The Digimon Wars Chapter 6 The Battle Begins
Michael and his collected army had arrived at Virusopolis, the huge circle city was surrounded by the Grey army.
Michael had digivolved and was now leading his army as a virus MetalGreymon.
He could see EmperorGreymon waiting for them, Michael was a little intimared by him.
Even thou he was much bigger now as MetalGreymon he still felt samll while looking at the emperor of the digital world.
He had reached EmperorGreymon who flew to the height of his eyes.
''You are the human, correct?''
He nodded.
EmperorGreymon then pointed at Katie.
''And she is your human sister?''
Michael nodded again.
''Guite an impressive army, gathered in a such short time.''
Michael wasnt expecting a compliment from a digimon who hated virus digimon.
''Thank you, we are here to join the assault.''
EmperorGreymon nodded.
''We need all the help we can get, BlackImperialdramon is in charge of the defence.''
Michael was startled by this, he didnt expect one of the three virus leaders to be here.
''How do you know?''
EmperorGreymon pointed at a huge crater a few kilometers away.
''He welcomed us personally.''
Michael swallowed, this would be his hardest battle yet.
''When do we attack?''
EmperorGreymon turned to look at the city.
''As soon as our spy gives a signal.''
''Spy?''
EmperorGreymon turned to face him.
''Yes, I have one of my WarGreymons is sabotaging their defences. As soon as he attacks the main castle we are going in.''
''If he attacks the main castle won't he be in huge danger?''
EmperorGreymon nodded.
''He knew this when he suggested it.''
Michael was a little suprised by his soldiers bravery.
''Also I have been spying on you ever since your first digivolved.''
Michael was a little suprised, how could he be spying on him without him noticing?
''How?''
Then two WarGreymon flew from behind his army, they came to the sides of EmperorGreymon.
[Figures...]
''What is your plan in joining this battle?''
''I fought that I should just merge my troops with yours.''
EmperorGreymon nodded.
''A solid plan, lets get on with it then.''
After a 30 minutes of planning where his army will be located they were ready.
All those who couldnt fly went with the GeoGreymon and BurningGreymon.
All those who could fly would defend with the RizeGreymon and MetalGreymon.
The mega level digimon would be attacking with the Grey armys commanders.
Michael and Katie were by themselfs, going around where ever help would be needed.
The battle would start any minute now...
Michael was in the air with Katie, they watched as the virus digimon put up their defences.
Their army reached thousand of digimon containing of Gigadramon, Megadramon, Devidramon, Skullsatamon and Bakemon started flying around the city.
On the ground level there were a lot of DarkTyranomons, Michael was getting scared now.
[The final number of them must be atleast 13.000! But we have a lot of troops as well...]
He was waiting for the signal, boooriing.
''Oh come on I can't stand this!''
Katie didnt like this.
''Michey, I'm scared...''
One of these moments remind him that she is still 11.
''I'm sorry, I know that you're scared but bigger things are at stake here.''
''I know, bu-''
She was interrupted by a huge explosion in the middle of the city.
That was the signal.
Michael watched as the armies started running at each other like a tidal wave.
The flying digimon started firing, Michael and Katie started raining down destruction.
There were explosion everyehere across the battlefield, digimon started to disappear?
[Is that how digimon die?]
Then he saw a huge digimon smashing two MetalGreymon with ease, that must be BlackImperaildramon.
He could see AncientGreymon to attack this huge black knight, AncientGreymon was so huge it's unbelievable.
To his suprise AncientGreymon got thrown away, BlackImperialdramon started attacking the RizeGreymon that tried to help AncientGreymon.
Michael couldnt just stand here, it didnt matter if he did it out of bravery or foolish anger he started flying towards him.
''No Michey wait!''
Katie yelled and flew after him.
As Michael was charging towards BlackImperialdramon he started firing his missiles like crazy.
All the missiles started to push BlackImperialdramon back somehow, the troops on the ground were very suprised but joined the barrage with their own attacks.
The thing that really made the explosion huge was HerculesKabuterimons Mega Electro Shocker.
Such a huge attack from such a hige digimon surely was impressive.
Michael stopped his charge, he waited for the smoke to clear.
But from the smoke BlackImperialdramon fired his Positron Laser.
''Michey!'' Katie yelled as she pushed him away, Michael didnt get hit but Katie got hurt bad.
She screamed as she fell down to the ground, Michael was shocked.
For a moment he watched the Birdramon who was his sister whimpering in pain as some GeoGreymon got to her aid.
Michael got filled in rage and started roaring, his roar even impressed BlackImperialdramon.
He started to shine, but not white.
Instead he started 'pulsing' with black and red aura, he started his digivolution.
