Warning: here there be strong language, violence and some jacking off. Have fun reading!
Kevin shuffled in the bus seat as he neared his mothers house. The seat was hard under his tail but he wasn't worrying about that. He was worrying about the fact that he hadn't seen his mother in 10 years and was having trouble figuring out what to say to her. He cranked up his headphones and stared out the window into the rain. The young Deer's mind drifted to the fateful moment of when his father told him he was sending him to live with his mother...
"I don't care if you don't like it! You are going to live with your mother for awhile and that's final, Kevin Adams!" His father shouted.
"But you won't tell me what I've done! How the hell is that fair, dad!?" Kevin shouted back. "And what about my life here? My friends? My schoolwork? I was supposed to graduate this year and I'll have to start over if I move!" Kevin pleaded.
"You have gotten into so many fights here and at school. You won't tell me why. Then there's this business of you being...queer. As for your schoolwork, the records have already been transferred to your new school in Nightingale falls. You are to leave at the end of this week. Your mother will be waiting." His father said.
"But I haven't seen her in over ten years! I don't even hardly remember her. How am I supposed to live with a woman I don't know!? And Nightingale Falls is clear up past the Canadian border!" Kevin pleaded again.
"YOU'LL MAKE DO!" His father bellowed.
"I HATE YOU, YOU BASTARD!" Kevin shouted.
Kevin brushed his shoulder length blonde hair away from his face and saw a sign that said, "welcome to Nightingale Falls". There was a picture of a fur with a shield on it. The ride through town was a bit eventful. There was a music store, of which he made a note to check it out later. Then their was the waterfall which the bus passed over. He saw what he thought was a young lion biting down on the neck of someone in an alley, but he wrote it off as being tired and seeing things. The school was big, bigger than his school back home. It said, "Verbatim High School, Home of the Vampires". Clever name, He thought to himself. The bus finally rounded the corner to the bus station, and slid to a halt. Kevin was the first one off, hitting his antlers as he stepped off.
"Damn it!" He swore.
The bus station was busy with furs. Some leaving, some arriving. Kevin grabbed his bags and sat down on a bench, careful not to hit his antlers again. He Looked around for someone that might even resemble a deer that might be looking for him, but no one was even holding a sign. He didn't let it bother him and put on "Ordinary" by Train on his iPod and just sat there watching.
A couple of hours went by and he just sat there waiting. Most of the people were gone and the ticket master had fallen asleep at his booth. He laughed and saw something move out of the corner of his eye. When he turned his head, whatever it was had moved out of his sight. Kevin wrote it off as just seeing things again. A car pulled up across from the platform and a beautiful tiger with long silver hair stepped out and waved at him. She shouted and ran over to him.
"Kevin! SON! Its me!" She shouted.
Kevin cocked his head to one side in confusion and looked around to find she was shouting at no one but him. She ran up to him and hugged him hard.
"Oh My boy!" She cried with tears.
"Um...mom?" Kevin inquired.
"YES! Yes you remember me!" She shouted.
"But...you're not a deer." Kevin said.
"Well of course not! Where else do you think you got your stripes from?" She said.
Kevin looked at the stripes up and down his arms. He smiled and looked back up at her.
"Oh it is so great to see you after all these years." The Tigress said then hugged him again.
"It's...good to see you too mom." Kevin said and hugged her back.
She helped him grab his things and put them in the trunk then they took off in her car. Things were silent for a short while. Then His mother finally broke the silence.
"So...your father tells me that your...gay. Is that true?" She asked.
"Yes. It's one of the reasons he sent me here." Kevin said.
"What?! That can't be." She said.
"It can be since he told it to my face." He replied with a yawn.
"Damn. He was never that way when I was with him." She said.
"Then maybe you shouldn't have left him. Would've made things a hell of a lot easier for me." Kevin said almost with a growl.
"I know your angry with me. And you have a right to be." She said.
"You're damn right I have a right to be pissed!" Kevin said loudly.
"Go ahead. Get it out of your system." His mother said.
