Chapter 41: Like Father Like Daughter

Kilyan's eyes remained fixed on the spot where Sylas had disappeared in pursuit of Wynn. He knew what the teenagers were doing out there in those trees, knew the danger was probably non-existent, but had to fight the urge to go after the two and bring them back by their ears.

"Thinking about going after them?" Keeno said, not looking at his friend but at his spear as he sharpened it. Tiny sparks flew as the rock grated the chipped blade smooth.

"Yeah, but I know what I'll walk in on," Kilyan admitted darkly.

Keeno snorted. "As if you haven't walked in on it before. So . . . Kilyan?"

"Yeah?" Kilyan turned to the fire again, and snapping a twig nervously in his fingers, he tossed it in. If Wynn and Sylas didn't return in two seconds -

"What 'er you gonna do, you know, if Avi's not accepted? I mean . . ." I don't wanna see you go. Keeno didn't think he could say the last part. Saying it to himself in his head, he thought it sounded girly.

"I already told Wynn: I'll take the family to the mountain tri--"

"The mountain tribe? Are you nuts? No - don't answer that," Keeno said, shaking his head and looking incredulously at Kilyan. "I've known you were nuts since we hit adolescence: all that pussy around, and you refused to touch it."

Kilyan rolled his eyes and tossed another twig on the flames. "Well, what the hell do you expect me to do, Keeno? There's nowhere else we could go. Hell, I would have moved everyone to the fucking shemale village if it came to that, but that's impossible now . . ." Kilyan's voice trailed away as his eyes drifted to Avi, who was still curled so small and wretched beside the fire. He had built her nest just near his foot and had laid her on it as she slept, that worried frown still on her face even as she dreamed.

"Kilyan, you don't really know what it's like up north, just what Zaldon told you in his stories. Those wolves are crazy. I watched them stone my daughter - I saw Enya laying in the dirt, bloody, her foot twitching . . ." Keeno closed his eyes. He would never forget Enya's foot twitching and the gash - the hideously life-pouring gash - that had been on her head. He didn't see Kilyan's concerned frown, just that day so many years ago.

"Keeno," Kilyan said as reassuringly as he could, "that was six years ago, my brother. Six years! Talib has been king all this time. He has to have made some progress by now."

"And if he hasn't?" Keeno demanded.

Kilyan glared at the fire and shrugged moodily. "We could always hide her penis for the next few decades. Have her wear some kind of long shawl or moon panties or something . . ."

Keeno busted out laughing. Kilyan tried to hold back, but he laughed too: Avi forced to wear moon panties would mean a huge and very obvious bulge.

"Okay, other options," Keeno said, sighing with laughter, "I'll come up with them, because you're just too hopeless, Kilyan. Let's see . . ." Keeno tapped his foot a second as he thought, then leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.

"Come up with anything yet, smarty?" Kilyan teased.

"Hmm." Keeno's face brightened. "As a matter of fact, I have."

Kilyan's ears pricked forward as he looked at his friend.

"Well, what about this place?" Keeno gestured at the trees surrounding them, the vibrantly green forest of palms, its little rivers and rolling fields of flowers.

Kilyan raised his eyebrows and stared at Keeno. "Now I have to ask if you're nuts. Are you?"

Keeno laughed. "Come on, Kil. Plenty of wolves are still nomads! You could bring the wives out here and, hell, if you want me to . . . I'll come with."

Kilyan only stared again. "You would do that for me?"

Keeno cleared his throat awkwardly. "Yeah . . . well . . . I'd miss you getting me into trouble," he said, and pushed Kilyan in the shoulder.

Keeno's affectionate shove would have usually erupted in boyish play-fighting, but after all that had recently happened, the two felt as if they had grown years in a matter of days. So it was with a serious warmth in his eye that Kilyan smiled at Keeno and said,

"Then you really are my brother."

They set out hours later in the cool of the night. The days were getting too hot to travel, and Avi calmly informed the others that it was the ground elevation: the further they traveled the higher the ground, and therefore, the closer the sun.

