Cabin Break: Part 17
#17 of Cabin Break
"You're only after one thing you piece of shit! If you so much as come within twenty feet of me again I'll tear your balls off and feed them to you!" The Doberman stood in stunned silence at his date's words; all he had asked was if - he could feel her tits once they got into her place - the resulting rage his date had flown into made him worry about his own survival more than anything else. "Get out of here now! Don't bother calling or trying to apologise either." She growled fiercely before slamming the front door of her apartment shut and bolting the door.
"Why me?..." Tanya whispered quietly as she leaned back against the door. She had never had much luck with dating before and scolded herself for letting herself believe it might have been different this time. Any male she had ever tried dating in the past only ever turned out to be interested in one thing - her body.
Tanya had not long turned thirty; she was a tall and beautiful Siberian Husky; her fur was thick and soft, coloured mostly white with a few tiny patches of pale grey down her front, arms and legs, and deep glossy black down her back, tops of her thighs, upper arms, and pleasant facial markings. Her hair was naturally black as well, but she had taken to dying it a deep autumn red. Her eyes were bright blue, almost like tinted glass with slight flecks of dark grey and midnight blue. She stood a little over six feet in height and was near perfectly toned all over her body; well muscled but graceful and elegant. Many had commented in the past that at a distance she could have been mistaken for a feline because of how subtle her motions were. For males in particular, it was her chest they were interested in; Tanya had an exceptionally large bosom, something she could never decide on whether it was a boon or a curse.
She walked through her apartment turning on the lights; her high heels making loud echoing clicks as she moved. Stopping as she entered her bedroom, she turned her gaze to a pillow sized plush wolf sitting in the middle of her bed; she sighed as she addressed the inanimate object. "Same old story Vince. He just wanted my body, like all the others." The shiny bead like eyes of the plush wolf had no response for her, at least none that would give her any solace or comfort. Tanya gently wrapped her arms around her waist and gazed out of her large bedroom windows, catching her own reflection against the night sky. "Well I see why they want me Vince, I just wish they could see past my body and see me the person." She brushed her paws down her long black, red and gold kimono style dress and giggled to her self as she brushed the slit up the skirt open to reveal her legs. "Well I don't even think he noticed you guys tonight."
Moving to the bed, Tanya pondered on her choices of males and why they had never been any good for her. Even some of her female partners she had found less than acceptable; she wondered if she was perhaps too picky or just had too high a standard for potential mates. She shook her head and smiled as she remembered what her best friend had told her back in high school. "There's nothing wrong with having high standards when it comes to love." Tanya sighed and thought about her friend and workmate - Sara. She recalled how they met and had become fast friends.
* * *
It was her first day of high school and nothing could stop the butterflies gathering in her stomach, being the smallest of the children in her newly assembled class for the year, didn't make things any easier for her. Barely thirty minutes through the door and she had already received several nasty taunts about her size.
As the classes were broken down, several older students were introduced to be their guides to the school for the next two weeks while they got their bearings and learned the class schedules.
Daniel was the first. He was a German Shepherd and looked like he had a constant chip on his shoulder. Layla was next; she was a Lynx that seemed a little too eager to be friends with everyone all the time. Then there was Sara. A white Wolf with long raven black hair and soft azure eyes; she didn't say much after her brief introduction; she just seemed to watch the freshmen and tried to figure out who they all were.
On their way to their first class of the day, one of the boys thought it would be funny to pull Tanya's hair. The resulting howl of pain she released brought Sara straight to her side. "HEY!" Sara barked at the younger fox who had pulled Tanya's hair. "How would you like it if I pulled your hair?" She growled and grabbed a pawful of his hair and tugged sharply upwards, making him wince and whine. "You're in high school now, not kindergarten. Grow up!"
Tanya was struck by the older wolfess' authority; she was impressed at how quickly she had resolved the problem and with so little fuss. "Thank you." Tanya said quietly. Sara just smiled and winked at her in return.
As the weeks rolled by, most students had forgotten about their guides and they simply blended into the crowd of faces in the school halls. Tanya however, had stayed close to Sara, seeking her out to ask her advice or just to talk. While some of Sara's class mates looked down on her for mingling with a freshman, Sara didn't mind and had grown quite fond of the young husky.
Within two months of their first meeting, they had joined several after school clubs together including, dancing, gymnastics, and kick-boxing. Both of the girls however shared an intense love of the natural world and by the time Sara was able to drive they had begun making trips into the forests outside the city.

Tanya kicked off her high heels and removed her evening wear. "What a waste." She grumbled to herself as she carefully hung up her dress. She padded through her apartment with only her red bra and panties to keep her modesty; she knew there were likely a few lonely guys looking out of their apartment windows at her, but she didn't care. They couldn't hurt her or bother her like her date had. His comment's throughout the evening had been a strain on her patients; the one at her front door her been the straw that broke the camels back.
Moving into her kitchen, Tanya scooped up an old photo frame with a picture of herself and Sara in it. She smiled as more memories began to flood back to her and blocked out her terrible evening.
Sara's mother had taken the photo during her first spring break at high school. She remembered how earlier that day, she and Sara had taken a trip out of town to a national park and wandered through the forest for hours; there was a more fond memory there though. As Tanya studied the photo more carefully, she saw in both her eyes and Sara's a deep loving desire and friendship that had been fully realized that day. The day they first kissed.
