Fates Entwined
Life had been simple in the forest, save for the constant need to remain out of sight from the forest rangers, hikers, helicopters, and pretty much society itself. Lenz constantly remained alert, every sound and crack was accounted for, had to, or else they wouldn't have made it this far. He unfurled from atop the boulder, the sun having provided sufficient warmth to his large cobra naga body. As his silver and black scales ran across the sun bathed boulder, his mind fled to the thought of what Jennifer had been accomplishing in the cabin. "I should really start heading back, it's getting late." The sun was minutes away from vanishing below the forest covered horizon. The forest was beautiful in every time of day, the rustling wind, the bright blue sky, all the evergreen pine trees, it was all so peaceful and tranquil. And with that, he began to slither back to the cabin, ready to rejoin his lovely partner.
In a nearby clearing the air shimmered despite the stillness of the environment around it. The grass below the strange anomaly blew outward as the once translucent sky turned a deep purple, the perfect contrast to the setting sun as a lone figure was ejected out from it. The black dragon skidded to the ground as his body cut a deep furrow into the earth. The portal closed just as silently and suddenly as it came, which left only the dragon as he got up and brushed himself off. "Smug bastard, making me do that on my own." He muttered under his breath as he tried to get a bearing on his surroundings. Unfortunately all he could make out was the fact he was in the woods, which meant he had no choice but to start walking until he found some resemblance of civilization.
The sounds of quietness were reassuring for Lenz, and he silently slithered through trees. With the time of day, and the ranger having already done her rounds, Lenz took the opportunity to whistle a hymn. The sweet notes of "Hotel California" wavered through the air, a feeling built up inside Lenz as he continued to the cabin. And soon, he began to sing out the lyrics, filling the silence with sound. "On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair, warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air......" he sang in tune, his voice echoing through the night.
Renzyl tried as he might in order to make his nature walk as pleasant as possible, but hiking was never his strong suit and the thick underbrush of what he thought might have been a path slowed him considerably. He was about to curse loudly when his ears began to pick up something unnatural, and he stopped his thrashing around in order to hear it. As it seemed to get closer he could tell it was someones voice, singing a song that he had never heard before. His hopes immediately began to rise, but he was still cautious enough to try and sneak as best he could as he tried to approach what could be his ticket out of this god-forsaken forest.
The naga continued to slither through the forest, his soft melodies soothing his mind as he continued upon the trail back to the cabin. Though, as he continued forward, he couldn't help with the fact that someone seemed to be following him. Also, the lack of the chirp of nightingales and owls were an anomaly as well. Lenz, being precautious, stopped, posing in such a way to ensure he could defend himself easily. Now.....he waits, ready for anything.
As he continued to approach he began to wish that he had tried to find a better path, but his want to find the comforts of modern life spurred him to go forward. When he finally caught a break from the brush he took a second to slowly catch his breath, only to realize that the song and any other noise had stopped. It was a guess that his possible new friend had somehow sensed his approach, which meant he either had to take his chance and introduce himself or try and slink away and continue to stumble around aimlessly. With night approaching fast, he prayed for a good reception as he picked the leaves from his body and moved forward with purpose. The sound of leaves ruffling came East of where Lenz stood ready. A black figure moved along the trail he had just covered. Lenz's golden eyes glowed through the darkening light as he watched the figure approach. With an authoritative tone, Lenz said, "Stop where you are.....or you'll be subdued."
Renzyl stopped immediately, the last thing he needed was to get thrown into some prison or worse place. Still, he had no idea what the creature ahead of him could possibly be, but the fact that it spoke meant it had at least some intelligence to it and therefore could be reasoned with. "Hey, if my presence here is wrong then I'm sorry." He said as diplomatically as he could as he watched the path ahead of him, in particular the two points of yellow light he guessed were eyes. "I've gotten a bit lost... well, that's actually quite an understatement, I'm extremely lost and have no idea where I am right now."
The tone with which Lenz heard the plead, lead to him believing the figure meant no harm. He lowered his guard and slowly approached the lost wanderer. He stopped within a sliver of moonlight, letting the person get a glimpse at who he was beckoning for help with. "Well, you're not lost anymore, I'm Lenz.....though you should be returning to where you came from soon.......I can lead you to the highway." Lenz offered, trying to lead the person away from him and his secluded life.