"You...you don't know what I had to go through as a kid. I was made fun of for not having a mother! I felt like it was my fault you left! Hell, maybe it was! Dad sure as shit made me feel like it!" Kevin said with anger.
"I left your father not because of you, but because of the way he treated me after you were born. He changed somehow and he was never the same. I tried to get custody of you, but the court saw me as an unfit parent because I had nowhere to go. I fought for ten years to get where I am now and now I can give you a good life. It's yours if you want it. In any case, we're here." She finished.
They stopped in front of a large house, very beautiful and adorned with statues. A fox came up and shook his mother's hand.
"Ah! Hello Holly! So this is your son. Good to meet you boy!" The fox said, shaking Kevin's hand.
"Hello." Kevin said.
"Well Holly, all the works done for today. I'm gonna head for home." The fox said.
"Here's your pay Jasper. Thanks for making things look nice." Holly said.
"Your welcome. Glad you like it." Jasper said. "Bye Now!"
He walked over to his truck and drove away. Kevin Marveled at the grounds and the house.
"How can you afford all this?" Kevin asked.
"I've written a few books in the past couple of years. They've made me quite a bit of money. I enjoy writing, and it's the only thing that's kept me occupied. My next book signing is here in town." Holly said. "I thought maybe tomorrow we'd go into town and buy some stuff for your room. Stuff that YOU want."
"I'd...I'd Like that. Thanks for letting me stay here mom." Kevin said, smiling.
"No Matter what, you are still my son. I love you." Holly said.
"I Love you too mom." Kevin said.
"Come on. Let me show you around." Holly said.
After a short tour of the house, Kevin was shown his room. The mother and son said goodnight. Kevin unpacked his laptop and set it over on a very ornamental desk. Next he unpacked his clothes and set them in the drawers next to the mirror. The room was a vague eggshell color.
"This place is gonna need some decorations. Well I think I can fix that tomorrow." Kevin said to himself.
Just then, he heard a noise outside his window. He rushed over to it and opened it and peered all around into the darkness. Nothing. He swore under his breath and closed the window. He plopped onto the bed and undid his pants and slid them off and dropped them to the floor. He then crawled under the covers and drifted off to sleep after turning the lights off.
But unbeknownst to him, a figure was sitting outside his window in the cover of darkness, watching him sleep.
The next morning, Kevin awoke to the smell of breakfast. He pulled a pair of pants on and sleepily walked downstairs. Holly, his mother, was standing there frying eggs.
"Smells good Mom." Kevin said.
"Gah! Kevin. You scared the hell out of me!" Holly said.
"Heh sorry. By the way, when do I start school?" Kevin asked, sitting at the table.
"Today, sweetheart. When your ready, I'll take you there and you can start your classes. Here's your breakfast." Holly said.
"How's their music class?" Kevin asked.
"I'm afraid they don't have one anymore. They cut music from the study course last year." Holly said sitting next to him.
"Damn it. I was hoping to get into music." Kevin said, his eyes falling to his breakfast.
"You really like music, don't you?" Holly asked.
"Yes. I've always loved music. I played guitar for a couple of years, but dad took it away when I got into a fight when I was eight. I never got it back. He said he pawned it off for cash when I asked about it." Kevin said. "Wow! This is really good!"
"Thanks. I pride myself on my cooking, besides my writing." Holly said. "Now hurry and get dressed when your done. We have to get you to school."
Kevin finished his breakfast and rushed upstairs and threw on his best button up long sleeve shirt. His best pair of pants were a pair of black slacks. He threw those on as well. He looked in the mirror and noticed something out of place.
"Shit! My hair's a mess!" He laughed.
He combed his shoulder length hair back behind his ears. He combed his tail as well, just to make a good first impression. He grabbed his laptop, put it in its carry bag and rushed downstairs.
"Wow! You sure do clean up nice!" Holly said.
"Thanks ma." Kevin said, blushing a bit.
The pair left the house and got in Holly's car and drove off for town.
"You nervous?" Holly asked.
"A little. I've never had to change schools before now." Kevin muttered.
"I'm sure you'll like it. By the way, They have a dress code." Holly said.
"Aw crap. Really?" Kevin said.