* * *
Tanya breathed in deeply, the spring air and scent of pine needles and wild flowers filled her senses. "Why can't school or down town smell this good?" She giggled.
Sara laughed "If it did, then there would be no point coming out here would there?
Tanya shrugged. "I guess so." She looked around in wonder at the trees and rivers flowing through the forest. "I wish I could live out here; it's so peaceful."
"Me too. I've dreamed about having a cabin in the forest with my own family." Sara said dreamily as she sat back against a large pine tree, dirtying her jeans and t-shirt lightly.
Tanya smiled at her friends thoughts and sat next to her; her jeans and t-shirt picking up a little dirt and tree bark. "If you get that cabin, can I visit?"
Sara hugged her young companion close and kissed her forehead. "You'll be the first one invited to the house warming." Tanya giggled and hugged her friend tightly.
"What about your family? Do you think you'll get married once you've been to college?" Tanya asked, curious about Sara's future plans.
Sara shook her head. "I don't know. I'd like to get married and have a cub or two of my own some day, but I'll just have to wait and see what happens. With the amount of attention I'm getting these days I might get whisked away by some rich college boy if I'm lucky." The two females laughed.
"I was going to say, have your boobs gotten bigger again? You look bigger every time I see you." Tanya said, trying to hide the concern in her voice.
Sara nodded. "The Doctor said it's normal with some girls. I'm just developing in one go it seems. And I thought I'd be ok with a B-cup, I'll probably be a C or D cup at this rate." She gently cupped and rubbed her breasts as she began to speak again. "I won't lie though Tanya, it hurts when it happens all at once."
"I hope I don't get big boobs." Tanya mumbled. "I'd hate guys to just want me for my body."
"We all deal with what we get Tanya. I think it just shows the quality of the guy if he just wants your body or wants to really know you."
Tanya nodded. "I just wish the guys weren't such jerks to me." She turned away and looked deep into the forest, sighing softly. "I really like Bill Jackson, but he's just real pain in the butt."
Sara looked over her friends shoulder curiously. "The Saint Bernard kid. How so? He always struck me as being really quiet."
Tanya shrugged. "He's always with the other boys who like to start trouble. He never speaks first, but he's usually the last one to say something hurtful." She sniffed back a tear and hugged her knees close to her chest. "I just wish they weren't all up each others asses."
Sara was stunned at her use of language, but quickly burst out laughing. She wrapped her arms around the young husky again and cuddled her affectionately. "Oh Tanya, how any guy could turn the other way from you I'll never know."
Tanya giggled as she realised what she had said and turned in Sara's arms to hug her back again. "I just wish I had more friends like you Sara." She whispered softly.
Sara pulled back and stared at the young husky for a moment. "I take it you've not dated any of the boys from the other classes yet?" Tanya shook her head. "Well I think I can help you get ready for when they see you as the beautiful girl you are."
Tanya's eyes went wide. "How?"
"Have you practiced kissing yet?"
Tanya blushed and tried to hide her face. "No. None of the boys like me enough to try, not even as a bet."
"How about the girls?" Sara said softly.
Tanya froze for a moment as the wolfess' words sunk in. Turning back to her she gazed into her eyes in search of an answer. "Girls kissing?"
Sara nodded. "I've done it before. It helped me out before I got my first boyfriend. He didn't know what hit him after I'd practiced with the girls." Tanya just looked at her with wide eyes and a soft smile. "Wanna try it out on me Hun?" Sara whispered. Tanya nodded and sat upright on her knees facing her friend.
They shuffled a little on the forest floor, brushing twigs aside as they got more comfortable and a little more dirt on their clothes. They sat kneeling towards each other as Sara began to instruct the young husky. "Ok now, lean forward and gently press you muzzle to mine and follow my lead." Tanya leant forward, watching Sara mirror her actions. As their muzzles touched Tanya felt Sara's lips pucker a little; not wanting to disappoint her friend she duplicated her actions, their soft lips pressing against each other with tender precision.
Slowly Sara pulled back and caught a look of disappointment in Tanya's eyes. "We're not done yet Babe." She smiled and continued. "Same again, only this time close your eyes and imagine someone you really love kissing you and try to do what I do." Tanya nodded then closed her eyes and started to lean in again, making sure her lips were soft and ready.
Sara's lips lightly brushed her own; Tanya felt a spark jolt through her spine as she pictured the one she wanted to be kissing her. A few seconds later Sara's lips pressed a little closer to her own; a shiver ran through her body as she felt her tongue lightly probe at her lips. Tanya found herself wrapped up in the moment and slowly opened her mouth, her tongue slowly emerged and met with Sara's. They breathed deeply as their tongues gently flicked and twirled around each other; Tanya moaned softly at the feeling as she felt Sara's paws gently cup her cheeks and her mouth open a little wider as she slowly deepened the kiss. Tanya let Sara explore her mouth as she opened up as well; enjoying the closeness and tenderness she was being exposed to. Her paws came to rest on Sara's shoulders and lightly scratched through her t-shirt making her moan softly into the kiss as well.
It had been almost a minute when they both pulled away slowly then smiled at each other as they both knew something deeper had happened but dared not say anything. Sara spoke first to break the silence. "So who did you think of?" Sara said trying to hide the purr in her voice.
Tanya stared at her friend for a long moment before reaching out and taking her paw. "I thought of you." She whispered.