A great breath of relief escaped Renzyl's lips as he felt that the creature wasn't going to be hostile with him. "I'd be more then grateful for that Lenz." He replied as he started to walk closer, trying to keep up the calm banter they had reached. "The only problem is, where I came from isn't going to easily be reached by just the highway. However... if there's someplace along that route I could possibly stay, that would be great... except..." as a sudden realization came over him he couldn't help but feel embarrassed as he grinned sheepishly. "uh... I don't have any money."
Lenz realized the predicament he was in, and soon lowered his defenses completely. "Well......you can stay with Jen and I for the night. And we'll sort out a way to get you back in the morning. By the way, I don't recall ever catching your name?" Lenz offered, waiting to get a better look at the figure as it approached slowly, seeing slivers of the person as he approached him.
"Oh... my name is Renzyl." Renzyl said as he finally got close enough to see his saving grace in the moonlight, surprised and further relieved to find a fellow scaly there. It was a naga with a similar black configuration, though he had a silver belly. It put him slightly more at ease, his body relaxed as he found it easier to walk up to him. "Thanks a lot for this, I'll try and find some way to repay you."
Lenz was in shock as well, there.......was a dragon. They were in myths and legends, but there was a black dragon approaching him. He slowly approached Renzyl, letting his silver clawed hands grasp Renzyl's shoulder. "Don't worry about it, I think your company will pay off your visit.......besides, it's not common to meet a dragon around here.......infact it's not common to meet anyone that isn't human." Lenz chuckled.
"Oh...oh." Renzyl tried to remain his composure, but the naga's words caused his stomach to sink. "Well... then I guess it's fortunate that we met, huh?" It wasn't the first time he had met the human race, and most of the time when they were in charge they weren't fond of creatures like him. Of course, it made his meeting Lenz even better in a way, at least they would have been in the same plight or at the very least could relate to one another.
"How is this even possible?" Lenz asked, nearly considering that he had left his mind to cook in the sun too long. Though, he did not want to scare off Renzyl, so he wrapped an arm around his shoulder and escorted him along the trail. Lenz was wondering, calculating, the possibilities of this ever happening. He adjusted his height to meet Renzyl at his height, in order to maintain a non-aggressive pose towards him.
The question Lenz posed to the dragon made him nervous, he didn't want him to freak out but there were only a certain number of possible explanations he could give him. He could say he was magical, but what if there was no magic? He could give some sort of scientific explanation, but he was unsure of how advanced they were. All he had was that the naga was unnatural, which meant that he had to have come from somewhere. "I'm not sure, to tell you the truth." He finally replied. "If you don't mind me asking, where did you come from?"
Lenz was set back a bit also. "Well, I'm from around here.....wasn't always like this, and was a scientist.......it's the reason why I'm like this...." Lenz murmured, finding great discomfort in the discussion. Lenz continued to slither on towards the cabin, the darkness already settling in. "We better continue, it gets cold rather quickly......and you know we dislike the coldness."
"Ah, yes, let's carry on." Renzyl agreed as he kept pace. As he watched the naga he realized that this may have been a human at one time, possibly why the conversation ended so abruptly. It didn't need to go any further though, he had all the information he needed just in case. Though... as the thought of the possibility that at one point Lenz had been on his floor or the ground, helpless to watch as his body contorted... it caused his body to shudder as he quickly shook his head to dismiss such thoughts and instead focused on the dark path to their destination.
A soft glow came from ahead as they approached the trailhead. It opened to a break in the treeline, a well lit cabin in the middle. "Well, we're here, let me tell Jen that we have company, and you may join us for dinner. Also to figure where you'll be sleeping for the night....." Lenz explained, stopping at the porch and gesturing for Renzyl to wait here.
Renzyl gave him a small nod in reply and waited on the porch as he watched Lenz slither into the cabin. Once he was alone he began to pace restlessly, his toe claws clicked on the wood as he waited to see what this 'Jen' was going to say. As he looked into the darkness that enveloped the woods beyond the light of the cabin he wondered if perhaps it was a love interest he was about to talk to, possibly someone that shared his fate. It was a romantic thought, the two of them wrapped around each other as their bodies lengthened... once more he had to stop himself, his hands grabbed his horns as he tried to banish the thoughts. "Pull yourself together..." he muttered lowly as he regained his composure. The sound from within soon caught Renzyl's attention as suddenly Lenz poked his head out from the door.
