't be seeing each other for the next few days", Storm said soulfully.

"Have you two never been apart since you became mates?", Blaze asks.

"No this is our first time for being split up like this Jade is probably crying her eyes out right about now where she misses me", Storm tells Blaze as soon as he finishes he asks Blaze something.

"Who is the Renamon in the fountain blaze", taken back a bit from the question.

"He was like you a black Renamon a great warrior and protector of the town, the stories go that he left this town three hundred years ago to find his true destiny and was never seen again, some say he's still out there waiting for the right time to return and others say he was taken by the void as for me I'm not sure why did you ask anyway", Blaze tells the black Renamon.

"It's just that all the Renamon here kept watching me when we got into town and I didn't understand why they were doing it till now anyway", Storm told Blaze as he spoke up.

"They must have thought that you were the same black Renamon", he told Storm.

"But I'm not that one am I", he answered.

"Well you got Jade as your mate and you have your life mate ceremony in three days I think you should concentrate on that, then let this black Renamon from the past bother you Storm", Blaze explained trying to change the subject.

"You know what Blaze, your right I need to focus on getting ready, shall we just sit down in the lounge so we can get ready for Jade's and my ceremony", Storm asked gesturing towards the room with cushions on the floor looking at Blaze as he nodded in agreement they spent the evening talking about there pasts but something didn't feel right to Storm when they talked about the events seven months ago they stayed up till the early hours of the morning before both retiring to there beds .

Meanwhile at the same time back in Taomon's house.

Jade walking away from the door as it closed taking a few steps forward then falling onto her legs as she broke down in tears Sam and Tao both walked over to her both kneeling beside her trying to comfort her.

"There there Jade there's no need to cry it's going to be alright", Sam told her as she put her arm around Jade's shoulders as she pulled her into a comforting hug tears still running down either side of Jade's furry face leaving gleaming trails from her eyes as she put her head into Sam's chest.

"It's not fair I want to be with him" she sobbed into her chest as Taomon speaks softly.

"And you will my child but you have to wait three days that's all", Jade's teary eyes look at her mother.

"But why three days, why can't I see him for three days" she sobbed as Taomon next to Jade and Sam placing a paw on her daughter's face.

"It's a side effect of the trial stone after the first day if you two come in contact you will both lose your powers", Tao explained to her trying to smile at jade.

"So that's the reason why you sent Storm and Blaze over to Blaze's house and why I'm still here with you two", Sam guessed what happened.

"Yes that is why I had to send both Blaze and Storm away because everyone inside this house was effected by the energy's of the stone but the energy can only reach within these walls so we were all affected by it", Taomon explained to both of them as Jade looked up at her mother her eyes looking sore and puffy from all her tears.

"It's just that I haven't been away from my mates side since we became a couple mother and that's the reason why I'm so upset", Jade sniffed as she spoke wiping her eyes.

"Aah that explains the reason for all your tears my sweet child", Taomon's voice sounded soft as her words comforted Jade.

"Well we don't have time to sit around and cry we need to get you ready for your wedding Jade", Sam said happily slowly standing up giving her hand to Jade as she took it in her paw as Sam helped Jade to her hind paws as they both helped Taomon to her paws.

"Well it looks like a girls weekend in, makeover time and then you'll see Jade the time will fly past", Sam said excitedly with a huge smile beaming on her face as she wiped the last few tears on Jade's face with her hand.

"Come on Jade give us a smile please", Sam begged the young Renamon as she slowly started to smile at Sam.

"That's my girl", Sam said as she gave Jade a light hug.

"So how do we get Jade prepared for her ceremony then Taomon?", Sam asked out loud.

"Well the first thing is that Jade needs he fur groomed to make her look beautiful but that could be a hard task as she is already beautiful, but we want you to look stunning for your mate and don't think you're the only one going through this as Storm is going to have to do the same thing as well for you", Taomon tells them both as Sam walks over to Jade.

"You sure you're going to be ok Jade", Sam asked her voice sounding full of concern for the young female digimon.

"Yeah I'm fine Sam, I just want to go to lay down for a while", Jade yawned.

As she starts to head to her room as she calls over her shoulder "Night mother, night Sam see you two in the morning".

As both Sam and Tao called back "night Jade".

As Taomon walks over to one of the larger cushions she slowly descends on to it getting herself comfortable looking at Sam as she made a gesture for Sam to sit next to her, as Sam sits down next to her Taomon starts to speak "I sense that you have questions about your mate Sam, about something that happened seven years ago", she looked at Sam as her face show shock.

"How how did you know what I was going to ask you about that Tao", Sam stuttered looking at the robed digimon.

"I will tell you what you want to know so ask me anything", Taomon told Sam as she looked at her smiling

"Ok then, can you tell me why my mate was called to the digital world seven years ago and why dose it work out that Jade was born about two and a half months after he came back to me?", Sam spoke coldly to the Taomon.

"I see", she started to speak.

"Well the reason your mate was summoned to the digital world was because I had just lost my mate in a fight against one of the dark masters, I called him to me as he is one of my oldest and closest friends from this town I needed someone to be with after the lose of my mate", Sam interrupted.

"You mean you and Blaze mated because you lost your mate so you took mine", Sam shouted at Taomon .

"No I was already carrying my child before my mate was taken from me and all I wanted from your mate was someone to stay with me before my child was born that's why I called for your mate and nothing more, I love him this is true but only as a friend", Taomon broke into tears as she finished telling Sam what happened.

"I'm so sorry Taomon I never knew Blaze never told me", Sam said sympathetic as tears start to well up in her eyes as she got up and walked next to sobbing Taomon putting her arms around her.

