#1 of Traveling Through My Own World Created From A World Seed Hidden As a Bugged Pokemon Game

Our Protagonist Buys what he thinks is a bugged game, that is actually a world seed, and somehow creates a world for himself to Live In. This is the prologue setting up the world, or at least setting up what the MC knows of the world in a Meta Sense, as well, you'll see as time goes on.

Have you ever ended up feeling regret over your life choices? For any reason whatsoever, even let's say buying a single player Full Dive VR game, only to find out it's bugged to hell, and somehow end up in another world? Yes to the first, no to the second? Well aren't you lucky. You see, the second happened to me and led to my current predicament, which I'll get to in a second, but first let's go All the way back to the start of what led to today, shall we?

It all started when Nintendo announced their first ever Full Dive VR Pokemon game, where Multiplayer was Optional for once. That should have been my first red flag. My second should have been when they announced it's release price was less than a hundred dollars so long as you reported any bugs you found, and what should have been my third red flag? Well my third red flag should have been that the amount of people buying the game was WAY lower than I expected for something that revolutionary and different from the norm in their series. Of course, I ignored all three red flags because of three things, that honestly, shouldn't have prevented me from noticing stuff that was so obvious. The first was that I was, am, and always will be a die hard Pokemon fan. The second, I literally had nothing else to do the day of the release, and my friend had gifted me a Full Dive VR headset due to being tired of my bitching about how consoles just weren't cutting it anymore, and I really wanted to test the damn thing. Finally the third, was that it was a cheap game, it was Pokemon, I had the Full Dive VR equipment, and I was curious what bugs the developers had missed, so much so, that they'd request people actually freaking report them, when Nintendo usually just waits for people to post YouTube videos about glitches before fixing them, for some gods damned reason.

Anyway, these three things led to me rushing out of the house, buying the game, and rushing home to set it up. It only took me three hours in line to get the game, an hour to set it up, with adult settings, which should have been a fourth red flag because Pokemon has never been aimed at an adult audience, but hey I thought maybe they were reaching out to a broader audience since a lot of their die hard fans were adults nowadays. Also, I kinda thought Nintendo was finally falling in to the depravity of the rest of humanity, so was my bad for believing that people could change I guess. Anyway, after I set up the game, I laid on my bed, and started the full immersion.

The game started off like you' think a Pokemon game would, with Professor Oak as my Pokemon Professor due to me picking Kanto as the region I wanted to start in. Then he started his usual spiel before asking me "Are you a boy, or a girl?" I, being a man and proud of the thing dangling between my legs, chose a boy. He continued with his spiel, then a black silhouette appeared and he said "This is your rival, my grandchild are they a boy or a girl?" I blinked surprised,, having thought that they'd just use the standard Blue is Oak's grandson due to it being a Pokemon game allowing you to pick Kanto, but instead it gave the options of Boy, Girl, and Both. I chose Girl just for the hell of it, but was curious about the Both option. Professor Oak nodded and said "Ah, that's right, this is my Granddaughter, and what was her name again?" I just typed in Brianna for her name, and Blue for her nickname, then one last silhouette appeared and he said "And here is you two's childhood friend, what gender were they, and what's their name again?"

I hummed and chose both this time, just for the hell of it and named the character Cleo Green, with the nickname Green. Oak nodded at me and said "Ah yes young Cleo, but you boys just called her by her last name. One last question, what is the usual ratio of male to female trainers?" I hummed in thought and glanced at the options. There was the classic 1 to 1, double that at 2 to 1 in favor of both males and females, 5 to one for both options, as well as 10 to 1 for both options, and finally the highest ratio it would allow is 100 to 1, which I chose because, fuck it I honestly wanted to see how that would affect my game's settings. You see, I'd set the ratio of women to men at 10 to 1 in my original settings, which now meant for every 10 female births, there was one male birth, in humans. While in wild Pokemon I set the ratio to 5 to 1, because for some odd reason the game let me do that. Which is making me start to think that something was wrong with the game besides it being bugged. I mean it was allowing me to completely alter the settings from their standard settings in the series, or the ratios shown on the different fan websites like Pokemon Database.

Anyway, with my settings in place I realized that if one out of every 10 girls was a trainer, then that would mean 1 out of every 100 guys was a trainer. I just laughed to myself at my settings, wondering how that'd effect things in the long run. Now, mind you, I'll admit to being a massive pervert, but the game had asked me what age Trainers usually started at, and I chose sixteen, as well as setting my own in game age to 16. I was rather unwilling to have ten year old children fighting people with creatures literally called pocket monsters, especially with the settings I had. Well, that and I really didn't feel it'd be nice to beat up a ten year old kid's team when I'd been playing the games for over twenty years in the real world. Obviously I'd be as much of a noob as any other trainer since I'd have to give commands in some way other than just "click a for yes, click b for no." I'd also have to literally use items and trust in my team in a pinch.

Now, before we go on, I feel I must address anyone's concerns, I admitted to being a massive pervert already, but you should know that I am equal opportunist pervert. That means that whether it's a guy or a girl, I'll definitely flirt with them if they catch my interest. This is relevant, because in my settings I made it where gender norms weren't really an enforced thing. Again, thinking back on it, I should have realized there was more up with this game than just being a Buggy Pokemon Game, but I honestly thought they were tailoring each player's experience to what the player truly wanted. How naive of me, right? I mean we all know game companies gave up on actually wanting people to enjoy their games in exchange for money decades ago. Again though, I truly believed that the damn game was giving me what I wanted because the programmers had a change of heart, you can laugh if you want.

