Chapter 3: Entomophobia In Canada

Leonikuz looked at me with unsure eyes "Are you sure you wanna do this Gurin, because once its done, its done." I gave him a nervous glare "Yeah I'm sure about this. I just get so tired of the same old thing everyday ,so I think I need to switch it up." I leaned my head back into the sink full of warm water and we began the procedure. It took about thirty minutes but when we finished I was extremely pleased with the results. Leonikuz and I walked out of the bathroom and into the lounge area. I stood in front of Kori and waited for him to look up. He was on the couch reading the newspaper so it took him a little while to notice me. When the white tiger finally decided to look up I could see him gawk and I blushed a little. He looked at me and smiled "Gurin you look..........sexy" I blushed a little more "Do you really think so Kori. I just got so tired of my black hair, so I had to do something about it." Kori stood up and gave me a quick smooch "Well......green definitely fits you perfectly my little bat, I really like it, and I see you didn't put your hair in that ponytail today. I think I like it better when you wear it down" I couldn't help but smile as he sat back down on the sofa. When he sat down his lap looked so inviting I had to take a seat. When I sat down in his lap he kissed on the forehead and smiled warmly "Are ya comfy" I leaned back and settled myself down "Now I am." We snuggled as we read the morning paper together. Shini & Leonikuz were on the other side of the lounge on the love seat doing the same, but watching TV ,and Tsuki & Taiyo were in their room doing who knows what.

As soon as me and Kori were about to start making out the red alert went off and we jumped up and started to rush towards Potaru's room for the briefing. While we were making our mad dash for the briefing room we slammed into Taiyo & Tsuki coming out of their room. We all hit the floor with a loud thud and sat there for a minute. I noticed Taiyo & Tsuki were a tad sweaty and I could probably guess what they had been up to. We all got up and laughed then headed towards the briefing room again. When we finally made it there we saw Potaru the Leopard in his usual white chair with his feet on the desk. He looked way too relaxed to be under red alert. We stood there for a few minutes and caught our breath. Shini was the first to catch his breath so he asked the question we all wanted to "Well Potaru what's our mission for today?" Potaru just grinned "Well the mission today is very very very important" We all leaned in closer so we could hear. "You guys are going to have to focus all your power to accomplish your mission." I could see Taiyo face start to twist in anger "Will you just freaking tell us already." Potaru suddenly stood straight up from his chair " YOU ALL HAVE THE DAY OFF" I think I could of died from the disappointment "Is that what you called us in here for. Just to tell us we had the day off. You didn't have to wind us up like that you purple jerk." He just laughed and started to open a drawer on the left side of his desk "No ,Gurin, that isn't all I called you in here for. I also wanted you to know we're currently over The British Colombian providence of Canada and we will be landing there shortly to stay there for a little while. The organization gives all its agent credit cards to buy what they need or want and I have to issue them out to everyone. Whatever you buy will be charged to the organization's bill and paid for." He issued us each a credit card and dismissed us. I could see Leonikuz's eyes light up as we walked towards our rooms "I am going to do some serious damage with this bad boy." I nodded my head in agreement "Me too I can't wait to land. I have to get dressed quick."

Everyone dashed for their rooms to get dressed before we landed. I put on a pair of faded blue jeans, a shirt with a light blue and green argyle pattern ,and a light blue jacket with green stripes going down the sides of the sleeves. I wanted to show off my new hair color so I didn't put my hair into the usual ponytail. Kori put on a pair of light colored jeans with tatters. His shirt was black with a white cherry blossom in the middle and he put on his white jacket with skulls and vines on it. I grabbed my white scarf, draped it around my neck, and we headed to the lounge to wait for the others. Leonikuz & Shini were the first to come out. Leonikuz was wearing a regular pair of blue jeans and a tan long sleeve polo shirt to match his black vest. He had on a black fedora with a tan stripe going around it and a black jacket with an L on the zipper. Shini had on a pair of white paints with silver chains going back and forth across middle, a red shirt with black flowers all over it and a black jacket with two red horizontal stripes going around the middle. We sat there and chatted for a few minutes until Tsuki and Taiyo came into the lounge. When they walked in all I could do was smile and shake my head. Taiyo ,the white fox, was wearing black jeans with white paint splatters and a white pullover & Tsuki , the black fox, was wearing white jeans with black paint splatters and a black pull over.

After all of us were finally in the lounge room we started to land. I fell from the impact of the plane hitting the ground and Kori quickly helped me up. As he was helping me up I could tell the light bulb in his head was going off "You falling just reminded me of someone." I rubbed my butt after he helped me up "Who did my pain and suffering remind you of Kori?" He just laughed "It reminded me of Michi." When I finally got over my pain stricken bottom I realized who he was talking about "Kori I just remembered that she came here to go to collage we should pay her a visit." Leonikuz grabbed my shoulder and started to shake me "WHO ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT, ITS NOT NICE TO KEEP SECRETS" I regained my balance and shook him back "WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MY SISTER" I heard a simultaneous "What?" from everyone else in the room. Shini seem more surprised than anyone "You seem like more of the only child type to me." I walked up close to him and nudged him a little "What is that suppose to mean hmmm." He started to explain himself but before he could get a word out the intercom came on and Potaru requested we go to the exit door on the left side of the lounge. We did as he said and talked over to the exit and down the stairs.