"I asked Blaze not to tell anyone about what happened between us over those three months", Taomon sobbed as she was drying her big blue eyes looking at Sam.

"Don't worry Taomon I won't tell Jade or Storm about Jade's father's fate", she told her softly as Taomon placed a paw on Sam's shoulder as she replied softly.

"Thank you now I think we should head off to bed as well it is quite late", as Sam helped her up to her hind paws as they walked out of the room towards there bedrooms.

As Sam walks past Jade's bedroom her door opened as Jade's furry face poked though the gap "Sam can I talk with you please", Jade asked her eyes still puffy from earlier on.

"Sure Jade", Sam said happily as she followed Jade into her room as Jade closed her door behind Sam.

"So what the matter Jade?", Sam asked sounding very concerned about her friend.

"Do you believe what my mother told us about the energy left from the trial stone?", Jade asked Sam looking right in her eyes.

"Unfortunately Jade I do believe what your mother told us that's why Blaze went back to his house with Storm", Sam spoke in a caring tone.

"You really miss Storm don't you", Sam asked as Jade just nodded as Sam continued to speak.

"I know how you feel Jade I really miss Blaze as well", she smiled weakly towards Jade who smiled back at Sam just before she asked.

"Sam could you spend the night in here with me please?", Sam thought about Jade's request for a few moments before she gave Jade her answer.

"You know what Jade I would like to spend the night in here with you", Sam gratefully told Jade the next moment Jade spoke out loud excitedly.

"Yay we can spend the night talking about our mates and what we're going to do for my ceremony in a few days time", as Jade ran over to Sam as she took sam's hands in her paws jumping on the spot with excitement.

"Jade can I ask how old are you ?", Sam asks looking a little confused at the question as Jade answered it.

"I should be six and a half if I stayed here but since I went to your world so I'm only four and a half years old when I came to your world, why did you want to know that Sam?", Jade pondered out loud.

"So you were born six months after your father passed away", sam said out loud.

"Well I guess, why have I done anything wrong Sam?", Jade asks looking worried about what she had just said looking at Sam with fear in her eyes.

"No Jade you haven't done anything wrong so don't worry yourself I was just wondering how old you were that's all", Sam spoke making her voice sound sincere with a smile on her face as Sam thought to herself.

"Could Blaze be lying to me about what happened?".

"Just one more question Jade, where am I going to sleep tonight?", Sam asks as she scans the room only seeing that there was a bed by the wall big enough to fit two digimon, a stool next to a desk with a collection of gem stones of different colours as she continues to speak.

"As there seems to be only one bed in here", as Jade walked over to Sam and took Sam's hand in her paw.

"Well I hoped that you wouldn't mind sleeping in the same bed as me so I don't feel so lonely cause I haven't slept on my own since I first met Storm", she told Sam calmly looking at Sam.

"I know how you feel Jade I have only been in bed with Blaze so I was going to find it difficult to get to sleep but if your asking me to sleep with you for the next few nights then I would like that", Sam said with a smile beaming on her face.

"Just two friends talking about there mates all night", Jade giggled as she spoke to Sam letting go of her hand as she started to walk towards the door.

"Jade I just need to get my nightgown from my room so I'll be back in a few minuets", Sam told Jade as she opened the door and walked out after a few minuets she returned in a white nightgown her blond hair tied into a ponytail down her back.

"See I told you I be a few back" Sam smiled at Jade looking at her watch.

"Well it's late I think we should head of to bed Jade", Sam yawned as she walked over to the bed, lifting the cover and climbing inside.

"Well I better join you in there now Sam", Jade giggled as she walked over to the bed climbing into the bed as she rubbed against Sam's barely covered body her soft fur gently pressing against Sam's skin.

"Jade how comes your fur feels softer then Blaze's fur?", asks sam.

"Well Sam I use conditioner on my fur when I shower", Jade giggles as she gets into the bed next to her human friend both enjoying the warmth there bodies were giving off next to each other as both females started to fall in to a deep sleep.

"Night Jade", Sam yawns.

"Night Sam" Jade mumbles as she puts one of her arms over Sam's side as they fell asleep in a light embrace.

The next morning Taomon woke up at sunrise she rubbed her eyes as she took a deep breath in slowly waking up as she got out of her bed feeling the warmth from the sun on her fur covered slender body she moved her paws slowly over her flat stomach up towards her breasts as she finally stretches her arms upward walking over to a new robe that was hung out for her she puts it on with ease, after she is now fully dressed she head out of her room looking out onto the town where she see Storm standing on the side of the fountain.

"What is he up to?", Taomon asked herself as she continued to walk on she arrived at Jade's room slightly opening the door to check on her daughter to her surprise finding not only Jade but also Sam in Jade's bed huddled together front to back in the bed.

Taomon could see that Jade was laying with her chest on Sam's back while her tail was hung over Sam's legs to keep them warm laughing to herself Taomon spoke.

"Morning sleepy head or should I say heads", she joked with a quite laugh as Jade and Sam start to stir from the nights sleep as Sam woke up first feeling a set of furry arms wrapped around her then she saw Taomon standing in the door way.

"Good morning Taomon", Sam said almost in a whisper so not to wake Jade.

"I can explain why I'm in bed with Jade" as she continued whispering as Jade finally started to wake she mumbled.

"Cause I asked her to stay with me over night where I miss Storm".

Taomon just smiled at her daughter and Sam "well we have a lot to do today for your ceremony tomorrow so you need to get yourself ready", she told her happily as she walk to the window and opened the curtains causing Jade to moan in protest.

