Part 2 - Confinement
The girls woke up in a cell, no more then eight feet by six feet. They could see through the bars they weren't the only ones affected by whatever changed them. Several cells were filled, some with men others with woman, all looked to be affected. None could be called human anymore, there were some who seemed to be more animal then human. There were some who couldn't even talk anymore because of how warped their bodies had become. It looked like someone had mixed a zoo's worth of animals with humans. If it was a mammal it was represented. There were even a few reptiles. Dani curled up against Launi as she looked around. Soon a voice boomed over the loud speakers. The only thing every one of those in their cell block had was those who could where wearing cotton gowns.
"You are all here because of something that is happening. We don't know what causes it or how to stop it, but we are working on it. Right now we are working on better accommodations for those who are affected, and will work with those who are willing to participate in experiments."
Dani whimpered as she heard this. Launi hugged Dani to comfort her. "We'll get through this."
Dani nodded and stayed curled up against Launi. "Why did this happen to us?" She managed as she looked over her body, still not sure why they had changed.
"I don't know." Launi said as she wrapped her tail around Dani's waist and pulled Dani on top of her. Dani snuggled into Launi's chest feeling for the first time what it must have been like for Launi all those years where Launi would curl up against Dani's side.
The two weren't left alone for too long. The door to their cell opened and a pair of men dressed in moon suits walked in.
"Would you please come with us?" One man said his voice garbled slightly by the suits voice amplifier.
Dani and Lina looked at each other for a second before standing up realizing that it would be better then sitting in a cramped cell.
They were led down the cell block, and through a gate guarded by a man with a M-16, realizing that they best behave they stayed quiet.
"Why are we in jail?" Dani asked as she stood next to Launi.
"We didn't have any place that could contain all the infected people and keep them effectively quarantined until we could figure out what to do. So we reopened one of the recently decommissioned jails to house those infected and others who were in the areas of those infected. As well as contain some of the more violent of those who have been infected." The man in front of them said as he led them past another cell block, this one containing people whose cell doors were left open.
"Will be allowed to leave after this?" Launi asked as she looked into the human cell block.
"We plan on letting as many go as we can, only keeping those who pose a threat to others. Right now the feds are working on figuring out the cause of this virus." The man said as they reached the infirmary. "We are just going to do a few quick checks to see what we can and take a blood sample."
After a quick check up, both girls had a couple of vials of their blood drawn and had their names taken down. As well as photos taken and new ID's were issued to them. They were then lead to the showers where they had to quickly shower. After that they were given a new pair of cotton gowns until clothes could be found that would fit their new bodies before they were led to the cafeteria.
They took place in line. Behind them a wolf got into line and went to run his hand along Launi's ass. "Hey there kitty. Want to go play with the big bad wolf?" He said trying to make the best of the situation he found himself in.
Launi's response to the grope was the usual slap to the face, but this time it led to a series of four red streaks across his face. She unknowingly clawed him. He put his hand to his face and pulled it away, he saw the blood and backed away.
Soon they were being served. Unappealing meat and vegetables were piled onto their trays. Launi and Dani stayed quiet as they walked to an empty table. Launi and Dani looked at the food and tried it. The little bit of food in their stomachs caused them to growl. Launi and Dani quickly downed their food. They were led back to their cell where they laid down, and rested. Soon they fell asleep with Dani laying down on top of Launi.
The next day they were faced with the same. They woke up and were taken to the showers and then the cafeteria. And then returned to their cells where they were locked for the rest of the day until it was time for Lunch. Then they were given an hour out in the courtyard before being returned to their cells.
"Why are they keeping us here like we are nothing better then animals." Dani said as she curled up against Launi.
"I don't know." She said before she started to rub Dani's head causing Dani to purr when Luani rubbed behind her ears. "That feel good?" Launi asked as she smiled down at Dani. Dani nodded and wrapped an arm around Launi's chest resting her head on one of Launi's breasts.
The two spent most of the afternoon like that before they were taken back for further testing. When Launi and Dani arrived at the infirmary they were forced by two armed guards into separate rooms. Dani was approached by a doctor.
"What are you going to do to me?" Dani asked as she found herself being strapped to the table by the guards.
"Just a few test, but sadly we can't have you moving around so the restraints are necessary until we have completed them."
