As the sun was rising, I heard the village like city coming to life and looked to see what was going on. I floated by the people living here and saw that they were a more tribalistic version than the other cities. They wore minimal clothing, only loincloths, head bands, and several bracelets and tribal ornaments. Most of them seemed to be aquatic based furries but seeing as this was a city spread across several islands connected by bridges, I guessed a water based population was to be expected. The giant hut in the middle seemed to be their market as the place was lined with stores like one of those out door flea markets. Tools, food, clothes, and even toys for their children were found here.

I then passed by what I thought was a voodoo store and looked at the merchandise. Many necklaces with figurines of what appeared to be the same otter holding a spear and thrusting it into what was some shapeless demon like thing with several appendages. I didn't have to do research to know that this otter was stabbing the biggest pervert object on earth, the tentacle monster.

I floated around and saw more of such trinkets, every one of them was of the same otter slaying some other tentacle monster with a spear. This guy must have been some hero. I continued my search throughout the hut and noticed many of these people were wearing such figurines. I decided to find out what was going on. And searched the rest of the city.

The other islands were small, just barely villages with their bridges for the market. I was at the last island at the tip of the web when I saw something off in the distance. It appeared to be some kind of stone tower leading directly out of the ocean but no bridges lead to it. I decided to investigate and flew for it, my fully rested energy getting me there in seconds when it was just barely visible from the island city. Upon getting closer, I realized this tower was very, very tall. It reached higher than the clouds. I flew up higher and when I had broken through the first clouds, I saw the top. A large platform like house stood atop it. I flew up and into the house through a window and looked around, what I saw surprised me. It was the otter from the figurines sitting on what appeared to be a throne made out of water.

"Ah, the potential demi god, how nice of you to come visit me..." said the otter looking right at me. He had a tribal loin cloth and his spear was propped against his leg as he looked at me Judging by his body, I'd say he was 15 in appearance. The spearhead was five pronged and looked like pitch fork sort of.

"You can see me? That means you're a-" I began before he finished for me. "A demi god? Yes. Alexander, demi god of the seas." He said smiling.

"What's with the spear and statues of you?" I asked. Alexander chuckles as he shifted to lay down, as he did, the water throne shifted to become a couch.

"The sea here is full of shape shifting monsters called Tentacle monsters. Anyone unlucky enough to fall into it will be forced into sexual acts until they are completely drained of energy then fall to the ocean and drown cause they're too weak to swim. I have saved that village many times by slaying such creatures so they sort of worship me as a hero and they prefer me over the other demi gods. Once a year they hold a festival and I attend." he said.

"So I can't go swimming?" I asked in shock. Alexander smiled again as he shook his head no.

"They prefer deep water where their prey can't escape, you'll be safe on a beach unless it's their mating season, then all water is off limits for the month." Said Alexander.

"Well if you're the demi god of the sea, can't you just purge the sea of them?" I asked surprised. Alexander laughed a bit as he replied.

"It's not that easy, yes I'm a demi god and am not bound to all the rules the mortals are but I can't just purge an entire species from our dimension, even father can't do that. Everyone I kill, someone in another dimension imagines them and they keep popping up, they're like weeds... really perverted rapist weeds." he said.

Suddenly the tower room was filled with some strange echoing sound.

"Help us lord Alexander, one of the bridges has given way and three cubs have fallen into the ocean!" sounded the voice.

"Damn!" shouted Alexander as he plucked up his spear and leapt from the couch which melted into a puddle on the floor.

"If you want to see a demi god in action, now's your chance." He said as he flew into the air out of the castle and headed for the village at twice the speed I flew. I tried to keep up with him and then I saw the fallen bridge when I was reaching the city. I also saw the cubs in the water. Two dolphins and a shark. They were all about 13 in appearance and I couldn't tell what genders they were from up here. Then I saw it, movement in the water like a massive shadow. I saw the live action movie of Pinocchio where the shadow of giant whale moves under the boat. If I saw this in real life swimming for me, I would die of fright right there. I now saw it, a massive shadow moving for the cubs from under the water. Alexander readied his spear and flew at the children just as tentacles burst from the water.