"Ten more minuets mom", she grumbled as she pulled the bed covers over her head trying to block out the sunlight making Sam laugh the next thing Sam knew was she was being pulled under the covers by Jade, Taomon now laughing at the sight of a human disappearing so fast under a bed cover as she heard Sam scream with laughter where Jade was tickling her with her paws as they both heard Jade laugh.

"This will teach you to wake me up at the crack of sun rise", as she continued with her tickling of her friend.

Wiping tears of laughter from her eyes Taomon spoke out a little bit louder.

"Breakfast well be served in about half an hour you two", still laughing as the sight now as the covers were thrown off the bed seeing a Renamon relentlessly tickling her human friend she started to walk out the door still giggling when she heard Jade's voice call out from under the covers.

"Ok mom we'll be there I just need to finish this first", as Jade finished ticking Sam after five minuets.

"Shall we head down for something to eat Jade?", Sam asked still giggling after her torment from Jade as they got out of the bed.

"Then we can start getting ready for tomorrow wait WHAT did my mother say my ceremony is tomorrow", Jade shouted with excitement at the fact that she will see Storm in a days time as they went down to the kitchen as they spent the rest of the day getting Jade ready for her ceremony the following afternoon as night fall Jade and Sam slept in there own rooms this time as Jade had been pampered by both her mother and Sam all day long.

Back at Blaze's house on the same day still in the middle of the night.

Storm found it hard to stay asleep as he missed the feeling of his mate laying next to him her fur pressing against him as he was tossing and turning in the bed.

"Aww man I can't sleep without Jade beside me", he said to himself looking out of his bedroom window as the moonlight lit the room all around him shining on a table and chair and the bed he was on.

"I need to keep my mind off thinking about Jade otherwise I'm not getting any sleep tonight", as he continued talking to himself he didn't see the bedroom door open as Blaze put his head around the door.

"You can't sleep either Storm?", Blaze asked the black digimon as he sat up in the bed the moonlight highlighting his face and body.

"Nope I can't stop thinking about Jade", Storm tells Blaze.

"And you Blaze?", Storm asks his host.

"The same Storm I really Sam, I wonder what those three are up to over there anyway", Blaze replied sighing.

Blaze looked at Storm he could see that he was sweating heavily as he sat up in the bed.

"Storm are you feeling alright?", Blaze asked Storm now looking confused at what Blaze had just asked him.

"Yeah I feel fine Blaze", he replied.

"why did you ask anyway?", Storm asked Blaze.

"Well your sweating very badly I just thought that you were unwell", Blaze explained as Storm spoke again.

"Well I know you've only been a Renamon for a day or so right", looking at Storm as he finished talking

"Right but what's your point Blaze", Storm nodding as he spoke.

"Well you don't know how to use your attacks yet so how about I teach you cause we both can't sleep and I think you would enjoy yourself learning how to fight", Blaze smiling as he responded as Storm got out of the bed and walked towards Blaze.

"Well I guess we have a few hours before sun rise", Blaze spoke as he looked out through the window.

"Well what are we waiting for an invitation or something", Storm joked making both male's laugh as the teleported out of the house to the place Blaze knew from his childhood both reappearing on the ground standing a few feet away from each other in a round opening with trees all around with four or five different sized rocks all missing pieces taken out by something or someone.

"Well I see this place was well used when someone was younger", Storm callout as he looked at rocks with cuts and chunks taken out of them by different attacks as Blaze walked over to him.

"Yep this is where I learned all my skills and powers when I was about Jade's age and so now it's my turn to teach you", he placed his paw on Storm's shoulder as he spoke.

"Right I think we should get started", Blaze told Storm as he was still looking around the area.

"Yeah right so what's first?", Storm asked.

"Diamond Storm", Blaze told him excitedly.

"I've see Jade do that one before if I remember she jumps into the air and she shouts Diamond Storm as she attacks", he tells Blaze as he starts to speak.

"Well it's your turn to try it now Storm", Blaze finished talking Storm nodded his head just before he started to run then jump into the air as his silhouette against the bright full moon as he shouts.

"Diamond Storm", but nothing happened he thought to himself what's going on as he shouts again.

"Diamond Storm", he starts to fall towards the ground landing next to Blaze his knees bent to cushion the blow from landing as he slowly stood to his full height.

"Nothing happened Blaze, what the hell did I do wrong?", Storm asks the bemused digimon next to him.

"Nothing you did everything right it gotta be something else then but what could it be", Blaze pondered out loud.

"OF COURSE", Blaze shouted into the air as he continued to rant out loud.

"What...what have you just thought about Blaze", Storm demanded to know.

"Why didn't I think of that sooner your part demon digimon right and cause of that your power have been doubled in strength but I'm guessing it's also effected your type of attacks as well", Blaze explained.

"How do you mean?", Storm asked looking totally confused as he stared at Blaze as he started to explain.

"You have dark type attacks instead of our Renamon light attacks so try something that sounds like a normal but darker ok", as Storm nodded he spoke.

"Ok Blaze I'll give it a try", as he made himself ready to jump into the air.

Storm took a small run and then leaped into the air once again his silhouette in front of the moon once again as he opened his arms and bent his knees.

"Blood Rain", he shouted as he tried to attack but nothing thinking to himself.

"Something that sounds close to it but darker", as he got ready for his second attempt.

"Demon Storm", he bellowed he felt energy start to shoot from his chest towards both of his hands as storm summons a cloud of blood red razor-sharp shards which he fires at the biggest of all four of the rocks as the red shards hit there target they completely destroyed it as he landed next to Blaze who was totally stunned at what he had just witnessed.