Avi led the group as before, ignoring it when the others watched her anxiously. She appeared rested after the three hour stop, but her happy mood seemed permanently gone: her face was now dark and grim and - when no one was looking - very sad. Kilyan made several clumsy attempts throughout the night to corner Avi and speak to her, but his efforts were in vain: Avi always found a way to be alone when she wanted to be, and there was nothing Kilyan could do about it. After all, Avi possessed the nimble climbing skills that living in the jungle had afforded her. If she wanted to get away from Kilyan, she could climb a tree for an hour or so. Sometimes Kilyan tried to follow, but the trees in the jungle were nothing like the smooth-barked trees of the summer village, and more often than not, Kilyan found himself falling on his thorn-covered ass to a chorus of laughter.

"Just leave her alone for a while, Kil," Keeno told his friend as he helped him to his feet. The others were sitting around a fire, sighing with laughter after Kilyan's hard fall. Keeno clapped his best friend on the back as he said, "Only a shemale could get up there without breaking something. Come on. Your dinner's gettin' cold, and if you don't eat it, I will." Chomping on the fish in his cheek, Keeno jerked his head at the fire and walked back.

Feeling dismal, Kilyan gave up and followed.

But sitting around the fire between Sylas and Elele, Wynn's eyes remained fixed on the dark treetop where her mother was crouched, hidden by a tangle of branches and leaves.

Some time later, in the earliest hours of the morning while the others slept, Wynn walked quietly toward the tree where her mother was still hiding. Inden and Sylas, she was amused to see, had fallen asleep on watch. The young males sat side-by-side, their backs against the rotten logs they had rolled near the fire pit, their heads back as they moaned in their sleep. Wynn thought they looked cute sitting there asleep together and wanted to put Sylas' paw on Inden's dick as a sort of joke, but resisting the urge to pull the prank, she kept toward the tree.

Wynn paused at the bottom of the tree. She could smell her mother up in those branches, could smell the familiar scent of Avi's silver fur. How different Avi looked now, how much older after her suffering, older in the eyes, older in the face. There were lines under Avi's eyes now, lines that had appeared there like the sweep of spider webs from her sorrow. And Avi's once sleek mane of braids and bones was now so shaggy and wild and unkempt. Wynn was also taller than her mother now, at least by two heads. It had been so unsettling, the first time she saw Avi at the village. It was as if she had stumbled upon some stranger who only loosely resembled her mother.

Kilyan did not seem to see the change in Avi, Wynn was aware of that. He had known her mother when she was sixteen, and whenever he looked at Avi, that young and fresh sixteen-year-old was probably what he still saw. But Wynn saw the changes. The scars. The cuts. The bruises. The agony. The old female's eyes that looked out from a face once so young and carefree. Wynn saw the change, and it frightened her. After the incident at the graveyard, the change in Avi had seemed to become more and more prominent, until even Kilyan was starting to notice it: something inside Avi had died. And there was no resurrecting it.

Wynn braced her foot against the tree and prepared to start the climb. Uncle Keeno had been right about one thing: only a shemale could get up this tree. Only a shemale knew how. The bark was riddled with stickers, and what a foreigner would not know was that those giant stickers and thorns were strong enough to help a wolf climb and should therefore be used, not avoided. Wynn set her foot on the lowest thorn and used it to boost herself higher, then grabbed one overhead and pulled herself up again. Her eyes were hunting for another giant thorn to aid her when Avi's voice made her freeze,

"Go back to the others, Wynn."

Wynn's heart pounded in her chest. Avi's voice had been flat, grating, frightening. She suddenly realized that her mother's voice sounded so odd because she had been crying. Probably all night.

Wynn's face hardened, and spotting another giant thorn, she used it to pull herself up again. The sunlight grew stronger, and with its gentle warmth, Wynn climbed faster. It wasn't long before the first tree branches appeared just overhead. She looked up and gasped to find Avi peering down at her grimly. Wynn clung to the tree as her mother glared at her, and they stared at each other for a pause. She was relieved when Avi suddenly smiled, and hoisting Wynn into the branches by her arm, she muttered under her breath, "Stubborn and pigheaded just like father."