"Pssst, Renzyl, come on in, she's cool with you staying." Lenz announced, opening the door wider for Renzyl to enter. The light poured out onto the porch and bathed Renzyl with light, Lenz moved further inside, slithering up to his lovely partner Jennifer. Her coloration similar to that of Lenz but her belly scales were considerably darker than that of Lenz's. Also, she appeared to be a rattlesnake compared to Lenz, who was a cobra.
Renzyl took one last breath before he stood up and walked inside, his eyes immediately noticed the second naga in the cabin. He could feel his insides twitch, but he was determined to keep himself as he gave a warm nod to Jennifer. "I'm very pleased to meet you." He said as he smiled at the both of them. "Lenz was very kind to allow me to stay in his company when I was wandering out alone. I hate to think that I would be alone in the woods at night still wandering had I not found him."
"Oh, you're such a softy," Jennifer commented to Lenz, hugging him. She began to slither over to Renzyl, extending a hand to shake. "I'm Jennifer, and I'm pleased to meet a gentleman like yourself."
The cabin was furnished with the ordinary things to survive, a kitchen, fireplace, a table, all rather old and obsolete. However, there seemed to be some key feats of technology located within the cabin, such as a satellite dish connected to an impressive laptop. All being powered by high capacity batteries. And some scientific instruments were set upon a table adjacent to the fireplace. Dinner was simmering upon the wood stove in the kitchen, the smell of meat filling the cabin.
Renzyl blinked as he saw the sophisticated electrical equipment around the cabin's interior, a definite offset to the woods and rustic aesthetics outside. "That's some pretty serious hardware you have here." He commented as he shook the female naga's hand, his eyes drifted from her over to the various pieces of technology. "It's the last thing that I would have expected when I walked inside here. I remember Lenz saying something about how he was a scientist though, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. That smells great by the way."
"Oh! Are you hungry? I made a lot of it, since I need to keep this big guy all strong and healthy." Jen offered, "we could all have a nice meal together. How does that sound?" She spun around and returned to attain plates and the tray that the meat was simmering from within. "We don't have any flatware....... Do you mind eating with your hands??"
"Oh no, I don't mind at all." Renzyl replied. "A meal is a meal, flatware or no. Thanks for sharing your food with me, I can't express how thankful I am." A small part of him told him he shouldn't be there, that it wasn't safe to be around them for obvious reasons. But it had been a while since he had allowed himself to be around others, and he was fine, so one meal and night couldn't hurt.
"Great, well, if you sit down at the dinner table, I can serve all of us." Jennifer chirped. Lenz slithered quickly to the table and sat upon his massive coils, soon enough, Jennifer had placed the iron plats before them, and the tray of meat in the middle of the table. "Honey, could you trim the meat, you have the nails to do so, and can serve portions better........."
"Of course I can." Lenz accepted, brandishing a claw before slicing away a piece of meat from the seared venison. He took each piece and placed it into each of their plates, each having the same amount of meat as the other. "There ya go, eat up everyone!" Lenz chimed as he poured juice over each person's plate.
The dinner was delicious, and though they ate, their discussion went into how Jennifer and Lenz came to meet each other, their past career of being scientist for a research laboratory, and some other little things. Also, Jennifer explained their past, and how they came to become like this, since Lenz seemed to be rather shy on the matter......always wishing to change subjects, or filling his mouth with a piece of deer. While Renzyl discussed his fascination at their set-up, he shied away from his past as much as he could. When Jennifer asked him, he finally made up a story that he didn't have much memory except that he had come from a laboratory. As much as he wanted to tell them he was an extra-dimensional being that was flung forcefully into their dimension, it would lead to far too many questions about himself. Instead he discussed how nice it was to meet fellow creatures of science like him and inquired about the science behind it until the meal was finished and put away.