He became even bigger than BlackImperialdramon.
Far away in a different part of the battlefield Tailmon and Lilymon were fighting some DarkTyranomon along with 7 Kabuterimon.
''What is that?'' Tailmon asked.
Lilymon saw it too, Michael had become huge and was now taking a form and color.
He was becoming a huge skeleton with a missile on its back.
His digivolution was finished, he screamed.
He had become an unnaturally huge SkullGreymon, and he was angry.
Michael first launched his orange missile.
''Dark Shot!'' He yelled with an demonic and echoing voice.
The missile hit BlackImperialdramon, making him to smash to the wall.
Every digimon began cheering for him, except AncienGreymon and HerculesKabuterimon.
They were cautios, Michael started looking at them with his glowing red eyes.
''Everyone get away!'' AncienGreymon ordered.
Michael started screaming and flying at him, AncientGreymon took his challence and flew at him.
The to huge digimon clashed, they were equal in brutal strength.
They had come to the ground making a huge dust cloud, it looked like AncientGreymon was pushing him back but then Michael yelled.
''Cursed Breath!'' With his demonic and echoing voice and started breathing out somekind of an attack, it looked lie a violet poisonous gas.
AncientGreymon couldnt take it, he couldnt breath or see he had to give up the struggle.
As Michael was going to punch him to the face when HerculesKabuterimon launched his Horn Buster Kai to his back.
The huge orange beam made him scream, after the attack he turned to look at him.
HerculesKabuterimon was absolutely horrified.
''Nothing!? Nothing at all?!''
Then Michael launched his missile while screeching some sort of an battle cry.
HerculesKabuterimon defended himself but it didnt help him much, he got slammed to the citys huge wall.
Michael was roaring and screaming, all the nearby digimon were absolutely horrified.
Some even started to run away in sheer panic, some tried to shoot at him but it didnt do anything.
''Dragonfire Crossbow!'' EmperorGreymon yelled when he unleashed this huge attack, Michael was screaming.
The explosion was so huge that AncientGreymon struggled to stay on the ground.
After the explosion AncientGreymon still couldnt see but used his attack.
''Omega Corona!''
He unleashed an super explosion which covered over 6 square kilometers.
The attack was so powerful the nearest to the explosion even thou they were out of the range of the explosion flew like ragdolls.
Then HerculesKabuterimon came out of the rubbles and unleashed his Mega Electro Shocker!
This attack made Michael scream the most, after the dust had cleared they could see the SkullGreymon still hanging on but he was lying on the ground.
''Fools!'' BlackImpirealdramon yelled and attacked them.
On the other side of the battlefield Tailmon was crying.
''W-why... Why?'' She sobbed.
Lilymon couldnt keep it in anymore either, they both started crying.
BlueMeramon was gathering some troops to form an defensive circle around them, the Darktyranomon were surrounding them.
On the ground pretty far away from the scene of destruction Katie was still lying down in pain.
''W-why are they attacking Michey?''
One of the RizeGreymon started talking to her.
''Please you've been hurt, rest.''
Katie refused, she started to stand up.
''Why, why!''
The RizeGreymon started to calm her down.
''Please you must lie dow-''
''No! Michey needs me! He needs me, my brother needs me!''
She then started glow, she was digivolving.
Michael was lying on the ground whimpering, amazenly he had withstood all those attacks. All of those attacks were amongst the strongest of the entire digital wordl.
His sight was starting to get blurry, he saw BlackImperialdramon beating AncientGreymon and HerculesKabuterimon.
Even thous they were the strongest of their kind they had hard time fighting him, even EmperorGreymon had some difficulties.
He turned over, he was trying to stand up using his arms as support.
He barely got on all fours and was now struggling to stay concius.
Michael slowly got into sitting position,
Before he could stand up some kind of a bird man digimon grabbed him, the digimon was huge and Michael had never seen one before.
The digimon flew to the far edge of the battlefield, there it let him down.
When Michael was down he could see that digimon devolving back into something small, it was Katie.
That's when Michael understood what he had done, that's when he started to look at himself.
He had become some kind of an monster gone berserk.
Michael had realised what he had done, he wanted to fix it.
He slowly stood up and leaned towards the city, his missile started glowing.
''Dark Shot Maximum Power!!''
He shot his missile that was glowing orange, the missile flew towards the citys center.
When it hit the huge city it exploded, the entire city exploded.
The explosion was like a nuclear bomb without the mushroom cloud or the radioactivity, the explosion was so huge that it even destroyes everything to the walls.
Every single digimon inside the city had died, every single digimon outside the city looked at the explosion in horror.