I had already knew it was going to be cold but I didn't expect there to be snow on the ground and to my surprise it was starting to snow as we walked out. As we were descending the stairs a hatch on the bottom of the plane open and I could see my green mini-cooper lowering from the cargo bay. It was accompanied by a huge white two seating truck and a black Kawasaki motorcycle (you can guess who they belonged to).As we were walking towards our vehicles Tsuki stuck his paw out and grabbed Leonikuz "Hey Leo you wanna ride on the motorcycle with me" I could already see Leonikuz shivering "No way Tsuki I'm already freezing. I don't see how you're even riding that thing ,it is way too cold out here. Wouldn't the tires just slide off the icy roads anyway?" Tsuki looked like he was about to go into his lecturing mode and he did "Well actually my little Leo the organization came up with a rubber that sticks to any surface. They equip every vehicle owed by an agent with it. So there is absolutely no chance of me slipping off the road" I whistled loudly to get everyone's attention. If I didn't I had a feeling we would spend the whole day standing out here "Do you guys wanna go visit my sister before we go shopping. Tsuki hopped onto his motorcycle and Taiyo climbed into his truck. Leonikuz ran over and hopped in the backseat of the cooper. Shini got in the back with Leo ,and Kori got into the passenger seat. I just shook my head "I guess that qualifies as a yes"

I started the car and turned on the heater. I could hear a sigh of relief from Leonikuz in the back seat. Kori looked at me and arched his eyebrows "Do you know how to get to your sisters collage from here? Or do you want me to drive?" He started to open the door to come over to the drives side but I locked it. I looked at his disappointed face "Kori I was the one who came up here with my sister the first time remember. Sheesh sometimes I think you just bout me this cooper so you can drive it." He just gave me a goofy smile as we pulled off of the cargo platform and onto the near by road. Potaru had landed us on a stretch of land far off from the city but next to a road so we didn't have to off road. While we were riding we made idle chitchat and watched the scenery go by. Its was really strange to see this much snow on the ground this early in the fall , and it didn't seem right to me ,but I just let the feeling pass. I could see Leonikuz snuggling up to is big red ocelot to keep warm and I could tell Shini enjoyed snuggling with his little lion. Kori leaned over to put his head on my shoulder and we all contently drove through the country side. When we finally made it to the city it was a beautiful thing to behold. The city looked beautiful draped in snow. The streets were kinda busy but the snow made the whole scene serine and charming. When we finally pulled up into the collage parking lot I realized that I had completely forgotten which dorm room Michi was in. I leaned over to Kori with a goofy smile on my face" Do you remember which dorm she was in?" Kori rolled his eyes " Don't you remember she picked dorm 1008 so you would remember." I smiled "Oh yeah thanks hum." We all got out of (and off) our vehicles and headed for the dorms.

We wandered around the campus for about ten minutes just trying to find the right building and due to every thing being covered in a thick blanket of snow it was the ten most agonizing minutes of my life. When we finally found the building her dorm should be in we hurried inside from the cold. We knocked the snow off our shoes & clothes and then headed towards a panel with the name of all the residents of the building on it. The panel listed the room number, name of resident ,and floor. I turned out Michi's room was on the third floor. We all headed to the elevator but to our disappointment it was out if order. We had to climb three flights of stair and on top of that it was very warm in the building. By the time we reached the Third floor everyone was out of their jackets. We walked up to the room labeled 1008 and I knocked on the door as hard as I could. I heard some fumbling around and then some one said "It doesn't care how hard you knock. I am not coming any faster. The only thing your doing is hurting your paw ,and putting a dent in my door."

When the door finally opened we saw a giant 6'1 black wolf. The tip of her tail ,a small triangle of fur above her nose and the tips of her ears were a light purple. Her eyes where a chilly blue that compared to the weather out side. She was very slender but her boobs and hips were what would be described as perfect. She was wearing short shorts and a purple pullover with a black star in the middle. I could see everyone behind me trying to look behind the giant black & purple wolf for my sister. Taiyo stepped up to the wolf " I'm sorry to bother you but is Michi in we're looking for her." The black and purple wolf laughed and gave me a big hug "Your looking at her short stuff". Everyone's mouth dropped open while Kori , Michi ,and I just giggled. I could see Tsuki's amazed face "Uh....... Its very nice to meet you ,but are you seriously Gurin's sister." Michi and I leaned on each other, smiled, and spoke in unison "Can't you see the family resemblance." I could see Kori rolling his eyes "They did that the first time I met her." Instead of me starting the explanation she did "Yes, I am Gurin's older sister. Our parents adopted me before they had Gurin because they didn't think mom was going to be able to have children due to an illness she had earlier in her life." I heard a simultaneous "Oh" from every one and Michi continued to speak "I know you guys are tired because the elevator is out of order so why don't you come into my humble abode." Michi stepped back and motioned for us to come into her dorm.

