Standard Arena Matches/Rules/Etc...
Standard Match: A hand-to-hand fight on a square stone platform. Victory comes by ring-out (knocking the opponent off the platform), knock-out (rendering the foe unable to continue fighting by unconsciousness), or submission (forcing the opponent to admit defeat). Combat has no rules otherwise, but dishonorable combat is frowned upon.
Last Man Standing: Victory can only come by knock-out.
Submission: Victory can only come through forcing your opponent to submit.
Ring-out or Sumo: Victory can only come through ring-out.
3 Knockdown: First fighter to be knocked off their feet onto the ground three times loses.
Pole Match: Fighters fight, balancing on raised bamboo poles. Victory comes by knockdown (opponent touches ground) or KO.
Cage Match: The ring is surrounded in a steel cage, which fighters can pin their opponents against. Victory through KO or Submission.
Fire Match: Ring is surrounded by flames. Because of the heat, Pokemon weak to Fire might be at a disadvantage. Ring-outs are dangerous in this match.
Ice Match: Ring is covered in a thick, near frictionless sheet of ice. Pokemon weak to Ice might be at disadvantage. Ring-outs are easy.
Lightning Match: Ring is surrounded by several lightning rods which discharge randomly. Pokemon weak to Lightning might be at disadvantage.
Random Match: A standard match with randomized elements, like flames, raising or lowering platforms, poles, lightning rods, etc... Elements in match may change at random, making competitors adapt to the new conditions. Considered one of the hardest matches.
Sex Arena Matches/Rules/Etc...
Standard Sex Match: Competitors struggle against each other, seeking to stimulate their opponent's genitals. First fighter to orgasm loses.
Turn Sex Match: A more structured version of the standard match. Fighters are an aggressor and a submissive. Aggressor pleasures the submissive, attempting to make them orgasm. After two minutes, a bell rings and the fighters switch roles (aggressor becomes submissive, and vice versa). First fighter to orgasm loses.

A: Yes. In general, telekinesis is a valid strategy in combat. Telepathy is also legal, but somewhat frowned upon, since matches revolve around prowess in combat more than psionics. Mind control powers (Hypnosis, Attract, etc...) are legal as well, as it is a test of willpower on the part of the victim to overcome the control.
