Halloween With A Friend
"I'm gonna get you!" the fox threatened with a grin as he continued his chase on the lion. The fox held back some on his speed, as going at full speed didn't seem fair when the lion's diaper gave his charge a bit of a disadvantage, forcing him to walk with a slight waddle. Plus, it just didn't seem sporting to beat a baby, even if the baby in question was slightly bigger in overall body mass than yourself.
"No, Captain Hammer, don't!" The lion giggled as he sought refuge behind a sofa, dressed only in a diaper and a shirt.
"Ah ha! Got you! Now I'm going to... umh... "
"Show me your hammer?" the lion suggested.
The fox chuckled. "I guess that's about the worst threat I can muster in this costume. Well, that or abusing any of the powers invested in me as your babysitter. Like giving you time outs, putting you to bed early, giving you Castor Oil..."
The lion frowned. "Then I'd tell my boyfriend on you."
The fox grinned back. "Then I'd tell him you were a very bad boy and didn't want to finish your vegetables."
The lion, admitting defeat, flattened his ears and looked down. "I dun wike bwoc-oh-lee," he meekly responded, momentarily slipping into a baby's lisp.
The fox chuckled and helped the lion out from his hidey-hole behind the sofa. Then the fox put a paw on the front of the lion's diaper, slipping two fingers into one of the leg openings, before finishing his inspection by pulling back the back of his diaper and peering down under the lion's tail. The lion simply stood there, not objecting to the sudden invasion of his privacy. While it was embarrassing to have his diaper checked with no forewarning at all, and having his intimate space invaded, it did help him feel like the little baby he longed to be. And the attention and affection involved in it wasn't bad, either.
"I think this little lion is due for a change," his friend declared. "You're pretty wet."
He looked down at his diaper. It was starting to get pretty droopy. He gave a nod of agreement, slipping his thumb into his muzzle, and obediently followed along to an open floor space, laying down on the portable changing pad on the floor. The changing pad had colourful nursery room patterns, appropriate for a baby of any age, and did its job of keeping any accidents from reaching the floor.
The fox swiftly got to work, untaping the soggy diaper and rolling it up, putting it to the side before starting to wipe the lion down while planning the night ahead. "So, what do you want to do this evening? The night is still young, and we probably won't be bothered by too many trick-or-treating kids. And you know, we could going out and try to trick or treat ourselves... ?" the fox suggested, looking at the lion for his reaction.
The lion in turn gave a slight wince, possibly due to a cool wipe thoroughly cleaning his damp private area, removing his thumb to respond. "Yeah, but... In theory that could be really fun. But in practice, other people might not like that. It's supposed to be for kids, and adults can usually afford to get their own candy anyway."
"How about we just walk around and look at the costumes then?" the fox suggested instead. "It's the one time of year where walking around looking like a big baby won't raise any eyebrows, after all."
"I guess that could be nice." The lion lifted up his butt to give the fox access.
"Then how about we settle down with a film afterwards?" the fox went on, wiping the lion's damp butt.
"Splatter Tower XVI: The Gore-ening?" the lion offered.
"Maybe..." The fox slipped a fresh diaper under the lion, having him lower his lion butt onto it before starting on the powder, sprinkling it on then rubbing it into the lion's fur. He rolled the lion forwards slightly by pushing his legs back, repeating the sprinkling and rubbing on the butt area, before letting him rest back down on the fresh diaper again. "Or maybe a Care Bears film."
"Yeah, or that. Either's good."
The fox taped up the diaper snuggly, taking a second to get out the diaper's leg bands and making sure it was on right. Satisfied, he helped the lion up and into a hug. "There we are. All dry. At least for now." The fox patted the lion's diapered butt playfully, the fresh diaper rustling loudly. The lion giggled and wiggled his butt slightly in turn. "And we'll get you dressed, right after we've gotten some nummy nums into your tummy tum."
The lion soon found himself in the sofa sitting on the fox's lap, being fed two bottles of warm formula. Now and then the fox would wipe around the lion's muzzle as some formula drops started dribbling down. Once both bottles were empty the lion was seated up to have his back patted and rubbed, and his babysitter was rewarded with a large lion-sized burp, leaving the lion in question rather red cheeked. Some light teasing, praising and nuzzling followed, before the fox lead the lion by his paw to get him dressed.
The lion's diaper was soon covered up by a onesie and a pair of overalls. A pacifier was slipped into his muzzle, with a pacifier strap securing it to one of the overall's straps, and a big lion plush was slipped under his arm.