"Yes, But don't worry, the uniforms are nice. They'll give you yours when you get there." Your father sent your measurements to them before you got here, so they'll already have your uniform." Holly said, yawning.
The drive there was a little tense, as Kevin WAS nervous. He wanted to graduate so he could go to college, but he didn't like the fact he was going to a whole new school. Then there was the fact of his record of getting into fights. That was gonna bite him on the backside in the future.
The school was bustling with students changing classes and going to lunch. As Kevin got out, most of them stared at him, making him very uncomfortable.
"They're staring at me like I'm dinner. I'll bet I'll get shoved before I even hit the door." Kevin said with a sigh.
"Oh you will not. Now hurry up, or you'll be late." Holly said.
"Alright." Kevin said." Bye mom."
"Bye. Love you!" Holly called.
"Love you too!" Kevin called back.
Kevin only took three steps and a student shoved him to the ground. He turned to scowl at his mother but she was laughing a little. He smiled and got back up. The student who shoved him was a stout ferret who was laughing to his friends about shoving Kevin. Kevin walked up to the door and just as he opened it, a handsome male Lion with long coal black hair bumped into him and knocked him to the ground.
"OW! What the hell are you doing?!" The lion said.
"You bumped into me, Asshole!" Kevin said rubbing his head.
The two locked eyes and they each fell silent and just stared at each other.
"I...I'm sorry. Let me give you a hand." The lion said.
"Thanks." Kevin said.
"I'm Aiden. Aiden Gabriel. And you are?" Aiden said.
"Kevin Adams. Nice to meet you." Kevin said.
"Adams? As in Holly Adams? You're her son?" Aiden asked.
"Yeah. I just moved here." Kevin said.
"So you are the new student we're expecting. Never thought you'd be so cute." Aiden said.
"H-Huh? Cute?" Kevin said, blushing.
"Yes. I love your stripes. Anyway I gotta go. Have to run home and grab my laptop. I cant seem to remember much these days. See ya!" Aiden said smiling.
Aiden took off for the parking lot, while Kevin just stood there smiling to himself. He couldn't believe that a handsome lion like that called him cute.
"HEY!" A mouse said popping up in front of him.
"HOLY CRAP!" Kevin said in surprise.
"Hi! Sorry to startle you. I'm Craig! School reporter. I'm doing a story for the school paper on the new kid in the neighborhood! That's you right?" Craig said.
"Uh yeah...name's Kevin." Kevin said, a little nervous.
"Oh I know you! By the way, was that Aiden Gabriel talking to you?" Craig said.
"Yeah. He called me...cute." Kevin said, smiling again.
"How Odd! He usually doesn't interact with anyone! You must be something really special. Crap! That's the bell! I'll see you around." Craig said then took off.
Kevin did hear the bell, and ran for the office. The ermine behind the desk showed him to his first class, which was his home room. The teacher, Mr. Crane, introduced him to the class. They all stared at him and a couple whispered to each other. Kevin took his seat in the back, next to the window. By some stroke of luck he saw that he would be sitting next to Aiden in that class, as their names were set at their seats. Kevin spent the rest of home period on his laptop listening to guitar riffs and memorizing them. His favorite so far was the beginning riff to Fall Out Boy's cover of Beat It by Michael Jackson. The bell rang, but he stayed put because home room doubled as English class. Aiden still didn't show for English, and Kevin was wondering if Aiden left because of him. He hoped not and took his English book out of his desk and opened it to the specified page on the board. English went by quick and he got up to leave, but was stopped by the same fat ferret who shoved him earlier that day.
"Well well! Looky here boys! We've got fresh meat in our school." The ferret said. "You sure look like a freak to me!"
"I'm assuming you're referring to my stripes." Kevin said.
"You look stupid with those stripes. Whoever heard of a buck with stripes?" The ferret said, laughing with his flunkies.
"For your information, my dad was a buck and my mom was a tiger, and stripes ain't the only thing I got from my mom!" Kevin said.
He dropped his bag to the floor and opened his hands quick to reveal claws on both of his hands. The ferret backed off quick and growled at Kevin.