Wynn laughed as she settled on a branch near Avi. With her legs hanging down, she watched her mother sadly. Avi had scooted back to the tree's thick trunk, which rose powerfully in the center of its branches. She pulled her knees to her chest, and she looked so small to Wynn, so sad.

"What's wrong, Mom?" Wynn asked quietly.

Avi did something Wynn had anticipated: Avi changed the subject. She smiled over her knees at Wynn, and Wynn winced to see that cut on Avi's lip split.

"Wynn grow up beautiful, brave and strong like father. Avi so proud." Her eyes traced over Wynn warmly. "Giving Wynn to Kilyan the best thing Avi ever do for daughter."

Wynn glared at her knees. "You could have stayed, Mom," she said darkly.

"Wynn --"

"I don't care about your s-stupid duties as queen!" Wynn snapped before her mother could finish. She shook her head and bit her lip angrily as she watched Avi. "If you had just stayed with us, none of this would have happened! My brother would be alive and Dad wouldn't have been so miserable - he tried to hide it, but I could tell he wanted you. Lea and Ohana could tell too. Lea used to tell me . . ." Wynn's angry eyes softened and she stared again at her knees, "that I was the best thing that had ever happened to her. That was before LiAnh." Wynn gave a small laugh as she thought of her younger brother. She lifted her head and asked, "I know I did bad things all the time, but I was a good thing that happened to you . . . wasn't I?"

Seeing the fear and confusion in Wynn's eyes, Avi shook her head and smiled sadly. "Oh, Wynn," she said in the shemale tongue, "you are the best thing that ever happened to me! I didn't return to the jungle because I didn't want you! How could you think that?" Avi moved toward Wynn and took her into her arms.

Wynn sniffed and bowed her head against Avi, and how long had she secretly longed for her mother to hold her? She felt the tears fall as Avi rocked her, and she felt stupid for ever believing such a thing. But she had been so much trouble to Avi and Roriana, always running away to find Kilyan, always talking back, always making Ryo throw her over a knee. She had blamed herself for years for Ryo's death. If she hadn't run away, if she had just stayed put! And once Avi flew over the skies of the summer village, once Avi's shadow cut across the moon and signaled that she was now forever gone . . . Wynn had firmly believed that Avi had left because of her. Because her foolishness had killed Ryo. Because Wynn was just too much to handle. She could see no other reason why Avi would not stay. Avi loved Kilyan more than the jungle. Wynn had been certain of it then, and she was still certain of it now. So why else would Avi leave if not because of Wynn? And she had believed that for years.

"Then why did you leave?" Wynn whispered, feeling soothed when her mother stroked her mane and kissed her head. "Don't tell me it was for the shemales. You would have left them in a heartbeat for Dad. He knew it and I knew it too. There was something else." Wynn waited as Avi's slender fingers stroked her mane.

Avi leaned her cheek on Wynn's head and squeezed her eyes shut, squeezed them as if to hold back the inevitable rise of tears. She whispered in the shemale tongue, "Because I knew Lea and Ohana would do a better job of raising you than I ever could. I knew you would be happier with Kilyan and his wives, happier than I could ever make you. I brought you misery, Wynn. So I sought to bring you joy. I had already failed my mother. I had already failed Ryo. I . . ." Avi swallowed a sob and said brokenly in the common tongue, "Avi could not live with failing Wynn too."

"Oh, Mom . . ." Wynn squeezed Avi's arm, a silent protest. She pulled back and looked into her mother's eyes. "You could never fail me! Just loving me as much as you do makes you the best mother I could ever ask for!"

Wynn wiped her mother's tears away and they smiled at each other.

"Yes, I was happier in the summer village," Wynn admitted, "but I would have been so much happier if you'd been there."

