Chapter 7: The New Beginning, part I

Several months past with little trouble for Zack, Auria or the Avian brothers. Much to everyone's pleasure, there was a peace that they hadn't had in a long time and were making the best of it. Most days they would travel around the countryside talking amongst themselves explaining questions that they had for each other. As it turned out the Avians had been blackmailed into working for Auria's brother by threatening the entire village if they didn't work for him. When they agreed to work for him, they were temporarily overtaken by Ra'thnin and before they regained control, they had killed the village leader, Auria's mother; Taomon. (As it turned out they had their own names as well, Pyro, the oldest by 1 minute and had the ability to manipulate fire, and Aquos whom had the ability to manipulate water). Auria's sister, to both Auria and Zack's surprise, apparently was still very much alive.

"Wait a minute," Zack said, "Auria I distinctly remember you telling me that you were not only the last one in your family but that the only other person who does exist within your bloodline is your brother. And now they said you have a sister? What is going on?"

Auria laughed a little nervously, "Well...she isn't my sister....exactly...she is actually the only other person that my mother performed the blood ritual on, aside from you love."

"So she's kind of like a half-sister?"

"Exactly,"

"Okay, I think I get it but now I have one last question, is she a renamon or a human or something else?"

"Why should that matter Zack?" Auria asked curiously, 'Why does that even matter?' she thought.

"No reason love. Really I'm just asking out of curiousity,"

"Well to answer your question, she was my best friend when I was a viximon and she was the only human that stumbled into the digital world without a digimon partner, so the village allowed her to live there under our protection."

"So then she isn't really a renamon but a human without a family basically?"

"That's about it. You and I are all she has left....well us and my father and you'll meet him in a few days," her voice dropped so low that only Zack could hear it, "Don't tell the brothers but we are going to travel to my old village. The renomon now live there and when we arrive, you and I shall be lifemated!"

"Are you serious!? Auria you mean we can?" Zack wispered back in fevered hope.

"Yep love. You and I will be lifemated by none other than my father."

Realizing that the brothers were staring curiously at the wispering couple they laughed nervously and started asking them questions to make up for ignoring them.By the time they finished with everyone's questions, the Avian's in particular, were completely exhausted however felt completely at ease surrounded by their newest friends. As they traveled, they encountered other humans who most, upon seeing Auria, turned and fled in fear of her being wild, until they recognized her in which case they merely apologized and happily went back about their business. Needless to say after the first 10 or so people, Auria was a little more than disheartened.

**Something I might not have explained or not. Digimon have always existed within this world. However as of late, they were becoming increasingly rare and of those that were seen, more than 80% of them were wild and hell-bent on domination over humanity. Naturally humanity then began to strive to fight against all digimon, ignoring the difference between those that meant no harm and those that were destructive to all life. Eventually digimon and their human partners began to appear and as they began to aide both sides (not all tamer partnerships were for the survival of both humans and digimon unfortunately) humanity looked on the tamers as rogues that were immediately seen as a threat and treated as such. More often than not people simple ran from tamers and their partners however, as with Zack and Auria, there were a few cases in which they had to attack humans to defend themselves. Recently however, mostly due to their travels, Zack and Auria (and even the Brothers) were globally recognized as allies that were not to be harmed.**

"Jeez, sometimes I wonder if I should just go dark that way they can all just run in fear like they want," Auria fumed angrily.

"Hey! Come on Auria it's not like they really know better!" Zack replied slightly worried that she was so angry about such a little thing.

"Oh I'm not angry really, it's just frustrating. I know you can hear what they think as they apologize. Half of them didn't even think that I deserved to speak in front of them!"

"Mistress Auria," interupted Pyro, "...with all due respect, why do you care what they think? Quite frankly they are human and as such have little worth."

"Yeah seriously it's odd that you would let them bother you this much," Aquos added.

