Cooper and his friend Jason are joined on their trip to the shooting range by Bailey, a tough girl who is skilled with a rifle but not at all with romance. After the range trip Cooper and Bailey find themselves left along together and stumble their way into each other's pants.

Tiny snowflakes danced their way down to the ground from an overcast sky, Cooper knew that they were likely the last of the year as he watched them through the windshield of his friend's car. Jason had just put the vehicle in park and turned the radio down to almost nothing as the sound of three seatbelts unbuckling replaced the scratchy sound of the FM radio as it struggled to find a clear signal. As the belts slid back the occupants opened their doors and stepped out in the swirling flurries. The wintery air tingled Cooper's nose as he stepped out onto the asphalt as the small flakes melted upon contact. The long winter had acclimated the canine to these conditions so despite his light attire of long sleeve red colored university shirt and jeans was quite comfortable. Cooper closed the car door with a dull whump, the window's heavy tint reflecting the golden color of the yellow lab's face as the other's closed theirs, his reflection wiggling from the impact. He was pleased to see that his slightly shaggy looking dirty blonde hair was still ruffled just the way he liked it after the car ride.

Cooper looked up, adjusting his square framed glasses as Jason clicked his keyfob and popped the trunk. The lid swung open on its own with only a mild creak as the three gathered around. Jason, a lanky looking tuxedo patterned cat shuffled his shoulders from the cold as he picked up his black rifle case from the small pile of rifle and handgun cases before handing Cooper his olive drab one. Jason wore a dark blue fleece jacket with black pants, his lighter frame and thinner fur proving ill suited to even this mild cold. One long gun case remained, unlike the others this one was made of aged brown leather. Its owner graciously accepted it from the black and white feline before also slinging the heavy, ammo-laiden range bag over her shoulder. Cooper didn't know much about this girl other than that her name was Bailey, that she was Jason's friend from work and had asked to come to the range with them as the two friends tried out some new firearms they had purchased. She was a large German shepherd, dark furred with a strong build and a serious look that was partially obscured by the bangs of her just-longer-than shoulder length black hair . She wore gray work pants with a black hoodie and well used work boots. Cooper couldn't quite make out the words on the hoodie but from the strange font and collection of skulls he assumed that it was some obscure metal band.

“You ready man?" Jason asked his long time friend, the cat's face brimming with excitement.

“Hell yeah dude." Cooper answered back in a somewhat flat tone, his mind already looking through the scope.

Jason closed the car's truck, the hinge repeating its squeak from earlier as Bailey spoke.

“So you both have memberships here?" The shepherd asked as she flicked her hair out of her eyes.

“Mhm." Cooper nodded his head as Jason made for the entrance. “We started coming here a few years ago, it's a good place, clean and with decent ammo prices."

“C'mon guys!" Jason called from under the soffit, the slim feline eager to be out of the cold.

“Yeah yeah!" his friend called back, giving Bailey one last look as their conversation was cut short.

The interior of the building was rather simple, gray walls and carpet with drop ceiling, but the rows of rifles hung up on the walls more than made up for the bland decor. In the middle of the room was an island of class cases all containing various handguns apart from the front one which contained an assortment of optics and suppressors. An employee stood behind a computer screen, the tall wolf looking past the monitor as three fresh customers walked in. The wall to their far right was nothing but ammunition displayed on tall shelves while bulk boxes were kept on the floor underneath. Cooper and Jason were used to all of this by now and confidently strode up to the jacked wolf behind the counter, his ball cap adorned with a military patch from his former unit. He greeted them both by name before turning his attention to Bailey.

“You boys brought a friend this time?" He said in a friendly, heavily accented voice as the shepherd leaned her rifle case against the counter.

“Something like that." Bailey replied, leaning on her elbow in a relaxed pose to show that she wasn't at all intimidated.

“Sweet, well I'll just have to have you fill out this waiver here and we'll get ya all set."

A clipboard clacked down against the glass as the wolf clicked a pen and handed it to Bailey who didn't bother reading the legal jargon printed on the sheet of paper before signing her name boldly on the line at the bottom.

“Alright, and are y'all gonna be needin' any ammo today or are y'all set?" He asked, pointing back and forth between the three of them.

“Nah man I think we've got everything but if we need something we'll holler." Copper replied, picking up his rifle case.

“Cool cool, well y'all have the range to yourself right now so just go ahead and take whichever lanes you want."

“Awesome, thanks man!" Jason said, the eagerness still present in his voice as he led the charge out to the firing line.

Indeed the range was totally empty apart from the safety officer tucked away in his warm office. Cooper and Jason greeted him with a wave as the trio donned their hearing protection before entering the building. The range building itself was enclosed on three sides with concrete walls and floor and a series of segregated shooting lanes, each with a bench for two people. Downrange lay a whole crowd of brightly painted steel targets, some were just squares or rectangles while some popped down and back up when shot and others had moveable parts to simulate shooting drills. The maximum range wasn't all that far at only about one hundred and fifty yards but it was more than enough to have fun. A light dusting of snow was beginning to build up on the ground downrange and all three were thankful for the powerful space heaters keeping the open firing line warm.

