Michael stood up and took the map, he walked to Tom and showed the map to him.

''We are going against Russia! The biggest threat to all of humanity! How the hell could you possibly help us?''

Tom was intimitated because Michael was much bigger than him and he was muscular, not to mention his attitude.

''I-I think that if you take me to the digital world I can become an Digimon as well.''

They all looked suprised and confused at the same time, except Michael. He chuckled and walked to the girls.

''I still have a very few theorys on how did I tranform and none on how Katie transformed.''

Michael leaned towards the table while looking at the map.

''But.... We can't rule out that it can be possible, are you ready to risk you life for the good of all that is living?''

Tom didn't need to think long, he had made up his mind when he came in.

''Yeah, I believe that if few must be sacrifised for the good of many then it's okay, also I want to do something with my life.''

Michael put the map down and walked to the window.

''I admire your determination.''

He turned to face everyone.

''Alright here's what I got, from what I've seen humans digivolution is heavily based on emotions.

I have digivolved in anger and revenge, Katie has always digivolved when she wanted to help me.''

Michael looked straight at Tom.

''I have also a reason to believe that the digimon we transform into resemble our deeper emotions and personalitys.

Katies personality is helping caring and loyal, mine is angry determited and smart.''

He walked a little around the room.

''Katie is a bird digimon, she is always open honest and has always liked sports.

I am an smart guy who is highly smarter than an average person, I have always hated humanitys faults.

But I am an virus type which doesn't make much sense, sure I'm angry but deep within I only want to make this world a better place to live.''

He stopped next to Tom.

''Tell me, what's your personality.''

Tom wasn't really startled or suprised by his question but he wasn't excpecting it either.

''Well uhh. I am an easy going guy a little shy but I always want to help, also I work hard for my grades.''

Michael walked a few meters away from him.

''Hmm... An American who's a lot like me.... Strange and unusal...''

Tom wanted to object but he knew that Michael was impossible to debate with, he could easily beat him.

Michael stopped his pacing and looked at all of them.

''Well there's only one way to find out if you can digivolve as well, you have to go to the digital world.

But first you stay here while we deal with the Russians, I don't want you screwing up my plans.''

Tom could understand him, he left the room.

Michael Looked at the girls.

''Rest well, for tomorrow we fight.''

Michael and Katie were in their mega forms, Michael was somewhat disappointed when he had to be BlackWarGreymon.

Lilymon and Tailmon were being carried by Michael, he had been flying only for half an hour when he noticed that both of them were blushing and couldn't look him to the eyes.

They had been flying for hours now, they were nearing the outskirts of Moscow.

Michaels plan was to attack the research center in the middle of the city, he knew this because of the program he got from them.

They could see and hear the people panicking when they saw them, in Moscow the panic spread quickly.

Michael was now flying down to smash the wall of the research center, he covered Lilymon and Tailmon with his claws.

He smashed throught the roof and was now going throught the floors to the bottom floor, he easily smashed throught the floors.

He had reached the floor where they kept their most precious secrets, he put Lilymon and Tailmon down.

There were a lot of scared researchers and a lot of desks and papers going around.

Michael pointed with his claw at the guy who apparently was in charge and asked in Russian.

''Where is the digital gate machine?''

''I-I don't know!'' He answered.

Michael showed Lilymon and Tailmon the signal to go around looking for it, he then walked to the leading researcher and put his claw on his throat.

''Either we find it and you die or you tell us where it is and live.''

The scientist just stood there not saying a word.

''Fine then, death it is.''

Michael put his claw up high ready for the kill, he hid the man with all his strength. He got sliced into three parts and a huge pool of blood.

All the people around him started to show where the macine is begging for their lives.

Michael whistled Tailmon and Lilymon ran to him and they went into the direction the people showed them.

They had been walking for a while and on the way they could hear explosions, Katie was having fun.

Michael and the girls had reached the door leading to the room where the machine would be.

Michael kicked the door open and looked inside the room, it was a room size of an foorball field and it had some sort of generators and this huge complex machine in the middle.