Sara sat back and took a second to absorb what her young friend had said. "Do you really mean that?" She said softly. Tanya nodded then looked away a little embarrassed at what she had said. "Do you want to do it again?" Sara whispered as she leaned closer. Tanya reached forward and hugged the white wolfess tight. "I'll take that as a yes then." Sara giggled.
"Just tell me you love me Sara." Tanya whispered in her ear.
Sara held the young husky lovingly in her arms, gently stroking her hair and back as their eyes met once more. "I love you Tanya." She purred happily as they slowly pulled each other into another kiss.

Tanya felt cold; her apartment was incredibly spacious and well decorated, but in spite of the triple glazed windows and central heating the apartment always seemed colder when she was by herself. She placed the photo frame back down on the kitchen work top and sauntered through to the bathroom and began to run a hot bath for herself.
As she looked out a towel to dry herself with after her bath, she knocked a large pile of towels out of the cabinet and revealed a small baby blanket from under the pile. A tear trickled down her cheek as she gathered it in her arms and held it close and sniffed it carefully, drawing in the full scent from it. She hugged the blanket close to her chest and slowly walked back to her bedroom with it.
It was Sam's baby blanket from when he was born; Sara had given it to her as a gift when Sam was only six months old. Tanya laid the blanket out over her bed and stroked it softly. She remembered the first time she had seen Sam and been allowed to hold him; it was a day that she and Sara often talked about and looked back on fondly. For Tanya, it had been something more; she had felt a connection or bond with Sam that day, a kinship that had lasted all of his life.
* * *
Tanya sat outside the hospital ward waiting patiently. She had been so excited when Sara called to tell her she was going into labour; she wasn't sure, but she had the distinct impression she had called her before her own parents. Doctors and nurses walked back and forth consulting each other on different patients; for every one that Tanya saw time seemed to drag to a stand still.
She had turned fifteen some weeks ago and was enjoying the extra freedom her adopted parents were giving her. Not that they bothered much with her anymore anyway. Tanya often thought of asking Sara if she could move into her apartment to get away from them but now with her first cub finally here she put the thought to the back of her mind. As soon as she hit eighteen she would be gone and out of her so-called parents lives.
She got up and wandered over to a large window; looking out across the city, taking in the grandeur of the scene before her made her smile. A few short years ago she doubted she'd even care about the sights, but her long friendship with Sara had calmed her down and swept away some of the attitude she had developed in her early high school years. Sara had always helped her see the bigger picture and realize how good a person she really was, something Tanya was immeasurably grateful for
Tanya was grateful for both the friendship and love she and Sara had shared growing up. Tanya had learned a lot about herself during that time and knew in her heart she could someday settle for either a male or female mate. Her experiences with Sara had shown her that females could be just and loving and gentle as any male could. The thought of Sara touching her again made her shiver in delight; it had been a little over a year since they had last spend any real intimate time together, but that was to be expected since Ewan came along.
She remembered the day Sara had enrolled into University; her High School grades had been exceptional and she was accepted without any hesitation. She had taken on both forest & wildlife management studies and business studies as majors; it was in her business studies class she had met Ewan.
Tanya giggled as she remembered how giddy Sara had been for weeks telling her how cute he was and how she felt about him. Not long after that they had started dating and within mere months of that, Ewan had proposed. Sara had only been seventeen at the time, but her parents and Ewan's had supported them in their decision and only a month after her eighteenth birthday, they were married and had a small apartment together. Now here they were; Sara was nineteen and now had her first cub. Tanya wondered if they had been a little hasty, but every time she saw them together, she knew they had made the decision that was right for them.
"Quite a view isn't it?" A deep growling voice came from behind her
"It's beautiful." She said softly then turned around to address who was talking to her. "I was just waiting until my... EWAN!" She barked as she saw the tall dark grey wolf smiling at her. She launched herself at him and hugged him tight. "How are you? I've not seen you in months."
Ewan hugged the young husky and eased her back on to her feet. "I'm doing ok, a little tired though. Uni and work have been a little crazy, but I've got some time off to spend with Sara now that our cub is here. I see Sara convinced you to dye your hair too."
Tanya smiled shyly and nodded it had been the first time someone other than Sara had commented on her new deep red hair colour. "Is Sara ok?"
Ewan nodded. "She's waiting to see you. We've got someone we'd like to introduce you too." Tanya squealed quietly in excitement as Ewan walked her back to the ward Sara was on. Moments later she rounded a curtain to see Sara resting back on her bed with a tiny cub wrapped up in blankets nestled in her arms.
Sara smiled with a look of exhaustion on her face. "Hi Tanya." She said softly. "Come and say hi to Sam."
Tanya stepped carefully up to the side of the bed and peered at the cub who lay in her friend arms. "Oh he's gorgeous!" She yipped quietly. "Who named him?" She asked excitedly.
"Actually it was my Dad." Sara chuckled softly to herself as Ewan sat by her side.
"Yeah, He insisted if it was a girl she had to be 'Dawn' and if he was a boy he'd be Samuel." Ewan said with a chuckle of his own as he gently stroked his cub's cheek.
Sara looked at Tanya and saw she was mesmerised with her cub; she had obviously never been in the presence of newborns before. "Would you like to hold him Tanya?" Sara asked.
Tanya gasped. "Are you sure? I... I don't want to hold him wrong or anything, I..."
