Chapter 4

"Get up."

The black-furred wolf's knees were weak at the mere presence of the larger wolf, but by using the wall behind him he was able to stand. He kept his eyes on the ground as he swayed unsteadily, willing his knees to bear his weight. The Alpha ran his yellow eyes over him, making him feel small. His tail was pinned between his legs, and he was still whimpering softly. Raising his eyes slightly, they traced over the huge footpaws, then up the twin columns of flesh and bone that were his Alpha_'_s legs. He swallowed hard when his eyes reached the bulge in the wolf's pants, his mind flashing back to the pain similar males had caused before. Hurrying his eyes away from there, they traveled up the other wolf's stomach and stopped at his powerful chest, refusing to move upward and inch more.

"What is your name?"

He started. That was the first honest question he had heard in years. He was so surprised that he almost answered it like the wolf before him was his equal, and not his master. "Ad...A-Anything you wish, A-Alpha."

A huge paw enveloped his shoulder and pulled him away from the wall. Once he was a good distance away from its protection, he was released. The wolf paced around him, causing the wolf to tense every time his Alpha walked behind him. "My name is Cedric." The wolf said, "Now what is the name your sire gave you?"

"A-Aden, Alpha."

Cedric nodded, "Come with me, Aden."

As Cedric turned and walked out of the alley, Aden got a good look at his Alpha's muscled back. The wolf's muscles looked good on him, but if he was any smaller and they would be considered grotesque. Wrapping his cloak tighter, he followed the wolf. Part of his mind shouted at him to run, but he reached out and squashed it. His Alpha had saved him, and he was bound under oath to repay his debt by a devoting his life to him. And, as much as the Alpha's scent terrified him, it was intoxicating.

Cedric led him back through the city streets towards the gate they both had entered by. As they neared them the wolf turned, leading Aden off of the streets and into a small courtyard. He took a sniff of the air, smelling the scent of horses and hay. His heart beat a little faster when he remembered that his Alpha had arrived on a horse. He whined softly. He had already run so far today, how could he hope to keep up? The wolf turned to him, and Aden's ears splayed instinctively. He felt the male eyeing him, studying him. A huff of air made him cringe, and his ears flattened even more.

"I'm going to go saddle my horse. Stay here, and do not move, understand?"

Aden bit his lip and nodded, "Yes, Alpha."

The wolf lingered for a moment, then grunted and turned, walking away into the inner parts of the stable. Aden glanced at the wall behind him, and almost went to lean against it, but he stopped himself at the last moment. His Alpha had told him to stay there, and even further, to not move. After a minute he shook his head vigorously. Why was he acting so strangely? He had never been this complacent with his other master... Aden considered running, but the slow clip-clop of hooves made him pause. Cedric emerged from the stables, leading his mammoth of a horse by the reins. As he approached, Aden found himself more easily able to stand in his Alpha's presence. Perhaps he had reined himself in now that they were out of danger, or he had grown used to it, but Aden had no doubt that the wolf could bring him to his knees with a single glance if he wanted to.

Cedric beckoned with a paw. "Come." Aden nodded and walked over, taking his normal spot behind and slightly to the left of the horse. Cedric eyed him strangely. "What are you doing?"

His ears flattened, what had he done wrong? "Getting ready to follow you, Alpha."

The wolf chuckled. "Don't be silly. You're sitting up here with me, Stormhale here can take both of us."

Aden's ears flicked forward a moment before flattening once again. What kind of Master would want him close for so long a time? Unless....he shuddered, taking a step back. "A-Alpha, it wouldn't be right for me to inconvenience you..."

He breath caught in his throat as a wave of sheer Alpha washed over him, making his knees buckle. "If it inconvenienced me, I wouldn't have asked you." The other wolf growled. "Now come over here."

With faltering steps, knees still shaking, Aden stumbled over to Cedric. He yelped loudly when the larger wolf grabbed him and lifted him into the saddle. The paws retreated, leaving him shivering there, his paws a good distance from the ground. As Cedric got on behind him, he tucked his tail around his body and grasped it in his paws, seeking the small comfort it provided. Cedric clicked his tongue, and the horse started forward. Aden, unused to the motion, fell back into his Alpha's wide chest. Yelping softly, he lurched away, nearly falling off the front of the horse before Cedric caught him by the back of his cloak.

