Bunny Invasion: Dirty Dealing
#6 of Bunny Invasion
Hey there, everypeoples! The next chapter is up and running. This one had the same problem as the first chapter. I kept having to rewrite it, with a bunch of false starts and bad choices on direction. Ultimately it came down to trying to put in a sex scene when it really detracted from the overall story I'm trying to tell (yes, there's a plot here that is more than a thin veil over all the sex. I'm as shocked as you are.). So no sex at all in this one. Sorry. Then again, it should get hot and heavy really fast after this. ^_^ I chalk most of the events here to my characters taking the story out of my hands (again). They're really bossy sometimes.
The next day
Kit sat in her car, staring at her front door. She'd driven up almost five minutes ago, but was having trouble bringing herself to get out. It wasn't like her at all to be so indecisive. Timothy's revelation had been a real shock to her system. While she stayed outside, she could still believe everything was fine. She could still pretend that she hadn't been so deeply betrayed.
Every time she reached for the handle, her anger grew again. Her claws would pop out despite herself, creating deep gouges in the door and the steering wheel. She feared somehow hurting Fennith almost more than finding out Timothy was right. She wasn't sure how she'd respond to confirming Lyla knew and helped. She was effectively the only family Kit had left anymore. Her heart just hurt worse thinking of it that way.
Finally she got out, grumbling to herself. "This wavering and fear is ridiculous. This is MY house. That is MY wife. I am not some terrified damsel about to be intimidated by some tart of a bunny." She grabbed her pack and headed in, forcing a neutral expression on her face until she found out what was really going on.
She didn't even get a chance to call out once she closed the door. Fennith flew into her arms, kissing her passionately as the she-wolf wagged madly. The enthusiastic greeting caught Kit completely off guard, the clear affection forcing her to fight back tears. At worst all wasn't completely lost. Fennith still loved her as much if not more. Kit kissed back, purring happily while trying to figure out what tasted funny on Fennith's lips. She didn't want to spoil the moment with her fears, but a lump formed in her throat and refused to go away.
When they broke the kiss, Fennith went to nipping at Kit's throat affectionately, rubbing her snout under Kit's chin as she pressed up against her wife. The proximity brought Kit's attention to something else that bothered her. Something she couldn't quite find a way to pin on Marie. She knew Fennith's body almost better than her own, yet her wife's breasts were definitely bigger. There was a bit more pudge to her belly as well. It might have physically been within the realm of possibility that Fennith had gorged herself enough to add that much fat in a week, but...
Fennith's voice snapped her out of her worry. "I missed you so much, love. I'm so happy you're back." From her tone, Fennith was sincere yet nervous. Her tail kept wagging, but Kit couldn't help but notice how it betrayed her mate's feelings. Instead of the wide, swooping wags showing Fennith was at ease the excited ones would usually fade into, they changed instead to short up and down nervous wags.
Though Timothy had told her to expect a trap, Kit found it incredibly difficult to believe Fennith would not warn her. Pulling the wolf away from her cuddling, she kissed her wife on the nose softly and looked into her eyes. Fennith had a terrible poker face, and was never really capable of hiding anything from her Mistress. In her mate's eyes Kit saw what she dreaded: Fear. She had seen this look in the wolf's eyes once before, on the night she had confessed her love for the tigress. Something had happened to make Fennith fear she would be rejected or even hated.
Kit nearly opened her mouth to break the silence before Lyla bounded into the foyer. "Hey, sis!" Both Kit and Fennith jumped at the intrusion, so lost to everything but one another. Kit realized she must have let more anger slip than she wanted when Lyla recoiled a bit. "Whoa, scary... Sorry for interrupting your moment."
There were questions that needed to be asked rattling in Kit's mind, but she didn't want to either potentially damage relationships and distress Fennith or confirm what she hoped was a lie. She needed proof before she could do anything. When she began wondering if Lyla had appeared when she had in order to stymie any effort to get Fennith to confess, Kit knew it needed to be soon before she went insane. "It's been a long day. I'm gonna clean up before lunch."
Fennith practically clung to her as she walked. "Is there anything I can do? You're really stressed out..."
Kit gently placed her paw on Fennith's head, rubbing between her mate's ears and managing a smile. "To be honest, I'm trying to figure out what I can do for you." Fennith's ears went back in upset for the briefest moment before she seemed to push aside what was bothering her. "But if you really want to do something...maybe something to drink?"
Fennith quickly agreed and was off towards the kitchen, leaving Kit as she headed towards their bedroom. The tigress wasn't sure what she was expecting, but "immaculately clean" clearly wasn't it. For a time she wondered why it surprised her, as Fennith always made sure she had a fresh, clean room to come home to as well as a nice bath. Then she remembered she was home two days early. Setting down her pack, she nervously sniffed the air. Most of what she could smell was benign enough, yet she couldn't quite figure out parts of it.