''This must be it.''

The girls nodded, Michael took a few steppes forward.

He took his arm up high and yelled.

''Terra Destroyer!''

The huge ball of energy grew stronger and stronger, finally Michael launched it.

Michael immideatly grabbed Lilymon and Tailmon and flew away as fast as he could, the explosion was enormous.

Outside Katie was firing down fear with her screaming, she destroyed buildings and did everything she could to buy time.

She started to hear explosions from underground, she was excpecting her brother to come out any second.

There he was, Michael flew away from the research center just before it blew up.

''Alright let's go!''

Michael nodded and started to flt away from Moscow with Katie, they flew as fast as they could.

Katie Tailmon and Lilymon were cheering for their victory, but Michael wasn't.

Michael knew that this was only the beginning, the Russians would come back with vengeange.

''I should have never told mom about that...'' Tom said, he had been taken to an facility in the US.

After he told his mom what Michael told him about digivolution she had ordered that every single child who has been interacting with digimon in anyway would be taken to an facility that will then research and test if they will digivolve.

They had taken 13 kids including him and his sister, Tom still couldn't believe that she would have done this to her own kids.

Tom had no idea where he was, all he knew was that he was inside somewhere.

Tom was being taken to a interrogation room, he was being 'escorted' by four armed guards.

After he had been taken to the room with a chair and no windows the soldiers left him alone, when he sat a man spoke from the speakers.

''Tom is it?''

''Yes.''

''Ah good, now tell me what do you think Digimon are?''

''All I know is that they are living beings just like us.''

''Oh really? Then tell me what's your personal opinion on Digimon.''

Tom was confused.

''What? What's that suppose to mean? They are living-''

''We know that!'' The man from the speakers interrupted him.

''What we want to know is what do you think about them, are they a threat to all of humanity?''

Tom couldn't believe what he was asking, they are living being just like humans!

''What the hell is that suppose to mean? They have good guys and bad guys just like we do!''

''Hmm, interesting.'' The man waas thinking out loud from the speakers.

''Tell me, why do you think so?''

Tom was absolutely furios, he stood up and yelled.

''How can you even ask that? In the second world war millions of people died because of one man and millions more died in the war that tried to take him down!

They are just like us! They have their own conflics and they have their own opinions and feelings! How can you even think about killing them! Napoleon was right, all of humanity is doomed because of people like you!''

It was quiet for a while, then the man from the speakers spoke.

''Guards, take him back.''

The door opened and the same armed guards came and 'escorted' him out, they took him into an huge room with hundreds of children.

Tom was not pleased by how they treated these kids, they treated them like lab rats.

Every now and then the guards came and took a child into the interrogation room and came backto take others, Tom couldn't believe that they would go so far as torturing children.

Tom walked around to find his sister, he walked through the kids looking all over for Julie.

As Tom was looking around he noticed that he was propably the oldest of all of them, he remembered Napoleon and Katie for some reason.

(Katie is so young and Napoleon is an adult, almost. They are still both very smart, brave, mature and determined for their age.)

''Tommy!'' Julie yelled, she ran to Tom through the crowd of kids.

''Julie!'' Tom yelled and ran to her, they both hugged eachother like it was the last time they could do it.

''Tommy, I'm scared.''

''I know Julie, I know.'' Tom didn't know how to calm her down except to share her emotions, it wasn't like she had expirienced anything like this before.

They stopped their hugging and started to walk to the outline of the crowd, they had to have some privacy.

After they had gotten out of the crowd they sat down on to the floor and sighed, Julie had cried for hours when they first got here so she was exhausted.

They had been sitting there for a while when Tom heard some girl screaming.

''No! Let me go! I wanna go home!''

''Shut up and come on, we don't have all day!'' The soldier said who was trying to get her to come to the interrogation room.

Tom tried to cover his ears and close his eyes but the screaming and the crying the girl did was too loud.

''I had enough of you stupid brat!'' He could hear the soldier yell then he heard somekind of an odd sound, the girl stopped screaming.