The inside of the dorm was very large. Everything in her room was snow white except for the walls that were a black and white checkerboard pattern. There was a giant sectional sofa against the left wall and a comfortable looking love seat in the corner on the other side of the sectional . She took a seat on her bed near the window, Kori sat on the love seat, I sat in his lap and everyone else took a seat on the sectional. Michi smiled at me "So brother of mine what brings you to Canada on this oddly frosty evening?" I had to think up a lie quickly. I looked around her room and saw a calendar with today's date circled "Well today is a special day isn't it?" I was hoping she would fill in the holes in my lie and to my relief she did "Oh Gurin, I cant believe you remember that I graduate today!" she ran over and gave me a hug "Mom said they wouldn't be able to make it because they were snowed in. That strikes me as odd that its snowing this hard just about every where. But what's stranger is that you are here and they aren't do you care to explain yourself?" I thought she had caught me be she jumped off the subject. She arched her eyebrows and smiled deviously at me "Is your seat warm?" I have to admit I was a tad confused "Well yeah my seat is Oka.........." Damn, I had gotten so use to sitting in Kori's lap over the past few weeks that it just came naturally just to sit there. I couldn't help but blush and I could see bright red showing thought Kori's white fur. Michi just smiled "I was wondering when you were finally going to tell him that you liked him." I blushed a little harder "Well actually he told me" I could see Kori blushing a tad harder too. Michi just grinned and took a seat in the empty space beside us. "Well either way I always knew you guys would end up dating and I have to say you guys do make quite a cut couple." Both me and Kori blushed and Michi just giggled "I also see you dyed your hair to match your eyes. It really fits you very well." I smiled "Thanks Michi" She looked around at all the faces "So Gurin are you going to introduce me to your gang?" I had forgotten to introduce every one "Well here we go then. The black fox is Tsuki, the white one is Taiyo, the ocelot is Shinigama also know as Shini, and The Lion is Leonikuz or Leo which ever you prefer. And just so were all clear ,everyone this is my sister Michi" She smiled, stood up and bowed "Its very nice to meet you all"

After we got all the formalities out of the way we started to chat. Everyone got to know Michi a little better and every one seemed to hit it off with her. Michi got off the couch and went over to the clock beside her bed to check the time "So you guys the graduation ceremony isn't until Five o'clock and its only Eleven so do you guy wanna do something?" My brain lit up with a brilliant idea "Well first of all you have to put on some pants before we go out" A look of pure excitement popped onto Michi's face "Where are we going." I smirked at the thought of Potaru regretting giving me this card "Well Michi since you ARE graduating today I have decided to take you on a shopping spree. If it's okay with you that is." The high pitch squeal coming from Michi could of broken glass "Heck yeah that's okay with me. I'll go put on some pants and a better jacket" She quickly ran to her closet ,pulled some clothes out ,and ran into the bathroom. When she came back out she had on a pair of black jeans and ,a purple jacket with black stars in the all over it that she had only half zipped so you could see her black shirt with purple stars all over it. She grabbed her cell phone off the night stand beside her bed and we headed out. As we slowly descended down the stairs we made conversation. As we were walking down Michi tapped me on the shoulder " Happy late birthday" she pulled a dollar out of her pocket and gave it to me. The only thing I could do is grin and as soon as we made it down the stairs I gave her a big hug. As we came out of the building we all could tell that the temperature had taken a sharp dive since we were inside. It was also starting to snow a little harder but I wasn't anything to serious. I grabbed Michi arm and we all ran towards the parking lot and hopped into our vehicles. Me & Kori were in the front of my coop and Leo ,Shini ,& Michi in the back. I could see the confusion in Michi's face as she realized what we had hopped into. "Gurin when did you get this car" Kori quickly answered her "I bought it for him for his birthday" I could see Michi's surprise as he told her that "Well Kori I AM graduating today so how about you get me a new cart too"

