It's time for more Mother of Darkness--the saga returns! After a number of unusual lovers, Aqua returns to breeding with more conventional Heartless. This one might be the most humanlike yet, in more ways than one... Brush up on older chapters in my 'Mother of Darkness' folder!

Dealing with an infant Possessor was quite the tribulation—not that Aqua minded terribly much. Her new offspring was a rambunctious rascal, frequently drifting over to take hold of whatever it could find; it made tree limbs dance of their own accord or brought crumbling statues to life, their eyelights blinking the same yellow as its base form as it lumbered around curiously.

When not living up to its name, the Possessor cuddled up to her for protection. Its soft mouth often affixed to her nipples and drank from her, and Aqua leaned back with a sigh when it did so, relaxing into maternal bliss as she released her lush bounty. On occasion, she drifted a hand up as if to stroke it. Her hand passed through the black gaseous form of her child, dark vapor stirring about her fingers, but the Possessor chirruped nonetheless, as if it enjoyed the attention.

Her two most recent pregnancies had been very atypical, and Aqua’s body recuperated from them faster than ever. Before long she was slim and trim and back to fighting form—well, partially. Her breasts had still gained a cup size or two, the fabric often darkening with coin shapes of milk. More subtly, her hips had started to round out. Nothing too much; in fact, it was so slight that few would likely realize the change. Certainly, bearing even a single ‘normal’ child would have far greater an effect on her figure. Still, she thought, running a hand over the curve of her hips, I suppose it was too much to ask that I bear dozens of monstrous offspring and not feel the effects in some way.

Are you happy? Inner Aqua had returned, her tone acerbic. Even if the two of us ever return to the Realm of Light, which is looking more and more like an impossibility by the way, your shape has indisputably shifted. You’re visibly a mother now. How will you explain this when confronted? Hmm? Aqua swallowed wordlessly, the action suddenly dry in her throat. Will you lie to them, or will you spill the truth—that a guardian of the light opened her legs and surrendered her womb to the hordes of darkness? Inner Aqua scoffed. Do you think Terra will lie with you ever again, now that you’ve bred with beasts?

Terra… remembering her fellow acolyte made the Keyblade Master’s heart yearn. Of all the friends she had left behind, she missed him most of all. They had been friends, fellow apprentices, and even more… prior to coming to the Realm, he had been her only sexual partner. Aqua blushed thinking about the quiet moments the two of them had stolen in the Land of Departure, their voices arcing in whispered bliss. After the depravity she had endured here in the Land, those quiet moments of her sobbing as she squeezed his cock seemed downright vanilla.

And yet, remembering those times filled her with yearning. How she wished she could go back to her days with him. She prayed that Xehanort’s darkness had not swallowed him completely…

Were her whispered doubts correct? Would he judge her for the path her choices had taken down here in the Realm?

You made your bed, her inner self asserted smugly. You chose to mate with these creatures, simply because you were horny. Oh, justify it as breeding the malevolence out of them all you like. You know as well as I do that when you fucked the Dark Hide, you had no idea you would plumpen with offspring. It was hard to argue with that. And that initial satisfaction of orgasming around monster cock is what really drove you back. You can’t lie to yourself, Master Aqua.

The taunt rang in her mind, and Aqua sighed. Her inner self was right… at least, partially right. Aqua had by now vociferously thrown herself into her duty of breeding some good into the Heartless, but her initial tryst with the Dark Hide, and her eagerness to pursue future beasts, were born of her own lewd desires.

As doubt washed over her, a sensation plucked her out of those thoughts. The Possessor was nudging against her chest with a chirp. Smiling maternally, Aqua lowered her shirt and let the Heartless eagerly suck from her. She sighed as the milk flowed, easing pressure she had long since forgotten was there.

Perhaps she had gone into this with less-than-pure intentions. And if she ever managed to return to the Realm of Light, perhaps her choices would indelibly color others’ perceptions of her—even Terra might leave her behind. That thought ached.

But as she yielded nourishment for the baby Possessor, she was filled with genuine, real, maternal warmth—the same feeling that had blossomed over her again and again with every one of her monstrous young. That feeling wasn’t false. She loved all her children, monsters though they might be.

She ‘stroked’ the Possessor gently, wispy vapor swirling around her fingers, and listened to it purr in appreciation. No, this wasn’t a mistake, regardless of whatever doubts her inner self came up with. “I love you, little one,” she said, and meant it.

Over time, her child grew more and more confident, possessing larger and more complex things. One item, however, remained forever out of its grasp: Aqua’s Keyblade.

No matter how the Possessor tried to seep into it, claiming control, it always ended up being rejected. Aqua giggled at the sight of it sulking about, glowering at the weapon.

“I’m afraid this isn’t for you,” she said. “Keyblades are weapons against the darkness. Even one as pure-hearted as yourself, they’ll naturally repulse…” Her child had just sniffed and turned away pridefully, and Aqua chuckled.

Eventually, after what felt like weeks of Aqua luxuriating in maternal care, she woke to a soft nudge against her arm. The Keyblade Master immediately flipped back, summoning her Keyblade in hand—but it was only her child, having cobbled together a disjointed, vaguely humanoid body from crumbling stones. Soft yellow eyelights glowed from within the stone.