Avi smiled again, and for a moment, Wynn caught a glimpse of the carefree, sixteen-year-old princess her mother used to be. That youthful prettiness suddenly shone through, as if Avi's joy at hearing those words had somehow restored her youth. But it lasted only a second or two. Avi soon stopped smiling - though she looked better than she had moments before - and once again, her aged face settled back into its lines.

"So that's it," Wynn said quietly as it dawned on her. She stared at her mother. "You thought you failed my brother."

"His name was Raxa," Avi said in the shemale tongue. She gazed off, smiling absently through her tears. "And he would have been so strong and good, like your father. He would have been everything." She lifted her chin proudly. "He had our shemale strength the moment he was born. He squeezed my finger with his little paw. He could have broken it."

Wynn laughed, and still gazing into the distance, Avi smiled.

"When they killed Raxa . . . it made it all too clear that I was a failure. My mother had been telling me that my whole life, that I was going to be the one to mess everything up. And when Raxa died, I finally knew . . . it was true."

Wynn shook her head, grabbing her mother's arm. "Oh, Mom, no - the pygmies were going to attack one day! It had nothing to do with you! Finivive is responsible for her own actions! She didn't have to take our village! There were other ways she could have saved her tribe. But cruelty and malice, it's all those stupid pygmies know --"

"Wynn!"

Avi looked incredulously at her daughter, her eyes alight with anger. Wynn bit her lip, feeling guilty for her outburst.

"God," said Avi, still speaking shemale, "you sound like your grandmother. So full of anger and hate. Wynn, if you ever learn anything from me, learn this: the first step toward changing the world is looking at it neutrally." Avi cupped Wynn's face as she spoke. Her thumb brushed Wynn's cheek before she dropped her paw away and looked off again.

Wynn sat next to her mother, feeling like a pup. "I'm sorry, Mom . . . It's just - after everything that happened. . . ."

"I know, Wynny."

Wynn looked away, embarrassed now: Avi had often called her "Wynny" when she was a child - something that had consistently humiliated her - and she had lived in terror for days that Avi would call her Wynny in front of Kilyan and the others.

"I taught you to fear the pygmies, yes," went on Avi, "but I never meant for you to hate them, Wynn. No matter what they have done, we can not judge all of them by the actions of a few. If we do that, we become blinded by anger and hatred. And with those things living in your heart, how can you ever hope to make a difference in this world? Wynn, you are going to be a fox queen! A queen! And good queens are not ruled by anger and hate as they rule." Avi gave her daughter a meaningful look.

Wynn suddenly grinned: it was as if she was six all over again, sitting on Ryo's knee as Avi lectured her about one day becoming queen. Still grinning at her mother, Wynn realized that Kilyan was wrong about Avi: Avi did not strive to see the good in everyone, but looked upon wolves with neutral eyes until they had shown their true colors individually. She did not judge a culture or a tribe. Avi judged one wolf and one wolf alone.

Avi looked questioningly at Wynn, confused by her grinning. "Wynn acting strange," she said in the common tongue, "told her not to eat those funny white berries --"

Wynn laughed. "No, Mom! It's just . . ."

Wynn gazed warmly at her mother. Avi waited, still confused.

Without a word, Wynn kissed her mother's cheek, then swung her legs over the branch as if she was preparing to climb down. But she paused, and looking up at her startled mother, she said happily, "I love you."

After Avi's talk with Wynn, things seemed to go back to normal, and rather than cause more unnecessary drama, Kilyan let the matter drop and never questioned Avi about her outburst. And so they traveled on, fishing as they followed the river, talking cheerfully as they passed through the pressing trees, sleeping huddled together under the stars. It wasn't long before the trees began to thin, the air to grow cool, and Kilyan realized: they were leaving the jungle.

One morning, with the winter fog creeping upon them, they stepped out of the trees to realize they had followed the river all the way to the little wood that stood so eerie and silent behind the summer village. The still graves of summer wolves long gone were in those trees, and to the west of them, the wastelands.