We all just laughed as I started the car to let the engine warm up. As I waited for the car to warm up I noticed Leo looking out of the window with a concerned look on his face, he was staring at Tsuki "Well what is he going to do now. I know his bike won't slide off the road but what about the snow?" As if cued by Leo's statement Taiyo got out of his truck and let the back gate down. A platform lowered from the back of the truck and Tsuki parked his bike on it. The platform lifted Tsuki's bike onto the back of Taiyo's truck, they closed the gate ,and they both hopped into Taiyo's truck. After that matter was settled we headed back towards the city. Since it was Michi's shopping spree she picked the first store out. It was on a back road in the downtown part of the city. The store seemed underground because I could barely tell it was a store. The only thing about the place that made it remotely seem like it might sale clothes was the sign over the building that said "Pitch Black". When we walked in I noticed the store specialized in gothic and alternative appeal. I was in heaven and so was Michi. We all wander around the store finding interesting things here and there. I saw Leo pick up a silver ring with a strange grey eight sided stone in the center. As soon as he slipped it on it turned a bright gold color. Leo's face lit up. Shini knew what that meant so he grabbed Leo's paw and they went to the register to pay for it. Tsuki & Taiyo both picked up necklaces. Both necklaces were made of thick black nylon string ,but Tsuki's had a glimmering full moon hanging off of it and Taiyo's had a shining sun. They joined Shini and Leo at the register and they all paid for their finds.

Mean while Michi, Kori, and I were looking at the collars in the very back of the store. All of a sudden we heard a loud "Ahem". We all spun around simultaneously to see who it was. It was a large red and black wolf staring menacingly at Michi. He was around 6'3 and was wearing all black. He was sporting an evil smirk. "Well Hello there Micho" I could Michi wasn't too happy about him being there "That's not my name you idiot and you know it" He just smirked while I ,on the other hand, was as confused as could be "Hey Michi who is this jerk anyway." She cringed slightly "Well this jerk is.....well....was.....my boyfriend." I was shocked "This jerk.....standing in front of us.....was.....your boyfriend" She nodded "Yeah when we first started dating he wasn't like this he was sweet and caring. Then he just changed all of a sudden into this jerk and I had to brake up with him" We heard another loud "Ahem" and we turned around to see the black and red wolf still there "I'm standing right here ya know" Michi smirked "I know your still here. It's just that no one likes to listen to trash when it talks ,much less look at it" I laughed at her clever remark but he flipped out when she said it. He was so angry he tried to punch her in the face. She caught his fist and twisted it until I heard a loud cracking sound. The black wolf howled in pain and fell to the floor yelling various profanities. Michi looked to the left and picked up a light blue collar with a purple heart hanging about three inches below it. "Gurin what do you think?" Kori and I leaned in closer to get a better look at the collar. Kori nodded his head in agreement "It would fit your fur color perfectly, you should get it." As we were looking at the collar one of the stores employees , a small female gazelle, ran over "I heard a loud howl ,is everyone over here okay" Michi just smiled kindly "Well while we were looking at your collar's this guy ran by and tried to snatch this collar out of my hand. He was running so fast he didn't notice the edge of the display sticking out and he tripped over it and landed on his arm. I think he broke it ,you should call him an ambulance." As the gazelle ran over to the phone to dial the hospitals number the black wolf got up off the floor and started to yell various profanities at Michi. She turned to him and grabbed the paw he was using to hold the one she had broken "If you keep this up you aren't going to be able to sign your hospital papers when you get there" He jerked his paw out if her hand and walked to the store front to wait for the ambulance.

When the ambulance finally did arrive Michi smiled and waved at the black and red wolf "I hope your paw gets better but you really shouldn't be running in stores anyway." I could see the black wolf flip her off as he was escorted to the ambulance. I just laughed and tuned to Michi "It's nice to see you haven't changed any" She just smiled and went back to shopping. She picked up a black cocktail dress, a matching black necklace with a blue rose as the centerpiece ,and a pair of black high heels to match. We headed for the check out desk and I paid for her things. As we walked out to the car I tapped Michi on her shoulder "Hey why didn't that guy tell them that you broke his arm?" She just shrugged her shoulders "Who knows, my guess is that it would have hurt his pride to tell them he got beat up by his ex-girlfriend." I nodded my head in agreement, started the car ,and we were off again. The rest of the day was what could only be described as a montage of shopping. We went from store to store picking out ,clothes ,shoes ,and etcetera. It was around 4:20 and Michi asked us to go to one more store before we took her back to her dorm to get ready for the ceremony. We followed her directions and ended up at a tattoo and ,apparently, piercing parlor. Every one in my car tuned and looked at Michi. She just shrugged and smiled "I promised myself that before I graduate I would get my belly pierced" I Kori smiled "I remember that, you told us that when you were in middle school" she just shrugged again "Well it doesn't hurt to plan things out" We all hopped out of the car and headed inside that parlor.