Tom opened his eyes and saw the girld lying on the floor, the soldier had punched her with his gun.

This was too much, he stood up and started running at the soldier.

Before the soldier could even realize Tom had tackled him to the ground and was now punching him and trying to break his skull.

All of the kids near by started cheering for him, even thou they didn't know who he was they knew that he had the guts to be an hero.

As the soliders tried to grab Tom off of the soldier the near by kids charged at them, soom it was an all out fist fight between the hundreds of kids and the dozens of soldiers.

The fight was on only for a few minutes until some soldiers started shooting in the air making the kids panic, Tom was the only one left fighting.

Soon he was taken off of the soldier and pushed aginst the wall. As Tom struggled he saw the soldier in the ground wimping in pain holding his bloodied face, he propably had an broken nose and jaw.

Tom couldn't believe that he had done that, he was just about to object to how they trated the kids when he got knocked out.

Tom was starting to get his conciusness back, he slowly opened his eyes and stood up holding his head.

He could a TV news flash going on somewhere.

''Couple of days ago these monster or 'Digimon' as they call themself betrayd us, they promised to protect us from the 'evil ones' attacks but after they had

killed the monsters in Paris they kidnapped a human child and then they attacked Moscow. They blew up a research facility in Moscow creating a chain reaction where almost all of Moscow got blow up, it was very close that the explosions didn't reach the nuclear powerplant in Moscow.''

Tom looked around the room, it looked like an nurses room from school.

There were a few beds no windows some desks and one doctor, he was watchin a small TV.

''Where am I and how long have I been out?''

The doctor was suprised to hear his voice, he turned around to look at Tom.

''You are in an medical bay reserved for the kids held here and you've been out for a few days.''

Tom was suprised to hear this, and even more suprise to see that the doctor seemed to be a nice guy.

The doctor stood up and walked to him, he checked his temeratur and whatnot.

''I still can't believe that a grown man would hit a child with a back of a gun, you were lucky not to suffer any permament damage.''

After the doctor had done his thing he walked back to his desk and sat down on his chair.

Tom noticed a lot of clipped out headlines of Digimon on the wall.

''Are you doing research on Digimon or something?''

The doctor turned in his chair to look at him.

''I normally work as an scientist in an univericity near here and yes I am doing my own little research about them.

They are fascinating, they really are like us.''

Tom was about to stand up when the doctor stopped him.

''Woah hold on, it's better if you lie down for a while.''

Tom wanted to say something back but he lied down.

''Wheres my sister?''

''You mean that Julie girl? After the little outbreak they made all kids chained to the floor, she is with them I think.''

''Figures...''

The doctor turned to the TV.

''It's weird, after the attack on Moscow they have been laying low profile.''

Tom was suprised to hear this, Napoleon didn't seem like a guy who would keep a low profile.

He looked at the TV as well.

''As of now there have been no sighitngs of the monsters after the attack, but satellites show the monsters attacking some areas around Russia but they move at a high speed and are impossible to track.''

Tom was wondering to himself.

(What was his plan anyway? He would attack Russia and then what? That guy sure likes to keep secrets.)

After an hour the doctor looked that he was fine and unwillingly sent him to the other kids, as he walked into the room while being held by two soldiers he was horrified.

All the kids were chained down to the ground by their necks, they had veru little room to move.

Tom couldn't believe this, he got angry like never before.

''What the hell do you think you're doing!? Their kids for gods sake! Let them go!''

The kids looked at him, they all wanted to yell the same.

As the soldiers started to take Tom to the kids he started struggling.

''No! Let me go! Let them go! You... You.... You monsters!''

With that yell he started to glow, the soldiers were absolutely terrified they had no clue as what was happening to him.

He started to grow larger and larger, he got an form of an wolf.

He had digivolved into an white wolf that had blue stripes, he howled.

He started to smash the soldiers to pieces, he then freed the kids.

He got to each of them and broke their chains, the kids cheered.

After a while all the kids were freed and were cheering for Tom, but more soldiers came in.