Chirping and cooing, the voice oddly soft for her child’s choice of form, the possessed golem nudged up against her. Instinctually, Aqua knew that the time had come to say goodbye. She smiled and nuzzled her child affectionately, whispering well-wishes, but even as she did so, her heart pained. So many farewells… it was to be expecting, given that she’d taken to mothering monsters. A necessary price to pay to breed some good into the Heartless. Yet she yearned nonetheless.

After her child left to make its own fortune, Aqua was left directionless—and, as had become her custom, she took to wandering the Realm, following the compass of her heart.

Her journeys took her to a massive, crumbling ruin. She gaped at the sight of it. It was an ancient, colossal structure, bigger even than the Castle of Dreams or the fortress that laid at the heart of Radiant Garden. Whatever world had yielded this treasure was surely swallowed by the darkness, yet it had been grand and great indeed.

What manner of creature might she expect to find in there?

Stepping inside, Aqua found herself in a narrow maze of passageways. The walls showed hints of adornment, though any etchings or carvings were long since worn into unreadability, and the air was musty and heavy with ages.

A few lesser Heartless came at her and were swiftly dispatched. Aqua scattered them contemptuously with a vortex of fire and air magic, and easily rendered a larger beast into inanimate darkness. Well, if this citadel had no kind Heartless to breed with, so be it. She could also readily serve as exterminator.

Aqua carved her way through the halls, dodging traps and tearing through hordes of Shadows and Hook Bats by the dozens. Finally, she made her way to the top of the ruin.

The chamber was massive, at least a hundred feet across and with a domed ceiling reaching at least as high. The ceiling was crumbled in places, the stones lying half-suspended in the air (for even gravity was often at odds in the Realm of Darkness). A metal statue of an old knight, half-rusted over yet still proud and regal, loomed at the far end of the room. It was at least twenty feet tall.

Perched on top of the statue was a Heartless the likes of which Aqua had never seen before. The creature was vaguely humanoid in shape, though with both batlike and reptilian features. Its eyes gleamed pale yellow, the same as most Heartless, over a jagged, toothy maw. It was one of those species Aqua had seen with sapient accoutrements; in this case, a simple yet well-made suit of armor, complete with a half-helm on top. The creature’s wings—mostly chiropteran, yet spiraling in ways that should have made flight impossible—curled from its shoulderblades. The knuckles of its suit were spiked, and it was examining a simple saber with interest.

When Aqua stepped into the chamber, the Heartless stopped and glanced at her. She had her Keyblade drawn, light beading at the tip, but pointed at the ground. Meeting her eyes, the Heartless wordlessly flapped its massive wings and lifted off of the statue, touching down on the floor beyond. It raised its saber to her, a gesture simultaneously salute and challenge.

The act took the Keyblade Master aback. She’d seen Heartless with blades, spears, and even guns, but this was the first time she’d seen one attempt to engage in a duel. The weapon-wielding ones were usually just as brainlessly belligerent as their kith.

Intrigued and impressed, Aqua raised her Keyblade in response, returning the salute—and then the fight was on.

The creature left off the ground in an acrobatic, spiraling leap. (For its skillfulness in the air, Aqua would name it the Artful Flyer.) Then, with blinding speed, it dove towards her.

Aqua waited until it was on her, then she cartwheeled back, missing its blow by inches. She wreathed herself in flame as she did so, transforming herself into a blazing wheel, and the fire drove back the Heartless. She followed up by launching the orb of light from her Keyblade, but the Artful Flyer ducked aside; the spell rocketed past, smashing into the dome and punching a new hole into the wall.

Unleashing more magic with a cry, Aqua sent tongues of flame rocketing towards the Artful Flyer, but the Heartless ducked behind the floating rubble, the flames singeing harmlessly against the stones. It then shot out from under the stones, rocketing across the floor to unleash a furious fusillade of one-two blows against her. Aqua parried each swipe of the monster’s saber, the vibrations of metal-on-metal ringing up her arm, and then caught the creature with a kick followed closely by a swipe.

The slash of her Keyblade sent the Heartless tumbling away and she dashed after it only to be blown back as the Heartless sent a plume of wind magic directly at her. She was knocked back and only narrowly dodged aside, missing a second blow from the Heartless.

So it has magic, too… she thought. Well, two can play at that game. As the Heartless readied another cast, she directed her will into the air above it and sent a simple Thunder spell crashing down. The flying swordsman was jolted out of its attack, and it barely managed to parry an incoming slash from Aqua before its great wings lifted it high into the air.

Grinning, Aqua launched herself up with Aero magic and clashed blades with it again. What followed was a slew of aerial combat that was more a dance than anything.