When she got to the bed, she began sniffing all around it. Much the same smell, with the same underlying oddity. Turning around, she sat down on the edge and put her head in her paws, trying to collect her thoughts. What was she doing? One man she barely knew had her so on edge she was ready to outright murder Marie at the moment, and yet she had only his word, some potentially faked pictures, and unusual things about Fennith she couldn't completely pin on the story. Was she really this untrusting of her mate? Or was this more of her justifying some attempt at denial?
Eventually she heard someone enter, looking up to see Fennith with a glass of milk. It was difficult to tell in the low light, but Kit swore she could see Fennith blushing as she took the offered drink. The glass was warm, and the smell all but irresistible. Sure it was a bit stereotypical for her to have a weakness for milk, but it just tasted and smelled so wonderful. Something about this glass just seemed more so. A taste turned into a gulp, and the glass was empty before she knew it. Her rough tongue ran along her muzzle and nose, getting every last drop.
She could see Fennith's tail wagging some more, uncomfortably uncertain about what her wife's expectant gaze waited for. "Thanks, hon. That was really good."
The swish of Fennith's tail became clearly audible. "R-really? I...I could get you some more if you want." When Kit nodded and handed the glass back to her, Fennith all but scurried out of the room, desperate to please like a new puppy. Kit just shook her head, setting it back in her paws. The milk had really hit the spot, making her feel warm inside. If she could just calm down a little she might be able to think straight.
"So the old man spilled the beans, huh?" Kit's head snapped back up to see Marie leaning against the door frame with a rather knowing smirk on her face. "I have to give him credit for that. Defying me is probably the only brave thing he's ever done." When Kit just stared at her, she moved into the room, swaying her hips just slightly. "But it's really not in anyone's best interest. You're a mess, and Fennith is quite the ball of nerves herself after you came home early. So much easier to do things my way."
Kit's restraint held on only so long. She was on her feet with a roar, claws bared and aimed at the bunny who was so nonchalantly admitting to what Kit until now only suspected. The enraged female was ready to kill Marie in that moment. In the next she found herself in the air, the wind nearly knocked from her lungs when she hit the floor. She swiftly got up again, turning back around and paying closer attention as she tried again. Marie seemed to anticipate her moves, ducking under one clawed paw, deflecting the other, sticking one powerful leg between Kit's own and throwing the much larger female to the ground faster than the tigress could react.
More ready this time, Kit managed to keep going and roll to her feet right next to the bed, adrenaline and anger demanding a third murder attempt. Only instead she was tackled from behind before she could even set herself. By the time she'd hit the bed, one arm was already pulled behind her back, her head held to the sheets, and a knee was pressed into the small of her back. From this position she found herself mostly helpless, weaker muscles forced to fight against stronger ones in order to move at all. She growled in frustration, impotently staring death at the bunny girl holding her down.
Marie shook her head and sighed, kissing Kit on the nose. "Like I said, so much easier to do things my way. I wanted to be gentle, but the old man forced my hand. If you must hate someone, hate him. But I still have a promise to keep." A sudden gasp from behind got Marie's attention, Kit recognizing Fennith's voice. "Oh, hey puppy. Don't worry. I told you I wouldn't hurt her. She's not exactly happy right now, but I remember what you asked me. We'll see how it goes once she calms down."
Kit was incensed. "Calm down?! You rape my wife and you expect me to CALM DOWN?!" She struggled mightily, trying to break Marie's grip. To her dismay, not only was the object of her hate apparently a martial artist, but she was also freakishly strong.
Marie's expression soured greatly. "I don't know what kind of crap he was feeding you. I am many things but I am NOT a rapist. If I was do you really think I would be sitting here attempting to chat with you instead of just fucking you? Try telling me I couldn't do just that right now." To emphasize her point, Marie let go of Kit's head and ran hir paw along her side, lightly fondling the tigress's breasts. Even with only one hand, hir strength proved too much in this position.
"Mistress..." Kit and Marie both looked towards Fennith, the she-wolf now standing on the opposite side of the bed. Her paws were visibly shaking as she blinked away tears, only able to glance towards the two of them as she tried to figure out which one she was talking to. "Please... I don't want you to fight."
Marie looked back down at Kit, nodding towards the stressed wolf. "See what his meddling is doing? The poor girl is just a mess now. And I spent so much time reassuring her it wouldn't come to this."
Kit glowered at Marie. This home wrecker had the nerve to play the victim. To pretend shi knew what shi was putting Fennith through. Growling again, Kit tried once more to twist free and failed. "I don't want to hear it from you." Finding escape still beyond her ability, Kit took a deep breath and looked back at her mate. "...Fennith? You know I can't hate you. I just want the truth. I meant it when I said I wanted to figure out what I could do for you."
Fennith's heart and mind were torn. She'd been trying and failing to think of some way to get Kit not to hate Marie, and now felt on the spot. She really wasn't big on confrontation, and she knew how protective Kit was of her. When one of her exes had tried to drug and rape her, Kit had nearly put him in traction when she caught him. When her gaze darted to Marie, the bunny just smiled and nodded. "Go ahead."