The building was bigger inside than it looked on the out side. It had at about 7 rooms and each room had posters of heavy metal rock bands plastered all over the walls. There was also a shop on the other side of the parlor that sold earrings and any other accessory you would ever need. After we surveyed the place we started to pay attention to who was in there, we could see various tough looking fur's getting and giving tattoo's. As we were looking around in awe a giant silver 7 or 8 foot mountain lion walked up too us. His name tag said "Rhyan". He held a solemn look on his face as he looked our group over. Then all of a sudden he started to smile and grabbed Michi off her feet & gave her a huge hug. She just giggled and enjoyed the squishing "Hello O'Rhyan I didn't realize it had been that long since you had seen me last. He flashed that dazzling smile again and let Michi down and spoke in a smooth slow tone "It's been 1 month since you've been in here and didn't I tell you to call me Rhyan. Anyway you must be in here to get that notorious belly ring" Michi smiled widely "Yep I'm so excited" He looked at me and grinned " This must be your brother Gurin. He looks exactly like you described him but a tad taller." I gave him a pleasant hello and then he grabbed Michi's hand and headed towards one of the rooms on the right side of the building "I already have a room ready for ya" As they headed off to start their procedure I asked Michi if she wanted me to come back with here. She just shook her head "No I'm fine ,me and Rhyan have some catching up to do." They went into the room but they left the door open. Since we were going to be here for a little while we all started to look at the interesting merchandise they sold.

I could identify most of the jewelry in the cases like the gauges and tongue rings but some of the stuff looked like things aliens would probe you with it if you were abducted. Suddenly I heard Kori calling my name so I headed over to where he was to see what he wanted. He was in front of a glass case looking at the earrings (The kind that clips around the edges of your ears). There were several colors in the case and I spotted a green one & a blue one. We called over a large brown bear that worked there to get them out of the case for us. Kori gave him his card to pay for them. The bear swiped it and gave it back. The bear got them out and handed them over. I noticed when I opened up the clip to put it on my ear it had a small needle inside to hold it on your ear. The bear just smirked and spoke in a raspy but kind voice "Oh yeah, I forgot you have to get your ears priced to wear those now. The original kind that just clipped on your ear was giving people trouble because after a while they would stretch and fall off ,so we recently started to only carry this kind. They last much longer and they don't loose their shape ,because instead of having to hang on to your ear its stuck in there. It still looks just like the original clip but its much more durable" I looked a Kori and gave him the biggest begging eyes I could. He just frowned and gazed at the earring in his hand. I had know Kori for just about all my life and the only thing I knew him to be afraid of was needles.

At that moment Michi walked out with Rhyan and stood next to me. She lifted her shirt up "How does it look?" The belly ring she picked out was light purple with a black smiley face inside sticking his tongue out. I just laughed "I love it. It fits you to a T " She smiled and then turned to show it to Kori ,but he was still staring at the earring in his hand. Michi turned back to me still holding her shirt up "What's wrong with Kori. I grabbed her shirt and put it down "He bought us these earring and we love them but we have to get our ears pierced to wear them" Kori turned to Michi "You know how I feel about needles. Their so.....pointy and...pokey" I just giggled "Big bad Ice Kitty is afraid of needles" He just rolled his eyes and reaffixed his gaze back to the earring in his hand. Leo walked up behind him and jumped on his back "Its okay Kori I will hold your hand." I just giggled "I will too ,and if it helps I will go first." Kori nodded his head yes and we headed into the same room Michi had been in. Rhyan and Leo followed close behind us and Michi Taiyo, & Tsuki stayed outside to look at the commodities.

I took my seat in the fancy black leather chair standing in the center of the room. This was the part I was afraid of. I gave Kori the green clip earring and Kori gave me the light blue one. I turned and looked at Rhyan slightly blushing " Um...would you put it near the top but close to the middle of my right ear?" He just snicker and nodded "I'll do that for ya little buddy" As he turned his head to get the piercing gun I noticed the florescent lights gleam off a silver earring Rhyan had in his right ear. I just blushed a little more and grabbed Kori's hand. I could see Kori smiling weakly. He was staring directly into my eyes. Most likely because he didn't want to see my ear getting pierced. Rhyan leaned down "You should only feel a slight pinching." Right after that I heard a low clicking sound and felt a small pinch on my ear. I gave Rhyan the earring and he put in on my ear. He gave me a mirror to take a look ,and I adored what I saw. He had put it in the perfect spot and it looked great. Now It was Kori's turn. I got up from the chair and he got in. I still had Kori's hand and Leo went to the opposite side and grabbed his other hand. Kori kept his gaze directly on my eyes and started to squeeze my hand a little as Rhyan leaned down to tell him the same thing he told me. I heard a faint clicking sound as Kori's grip tighten around my paw. When I looked up from my suffering paw I could see Kori had his eyes clinched shut. I felt kinda bad for making him do this so I sat in his lap "Hey Kori Its over" He slowly opened his eyes and I could tell he was relived it was over. Kori gave Rhyan the green clip earring, and Rhyan snapped it into place. Rhyan handed me the mirror and I held it in front of Kori. He smiled and then looked at the matching one in my ear "It was worth it" I just smiled and gave him a kiss. Leo leaned in "Don't for get me" He gave Kori a kiss and we all laughed.