Dani was about to open her mouth to protest when a gag was roughly shoved in it to keep her from speaking. Dani kept trying to break free but soon found herself restrained further by the two guards as the went to inject her with a pneumatic syringe. She soon felt herself going into a twilight state as the sedative started its work on her mind. The doctor dismissed the guards as Dani stopped fighting. The doctor pulled out a few instruments and set them down as he looked over her. "Just a few tests." He said as he placed his hand on her forehead. She whimpered trying to get away from him. But was unable to move thanks to the sedative.
The doctor smiled and looked at her. "Lets see what's going on inside you." He said as he pulled over an ultrasound machine. Applying the gel to the transducer he ran it over her chest to get a picture of her heart and then her lungs before moving down to her belly. "Wish I had a MRI here." He grumbled as he looked at the images on the screen. "Seems like everything is still there where it should be for the most part." He said as he pulled on a rubber glove and spread a little lubricant on one of the fingers which he pushed into Dani's snatch. She tried to get away, but was unable to do anything more then make a few whimpers as he violated her. Dani's body started to betray her mind as she got wet. He soon managed to put his whole fist in. "Amazing how much you can stretch for such a small animal." He went to spread her open as wide as he could eliciting a muffled moan from her. "Seems like you animals have changed a lot more then we originally thought." He said before he added a second fist, really stretching her out. "Could almost fit someone in side you." He said before pulling his hands out and taking off the glovesHe said before looking over her. "Wonder what it feels like." He looked out towards the door, noticing the guards weren't watching he started to unbuckle his belt and pull off his pants. Dani looked at what he was doing and tried to spit out the gag to yell for help. But was unable to and closed her eyes wishing it was all a dream.
She woke up as Launi nuzzled her. "Hey, wake up." Launi said softly as Dani opened her eyes, sighing as she realized it was just another one of her memories from their first few days as those that were 'infected' as the media started to call it.
"Just a nightmare." Dani said reassuring Launi before looking around and noticing the alarm clock said 2:58 AM. She had been reliving the same scene for several nights. That one day haunting her memories.
Launi smiled and hugged her. "Nothing bad will happen to you anymore." She said before nuzzling Dani.
Dani closed her eyes and soon they were asleep again.
Several doctors were around Dani sizing up the situation. Dani's stomach appeared to be holding quintuplets that were full terms. It was in fact that same doctor that had earlier raped her. She didn't remember but soon after he started she had blacked out and when she came to she was surrounded by doctors. She was no longer restrained and Launi was sitting next to her with her paw on Dani's shoulder. Dani looked down and realized what she had done. But her body was still frozen from the sedative though her mind was left working.
"What happened?" She managed as she looked down at her belly.
"We don't know miss. But you have one of our doctors inside you." The short doctor said as an ultrasound machine was wheeled in. The doctor used the machine to take a look at Dani's occupant. "He's still alive somehow. If you don't mind, we'd like to study this."
Launi shook her head for Dani. "Isn't enough that you found her tied up with that man inside her? Can't you leave us alone?" She said as she started to tear up. "What did she do to deserve that kind of treatment?"
The short doctor put his hand on her shoulder. "I never approved of what he did. And never gave him authorization to do so unless the person was willing. I am sorry and you will be compensated as best as we can offer. But we would like to do some more tests on her, and you if you're willing to. I promise nothing will happen unless either of you okay it."
Dani was still shocked at the sight of her belly. "Can you get him out?"
The short doctor shook his head. "I don't want to risk that. If you were able to get him in, maybe you can get him out yourself."
Dani nodded. "Launi, how'd you get me out when I was in you?"
This confused the doctors at first. "You mean you were in her?" The taller doctor asked as he looked at Dani and then Launi.
Launi nodded. "I don't know how it happened, but when I was changing, I was terribly aroused to the point where it felt I would die if I didn't get off. Dani helped me but some how ended up inside of me during the events. At first I couldn't get her out, but the next morning, before we were dragged off here, I managed to push her out. She went in as a human and came out like that." Launi said before scratching behind Dani's ears. Causing her to purr.
"Interesting." The doctor said. "Now I'd really like to run some tests. But only if your willing to."
Dani looked at Launi for a minute before nodding at the doctor. "If you get all of us out of this prison, including the ones who were and weren't changed. I'll let you run some tests."
Launi caught on. "Some place nice. And no locked doors."