Standing on the summit, Kilyan threw his arms around Avi and Wynn and grinned: they were home. He and Keeno couldn't help laughing as they led the others down out of the palms. Kilyan had to suppress the urge to run to those trees and the sense of safety they had once represented when he was a child. God, how that sense of safety had vanished the moment he saw Lea's virgin blood on that earth. God . . . how his eyes had been opened.

Wynn followed behind Kilyan, Avi, and Keeno, and didn't understand why her heart was pounding so hard in her chest. It was just the summer village. What was she so nervous about? Seeing Kilyan kiss her mother warmly as they walked, she suddenly realized: this was the last time she would probably set foot in the summer village. How could she hope to return here one hundred years later? Having to stand over Kilyan's grave, having to stand there and know that for one hundred years she had not been kissed on the head by him or heard his voice or made him laugh . . . it would break her heart.

Wynn was grateful when she felt Sylas - who alone seemed to notice her troubled frown - squeeze her fingers tight in his own. Don't worry, Wynn, he said into her mind, everything will be alright. I'll take care of you. I will. And he smiled. And looking up at him, Wynn felt herself relax all over.

They entered the summer village after pausing to allow Kilyan and Keeno a friendly exchange with the guards at the southern gates. It was daytime, bright and blue, and wolves everywhere were sitting outside, standing on corners talking, preparing to set out on patrol. A mother with a pup strapped to her back dropped her laundry with a splash to see Avi and just stared with her mouth open. Children running in the streets froze mid-Tag. Old wolves smoking choked on their pipes. Others pointed and gasped.

And walking at Sylas' side, Wynn realized they weren't just staring at Avi: they were also in awe of Sylas, who walked among them, white and glowing and oh-so-handsome. She suddenly felt very proud of her lover and clung to his arm with her chin lifted, as if to say, "Look what I got!"

Seeing Wynn's pride, Inden shook his head as he walked behind her with Elele, and he and the pygmy princess said in weary amusement, "Same old Wynn."

They moved down the street as the gasps and the stares continued, and Wynn's heart leapt in her chest when Zane suddenly appeared. Zane was Kilyan and Ohana's son, a silvery wolf with light gray eyes and a brutal nature that was both innocent and playful. His house was just around the corner, and his spear was on his shoulder as he moved toward it. It was high noon: he was coming off patrol for lunch. He grinned all over his handsome face to see Kilyan and the others and eagerly approached, calling out, "Dad!" Wynn watched as her father and older brother banged chests in a one-armed hug, as Kilyan reintroduced Zane to Avi - who smiled up at the gigantic young male in amazement and said incredulously, "This Kilyan son?"

Kilyan grinned, watching fondly as Zane greeted Inden with a brotherly bop on the head. "Mine and Ohana's," he said proudly.

"He so much smaller last time Avi here!" Avi said in amazement.

Zane smiled warmly at Avi and leaned down to enfolded her in a hug - as tender a hug as if she were his own mother.

Wynn's heart pounded hard when Zane at last turned to her. She didn't know why, but she always felt the strongest need to please her big brother. She wanted fiercely for Zane to like Sylas, but she was also scared that he would: Zane was a brute with wolves that he liked or loved. Possessing winter wolf blood through his mother, Zane was massive, after all; a giant who stood a head taller than the regular-sized summer wolves. He was muscular and hard-bodied, and his bicep alone was the size of a regular wolf's head. Wynn had fond memories of swinging from Zane's arms when she was ten. Now Mio and Zee had that privilege.

"So what do we have here?" Zane said, eying Sylas up and down.

Wynn's heart beat hard now: the others had moved on. Kilyan told Wynn to meet them at the house for dinner, then walked off up the street with Avi. Keeno announced that he and Zalia had some catching up to do, and Inden led Elele away, probably to the village council to ask about marrying her. And so Wynn and Sylas were left standing in the street with Zane, who looked more inclined to lecture, interrogate, and tease than congratulate.

"This is Sylas, Zane," Wynn said, a warning note in her voice. "Sylas, this is my big, knucklehead brother Zane."

Zane laughed at the insult. Sylas did too.