Taiyo poked his head in the doorway "Um guys we have to get Michi to her dorm it's 4:45. I could hear Michi yelling "Oh My God" from the room. We all hoped up and ran towards our cars. As we ran out I yelled a thank you to Rhyan. He just smiled and waved "Anytime guys" We hopped into our vehicles and speeded toward the dorm so Michi could get ready. As we were driving I noticed it had snowed a ton since we were in the parlor ,luckily the snow plows were already on the job so we had no problem getting back to the dorms. We pulled up in the parking lot and helped Michi with her bags. I hadn't realized that I had bought her so much stuff until we had to haul all of it up the stairs. It was a tiring process but when we finally make we ran into the apartment and sat all the bags down on Michi's bed. She grabbed her clothes from the bags and ran into the bathroom to take a quick shower and change clothes. As she was doing that we turned on the TV beside her bed. It was on the weather channel when we turned it on and a rather short ferret was forecasting the weather. The weather ferret said that the weather was going to take a turn for the worse and they couldn't identify the source of the incoming blizzard on any of their radars. While Michi was showering I asked her where the graduation was going to be held. She came out of the bathroom with one earring on and the other in her mouth. She also had one high-heel on and the other in her hand "Its going to be held in the gym so the cold shouldn't bother us" I nodded my head as usual. She was wearing the black cocktail dress she had picked out with black high-heels and the blue rose necklace we had picked out to go with it. As we were about to head out Michi realized she had forgotten her black leather jacket and headed back into her room. We heard her scream and we all tuned around. She was just standing there in one place pointing at the window "Oh My God. Kill It Kill It Kill It" There was a giant centipede crawling across the window. Its body was white but its legs were a black that faded into red. From the first day I could remember Michi had been afraid of anything with more than four legs. Taiyo smashed it with his shoe and we headed out again. As we were headed down the stairs I had a thought "That bug shouldn't be anywhere to be found in this kind of weather ,and on top of that it was the size of my belt!!" Kori nodded his head "Yeah that was really weird wasn't it. We should keep our eyes pilled just in case"

When we stepped out side the snow had to have been at least 2 inches thicker then it was when we got out of the car. I could see a frown on Michi's face "How the heck am I suppose to get through all this snow in these stupid high-heels." I saw a smirk flash across Shini's face "I got you buddy ,and I'll help you out too honey" Just as he said that he grabbed up Michi & Leo and put them on his shoulders. Michi gave us the direction as we rushed towards the Gym. We had to weave through several building and crosswalks to make it there but we make it on time with 42 seconds to spare (well at least by my watch). Shini put Michi & Leo down and she ran to the back door of the gym to get in line ,and we headed for the front door to see if there were any seats left. When we walked in all the seats were taken so we had to stand up ,but it was worth it to see my sister. They dimmed the lights and the ceremony began. As usual the graduating class was introduced by the head master. Then the class walked in and took a seat in front of the stage. After all the students were seated they called the class valedictorian to do the traditional speech. To my surprised they called my sisters name and a spot light shone down on her as she made her way towards the stage. As she ascended up the stairs I could hear her class whistling and howling. (When she made it to the podium she proceeded to deliver a moving speech that I wont go into detail about.) When Michi finished her speech everyone clapped and whistled. When Michi stepped down from the podium and walked off stage to get back in her seat. When Michi reached her seat they started to call the students up to the stage to get their diplomas.

The first name called was Nomane Almen. As soon as that name was called I saw a familiar black and red coloration. He was wearing a tuxedo and a matching black cast for his broken paw. For some reason I couldn't help but snicker at the sight of him . It was the wolf from the store and he didn't look to happy to be graduating with a broken paw. He snatched his diploma from their head master and headed the wrong way, behind the stage. I suppose they didn't want to disrupt the ceremony so they just let him go back stage. They called about 49 other names before they make it to the important one. I listened for the name I had been waiting for "Michi Gankona" as she walked up to the stage her class and all of us clapped and cheered. As she was taking her diploma Nomane came from behind the curtain with a twisted smile on his muzzle "You might have made a fool of me at the shop in town ,but now you'll be the one made a fool of when I grind you into dust." I couldn't believe he was trying that again and at the graduation to make matters worse. But I was sure Michi could take care of it. That was until I noticed that Nomane's feet weren't touching the ground. At that moment I knew something was terribly wrong I yelled to the top of my lungs "MICHI MOVE!!". At that exact moment a black and red leg ripped across the top of the stage tearing the curtains down and revealed that attached to the back of Nomane's neck was a single antenna of a giant centipede. It had to be about the size of our plane. He looked exactly like the centipede we had killed in Michi's room. The entire crowd in the gym dumbstruck by the horrifying view in front of them. Before we knew it there was a stampede of furries headed towards the door.