"What, who, how, when, wooooooooooow", Blaze spurted out looking at where his favorite rock once stood.

"So that's what if feels like to use that attack what a rush", Storm gasped out of shock as he continued to speak unable to contain his building levels of excitement in his voice.

"So what's next Blaze?", he asks as he looked towards Blaze he could see the eagerness in Storms eyes.

"Ok Renamon have a power paw attack as well for close range combat but for you I would try something on the lines of dark paw or power claw see if that works" Blaze told storm coolly pointing him to another rock that had the chunks missing from it getting ready to attack storm shouts.

"Dark paw" as he swings his arm towards the rock but before it was too late he realised that the attack hadn't worked as he struck the rock with his bare paw causing him to shout out in pain.

"You ok Storm?", Blaze shouted over to him as he was still shaking his paw.

"Yeah I'm fine but the attack didn't work", he spoke loud as he rubbed his aching paw.

"Try mixing the two attack names to see if that works", Blaze said calmly.

"Ok I'll try that", Storm said as he walked back to the stone.

"Dark Claw", he boomed as his fists and feet started to glow in a ghostly red light which quickly become engulfed in a raging inferno of blood red flames he leaps into the air as he did a spin kick at the rock with a loud whooshing sound as he landed one of his legs and the other kneeling in front as he used one paw as support with his head bowed down eyes closed all of a sudden Blaze heard a creaking noise coming from behind Storm watching as a line appeared in the rock as it slowly started to move backwards after a few moments there was a loud crash as the rock hit the ground dust blowing into the air as Blaze just stood there staring between Storm and what was left of the rock.

"One kick that's all you did, just one fucking kick", Blaze shouted as he walked over to the remains running his paw over the broken rock.

"I don't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes, you just made a clean cut through that huge rock with one kick", Blaze gasped in shock.

The sun was starting to rise slowly from the horizon as Storm got up to his hind paws as he put a paw on Blaze's shoulders.

"Thank you for your help Blaze but I have to go somewhere so I meet you back in the house ok", Storm told him.

"Your welcome Storm but remember your not allowed to see Jade", Blaze told him.

"I know Blaze I'm not going to see Jade but I should be alright if I stand on the fountain and look at Taomon's house", Storm explained just before he teleported himself away.

As the sunlight slowly creeps over the town a black digimon starts to form on the edge of the fountain as he fully formed into shape he just stood staring at the house that his mate was in smiling at the building as he thought about his mate, he was looking at one of the windows he saw Taomon looking out staring right at him.

"I wonder what she is thinking about", he said to himself with a smile on his muzzle as he starts to do a few back flips as he finally went into a handstand before flipping onto the ground in front of the fountain walking towards Blaze's house wondering how Jade was taking being apart from him, as he and Blaze spent all day getting themselves ready for the big event tomorrow as nightfall over the town as a knock on the door, blaze opens the door looking at a young male Renamon.

"Sir I have a message you and the black Renamon", the young Renamon spoke quietly as he gave Blaze a letter.

"Thank you young one", he said with a smile on his face as Storm walked to the door behind him the young Renamon seeing the black digimon towering over Blaze.

"It's it's it's true you are the black Renamon", he stuttered as he started to walk backward.

"Ok I have to go now", he spurted out as he turned around and sprinted away as fast as he could.

"So who's the letter from Blaze?", Storm asked his friend.

"Well it looks like it's from Taomon", he started to explain as he continued to read the letter.

"It's what we have to do for tomorrows ceremony and what time you and I have to be there in front of the fountain at sunset", he told Storm happily closing the door well we better get some sleep if your going to look your best for Jade you need your beauty sleep", Blaze joked as they headed to their bedrooms for the final night in Blaze's house.

"Night Blaze", Storm called out from the room he was in.

"Night storm" Blaze's voice called back as the fell asleep in there own beds.

The next morning back at Taomon's house Jade woke up to the smells of baking bread coming in from her open window as the sun was shining into her room she said to herself out loud "today is going to be the happiest day of my life", smiling at the thought that in the evening time she will see her mate again after she had missed him over the past few days probably as much as he missed her she told herself as she sat up in her bed letting the covers glide down her fur caressing her as it fell sighing softly enjoying the feeling as her bedroom door opened Jade still rubbing her eyes trying to wake up as Sam walked in.

"Good morning Jade you looking forward to this evening", she asks the sleepy Renamon.

"What", Jade replied yawning.

"Oh yeah I can't wait for this evening I get to see Storm again", Jade tells Sam happily as Sam walks over to the bed and sits at the end looking at the sleepily eyed Renamon just smiling at her.

"Well we need to get the final part of your make over done but we can wait for a while before then", Sam told her as she place her hand on top of Jade's paw.

"Thank you Sam, have you seen Blaze or Storm today?", Jade asks still waking up both hearing a knock at the front door then hearing Taomon speaking to someone out side.

"Thank you there perfect", as they both heard the door close Jade and Sam rushed over to the window to see a Renamon walking away from the house as they looked around the town from Jade's window.

The town looked totally different from what it should there were flowers, ribbons, a arch way had been built in front of the fountain with flowers placed all over it a red carpet had been laid down leading from the first step to the arch, Jade could see Renamon in one part of town cooking a feast with such delightful scents make her and Sam's mouth water as they looked at the rest of the town everywhere had been decorated in some form or other with either flowers or ribbons.

"Wow this is all for you and Storm, Jade", Sam said sounding impressed with the amount of work that was going into her life mate ceremony as a knock on the door and Taomon's voice came from behind.

"Jade my I come in?", she asked her daughter as Jade turned to face her door.