[I wanna do that to the Talibans]
Then he collapsed and transformed back to himself.
''Hmm. Odd, the internets down?''
A teacher came to him.
''What do you mean? It doesnt work?''
The student on the computer was also confused.
''Yeah, ever since they found that weird animal the internet's been going crazy.''
The teacher, a middle aged guy decided to take a look at it.
''Why don't you go write your book report and I see what's going on ok?''
The student stood up from the computer and walked out of the computer class.
(Odd... The internet has never been like this before... The goverment is hiding something but what? There was that attack on that powerplant but they say it was the terrorists...)
Tom was an student to an academy in California USA, he is a regular book worm.
He doesnt play video games that much and is always studying, he is wearing glasses and fully grey clothes.
His leisure pants don't have pockets so he has to keep all his stuff in his jacked/hoody.
After school he was just walking outside, he was checking the news with his iPhone when it went haywire.
''Whatta? Broken? But it's new?''
That's when he heard screams coming from the traffic, people abandoning their cars and some people getting cameras.
Tom wanted to know what wa going on, he was startled.
It was some kind of an hologram of an huge skeleton monster that had an missile on it's back.
Even thou it looked like crappy hologram it looked scary, people were taking pictures of the monster and others were amazed.
When the monster was about to walk people were amazed by how 'real' it looked lika, that was until it's foot smashed an SUV.
Tom couldnt believe it, the monster had smashed an car and was now screaming.
(How? It's an hologram...)
He could see the monster taking it's red glowing eyes at him, even thous he didnt believe it the monster was looing straight into his eyes.
Tom was paralyzed with fear he couldnt run even thou every single fiber of his body demanded him to rus, now the monster started walking at him.
The monster was running at him, it was about to punch him when it disappeared.
Tom was just standing there, did this really happen?
He took a look around and saw the destruction the monster caused, this was one of the moments some would wet themselfs.
Michael woke up in an tent of somekind, he could hear arguing.
''If we wanted to destroy the city we would have already done it! Do you have any idea how much he just destroyed!?''
''He saved us all!''
''After trying to kill us!''
Michael walked out of the tent and there were EmperorGreymon and Tailmon arguing.
EmperorGreymon was furious.
''If you werent human I would have you executed!''
Tailmon ran infront of him.
''Forget about punishment and think about his power!''
That was true, Michael had fought against four of the most powerful mega level digimon there are and survived.
Michael was still in pain, nothing was broken but it hurt everywhere.
EmperorGreymon turned in frustration.
''You just destroyed the most treasured city in all of digital world, this cannot go without punishment.
Michael was ashamed of what he had done.
''Well atleast we won right? What about BlackImperialdramon?''
EmperorGreymon turned arund to face him.
''True you destroyed his entire army alone, but he escaped.''
Michael wasnt really disappointed hearing the news, instead he smiled.
''What's so funny?''
''Think about my power when I digivolve into mega.''
This put both EmperorGreymon and Tailmon thinking.
''Yeah. If you could withstand my attack as an ultimate just imagine your power as mega.''
Michael had to sit down, his legs couldnt keep him standing.
''No matter how strong I get I will always serve the digital world the best I possibly can, where's Katie?''
EmperorGreymon was a little suprised by his devution to help digimon instead of his own kind, he pinted at an tent a few meters away.
''Your sister is in there, if you really want to help the digital world I suggest that you first stop the Dragon Wars.''
Michael was a little suprised bu this.
EmperorGreymon continued.
''I would go there myself but I'm far too busy here, besides you are in no fighting condition.''
Michael fought of it for a moment and then nodded.
''Alright, where do I go with my dragon army then.''
''Well if you do get them to fight with us march to the Marshes of Death, that's where ChaosDukemon is hiding from VictoryGreymon and his troops.
Michael nodded, he watched him walk away then Tailmon spoke.
''Why do you have to scare us like that?''
''Like how?''
In the human world Tom had been debating to himself about what he saw yesterday, all schools are closed but the internet is going crazy.
He decided to look into this monster, he tried to use the laggy internet as much as he could.
Hours had passed and he hadnt found anything, he decided to play around in Google Earth.
Google Earth now had real time video from it's satellites so it was more fun to use, he was watching the scene of destruction with Google Earth when something happened.
He zoomed out and saw 'pockets' of blackouts around the country.
(What the hell was going on?)
He could see that the blackouts spread world wide.
He was looking at Europe loosing it's electricity but something odd happened...
In Asia and Europe there were these 'pocket' blackouts but not near Russia...
It seemed that they were completely safe from this, what the hell was going on?
Then Google Earth suddenly crashed, 'Lost connetcion to the satellites' it said.
Something was going on, something big.