Before she could finish her sentence Ewan had carefully taken his newborn son in his arms and rounded the bed. "Take a seat Tanya." He said softly. Obediently Tanya sat down and waited. Ewan knelt in front of her and carefully handed her his son. "Just cradle your arms and don't make any sudden moves." Tanya nodded and let her arms form a natural cradle as Sam was gently laid in her arms.
Sara smiled and gingerly reached over to Tanya and stroked her ear. "See, you're a natural." She said reassuringly.
"He's beautiful. I just wish I could be here for him all the time." She said softly as the young wolf cub in her arms yawned and reached out to her. Tanya moved her paw and let the tiny cub grasp one of her fingers. "Hello there little guy." She whispered. "I'm Tanya and I'll be here whenever you need me."
Sara giggled softly and stroked her husbands arm. "Looks like someone's got a big sister already." Ewan sat back on the bed and hugged his wife. They both watched how naturally Tanya took to caring for the young cub in her arms and smiled.
"I think you might be right Sweetheart." Ewan growled with a reassuring softness in his tone.

With her bath ready, Tanya returned to the bathroom and slowly removed her underwear. The heat in the room had risen considerably and she felt herself relax a little further; she tossed her red bra and panties into the corner of the room and giggled to herself as she looked back at them while stepping into the bath. They reminded her of an old bikini she had owned and a hot summer's day when she had been babysitting Sam.
She sighed as she settled into the tub and remembered how much fun she had with him when he was younger and wondered if she did use him to cling on to her own youth a little too much back then. She didn't let it bother her; Sam was well past baby sitting now and was more that capable of making friends of his own.
Stretching out in the bath Tanya cast her mind back to that day in the sun. It hadn't been more that a week after Sam's seventh birthday. And in spite of the day holding some grim news, she had made sure Sam was well looked after.
* * *
Tanya knocked on the front door of Sara and Ewan's house; she always found it welcoming after they had moved out of their old apartment; when Sam came in to their lives they simply needed more room. Ewan answered the door and welcomed Tanya into the house. "Hey Tanya." He growled affectionately and led her through to the kitchen. "I'm glad you could come down on such short notice. I hope it's not a bother for you."
Tanya patted the wolf's arm and smiled. "It's no problem at all Ewan. What's the rush though, Sara wasn't very clear on the phone."
Ewan stopped and faced her then gently gripped her upper arms. "It's actually quite serious. My Mom's had a kidney infection for some time now and it's getting worse. There hasn't been a usable organ on the donors list for over two months. The doctor doesn't think she'll last the night"
"Oh my! That's terrible. Is Sara..." Tanya whined sympathetically.
Ewan nodded "She's just grabbing a few things. We might be away for the night so I hope you don't mind staying if we need you. I know you and Sara have a lot to do at the office but we really need the time. I just don't think Sam could handle it, so I wanted him to stay with you."
Tanya hugged Ewan gently. "You know you can always ask me to watch Sam." Tanya heard a soft bump behind her and looked over her shoulder.
"Tanya! I'm so sorry I had to rush you into this." Sara called as she entered the room and made to hug her friend.
Tanya reached out and hugged her friend back, still unable to grasp that she was now taller than the wolfess she was hugging. "It's ok Hun. Ewan just explained everything, you guys just get on the road and we'll talk when you get back ok."
Sara kissed her cheek and rubbed her back thankfully. "You are a life saver Tanya. I can't thank you enough."
"Anything for you guys." Tanya said reassuringly. "Now go on, you have somewhere to be."
Sara grabbed her bag and quickly made for the car waving her good bye. "Bye Sammy!" She called out as she reached the front door.
Ewan gave Tanya another hug of appreciation and kissed her cheek. "Thank you again Tanya. This means the world to us; you know how close Sara and my Mom are."
Tanya nodded and kissed his cheek in return. "I know, now hurry up I down want to hold you guys back."
Ewan smiled and called out to his son. "See you later Sam! Tanya will take good care of you."
"See you soon Dad." Came the muffled response from Sam's room as Ewan left the house and got in the car with Sara. Tanya went to the front door and waved good bye and watched until they were out of sight before closing the door. She thought for a moment about how to talk to Sam if he asked where his parents were and decided on a course if things progressed that way. She was always good at excusing those two from just about anything.
Hanging her jacket up next to the stairs she headed up to find out what Sam was up to. She leaned on his door frame and peered into his room; the young wolf sat with a few toy soldiers, making voices and explosion sounds as he played. Quietly Tanya pushed his bedroom door open got down on all fours and prowled silently up to him. Putting on a thick Russian accent Tanya growled in his ear. "You are mine now Capitalist fool, now where are my weapons?!" She stifled a giggle as Sam nearly jumped out of his fur and fell on the floor. "Hi Sam." She yipped innocently and batted her eyelashes playfully at him as he turned over.
"Tanya!" He barked and launched himself at her like a grey blur nearly knocking her over as he hugged her affectionately. Tanya caught him and started play wrestling him a little, taunting him every now and then by pinning one of his arms or legs and tickling him. After a few minutes they sat back against his bed and laughed about their wrestling match.
"So how are you Champ? I've not seen you since your birthday." She asked softly to lower his excitement.
Sam sat on his knees and faced her. "I'm good. School's boring, as usual but we're doing a really cool project about castles."