"Are you sure this is okay?" the lion mumbled from behind his pacifier, looking at his friend with some uncertainty.
His friend nodded and smiled. "Sure. It's Halloween, isn't it? Besides, you've got Captain Hammer to protect you." With that, he lead the hesitant lion outside.
As expected, the streets were full of trick-or-treating children, as well as adult chaperones, and adults going to or from parties. Most were dressed in costumes.
As predicted, no eyebrows were raised by his attire. Some passer bys might've briefly wondered why they'd gone the extra mile and bothered with the baby powder, picking up on the sweet scent, but would remain oblivious to the fact that the authenticity didn't stop there.
It didn't take too long before the lion felt the bottles catching up with him. It took a few minutes of interchanging concentration and relaxation, not being a sufficiently frequent diaper wearer for it to quite come naturally to him (especially while walking in public), but eventually he started peeing. He sucked on his pacifier and gave his plushie a squeeze, feeling his diaper grow warmer as he walked next to his friend.
They walked for a while, until the fox paused as they walked by a house. "Oh, hey... This is Mark and Linda's place. They were supposed to have a Halloween party tonight. Maybe we should pay them a quick visit?"
"Well..." the lion was hesitant, not feeling entirely comfortable with the idea of exposing himself to anyone either of them knew in his current get-up. However, he could see the fox was apparently eager, and he knew he had opted to 'babysit' this evening rather than attending this or any other parties. Not wanting to disappoint, he put on a smile and nodded. "Sure. Maybe we'll get some candy."
They went to the door, the fox making sure the lion had his pacifier in his muzzle and was looking sufficiently cute before ringing the doorbell.
The door swung open, and they were greeted by a husky in a vampire costume. The husky in turn was greeted by a fox dressed up as Captain Hammer and a lion dressed up as a baby.
"Trick or treat," they declared.
"Aren't you a little too old for this?" the vampire husky asked.
"I'm just chaperoning this guy," the fox responded with a smirk, "and if anything he's too young. He's not even potty trained yet." He patted the lion's behind for emphasis.
The vampire chuckled. "I can only imagine the size of his messy diapers."
The lion simply blushed, sucking on the pacifier.
"So, do you want to come in for a bit?" the vampire husky went in. "Guessing you're here for the party..."
And the vampire husky invited them in, the slight irony of being invited in by a vampire not escaping the big horror-film enthusiast lion as they stepped in. There were a dozen or two worth of costumed people occupying the living room and open kitchen area, and there were free snacks and drinks. There was light music playing in the background, and the odd carved pumpkin, fake cobweb and fake severed limb about.
The fox found his friends, and the lion tagged along, not feeling too comfortable at parties. But at least there were free refreshments, which the lion happily helped himself to. The lion eventually found himself introduced to other people, who again introduced him to other people, and he made the rounds with polite small-talk. He felt a bit uneasy at first, especially when he and his babysitter ended up mingling in separate corners of the room, but he eventually started to loosen up - perhaps due to all the fizzy soft drinks.
No one seemed to react too much to his attire, other than a few odd comments and questions. One of the more embarrassing ones was when a vixen dressed as Zelda asked him, "So, do you actually use your diapers?"
The lion didn't like to lie if he could avoid it. So he tried with a flirtatious "If you became my mommy, you could find out," adding a playful, feline "Mrrawr". He blushed immediately afterwards, and partially hid it by taking a big gulp of his cup of fizzy.
But the vixen chuckled lightly, and replied, "And I'm guessing you're a breast man?"
"Actually, I prefer co -- oh, right! Yes, but I normally just have formula." The lion blushed more and took another gulp, but the vixen seemed sufficiently amused by their awkward half-flirting.
The lion's soft drink consumption eventually started taking its toll. It was about as difficult as the first time, but with a combination of straining and relaxation, he managed to start wetting again. He hoped he wasn't blushing too much as he did so, hoping no one would notice his distractedness. It was definitely liberating, being able to wet his diaper while at a party and talking to people, with no one knowing. Eventually he excused himself to go to the bathroom, checking on the condition of his diaper. As he expected, he was probably due for a change, and he'd probably need to pee more soon. He considered disposing of it then and there and use the toilet, but knew his babysitter wouldn't approve. Plus, there might be some awkward questions if the party hosts noticed the used diaper in their bathroom's trash.
So he went to find his babysitter, who was talking to a small assortment of people. He moved in and gently nudged him, leaning in. "Umh, maybe we should get going soon?"
The fox raised an eyebrow, looking at the lion, and discretely mouthed, "Need a change?"