The Heartless swooped through the air, saber flashing, and Aqua met its blow only to freefall dozens of feet to dodge. Another Aero spell sent her rocketing sideways and she landed against the floating rubble, bracing herself momentarily before kicking off to slam into the Artful Flyer. The Heartless took her blow and added her momentum to its own, the two of them tumbling over each other in the air and trading blows. Aqua finally landed on the floor, the Flyer a few dozen feet above her, and she shot out a Firaga spell. The swordsman countered with a wind spell of its own; the magics clashed, erupting in a typhoon of heated air. The blinding explosion made Aqua cover her face and she took a blow from the creature’s blade. It skimmed her armor, thankfully avoiding breaking the skin, but she would have a bruise there for certain.

The creature feinted left, then right, then made as if to shoot a spell before diving straight at her, sword outstretched. But this time, Aqua was ready. At the last moment, she unleashed her Magic Hour spell, summoning a lance of light directly where she was standing, then teleporting out of the way. The Heartless crashed into the newly-empty space, held in place by the light, before Aqua rematerialized directly overhead. She sent it reeling with a plunging blow, then knocked it into the air…

And then came the finale.

Aqua summoned all her power and cast an Aeroga spell centered on the Flyer. The false tornado whipped the Heartless around and around, but it also drew in the floating rubble, sucking it in like a black hole. A massive boom surged through the chamber and as the spell died, the colliding rubble plummeted earthwards, as did the Heartless itself. It struggled to its feet, leveled a gaze at her, and then planted its sword pointfirst—a sign of submission and defeat.

Aqua found herself grinning broadly. It had been a while since she’d had a proper swordfight, and this was a fun diversion, especially given the Heartless’s unforeseen gentlemanliness and honor. Perhaps it had been a knight or some other oathbound, martial type before having its heart stolen and corrupted? Not all Heartless were born of wombs…

The thought of wombs made her think. This was a talented beast more interested in sport that cruelty, and one that had engaged her in a fair duel. She couldn’t imagine a more worthy sire.

“To the victor go the spoils,” she murmured. The Heartless cocked its head. Spoils? But what could it have that she would want?

Aqua simply let her clothes drop to the floor and the Flyer seemed instantly recognize what she was getting at.

“Ahng! Ggnah!”

Aqua’s pleased voice broke through the air, stabbing out with every pleasurable thrust the Artful Flyer gave to her. The knightly Heartless had cast aside its saber, and had even shucked off parts of its lower armor. What was left was an appealingly animalistic form in the vague shape of a humanoid, with both batlike qualities and even hints of draconic ones, scales and patchwork fur commingling atop purple-dark skin. The Flyer’s equipment was tamer, comparatively, to the types she had encountered elsewhere in the Realm of Darkness; more humanlike, albeit of a size that only the largest of humans could have matched.

Of course, Aqua was far from picky—her most recent paramours had been amorphous, like the Possessor and the Cloudy Sunrises, or a female using her to incubate offspring. And while those were fun, it was nice to get a good old-fashioned cock inside of her again.

But though the Artful Flyer’s package was relatively mundane, the situation was anything but. After the two of them had both readied themselves, the Artful Flyer had surprised Aqua by grabbing her tightly and then, with massive flaps of its wings, lifting her up into the air. The Heartless pressed her against the wall of the dome, clawed hands on her wrists, and had lined up its cock with her entrance.

Now Aqua was being taken over and over again high in the citadel, with a fall of dozens of feet waiting her, and the thrill of it all exhilarated her.

Cooing around one particularly stroking thrust, Aqua wrapped her legs around the Artful Flyer’s body, pulling it closer and inviting it to stay inside of her. With her wrists pinned and her lower body occupied by the beast’s penis, that was the most she could afford to do; not that she minded, terribly.

“That’s right,” she whispered, her voice staticky from the pleasure of getting fucked. “I beat you but now, it’s your turn… show me just what you can do… we’re up high in the air, and I could fall without you. I’m vulnerable, I’m yours… just fuck me already…”

With a confident snort, the aerial knight did just that. Aqua squealed in delight as its rod hammered in, making her shake and tremble from it all. She clenched tight around it, the pressure making her slump and gasp, her faced flushed, just as the Heartless tensed, a guttural sound rumbling through it. It bucked again, pressing her between its own bulk and the unyielding wall of stone behind her, and she groaned from the pressure, loving every breath of it.

Before long, the creature’s grip on her wrists tightened, and its thrusts become more and more erratic. Finally, its grip became like iron around her, and it slid inside of her and held. The by-now familiar hot flush of seed splashing inside of her soon followed.

“Nnghah! Ahhhn!” Her voice broke over the chamber as her own orgasm came.

The two of them each in that blissful post-sex state, the Artful Flyer gently slid out of her and then pulled her earthward, releasing her once she touched ground. Aqua slumped over sleepily, observing that her wrist bore an angry red handprint from the Heartless that would likely remain for a few days. She didn’t mind. It was like a private mark.

The Heartless touched down behind her and then Aqua grunted in surprise as it nuzzled up to her, cuddling her in post-sex aftercare. Well, this was unexpected… but not unwanted. She blinked herself to sleep in its presence.

The following morning, she dressed and said her farewells. The creature watched her go. She didn’t mind; it would stay here, guarding the citadel and challenging any worthy opponents it saw. Its place was here.

And besides, Aqua thought, cradling her stomach as she took her leave, you won’t be solitary for too much longer, will you, Aqua?