"Sure mother come in", Jade yipped happily as the door open Jade ran to her mother grabbing one of her paws as she dragged Taomon to the window.

"Mother look what everyone has done for me and Storm", said excitedly.

"I know my child it's not often we have a chance to do a life mate ceremony by the way I have a gift for you but you have to see them later on", Taomon said happily a smile beaming on her muzzle as Jade looked back with a smile on her muzzle too.

"I guess that will have to be ok", she sighed making all three of them laugh.

"Well we have some final bits for your make over Jade shall we get started in a bit?", Sam asked.

Jade who was looking back out of the window seeing a Renamon walking over to Blaze's house carrying two boxes in it's arms as he knocked on the door she could see her black digimon step out of the doorway and into the open air he was speaking with the Renamon as he took the boxes in his arms and bowed his head Jade just sighed looking lost in the love she has for her mate.

"Jade, Jade hello Jade can you hear me Jade", Sam was trying to get Jade's attention for the past three of four minuets Jade finally snapping round.

"What oh sorry Sam it's just that", Jade couldn't say any thing more as she started to giggle as Sam put her arm around Jade's back and whispered into her ear.

"I know Blaze has that effect on me too but I think it's time we had some food", Taomon nodding in agreement as she then spoke.

"Then little lady you need to get ready for your wedding".

Across town Storm having just collected the two boxes started to walk into Blaze's house.

"Blaze I have a box for you from Taomon", he called out as Blaze walked into the kitchen calling back to his friend.

"Want to bring them into the kitchen so we can see what we got", as Storm walked into the kitchen holding the two boxes as he placed them on a table gently as Blaze took a look at them.

"Well the top one has a S and the other a B which I'm guessing means there meant for us but there's no way to open them", he said as Blaze took one of the boxes and looked all around it Storm saw a note on the top of the bottom box which he took and reads out.

"Dear Storm and Blaze you have two boxes in front of yourselves which contain a gift for each of you but the boxes will only open half an hour before the ceremony is to start this evening whatever you have in the box you must bring with you signed Taomon p.s Jade and Sam miss you both and send there love", as he put the note down on the table looking at Blaze who asks Storm.

"How you feeling Storm?", who was trying to smile but Blaze could see it was a false smile.

"To tell you the truth Blaze right now I'm so nervous about later on", Storm told his friend falling back into a chair as he continued to talk.

"I mean a week ago I was still human, just asked Jade to marry me then I get transformed into this black Renamon which I love by the way I've never felt so alive but it all comes down to being nervous on my wedding day", he starts to laugh nervously.

"After everything you and Jade have been through I thought this would be easy for you but I remember the first time I mated with Sam I was that nervous I missed her hole twice as I didn't want to hurt her", Blaze finished talking.

Storm could see the even a great fighter like blaze he was still blushing.

"Well it was the same with us all most males miss on their first go at mating I did when I was a human anyway", Storm tells him trying to help Blaze calm down as both Renamon start to laugh.

"Well the town looks impressive for this evenings little event" Blaze told Storm looking out if the kitchen window.

"I wonder what the girls are up to?", he asked out loud his voice sounded like he was in a daydream just thinking about what was happening across town.

"Probably the same thing that's happening here there getting ready for this evening like we should do blaze", Storm said happily now feeling a lot calmer now he had spoke with Blaze.

As the hours went past the town was finished getting decorated and the most of the town's population were already started to get ready for the ceremony that would be taking place in the next hour Storm and Blaze heard a bleeping coming from the kitchen as they both got up to see what was making the noise as they both walked into the kitchen they saw that the boxes had opened up slightly as they walked over to the table standing in front of there own box.

"You first Storm", Blaze whispered just loud enough for Storm to hear him as Storm moved his paws on the box as he slowly started to open it.

"BOOOOOOOM", shouted Blaze making Storm jump onto the table top in one swift movement looking daggers at him.

"What the hell you do that for?", Storm shouted at Blaze who was on the floor doubled up with laughter after he made Storm jump out of his fur as he got up from the floor.

"I'm sorry but I had to do that just to see your face", he said still laughing at the black Renamon as Storm started to laugh along with Blaze now seeing the funny side of what had just happened.

"We should find out what is inside these boxes as we have a time limit now, remember what that note said about having half an hour before the ceremony is to start", Storm said still giggling at the thought of him being frightened by a box.

"Ok on the count of three we open them together ok Blaze", Storm continued speaking.

"Ok Storm", Blaze replied.

"Ready one, two, three", he almost shouted with excitement as both of them opened there own box inside Blaze's box there was a new set of purple gloves made out of the finest cloth with gold and white embossing on them of the ying-yang symbol.

"Ok I got a set of new gloves what's in your one Storm", Blaze asked sounding impressed with the gift he had just received as Storm opened his box to reveal a set of red leather gloves they had a black trim on both ends with a black ying-yang embossed on both gloves he lifted them out of his box as he took off his cloth set and placed them on to the table top as Blaze did the same.

"I can't believe you get leather gloves and I only get cloth" Blaze said jealously as he put on his gloves as Storm just smiled knowing that he will be seeing his mate in about twenty minuets or so.

As Storm put on his new gloves fitting him perfectly he held his arms out by his sides as he started to look at them.

"How come you get a set made out of leather and I only get ones made out of cloth?", Blaze asked sounding downhearted.

"Well maybe if your about to get married then you will get a set too but seeing that this time it's me anyway I think your new gloves look good on you Blaze", Storm said reassuringly.

"Anyway I think we better head over I don't want to be late for my own ceremony otherwise Taomon might kill me for being late for Jade's big day", he joked.

