Finding Yourself Beyond Purgatory Ch 2 - Revealing All
Chapter 2 of Beyond Purgatory IS entirely without an explicit sex scene, but Chapter 3 will be out mid-September, and that will most definitely be the next step in Cherry's experience.

Chapter 2 – Revealing All
Finding yourself in the afterglow of your first time with a lady should be a moment to reflect, to cherish the joy of what you had just done. When it’s a wonderful experience that you hadn’t been expecting to even happen in the first place, with one of the most beautiful vixens you’ve ever seen, and it leaves you tired and in a state of bliss you had never believed possible. When you’re resting against that vixen, your tumescence fading while still inside her, holding on to the moment, the last thing one would expect after that is to suddenly find yourself staring up into glowing green eyes on a body covered head to toe in white, shining latex. So, it was with no small measure of complete shock that the caracal named Cherry, scion of a powerful and immediately recognizable family, found himself in just that position.
“It’s time, sweet kitty, if you want it, to join the others in the Inner Circle,” Misha said, lips curled into a wide smile. Paralyzed by the sudden surprise, Cherry could only stare, still trying to process what he’d seen. As Misha spoke, he’d seen inside her mouth, and every single bit of her, seemingly inside and out, was that uniform white, other than her eyes. There, he couldn’t see anything but glowing emerald green, no iris, no pupil. He got the sense that they weren’t even there, physically at least, but were just some sort of pure light. Before he thought about what he was doing, he reached a hand up, some less-than-wise part of him wanting to touch and see if they were. When Misha realized what he was doing she said in a wry tone, “Please don’t, sweet kitty. It would feel very… discomforting to me.”
Cherry stopped, then quickly moved his hand to touch the vixen’s muzzle. “What in the fuck…” he whispered hoarsely, still trying to make sense of what he was seeing, and now feeling. There was warmth to that skin of hers, but it was undeniably something artificial-feeling. “Some sort of nanotech? I know we Raleighs have some R&D going on with it, but this is... way further...”
Misha laughed then, and suddenly Cherry felt his shaft being squeezed from all sides. He let out a mewl of surprise and pulled himself out, looking down. What he’d felt was confirmed when he saw that her mound was also that alabaster tone. The vixen’s scent was different, smelling of rubber and lube on top of the usual vulpine pleasure-scents. “No, Cherry, it’s not nanotech. Some of them rationalize it as such. It’s human nature to rationalize the incomprehensible, and despite largely leaving the human form behind centuries ago, your natures remain much the same.”
Still completely dazed, Cherry moved to a kneeling position, leaning back a bit and resting his elbows on the coffee table behind him. “But you… how… I… I don’t understand,” he stammered. Beneath that confusion, there was a feeling of resignation that, against all his hopes to the contrary, Misha had been hiding an ulterior motive for having him with her. “I don’t know what it is… but I just… I should go. Guess you were like all the others after all.” He rose, looking for his pants and picked them up before rising so he could put them back on.
Misha winced at the scorn in his tone, and the latex on her face seemed to flow away, returning her visage to the one he’d first seen. “I’m sorry, Cherry. I… please, just… sit back down. Dress if you want to, but listen to me? Please?” To his surprise, the confidence that Misha had radiated from the moment that Cherry had met him had vanished. The pleading look in her eyes was either an incredibly convincing ruse, or something real.
Sighing, Cherry sat down on the couch, as far from the vixen as he could get. He was still confused and possibly a little hurt, but seeing the more normal vulpine visage was making him calm down. He looked to where red fur turned to white latex and saw no clear line, no seam. He shivered a little, remembering the squirrel, Kel. Now he understood why he’d never been able to see any zippers or seams on the employees and patrons of Inner Circle, Misha’s sex club-within-a-club. There weren’t any, because they were like… her. “Talk. I owe that much. I… I just… dammit, what the fuck is going on? I thought you just wanted me. Now I find out you’re… whatever you are.”