In all honestly, Fennith still wasn't sure what happened couldn't be defined as rape. By Marie's own admittance drugs of some kind had been involved. But even without them, it was unlikely Fennith could have resisted. From her perspective they got her in the mood and gave her the capability of taking what Marie had to offer...but everything else was her natural submissiveness simply being unable to withstand Marie's intense dominance.
Fennith hung her head for a moment, rubbing her belly lightly. "I...I'm sorry, Kit. Once it started I just couldn't say no. It all happened so fast. I could barely think of anything else but how good it felt." Leaning on the bed, Fennith stroked Kit's cheek cautiously, as if dreading that her mate would recoil at her touch. "When...when I finally managed to think of how badly it would hurt you, I wanted to just crawl into a hole and vanish! You've always been there for me, and I just threw it all away. I didn't even try!" Tears soaked the fur of her cheeks, her voice cracking more than once. "But...shi promised shi didn't want to break us up. That shi wanted you with me."
Fennith scooted back, sitting up and unbuttoning her shirt. The changes to her body were much more evident without the covering. Her main breasts had grown at least two cup sizes, nearly matching Kit's now. Her second had increased nearly as much. The two formerly dormant pairs had started to grow as well. What was most striking, however, was the roundness in Fennith's belly. She rubbed it lovingly a few times before leaning back down to face her mate. "Maybe it was selfish, but I had to believe it. I...I..."
Ashamed but clearly aroused by some memory, Fennith struggled to continue as Kit watched quietly. The silence from her wife was the worst part. "I...let hir get me pregnant. No...that's a lie. I helped hir get me pregnant. Everything had gone so far, so fast. When shi said shi would keep us together, I couldn't think of any other way but to go along with it. So...I'm carrying hir pups. I wanted it. I still want it..."
As Fennith trailed off, she couldn't look at her mate any longer. She couldn't bear to see the shell shocked expression she'd helped to put on Kit's face. Backing off, her tail tucked and ears flat, she just stared at the bed in silence. "What..." At last Kit broke her silence. "What did you ask hir to promise?"
Still unable to look Kit in the eye, Fennith tried to hold her voice steady. "Once my mind cleared a bit, I realized I'd made a decision for you that wasn't mine to make. I'm...addicted to hir now. Shi hasn't mated me since yesterday night, and I can hardly stand it. I need hir. But...you don't. Not yet."
Marie cleared hir throat. "I'll make it simple for you both. Kit, Fennith still loves you and wants you to let her stay, but doesn't think she deserves it. It's your call what happens but if you let her stay, you get me and Lyla as well. Whether you want to merely share Fennith with us or join in fully is for you to decide. Or you could kick us all out. All I asked in return was a chance to show you how well it could work."
Lyla suddenly bounced onto the bed, lovingly licking first Marie's then Kit's cheek. "Yeah! We were gonna tell you everything anyway, but nicely. It was supposed to be a happy occasion. You told me all about how you were thinking about kittens, but weren't sure how you could afford it. Now there can be no worries!"
Kit really couldn't believe what she was hearing. Timothy was right about Marie. Shi was so immensely full of hirself that shi thought ANY explanation could justify what shi'd done. Poor Fennith had been emotionally bowled over, her body's reaction to Marie's presence used against her to get her to believe this insanity. It was Lyla she was having the most trouble accepting. She wasn't stupid. Slightly flighty and prone to immaturity, but not stupid. She had to know this wouldn't have gone over well under any circumstances. Was she blinded by love? A much more advanced case of what Marie had done to Fennith?
Kit still felt left in the dark. One thing was clear to her, though. She had to find a way to get Fennith and hopefully Lyla out of this. To do that she needed more information. Forcing down her urge to gag on the words, she looked up at Marie with a growl. "Fine. You stay for now. Do your best, I guess. Or maybe worst. Never forget I'm doing this for Fennith and Lyla. Not for you."
Marie slowly let Kit up, the tigress shaking out her arm. The bunny smiled coyly, and Kit couldn't help but believe Marie had done hir best to force this decision in hir favor. Running hir hand through hir hair, Marie straightened hir ears out in hir typical adorable fashion as she nodded."Oh, of course. We can start now if you like."
As tempting as it was to just get the first trial over with, Kit needed to process. "I'm taking a bath." Looking back at Fennith, the wolf's shirt still unbuttoned and all signs pointing towards a desperate need for sex, Kit bit her lip for a moment. "Fennith is joining me." She pointed at Marie accusingly. "You...I don't care what you do, so long as you leave us in peace. I'll decide the rest later." Marie stepped aside with a shrug, Kit striding out of the room with Fennith in tow. Kit may have expected Marie to try and win her over through some underhanded means, but she would soon be getting a lesson in what it meant to live with the bunny herm from an unexpected source...