Anyway, I stuck to what I'd appeared like when I was sixteen, rather than an idealized version of myself, well mostly what I looked like, with minor cosmetic changes. My skin was tanner, my hair had black tips and would stay the same light sandy blonde with black tips, without me constantly seeing a stylist, unlike my natural dirty blonde hair in the real world that had darkened with age, my eyes stayed the same color changing that they were in the real world, with gray as their default. I slightly increased my muscle mass from back then, from very thin with no muscle tone, to a light swimmer's build, and despite not feeling like I was lacking in the groin department, I increased my genitals by about 2 inches in length, and two in girth, as well as increasing my testes size to increase my virility, not that I believed the game would actually let me fuck anyone or anything. Anyway, my testes were each now the size of smaller bouncy balls, and my shaft was about 9 inches long, and 4 inches thick.

Again, I admit I'm a pervert, but I didn't want a stallion's shaft between my legs, even if I increased my height to 6 feet and 2 inches tall instead of my actual physical body's size of 5 foot 11 inches tall. As for my weight it was set to be at 185 pounds. I also set my metabolism to be slightly above average so I could actually eat a bit more without gaining weight, but wouldn't have to worry about losing muscle if I missed a meal or two. I also added a few scars to go with the backstory I'd selected for my character, which was the son of a pair of trainers, who'd been attacked by a wild growlithe as a kid and been saved by his father's vaporeon. I'd also made it that rather than being afraid from the experience, I was just worried about what had led to the puppy Pokemon, widely considered to be friendly, to suddenly attack me when I didn't even enter it's territory.

I also edited the "girls" stories a bit since the game asked me for childhood events that would affect our trainer careers. I said Blue had an older brother who had set out on a journey when we were ten, and then just disappeared off the radar, making her desire to travel more important than being the champion until Chloe and I reminded her that being champion meant she'd have more resources to look for Alexander "Alex" Oak. What I didn't notice, was the professor actually had reacted to my changing of Blue's background, almost as if he was being imparted with these memories. Meanwhile for Green, I made it where her moms were contest trainers. One of which was why she was a hermaphrodite, and she planned on joining the contest circuit, while also working for the professor as a certified lab assistant.

As for me, aside from the growlithe incident, I worked with Oak on the ranch, planned to catch every Pokemon in the world, planned to explore every region, including the Ranger's Union, Orre, and any undiscovered regions. The game hinted the world was vaster than I could ever hope to know, especially when Oak told me my goal was admirable, but may not be able to be achieved in a single person's lifetime. I'd also made the world more realistic, to a point, by making it where Pokemon would realistically fight for territory, dominance, mates, and food. Basically with every line of backstory I wrote for the world, the game seemed to grow more and more immense, almost as if it was trying to cater to my every whim. I'm starting to think that was one of the bugs, or you know, well no you don't, but anyway I'll get to that after finishing talking about the background and what not.

I'd given myself the nickname Red, because who that played the original Pokemon games didn't want to be associated with Red, the original Protagonist, and made it where I had an older sister named Rosalyn "Rose" Okami, who'd gone out into the world, but still occasionally sent letters, and was currently looking for Alex, but had lost track of him in the Orre region. She'd also warned me strange things were going on in Orre, and that she would be helping a few people deal with a pest problem, but that she wouldn't be able to come in town in time for the girls and I getting our first Pokemon. I'm guessing you know what that pest problem was? Yeah, not my brightest idea to actually let that particular group show itself, but hey, live and learn and all that.

Anyway there was more to our backgrounds that I'm not going to go into, but you can probably guess my outfit, with a few modifications. Yup, it was Red's outfit, just with the white replaced by black, red and black running shoes, and a black bag with a red and silver pokeball on it rather than the classic all red or red and white design. Anyway when all that was done, I got a rather ominous message from the game, that should have told me it was a hell of a lot different than buggy.

Oak turned to me and asked "Are you sure this is the world we live in, Jake "Red" Okami?" I had nodded and replied that yes I was sure and he just sighed softly then said "You've made your choice I guess, no backing out now my boy. I will see you on the other side, and I must warn you, Arceus herself says that first step is a doozy." I started to ask what they meant then the white world we were in started to fade away only to be replaced by me standing in the Legendaries' Blessed Halls of Origin, with Arceus herself in front of me. She studied me and said "So, you are the one who has made this world, and me along with it." I blinked as I glanced down at myself and saw I looked like I did in the real world, and Arceus said "Why you would choose to live among us my lord, I do not know, but thank you for helping us become more than we once were. I will gladly be the god of this world until you wish to take your rightful place, but all I can say is, have fun among your subjects, Lord Origin."

I blinked and tried to ask what he/she/it meant, but she, cause the voice had been decidedly female smiled and said softly "No time to explain my lord, just know, that what you were given was the seeds of creation for our world, and you chose to expand it. Now please, have fun, and remember. Dreams are a link to reality." She bent down and kissed my forehead, causing my body to turn into my avatar, then I felt a shock to my system and found myself feeling as if I was falling at a million miles an hour. As I fell I heard Arceus whisper "Protect our world, my lord, and please be prepared for that which you created and those who wish you both ill will and good things. I will be waiting on Spear Pillar until such time as you call upon me, Now go, and enjoy YOUR POKEMON WORLD LORD ORIGIN!"

After Arceus' words faded I "woke up" for lack of a better term in a bed, feeling extremely tired. I groaned softly and muttered aloud "Rose, five more minutes." Then I covered my head with my pillow to block out the light, while thinking that "Rose" was going to tear my blankets off. When nothing happened I slowly opened my eyes and glanced around the room, feeling confused that my sister wasn't there, until the memories of everything I'd did before becoming Jake "Red" Okami came into focus in my mind. When they hit, I collapsed back onto the bed and muttered "Fuck my life, I transmigrated myself."