"Oh my, the meal was very good, thank you very much!" Renzyl said happily as he washed the juice from his claws and patted his full belly. For the first time in a while he was content, and Lenz and Jennifer proved to be excellent company. He was extremely thankful for the nagas, both in their generosity and their mere presence.
Jennifer collected the plates and placed them within the sink for later. "Come now, we must setup the bed for you Renzyl, we have a spare room in the back.......though it doesn't have heating....... What will we..... Oh! You can take the blanket, and use that to keep you warm for the night." Jennifer said cheerfully as she grabbed the blanket from atop the couch and took it down the hall. Lenz on the meantime returned to working on his laptop, the satellite dish beginning to spin and point in various directions.
As Renzyl grabbed the blanket from Jennifer he was still astonished that he had been given his own room for the night, something he hadn't had in quite some time that he remembered. Despite the fatigue from the constant steeling of his willpower he was still happy and energetic, enough so that he thanked Jennifer and Lenz once more for their generosity. In the back of his mind he guessed that they related to him, in a world full of humans they probably hadn't had contact with another in some time. As he thought it he realized that the feelings were mutual, and couldn't help but feel a pang of resentment as he quickly turned to explore the new room.
Jennifer gave the dragon a brief tour of the room. "There's a bed, and you have a window, sorry it isn't much.... We never expected to have a guest with us......not after, well, you know." Jennifer gave Renzyl a peck on the cheek as she wished him a peaceful sleep. As the door closed he wrapped the blanket around him as he settled down on the bed. He wondered if he should try to stay up the entire night or brave sleep, but as his eyelids began to fall he quickly realized his body would not allow him a choice in the matter.
She closed the door and slithered out to Lenz, where he was beginning to show some drowsiness.
"He all set up for the night hun?" Lenz asked, looking away from the laptop's screen.
"Yup, he seemed very appreciative of the room we lent him for the night, I bet he'll sleep well......though I wish we redid that bedroom, or cleaned it at least, it's all covered in dust." she urged.
"He'll be fine, and it's only for one night, I think we should turn in as well hun." Lenz offered as he closed the lid of his laptop. "Besides, he's not in our room, we could do what we do every night....." he cooed, wrapping his strong arms around her feminine frame, mashing her breasts together.
"I think we'll have to save that 'til tomorrow night......it's weird doing it with guest over, you know how I am," she murmured, giving Lenz a lick upon his snout. "But we could still snuggle together." she assured, taking Lenz by the hand and guiding him to their room. Lenz leaned over and flicked off the main light as they went into the hallway. Soon, the cabin was peaceful, the nagas intertwined with one another in a loving mess of coils.
Whether it was mere minutes or hours after he had drifted off, Renzyl didn't know, all he did know was that he was in a familiar blackness with the blanket he had been gifted still wrapped around him. "Aw hell..." he sighed as he looked around. Somewhere in the blackness he knew was the entity he hated more then anything else in the world, the piece of him he stubbornly tried to refuse the existence of. But as a cold, deep laughter rang out he knew there would be no ignoring him tonight.
"I see we've found ourselves an idyllic oasis of creature comfort, young Renzyl." The voice mocked from the darkness. "Two lovely looking nagas... didn't you believe at one point that a naga was one of the more beautiful of the scaly forms? I have to say that they would make fine pets..." "Don't you dare lay a finger on them!" Renzyl shouted. "If even one drop of corruption pollutes their kind souls, I will kill myself just to punish you." Once more the cold laughter that echoed in his head night after night, and once more the darkness was pushed away to reveal a mirror he had become intimately familiar with. Still, despite his knowledge he was compelled to walk forward.
"We both know it's impossible, if you even try such a thing I get control." The voice said as Renzyl looked in the mirror, a smiling, demonic version of his form reflected back at him before it spoke. "Not that it would be much different from the present." The dragon let out a loud cry as he smashed the mirror with his fists, but he could already feel his body changing, the corruption in his soul twist and shape his mental form...
Meanwhile in the real world the conflict manifested in vicious thrashes as Renzyl's body began to shift back and forth, his claws dug into the bed and frame as his willpower attempted to push back the transformation as what looked like black latex dripped from the corners of his mouth and ears. At one point his tail snagged onto a dusty nightstand and flung it across the room, which caused both it and the lamp on top to shatter.