Propably 4000 soldiers had surrounded them, Tom couldn't move unless he wanted to hurt the kids.

They all stopped their movements when they heard an distant explosion, then they heard another explosion.

They were waiting for the third one but it didn't come, as the soldiers were whispering and asking eaxh other what it was the roof started falling in.

Something punched through the roof, leaving a huge hole falling rocks and sunshine.

As Tom looked at what had broken the roof he started howling, he saw Katie in her Garudamon form.

The soldiers opened fire against Katie but it gignt do anything and they stopped shooting when the entrance door got smashed in.

A BlackWarGreymon had broken dow the door and yelled.

''Come with me if you want to live!''

The kids started running to the entrance while Tom started to take care of the soldiers with his blue fire attack.

When the last child had gone out from the entracne Tom ran to the door after the BlackWarGreymon.

Outside he was amazed seeing Katie had already made a quick work of the soldiers outside.

Napoleon had an walkie talkie on his hand and he spoke to it.

''Tailmon, now!''

''Roger!'' She answered.

Before Tom could even ask a digital gate opened infront of them, the kids were startled.

Napoleon flew infront of the gate and turned to face the kids.

''Come on! We don't have much time!''

The kids didn't want to go into the gate, Tom ran inside the gate.

After 30 seconds or so the kids started running into the gate.

After the last one had entered Michael whisled, he signaled Katie that it was time to go.

Tom was in a huge falling tunnel of data, he didn't even realize what was up and what was down.

After a while he saw the end of the tunnel, he got dropped out of the tunnel but outside it was still as if he had jumped.

He wasn't feeling too good, it like going on a rollercoaster a dozen time a row.

Tom quickly forgot this feeling when he saw where he was, it was a forest full of plants he didn't recognize.

Hw took a few steppes, he was blown away by the beuty of this place.

(I-Is this the.... Digital World?)

Not too long later the kids started coming out of the portal, even thou the gate was huge in the human world it was quite small here for some reason.

After a while almost all the kids where there, then Julie came out of the portal.

''Julie!'' But before he could even take a step he got transformed back to normal and passed out, some kids including Katie ran to him.

Michael in his BlackWarGreymon form was going through the gate with Katie in her human form in his arms passed out.

[Poor little thing, used too much energy.]

After he came out of the gate it closed, he also was somewhat suprised that the Garurumon was gone.

He flew infront of the kids to find out that the Garurumon was Tom after all, landed near him and was about to grab him when Julie yelled to him.

''Don't you dare to hurt him! He saved us!''

Michael was a little suprised to hear this from a little girl.

''Look I'm not going to hurt him, I'm only gloing to carry him.''

''Promise?''

''I swear it on my life on it.''

He then grabbed him on his left arm, he put them both on his one arm.

He put Tom in the bottom and Katie on top of him, he started talking to his walkie talkie in his right arm and turned around and started to walk to that direction.

''Hey Tailmon, I got him. Yeah looks like it, I'm coming to the HQ with the kids.''

He then turned it off and turned to face the kids.

''You coming or not?''

The kids were too scared to follow him, Michael had prepared for this.

He walked towards a bush near him, the took out an caravan like vehicle and put Katie and Tom next to eachother on the back.

He then turned back to his human form and grabbed the other handler of the caravan.

''Well? I can't push this thing by myself.''

After a while some kids came to him and helped him too pull it, the youngest including Julie were put on the caravan and the rest of the kids followed it.

After a while they had gotten out of the forest and were now walking on a huge plain area towards a hill that had a camp of somekind in the distance.

The kids were too afraid to talk to him, Michael lookem really intimitating to them he was big even in his human form and Tom was the second biggest kid here.

Not to mentione that he was a digimon a while back.

They reached the wooden gates, the palisade walled gate opened slowly.

They stepped in still pulling the caravan, when they entered they were greeted by lots of small digimon that cheered for them and Napoleon.

The kids were amazed by the buildings that the digimon had built, there were small farms, houses, tents and a big three story building in the middle of the camp.