"Really? They must be telling you all sorts of cool stuff then." Tanya chuckled to herself as Sam got more worked up about his school project.
"Yeah, yeah. Miss Verrity was telling us all about battlements and moats this week and how they used them. I think we're going to be building a model castle of our own this week or next." Sam said bouncing on his knees.
Tanya lifted the wolf pup easily and pulled him close for a hug. "Well school doesn't sound so boring when you put it that way now does it?" Sam shook his head and wrapped his arms around Tanya's neck to hug her in return. "Well I know we have something here that's better than a moat. Can you guess what it is?"
Sam gasped loudly. "The pool! Can we swim Tanya? Please, please?"
Tanya laughed at how excitable he was today and didn't seem to know about what was going on. "Ok Handsome, you get changed and I'll see you down stairs. Just don't go out to the pool with out me ok?" Sam nodded and started pushing Tanya. "Hey what the!?" She yipped in surprise.
"Get out I need to change!" He barked.
A smirk crossed Tanya's muzzle as she fell limp on the floor. "Sorry Sam, the power of motion has been stolen from me by aliens. You'll have to drag me out."
"Tanya!!!" Sam grumbled then grabbed her arm and started slowly dragging her out of his room, much to Tanya's amusement. Once she was out of his room Sam darted back into his room and slammed the door shut. "I'll be down soon." He shouted back through the door.
Tanya giggled and got up then headed to her car to pick up her bag. Anytime Sara and Ewan asked her to babysit for them she always took a swimming costume to take advantage of their pool.
She changed quickly into a bright red bikini that she thought might have been a little racy in her current situation, but it was the only one she had. While it more than covered the desired areas of her body, it certainly left very little to the imagination as she relaxed on one of the sun loungers in Sara's back yard. Sam suddenly leapt out of the door and ran for the pool gate. "Hold it right there Buddy." Tanya said firmly as she turned her gaze towards him and dipped her sun glasses.
Sam stopped in his tracks and turned to face her; his ears and tail drooping at the firmness of her voice. "I'm sorry; I was going to wait at the gate." He whimpered.
Tanya got up and walked over to him; Sam looked up at her and his eyes went wide as she approached, the gentle sway of her hips and light bounce of her large bust catching him off guard. She crouched in front of him and gave him a serious look. "Now, what do we not do around the pool?" She said in a soft but firm tone.
"We don't run around the pool when we're wet in case we have an accident and we don't stay under the water for too long." Sam said with a somewhat chased tone.
Tanya gently scratched behind his ear and stood up offering him her paw. "Good boy, now let's have some fun." Sam took her paw and stayed close as she walked him round to the pool side ladder. She stopped when she felt a gentle tug on her paw and looked down at the little wolf pup. "What is it Sam?" She asked softly.
Sam blushed and hugged her leg tightly. "You look really pretty today." He said trying to hide some embarrassment in his voice.
"Oh Honey!" She sighed softly and picked him up with an easy scoop of her arms. Sam was always amazed at how strong Tanya was, he sometimes wondered if she was stronger than his dad was; with the sheer size of her, he wouldn't have been totally surprised. Tanya spun him to face her and then pulled him close, kissing his cheek then nuzzling him lovingly. Sam wasn't sure what to do and tried to brace himself against her; his paws landing squarely on her large breasts. Tanya gave a little gasp of shock then slowly pulled back, seeing his paws still firmly resting on her heavy bosom. "Sam..." She said in her soft and firm tone again.
"I didn't mean to Tanya, I know Mom say's I'm not supposed to." He whimpered, afraid he was going to get into trouble.
Tanya giggled. "It's ok Sam; I'm not going to tell. We'll say it's out secret ok?" Sam nodded and perked up as soon as he realized he wasn't in any trouble. "I just wish more guys were as honest as you and your dad Sweetie."
Sam looked at her in confusion for a moment then cuddled against her. "I love you Tanya." He whispered in her ear.
Tanya gently rubbed his back and kissed his cheek as she held him. "I love you too Honey." She whispered before taking a few steps back. "Hold your breath she barked excitedly." Sam knew what was coming and clung on to her with his life as she quickly ran forward and jumped in to the pool with him in his arms, dive bombing right into the middle of the pool.
When they came to the surface they were both laughing as Sam called out for more. "Again! Again! That was cool!" He barked.
Tanya swam back in front of him and softly kissed his nose. "Well what are big sisters for?" She joked but it was something she had taken to heart and was glad that Sam saw her in that way, it made her feel part of a family again after leaving her adopted parents.
* * *
Drying herself off, Tanya smiled happily; those had been better days when she could spend time with Sam and act the fool without a care in the world. She knew however that life was far from all fun and games. She recalled how upset Sara had been that evening when she called after Sam had gone to bed and told her that Ewan had lost his mother and only a year before lost his father to a heart attack.
As her thoughts dwelled on the grim moments she realized that maybe her life wasn't so bad after all. With everything Sara and Sam had been through, she wondered just how they managed sometimes. She finished drying herself under a warm fan and began brushing the tangles out of her fur as she returned to her bedroom and looked out a simple oatmeal grey t-shirt and black cotton panties to go to bed with.