"Grand entrance?", Blaze asked as he walked over to the window to see the whole town was waiting for the ceremony to begin.

"Err Storm you know the whole town is there right", Blaze said nervously as Storm just laughed to himself.

"I know Blaze and that's why we're doing a grand entrance", Storm told his friend as he placed his paw on one of Blaze's shoulders as Blaze placed one of his paws on Storm's shoulders so they were faced each other.

"Well this is it Blaze thank you for letting me stay here", Storm spoke kindly to his friend.

"Storm your welcome and we've had fun but now you have a bigger challenge ahead of you which I am truly glad I can take part in with you and Jade but your mate is waiting for you so let's not keep her waiting any longer then needed", Blaze's words went straight to Storms heart as a single tear rolled down his face.

"Thank you now lets go", Storm barked happily as the walked towards the main door into the open town square.

As they walked out of the house the crowd erupted into a humongous cheer as they spotted the black Renamon.

"Well I wasn't expecting that", a shocked Storm said to his friend as they were stopped in there tracks by the roar and applauds of the town's folk as they looked at each other.

"Ready", Blaze shouted over the cheering.

"Yeah", Storm shouted back as they started to run towards the crowd.

"NOW", Storm shouts as the both disappear Storm leaving wisps of black smoke as they teleported themselves to the centre of the crowd reappearing on the red carpet in front of the arch waiting for a few moments before Taomon appeared before them she wasn't wearing her normal robes but ones made out of a gold material with a black and green ying-ying embossed on her chest shining bright in the evening sunlight.

"Well its good to see you two again", she tells them happily as she places a paws on each of there shoulders as she moved her head closer to Storm's ear as she whispers to him.

"And I was impressed with the back flips you did yesterday morning but this is your and Jade's special day", as she moved her head away from Storm's head looking around the sea of yellow all around.

"Today is a special day when two Renamon who love each other enough that they choose to become life mates, so in our honourably tradition we are here today to celebrate the love that two share between each other", her voice echoed around the town as cheers started from the crowd.

"Storm, Blaze would you two stand to my left hand side please", Taomon asked the two Renamon as the took a few steps to the left standing in front of her "now if you two would mind not looking behind you", Taomon asked them.

As drums started playing they heard the door to Taomon's house open then the crowd gasp at the sight of Jade as Storm heard a few of them say.

"Doesn't she look beautiful", as he heard more gasps of awwww's moving towards them from behind getting closer and closer until the it was right behind them as silence fell almost instantly, Storm hearing faint paw steps walking beside him as he felt a paw brush against his own paw as he looks to his right as he stares into the loving green eye's of Jade as he looks at her his jaw almost hit's the floor with astonishment, her fur had been groomed so well it was shining almost glowing golden and bright white in the evening sun light as he moved his head upwards again he saw that upon her head was a crown of flowers as she took hold of his paw she too had a new set of gloves she had green leather gloves with gold trim on both ends and a black embossed ying-yang embroiled on both of them.

Jade saw that Storm's fur had also been groomed his fur was sleek and smooth like water flowing in a still river and that he also had a set of leather gloves as well in red with a black trim as she let go of his paw she threw herself at her mate her arms opened wide as he saw he opened his arms as well as the embraced each other in a long and loving hug a few tears started to roll down Jade's face.

"I've missed you so much Storm", she whispers into his ear as he rubs her back trying to calm Jade down.

"Well it's been hard for me as well I've been missing you my sweet Jade", he speaks softly to her as they break there hug.

Storm starts to speak up a bit louder.

"Jade you look truly amazing, I would say breath taking", Storm complemented his mate as she moved her paws behind her back tilting her head to one side with a huge smile on her muzzle as she started to turn red from his words.

"Well you don't look too bad yourself my dark mate", she told him seductively still in her pose as he saw Sam standing next to Jade even she had a white dress on he guess it was made by the same Renamon who made their gloves as Blaze looked to his right past Storm he saw his mate in this white dress.

Sam also had a crown of flowers on her head but not as elegant as the one Jade was wearing as Taomon raised both of her paws upwards lighting the touches that were placed along the red carpet every few feet from each other as dead silence ran through the sea of yellow digimon as a sign that the ceremony was about to start.

Taomon starts to speak.

"My fellow Renamon we are here to cerebrate a great occasion on this day as my daughter is to take her life mate which is why we have gathered here this very evening", as cheers ran throughout the crowd.

"Her mate has passed the three trials that have been used for over two hundred generations to prove that they are worthy enough to become bonded together as life mates, my daughter's mate stands before you all this evening as a sign of love and respect he holds for my child as he stands before me as I shall give blessing for there union to take place, now both shall speak from there hearts to tell each other of the love they share between them and the bond they shall form that can never be broken", Taomon announced loud as she looked at Jade and Storm.

"Both of you will now tell each other what is in your heart about the one you love" Taomon told them as Storm and Jade turned to face each other both staring into each others eyes.

"Wow that's hard", Storm said nervously making Jade giggle.

"That's what I said the first time we mated", Jade said making Storm start to laugh as well.

As Taomon stats to speak to Jade and Storm "it is tradition that the female is to go first when telling there mate how they feel", as both nodded there heads Jade was staring at her mate as she started to speak loud.

"From the moment I first meet you I knew that we were meant to be together our souls connected, I hear your voice in my dreams when you sleep next to me, I feel your love when you are far from me, when you hold me in your arms I feel safe as your heart is my sun burning bright with love, I feel your touch in my dreams, every time we kiss I know you love me with all your heart as I now give to you my heart and soul as your life mate my dark Renamon", Jade finished speaking staring in to storms eyes with a small smile on her muzzle and tear of happiness her eye as storm was about to speak.