Suddenly the Brother's found themselves on the ground with a claw to their necks as they heard Auria and even Zack, standing slightly behind her looking down at them intently, growl, "Every life, be it human or digimon, have an incomprehensible worth as each person is different and what makes someone of great "worth" as you put it is their actions in a time of need. If you have forgotten, you were once considered worthless until, at the last moment you surrendered yourselves fully in order to prove you never meant to harm us."

As Auria said this she realized something, "I never did ask you, when you and I were sworn enemies, how is it that you could attack me so mercilessly and then insult me in such ways and yet claim you were an ally."

"Well we did explain that, sorta," replied Aquos.

"Yeah, we told you that your brother had the ability to take our human forms and locked us within a stronger, digital form that he had sole control over until the bodies failed along with your brother's hold on us," said Pyro.

Retracting her claws from their throats, she stood up and helped the boys up from the ground. "Ah, yes that's right you did say something like that didn't you? Alright well, remember what I said, every life has immeasurable worth, it all depends on their actions in a time of need, that is when you see the true worth of a person or digimon for that matter. Oh and stop calling me mistress I've told you that before."

"Um okay then we won't but could tell us why exactly you had to put your claws around our throats to explain that?" asked Pyro as he got up and rubbed his neck slightly nervous.

"I was just trying to...illustrate my 'point'" she said as she started to laugh a little.

As Aquos leaned over to his brother, he wispered, "Okay that was about the lamest joke I've ever heard."

"Maybe but I don't really think it's a good idea to say that right now," Pyro wispered back.

"Why?"

"Because I'm right here," Auria said from 3 inches behind them, making Aquos jump and Pyro just turned around and said, "In my defense, I didn't say a thing."

"Which is why Aquos here," Zack said as he appeared behind Aquos grabbing him by his shoulders, "...is about to be in a world of hurt!" he laughed.

"Please don't hurt me! I was only joking!" he said looking at Zack.

"I'm not the one who's gonna beat you to a pulp, oh and I suggest that you run and cover your head."

Suddenly Aquos turned to Auria to see her smiling evilly as she licked her lips, "Oh god no..." Aquos said as he turned an took off like a bullet. Even without his powers he was incredibly fast.

Laughing to himself Zack thought to Auria, 'What do you plan to do to him?'

'Just chew on his ear for a bit,'

'You are such a tease, you know he can't stand that'

'Hey it's not my problem he has that weird little phobia of his. In the same way it isn't my fault that he told me about it' she thought playfully, 'Don't worry I'm not gonna hurt him.'

'Alright just make sure to get him back here in about 5 minutes alright?'

'Will do!' she replied happily as she teleported away. As Zack looked over to Pyro, he noticed that Pyro was white as a sheet.

"Pyro? Hey what's going on?"

"Z...Zzaaacck.....q-quick....ru....run!" but before Zack understood what Pyro meant, he (Pyro) exploded in a shower of pure energy. The blast through Zack nearly 10 feet back and into a tree where he felt a sharp pain in his left side. He looked down to see a tree branch going through his ribs.

'Damnit, that.....really hurts....' he thought, 'What the hell was that...' as he looked to where Pyro had been, Pyro was now lying on the ground motionless, and from the looks of it he wasn't breathing either. Then he noticed smoke coming from where Aquos had been and immediately thought, 'Did the same....thing just....happen...to Aquos as....well? .....Auria....' and then he fell unconscious.

Auria teleported around Aquos making him think that he was getting away all the while waiting for him to trip and then she would pounce.

**So all you furries out there know, Aquos has an odd phobia that consists of him running for his life and that he would trip and then would be chewed to death, starting on his ear and going down. Weird kid huh? I gotta say though it's pretty funny. Aquos is based off of a neighbor of mine lol**

Noticing that he likely wasn't going to fall soon and she had a time limit, she used her tail and teleported behind him to catch his ankle with her tail, effectively sending him head over heels into the dirt with a loud, "WAAAAGGGHHHH!!!" from Aquos. She immediately jumped on his prone form and pinned both his legs and arms, putting her muzzle right next to his ear as she wispered, "So you didn't like my joke, huh?"