"So what's wrong with you?" Zane said, tilting his head as he studied Sylas. "I mean . . . you're glowing. It's kinda . . . tail chaser-ish."

"Shut up, meathead!" Wynn cried, shoving her big brother in the arm. She was pleased when Zane staggered a little: with her shemale strength, she had always been the only one in the family who could shove him around.

"I'm a fox," Sylas said, laughing and offering his paw.

"A fox king," Wynn added proudly.

"Well, hullo, your majesty." Zane shook Sylas' paw but continued to study him closely. "You takin' my baby sister for a ride? You think you're gonna fuck with her? Because let me warn you --"

Wynn rolled her eyes. "God, Zane, shut up with the big brother routine already."

"Besides," added Sylas, grinning, "we both know Wynn busts nuts, not the other way around."

Zane busted out laughing, and for a split second, Wynn thought he sounded and looked a great deal like Zaldon - which wasn't surprising, she supposed, since Zaldon was his great uncle. He shoved his spear hard in Sylas' chest and jerked his head.

"Come on with me for lunch. You're alright, kid. You're alright." And still grinning, Zane ruffled Sylas' curly mane and started off up the street.

Zane's spear was practically bigger than Sylas, but he managed to shoulder it and wagged his eyebrows playfully at Wynn. "He adores me!" He went cheerfully after Zane, Wynn shaking her head and smiling as she followed.

When they entered Zane's hut, his wives Mora and Nyssa were there. After birthing their sons, the twins had each gained rounder hips, bigger breasts, and fuller thighs. Wrapped in rosy pink shawls, they were still so pretty with their dark fur and round faces, still young and still giggly. They had prepared lunch already for Zane, but seeing him enter with Wynn and Sylas, their faces brightened and they quickly prepared more plates.

"Grrrr!" Zane growled happily, and making his wives giggle, he scooped them both into his arms and squeezed them tight. Their giggling was like the shrill cackling of hens, and Wynn and Sylas glanced at each other, trying not to laugh at the affectionate scene. Zane kissed his wives hard on their cheeks (Mmmmuah!), then took up a plate and sat near the fire.

"Welcome home, Wynn," Mora said sweetly as she passed Wynn and Sylas their plates.

"Who's your handsome friend?" Nyssa added, fluttering girlishly twinkling eyes.

"He's a fox," Zane said around a mouthful of mush before Wynn could answer. "Like that, uh, Nontikmah witch my dad met."

"Actually," Sylas said quietly, "Nontikmah was my mother."

Mora and Nyssa looked at each other, their eyes round as they memorized every detail for their corner gossip.

"Son of a bitch, really?" Zane said. "So, uh, how's Nontikmah anyway? Not that I ever met her, but you know, thought I oughta ask . . ." The words halted in Zane's mouth when he saw Wynn shake her head hard, a silent warning.

Sylas glared at his plate, and the room grew still after Zane's innocent blunder.

"I bet it's been a long, hard journey," said Mora, to fill the silence. "But we're so glad to have you home to stay, Wynn. Mio and Zee missed you a great deal."

Wynn felt a guilty rush to hear Mora's sweetly eager words: she wasn't home to stay. And she didn't know how to tell them this was the last time they would ever see her in person. So she didn't.

"Yeah, I missed them too," Wynn said, squeezing Sylas' paw to comfort him. "Where are they anyway?"

"Down for their nap," Nyssa answered. "I was going to help Lea and Ohana in the fields --"

"--and I was going to stay and watch the boys --" added Mora

"--but you can watch them if you like," said the twins in unison. They smiled prettily at Wynn in unison too.

"Sure," Wynn said. "We need the practice." She and Sylas smiled at each other, and Mora and Nyssa said teasingly, "Oooooo!"

"I think I smell a wedding!" Mora cried, but Nyssa asked with an anxious frown, "But . . . Inden?"

"Oh, yeah," Zane said, setting aside his empty plate. "He was with some teeny babe, wasn't he? What was up with that?" He frowned as anxiously as Nyssa. "Am I gonna have to talk with Inden?"

