Destiny for Two Pt 4
Creeping closer to the campfire, I caught a powerful scent in the air. It smelled of water from a fresh mountain spring. It was almost overpowering to my senses, and it started arousing me. The only thing I could figure was that it was a female Pokamon in heat. As we reached the tree line we heard a very loud howl.
"Oh my god YES!"
"Jude what do you think that was about?" Luna asked me in a low whisper.
"I don't know but I can give a few guesses." I said with a half-smile forming on my face.
I used my aura guidance to scan the camp and not only did I see two aura's flaring with passion, but I noticed that one was a human male with love emanating from him toward his Pokamon. I quickly stopped using my guidance and placed Luna on the ground beside me.
"I need you to stay here honey." I said with a smile.
Luna looked at me in a questioning way and said, "What are you going to do?"
"Nothing dear just stay here for a few minutes, I'll call you over when I'm done."
I then made my way to the edge of the campsite and noticed that both the male human and the female Floatzel were lying down embracing each other passionately and were deep in a kiss. I cleared my throat load enough for them to hear. Startled from the sudden noise they both jumped up into fighting stances ignoring the fact that he was naked.
I put my hands up in a passive gesture and told them, "I am not here to hurt you so please calm down. I just want to talk."
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" He asked getting ready for a battle.
I simply shrugged at the question and told him, "I'm just a simple passer-by looking for help with something important."
"So are you going to tell us who you are?" he said regaining his serious look.
"Don't try anything funny or I will attack." The female Floatzel said in Pokaspeech.
The human trainer had apparently forgotten that she was standing beside him because he jumped about two feet away from her in a rather comical fashion. When he regained his composure he looked back at me.
"My name is Jude, and I was sent here to Olivine to find someone. I was using my aura to search the city while sitting outside the gates and when I finished we saw your campfire. So we decided to investigate." I explained to them. This seemed to boggle them both as they had confused looks on their faces.
"Who is this we you speak of... and what do you mean 'sent here to find someone'?" the man said.
"I would call her in but you have a problem." I said as I nodded my head toward his lower extremities with a chuckle.
He caught the hint and quickly found his underpants, putting them on. I then called on Luna to come over. The Floatzel relaxed her stance after realizing neither of us would be a threat to her or her trainer, and started blushing a bright red. "So you heard that last scream didn't you." She said sheepishly as she averted her gaze from us.
"Yes we did. What was it for?" Luna asked curiously.
"They were pleasing each other because she is in heat." I said bluntly.
This made the Floatzel blush even more and she ducked behind her trainer trying to get out of their sight before she died of embarrassment. This made me fall to the ground laughing, causing Luna to slap me on the shoulder.
"Stop that 'dad', your embarrassing her too much. Plus it's rude. My name is Luna, What are yours?" Luna said blushing herself and putting her hand out to shake the Floatzel's hand.
"My name is Douglas, Doug for short, and this is Faris. She is my love and I am her mate." Doug proclaimed happily. Beaming with pride he grabbed her up and gave her a big hug and a passionate kiss.
"It warms my heart to see a trainer loving their Pokamon. Most of the trainers I've been attacked by have been part of the Enclave, and they tend to torture their Pokamon into submission or use them as sex toys for their own twisted pleasure." I explained growling through clenched teeth.
Doug and Faris both visibly shook with anger at the mention of the Enclave. "They Pokanapped Faris a little while back and I tracked them back to their base. It sends chills down my spine every time I think about what I saw in there as I rescued her." He then relaxed and said, "Well Faris, how about we... wait a minute all of this time you have been talking in human speech haven't you?"
"Yes I have. My parents trainers taught my mother and I how to speak it." I explained with a hint of sadness. Trying to take my mind off of my family I said. "So what were you about to say to Faris?"
"Oh! Right, let's get our guests some food dear. They look like they could eat." Doug said regaining his upbeat mood. "Just so you know, I can understand Pokaspeak also, so if you ever just want to speak in your own tongue go ahead. Lived a few years in the viridian forest just to learn."