Both Lenz and Jennifer shook up from the loud crash. "I'll check on it honey," Jennifer offered, slowly untangling herself from Lenz as she slithered to their bedroom door. The sounds of a struggle came from Renzyl's bedroom as she neared it. Before opening the door, she asked, "Is everything okay? Renzyl?" she knocked on the door. But as there was no response, she grew more worried and opened the door slowly, letting herself look into the room. With the low light within the room, all she could see was Renzyl moving vigorously upon the bed. "Poor Renzyl must be having a nightmare," she acknowledged, slithering into the room. And with no warning she grabbed a hold of Renzyl's shoulders and shook him. "Renzyl....Renzyl.....wake up! It's but a nightmare," she tried to reason with him.
Renzyl let out a small gurgle as he was shook, as his eyes fluttered one of them was his usual yellow but the other had gone into a deep red as a small tear of black ran down his eye. Jennifer's voice, however, pierced into the dreamscape and desperately the dragon clinged to it and used it to wake himself up. While it felt like he had spent several minutes dragging himself from a muddy hole, the process that lifted him from his tormented nightmare was only a few seconds. Unfortunately as he woke up, when Jen shook him it caused him to cough violently and the black latex that was meant to engulf him splattered onto her chest, neck, and face as he gasped loudly and his completely yellow eyes opened wide.
"Agh!" she screamed, falling back at the sudden spew of......goo. She begin to wipe at it, attempting to remove it from herself. "Wha-what is this stuff?" she asked, failing in removing the muck from her scales, only succeeding in smearing it further upon her body. Her eyes looked at Renzyl, pleading for an answer to what is happening to her.
It took a second for Renzyl to realize he was actually awake, his hands roamed over several spots on his body as he checked with relief to find he was still him. When he heard Jennifer's cries, his relief turned to fear as he saw the naga on the floor with something on her as she looked up at him fearfully. "Oh no.... no no no no..." he gasped as he quickly got down and looked closer at the frighteningly similar material that was on her scales. "This can't be happening!" He tried to wipe it off of her, but the material refused to be moved by his scales and only seemed to make the blotches bigger.
Jennifer continued to struggle against the goo as it began to go against her nanites. Her whole body became flush with heat as the nanites tried to subdue the foreign matter that was slowly seeping into her body. She let out an ear piercing shriek as the goo found her entrance and began to push into her. Tears poured from her eyes as the latex goo continued to coat her. The smell was enough to enforce that it was latex that was coating her. "Please do something!" she screamed.
Lenz heard the shriek and was soon in the room, looking from his wife to Renzyl. "What have you done!?" he yelled, eyes glowing yellow.
Renzyl tried to say something, but nothing came to mind as his thoughts were flooded with how powerless he was to stop his own creation. He couldn't even look at Lenz, instead his eyes continued to focus on Jennifer as the liquid latex crept steadily over her body undeterred. "I..." he began to say, only to have to hold his muzzle to keep back the groan as the goo penetrated her, the pleasure of the change caused his sheath to fill out slightly even as he tried to resist. "Oh god... Lenz..."
"You think this is enjoyable!" Lenz growled, his hands clasping around Renzyl's neck, pulling him up from the floor. "You better have a way to fix this.......or you're dead!" Lenz threatened, letting his claws dig into Renzyl's throat. Jennifer could only lay there and watch as she was left, pinned to the ground, unable to move her body as the latex has now coated most of it. "Lenz! Stop!" Renzyl managed to say as he felt his windpipe being squeezed. He had to somehow explain to him what was happening, but the combined threat plus the lustful sensation of a new pet made it extremely hard. Finally he grabbed onto the naga's wrists and pulled his legs up until they were on his shoulders, then pushed hard to both pinch the nerves to loosen his grip on his throat as well as propel himself away from the irate attacker. With the pressure gone he took a deep breath before he held his hands up to try and stop a second grapple.
Lenz nudged back a bit, and stopped, looking down at his partner. "Don't worry Jennifer, I'll be back, I could fix this. And you! You're dead when I get back!" he pointed at Renzyl. He quickly scurried out of the room, and barreled down the hallway. His memory of where he left his laptop last assisted in acquiring it swiftly. Lenz was soon back at Jennifer's aid, "stay back, or I'll put you down." he continued to warn Renzyl.