"No!...um I did...really! Please don't...Auria come on...." he pleaded.

"Now now just a little taste!" she teased as she lightly nibbled on his ear as Aquos started to freak out. All the color drained from his face as he began to stutter, "A-a-auri-a.....q.quick...g-get away...."

Auria suddenly felt Aquos's power suddenly spike and from instinct teleported away from him just as there was a powerful explosion that encompassed all of Aquos and when the blast cleared, Aquos laid unconcious in the dirt.

After waiting a few moments, Auria took a step towards Aquos's prone form as she called out, "Aquos? Are you alright? Aquos!"

As she neared the human, a figure appeared at his side. Immediately Auria tensed, fearing a new enemy or maybe her damned brother finally showing his face again. "Step away from the human!" she growled to the figure.

The figure looked up to her, however she could see nothing as its face was concealed within a black, full-body robe. Then Auria heard the figure wisper something that she could only barely make out, "....it's almost time...." and then she (the figure) disappeared.

'Who the hell was that? And what did they mean by that?' Auria thought as she quickly teleported to Aquos' body and quickly searched for his pulse. After finding it she thought, 'Alright he's alive but his pulse is weak. I need to get both of us back to Zack and quick.' She picked Aquos up and then she looked back to where Zack had been and saw the smoke and immediately thought, 'Zack?! No, what happened? Maybe, Pyro had the same thing happen to him? Whatever the case I need to get to him now!' as she teleported both her and Aquos immediately.

They reappeared to find that Zack was suspended in a tree, a limb piercing his body and Pyro was unconcious inside what a appeared to be a fresh crater. Aquos, having regained his conciousness thanks to Auria using a revival spell, said, "Auria....take me....to my brother. You....go for Zack...."

"Alright if you're sure..." she replied as Aquos merely nodded his head. she set Aquos next to his brother in the crater and quickly teleported to Zack's body and then, with careful aim and precision, she cut the branch so that she could remove the branch however as she did she noticed that Zack's wound was beginning to heal itself over the branch. Thinking quickly, she grabbed Zack wispering, "Hang on Zack...this is going to hurt." She teleported from the tree back to the ground which forced Zack's wound to open as hse had teleported with only Zack, leaving the branch behind.

Zack's eyes snapped open as he screamed in pain and then Auria quickly held her right paw over his wound muttering an old heal spell that her mother had taught her for humans. It took nearly 2 seconds for all of Zack's wound to fully heal and when it was finished, there was only a rip in his shirt where the wound had once been, not even a scar marring his body.

Zack's scream died quickly as he looked weakly up to Auria and stuttered, "I-I'm....sorry...A..Auria.." as she quickly shushed him by placing her furry finger on his lips as her eyes watered staring into his.

"Zack, you have nothing to be sorry about *sniff*. Zack...." she started to cry.

"Hm?.. What is it Auria? Come on, why are you crying?"

"Zack I can't take this, you and I are always in danger and everytime we come closer and closer to losing each other....how can I know that next time won't be the last?" she sobbed.

"Auria....come here" he said lovingly as he put his arms around her and kissed her ferverently. She stiffened at first, surprised that Zack had regained his energy so quickly, then relaxed as she enjoyed the sensation. She felt his tongue press against her lips and she quickly opened her mouth and met his tongue with her own, as they danced in a twisting pleasure that caressed each others mouth's from their teeth, back to their molars. They continued this passion for some minutes on end as Auria began to feel a light caressing starting at the small of her back. Zack used his fingers to spread the fur on her back in smile circles as he slowly crept up her back, sending electric thrills through both his and Auria's bodies. Keeping their kiss, Auria decided not to let Zack have all the fun as she began to massage his back with her paws and then wrapped her tail around to pull of his shirt. She curled her tail underneath the base of his shirt and slid it up to the neck and then in a deft motion that Zack didn't even feel, she ripped his shirt from his body. That gone, she used her tail to brush his back which quickly made Zack break the kiss to moan in ecstasy. "Uhhh...Auria...that feels s-s-sssoooooo good...." he moaned.