With that we all sat around the campfire and started talking, and eating, and eventually fell asleep.
Luna woke up abruptly due to a nightmare she was having. The nightmare was a replay of the events that occurred in the villages last hours. She saw that it was night outside still but decided to walk outside the tree line of the camp into the field. She sat down beside a tree out in the middle, contemplating to herself.
'What is going to happen to us now mommy? Am I supposed to follow him for the rest of my life? I'm attracted to him mom, and I don't think he will ever see me as more than his child because of the promise he made to you.' With that thought tears started falling from her eyes as she continued to think to herself about a future of being just a daughter to Jude.
In the distance just outside of the field to the north, Granbull and his snub's sit watching Luna by the tree.
"When do we do this boss?" one Snubbull says.
"Shut up you idiot, she may hear you. We attack when I say we do and no sooner." Granbull says in a whispered tone.
Luna started nodding off as she sat there crying, not hearing the group as they started sneaking up on her.
"NOW! Grab her!" Granbull said as they ran at Luna, catching her by surprise.
She almost had no time to ready herself for battle before they were on her. Jumping into the fighting stance her parents showed her, she quickly unleashed her folded down ear to pound a Snubbull who lunged at her. Then she used her Quick Attack to try and get back to the campsite, but Granbull had already anticipated this and was blocking her path. She decided to try and go around him but was tackled by one of the other Snubbull. Before she could regain her footing, another Snubbull tackled Luna from behind.
"JUDE!" Luna screamed out trying to wake the Lucario, to no avail.
Jude was fast asleep and her screams fell on deaf ears. However in the other tent, Faris was starting to stir due to a bodily function needing her attention. Once she exited the tent she started hearing the sounds of battle and quickly ran to see what it was. She got to the edge of the tree line and looked on in horror as four Snubbull and a Granbull were attacking Luna. She ran over to Jude and shook him violently, waking him up.
Jumping off of the ground I asked, "What the hell is wrong with you Faris?"
"Luna is being attacked by some Bull's! Get your ass up and help me save her!" She screamed at me.
My eyes shot wide open and I jumped off of the ground and she quickly showed me where they were. I dashed out into the field just in time to body slam a Snubbull preventing him from biting Luna's neck. Then quickly used Psychic to throw him at another who was aiming at us with a swift attack. Then I turned to face the Granbull, as Faris attacked the other two with a powerful Hydro Pump sending them flying.
"Why couldn't you just leave us alone." I said through my gritted teeth, steadily growing angry. "You could have gone on with your life in peace, but instead you had to try it again!" Referring to taking Luna for their pack. My aura started pulsing out of me and changing red as it engulfed my body. Altering my blue fur to red, and my cream-colored torso fur to brown. I could feel my rage growing once again as I held Luna's bruised unconscious body in my arms. Floatzel came running over to me and I handed Luna over to her and turned to face the Granbull, who was now visibly shaken as he gazed at my aura appearing physically around me.
"You will quickly learn the error of your ways!" I yelled at him charging with Extreme Speed. I also charged a Blaze Kick while running at him and once I was in position I roundhouse kicked him from behind sending him across the field.
He got up and brushed himself off saying. "That's it? Is that really all you've got?" He immediately used quick attack and charged me with a series of punches and bites, I was able to dodge most of the attacks but he was too fast. One of his bites landed as he clenched down on my left arm and started ripping flesh and muscle out.
Staggering back from this vicious attack, my mind started reeling from the pain. My aura died down and my fur changed back to the normal shade of blue and cream. I tried using an aura sphere with my one working arm but I was steadily losing blood and Granbull capitalized on this by using quick attack to gain some momentum. He executed a headbutt at the height of his speed, ramming into my left side. I dropped my arm, not even thinking about the wound there, trying to block the attack and when he hit.
SNAP!
My forearm broke in half sending the splintered bone flying out of the bite and spraying even more blood out. I started to black out at this point, but saw a faint shadowy figure flying through the air straight into the Granbull's face. Then everything went black due to the loss of blood.
