Fight for Alpha

It was now morning and all was going to plan for the fight of the two sons of the alpha. Shadey and his new mate Silverfang was sitting and watching what was going on. The pack was getting up the ring and preparing the pack its self for the watch. Liki on the other hand was talking to his mate.

"Liki... you don't have to do this, he's your brother. You don't need to fight for this." Uni said.

Liki looked at Uni.

"But don't you want to be alpha of the pack to? Even though he's my brother I'm not letting him become alpha. I want to be alpha of this pack protect it like my father is doing."

Uni gave a look at Liki and sighed. She got up and left him to sit there at his home. Liki watched his brother sit on the rock close by the ring. He sat there and studied his own brother. The muscle and the power he could see in the wolf. He knew that this fight he might die in if he's not careful.

Silver came over to Liki he looked over and saw Shadey and looked at Liki.

"Are you sure about this? I can call it off right now. You don't have to do this son you don't need to fight your brother to be alpha."

Liki growled at his father. "I want to do this dad. I want to be alpha I want to be alpha. I...."

"You don't know what it's like to be an alpha you are not ready from my point but your brother is he's shows that he be a great alpha. You want to be alpha for the power. But if this what you want fine then but when you are alpha you will see it's not all about the power it's about protecting what has been are's"

Liki looked down and sighed but got up when the pack howl was howled out that it is time. Before Liki left Silver his father said one more thing.

"It's up to you my son only you can choose the path."

Liki looked at his father and walked off. Shadey was standing at the ring. He watched his brother as he entered the ring. The pack surrounded the ring Silver was about to come over when two wolves came up to him not from this pack.

"Where is our son Shadow. We like to speak to him." Shadows step mom said.

"Well..." Silver gave a sad look on his face. "Your son is dead. He died a month ago."

"I see.... Well thank you." The two wolves left as the mom cried. Silver watched them leave as he had a sad look himself but he came over to the ring and sat down to his mate and the two mates of his sons. Silver then spoke to the two as the pack listened.

"Today my sons are here to become alphas one is ready no is about to be ready. But we are gathering here to watch my sons fight to become the new alpha. They will be your new leader and to make this pack stronger as a new alpha is born and teach it to become a good pack mate. You have watched them grown up every waking moment. You see Shadey the son of Shadow. The son of the wolf that was torched by my father. Then there is Liki the son of me. You seen him grow and follows rules. But is he ready to become an alpha?" Silver paused a moment.

"We are now gathers to see who... will become the Alpha. My sons.... I love the both of you I want to let you know who does not become alpha I will still love you no madder what. Now.... Begin." Silver howled and the fight started.

Shadey stood there and growled and started to walk in a circle. Liki was doing the same but talked. "Well brother here we are. It's hard to believe but let's give our pack a show." Liki then growled with a charge. Shadey kicked Liki in the face and knocked Liki down. Liki got back up quickly and Shadey charged and clamped down on Liki's back left leg, as Liki tried to dodge the attack. Liki whinnied and then growled. Liki tossed Shadey in the air. Shadey let go and back flipped back on the ring. Shadey growled loud. Some blood ran down his face as Liki tried to stay on his leg.

Shadey ran at Liki and kicked him again as Liki clawed Shadey in the face now leaving a bloody mark. Silver watch them both battle and saw Shadey how he started to look like his father from the marks and beatings he's been dealt with. Silver sat there and whined softly.

Liki and shadey showed their teeth off and walked a circle and they both charged. Liki was about to make another attack but Shadey beat him first. Shadey kicked Liki in his jaw and sent him up a little as Shadey turned fast and caught Liki in the neck. Shadey sank his teeth in but stopped before going to fare and killing his brother. He let go and walked away from the ring. He left Liki there whimpering and crying from the pain and losing blood. As Shadey walked away the pack knew that this right was over.

Shadey headed off to the lake to get cleaned up. But when he got there he sat down and stared at his reflection. Shadey just sat there and couldn't believe what he saw. The blood all over his black fur and his mouth. Silver his step- father came up to him.

"You did good my son I'm glade you stopped when you did. You really are meant to be an alpha of a pack. Just like your father would have been."

Shadey looked at Silver and growled.

"Am I? Or am I to be banished from the pack to just like my real dad was."

Silver growled and kicked Shadey.

"Don't ever say that... Your father never deserved what happen because of me. Your father was the nice's wolf ever. My father made him be banished the only reasion like I said is I was the son of the alpha. I love your father. He was a brother I never had. You should be assumed of what you said. If your dad was here be proboley being not happy to."

Shadey just looked at Silver and then whimpered.

"I'm sorry it's just I wanted to see my dad I want to know what my dad looked like and what was the pack I should have been in. I don't want to be alpha... I only did it to make Liki leave me be. Now look I near killed him. I don't deserve to show my face."

Shadey then ran off back to the pack. Silver sat there and whimper. "Oh Shadow.... What should I do?"

The wind blew threw his fur as he could feel the summer time air coming. Silver just sat there and whimpered. He got up and headed back to the pack.

Shadey laid on the rock watching the pack as his mate licked his fur to get the blood off. HE saw Liki still in bad shape but is recovering. He saw Terra his mom and watched her laid next to her son. Silver sighed and lay down. He decided to contact shadow again but never got anything but he heard a howl a real howl. He looks up and saw on the hill side a wolf howling. Silver smelled the scent and realized who it was.

It was his little brother..... Shadow.