“Here let's take the two in the middle." Cooper suggested, the others nodded their approval and began setting their gear up.

Cooper set his things down in the middle lane as Jason took the one next to him which left the other space in Cooper's lane open for Bailey. He was keen to see what the big shepherd had brought today and he didn't have to wait long as she began to unzip the leather case she had brought.

“Woah…" The word was almost a gasp as the sight of a beautiful M14 emerged from the distressed leather.

This wasn't a reproduction but a proper rifle, its walnut stock gleaming in the fluorescent lighting of the range. Suddenly the yellow lab felt a twinge of jealousy as he unsheathed his modern AR. The black rifle was fitted out with a new 4X optic, front grip, flash hider and white light. Several paychecks had gone into kitting out the new build and these were the first shots besides those he'd taken to zero the optic. One bay over Jason slid his new rifle out of its case, it was similar to Cooper's except for the red dot and magnifier.

“That is a beautiful rifle." Cooper replied with a surprised chuckle, of all the guns he expected her to pull out of that case, an immaculate M14 was not one of them.

“This was my grandfather's, I inherited most of his collection when he passed." Bailey said as she started fishing magazines out of the pouches sewn into the inside of the rifle case.

The trio had taken the time to load their magazines before setting off for the range, their bag containing extra cartridges in their retail boxes or loose in small ammo crates.

“Thanks, I try to take good care of it." Bailey's eyes were focused on the rifle as she clicked the steel magazine into place.

'Alright let's see what you can do…' the lab thought to himself as he watched Bailey take aim.

The rifle boomed, the concussion from the report rattling Cooper for a moment as Bailey's body absorbed the recoil, the loud ringing of steel from her hit adding to the cacophony. The yellow lab smiled to himself as he slid his polymer magazine into his rifle and hit the bolt release, sending it into battery with an audible metallic snap. Bringing the weapon up to his shoulder Cooper centered the red illuminated chevron the head of the farthest silhouette target, controlling his breathing as he switched the safety off and gently squeezed the trigger. The rifle recoiled softly into his shoulder, but his head rang from the blast of two shots as Bailey squeezed off a round at the same time, the two bullets impacting mere centimeters apart from one another on the same target. Moments later a shot from Jason rang out and struck the plate of a hostage taker target, the small steel plate violently swinging to the other side of the otherwise normal silhouette target. Cooper flipped his safety back on and brought his face away from his scope, the canine content to watch Bailey shoot for a moment. Her face was one of pure concentration as she peered through the peephole of the rifle's iron sights, the hefty recoil of the powerful 7.62 cartridge barely affecting her tough frame as she fired.

'Does she lift or something? Normally a rifle like that would put a girl on her ass.' He mused to himself as he watched the woman ring steel.

It wasn't long before Bailey had expended her twenty rounds of ammunition and she dropped the rifle from her shoulder.

“Damn girl, you didn't miss once!" Cooper exclaimed in a complimentary tone as he pressed the stock of his own rifle against his shoulder.

“I've been shooting this one since I was about 13 or so, it used to put me on my rear!" the shepherd replied with a pleased smile as she observed her handiwork, the adrenaline of firing such a weapon still coursing through her veins.

“Alright, your turn!" She continued, gesturing at Cooper as her tail wagged behind her.

'Heh, no pressure.' The lab thought to himself as he peered once again through his scope and flicked the safety off.

He was thankful in that moment that he had sprung for a nicer trigger with this rifle, the one out of the box had been a bit heavy for his liking and this new one had a perfect weight and pull. With 4X magnification he was able to nail each of his shots, his smaller 5.56 bullets smacking the targets with a lesser but still satisfying clang. As he felt the bolt lock back on the last round he deftly dropped the mag and loaded a fresh one. Pressing the bolt release he returned the weapon to his shoulder and let another thirty rounds fly downrange, again repeating his feat of landing all thirty on target.

“Not bad, not bad." Bailey nodded as Cooper set the now smoking rifle down on the table and looked over at the dark furred shepherd.

“I'd say that was pretty damn good!" the golden colored lab playfully retorted.

“Yeah, and I did all that with iron sights!"

“Well yeah, but it's short range, plus I did it quicker." Cooper said, continuing the playful banter.

“Dude I live on a six thousand acre ranch, I can shoot long range too." Bailey replied in a matter of fact but still light tone.

'Ah so that explains it, farm girl.' He thought silently as Bailey's strong build and skill with a powerful rifle now made a lot more sense.