"Lenz, I just..." Renzyl started to say, but as he saw Lenz begin to work on reverting the other naga along with the recent conversion and threat on his life he knew his fragile hold on a caring relationship was shattered. He lost grip on his psyche, as he did so he fell onto his hands and knees with his head hung low as a familiar warmth flooded his veins... and as he knelt there his draconic length slid completely free from his sheath as a low laugh escaped his lips. "I wouldn't tamper with her if I were you Lenz..."
Lenz looked up from his laptop, setting it aside, and lunged at Renzyl, mouth open wide as his fangs flew at Renzyl. Without even looking the dragon dived underneath the lunge, his body rolled across the floor before he pushed up with one hand back onto his feet. Lenz was quick to recover and struck at him again, only with a fist. As Renzyl managed to deflect the blow with his upper arm his eyes snapped open, now a bright red as he countered with a kick towards the naga's mid-section. Lenz flinched, and ensnared his attacker with his powerful coils, letting them squeeze him effortlessly.
"Nnng!" Renzyl groaned as the air was forced out of him from the squeeze, but as Lenz continued to crush him he suddenly felt the body slide up with an unnatrual slickness as the dragon was now perched on top of his coils with a smirk. Though, that left Lenz capable of removing the coils from beneath his feet, causing Renzyl to tumble to the ground. The dragon landed on his feet with a flourish, but without the proper base he found himself at an attack disadvantage and instead bounced away from the naga to re-establish his position. Lenz used the increased amount of distance and continued to initiate the kill code from his previous encounter with a malicious glob of muck. Though, this was meant to restore the nanites within Jennifer. The progress was not immediate, but the blotches of latex upon her scales were slowly diminishing.
Unfortunately Lenz's focus allowed Renzyl to make a charge, though instead of attacking the naga directly he instead slid-kicked the laptop out from under his clawed fingertips. "She could be enjoying herself you know." He mocked as he looked up at him with a sneer before he lowered his voice. "They always do." Lenz instinctively lunged and caught the laptop before it could crash to the floor, he landed on the other side of the bed, unable to continue the restoration code.
"You know you're sick. I let you into my family, we have an open-heart to your innocence, and this is how you repay us?! You have no heart, you're just a narcissistic asshole, and you're going down!" Lenz roared. Though he didn't attack, instead he held a defensive stance and continued to type out the code, which he hoped would set Renzyl back a few steps. "How many people have you done this to?" Lenz asked, trying to keep Renzyl occupied with talk as he worked.
"Me? I've lost count." Renzyl replied as he laughed, his voice lower as his body adopted a more demonic visage. "This one, though, I have to count to him..." he nearly spat at that word, his disdain clearly evident before he continued. "I always love the way they squirm, as they know what they're feeling is pure pleasure. You know... I've always wanted a few nagas to play with..." The dragon watched as Lenz continued to type out the lines of code, he winced slightly as he could feel the effects on the nanites he had unknowingly symbiotically bonded to. Lenz tried to ignore the squabble that Renzyl tried to use to infuriate him, he bit down on his tongue and thought. "So, there's someone more powerful than you? So you're like his bitch, huh? Doing his orders like a good little boy?" Lenz mocked, trying to poke at the thing Renzyl seemed to hate. He was nearly done with editing the code, and needed just one more thing........a DNA sample in order to lock on to Renzyl. "You like getting fucked by someone that's bigger then you twink?" He set the laptop down and gestured for Renzyl to come at him. "Come on, if you're all big and tough, come and get me."
Though Renzyl appeared to be amused at the naga's suggestion, his hands were balled up into fists that shook slightly as he glared at him. "There's a difference between 'big and tough' and powerful, my soon to be fucktoy." Renzyl said, the contempt dripped from his words as he maintained his stance. "True power comes from winning without ever having to step forward yourself." His eyes glowed red as his fingers twisted by his side in unknown gestures, and Lenz could see Jennifer's body get up and start to slither towards him as the dragon sidestepped so she was between them. Lenz was at loss for words, he had to not harm Jennifer.
