Forest Furlough
Day 2 by ShadowFox_97_
Dawn
Victor opened his eyes groggily into the light shining through his windows and turned away to keep from being blinded. He felt as though he had been through a rough but pleasant dream and wished that was as real as he thought it was... until he could feel something warm on his side. He turned his head again, carefully squinting his eyes from the light and saw Chloe clinging to his arm with her face gently snuggled into his shoulder. He grinned, last night wasn't a dream and they had really become mates. He wasn't alone anymore.
Allowing a few more hours of sleep for the both of them, Victor had turned to Chloe and cradled his head into her bare breasts and breathed deeply of her scent while he drifted back to sleep. The black fleece blanket Chloe pulled over them just before they blacked out had been soft and almost unnoticeable, they were sure that they'd fallen asleep completely exposed. Chloe finally woke up when the sun started to shine its full strength into the bedroom and warmed everything in its gentle glow.
Being pressed to her lover through the night, Chloe could feel a light bit of dampness in her fur where she had been cuddled up to Victor. She loved him; she really did and lamented pushing him off of her to wander into their kitchen. She had work to do and she couldn't rightly do it holding Victor to her all day. She searched the kitchen and found some pots neatly packed into a cabinet, a box of some sort of wheat that was dressed with a powder that gave it many sweet flavors along with a few other things that she couldn't identify neatly stored in a pantry and a large white container that took up a portion of the kitchen.
The container seemed to have two doors, a handle on each with a grip that was made from leather, made almost entirely out of steel. She could tell because she could smell it. The container also had a hum like some sort of animal that seemed to come from the back. The most she could make of it was that it was some kind of magic tool that Victor used. Curious to learn its contents, Chloe opened the top door and was met with a cool and gentle breeze. She stepped back for a moment and watched as the mist settled to reveal a collection of vegetables and meats that seemed to all be in the middle of the early frost of winter. Chloe's jaw dropped and she closed the door with all of the hairs on the back of her tail standing on end. What had she just witnessed?
Gathering her wits and calming herself into an even greater curiosity, Chloe bent over the bottom door of the container and opened it. Inside there was more food, this time enough for several different meals. She could see cheese, sliced meat, fruits, fresh water, yellow rice in odd and hazy transparent containers, and eggs precariously placed within the shelves on the door of the container. "Eggs!" She said with indignation, grabbing them with careful hands. By now she had come to the conclusion that the container was some kind of enchanted cabinet that had cold winds blowing into it from distant mountain caps and that the low hum from the back of it was from the magic it had to work.
Braving the cold of the top door again, Chloe quickly searched and found some slices of bacon and got to work on breakfast. The stove was easy enough to work, despite it being enchanted with similar spells that were on the frost cabinet, and pulled together a classic meal. All that was missing was some buttered toast. Again, Chloe looked into the pantry and found some sliced bread that had been wrapped in more strange material. His voice called to her from the bedroom door in a half yawn "I see you've found your way through my fridge." She turned and saw Victor smiling at her with his and curled lightly over his chest with a red robe covering most of him. "Victor! I... I thought I could get breakfast made before you woke up." She smiled at him and he smiled back as he sauntered into the kitchen and took a seat right across from her at the dining table.
"You really should shut off the stove, if you leave it on too long it might catch fire." Chloe immediately dropped her smile and looked at the unused stove which was still glowing with a red flame. She dashed over to it and turned one of the knobs one way and then the other when the flames grew stronger. It was off in seconds. "I... Um..." Victor laughed and pulled her plate next to his. "Sit down, you look like you need some explaining for some of the stuff in here."
Chloe returned to him and sat down in front of her plate rubbing her paws together shyly until Victor spoke. "The big white thing over there is called a refrigerator and the thing you just shut off is called a stove. I got them both off of a human trading ship that passed by." He pointed to the devices respectively, the fridge being that "magic container" Chloe was messing with before. "So... Its human magic?" she asked innocently "No, it's something that the humans called 'technology'. I had a hard time getting them to work at first around here but... "He smiled at her and snapped his fingers, lighting a spark in his hand.
Chloe was smiling at him again and started eating, Victor just watched. It wasn't until she was half done and looking at him curiously that he had started eating from his own plate. "So," she said with a mouth full of scrambled eggs, "What should we start calling each other? By now we should be using pet names..."
"Pet names? Why can't I just call you Chloe?"
"I want you to know that I love you all the time... A cute pet name would do just the trick and to be honest, I feel a little hollow calling you Victor all the time, Victor." He laughed and pressed his index and middle fingers to his temple. "Can you think of a pet name for me? Cuz all I can think up for you is 'baby' and that's pretty cliché." Chloe tilted her head for a moment, trying to think of something while her mate looked at her with his cheeky smile. "What would YOU like to be called?" she said finally crossing her arms over her bare breasts in a mother-scolding-child stare. Victor lost his smile and thought for a quick moment with an embarrassed look on his face. His jaw dropped open and what he said next surprised even him.