Taiyo and Tsuki directed them towards the exit and made sure no one got hurt. Me, Kori, Shini, and Leo made our way to the stage to try to handle this huge problem. Shini's Blood scythe materialized into his hand and Kori made a long sword from ice. Leo's fur and Mane turned a dazzling white and his eyes turned the same icy blue as Michi 's and to my surprise the stone in the strange ring he had bought turned the same blue as his eyes. Michi was still standing in the same spot due to her Entomophobia. As Nomane lashed one of his legs at Michi, Kori grabbed. Nomane's attack missed and knocked a gaping whole in the wall beside the stage. The blizzard outside was raging but the sunlight still came thought the hole he had make. Leo stood in the light that was coming from the outside. His paws started to glow and at least 39 snow white senbons appeared in his paws (a senbons are ninja style throwing needles if you still don't know what it is just google it). I grabbed a nearby fern from a near by floral arrangement and used my power. The stem of the fern stretched until it was at least 5 feet long ,the leaves started to rotate rapidly and it began buzz like a saw but I rolled with it. Kori had placed Michi at the top of the bleacher so she would be safe. When he was sure she was okay he left her and joined us in the fight. He hopped straight up from the top of the bleacher and tired to separate Nomane's neck from the antenna with his long-sword. He succeeded but it quickly reattached to Nomane's body. Leo and Shini went straight for his front legs. Shini slashed away with his scythe and Leo's sanbons expanded as he threw them so they could cut off more than one leg at a time. Nomane's scream could be heard echoing through the gym.

By now all the furies had been evacuated ,so Taiyo and Tsuki hopped up to help. Taiyo went straight in with his shadow lash (A whip made from shadows). He sliced through as many of the centipede's thousands of legs as he could. As this was going on Tsuki leaned over to me "I told Potaru what was happening and I sent him a picture of that thing ,he said it was a Toshiro Makude. Its weak spot is his 495 leg if we cut that he will immediately die. This certain demon possesses furries that are full of hatred and can go undetected by our radars by acting as a parasite and using its host to conceal its presence . It also generates frigid weather because it cant live in high temperature climates and the bigger it get the larger area it affects." I gawked at the idea of even starting to count all those legs ,not to mention the ones we were cutting were regenerating "Well if we use a fire based attack should that do something to it. Tsuki frowned "I asked Potaru that too, but he said if it's affecting an area this big fire attacks wont do anything but annoy it." I smirked "Well there's only one thing to do then" Tsuki grinned too "And that would be?" I grabbed my buzzsaw staff and he materalized his shadow blunderbuss (A gun that shoots multiple poisons bullets) "Cut off as many legs as we can" We began to chop, shoot and slice at the legs of the giant insect. As we were fighting I looked up at Michi to see if she was still okay. I could see the freaked out look on her face but she was calming down. As I was looking a Michi one of Nomane's legs almost smash my face. Lucky for me Kori was looking out for me. He grabbed some of the snow off the gym floor that had blown from the outside and used his Nryoku on it to change its density. He tossed the hand full of snow at the monster and easily toppled the giant centipede over. When Nomane hit the wooden floor of the gym he shattered it into small pieces that few up and blinded every one. Nomane had a chance to penetrate the ground with his legs and catch all of us by our feet and stick us to the ground. I looked over at Kori with an angry look on my face and he just humped his shoulders "Sorry honey" Nomane slinked one of his legs around my neck and started to squeeze my throat. His claws were cold and my spine caught a chill as I struggled to breath through his sinister grip. I could hear and see everyone yelling at Nomane. Nomane leaned in close and licked my face with his Icy tongue "If I cant kill your sister I guess I will just have to settle with you"

As I held my head up to catch as much air as I could I saw black high-heels smack Nomane in the face. Michi jumped over the bar separating the gym floor from the bleachers. I could see the tears stream down her face and the pissed of expression she had on her face "You must be fucking insane if you think I am about to let you lay another finger on my brother or his friends" Nomane just smirked and used his tail to knock down the lighting fixtures above her. She jumped out of the way but the sparks from the lights set the chemical they used to polish the floor on fire. The fire caught the tale of her dress and she had to quickly rip it off to avoid being burned .She charged Nomane a full speed without any indication of fear on her face . As she ran towards the giant centipede she ran her hands along the ground. It seemed as if her hands were running through water. She dipped her hand down into the ground and when she brought them back up she had a long dagger with a purple hilt in one hand and a large round shield with celtic design & blades around the edges. She threw the shield and it cut the leg that was around my neck and feet. I grabbed my buzz saw staff and used it to free my feet and the others. Michi tossed her shield again and cut at least 76 legs off. I yelled to Michi "Its weak point is its 495 leg we will distract it if you think you can get it" She nodded her head yes. Kori, Taiyo, Tsuki, Shini ,and Leo started to cut as many legs a they could.

