"Oooh fuck we're so screwed!" was what both thought in unison. They had to think of something quickly, but what, they didn't know... until "I hope he won't regret this...''. She cast an air pressure spell in her throat so that her voice would be more human and one that made her horns disappear and then went under the blanket and started to pretend she was giving him a blow job sometimes inadvertently touching his sack trough the fabric of his boxer. She tucked her wings into her body, trying to be as more inconspicuous as possible. Then sent a mental note to Lucas "Pretend we are having... well... a good time" Lucas was just too shocked by the absurd scene that was now happening, to comprehend what she told in his mind. Tough after some quick thinking, he decided that it was the best course to take. Time constraints didn't give them much choice in the matter... he gently took Lucynda's head in his hands, pretending to help her do her job more... enthusiastically, giving a mental sorry to Lucynda, which she received, while he was faking some moaning . All this happened in a blink of an eye. From the door came a beautiful women, with long raven hair, green eyes, big lips, and a curvy and sultry body to match. She wore tick round glasses, with a Metallica t-shirt, a pair of tight black jeans, and a pair of worn out military boots.
"Gimme my money Luc.... WHAT THE!?"
She blushed and turned around, while Lucynda screamed like they were caught in action. Then Lucas went under the blankets, his face has red as it could be. Tough he couldn't stop to snigger for the situation at hand, he still had to reply.
"Marta can I come in this afternoon? As you can see I'm quite...busy"
"S-s-sure... I'll be at home... around 5 o'clock... s-sorry!"
She rushed to the door and closed it. Once she was gone, the friends relaxed and took some big breath, the adrenaline still cursing trough their body. Then they began to laugh louder and louder, while Lucynda came out of the blankets. She gave a friendly lick to Lucas' cheek and smiled.
"Now, that was a close call"
"Yeah really close... sorry for grabbing your head and all, I totally forgot today she was coming for the rent."
"Don't apologize. I'm the lil' pervy dragoness that started all of this"
And she laughed again. Lucas just gazed upon her noting just how beautiful she was while laughing and promised himself one thing. He would do whatever he could to make her laugh and smile like she was doing now. He leaned over and pulled her into a hug and to his enjoyment the dragoness did the same, nuzzling him gently.
"So what should we do?" Lucas said quizzically.
"Well, as I said before we were... interrupted, it's not going to be easy. I have to warn the authorities that you are at least aware that our world exist and that makes you a threat, so we have to take it cautiously. Thankfully for us tough, I have a friend high-up in the courts that could help us in speeding up the process to make you a full citizen of our world. Tough you can't just disappear from your world either, at least not all of a sudden. We have some enemies that would recognize such disappearance, and we cannot let them discover our secret entrances"
"Wait couldn't you teleport me to your home like the other time?"
"Not always. Actually what I did that night, broke several security protocols and if they found out they would put me instantly to jail"
"Oooohhh"
"For now, I will pay a visit to my friend and ask what I need to make you become a citizen. Meanwhile you pay the owner and ask her to be less... invading next time. By the way, you told me the other time at my home that you would like to better know magic and alchemy right?"
"Yes, I would really like to learn"
"Well if you can wait some time, I can enlist you in some special university. Some of them, especially here in Italy, have a double side of their own. They are universities for us during night. You could have human course or if you want and have the power, I could teach you magic or alchemy and maybe take some special course there"
"Whoaaah wait a minute! You say I could actually be a mage or an alchemist?"
"Well, why not? I could be your teacher"
Lucynda as my teacher? That would be awesome!* he thought to himself. Then an image of the dragoness in a teachers outfit with a pair of glasses came into his mind and he almost got an instant boner at that idea. He closed his eye and tough about the offer for a couple of minutes and then said
"Well that would be great! I mean, since I was a kid I dreamed about it!"
"Ok but slow down, it isn't like abra cadabra, some strange hand gesture or using a stick and waving it like Harry Potter. It's a LOT of things you have to learn and both magic and alchemy aren't something to be approached without caution"
"Ok. So if we can start, when would be the day?"
"I don't know yet, tough I will inform you as soon as I can. Keep the talisman always with you"
"Sure I will"
He replied while giving a quick glance to his gift. He still marvelled about it and the thought that maybe one day he could create such artefacts, boosted his happiness to no limits. The dragoness smiled as she clearly understood how Lucas felt, since magic isn't something you are born with, but something you develop. She gave a gentle kiss on his cheek and said
"See you soon Lucas"
And with that she teleported back to her home in her usual fashion. Lucas was still hyped by the proposition and called his friends, asking if they wanted to play some paintball and of course they all accepted. He then took enough money to pay the rent and placed in the mailbox of Marta and sent her a message telling her where she could find the money of the rent. He patiently waited for Kamaru and, once he arrived with all the gear, they went to the arena.
When Lucynda came back to her home, she immediately went to search the cryscom (crystal of communication). Once she founded, she charged it with her power and said
"Tetonka Rafael"
Then a hologram of a slightly old gryphon, with golden fur, black feathers and stunning ice blue eyes that could pierce trough the body like an x-ray, appeared. He wore the typical judge tunic, and was carrying a mastodontic leathered book, in his right arm
"Hello Lucynda. May I ask you to wait until I place this book back in the library and I'm back in the studio? There are too many eyes and ears"
"Ok I'll wait"
For a few minutes the cryscom went black, until a blue light appeared mid-air signaling who was contacting her and if she accepted the call. She replied positively and again the gryphon was now visible, but this time, he was seated behind a quite impressive mahogany desk, while sipping a glass of brandy
"So what can I do for you today Lucynda? Are those vampire hunters still bothering you"
"Oh no, its not that, tough thanks again for it. One of them even tried to rape me"
"I know, I know"
"But I have to ask something. I found... a new friend, a very good one tough the only things is..."
"Yes?"
"He's a human"
The gryphon squeak loudly, spitting his brandy over the desk, his eyes bulging out of their sockets
"WHAT! It's already difficult to not have you arrested and now you're saying that you contacted a human! You know better than me what this implies!"
"Yeah I know, I know... though he's very special. He's someone who can be trusted and I already know him from a month or so"
"You've gotta Be KIDDING!? Do you want to give me an heart attack!? Oohhh! For Rormar sake!"
The gryphon sighed, placing a feline paw on his head, massaging it a bit, pondering what to do now. It was out question to allow the human into the society without the proper bindings, besides, if some of the authority knew what was going on. They would immediately arrest the dragoness and probably "put her on a stake" so to speak. He had to act carefully while not raising any suspicions among his colleagues. Lucynda was hopefully looking to him with a sort of puppy face printed on it. He deeply sighed closing his eyes and then saying
"Alright, alright I'll see what I can do. No promises"
Lucynda smiled thanking him
"I owe you a big dinner for this!"
"It's the least I can do for what I've done."
"That debt has been long being repaid. How many times do I have to say it?"
The gryphon chuckled and then closed the communications. Now it was just a matter of waiting. If there was something that old gryphon could do best, it was solving bureaucratic and law problems. As well as finding those hellish little paragraph. After taking a good shower, she decided to get some sleep. Sunrays for vampires are the most soporific agent.
Marta was still shocked of what she did see at the house. Why are good looking guys so fast in finding a girl!? She always wanted to stick sometime with him, but never mastered the courage needed to ask him. She was at a shopping mall when her cellphone rang. She answered the call by instinct
"Yes, hello?"
"Beware for your renter's friend"
"What? Who's there"
The stranger cut off the connection. Now concern flowed over Marta, unsure of what to do. She just stood there silent... trying to figure out what the dark ominous voice meant.