“Well tell you what, the last two lanes over there are for pistols, why don't we take ours over there and settle this?" Cooper's face wore a clever smile as he posed the challenge to Bailey, his words partially interrupted by Jason's blasting.

“Hah! You're on!" Bailey chuckled confidently as she set her rifle down and grabbed her pistol case.

The pistol targets were naturally closer to the firing line than the rifle targets and consisted of a set of dueling trees and a pair of spinner targets while the ground was littered with various sizes of small popper targets. As Cooper set his case down his mind raced with the possibilities of what she might have brought in hers. After the M14 the yellow lad had a sneaking suspicion of what Bailey's handgun might be.

'Yup, just as I thought.' He mused as the shepherd opened the plastic clamshell case to reveal an old Government model M1911.

“Alright 'Ol Yeller, 10 bucks says I can flip that spinner target faster than you." Bailey challenged the golden colored canine as he brought out his desert tan 9mm with its flashlight and red dot optic.

“And I'll bet you 20 I can clear that dueling tree before you!" He retorted playfully.

Bailey pondered and scoffed, she had hoped that Cooper would have been arrogant enough in his own skills to take the bait. She knew her .45 would flip the spinner target well before Cooper's 9mm, but she hadn't accounted for him being smart enough to catch that while also understanding that the extra ten rounds in his magazine would school her on the dueling tree.

“Why don't we do this instead," Cooper piped up as Jason continued blasting further down the firing line. “Why don't we try and shoot each other's pistols? See if our skills carry over."

Bailey took a moment to think about it before speaking, the dark shepherd raising her voice over the booming rifle and ringing steel.

“Alright, sure, you're on!"

The pair switched places in front of the shooting bench before picking up their respective weapons. It had been a while since Cooper had handled a 1911, and this was his first authentic non-custom one. Its weight in his hand was impressive compared to his polymer framed modern pistol, it balanced well also but the iron sights left something to be desired. Short and with a tiny groove Cooper wondered how he was supposed to hit anything with them. Meanwhile Bailey wasn't sure what to make of the plastic framed piece she'd been given. It took her a moment to find the dot when she took aim and overall the weapon felt foreign and strange to her.

'Hmm, not sure about this one…' She thought to herself as she locked the slide back and grabbed a magazine out of Cooper's box.

The yellow lab to her right did the same, sliding a magazine into her 1911.

“Ready?" He asked with a sly smile, looking over at her as he held the pistol in a ready position.

“Show me what you got big dog." Bailey teased in return as she aimed through the red dot.

Two shots rang out in quick succession as each shooter engaged their respective spinner target. The effect of the heavier .45 was evident as the bottom plate flew back several inches farther than the one shot with the 9. The stout recoil caught Cooper by surprise, he expected it to be more than what he was used to but the older style of grip seemed to punish his hand more than he thought it would. Shifting his grip he took aim at the top target as it began to move back, but the crude sights played tricks on his eyes and the bullet went sailing passed while Bailey's impacted with force and put her in the lead. Cooper steadied himself and took aim again, this time hitting his mark as his opponent continued to make use of the modern optic. It was a close battle, but the miss at the beginning would prove to be Cooper's undoing as Bailey got her target over just moments before Cooper.

“I don't know how to feel about that." She declared as she observed the still spinning steel targets.

“Old isn't always gold." Cooper replied as he set the empty .45 down on the bench as Bailey instinctively searched for a non-existent safety on Cooper's gun.

“Uh huh, and how much did you pay for all of this?" Bailey asked, her question was more of a challenge as she unloaded and made safe Cooper's handgun.

“Less than what some old fart at a show is gonna charge for one like yours."

“Muh two world wars!" He continued in a mocking tone.

“Don't act like you weren't just drooling over my M14!" Bailey playfully retorted as the duo swapped places again.

Cooper rolled his eyes, he knew that he'd been beat in their little back and forth. Savoring another victory Bailey loaded another one of her magazines into her pistol as each one returned to their familiar platform and soon the sound of pistol fire once again joined the bark of Jason's rifle as everyone slung their chosen lead downrange. The trio continued as the sun tracked its path across the sky, Cooper and Bailey eventually returned to their rifles and everyone got to try out each other's piece. It was well into the afternoon when they finally decided that enough money had been blasted at the targets, their empty bellies also reminding them that lunchtime had come and gone. As they packed up and headed back through the showroom Jason stopped to buy himself another case of rifle ammunition, and as the tall wolf rang him up Cooper noticed Bailey peeking at the new handguns in the glass cases.

'Ha, got you…' He mused to himself.

“That was fun." Cooper declared as the trio approached the car, their shoulders tingling from the stout recoil of the M14.

“Thanks for letting me tag along today guys, I needed that." Bailey replied as Jason pressed the trunk release button on his key fob.

“No problem, hey maybe someday you'll let us come shoot on that ranch you were talking about." The yellow lab set his various cases down in the back of the car as he spoke, his weapons joining his friends as he made way for the shepherd.