"Why not call me daddy?"
They stared at each other for a moment, the expression on Victor's face growing even more embarrassed and shy that now Chloe seemed like the dominant one of the two. "Seriously?" she said, her head sliding forward as though she was asking if he was stupid. Slowly, Victor nodded at her with an odd sort of smile creeping over his face. The idea wasn't completely weird to him. It seemed, somehow, very sexy. Chloe thought about herself and leaned back, lamely trying to hide her face. "Don't like it?" Victor asked, leaning forward and trying to get a better look at her.
"No, it's just that... You're actually a lot like my father..."
"Oh... Uh, he... He didn't-"
"No," she droned with a prediction of the question "he was alive until our pack turned against us. But he protected me a lot when I was little like you're trying to now." Victor blushed and smiled, his fangs showing between the black of his lips. "Well... I guess-"
"I like it."
"What!?"
"I said I like it. It suits you... Daddy." She put a sultry bit of emphasis on the last word as she leaned into him again, her paws resting on his thighs as she stared up into his eyes. Her silky hair flowed off of her left shoulder as she crawled onto him and smiled, licking her lips. Victor's heart started to pound wildly in his chest as his tail flailed about behind him. Is this gonna be a regular thing between us? He thought, imagining there would be times that he would be serious when he gave orders and then be pounced upon like prey whenever she was in the mood. Then he felt her warm hands caressing his cheeks and snapped back from his reverie.
She was in his lap with her legs tightly crossed around his waist, the heat of her sex pressed tightly to his waist as she peered down at him with her sultry blue eyes. His hands gripped at the sides of his seat as he felt the sensitive flesh of his member struggling underneath her. He thought he could hear the faint patter of drums in his ears when he realized that it was his heart keeping pace with the heat of the moment. "Momma's gonna make you scream..." A sexy, sinister smile spread over her lips as she said it, dragging out the "scream" as if he were in trouble.
A pleasant chill ran up and down his spine like fire on an oil-soaked rope. "...Hot damn..." he sighed, her breasts sliding onto his shoulders as she hopped in his lap, Her hips slowly landing on his twitching thing in torturous twists and wiggles as she soaked her breath with shuddering moans until the flesh was fully sheathed within her. Victor was wincing from her heat. "Comfy?" she chimed and before he could answer with a muffled grunt she said, "Good. I want my daddy to be nice and warm when he fills me up..." She started bouncing, short little jumps that ended in flapping noises that were quieted by their pelts.
Victor reached around and started to rub at her strong and slender back, his hands trying to get a grip on her as she slathered him in another coat of her juices. His heart pounded even louder as he tried to work up the strength to thrust into her. When she lifted up again, he waited for about a second and thrust into her as she came down. He started sucking on the short tuft of fur between her breasts when he did it and heard a satisfying gasp of pleasure when Chloe landed back on him. They did it again and again and again until the room started to feel like it was in the pit of a volcano.
And then they erupted.
Hearts stopped, breaths were still, hands were clenched to an iron grip, and pleasure- indescribable and blinding washed over them in a torrent that was stronger, if possible, than the night before. The chair they were sharing suddenly felt like the precarious perch atop a tree as they returned from that haze into the world around them. Chloe's hands were gripped tightly into Victor's fur as she arched her back into him, her breath quick and excited just seconds before she fell limp on top of him, sniffing at the dewdrops of sweat that were just beginning to leak from the edges of his fur. She was getting high off of him.
"Mmm... That was so good."
"How good?
"More refreshing than a night's sleep..."
"Almost sounds too good to be true."
"I know. It makes me want to go out and pick flowers." Her head twisted to the side as she started to lick at his neck. "That sounds like a plan... I think we should take a break for a while- I don't feel as 'refreshed' as you." Chloe whined, kissed him and got to her feet. "Don't worry, you enjoy the rest of your breakfast and I'll be back with a crown for my new king."
"Take your time," he says again. "I don't want this to be solely about the sex" She walks out, nodding reluctantly at the last part but still obeying. Victor was more energized than he was letting on and jumped to his feet. He wanted to use this energy to practice some complicated spells and she was just the catalyst that he had been looking for.
Victor had stolen away into a room that was hidden behind a wall in the bedroom. It was dome-like with the steps leading down into a shallow pool that surrounded a small platform in the center of the room. There was a circle of six runes on the platform that had a single important-looking one in the center, each rune had its own specific color. Victor walked through the pool to the rune-embossed platform and sat down on its center, whispering an old language to himself as the symbols lit up around him one by one. A keen smirk sparked on the edges of his mouth as he was filled with a refined control over the arcane forces, his senses sharpened to a deadly awareness... and it alerted him to something. Something large, organized, angry and it was headed in their direction.