"Jade we once made a promises to stay by each other side no matter what comes our way, you are the one I hold close to my heart and never want to let go of you as your love gives me strength to protect you from harm, my love for you is eternal you have my heart, my soul and my undying love for the rest of time, Jade you mean everything to me I would never let anything hurt you", as Storm pressed his paw on her cheek softly looking into her eyes lovingly as storm continues to speak to her.

"Jade are the most important person in my life which I never want to lose you so now I give you my heart and soul to you as your life mate Jade Renamon", as he finished speaking he stares into Jade's eyes he could see the love she had for him burning brighter then the sun.

"You have heard the truth that is in there hearts, the love they have for each other and the one that they will share for the rest of time connected by love and life itself two soul mates destined to be one soul that is stronger together then when apart", she announced aloud to the town as a young Renamon came out holding a red cushion in her paws with a small blue orb placed on the centre as she started walking down the red carpet towards the couple waiting to hear what Taomon had to say.

"Storm would you place the orb in the palm of your paw please", Taomon asked the black Renamon as he takes hold of the orb he lifts it from the cushion and placed it gently in his paw as Taomon looks a Jade

"Now my sweet child you have to place your paw on top of the orb in your mate's paw and both of you close your eyes", as Taomon asks her daughter and her mate as the both nodded in understanding as Jade slowly placed her paw on top of her mate's paw over the orb as they felt each others paw touch they both closed there eyes.

The next thing they knew both could feel each others heartbeats as well as there own hearts as Jade asked with her eyes still shut.

"Mother why can I feel Storm's heart beating as well as my heart", her voice ran with shock as Taomon smiled and gave her an answer.

"This is the final part of the life mate ceremony it will connect both of you together for all time the heart beats you both are feeling is the love you have for each other", they both felt each others heart beating stronger then their own hearts as Taomon spoke.

"You may now remove your paw my child", at hearing this Jade did what her mother had asked of her as she slowly lifted her paw away from the orb she could still feel Storm's heart beating inside her chest as it faded away gently leaving her with a warm afterglow inside her chest as she heard Taomon speak to Storm.

"You may now place the orb back on the cushion please", as Storm did what he was asked to do by Taomon he felt the same warm afterglow inside as the Jade's heartbeats gently fading away.

"Now take her paw in yours young one", Taomon requested as Storm took Jade's paw in his looking deeply into her eyes as Taomon started to speak out loud.

"The bonds of love are forged and they can never be broken both of you have made a choice to be together as long as you both shall live, Storm do you accept Jade as your life mate", as Storm looks into his mates green eyes lovingly as he proudly says.

"I do accept Jade as my life mate from now till death takes me away from her".

He could see tears welling up in Jades eyes as he spoke to Taomon as she asked her daughter.

"Jade do you accept Storm as your life mate", as Jade looked between Storm and her mother as she finally stopped looking upon the one she loves.

"I do take Storm as my life mate", she yipped happily with tears of joy gently trickling down her face as Storm wiped her face caringly with his black paw drying her tears as he smiled at her.

As she placed her paw on top of his on her cheek as Taomon watched the couple as she cleared her throat

"I am honoured to now say that you are now life mates from this day on, you may now kiss your mate".

As Storm and Jade took a step towards each other they grabbed each other in a loving embrace as they finally pressed their muzzles together in a long kiss, as the crowd let out a all mighty roar of cheers and applause for the new couple.

Blaze walked over to Sam with tears in his eyes.

"What wrong my love?", Sam asked her sobbing Renamon mate as she put her arms around his waist.

"Well I always, I can't tell you Sam you'll just laugh at me" he said still sobbing as Sam looked into his eyes.

"Blaze I promise I won't laugh at what ever you have to tell me", sam smiled as she reassured him.

"Ok then", he started to speak.

"It's just that I always cry at life mate ceremonies", he was still sobbing as Sam embraced him in her arms.

"Come here you silly fox", sam teased as she pressed her lips on to his black nose.

"Well there is one good thing that comes out of this", Sam said softly. "What's that sweetie?", Blaze tilted his head to one side looking confused as he spoke to his human mate as Sam moved her hand down and squeezed his yellow butt making him jump a little as she spoke.

"Well the best man or in your case mon gets to sleep with the bridesmaid", Sam tells him lustfully as he looks at his mate grinning widely as they both start to take part in the celebration of the new couple with the rest of the town.

The night sky above the town that was now lit with torches as the after party was in full swing as the entire town dancing to the sound of drums playing through the air as all the Renamon were dancing all around to the beat of the music.

As Storm and Jade were sitting on the edge of the fountain enjoying the music as they held each other close.

"Well how does it feel to be my life mate my love", Storm asked his mate who was resting her head on his shoulder, sighing happily as her eyes looked deeply in to his eyes as she replied.

"Wonderful my love but there is one thing we need to do".

As Storm looked puzzled at what his mate had just told him as he stroked her beautiful golden fur.

"what do you mean my love?", he asked sounding completely confused.

He felt her place one of her paws on his chest teasing his fur as she moved her paw down towards his stomach as Jade moved her head closer to Storm's ear.

"We have not mated for four days now", Jade whispered as she licked his nose seductively as he gets what Jade is talking about.

"WHAT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE HERE", Storm spoke out loud trying to keep his voice calm but the music was overpowering his own voice so no one apart from Jade who started to giggled.

"No silly not here in my room but we have to wait till later as this party is for us", Jade told her mate.