“Ha! Then maybe you can challenge my dad to a shooting contest." She chuckled as she set her things down and closed the trunk.

“Is that what y'all were doing over there?" Jason asked as he stood next to the open driver door.

“Yeah I was whooping his ass" Bailey chuckled as she opened her door.

Cooper merely rolled his eyes once again as he joined the pair of them in the car.

The lid to the green garbage bin next to the house dropped closed with a hollow thud as it sealed in three fast food bags. Cooper had paid for Bailey's cheeseburger as penance for her winning the contest earlier, she had protested at first but as soon as she popped a french fry in her mouth and felt the warmth of salty, unhealthy food after an afternoon of shooting the shepherd softened her attitude and thanked him. Inside, the soft couch was a welcome comfort after the hard wooden benches at the range and then the sub-par seats of Jason's base model car. Jason rented the small house with two of his friends, one of which shared his room with his girlfriend. It was the kind of rental where everything was painted with the cheapest most durable white paint the landlord could find and kitted out with the most basic fittings from the hardware store. Upon entering the front door there was a small living room to the left while the kitchen and dining room were to the right while in the middle a hallway stretched back containing the bed and bathrooms.

With the kitchen table adorned with weapon cases Cooper sat his feet up on the coffee table as Bailey lounged on the other end of the couch with a cushion in between them. Jason stood opposite the duo, his left hand resting on the back of a plush rocking chair while his right held his phone up to his ear.

“Okay so you're gonna grab them…you want me to run out and pick up beer? Yeah…yeah no problem, alright man."

The lithe tuxedo cat turned to his friends after ending the call.

“So Brad and Tucker want to have some people over, do y'all want to come with me to the store or are you good to chill here?" He asked, pointing back and forth between the two on the couch.

“I think I'm good, I might hang out with them for a little bit but…" Cooper's sentence trailed off as he rubbed the back of his head.

“What about you Bailey? Do you wanna come with me, or are you gonna hang out here? Or hit the road, I don't know what time you want to be home." Jason continued, turning his attention to the dark furred shepherd lounging on his sofa.

“I can be home whenever, I'll hang out for a little bit sure." She said, leaning forward to meet the cat's eyes.

“Cool cool, well I'll be back in about a half hour, the others should be back around then too." Jason spun his keys around his finger while he spoke as he prepared to head out on the road once again.

“Alright man, be careful." Cooper called out as Jason slipped out of the door leaving him and Bailey alone.

Silence descended on the humble rental as Bailey surveyed her surroundings. She hadn't been able to get a good look at the inside of the house when they had been getting ready to go to the range. It was obvious to her that three dudes lived here, what with the minimal decor apart from a few posters with bikini clad models on them and a large “Caturdays are for the boys" flag hanging on the wall to her left. But it was also clear that the small house had a woman's touch as well, for one the house actually smelled rather pleasant and was kept fairly clean. How much of that was the singular girlfriend's doing and how much was her whipping the boys into shape, she wasn't sure. There was also a rather cute looking plant on both the coffee and dinner tables while the fridge contained real food rather than just lunch meat and beer.

“So uh…I guess your dad taught you how to shoot?" Cooper asked, the yellow lab clearing his throat as he broke the silence and interrupted Bailey's observations.

“Yeah, him and my granddad, that old man could shoot the wings off a fly even in his later years." Bailey looked off in the distance as her mind conjured up a nostalgic image of her grandfather.

“You're lucky, I had to teach myself for the most part, my dad had a little .22 but we hardly ever shot it."

“So how'd you get into shooting then?" Bailey asked, she was surprised that Cooper was self taught given his evident level of skill.

The golden canine chuckled to himself, his darker caramel colored ears flopping as his body shifted.

“Don't make fun of me, but it was mainly videogames and movies, then later I started watching some of the videos people uploaded online and felt a bit jealous of some of the cool shit they had."

Cooper tried to maintain a cool and collected outer demeanor as he spilled his story out in front of Bailey. Though despite his best efforts she could still sense the trepidation in his voice, the hand rubbing the back of his head selling his true emotions once again. There was something about this girl that put him on the back foot, she was a farm girl who dressed like a goth mall chick who had managed to beat him in a shooting contest. This glaring discrepancy in stereotypes caught the young canine off guard, especially now as she gave him her undivided attention. Normally women's eyes glazed over or suddenly bore an off put expression when the topic of firearms came up, for her to be so interested in his hobby, and invested in it herself was something that he wasn't quite prepared for.

“Hey, I mean you must be doing something right because you're pretty damn good for being self taught." Her matter of fact tone nearly concealed the fact that her statement was a compliment as Cooper took it in.

“...Oh so NOW you say nice things about me!" He joked, a cheesy smile confirming that his comeback was humorous.