Dressed in a tight-fitting blue blouse and a pair of spare trousers, Chloe was out in the meadow gathering flowers and thorns from its lush borders. She looked up every now and then, with a faint worry from her past life but shook off her fears. After a while she had enough to start with the project that she promised Victor and started to thread the flowers together. She was careful not to prick herself and pulled out thorns to pin down flowers on bare branches. It didn't look like much at first, but soon the little ring of brush in her hands began to look more and more like a crown. Dandelions and other yellow flowers encircled most of it to grant it a gold-look with a single rose on the front to compliment the rising point of the crown in an imitation of a ruby for the best regal look that she could muster.
Chloe smiled at her hard work and gave the inside of the crown a look to make sure that it wouldn't cut her beloved when he put it on. She saw a thorn. Reaching in to take care of it, she didn't realize that there was another that was hidden by one of the inlaid flowers and it cut her. She hissed with pain and drew her hand back, seeing that her fur was faintly stained with blood. "Great... Maybe I can get Victor to mend this." She was sure he could, that much was certain. But then the wind changed. A chill ran down Chloe's spine and she started to glance frantically at the edges of the meadow. She could feel something coming and she didn't want to face it alone. Covering her fresh cut she rushed back to the large rotted tree stump that lead down into their den, gripping the crown she made as she made her frantic sprint. Her hand was only inches from the lock when she was pulled back and tossed, only to be grabbed by a group of them. Their teeth were glistening pink from a recent kill, their eyes were sky blue yet empty with that predatory glare, and the scent of blood filled every breath that they exhaled. Chloe could barely stand the sight of her old pack but the deep brooding voice of her Alpha terrified her more than they ever could.
"So the bitch takes refuge... in a green dump like this. You really are worthless you know that? I mean, congrats for out running the pack for as long as you did but you're still gonna die." The bare paws of his feet ground up to her slowly as she scratched at his side through the ragged robes, smiling at her with his evil smile. His one good eye staring at her like she was a piece of meat while his scarred eye only twitched hideously under ragged and festering flesh. "You're not going to use me like the others?" she whispered, looking away from the torn wolf. He laughed. "Use you? Little hag, we're gonna kill you like we did the others... Those who disobey the pack will be fed to the pack!" he thudded his fist to his chest, "...Betrayers like you don't even deserve to be fucked! So says I!"
"SO SAY WE ALL!" Chimed the members of the pack.
"You and all of the other Omegas from our pack have endangered us, we barely have any food left, and you take refuge away from your family to spite MY ORDER only to die... BY MY ORDER. We'll have to break our treaty with the humans to stay alive and you're not going to fuck it up by feeding the pack with your traitor cubs. We'll kill and eat you here and let that be the end of it."
During the speech, Chloe slowly became more and more wide-eyed until she started to tear up. The beasts were stronger, faster and made far too brutal for her to fight against by their alpha... The hopelessness of the situation just grew until it practically suffocated her. "Get her hair. I don't want her squirming when I-"
"Hey! Let her go!" The group raised their heads as their alpha turned to face Victor. "Let her go!" He shouted again, only to be answered by a laugh from the torn alpha. "And just who the fuck is gonna make me?"
"Victor just run! He'll kill us both!"
"Shut the fuck up, Chloe" Shouted the torn alpha, turning to the wolf-girl
Just that moment, there was an explosion of flames that threw the alpha into the wolves holding Chole, who had ducked just in time to escape getting hit. She rolled forwards and jumped to her feet, dashing into Victor's arms. "You... You dare challenge me!?" screamed the wolf, "...You dare challenge Taylos of the desert!?"
Victor only looked at Taylos' face, twisted in fury and embarrassment with a stern glare of his own. He raised his hand as lightning flashed across the midday sky, thunder echoing through the forest. "I dare! SO. SAYS. I!"
"SO SAY WE ALL." drones the pack, to Taylos' bewildered surprise
"And the pack calls?" Shouts Victor with incredulous satisfaction.
"HAROO! HAROO! HAROO!" Taylos only stares at Victor with growing fear and backs away from him slowly. "You've trespassed in my territory, threatened my mate, and have declared war on the Vulpamancer Council. For your crimes, I should seal you away to be judged... but instead, I've decided that you and everyone in your pack are to be banished from my forest. Any objections?" Taylos shook his head and looked to his pack then back at Victor as he got to his feet. He waved his hand and the large group of wolf-men started to shake their heads as though they were waking from a deep sleep. When he was sure that his pack was free of Victor's control, Taylos looked to the sky and howled long and loud. The pack dispersed reluctantly in confusion with Taylos following close behind.
Victor grasped Chloe closely to his chest as she wept into him. He could feel her fear, her sadness, and the hopelessness of what she knew. She knew her old pack would return to try again with a larger group. Victor was just as scared as she was- his power was only enough to handle the small group that just moved out and any more would be an all out war... It was time to go.
To be concluded in Voluptuous Voyagers.