Wynn resisted the urge to roll her eyes once again at her protective brother. "Oh, Zane, it wasn't like that - he didn't lie to me or cheat on me --"

"Ah, so my threats paid off," Zane joked, cracking his knuckles. "Well," he pulled himself to his feet and gestured at his wives, "come give Daddy some sugar. It's back on patrol for me."

Giggling like the girls they still were, Mora and Nyssa switched across the room and into their husband's burly arms, their round bodies jiggling with the new weight they had put on. Wynn made a face and looked away when Zane grabbed their plump asses in fistfuls and buried kisses in their necks while they - shrieking now with cries of shock and pleasure - twisted against him. Satisfied with himself, he collected his spear, slapping Mora's ass on his way out.

"Goodbye, doofus!" Wynn called, standing and sticking her paws on her hips.

Zane backtracked to give his little sister a hard, taunting kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye, slutbag!" he returned, dodging her sudden blows with deep chuckles. He hurried as Wynn continued to swipe at him, and they could hear him laughing outside as he met up with his friends.

After drilling Wynn about what to do in case of an emergency, Mora and Nyssa gathered a basket of sewing and left for the fields. Sylas sat watching their asses twitch out the curtain before he said with lifted eyebrows, "God, they're hot."

"Sylas!" Wynn scolded, gathering the plates. She was scrubbing them in the wash basin when she felt Sylas come up behind her. His hard chest and belly pressed against her back as his thighs closed strong around her. She could feel his sex nudging her, a silent question. He was hard.

"But who will you be thinking about?" Wynn teased as she went on scrubbing the plates. "Mora and Nyssa or me?"

Sylas laughed softly in her ear. "Oh, come on, Wynn! You know I can't get enough of you! I've been trying not to fuck your brains out since back in jungle. I still have it in my mind, the image of you sitting up on that rock with your legs open. And that pussy so wet it made the rock dark. Wet and hot . . . all for me. . . ." His fingers pressed between Wynn's thighs as he spoke, and she closed her eyes, dropping the dishes with a splash.

"But - Mio and Zee --"

"Sleeping. And I'll be quick. It will feel so good . . ." He pressed a kiss in her neck and squeezed her tit hard.

Wynn shuddered. "Okay."

Sylas pulled her onto his lap, and spreading her pussy lips to get at her clit, he pressed himself up and in. Wynn shuddered and whimpered as Sylas moved his hips against hers, as his thick desire filled her, nudged her with its length. She leaned her head back against him, and touching his face, she kissed him. Her cries were smothered behind his tongue, and it felt as if her body was on fire, as if the slightest touch of his fingers had every ounce of blood rushing to her nipples and sex. His fingers rolled her nipples around, then squeezed her tits as he made love to her, and she could feel her clit throbbing hard against his thrusting. With a cry, she fell forward on her paws and whispered for it faster, harder. Sylas hunched over her back and gave it to her, groaning against her shrill, breathless cries, leaving wet kisses on her neck and shoulder. He banged so deliciously deep that Wynn felt her juices wash over him, felt her arms tremble as if they would give out and she would fall. He fumbled to pull out, and Wynn heard his muffled cry when he came on her thigh. Breathless, they remained kneeling, and she smiled to herself when she felt the nudge of his cock against her leg: he was still hard.

Sylas dropped his forehead against Wynn's back as they knelt there and said breathlessly, "God . . . I can never . . . get enough of you . . ."

Smiling teasingly over her shoulder, Wynn nudged Sylas with her buttocks. "Then hump me again, your majesty!"

Sylas laughed, and with a mischievous light in his eye, he grabbed Wynn by the base of her tail and thrust so hard inside that she cried out. "Yeah, take it, baby," he muttered as he started to thrust, but noticing that Wynn was looking in horror over her shoulder, he followed her gaze and froze.

Mio and Zee were standing at the end of the hall, watching them in horror.

Squeezing his eyes shut, Sylas dropped his forehead against Wynn's back and whispered, "Fuck."