Keeping her distance, Misha turned and rested against the far side of the couch. She let out a heavy sigh, watching him for a while. “I had to be sure. Sure that you could let go. To stop thinking about obligation and the future and all the responsibilities your life will pile on you, Cherry. And you did, and oh, it was wonderful wasn’t it?”
Cherry found himself smiling, then said, “It really was. That… that was honest. You really wanted. You really do want me. Not my name. Not my money. Me.” Misha nodded and crossed her legs, giving the caracal a glimpse of her mound. He flushed when he saw his seed drooling out of her, then looked down at his hands, folded in his lap to keep him from fidgeting. “What are you? I… spend so much time worrying that some new person has some ulterior motive. Did you know that my parents hired bunch of people to act like my friends? I thought they were this cool group that wanted to hang out, but then one day there was a kidnapping attempt, and I found out my friends were… well, they were my bodyguards. I watched this nerdy little gamer beat the shit out of someone twice his size because he tried to force me into a shuttle. Mom didn’t even fucking tell me. There’s more to it, but it… kinda made it clear I’d always have to be on my guard. Not just from dad’s business and political rivals, but from my so-called friends. Guess that suspicion has hurt me a lot.”
“Mhm,” Misha intoned, “When I want someone, they have to give everything. I can… sense desire. Need. Sadness. Your pure need was like a beacon when you came here, Cherry.” She sighed and let the latex disappear fully, returning to the plump and nearly middle-aged vixen Cherry had first seen her as. “And as for what I am… it’s a complicated answer. But, with you, I’ll be as honest as I can be. Cherry… I want you to be able to go down there, to let yourself loose. To learn and experience everything you can.” She gestured toward the window that looked down on the Inner Circle.
Cherry snorted, then shook his head. “Misha, how many caracals do you know of? If I go down there, even if I looked like… I dunno, Kel, people would still put two and two together. I’m sure I’ve been seen in Purgatory. If someone saw a caracal down there, the rumours would get to my family, and my family tends to get very… upset at scandals. I just don’t see it happening, much as I want it. And I do. Want it I mean.” He gave Misha a sidelong glance, “So, if you’re being as honest as you can… show me what you look like. The real you. Tell me what you are.”
Misha laughed at that, shaking her head, “You get right back to that. I have to say, you’re remarkably calm. More of your upbringing, right?” When Cherry nodded, she stood up. In between moments, she changed from being nude to having on a slinky purple dress with a thigh-high slit on her right side. She stepped around the coffee table and made her way to the window overlooking her club. “The short answer? I don’t know. Tell me, Cherry. Humanity has traveled to the stars. There are almost ninety billion of you now. At least fifty distinct species of humans. That’s what you all are, even if you’re a caracal, and Kel’s a squirrel, and that one down there is an otter. You all still have human DNA, however altered by your proteus cells. From the rocket engine to Epstein fusion to the Alcubierre Drive and beyond. After all this progress… Do you believe in gods, Cherry? Do you think they’re out there?”
Cherry was silent for a while, then he said softly, “I don’t disbelieve. We found dragons, after all. Or as close to the mythical depiction of them as is possible. I figure there has to be… things we don’t understand. Wait…” He remembered then the enigmatic statements that Misha had made ‘not right now’ ‘and sometimes’. “You’re not saying?”
“I am. At least, for all intents and purposes, that’s what I am. I have existed since before the proteus plagues. I saw humanity in its infancy. I know there were others like me, too. But… here I am. I want people to experience every pleasure they can. To give into every carnal desire they have, and explore what one soul can give to another.”
Cherry stared at Misha for a long time, waiting for her to continue, but it seemed like she was collecting her thoughts. He gestured at her and then said, “Show me how you really look, then.” The demand just brought a smile and a shake of her head. In an instant, she had turned into a male fox with gray fur, with a human penis and soft blue eyes. In the next, he had turned his skin to black and blue latex. He peeled open his body to reveal nothing inside but thin tendrils of latex. And then, he changed into something else. There was light, and form, and something undefiniably strange that Cherry could almost make out, but as he tried to perceive it, a low throbbing ache began at the back of his skull.