Sitting on her bed her mind cast back to her friends greatest tragedy; Ewan's death. It had been a horrible way to die, hit by a drunk driver as he had been driving home. The doctors had told her and Sara as they arrived at the hospital to find out what had happened. She remembered how the news had cut Sara like a knife; it was as if her entire world had been shattered and the only crutches she had to hold on to were her son and best friend. Tanya had stayed with her night and day for weeks as they tried to put life back into order. She remembered how painful it had been for Sam in particular; it was nearly three weeks before he finally understood his father wasn't coming home. The image still haunted her when it finally dawned on him; he ran into his mother's arms and cried for the whole night asking how and why it happened and raving about how unfair it was. Tanya had agreed; for one so kind to have everything taken away by another's stupidity was unfair. Even after the drunk driver's family had come forward, apologies made, and compensation paid Tanya had held it close as a terrible injustice that could never really be righted, even if she had tried in her confused state of mind at that time.
* * *
Several weeks had passed since Ewan's death and the normal end of summer day trip just didn't feel the same. Sara had been quiet for the whole drive as they made their way deep into the country side. It was a trip they had often made together with friends and family. Not that Sara could say she had much of a family left; her husband's passing had been precluded by her parents own demise. Sara's mother had suffered an aggressive case of breast cancer that overcame her before the doctors could properly treat her and her father passed not long after that; the doctors had no reason for it and suggested he died of a broken heart. Sara hadn't taken the news kindly and tried desperately to find answers for everything that went wrong; all she ever found was a closed door or red tape stopping her.
The day itself seemed to reflect the mood. Only a few of the families who took the trip had bothered this year leaving only Sara, Tanya, Sam and a hand full of his friends and one or two other parents. The sky was a pale grey and darkened as the hours passed. They arrived at their destination in good time though; Tanya remembered Sara's remark that it was the only good thing about the day in full. She couldn't blame her for her line of thinking, not with all that had happened in the recent past.
It was a wild park that had been almost forgotten; to the north it had an attaching forest, to the east long grass fields and to the south a wide river. Tanya had always taken it upon herself to keep the younger children amused and tried her best once again. She had set up a large game of hide and seek, that covered most of the park and would take a good while to play, giving the parents some time alone to converse and relax out of the children's way. Tanya had picked two of Sam's friends to be catchers and explained the boundaries before all of the other children scattered to the four winds.
They had been playing for at least fifteen minutes when Tanya stumbled across Sam. He sat on the bank of a wide stream that led to the main river and was sheltered by the long grass from the growing wind. She watched him curiously for a minute, seeing him strip blades of grass and toss small rocks into the stream. It was obvious to her that he was still deeply upset; she decided she'd try and talk to him in her own way to try and make things better. She lightly brushed down her heavy body warmer and jeans as she left the long grass where she had been hiding. "You'll get caught if you stay out in the open like that." She said in a comforting voice as she slowly approached him.
Sam turned and glanced at Tanya for a moment before returning to his former position. "I don't mind." He sighed. "It's the only way the game ends right?"
Tanya sighed in return. "I guess you're right. Are you ok?" She sat next to him; her boots pushing a loose patch of dirt into the stream as she did.
Sam shook his head and gazed into the flowing water. "I want everything back the way it was. I want everything to be right again."
"I know Sam." She whispered softly and rubbed his back. "I wish I could put everything back the way it was for you and your Mom, but I can't." She heard Sam sniff back hard, trying not to cry. "I am here for you Sam, I always have been." Sam turned and hugged her tightly, almost squeezing the air out of her; for being only eleven he was certainly stronger than he appeared. Tanya wondered if it was his grief and frustration that gave him his strength; it didn't matter, in seconds he collapsed against her crying his eyes out. Tanya understood; he had been putting a brave face on all the time and just didn't want his mother to see him falter in front of her. She wrapped her arms around him and rocked him back and forth gently. "Let it out Honey, its ok I'm here."
Sam rested his head on Tanya's chest and cried quietly as he clung on to her. "Why was that asshole allowed to drive and kill my dad?" He blubbered then realized what he had said. "I'm sorry Tanya, I didn't mean to swear."
Tanya gently stroked his cheek and held him tight against her. "You don't have to apologize to me for that Honey and especially not about that person."
Sam curled his arms closer to himself as he cried, catching Tanya's bosom between them. She didn't care; all she was worried about was his well being. "Do you want to go home Sam?" She asked him softly as she gently stroked the back of his neck.
Sam nodded. "Would you stay with Mom and me again tonight?"
Tanya nuzzled him lovingly and pulled him more tightly into her embrace. "I'll stay as long as you and your Mom need me." She whispered softly into his ear.
Sam let a small smile creep across his muzzle as he pulled back and looked into Tanya's eyes. "Thank you." He whispered then they did something neither of them expected. As they stared at each other their muzzles drew closer together. Before they knew it they shared a very soft and tender kiss. Tanya found herself lost in the innocence of the moment and gradually deepened the kiss. Sam reciprocated and cupped her cheeks in his paws as their tongues explored each other's mouths for a long tender moment.
They slowly broke the kiss and stared back into each others eyes for a long time. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that Sam." Tanya said as a tremble of unremitting terror worked its way through her body.
Sam shook his head. "Don't be." He said softly. "You've been my best friend all my life; I wanted to kiss you before but was too shy to say anything."
Tanya hugged him tight and kissed his forehead. "Sam I love you with all my heart and I'll always be there for you, but if anyone finds out about this I could be in big trouble, not least from your Mom."