The lion nodded.
The fox turned back to his friends. "Well, I should get going. I think this little lion might need a change." There were some light chuckles, the lion blushing but trying to smile, and in a few minutes they were out the door and on their way home.
"That was embarrassing," the lion complained, blushing still.
"It was?" the fox responded with an amused smile. "But wasn't it kind of fun, getting to sort of pretend to be a baby around others? And seems you even peed your diapers."
"Not like I had much of a choice," the lion grumbled. "I'm not supposed to take them off when you're babysitting me, remember?" Though after a few seconds of silence he added with a slight smile, "But it was kinda fun, too."
"I bet you'd like to be a baby next Halloween too, huh?" The fox smiled and popped the lion's pacifier back into his muzzle.
The lion smiled back, pacifier lightly bobbing back and forth. He gave his plushie a squeeze, and, as they appeared to be alone, on the street, slipped his free paw into the strong grasp of his babysitter, Captain Hammer. He felt happy and relaxed, and imagined himself as a real little lion walking paw in paw with his babysitter. They were heading home from a party because he needed a change, and his babysitter had forgot to bring a change along. Ah well, it was close to his bedtime anyway. After a change, he'd get put in his playpen to play before he was given his final meal for the evening: mushy baby food and sweet, thick formula. After that --
"BOO!"
The lion's daydreaming came to a sudden halt as a small group of costumed children jumped out in front of them. They just as quickly dispersed, giggling as they ran off, happy to have startled some random innocent adults.
"Well, that was... something," the fox commented with a chuckle, before going off on a slight tangent. "I guess I should be glad you've grown out of being a kid. They can be pretty obnoxious. With adult babies, you really get the best of both worlds. You get someone to baby and snuggle with, but you can still reason with him, and he can help you do your taxes... sweetie?"
The lion looked down, as did the fox. The lion was standing in a small, growing puddle. The source was clear, as the lion's overalls were clearly wet at the crotch area, and down the legs. Seemed someone had sprung a leak.
"I... guess we'd better try a different brand next time, huh?" the fox commented once the lion seemed to have finished.
The lion whimpered and sucked on his pacifier. "It's not funny..."
The fox gave an embarrassed smirk himself. "Sorry, li'l guy. I guess we'd better get you home. Don't worry, it isn't too far now."
They kept on walking, but the lion pressed close to his friend, feeling vulnerable and wanting to be shielded from any prying eyes. They walked by a few other groups of people, but either no one noticed or they didn't see fit to comment. His diaper and clothes were starting to feel cool, clammy and icky, but eventually they were home safe.
"Hey, we made it," the fox announced happily, giving his charge a hug, but trying to stay away from the wet spots as he did so. "Good boy. You didn't even cry or anything. I think we'd better get you into a nice, warm bath..."
The lion perked up. He liked baths!
Soon the lion was out of his wet diapers and clothes, and into a comfortably warm bubble bath with a few select bath toys. He splashed and played for a little while, before the fox went to work with getting him properly cleaned, shampooing his mane and even lathering up his private area, having him standing up, turning and closing his eyes on his command. As always, it was awkward and embarrassing, but also fun and relaxing. It was nice having someone do most of the work, and with no small amount of affection thrown in - and the odd embarrassing remark or joke. But the lion didn't mind much. It was nice that his friend felt comfortable enough that he not only indulged and babied him, but could joke around with him about it too.
When bath time was over, the fox dried off the lion with a big towel and a fur-drier, before getting him into a fresh new diaper and a comfortable sleeper. Then it was time for a film. After a small debate, the lion yielded, and they settled on Disney's Robin Hood. The lion didn't mind too much; he loved the film, even if he'd seen it a bajillion times before, and it was fun that his babysitter insisted he only be exposed to age appropriate media. The lion was fed two more bottles of formula while they were watching, and once done and burped he murred happily as he snuggled up to his babysitter, thumb in his muzzle, feeling full and happy.
He eventually felt the need to pass gas, and figuring that his babysitter wouldn't mind - or might not even notice - gave a push. He was only slightly surprised when this action resulted in a muffled squelch and a warm, expanding mess pressing up against his soft, tan fur. All the baby food and formula he'd had recently had resulted in a very soft movement.
The lion looked at his babysitter. His babysitter just smiled back and kissed his cheek. "I'll change you after the film, sweetie."
The lion smiled, and snuggled closer. He hoped he could get to be a baby for next Halloween, too. Though he should probably wear a thicker diaper then.