A voice reverberated through the room, “The strange thing is… this is the least ‘me’ that I really am now.” As Misha, returned to that first form that Cherry had known, looked down over the Inner Circle, she let out a sigh, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been this honest with someone, Cherry. Don’t call me a god, or a goddess, or… I just wanted you to know. Because while I want you to give yourself to me, I know the best way is to actually be honest. To be a friend who wants… you. It really is that simple, Cherry. I want you, to see you explore. Come here, let me show you something?”
Cherry, reeling just a little from what he’d just learned, mutely stood up and stepped to the window beside Misha. After a few moments looking down on the Inner Circle, he finally spoke, “I don’t know why, but… I believe you. I’m not the kind that needs to, well, know how something works to use it. Or to have everything explained perfectly. I’m tired of being on guard all the time. So I guess it’s simple exhaustion.”
When Misha laid an arm on Cherry’s shoulder and pulled him a little closer, he didn’t flinch. “It’s a lot of years of just being on guard. I can’t imagine how fucked up it was to find out your so-called friends were just bodyguards. How much of your life was curated for you. I won’t do that. Look down there… you see that wolf? The one in red and pink? That’s Tarot. I took him suddenly, roughly, in a club where he’d seen me bring another one of my toys. I used that black and blue look, drew him into my body. Converted him, took his mind and total control of his emotions. Then there’s Ghost. She comes and goes, actually, though I’ve claimed her completely. She’s the one in all shades of purple, with that delightful cock. She likes to be a literal toy sometimes. So I leave her in another club, looking like a posable sex doll, and nobody’s the wiser that she’s a sapient being.”
Cherry felt his cock stirring at the descriptions, and was surprised to find himself pressing up closer against Misha. “It all sounds… intense,” he murmured. He was about to ask a question that had been on his mind, but the vixen cut him off.
“The reason I don’t do that to you is because even things like me, we have rules. And I can’t take anyone without their permission. Maybe they don’t know what they’re getting into. I don’t think Ghost did, not completely. Tarot, well, he was fun. But I need a ‘yes’. And even with a yes, it’s not really forever. If either one of them truly desired to leave, I’d let them. As could any of my… followers.” She leaned over and nuzzled at one of Cherry’s ears, making it flit all on its own. “I can’t stop you from leaving, you know.”
Cherry turned to face that emerald-eyed gaze. He could see something in her eyes he’d never expected. Fear. Naked, genuine fear. Fear of rejection, of having him leave after all she’d told him, all she’d bared to him in a way she hadn’t for what he knew was a very long time. She was as vulnerable as he wished he could be, and in that moment he knew that she had him. He may not have agreed to anything yet, but she’d taken him all the same. She just didn’t know it yet.
“You are beautiful,” he said softly, “I’m not going to leave.” He lifted a hand up to rest it on her cheek. She pressed against his hand, and he lightly scratched through her fur. “You haven’t been touched like that, have you? Not for a while.” When Misha shook her head, he laughed. “You know, my dad… hah. He’d find this funny. Probably the only woman… or man… good enough to go against his wishes and let me fall in love whether he wanted it or not. A god.” This made a smile curl on her lips, and Cherry felt a rush of pure joy when that fear left Misha’s eyes.
“Magnus Raleigh is a pompous ass that has an ass so tight I couldn’t pry it open if I put all my power to bear against him,” Misha murmured, then broke into musical laughter. Cherry soon joined her, his gaze going down to the Inner Circle after a few moments.
In a soft voice, not wanting to let the eagerness show for some reason, “So how can I do it? How can I go down there? Lose myself to pleasure, to… shit, it’s like a temple for you isn’t it? The Inner Circle, Purgatory. Yeah, that makes sense. So… how will you do it?”
Misha ran her fingers down his back, claws dragging a little along his spine, making him shiver. The touch was casual and affectionate, something Cherry had wished to feel all his life. “Mmm…. Do you think I couldn’t just… change you, kitty? Cover you in latex of a different species entirely? Something a little stockier. Mmm, yes. Any down there you fancy? I’m sure there’s a bunch of guys out there you admire. Pick one, and I can tailor the experience for you.”