“Well…I mean credit where it's due." Bailey joked back, a smile offsetting her dismissive tone.

“So tell me a bit about this ranch of yours, that sounds like a sweet deal." Cooper said in a friendly tone as he shifted the conversation.

Bailey flicked her hair to the side, her eyes once more turning to the ceiling as she formulated her answer, her fingers twiddling with the drawstrings of her hoodie.

“Yeah it's…it's pretty nice, it's got a good view of the mountains, plenty of woods and pasture for the cattle."

“It's been in your family for a while?"

“Oh yeah, like ninety years or something like that." The shepherd nodded her head in confirmation as she spoke.

“Damn, that must be nice, I grew up in town here, I always wanted some chickens but my parents said no." Cooper tried to dispel the sad memory of being denied a flock of chickens with a small chuckle, but Bailey could see through it.

“It's not bad I guess, hard work but I get paid well for it...also I don't think your neighbors would appreciate a crowing rooster at the ass crack of dawn every day." She said in a mildly sarcastic tone with a hint of a smile.

'Wow she really was raised by men…' Cooper thought to himself.

“Ha…yeah I guess." The lab looked down at his feet which by now had come off the table.

“So uh, what do you do Cooper? Like, for work?" Bailey said as she took her turn in the back and forth.

“Oh, um…I'm a, uh, computer programmer…always been kind of a geek I guess." He answered with a nervous chuckle, once more rubbing the back of his head.

“I admit I don't know fuck all about computers man, we never had one growing up except for the one in the accountant's office."

“Wait, you guys had an accountant?" The surprise was evident in Cooper's tone, his lack of knowledge in her family's industry being put on full display.

“Oh yeah dude, farm taxes are a bitch, er…so to speak."

The pair shared a brief chuckle before once more silence descended on the cramped living room, the television remaining blank as Cooper tried to think of what to say next. He wasn't sure where he wanted things to go between him and this girl. It had been so long since his last relationship that he wasn't even sure how to flirt anymore, or if he even wanted to right now. Cooper had never been the kind of guy to strictly adhere to a “type" when it came to women, his fit but still rather nerdy outward appearance meant that he couldn't be particularly picky in that regard. But still, he'd never pictured a girl like Bailey when thinking of what the “perfect" woman might look like. For one she was bigger than he was in almost every area, he had the edge in height but only by the slimmest of margins, and even that could be down to the soles of their shoes. But she was clearly stronger and better built than he was, her lifetime of farmwork sculpting her body into shape. At the range he had been too focused to bother checking her out, and even now he found it difficult as her baggy hoodie blocked most of her upper features. But despite all of that he could tell that she was quite attractive, even though her body was dense and heavy looking, her broad shoulders and generous hips bore the muscle weight well. Her pointy ears and dark fur gave her a stern, almost intimidating look which was somewhat offset by her fluffy shepherd tail sticking out between her knees as she sat on it. There were a few patches of a darker but plainly visible brown in her sea of near black fur, namely behind her ears and down the backside of her arms. Cooper wondered where else that particular color was located, the thought causing a rather sultry image of the girl laying naked on a bed, spread legged and open armed flashed across his mind.

“So um…are you, ya know, like seeing anybody or…I guess it can be kind of hard to meet people if you live on a ranch." Cooper stumbled through the sentence, the words spilling out of his mouth as he had started the sentence without thinking and panicked halfway through.

Again silence engulfed the pair as Cooper mentally kicked himself for making it weird. He could see Bailey's ears flick as she heard the question and he knew that he'd doomed himself.

“Ah…well yeah you'd be right about that, I uh…yeah." Bailey laughed slightly and shook her head a bit, Cooper wasn't sure if she was shaking it at his question, or her situation.

“What about you? Any girls in your life or just the ones on your computer?" She retorted, restoring her cool exterior with a mischievous smile.

Her question may have been a jab at him, but it put Cooper at ease as he realized that she wasn't offended by his prodding.

“Oh Ha Ha," He mocked, rolling his eyes for her to see before he continued. “No I'm totally single, I was seeing someone in college for a bit but…it didn't work out. I uh…I don't get many opportunities either." Cooper said in a conciliatory tone as he locked eyes with the shepherd.

Bailey didn't respond immediately, to Cooper it looked as if the dusky canine was suddenly lost in thought as her eyes gazed off into nothingness.

'This isn't how I expected this to go, but maybe? If she's thinking what I think she is…the same as what I'm thinking…ugh…swallow a brave pill Coop…' He ruminated as he observed the shepherd.

It was a risk, but with a potential opening this wide he knew that he had to take his chances or be cursed forever by the thoughts of what could have been if he'd just been a little bit braver. Taking a deep breath Cooper scooted himself closer to Bailey, not enough for their hips to touch but enough for her to feel his weight as he sat himself back down next to her. The motion snapped her out of whatever introspection she was in the middle of as the pair locked eyes.