I stood beside Michi to keep Nomane's legs away from her. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. When she opened then they were a crimson red and had the same patter as a target. She quickly glanced at me "His 495 leg isn't even where its suppose to be. It's the tail ,he has been using his leg as a tail". We both bolted towards the end of the centipede Nomane was attached to. As we were running he grabbed my leg from behind and hung me upside down in the air. I used my buzz saw staff to cut his leg off at the joint. Michi caught me when I fell but the leg that feel with me continued to chase after us. Michi apparently had the power to control her shield after she threw it ,because she tossed it once and it flew back and forth chopping the leg into little bits. When we finally made it to his tail/leg he had it coiled up so it would be difficult to cut off. When Michi threw her shield to sever it the tail/leg dispersed into about 9 of the belt size centipede's we had seen in Michi's room. The smaller insects scattered across the gym. Her face twisted with anger "Hey you guys stop fighting him and go for the little centipedes on the floor!!" We all stared after the centipedes we saw on the ground. Leo killed 2 on his first try due to the long range of his sanbons , and I saw 3 burning due to the spreading fire on the floor. That left us with 4 to kill. Kori found the next one hiding in the curtains Nomane had knocked down. He picked up some snow, changed the density, dropped it on the centipede and crushed it. The next one was spotted on the ceiling and immediately shot down by Tsuki's guns poisonous bullets. Shini, Leo and Taiyo were busy cutting off as many legs as they could to distract Nomane ,but they spotted the last two. Leo waved his arms and pointed towards the stage "They're headed for the back stage area" I saw Michi nod and then she threw her dagger. The dagger cut through one of the centipede's but missed the other. I was rushing towards the stage to dice the last centipede ,but Michi stopped me. She snapped her claws and the dagger she had thrown blew up in a huge fiery explosion.

It must have obliterated the other centipede because after the explosion Nomane's body started to burst like balloons. The bursting resulted in a gross smelling goo flying everywhere. I frowned over at Kori after all Nomane's segments had burst "Does it always have to end with goo getting all over us?" He just humped his shoulders and smirked "I guess it isn't a demon if it doesn't explode in blots of goo." Michi looked at me with a confused face. "What are you guys talking about. Do you mean that thing was a demon? And how many time's have you guys done this." Shini walked over to Michi who was also covered in the goo "Well were doing the equivalent of a normal persons day job. We do this almost everyday and apparently demons completely ignore the fact that your having an off day. Leo just smiled "And it looks like you will be joining us in our "Day Job" if you want to. Our commander will fill you in on the details." Michi shrugged " I don't know about joining you but I will hear you guys out. But first I have to go get my high-heels or what's left of them anyway." As she was strolled toward her shoes we all heard a groaning and turned around in surprise. Under a giant pile of the foul smelling goo was Nomane. I could see Michi's eyes fill with rage as she ran over to him and repetitively kicked him in the stomach. He rolled over in pain as I grabbed Michi to stop her from killing him. I heard a plane landing out side and looked through the gaping hole in the wall. It was our plane and Potaru was descending the stairs. As he was stepping through the hole in the wall I noticed that the blizzard outside had completely subsided. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the sun was even shining. When Potaru saw Michi he grabbed her paw and kissed it. "I am Potaru this teams leader and who might this lovely lady be?" Michi giggled and smiled "For the greater good of furrys everywhere I will be helping you guys out from now on" I arched my eyebrows at Michi "You haven't even heard what he has to say and your already complying. Might I have something to do with your soft spot for anything purple" She just grinned "Maybe or maybe not we will see later on." She gave Potaru a wink and we all headed towards the plane.

As we were walking towards the plane Kori stopped "Hey Potaru what are we going to do with Nomane." When we looked over to Potaru and Michi he was kissing her on the cheek. I have him a loud "AHEM" and he gave an embarrassed smile and cleared his throat "We'll have him taken to our HQ to be examined. That specific type of demon will lay eggs in their host from time to time ,so he will have to go through a rigorous and extremely painful procedure of being examined for eggs." I could see the wicked smile spreading across Michi's face and I laughed. Tsuki tapped Potaru's shoulder "What about all the furs we escorted out of here?" Potaru just grinned "As they were coming out of the door we replaced their memory with a beautiful graduation ceremony and if we missed some who on earth would believe them about a giant centipede anyway?" I just nodded in agreement as we boarded the ship. As soon as we boarded we all headed for a long shower to get rid of the smell of the goo. As we were heading for our rooms I noticed Michi and Potaru headed in the same direction. I arched my eyebrow "Hey Michi where are you guys headed." She just stuck her tongue out "Well there aren't any rooms left on this plane so I will be rooming with this cutie" Potaru just smiled and pulled Michi into what I am going to assume to be their room from now on. The ships auto pilot took control and launched the plane for our next destination as we all took our showers and baths. When we were all finished with our cleaning regimen we met up in the lounge and explained things to Michi. When she finished ,actually, listening to the explanation she agreed to join us and that was that.