One tentacle wrapped around Alexander's right left which he quickly harpooned the tentacle with his spear making it release him and retreat back to the water. Several small tentacles began to pull the shark kid down into the waters and I couldn't see what was going on down below. I flew down to the bottom and under the water. If I had a body, I would probably have been frozen in fear. Some massive blob like being about he size of an entire city with tentacles of all sizes coming out of it. Under this water was just like the empty void I had been in for the time I was ejected from earth. Emptiness all around. Except for up, the way I had come. Alexander's spear came charging through the water and like a sword, cut the small tentacles and released the shark which he grabbed and flew back to the surface to place the kid gently on the nearest island. He was about to return when one of the tentacles grabbed the nearest dolphin kid, I realized by the clothing this one was male, the other was probably his sister.

The dolphin boy was ripped of his clothing as Alexander saved the girl dolphin and was about to return for the boy one. I knew that this was going to take a while so I did the only thing I could think of and possessed the dolphin boy and gently pushed his mind to sleep so he wouldn't endure this. Just as I predicted, Alexander didn't make it back in time for the first tentacle to shoot up my host's ass blinding me with pain as I was currently in control. I tried to escape and managed to get an arm free before another one grabbed my waist and a third shot into my mouth.

They began to rape my host and Alexander finally made it back in time to defeat the tentacles and save my host by flying to the islands again. As he set us down, it was hard to relax with the pain in my ass but I managed to exit the body, I was getting better now. Alexander saw me exit the body and his eyes widened in surprise.

"You chose to endure his pain?" Asked Alexander. There was a huge splash and tentacles burst from the water and wrapped around him yanking him into the sea. He just barely grabbed his spear in time.

The city was shouting protests and cheers as Alexander was stabbing the monster while still bound. Apparently the demi gods were able to be attacked. I watched as he finally cut himself free and flew into the air above the tentacles. He aimed his spear directly at the underwater shadow and a beam of light shot from it and into the water. I watched as the water began to bubble and boil until it was like a Jacuzzi and the creature underneath writhed in agony before swimming off into the sea again to cool down. As he did, the water also cooled down. The people cheered applauses as Alexander flew into the air and aimed his spear at the broken bridge and another beam blasted both halves. The bridge lifted up and repaired itself instantly.

I watched in amazement too as Alexander panted slightly from the fight. When it was over, we flew back to his tower and he sat on the puddle as it formed back into his throne again.

"You endured that child's pain as he was raped, even though you did sort of force him into sleep, he'll be unconscious for an hour or so but still... I would have been there in time to stop them from any serious harm but you still endured it for him..." said Alexander looking at me.

I was confused, was this good or bad? Suddenly he smiled.

"Well you have Cecilia and Josh's approval and now you have mine. 3 votes for you to become a demi god. Lets see if father will accept it tomorrow...." said Alexander smiling. I was happy at this. I had only been here for 3 days and already I was proven worthy of being a demi god by three of the other demi gods seeing my actions. Now we needed the approval of their father and I could be one.

"You are welcome to stay here for the time being, I shall invite Cecilia and Josh over tomorrow to present our case to father. You should be happy even if he rejects, not many outsider souls get to see father's palace." said Alexander as he got off his throne and headed to another corner of the room. He snapped his fingers and a puddle appeared which quickly shifted shape to form a bed of water.

"I suggest you rest up, even if you did only take a body for a few seconds. The trial for such an honor usually lasts for a while." said Alexander. "That's right I'm going to sleep now." he added. I felt happy as I settle down next to his bed and began to rest, it wasn't more than 5 minutes before I was fully rested again and waited for tomorrow to roll around. I would have a chance at a permanent body and one with actual power. I was terribly excited.

I watched out the window as the sky slowly, very agonizingly slowly turned dark and then waited for the rising of the sun. man it sucked not having the ability to actually sleep...