A moment later, as Misha rested her chin on his shoulder, hands on his hips, Cherry said softly, “Wasn’t the guys I was… thinking of, really. I mean, I like my body, but… you want to know the one that’s really got my eye?” He turned his head to nuzzle at the vixen’s cheek and said, surprised at the amount of bashfulness that had filled him, “I watched the otter a lot. That one, in the blue. I… I… I kind of wished I could be like her. I love how she’ll be relaxing, and some guy will zero in on her. Charm her, tease her. Then next thing you know she’s being knotted after having her ass whipped till she’s sobbing.”
“Well, that is quite the surprise, my dear. Mmmm… I could do that. Mind you, unless I were to fully claim you, I wouldn’t have the ability to alter your inner structure. And I… don’t want to do that yet. Sometimes I do, but… I… it wouldn’t be right for you. I will, someday, if you’ll let me, but when you’re old and gray and ready to serve me. When you’ve left a legacy. You said you wanted to do good with your family name, remember?” Misha draped her arms over his shoulders and held them up. Red, flowing liquid latex seemed to spring from her hands and form into a strange latex mask. It was rigid and stylized, but unmistakably an otter.
“Yeah. My whole life is going to be under a microscope. You know, I always said it would take some sort of divine intervention to get a chance to do any of that. Guess I was pretty damn right,” Cherry mused, reaching up to touch the mask. “So, what will this do to me? Make me believe I’m an otter? A girl?”
“No, no lies or subterfuge. You’ll feel everything on you like it was your bare skin. Everything more sensitive. You’ll not suffer any injury or even be able to bleed. Unless you get with a vampire, they’re fun though.”
“Vampire!?” Cherry exclaimed, shocked. “There’s vampires?”
“Dear, you just had your virginity taken by a literal god of lust, passion and freedom. Do you really think that vampires couldn’t exist?” Misha murmured in his ear, sounding amused.
Cherry paused and then laughed, “Okay. Fair point.” He could feel his cock stirring in its sheath again at the thought of being encased in latex like that. Hidden, able to explore everything he’d wanted to try, without the fear of being identified and censured by a scandalized family. “That everything?”
“Some wish for mental control. For the inability to say ‘no’. To be taken without thought for what happens. Others wish for emotional triggers. Shame and humiliation. I’m letting you decide what you’d like. There IS one property of it you’ll enjoy that I’ve left as a surprise though. Since you’ll look like a delightful otteress, your poor little cock is going to be covered up.”
Cherry looked up to the ghostly reflection of Misha cast by the light of the room against it, “Little? You seemed to like it just fine.” He stuck his tongue out at the vixen. “Mental control. That… that’s interesting. I would, but I don’t think I could… I mean…”
“How’s this sound. I’ll provide a command phrase. One that is up to you to tell your partner down there. If they say it to you, you’ll be under their power, doing whatever they say despite how you feel about it,” Misha suggested helpfully, still holding the mask in front of the caracal.
“That… that sounds… oh that sounds… yeah. That’s perfect. So what do I do?” Cherry asked, surprised when the window in front of him actually became a mirror. “Do I just put it on?” The vixen simply nodded, and he took the mask in his hands. “I swear to god, if you make the trigger phrase ‘would you kindly’ I’ll hate you.”
Misha laughed and stepped away, watching Cherry with an eager expression. “No. You know I played that in its original form? It keeps coming back in some form or another. Just… remember, when it starts, don’t panic. It will flow over you, cover you, change you. It can be surprising. When you’re ready, put it on.”
Cherry held the mask for a few moments. He had no doubt that it would do just as Misha told. In his hands was the promise that he could do as he’d wanted, not just since he’d found Purgatory and the Inner Circle, but for years before that. To be sexually unfettered and able to just experience all he could without some paparazzi or one of his family’s functionaries ready to tell all to the family matriarch. To know that whomever he was with would be interested in him. He looked back up to Misha’s reflection and grinned. There was her too.
There really was no question. He slipped the mask onto his face.