"Sorry, Alpha." He whispered when he had recovered his balance.

Cedric just grunted and patted his shoulder, the smaller wolf cringing at each touch, expecting pain at any moment. When none came, he was as apprehensive as he was relieved. Was he really not going to be punished? Or was the wolf just saving it all up to justify a larger punishment later? He began to sweat lightly as his mind ran through the possibilities. The stiffening of his alpha behind him, along with the clatter of wheels approaching, made Aden look around nervously. An ornate coach passed by them, and he caught a glimpse of a white-furred wolf staring out at them. After it had passed, he heard the wolf shouting at her driver to stop.

"Hold on." Muttered Cedric, and before Aden could comprehend what was happening, the horse was in a gallop, dashing down the street and out the gate. He yelped loudly and clutched at the arm holding him reflexively. The ground rushed along beneath him, dirt and rocks flashing by. Aden shuddered, this was too fast, way to fast. When they were out of sight of the port, Cedric slowed down. Shaking uncontrollably, Aden tried to slide off the horse, desperate to feel the ground beneath his paws again. His Alpha stopped him, however.

"Wait until we get home, then you can walk around." Aden closed his eyes and leaned forward, wishing that his torment was over.

After what seemed like an eternity, he heard a shout of welcome and dared to open his eyes. He felt queasy from the rocking motion of the horse, but he fought off the heaving of his stomach and looked around. He noticed that they were far from the port, and before them was a large walled mansion. w_alls. cage. trapped. pain._ He stiffened involuntarily. His Alpha felt the movement of his body and rumbled at him to sit still. Aden quelled his desire to run, but still sat as stiff as a board as they passed through the gate, a lightly armored guard staring at him curiously. He whined and shifted his gaze away, reluctant to keep eye contact with him. His back throbbed with the ghosts of the bruises that had just recently healed over, but were still fresh in his mind.

A stallion grabbed the reins that Cedric tossed to him, bumping Aden in the process. The wolf suppressed a whimper, he really had to calm down. His Alpha shifted behind him and swung a leg over the back of the horse and stepped off. Reaching a paw up, he offered it to Aden. He stared at the proffered paw, whining slightly. He did want to get off the horse, but to touch the ground would be, to him, the equivalent to trapping himself here. He had not yet touched anything of the wolf's that was tethered here, only the trappings of the horse that could be gone from here at any time. Yet the paw was there, letting him know that his Alpha wanted him to come down from the horse. He whimpered and did as it bid, reluctant to let the last of his honor be tarnished.

"Who's this, Master?"

Cedric turned to the stallion, leaving Aden behind him with his tail between his legs. As soon as there had been room for it, it had snapped back down. Aden stroked the fluffy tip that curled up towards his stomach, looking around anxiously.

"This is Aden. I found him being attacked in an alley near Matron's. He's bonded to me now, so don't ask him to do something that I wouldn't like."

The stallion looked scandalized. "Of course, Master!"

The wolf nodded reassuringly, "I know Groom, but he needed to hear it." He glanced to Aden, and then back to the stallion. "And spread the word that I want code three in place for a couple hours."

Groom raised his eyebrows, but nodded. "Yes, Master, I'll start right away."

"Good." Cedric turned to Aden. "Come."

They walked across the courtyard and into the mansion. Aden realized that the Hunter must be incredibly rich, or be some sort of Lord, to own such a large estate. This was looking worse and worse for him. His Alpha was a Hunter, rich, powerful, and could order him to do anything and he was honor-bound to obey. After walking down endless hallways and corridors, Cedric opened the door and ushered him through. When Aden entered, he found that they had entered a large square room with nothing in it. Just the smooth stone blocks of the walls, ceiling, and floor. On one side, barred windows let in the light, but other then those and the door, there were no openings. Aden leapt away when he heard a click behind him, and spun around to find that the wolf had closed and locked the door, his only exit. He snarled at the wolf, eyeing the key in his paw. Cedric noticed his gaze and casually walked over the the window and tossed the key out.