The doctor sighed. "I'll have to talk to my superiors, but I'll see what we can do for everyone. But for now, if you don't mind we'd like to keep you here until we get him out of you."
Dani and Launi nodded.
It was the next day before Dani could push out the pervert who raped her. Dani, Launi and the other doctors were all given a surprise when a person came out missing his bait and tackle, and gaining a more feminine,yet still human, body yet still human, He, or she as it was pretty evident the doctor had become, was hand cuffed and taken away, kicking and screaming as she realized what happened to herself,to a separate room to be given an examination and then imprisoned. Dani looked at herself after they took the man away, surprised at how she didn't have any signs she just pushed out a person who was easily 6'3" from her womb. After a quick examination to make sure nothing was wrong with her she and Launi were escorted to their cell where the door was left open.
An impromptu lounge was set up in their cell block with a large wide screen TV that was playing the news. "The government just announced that there has been a strange outbreak. Thousands of people have been infected in the New England area. The symptoms are similar to that of a cold at first. The virus is not lethal but does cause genetic mutations in people. Anyone experiencing anything unusual should report immediately to their area hospital where they will be given the best treatment they can. Any already infected and changed, is urged to stay put and call the number that is on your TV right now. The rash of missing people that were reported in the past few weeks have recently been announced to being quarantined by the government. No one has been harmed."
Upon returning to their cell Dani and Launi curled up in the lower bunk where Dani fell asleep.
A week later Dani and Launi were escorted from their cell block to a waiting black Lincoln Town Car where they were Dani fell asleep in the back seat leaning against Launi. It was several hours of driving before they were brought to what looked like a very nice looking resort.
"Originally built during the Cold War as a shelter for Congress in case of an attack, I would like to invite you to where you and about 300 others are going to be living until the quarantine is up." The short doctor said as he opened the door to the back of the Town Car. Dani looked at it and then to Launi who nodded. Dani got out soon followed by Launi.
"It looks nice." Dani said as she looked at the main building which resembled a large inn.
"Built with one of those thousand dollar hammers the government is famous for buying." The doctor joked before showing them to a golf cart. A short drive down a narrow dirt path later. They arrived in front of a little cottage. "This is where you two will be staying for now. You'll find a refrigerator filled with some food and drinks. Feel free to enjoy them. If either of you need anything, and I do mean anything. The phone will connect you to an operator who will get you what you need." The doctor said as he opened the door. "You'll find everything you'll need. Including toiletries and fresh clothes inside."
Dani nodded. "Thanks, but what about the others?"
"They'll be arriving over the next few days. Those who can't be housed here or have agreed to the more extensive testing, have been taken elsewhere, though much nicer then were they have been housed previously." The doctor said reassuring Dani. "And feel free to roam the compound. You'll find another cart around back that you can take. Just stay on the grounds. They still need to clear those who have been infected to return to society as well as new laws governing those who did change."
Dani and Launi smiled and quickly thanked the doctor before heading into their cottage and looked around. Dani went into the bed room and looked around, seeing a gas fireplace and a queen sized four poster bed. She smiled and looked at it. "Launi. You need to check this out."
Launi walked up behind her and took a look for herself. "Wow. I didn't think that we'd be given a place this nice." She said as she went to the bay window and looked outside at the view of the lake behind their cottage. And it has a nice view as well." She said before looking at the heavy light green curtains and matching rug.
Dani wrapped her arms and tail around Launi as she walked up and enjoyed the view as well. "I have to say, there is only one thing I know of that is more beautiful." She said before letting go to go check out the rest of the cottage. They had a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi and separate glass walled shower. After looking at the granite covered walls. There was a large sink with a full body mirror next to it.
Dani smiled as she woke up again as light starting to come from around the edges of the curtains. She looked around the room. Little had changed since then, they still lived on the compound. Even though they were allowed to leave anytime they wanted.
The virus eventually reached world wide despite attempts to quarantine it. Even though those who were changed by the virus were generally excepted into the world, there were those who still wished to see the changed put into captivity. And there were many cases were people actually kidnapped and sold those affected as slaves or companions. No one had found a way to reverse the virus' effects except for some of those who were granted special abilities thanks to the virus. Those few were widely sought out for, by those who wanted to return to their old selves and by those who wanted to become something more then human. And two of them were just waking up to the start of a new day in a cottage on an old Cold War shelter built by the government.