Auria smiled and licked his cheek, leaving a trail of saliva on his face as he began to sweat. Auria could feel herself starting to get a little hot and then she looked down as she felt something pressing her side, only to find that Zack was sporting a full arousal for her. She laughed as she looked down and said, "I haven't seen the 'little man' in forever..."

Recognizing her petname for his member, he quickly started to remove his pants. With Auria's help, he quickly removed his pants and had his boxers off in record time; Auria's eyes following every throbbing movement of Zack delicious member. "Zack...it's time for me to 'clean house' she said seductively as she lowered her muzzle to his now throbbing penis.

"Wha...?" Zack started to ask as her tongue flicked across his tip causing his pre to flow freely and making him gasp. She wrapped her tongue around his length and using only her agile tongue she moved up and down his length. "I...am glad" Auria replied lovingly as she snuggled into his chest starting to fall into a heavy sleep.

Zack looked down to Auria and, snuggling back into her beautiful, furry form, he too fell asleep.

Aquos and Pyro looked on from their crater and saw that both Zack and Auria had finally fallen asleep. They looked at each other and started discussing what had happened earlier.

"Brother," Pyro said, "It looks as though we don't have much longer before the curse takes over..."

"Unfortunately... I think your right Pyro," responded Aquos, "That energy surge....I would guess by the strength of it that we have another two weeks..."

"Do you think we should warn Zack and Auria?"

"Well yes but it can wait. I don't want to ruin their moment. After all you heard them, they are mates and yet they rarely get chances like this."

"Yes I suppose your right Aquos; Fine, but we need to tell them as soon as possible alright?"

"Yes I agree with you there."

The brothers then decided that they might as well sleep while they waited for Auria and her mate to wake so they too fell asleep.

*In the Laboratory where the Avian's were reconstructed*

Ra'thnin paced around in his laboratory, fuming with rage as he considered his options, desperately trying to cultivate an idea that would take care of both his pathetic sister and her new mate.

"How in the hell am I supposed to kill them both? I mean An'niya wouldn't be a problem as she still fears me, but her mate....he holds too much power both in his renomon form and in his reserves thanks to my damned mother...."

*NOTE: Ra'thnin has no idea that Zack and Auria both share the same power. If your confused then you will understand later :P *

"That is the problem then. I need to sever my son's connection to his power. The future predicted that there would be a dark heir to the Renamon but I would have never thought that I would be the one to try and stop it. I suppose that I have you to thank La'ratha, mother, you bitch I can't believe you tainted my son's soul and energy with your blood. No matter though....when I encountered my dear sister and her 'mate' they didn't share the bond of the ceremony otherwise even I would have felt it. HEHEHE...HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! THAT'S IT! I WILL WAIT FOR THEIR CEREMONY! THEY WILL DIE BEFORE THEY CAN ENTWINE THEIR SOULS AND THEN I WILL RULE UNOPPOSED!!

*Back to Our heroes*

Zack and Auria were walking hand in hand as the brothers walked slightly behind them wispering just low enough that neither Zack nor Auria overheard them.

"Pyro, it's been nearly a week, and still we haven't told them. I know you can feel the power rising in our bodies, especially if I can feel it since I am the physical half of our curse," wispered Aquos

"Quiet Aquos," snapped Pyro, "You will stay quiet and I will tell them when the time is right, and not a moment before and neither will you, understood?!"

Aquos stopped walking for a second to stare after his brother thinking, 'This isn't good, his personality is already altering to our curse-form....I have to warn Auria and Zack before it's too late...'

"Hey! Aquos! Come on! The village is just over this hill!" called Auria, "Don't you remember?"

"Huh? Village?...." he said confusedly trying to think about what she meant.

Then he jumped up to meet her at the top of the hill and as he looked down, his eyes froze, as he immediately recognized the village. "No....I thought we had destroyed it...." he started to cry tears of jubilation as he saw the village that he and his brother had once befriended but was now rebuilt and from the looks of it, was inhabited by all renomon.