Sam sat up and gingerly held her paws. "I'll never tell a soul." He said as he dried his eyes, his voice full of honourable intent.
Tanya nodded and smiled as she sat upright again. "Nor shall I. Cross your heart?"
Sam smiled and made the gesture along with Tanya. "And hope to die." He said without realizing it.
Tanya shook her head and hugged the young wolf again. "I think we've had enough of dying for now." Sam sighed and kissed her cheek as he hugged her back in return. "Come on, let's gather the others and stop the game, then we'll get your Mom and go home ok?"
Sam nodded and stood up. "Just one thing first" He said before he darted up stream with a sharp rock in his paw. Tanya watched him run to a large tree at the far corner of the field and scratch the bark with it. He came running back only a few minutes later and wrapped his arms around her waist hugging her tightly. "Ready." He said with a tone that expressed his desire to leave.
"What was that about?" She asked curiously.
Sam gave Tanya a gentle squeeze and nuzzled her tummy gently. "Nothing important." He said with a sigh as he felt her paw gently stroke his hair.

Tanya curled up on the corner of her sofa with a large mug of hot chocolate, listening to a radio station playing various love songs. It might have been during some of her worst times, but she remembered that kiss fondly. There had been no forceful or predatory instinct behind it, he had simply wanted to kiss her because she was his friend. It was a simple honesty that she had noticed was more than missing in the world as she saw it.
She found it a great pity that she had only kissed him once like that, but she was also well aware of the dangers if it had come to light. She imagined what he might be like in a few years time; he was almost sixteen now and would be more than eligible when he turned eighteen. She just hoped the pressures of growing up wouldn't change him too much.
She finished her hot chocolate and sauntered back through to the kitchen to wash the mug out before packing it into the dish washer. Her thoughts returned to Sam and his friends as she remembered the last time she had seen him; she had spent the afternoon with Sara and was almost ready to leave when Sam had returned with his friends who were in a sexually charged mood as only thirteen year olds could be. She grinned as she pictured the moment again and looked at herself in a body length mirror at the other side of the room; she struck a sexy pose with a coy look on her face, her deep red hair spilling over her shoulders. "Yup, still got it." She giggled to herself.

"I swear Sara if you keep Paddy waiting, he'll either get that promotion or go to another department. In a month... or two... or a year... or two..." Tanya joked with her Sara over their co-worker.
"Tanya, he's really sweet and I will say, as he is really cute and buff as an angry bull, but I don't think I'm ready to move on yet. I still think about Ewan all the time." Sara replied softly.
Tanya pursed her lips and gave Sara a sultry stare. "I think you and that massive Clydesdale make a great couple. Too bad you don't see it." She took another drink from her coffee and then smiled softly at her friend. "Still, you know I'm still here if you want me Hun."
Sara reached out and gently stroked the back of the husky's paw. "I know Babe, but I'm not ready; not yet anyway." The wolf and husky gave each other a loving stare. They were interrupted when the front door opened and a cluster of voices and bodies bundled through the door. "Shoes off!" Sara barked. "No smelly paws in my house!"
"Sure thing Mom." Sam barked back over the clutter of voices. There was a shower of greetings as Sam passed the living room door with his friends in tow as they headed up to his room. Hi Ma'am, and Hi Missus P, were the most common things Sara ever heard from Sam's friends at any time although it was usually interspaced with the usual gulp followed by a stiff 'wow' from the boys as they caught a glimpse of what she was wearing and what she looked like. Today was no different; the wow's were just a little louder when they spotted Tanya as well. Both were wearing knee length skirts and black heels, while Sara wore a pale pink blouse, Tanya wore a pearl white one.
Sara and Tanya turned to each other after the boys had gone to Sam's room. "Teenagers!" They both laughed as they spoke in unison.
Tanya finished her coffee and checked her watch. "Hey I've got to head off in a moment. Mind if I use your bathroom?"
Sara nodded towards the door. "Do you really need to ask? I'd be careful on the way upstairs though, there are hormones everywhere." They laughed together once more before Tanya left the room and headed to the bathroom.
Tanya finished her business and headed out of the bathroom when a raised voice caught her attention. "Dude, that friend of your Mom's was smokin' hot!"
"Leave it Arty" She heard Sam's voice rise in her defence. "She's a friend of the family and you're not going to speak about her like a piece of meat." Tanya was quietly surprised at how he stood up for her.
"Oh come on Merlin!" Another voce barked in. "You gotta admit she's fine."
Another deeper voice chimed in to the conversation. "Yeah, like a fine wine. Better with age."
A deep growl rose from the other side of the room. "Enough! She's my friend and I'm very fond of her, so quit it!" Tanya felt her heart melt at Sam's words and a soft sigh escaped her lips as she listened further.
"Oh I hear that Jay, I mean did you see the size of her tits? She must be in the region of a forty-F or something" She could hear Sam growling as each of his friends spoke.
The first voice spoke again. "Hell yeah! I'd love to tie her down and do the wyld thang to her any day!"
There was a sudden outburst of laughter from Sam before it sharply stopped and his growl returned to the conversation. "You'd never tie her down Arty. She'd kick your ass before you pulled the first rope out."
The small crowd of boys laughed "Yeah right, she's a big girl I doubt she can move that fast. What is she going to do some kung-fu on me?" The first voice spoke again. Tanya decided enough was enough and went to help Sam out of his predicament.