“I think I know what's in your head, because it's in mine too." Cooper said, lowering his voice and trying his best to sound sure of himself.

“Oh really? What do you think is in our heads?" Bailey replied in a similar tone, the shepherd clearly laying down a challenge to the lab.

“It would be easier to show you." His voice was just above a whisper now.

There was a pause as Bailey thought the matter over, Cooper could just about see the mini civil war taking place behind the shepherd's eyes.

“Alright, then show me."

Bailey's voice wavered as her nerves cracked her well built facade. Cooper noticed and took advantage of it, she may have been more skilled with a firearm but Cooper had the clear edge in romance despite his rust. Slowly he leaned his snout towards hers, his tail starting to wag behind him as Bailey's also started to move. It was a good sign, but he was still sure to be slow in case she decided to back out. He knew it was a possibility as he felt her breaths quicken as his snout inched closer to her. But to his relief the dark shepherd cocked her head to one side to let their noses slip past each other as their muzzles touched. Despite the flood of relief It was clear immediately that Bailey didn't really know how to kiss, but her efforts to keep up endeared her to Cooper as their tongues began to dance with one another. He could feel the nervous tremors from her body as he placed his right hand on her thigh while his left gently cupped the soft fur on the side of her face. He ignored the taste of fast food still lingering on Bailey's tongue as they made out, the lab basking in the pride of his victory. Bailey's eyes closed as she leaned into the kiss, the weight of her head settling in Cooper's hand while his other one slowly slid up her thigh.

“K-keep going…I want this…" She whispered, breaking the kiss momentarily as she felt Cooper's hand working its way up her leg.

The lab was more than happy to oblige her request as the pair dove into another deep kiss. This time the hand on her thigh wasted no time in reaching all the way up between the shepherd's legs. This time it was Cooper who broke the kiss, as rather than feeling the smooth curve of a woman's groin he felt the familiar bulky feeling of a concealed sidearm.

“Hey! What do we have here?" He said sarcastically as he rubbed the crease in her jeans.

“Did you expect anything less?" Bailey chuckled, the nerves leaving her body as the pair shared a laugh at themselves.

Leaning back the toned canine lifted her hoodie to reveal the pistol tucked in an appendix carry holster under her waistband. With a snap of the plastic clip she popped the holster off and set it and its contents down on the coffee table. Cooper observed the piece as she lay it down, he recognized it as a 9mm, but an older design, full sized and with an all metal frame.

'I guess she would be big enough to conceal a full size.' He thought as Bailey leaned back.

“Oh yeah, that reminds me."

In the heat of the moment Cooper had forgotten his own concealed carry piece, and in a similar manner to Bailey he unclipped the firearm and laid it down on the table next to hers. In his typical fashion, Cooper's pistol was a modern compact piece, tan like his full size and with a matching colored flashlight mounted to it.

“Tch, naturally." Bailey mused aloud as Cooper leaned back in to pick up where they left off.

This time he went right for gold with his hand, cupping the girl's crotch as their tongues wrestled for dominance. He felt Bailey lean into it, rocking her hips against his touch as she rubbed herself on him. Cooper used the texture of his jeans to his advantage, pressing with his fingers right where he knew she'd feel it the most. Her warmth enveloped his digits as her legs reflexively pinned him in place, her hips fidgeting even more as he felt a gasp escape her throat. The golden lab pressed his advantage, sliding his hand further back underneath the shepherd and pressing firmly with his fingers. He felt the resulting moan in his mouth as she let if fly while they kissed.

“S-stop…teasing!" She cried with a firm dose of desperation in her voice.

“But I like teasing." Cooper taunted as he pressed home his advance.

A low growl emanated from deep within Bailey's chest, the shepherd nipping at her lover's snout to signal her displeasure at his pestering. Rather than be offended or afraid, the more experienced lab knew that her growls and nips were normal for female canines, it was all a part of the unwritten rules of mating, a natural part of the instincts that were now carrying them. Still, Cooper knew that he needed to give her what she wanted. Pulling his hand back up out of the pressing warmth between her legs the lab worked the tip of his fingers underneath the waistband of Bailey's underwear. The elastic was tight against him, held firm by her still buttoned pants as he wiggled his way deeper. The Shepherd's fur down there was surprisingly thick, it was clear that she let things grow rather wild between her legs. Bushy women had never turned Cooper on before, but the feeling of his hand plowing through her dense crotch fluff, the fur slightly damp from her sweat, turned him on like a light. The floppy eared canine now felt the soft fabric of his bamboo underwear slide against the fleshy skin of his penis as it pressed out of his sheath. Bailey continued to growl as Cooper shifted his head lower, it was his turn now to nip as he held a small bit of loose neck skin with his teeth. It wasn't enough to hurt the girl, but she felt it, her growls changing from signalling for him to get on with it to telling him that under no circumstances should he stop.