"You may be safe in school but you'll have to leave sometime!" The ferret said.
"Fuck off fat ass, or I'll turn you into a scratching post." Kevin growled.
They all left and Aiden came rushing into the room.
"Are you all right?" Aiden asked.
"I'm fine. They don't scare me." Kevin said.
"You don't know what they were planning to do to you." Aiden said with a worried look.
"And you do?" Kevin said shooting a confused look at Aiden.
"Well...it's not hard to guess. Anyway we've got gym class next. Want to walk with me?" Aiden asked.
"Sure!" Kevin almost shouted.
As the walked down the hallway, many of the students stared.
"Why are they staring?" Kevin asked.
"Because I usually prefer to keep to myself. You are the first person in a year that I've even remotely talked to." Aiden said.
"And why are you talking to me?" Kevin inquired.
"You...fascinate me. I don't know how or why. But I sense a certain power within you. Maybe it's magic." Aiden said.
"Yeah. Right." Kevin laughed.
"Why not? Stranger things are here in Nightingale Falls. You'll see. AH! Here we are." Aiden said.
The gymnasium was large with a pool in the middle. They were drawing back the cover and there were students talking with the teacher, miss Johnson.
"Gabriel! Where have you been?" Miss Johnson bellowed across the gym.
"Showing our new arrival around ma'am." Aiden bellowed back.
"Then get him into a swimsuit and get over here." She said.
Aiden showed Kevin the locker room and picked out a swimsuit in his size.
"Um..." Kevin said.
"It's alright. I won't peek. Unless I see something I like." Aiden laughed.
"Heh. Okay." Kevin said nervously.
It was hard not to get excited around Aiden. To Kevin, Aiden was a Greek god of beauty and he was a wonder to behold. Kevin felt his body betray him and he began to get hard.
"Fuck!" He cursed to himself.
"Well I'm ready. How about you?" Aiden said.
"I uh...can't. I...don't feel well." Kevin muttered embarrassingly.
"What? Taking a swim is nothing to be-" Aiden started.
Kevin turned away and covered his crotch with some fear. Aiden looked to where Kevin was covering and smiled.
"I guess you are ready, but not for a swim." Aiden laughed.
"It's not funny, damn it!" Kevin said, turning beet red.
"Well I suppose we have about five minutes before the bell rings anyway. I think I'll take care of it for you." Aiden said then touched Kevin's cock.
Kevin shivered at Aiden's cold touch and fell backward onto one of the benches. Aiden bent down and grabbed hold of Kevin's rock hard dick and began moving his hands up and down.
"You like this, Kevin?" Aiden smiled.
"Y-yeah. Feels great. AH!" Kevin moaned.
"I'm a little surprised you aren't resisting. Most people would've cried assault by now." Aiden said.
"I can't help it...it...Mmm...feels so good." Kevin grunted
Aiden moved his hands faster and Kevin began clenching his fists. He felt Aiden's tongue on his chest and his eyes rolled back in his head with pleasure.
"You know, I really love your stripes. They make you look so sexy." Aiden teased.
"Don't...AH!...talk like that. It turns me on..." Kevin moaned.
"I thought that was the point." Aiden said. "Oh shit...I'm so close." Kevin said.
Aiden found his way to Kevin's nipples and teased them with teeth and tongue.
"AHH! Don't! I'll...AHHH!" Kevin said.
Aiden silenced Kevin's grunts and moaning with a deep, wet kiss. Their tongues danced inside their mouths. With a hard bite on his neck, Kevin squeaked as he shot his load all over Aiden's hands.
"GAHH! SHIT!" Kevin squealed.
"Now THAT is sexy. I think you'll have no more problems for today cutie." Aiden said.
"Wow. That was...wow." Kevin said.
"Come on. We'll be late." Aiden said, smiling.
Kevin took Aiden's hand and they walked to the gym together, but broke their grasp before anyone saw. The class did some exercises and stretching while in the water before the bell rang an hour later. Kevin smiled all throughout the day, thinking about the little event that happened in the locker room. At the end of the day, he was met up with by Craig, who asked him a couple of questions about where he lived before Nightingale Falls, and why he moved here. After Craig took off for the office, Kevin sat down on one of the benches outside of school. He wondered if what happened between he and Aiden was going to be anything serious. Just then his cell phone rang. It was his mother.