Aden backed himself up against the wall, teeth bared. Now he was trapped here with a wolf who was most likely horny. His ears pinned back as Cedric looked over at him, then beckoned him with a paw. He made a reflexive half-step forward, but then forced himself to stand still. He reasoned that he hadn't been ordered to do anything, so therefore it wouldn't break his oath to ignore the paw. The paw turned and pointed straight down, a clear 'come here now' signal if there ever was one. Turning his back to it, he reasoned his way out of that one as well. Unfortunately, this also meant that he couldn't see the other wolf. Realizing his tactical error, he spun back around, but it was too late. The wolf had closed in on him. His paws were on his shoulders, and those yellow eyes were only a foot from his. Struggling, Aden screamed. It wasn't like he previous yelps or whimpers, this was one of full-blown terror. The paws turned him around and pulled him back against the wide chest of the wolf, and those hardened muscles tensed against his back as his large arms wrapped around the smaller wolf. Aden found his own arms pinned to his sides, and his legs pinned against the floor in much the same manner. All he could do was scream in terror.

And scream he did. The position brought back all the memories of his past few years, the beatings, the rape, the humiliation, the defilement. All of it came rushing back at once, crowding into his mind and overloading his senses with the memories of the scents, sounds, and pain of each and every one of them.

Cedric just sat there, holding the wolf tight as he struggled and screamed. Eventually he would tire himself out, and Cedric would hold him until he did. But for now the frightened wolf had turned into a rabid beast, writhing against the chest behind him. Slamming his head back into the chest, he tried to squeeze himself under the arms trapping him. His mind was running on pure survival instinct, his rational thought trapped in memories of the past.

Paws held him down as others ripped his clothes from his body. His muzzle was being ground into the stone floor of the guardhouse, and he could feel a black eye forming. Aden whined loudly, only to receive a blow to the back of his head, driving his muzzle hard against the floor once more. All he had wanted was a few breaths of outside air, but as soon as a guard saw him, he was beaten down and pulled into the guardhouse. Any of the soldiers that were off-duty stood nearby, most of them naked and stroking swelling sheaths. The lieutenant was the one holding him down, and the captain the one stripping him. He shivered as cool air ran over his tailhole. Attempting to clamp his tail over it only made the captain tug it up all the rougher.

The lieutenant whispered hotly in his ear. "Just you wait, slut. The captain's gonna do you good. He's really pent up. The whores in the port won't accept him willingly anymore because he's too rough. That doesn't mean he can't get them, it just means that they're harder to get. You, on the other paw, are much easier to get, and we don't need to worry about the city guards coming after us for rape. So be a good bitch, and take all of it. After him, the rest of us will all take turns.

Aden whined as the captain's wide thumb sank into his hole. The dog behind him jammed it in as far as it would go, earning him a yelp from the pinned wolf. "Shut up, slut." The captain bit the back of his neck and picked him up, leaning back against the guardhouse wall. He was shorter than Aden, but such a stocky build it hardly mattered. All he needed to do was hold the wolf's legs so he couldn't touch the ground and his height ceased to be a problem. Grunting slightly, he heaved he wolf up and with one powerful stroke, sank half of his thick rod into Aden. Tears sprang to the wolf's eyes as he screamed, the cock nearly tearing him. The captain tugged roughly on the back of his neck as he pulled back and thrust again, hard, sinking more of his cock into the hot hole before him. Soon he was as far in as possible, and the recipient of this treatment could only utter muffled screams, his muzzle long since tied tight by the lieutenant. Said lieutenant was watching Aden carefully, studying his reactions while pawing away at his own dripping member. The captain pulled back and slammed forward again, causing the wolf's eyes to go wide and his muffled screams to rise in pitch.

The captain released his neck for a moment. "Lieutenant, stop pawing yourself and get your furry ass over here." The dog immediately obeyed.

"Yes sir?"

"This bitch is pretty tight, but as you know, I don't drip a whole lot. If I keep going like this I'm going to rub myself raw. I know you're a leaker, so lend me some lube."

The lieutenant grinned, "Do you think he can take it?"

"He will."

The lieutenant stepped forward, smothering his own erection against the already packed tailhole and looking the terrified wolf straight in the eyes, grabbing his muzzle. "Better relax, wolfie, cause I'm not gonna stop."

The door to the guardhouse banged open, and the light from outside framed the large form of a rottweiler. Everyone froze as the Lord of the manor stepped inside, closing the door and leaning against it. Not a muscle was moved for well over a minute, and Aden watched the dog with hopeful eyes. He'd rather take the rottweiler than all the guards. This was shattered as Baldric reached down and opened his pants, fishing out his own half-hard cock and beginning to stoke it.