Storm was watching Taomon as she was talking to the young Renamon who had been holding the orb she looked very happy about the party that was going on as they talked about something the Renamon nodded as she teleported away, as Taomon started to walk towards them through the crowd enjoying the music as she reached the pair still sitting on the wall.

"And how are my children doing then?", Taomon asked the two as Storm answered sounding confused.

"What do you mean by my children Taomon?", as Jade started to giggle again and Taomon smiled at him as she sat next to him.

"When you became my mate honey not only did you get me, you also join into my family, so my mother kinda becomes an adopted mother for you as well", Jade explains to him as Taomon starts to add into the banter.

"The only thing is you have to mate with both of us from now on so I hope you have a strong back Storm".

"WHAT are you being serious Taomon", Storm stuttered in shock as both Jade and Taomon started to laugh.

"Hey that's not funny I thought I had to mate with both of you instead of only Jade", he spoke sounding worried at what they had just joked about as Jade placed her paws on each side of Storm's face and pulled him to her muzzle as she kissed him with a fierily passion pressing her whole body against him as his tongue explored every part of her mouth as he was being pushed back by her body until they both fell backwards with a SPLASH, as they fell in to the fountain sending water flying into the air covering Taomon's robes as she looked round to see the two Renamon laying in the kneel high water laughing as she started to laugh with them.

Storm and Jade were still holding each other in the water as Taomon started to speak.

"Don't you think you two better get out of there".

"Would you mind if we went to my room mother to dry off", Jade asked looking up at her mother as she and Storm were still in each others arms floating in the water.

"Well your room should be ready by now anyway, so go get dried off and if you have time come back to enjoy the party", Taomon said happily knowing full well that she wasn't going to see her and him till the morning.

"We'll try Taomon", Storm said as Taomon interrupted him.

"You can call me mother now Storm as I wish to be able to call you son", smiling at the soggy pair still laying in the fountain.

"I would like that Taomon sorry I mean mother, I would like that a lot", Storm said happily with a wide smile on his muzzle as Jade spoke up.

"Don't you think we better go and get dried off before we catch something my handsome mate", he could see lust building in her eyes.

"Your right my sexy vixen", he told her as he pressed a kiss onto her damp neck making Jade gasped.

"Mother if we do not see you later we wish you a good night", Jade said smiling at her mother as Taomon replied.

"You too my children sweet dreams", as both of them teleported out of the water and vanished into thin air.

As they reappeared in the hallway to Jade's bedroom Storm and Jade both saw the young Renamon who had held the orb at there ceremony and the same one that Storm had seen talking to Taomon had come out of Jade's room as she walked she was chatting to herself with her head bent down looking at the floor as she closed the door and started to walk towards them with her head stilling at the floor.

As she walked down the hallway right into Jade making herself jump out of her fur in shock as she fell backwards to the hard floor with a bump.

"Ouch", she said rubbing her furry butt as she looked up to see what or who she hit as she saw Jade's smiling face as she held a soaked paw out to help the younger Renamon up to her hind paws.

"Are you ok?", Jade asked the surprised Renamon still sitting on the floor as she took Jade's wet paw as she helped her up.

"I'm fine thank you, princess and I'm sorry for walking into you", she said as she bowed at Storm and Jade seeing that they were both soaking wet.

"Would you two like a towel each to dry off?", she asked them.

"Yes please", they both replied.

As she walked to a cupboard opened it and took out two towels for them as they dried themselves looking at the Renamon.

"So who are you anyway?", Jade asked.

"I am lady Taomon's maid", she told them happily as she continued explaining.

"I was getting your room ready princess for you and your new mate", her words took Jade by surprise.

"Wait what do you mean by ready?", Storm asked.

"I'm sorry I was told by lady Taomon not to say anything to you two", she told them with a disappointed expression on her furry face, as Jade just smiled at her in a friendly manner.

"Well you can tell lady Taomon that I've given you the evening off so you can go out and enjoy yourself with everyone else and me and my mate can go see my room", Jade spoke joyfully to the Renamon in front of her as she bowed at Jade excitement ran through her voice as she spoke.

"Oh thank you miss, would you and your mate like anything before I go?", she asked as both Storm and Jade answered.

"No thank you were fine", as Storm continued to speak "now go and have a good time", he told her as she bowed once again in thanks as she turned on the spot as bounded down the hallway happily.

As Jade turned to face Storm he grabbed her in his arm leaning her backwards as he pressed his muzzle on to hers as they kissed with a deep passion making Jade murmur with pleasure as Storm's tongue teased hers both twisting inside her mouth as he broke the kiss holding onto Jade as both were panting.

"You've never kissed me like that before", Jade panted as she stroked the fur on Storm's back as he pulled her upwards so she was standing again.

"Well I thought I save that for a special moment", Storm replied catching his breath back as he smells Jade's scent rising from between her legs.

"Can we head to our room now my love", Jade pleaded her mate as she took hold of his paw almost dragging him to their room as she opened the door taking a look inside.

Jade saw her that she no longer had a bed just for her but a four poster bed big enough for herself and Storm the sleep on there were candles lit all around the room with a sweet smell being realised by them as they burned while the light had been dimmed.

"Wow I don't believe it", jade gasped as she took a few steps into her room followed by Storm who was still holding her paw.

"It's not how I remember it", storm joked thinking to himself that he has never actually been in Jade's room in body before anyway.

"So this is our room now I guess my sweet vixen", Storm told her placing his arms around her chest in a tight embrace as he used one of his hind paws to close their bedroom door.

"Well I can say my bed is now bigger then yours my love" she teased as Storm stated to speak.

"But what can we do in it", he replied knowing what they had in mind.