Both the Avians dropped to their knees and wept from their previous memories, of the pain and the horror they had become the last time they were here. Even as they thought of this though, they realized that their curse would likely cause a second coming of that event and they cried more when this realization hit them.

Both Auria and Zack helped them to thier feet and consolingly said, "Don't worry, we have forgiven you and you are once again friends and allies to 'our' village."

They walked down the hill to see the beautiful, if not quaint village. It had probably some 20 huts made from a straw-like material that was sturdier in construction and was a brighter shade of yellow. There was a dirt path that wound through the entire village and lead to each house. Every house held a different symbol over its door for each different family and off to the immediate left of the village, there was an open field where our heroes looked on to see several renomon training with each other.

"Wow...this place is amazing," Zack said.

Auria snuggled into his side sighing, "It truly is isn't it? Now come on, we need to see my father and get a date set for the ceremony and quickly."

"Why so soon Auria?" Zack asked.

"Well I want to be lifemated before my brother can act up again, don't you?"

"Heh good point," Zack replied.

They followed the main pathway to a house that had the same symbol overhead as all renamon and renomon had on their legs and Zack asked Auria, "So why is your family's symbol the same yin-yang symbol like on everyone's legs?"

"That's because my family was the original renamon and renomon couple. Everyone else that you see is in some way related to each other, though because our bloodline change after the ceremony, there is no risk of inbreeding or defects like your race occasionaly experiences."

"How exactly does your bloodline change after the ceremony? And I'm assuming this ceremony is the one you and I are going to participate in?" Zack asked again, more than a little confused.

"Well during the ceremony, our blood will mix in a grand display of our love and in order to truly make us a couple, our bloodtypes fuse together and then alter just enough so that we are still related to our families however the relationship would be distant, according to your human DNA tests."

"Oh alright! That actually sounds pretty cool," commented Pyro.

As they entered the hut, they found a renomon standing with his back to them reading what appeared to be a book. For their own safety, Pyro and Aquos stayed outside the hut so that Auria could introduce them safely. Auria stepped closer to her father while Zack stood back a moment and looked the renomon over. He was quite impressive to look at, about 6'2" (Zack is 5'9" for those curious) and was obviously built like a rock. Even through his dark golden fur you could see his muscles and power rippling. Zack followed his gaze all the way down and found that apparently renomon make sure to keep there entire body even when they train because the legs looked just as powerful as the arms. The only real difference that he could find between males and females was that, aside from their one foot height difference and other "obvious" features, the fur looked darker and more coarse.

"Father? I'm home and I've found myself a mate!" she said trying to keep her voice calm though she was so excited to see her father and have a mate. The combination was making it very difficult.

The renomon's ears, perked up and pointed back towards Auria's voice as he turned around smiling while starting to say, "An'niya! My beautiful daughter you've..." his eyes narrowed for an instant as he saw Zack for the first time. Immediately he disappeared and Zack felt a painful kick to his chest blast him 5 feet out to the road.

"Human! What is your business here? Your kind is not welcome since the Avians!" he growled and turned around sensing others, and found Pyro and Aquos. "You are in leagues with their madness?! Human, you will regret coming here THIS DAY!" he roared and jumped high into the air as he digivolved to a male Taomon (imagine a more ripped Taomon like from the series except with more masculine features, picture to come) and shouted, "DEATH MANTRA!!" as he formed a handsign and fired a purple beam of energy at Zack.

Zack blinked after getting kicked so hard and looked around. He thought he heard somebody but his ears were ringing. Then he noticed the energy pressure that was coming from above him, and looked up just as he heard Auria mentally scream 'Father no!! Zack watch out!!'

As Zack looked into the beam all he could do was wonder how it had come to this....

So this chapter was just a little long in getting out sorry for that guys. Ok stuff to come: THE CEREMONY!! What is the curse form of the Avians? And of course most importantly...WILL ZACK SURVIVE!?