The digimon started to take the places of the kids pulling the caravan, but Michael refused to stop pulling..

When they had reached the middle building that looked a bit like the Eiffel Tower except it was an actual building Michael and the digimon stopped pulling the caravan.

The younger kids who were being pulled jumped out of the caravan and Lilymon came and took Tom inside the building, Julie insisted going there as well and Michael agreed.

Michael took the unconsious Katie out of the caravan and gave her to Lilymon who had come back for her.

He then jumped on the caravan and started to have a speach.

''People! Welcome to the village of Freiheit! This is a soon to be city that I have made, this is the safe haven for all humans and all Digimon!

I am Napoleon, why did I name myself after him? Because he was a hero! Listen! You all know how rotten the human world is right!

Your own goverment commited experiments on you and they were going to get away with it!

If you would have stayed there you would have died, and if you would now go back there they would capture you again!

So I ask of you, do you want to live in safety and in a place where you don't have to pay for anything?''

The kids cheered like crazy, some louder than others and some just clapped.

Michael showed an expression to quiet down.

''I will be staying in this building behind me!

I want all of you to do something here, you don't have to but it would help the village!

I know that there are people here that have played lots of video games, if there is a person here who has played any Total War game or any other RTS game please come to this building with me!

Anyone who can knit please go to that building that's painted pink!

Any people who are good at Spanish please come to this building as well!

If there are any people who are good at building stuff please go to that bulding that has two trees next to it!

Everyone else, you are free to do anything you please! Long as you don't cause trouble thou!''

He then went in the buiilding with some kids following him.

Michael walked into a big room with tables, chairs, cabinets, blank papers, maps of the human world and the digital world, pencils and pens, typewriters and some laptops.

Michael sat down infront of an table that could have 12 people on it.

He then looked at the kids, there were only three of them.

The rest were propably too confused and too scared.

''So how many of you are the generals and who are the translators?''

The one in the middle, a girl who was probably 11 and was wearing a grey tank top and blue jeans.

She put her hand up so fast her long brown hair went up in the air a little.

''I-I'm actully Mexican.''

Michael smiled, he wasn't excpecting that things would go this well.

''Alright then amigo, and the two of you are the RTS gamers I presume?''

The two 14 year old guys got startled a little.

The one who had short dark hair, blue jeans and a greenleisure shirt spoke.

''I-I play mostly Civilazation games and I have played Age Of Empires.''

Michael looked at the other one waiting for an answer.

The guy had yellow leisure pants and a yellow hoody, he also had brown hair.

''Y-yeah I play Total War games and Command and Conguer.''

Michael nodded.

''You propably are wondering why I asked you here, you see I don't only need help managing the village but I also need help on battlefield.''

The kids looked a little scared when he mentoned the battlefield.

Michael continued..

''You see I need someone to maintaine the settlement while I'm on the battlefield and I need someone to help me command an army when I get one big enough. And If I teach Spanish to the leaders of my troops it'll work as an secret language.''

The three nodded with confused faces.

Then Tailmon came into the room from another room, she was wearing a headsey with an mic.

''Oh you're back already!''

Michael turned to her.

''Ah good you're here, kids this is Tailmon. She will get you to known to this town.''

The kids looked a little confused, in their eyes Taimon looked like an ierd cat with gloves and a headset.

Tailmon started walking outside.

''If you would follow me I will tell you all you need to know about this village.''

After they left Michael started laughing out right, he still couldn't believe that he had got Tailmon to actully wear that.

During his lauhgter Lilymon had snuck behind him and when she touched his shoulder he fell off the chair, now it was Lilymons turn to laught.

Michael stood up getting the dirt off of his clothes.

''Alright let's get serious, how are they?''

Lilymon stopped laughing and sighed.

''Their fine, how did you know that he was going to digivolve?''

Michael took the chair and put it properly under the table.

''The truth is that I didn't, it was only a hunch.''

Michael started to walk towards the stairs with Lilymon close behind him.