“Fuck…I can't believe we're actually doing this…" She whispered after another low and sensual growl escaped her.

“Shhhh, just relax, tell me if you want me to stop." Cooper reassured in a soft voice as he relaxed his jaws.

“No no, keep going, it's just…I've…I've never uh, done this before…" The embarrassment was evident in her voice as she spoke, the primal energy slipping out of her body.

It was like a lightning bolt shot through Cooper's brain, part of it from surprise and part from a primitive urge to rut and tie her right then and there. But he quickly settled himself as he accepted the fact that he was dealing with a virgin, the importance of getting things right suddenly weighing heavy on him as he chose his next words carefully.

“You're okay Bailey, just lean back and let me take care of you." He whispered the words into her ear in as soothing and sultry a tone as he could muster.

As the shepherd's body sunk into the sofa Cooper resumed his touch, albeit with a far gentler approach. The boy timed his moves perfectly as he planted a tender kiss on her neck just as his middle finger gingerly slid over Bailey's virgin cleft, her supple lips parting to allow his finger to slide against her most sensitive spots while her powerful thighs clamped around his hand.

“Unnf!" A sharp moan flew out from behind clenched teeth as Bailey's back arched, her body tensing as a bolt of tingly pleasure shot up her spine.

“Shhhh, relax girl…" Cooper soothed as he held the tip of his finger in place, the minimal pressure he applied was still enough to get a reaction out of her.

“I-I'm trying!" She huffed out, desperation filling her voice.

“Here, unbutton these." Cooper gestured to the shepherd's pants with his nose as his free left hand was pinned between his body and the backrest.

“Oh, y-yeah."

Bailey fumbled with the button for a moment before the jeans popped free and released the slight amount of belly pudge the shepherd possessed. The easing of pressure on his wrist was soothing for Cooper, though he kept that hidden as Bailey worked the zipper down.

“Thank goodness I didn't wear one of my big ass belt buckles today!" She chuckled nervously, her tough facade now thoroughly demolished.

Cooper just smiled as he tucked his snout back into the nape of her neck, his finger beginning to move in small circular motions. He could feel the wetness of her arousal already, her fur was thoroughly soaked with it and soon the first half of his finger was drenched. The smell of a horny female canine saturated the lab's nostrils as it wafted up from between her legs. The crotch of Bailey's bright purple underwear were tented from Cooper's hand as he gradually upped the pace. He could feel and hear Bailey's reaction as her hips wiggled and gentle, feminine moans slipped out of her snout. He knew right where to touch, just above her slit in the soft mound obscured by the bushy tuft of fur. But with her this aroused he knew that it was time to really kick things up a notch.

Coating his finger in her natural juices Cooper pressed into Bailey's pussy, parting her folds until he found the tight entrance to her sex. The shepherd felt what he was doing and braced for a moment before forcing herself to relax. Once Cooper felt the tension leave her body he pushed with a steady but gentle pressure until he felt the slick warmth of her interior envelop his digit.

“AH!" The loud gasp filled Cooper's ear's as Bailey's mouth hung open in a steady “O" face, her eyes wide as she felt her first real penetration.

Cooper resumed his soft bite on the shepherd's neck as he sunk his finger deeper, the boy basking in the warmth of a girl's vagina for the first time in a long while. He was somewhat surprised as he slid all the way in, from what he could feel Bailey's hymen was already long gone. He wasn't bothered by it, there were any number of explanations from an early experiment with a hairbrush handle, a sex toy kept secret in her nightstand or even a horse's saddle might do it.

“Mmmmm!" Bailey moaned from a closed mouth as her jaws finally clamped shut, the sound breaking Cooper's train of thought as the virgin shepherd still learned to cope with the feeling of a real flesh and blood lover inside her.

Cooper gently curled his finger just a little bit inside her, his teeth biting down just a little bit harder as he let his lover know that he was far from finished with her. The move elicited another sharp moan and hip wiggle. The lab shifted his body as he continued his beckoning finger motion, freeing his other hand that he then used to pull back the waistband of Bailey's panties. Seeing what he was doing the horny shepherd lifted her butt off the sofa and whisked them the rest of the way down before setting her rear on the cushion once again, this time flicking her tail up and out of the way. The move caused her pants to fall past her knees thus allowing her to spread her legs farther for the lab. Cooper took advantage of the extra space as he finally got to look at what he was dealing with, though to him it just looked like his finger disappeared into a sea of brown fluff. Bailey's newfound state of undress did at least answer the lab's burning question from earlier, the shepherd's belly, groin and a good part of her inner thighs were a lovely brown color that reminded him of a dark roux. A strip of a barely lighter gray adorned her flanks and disappeared up her sides under her hoodie and down her legs, sandwiching the dark black color between the inner brown tones. Her crotch was the lightest, the upper part of her inner thigh and the fur around her genitals themselves being a pleasant caramel color with a hint of pink blush.