The bedroom door opened sharply and Tanya filled the doorway looking with fierce eyes down at the boys occupying Sam's room. "Kick-boxing actually." She stated firmly and gestured to the boys to find out who had spoken. They all pointed to a grey wolf with long brown hair. "Arty, is it?" Tanya growled.
"Uh yes Ma'am." He stammered as Tanya stepped into the room and leaned in close to him.
Tanya was fighting hard to hide the smile building up on her muzzle, enjoying watching the loudmouthed wolf squirm in discomfort. "I'm a five times State Champion and can likely move a damn sight faster than your pudgy ass. Got it!" All the other boys dipped their heads apart from Sam, who just stared at her with a look of shame on his face.
"Yes Ma'am." Was the mumbled and chastened response from all of the boys.
"Sam, a word with you if I might." She said as she turned and strode out of his room and through to his mother's bedroom. Sam's ears fell flat against his head and his tail sagged as all the other boys looked at each other with a look that said one thing - Busted!
Tanya closed the door behind Sam as he entered the room and folded her arms across her waist. "Weren't expecting that were you?" She said firmly.
Sam shook his head and looked down at her feet. "I'm sorry I tried to stop them from saying those things I..."
"I know." She said softly and lay a paw on his shoulder "Thank you for standing up for me like that, even if they're all idiots."
Sam's ear's raised a little he braved looking into her eyes only to find her smiling lovingly at him. "I heard what you said Sam and I want you to know I'm very fond of you too." Sam's ears sprung up at her words and a stunned expression crossed his face; for the first time on a long while he wasn't sure what to do. Tanya made the decision for him and hugged him warmly. "Thirty-eight-F." She whispered.
"What?" Sam said and turned to face his oldest friend.
Tanya smiled and gave him a playful wink. "Just so you know, I'm a thirty-eight-F. Just don't tell the muppet show in your room ok."
Sam chukled and softly kissed her cheek. "Are you staying long today?"
Tanya stood up to her full height again and lightly brushed herself down. "No, I'm just heading out actually. I've got a training course to go on and I'll be away for a few weeks. After that I'm not sure when you'll next see me."
Sam stepped forward and gave her another loving hug. "Take care, ok Tanya."
She smiled and lightly scratched the back of his neck. "Always Honey, always." She kissed his forehead softly then left the room with Sam following behind.
"You guys are in sooo much trouble!" Sam barked to his friends as he re-entered his room and closed the door.
"You couldn't resist listening in could you?" Sara chuckled softly as Tanya descended the stairs.
Tanya grinned. "How did you know?"
Sara rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I get it all the time Hun; all the time." The two females laughed then said their good byes.
As Tanya left the house and walked around the back to her car she looked up at Sam's bedroom to see him staring lazily out of the window, clearly uninterested in what his friends where now talking about. She waved to catch his attention and smiled when he turned and smiled back at her. With a coy grin crossing her muzzle she stopped and opened her blouse a little, giving the adolescent wolf a clear view of her cleavage. His eyes went wide and he had to stop his jaw from falling down as he watched. Tanya only held the view for him for a few seconds before she made a cross gesture over her heart and winked at him. His smile returned and he winked back at her, and held up his crossed fingers as subtly as her could. Tanya giggled shyly, not quite believing she was flirting with her best friend's son; she decided to end his show by blowing him a tender kiss and giving him a last shy wave before heading to her car.

Tanya stretched out on her bed and gently stroked the baby blanket she had laid their earlier. There was no doubt in her mind that she was missing her two oldest and closest friends for many different reasons. She missed Sara's company at work and in her personal life more than she'd admit to anyone. The chemistry they shared was of a rare kind, the fact they had stayed friends for so long and shared so much in each other's lives was a testament to that. They had been lovers briefly and the closest council they ever kept, there was very little in their lives that the other didn't know about.
She missed Sam for his honesty, his simple affection, and his unwavering loyalty. They were qualities she had always looked for in a mate be they male or female, and she had always ended up being disappointed by those she had chosen in the past. There was certainly a love between them and it both excited and terrified her. If she pursued it she would face the full force of the law and she knew it, but he was always there as the shining light on her horizon. If she had no-one by the time he had turned eighteen she'd consider asking him; the only hurdle would be if Sara would understand.
Rolling over on to her side she grabbed the large plush wolf and hugged it close to her chest. "Sorry Vince, but tonight you're name's Sam." She purred to herself and imagined the young wolf in her arms as her lover. "You can do what you want so long as you love me Sam. That's all I need." She moaned softly as she pulled her panties tight against her slit. As her fantasy of an older Sam danced through her mind she imagined Sara at her back once more as her lover; her delicate touch teasing every ounce of pleasure out of her most sensitive spots.
Tanya froze for a moment and considered the possibility of both her friends being with her. The thought made her deeply happy, the things they could do; the life they could have. She breathed a heavy sigh as the facts realigned in her mind; they were mother and son, if that didn't complicate them being all together she wouldn't have minded. She pondered how different and strange it might be for them if they did fall into such a relationship with her. She wondered it if might as some point lead to incest between them and if it would ruin everything.
Tanya shook her head and tried to clear her mind as she pulled back her bed covers and slipped into the warm surroundings; turning off her bedside light, and laying back to sleep, the thought re-entered her mind - could she have them both as lovers?