"Hello Kevin? Listen honey, I'm sorry, but they pushed my book signing to this afternoon. Can you wait at the school for me?" Holly said over the phone.
"Actually mom I was thinking of heading over to the music store. I wanna see if they have any instruments for sale." Kevin replied.
"Okay honey. Oh! I left a present for you inside your bag. It's in a little box. Gotta go sweetheart. Love you! Have fun!" She said.
"Love you." Kevin said, then hang up.
Kevin opened up his back and found this little box. Inside it was a roll of money. He counted over three thousand dollars.
"Thanks mom." He said to himself.
He put on his iPod and cranked up "No Shelter" By Seether, then walked up the street. Little did he know, he was being followed.
The afternoon was quiet and cloudy as Kevin walked up the road towards the music store. He decided to cut through an alley to save time. He only got halfway into the alley when a figure stepped into the alley and walked toward him, laughing.
"Why hello again fresh meat!" The figure shouted at Kevin.
"I thought I told you to fuck off." Kevin said back, recognizing the voice as the fat ferret.
"Aw, but I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Blake, The head honcho around here, and for your disrespect earlier today, I'm gonna make you my bitch." Blake bellowed, then whistled loudly.
Two furs stepped up behind him, and three furs stepped in behind Kevin. He was outnumbered six to one, but that didn't mean he wasn't gonna go down fighting. Kevin threw his bag into a corner and drew his claws.
"COME ON THEN!" Kevin roared.
The furs behind Blake rushed Kevin and threw punches. One grazed his cheek and the other just missed his stomach. He countered with a right cross to one, and a kick to the stomach for the other. Both furs fell to the ground, and Kevin drew his attention to the three behind him. The first drew a knife and went for Kevin's throat. One slash, and it missed so Kevin slashed him in the face with his claws. The fur fell into the wall crying over his bloodied face. One of the other two grabbed Kevin from behind and tried to restrain him. Kevin elbowed him in the stomach twice,, grabbed his head and drove his knee into his face, knocking him out. The other fur simply ran away. Kevin turned and roared like a tiger at the other furs. All but Blake retreated. Kevin smiled a fang filled smile at Blake who was also smiling.
"Oh I am going to enjoy feeding on you!" Blake Cackled.
"Huh?" Kevin said, a little confused.
Blake shot across the alley so fast, Kevin lost sight of him. Then, he felt a tap on his shoulder. When he turned, Blake was standing behind him with the face of a devil, and punched him in the stomach so hard, Kevin flew into the alley wall. He hit so hard, the impact dazed him. Blake lifted Kevin up with one arm and snarled at him.
"Any last words?" Blake said.
Kevin just spit in Blake's face.
"You got heart kid. I've been alive for 600 years and I've never met anyone with as much fight as you." Blake laughed. "But sadly, you must die."
Blake opened his mouth and was ready to tear Kevin's throat out. Kevin prepared himself. But he was dropped to the ground. A fist punched through Blake's chest, and was holding his heart in it's hand. Aiden was standing behind Blake, snarling and growling.
"Hands off, drifter, he belongs to me." Aiden growled.
With that, Aiden ripped off Blake's head, and Blake's body exploded in a flash of ashes. Kevin stared at Aiden with fear and was so scared he couldn't move. Aiden knelt down beside him and put a hand on his face, and Kevin cringed away in a fearful response.
"It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you." Aiden cooed. "Are you alright?"
"What the fuck are you!?" Kevin gasped.
"I'm a vampire, Kevin." Aiden said softly.
"Vampires aren't real! They aren't!" Kevin said with tears.
"Yes we are." Aiden said. "Are you afraid?"
"Yes...but not of you...I just..." Kevin stuttered.
Kevin fell into Aiden's arms and cried hard. Rain began to fall on the lonely alleyway.
"Come on. Let's get you somewhere dry." Aiden said.
"*sniff* Okay." Kevin replied.