“Fuck…Cooper…K-keep going!" She stammered as she watched the lab withdraw his digit and pull his palm back to get a good look at her snatch.

He could just about see her neat slit through the dense pubic fur as the tip of his finger remained tucked in her tunnel. Releasing his teeth Cooper licked Bailey's cheek as he lined up his ring finger with her hole. Bailey bit her lip as she saw what he was doing, the shepherd steadying herself to receive a double.

“This is not how I imagined today going…" Bailey whispered, more to herself than to Cooper as he started to press into her.

“OH…FUCK!" The shepherd moaned, her legs lifting and her fingers gripping the sofa cushions as her lover pressed his digits into her.

The girl's arousal aided things as Cooper slid inside, the ridges and bumps of her inner walls welcoming him once again as he curled the tips of his fingers against her G-spot, the yellow lab's teeth once again holding onto the nape of her neck. This time the palm of the boy's hand played a part, with his fingers all the way inside the pad naturally resting right on the puffy bit of mound he had teased earlier. His motions were once again sending tingly jolts of pleasure up the girl's spine as he hit all of her buttons.

'Not long now…' Cooper mused as he felt his lover's body tense up.

'She's pretty easy to pop, guess she doesn't have much experience.

Cooper didn't let up as he felt Bailey's body tense up, he knew what he was doing was working. Barely audible but increasingly desperate sounding f-bombs slipped from the shepherd's mouth as those noble fingers curled and flexed inside her, the teeth biting into her neck triggering a primal reaction from her body as she let the last of her barriers down and allowed her body to take control.

“Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck, OH FUUU-"

Bailey's orgasm was explosive, her body clenched and curled, her ass nearly lifting off the seat from the force of it. A small whistling noise escaped her lips as her face scrunched up. But as quickly as she clenched she unfurled, pressing her head back into the cushion as her hips lifted off the cushion. This time her vocalizations were far louder as she let out a brief but near shrill scream. Cooper felt a jet of hot wetness impact his palm and soak the fur between the girl's legs, and subsequently the sofa underneath them. His ears flicked from the volume her lungs put out while his fingers felt like they'd been clamped in a vice as her pussy tried its best to milk them. With a loud gasp her body suddenly relaxed and collapsed back onto the couch, her eyes pinned open.

“Holy SHIT!" She cursed as her breaths came in short bursts.

“God damn girl…" Cooper chuckled as he withdrew his soggy digits.

“Look what you did." He continued in a joking tone, holding up his glistening fingers.

Bailey said nothing as her breathing steadied, her eyes locked on the shiny digits held before her. She had no clue where the notion came from, but in a smooth motion she grabbed the golden furred wrist and brought Cooper's hand to her mouth. The yellow lab gazed in awe as the shepherd's mouth enveloped the fingers he'd just made her cum with. Her tongue curled and wrapped around the juiced covered fingers, the taste of her own snatch flooding her senses as she cleaned him off. Her snout tried to follow as Cooper withdrew his now saliva coated appendages, his face full of shock and pure reverence.

'If I had a ring somewhere…' He joked to himself as he suddenly saw Bailey's eyes go wide.

“Cooper…" She said, her voice taking on a sudden tone of dread.

“What time is it?"

“Oh FUCK!" The lab shouted, ignoring the painful boner he now sported as his dick tried to break out of his pants.

“Where the fuck is my phone WHERE!" He shouted, searching the coffee table as Bailey desperately shoved herself back into her pants.

“Here here!" Bailey called, tossing him the device.

Rapidly he unlocked it, a singular text appearing at the top of the screen.

“Be back in like 15." The yellow lab read out.

“When was that sent?"

“...Five minutes ago."

The pair looked into each other's panicked eyes as they realized the gravity of their error.

“Um, I'll uh…get a blanket for that…" Cooper pointed to the rather awkward wet spot on the sofa.

“Better get some spray too, it smells like cunt in here." Bailey said in a matter of fact tone as she moved to open a window.

“Right…"

With the windows open and half a can of air freshener sprayed the small house was mostly restored to its original state, although the pair of them hoped that nobody caught a whiff of what lay under the folded blanket Cooper had tossed over the spot Bailey had made when she blasted off on his fingers.

“Alright, I think that's good." The lab stated as he surveyed the living room, the sound of a car's brakes filtering in from the window as Jason and his roommates arrived.

“Oh shit, the guns!" Bailey called out in a hushed tone as she pointed out their concealed carry pieces left on the coffee table.

Hurriedly the couple reattached their holsters as a key fumbled in the lock. Cooper's breath caught in his throat as the moment of truth rapidly approached. His focus was so preoccupied that he missed the black snout closing in on his ear.

“I'll pay you back for that later." Bailey whispered as the front door swung open.