"No, it's by persistence that's what makes up a true man, a true person. By putting someone before you, you display how weak you are, how the need for protection is so valuable due to you being incapable of protecting yourself. Let alone having a woman do it for you....." Lenz said, letting his words sting at Renzyl, hoping to have that get Jennifer out of his line of attack.
"Oh, I'm not having her protect me." Renzyl said with an evil grin as he manipulated the latex within the female naga. "Since you won't listen to me, perhaps you'll listen to her at how wonderful it feels to be... almost... a completely new creature. Just look at her, the fact you haven't jumped her this second makes me wonder..." he let the question hang for a second to allow Lenz to consider all of its implications before he continued. "Tell you what, if you don't have your snake meat in those soft, sensual, latexy folds of hers by the end of this, I'll revert her myself." Lenz smirked, he was confident in being able to maintain his chastity for a fight. He knew that she was in there, but the latex was quickly changing that. He thought to himself a way to get what he needed. "Forgive me my love," he whispered. He lunged at her, letting his shoulder impact her midsection. Then, he set his sights on Renzyl, as he continued to sail towards him. He had his clawed hands puncture into his torso and held him off the ground. "Ha! What now Renzyl?" He mocked, throwing the demonic dragon through the wall and into the hallway.
"Hitting a girl... how chivalrous..." he managed to say between coughs as he picked himself off the ground and staggered slightly to another wall. Lenz turned and quickly retrieved his laptop, sliding the sample of Renzyl upon his clawed fingers into the scanner, completing the code.
"Had to be done......besides, you're in more trouble than me." Lenz scoffed, hitting the return key. There was a noticeable reduction in the blotches on Jennifer, but it also seemed to affect Renzyl as well. As the latex nanites returned onto his skin, he quickly realized with horror that he didn't have any control over them, and as they bonded with the rest of his body it quickly encased him until his entire body was imprisoned in a thick layer of the black material. Only his eyes and nose remained uncovered, the rest of him was a shiny, dragon-shaped shell that moved ever so slightly as he tried to get out of it. Lenz hefted a roar of victory, and rushed to Jennifer's side. As Jennifer recovered from her drowsiness she glared at Renzyl scornfully.
"Why would you do such a thing?" She muttered, letting her words infest like venom. "You were so nice, what happened?"
Renzyl glared at the both of them and tried to bounce towards them, but all he managed to do was tip himself back against the wall as he let out a muffled cry of annoyance. After half a minute he appeared to give up completely, his eyes closed as his body sagged. Shortly thereafter cracks appeared on the latex bonds, which splintered out until the entire shell shattered and left what appeared to be a semi-conscious, normal black dragon collapsed on the floor.
Both nagas stared at the dragon, it must be a trick they thought, so they weren't going to take any risks. Lenz took the set of chains he kept in their bedroom and chained the dragon to the frame of the bed, having Jennifer lay upon it. Then, he began the wake up procedure, a rather abrupt smack across the muzzle. "What are you up to?" he questioned.
The dragon's yellow eyes snapped open as he felt the harsh sting on his muzzle, then they wandered a bit until they fixated upon the naga's unchanged form. It caused him to blink several times, usually when he woke up there were some sort of strange latex clad creature he had to usher back into the pocket dimension. "You're... you're not enslaved..." he managed to stammer out, though his line of thought was interrupted when he realized he was completely chained up. "This is new..."
"And they're staying on until you explain yourself!" Lenz ordered, "And what's with your eyes? You taking drugs or something?! If what just happened was due to you taking a drug, you are going to be in a world of hurt!" Lenz threatened, towering over the small black dragon. "Well? Speak up.."
"Lenz, you're being a bit harsh on him...... He probably doesn't remember anything." Jennifer reasoned, trying to sound caring, but was still in favor of her husband's accusations.
For a few seconds Renzyl just looked up at the naga, saying nothing, until his lower lip began to quiver slightly. It wasn't long after that he burst into tears, his words came between loud, sobbing gasps. "I'm so sorry! I tried so hard, it's been so long, I thought I could keep him away! Then Jennifer started to change... and you threatened me... and I... I... I..." he hiccuped several times before he managed to blurt out the rest. "I just wanted to be normal for a while! It's been so long..." his sobs degenerated into tearful whimpering as long pent up anguish was finally released. Jennifer was beginning to tear up too while Lenz remained unmoved.