I woke up a few days later in an infirmary bed, with a hose attached to my right arm and a cast on my left. I looked around the room and saw Doug sitting in a chair with Faris sitting beside him. My eyes went wide as I saw a Lopunny sleeping in a chair beside Faris.
"Luna, how did you evolve sweetie?" I said slightly loud.
Luna started grumbling as she opened her eyes to the sound of my voice, then she opened her eye fully and widened them seeing me awake finally. She ran over to my bed and threw her arms around my neck embracing me in a loving kiss. When she realized what she was doing she quickly pulled away blushed a dark shade of red, and then ran out of the room. Doug had witnessed all of this, as he had awakened when Luna ran over to me.
"She's been by your side this whole time worried that you wouldn't wake back up this time." Doug said.
When I noticed Doug was also awake, I said, "How did she evolve Doug, I can't think of anything... Oh, I see now." Realization hit me like a ton of bricks. Luna didn't see me as a father. She saw me as something more, something I don't think I could ever be to her. It made me sad to think that she loved me, knowing that I may never give her that kind of affection back. Now that she has evolved she will go into heat eventually and may lose control of herself, and I may lose control of myself also. I just hope that does not happen any time soon. I do love Luna, but my love for her is that of a father. I did not want anything to come between us in that regard.
Luna sat in the lobby of the Pokamon center wondering what was going to happen now since she slipped up with the kiss. She started tearing up at the thought that Jude may never return her affection, but she remained hopeful that her minor display might convince him to love her in kind. They had been together for four weeks now and each day and night she grew closer to him. His devotion to her was of course only that of a father, but she would have to try and convince him that it could be more than that, and it didn't have to be awkward in the least. Just then she noticed Faris walking toward her from the Pokacenter infirmary.
"Hey Faris, how is he doing?" Luna said, wiping away the tears that had permeated in her eyes.
"The nurse says he should be fine with some pain killers for his arm. She even said if we want to that we can leave in the next day or so, we just have to keep Jude from fighting. Why were you crying though." She said with an concern in her voice.
"Nothing important at the moment," Luna said putting on a fake smile.
Faris then got a serious look in her eyes and asked Luna, "Did you ever notice the change in his fur and aura before Luna?" Luna just looked at her with her head cocked to the side in a questioning way. "I know you saw his fur turn red and brown that night. That's not natural for any Lucario I've seen."
Luna got a worried look on her face and said, "He did that at the village when he saved my mother and I that terrible night." This sent a shiver down her spine as she thought of the events that unfolded when Jude had kicked the human in the skull caving it in, and then turned on the Arcanine with a Force Palm exploding its chest. She remembered all of the blood that sprayed forth after he did this, and how dangerous he looked when he turned to her. She knew though that he would never hurt her in any way even if he had not been in control of his actions. That's why she loved him, She knew with all of her heart that he would protect her at all cost.
"Luna! You have to give me every detail that you remember of the last time this happened." Faris said snapping Luna out of her thoughts.
Luna then proceeded to explain every detail that she could recall, down to the last drop of blood that dripped off of Jude's claws that night.
"Jude, I think we need to travel to the Sinnoh region and find someone that can take you to a Lucario clan." Doug said gaining a serious look on his face.
"What wrong Doug. Why do you think that." I said. He had thankfully pulled me out of my thoughts of Luna and myself, and our feelings for one another.
(Doug) Last night when you faced off against the Granbull your fur changed colors along with your aura. Do you remember?
(Jude) I remember putting myself between him and Luna in an attempt to keep him away from her. Other than that I can't remember anything else.
(Doug) You don't even remember your aura pulsing out of your body?
(Jude) No, my aura pulsing out is not a dangerous thing in itself, but if I cannot even recall that then there's something else wrong here.
(Doug) I know of a trainer in Sinnoh that may be able to help us find the Lucario of Sinnoh. First thing tomorrow we can head out on the ship to get there since nurse joy said you could leave whenever.
With that we decided our next step in this journey and I decided it was time to do some meditating before I went to sleep again. I needed to figure out why I keep losing my memory after going into a rage. Why is this happening to me....
