The Knight 3: Travis Addventer
Chapter 3:
Travis was sitting on the plane thinking about what his father said about his pendant, which he kept on at all times, and what he was.
(Flashback)Travis and his dad pulled up to the airport. His dad turned off the car and look to his son and said "Son, it's time to tell you the truth about your birth." Travis look confused and replied "What are you talking about dad what is the truth about me?" His dad took a deep breath and said "You and me are from the islands your real mother is there, but because of or love for each other we were shunned by many people and the wildlife. What I'm trying to say is that these Islands are your home and you are only half human and half pokemon my boy. Your mother was a Zoroark who happened to be part lucario and her gift for you is that pendant that you wear around your neck." Travis couldn't believe what he was hearing from his father. He looked at him a said "Why did you keep this a secret from me, and never tell me that we aren't American at all? Why did you do it?" Travis dad looked at his son and replied "Your mother made me promise that when you went to the islands that you would be told. Now would be a good time to look at your self, your real self, which isn't this one."
Travis replied "How do I do that dad?" His dad simply said "Just take off your pendant and look in the mirror my boy." So Travis did just that. First he pulled out the hand mirror from the glove compartment. Then he slowly took off his pendant and look in to the mirror. He was surprised what he look like. He look like a human-fox hybrid with blood red hair and blue fur with a spike on his chest and two on the back of his hands. Travis look to his father and said "So this explanes those odd burst of speed and super strength that I have all the time." His dad looked happy and sad at the same time. He simply replied "You look a lot like your mother my boy." Travis just put the pendant back on and said to his dad "No mater what you and my step-mother are my family, and I will see you next year with a story of my own." (End Flashback)
As Travis thought about what to do when he got to the islands. Suddenly it just came to him he would go look for his real mother, and find her to get her side of the story. Before the plane took off, one more person got on with just a carry on bag. He looked like he was on a mission for someone. As the plane flew toward his destination Travis slowly thought up a plan on how to find his mom. He didn't notice that the man on the plane kept to himself and coldly refused anything from the waitress. The man also kept checking his bag as if to make sure something important was within. Suddenly he stood up and walked toward the back of the plane where he could easily access the mechanics. He studied the mechanics for a while, then shook his head and started for the front of the plane.
Travis watched him walk past and shivered as he got a dark impression. The man ignored him and knocked on the cockpit door. A stewardess started to stop him, when he pointed a gun at her head and said softly "If you want anyone to live, tell them to go to the back of the plane and cover their heads." She nodded and ran to the back whispering to passengers to follow her. Travis understood what was going on and followed her while most just stayed in their seats thinking that she had gone nuts. The man watched her go and nodded deciding he'd done what little he could for the passengers. He knew that he had to do this, otherwise his family's lives would be in danger. This way, they wouldn't know the shame of having a parent and spouse in prison. Instead they would think he'd been an unlucky passenger who didn't escape the blast.
He burst into the pilots room and ripped open the duffel bag revealing the bomb which was set to blown in one minute. He looked at the pilots and said "I'm sorry but it's either our lives or my families. I couldn't allow them to die so I took a job I knew was a suicide mission. However to save you the pain of blowing up, I'm going to kill you." He pulled out the gun then shot both pilots as they looked at him. He sighed softly and said "I hope that stewardess at least saved one person otherwise my warning was for naught."
Meanwhile Travis and the stewardess huddled at the back of the plane, and used luggage to try and weaken the blast. Travis looked at the stewardess and said "Why did that man tell you to come back here?" She shrugged and said "I have no idea, but I thought it best to follow his advice because he looked like he had something he needed to do." Suddenly the plane started to lose altitude. The man came on over the speaker and said "Hello laides and gentlemen. My name isn't important, I just came on to warn you that the plane will blow up in a matter of seconds. However we are over your destination, so if any you manage to survive the explosion, you may find yourselves down there. If so, please forgive me for what I've done. I will never forgive myself, but it was for my family."
Travis looked at the stewardess and started to ask if she knew what he was talking about when the front of the plane exploded in a fiery blast. Travis turned toward the sound of the explosion and was blown away by the blast. It completely engulfed the plain, blinding Travis and the stewardess. As he started to fall Travis felt something grab hold of him and opened his eyes a little bit. The only thing he could tell was that the creature holding him had white coloration. Then he slipped away into unconsciousness due to the pain. His last thoughts were of what happened to the stewardess.

John ran from the young rilou's hiding place and shouted to his men that he was on her tail. They just listened to his command and continued going after her family. Those that were completely loyal to him kept missing, while those loyal to the company tried to exterminate the entire clan. John kept running until he was far enough away that no one could hear or see him. He checked around then radioed in that he lost the riolu and would continue to look. He glanced up as the sound of an explosion scattered throughout the area. He saw the explosion and sighed then blinked as a white pokemon flew through it and seemed to catch something. He watched it for a few seconds then decided to follow it quickly. He ran after it for a while then tripped over something on the ground as the creature vanished into the distance. He looked down and saw he'd tripped over a boy who was unconscious.
He looked up then picked the boy up and started looking for some shelter. After a few hours of searching he finally found a cavern and set the boy down inside. He made a fire then went out and caught some rabbits, and collected berries. He roasted the rabbits over the fire and skinned the berries, then gathered water for the two of them. While John was out gathering water, Travis woke up to the smell of rabbits roasting. He glanced at the fire, then leaned back against the wall of the cave deciding to wait. Travis tried to remember how he got there, and came up with the simple conclusion that the white pokemon he'd seen had brought him here. He let out a long sigh and heard someone say "So you're finally awake. That's good, why don't you tell me your name and why you're here?"
Travis blinked and looked to the entrance to see a large man with a rifle on his back standing there. Travis sighed and said "My name is Travis, and you are?" The man laughed and said "John. At your service. So Travis, why are you in this particular region?" Travis blinked and said "I made it out of America?" John nodded and said "Yeah, so since you're here I have a proposition." Travis blinked and asked "What would that proposition be?" John smiled and said "I'll help you with anything you need done, if you help me protect a young riolu. I'll have to leave her in your care until I can get the ones who want her off her tail. If you do this for me like I said, I'll help you with anything you need." Travis thought about it then said "Alright, I guard your riolu, you help me find my mom." John nodded and held out his hand to make sure that they had a deal.
Travis smiled and shook his hand then the two of them dug into their meal. Travis took his time and savored every bite, thinking about how his last moments could have been a fiery explosion of death. John watched Travis eat and decided something important had happened to him, so he figured he'd ask him about it later. However after dinner, as John started to ask him what had happened to get Travis where he'd found him, Travis fell asleep. John sighed and tossed his sleeping bag over him, then laid down next to the fire and fell asleep.