"How do we know you're not lying? You better start explaining yourself better...." Lenz ordered.
"I'm... a demon." Renzyl finally said after several long, tearful snorts. "Some sort of ancient, reincarnated... thing, what you probably saw earlier. I had to run away from home... he kept converting friends, family, consuming my old life so I would succumb to 'my true form'. I don't want to be him... I just kept running and running, and somehow landed in your dimension... you were so nice to me, it felt good... and then he... I... almost turned you into sex slaves. I'm so weak, I can't even resist him for one night..."
The initial shock of both nagas were genuine. They both looked at each other, Lenz was uneasy with the whole situation, but Jennifer was always trying to find the good in everyone. "It's okay.." she cooed, sliding off the bed and hugging Renzyl. "We'll find a way to help you, and we'll be ready the next time your.....he....pops in again." Lenz stayed there, glaring down at Renzyl.
"You're going to have to....or you're not going to stay with us any further." He declared, slithering to the window. Jennifer felt a bit cold at Lenz's frigid demeanor.
"Don't worry, we'll work on something....they have things to calm the anger within.....we'll make something work. Yoga, Buddhism, feng shui, something." She urged, never letting go of Renzyl.
Renzyl felt safe in Jennifer's embrace and allowed her to do so, she sounded genuine and it would be so nice to finally get some help. But the more he thought about it, the more fearful he got, and suddenly he shook his head fervently. "I can't... I can't stay here to put you in jeopardy." He blurted out. "This time, with you... it was an accident. Lenz embarrassed him already, that may keep him away for a while, but he's going to come back and with a vengeance. He is set on destroying everything that makes me happy, and if I wake up and see you two covered in latex while being... provocative, I think that would be the end of me. No, I have to go." "Heh, the cunt can't take a little defeat, can he." Lenz murmured, looking back at Renzyl. "You better get as far away from here if you want to do that.....you should exile yourself..." then something dawned upon Lenz, "or we could join you, I mean, we are already ghosts to society, and we are never going to be capable of re-integrating with our old lives...."
"Really?" Renzyl said, astonished. "You will willingly go with me, putting yourselves in danger of becoming slaves to the demon just to help me out? I'm not sure if I could ever get back here you know, the demon has the knowledge of the portals, I'm just a novice..."
"Then we'll have to pack light." Jennifer acknowledged, loosening the chains around Renzyl's hands.
"And I'll develop some device that would easily subdue your.....uh..him... with the kill code that got him this time." Lenz added, grabbing his laptop and shutting it down. "When is he capable of teleportation? Must he be in control? Or can he do it subconsciously?" Jennifer helped Renzyl up to his feet and patted off the dust.
"It will take a day for me to be able to open another portal." Renzyl replied as he got up with Jennifer's help and regained his composure. "He does a lot of the control subconsciously, at least enough for me not to die in some inhospitable world. The only problem is we'll have to go through his dimensional space between dimensional jumps, but I know how to protect you. So if you really are coming, you have a day to get packed."
Lenz pulled Jennifer aside and talked to her for a few minutes. Renzyl observed, unable to hear their conversation. They gave a loving hug and they both nodded. "We'll be ready," Lenz told Renzyl. "And I'll have to start on that device..... And she will start on the other half." Jennifer slithered over to the laptop, and began to search for methods of calming one's self as Lenz went off to work in the main section of the cabin on the subduing device.
"Just let me wash the snot off my face and I'll be right back to help." Renzyl said as he watched the nagas go to work. Some part of him felt hopeful, something he hadn't felt in a long time as he went into the bathroom to wash up. As he finished and looked up in the mirror, his cheerful smile turned into a frown as he saw his demonic visage stare back at him.
"They're going to fail... just like you." The demon sneered as he crossed him. "You will not succeed in this."
Renzyl looked back towards his new friends, then towards his reflection, his expression stone-faced. "Will not? More like you hope not." He replied bitterly as he tossed the towel down. "I finally have help, and you're scared now that someone stood up against you. You may have total control in that realm of yours, but now it's MY turn to fight back. Lenz and I will see you around, bitch." With that he turned and left, ready to start anew once more.