"What are you waiting for? I came here to watch the show, not to provide one. Get going."

The lieutenant turned back to Aden, flashing him a lusty smile. "With pleasure, Sir."

Aden screamed as he came to, thrashing against the arms restraining him. They were back, they were going to do it again, they would kill him this time, he was sure of it. Finding his muzzle free, he snarled and snapped at the monster behind him. He wouldn't let them have him. He would fight until he died, but he would never again submit to them.

"Aden, you're safe here."

Safe? Ha! Nowhere was safe, they would find him wherever he went. Why hadn't he killed himself while he had the chance? Then they wouldn't be able to hurt him anymore. They couldn't....

But this wasn't the hot, lusty voices of his tormentors, and the heat against him wasn't that of a bare cock. The pain in his rear wasn't the hot agony of being freshly impaled, but the dull ache of weeks of continuous abuse. Hazarding a glance over his shoulder, he was met with the yellow eyes of his Alpha. The wolf that had saved him from that doberman. He hadn't done anything to him yet, even when he had been unconscious, which would've been a perfect time to tie him up.

He shook his head. None of that mattered! He would rape him just like all the rest, and then turn him over to his old master. Aden had no illusions about what would happen when he was back in the rottweiler's paws. He'd never see daylight again, and wouldn't last the week in all probability. He resumed his struggles, the arms tightening slightly about him.

He heard the wolf behind him sigh, then growl softly. A second later, he felt it. Alpha. The pure unadulterated presence of his Alpha washed over him, and his will to fight gave out. Falling limp in the wolf's arms, he felt his form shifted until he was being held like a baby, cradled in his Alpha's arms. "Don't be afraid." Cedric said. "I won't allow anyone to hurt you. Just stay by me, and everything will be alright."

Aden struggled against the presence of his Alpha, trying to break his mind free of the hold it had on him. The larger wolf sighed and began to pull back, sensing Aden's continued reluctance and feeling that he had had enough for now. As the heat from the wolf's chest began to move away from his back, Aden was overwhelmed with fear, of a type he had never felt before. The fear of being left alone. He whimpered loudly and pressed back against his Alpha's chest, surprising both his Alpha and himself. Cedric sighed and wrapped his arms around Aden again, and this time the wolf willingly buried himself in his chest, inhaling the scent that had saved him. The longer he spent immersed in that scent, the more it imprinted in his mind. This was the scent of the one that had saved him. This wasn't just the scent of his Master he began to realize. An Alpha was much more than that. True, he had all the power of a Master, but he was also his Protector. Sighing, he curled closer to the thick brown fur, he was safe here. He'd never leave this place again.

Cedric growled softly and tightened his arms fractionally, pulling Aden tighter to him. He couldn't imagine what the pup had gone through. Even Maurel hadn't fought for as long as this one had. Nuzzling the top of Aden's head, he mentally reaffirmed the promise he had made. He would do everything he could to keep Aden safe. Picking him up, he walked over to the wall and leaned back against it, sliding down it until he hit the ground. Cradling him in his arms, he pulled his knees up and wrapped his tail around the both of them, nearly obscuring him completely. Resting his muzzle on his black-furred head, he closed his eyes.

Aden felt himself floating upwards out of the darkness of sleep, letting it slip slowly past him as he woke. He snuggled closer to the warmth surrounding him, brushing against thick fur. Freezing, he fought back the urge to lunge out of the grasp of whoever was holding him, doing that rarely ended well. However, he couldn't stop his body from stiffening and his ears laying back. Opening his eyes cautiously, he found his muzzle an inch from one much larger. He whined, and this seemed to rouse the giant from his slumber. The head rose and turned toward him. A large, wet tongue slipped out of the muzzle and stroked over the top of his head before retreating back into the muzzle. With a soft growl, more felt than heard, the head settled back down next to his. The arms surrounding him tightened slightly, almost imperceptibly, and the movement brought a new wave of scent over Aden. Like a torch in the darkness, he suddenly remembered everything that had happened earlier that day. Or was it yesterday? He had no clue how long he had slept. All he knew was that he was trapped in this room with his Alpha...and he didn't mind so much anymore. Gently, he nuzzled the underside of his Alpha's chin and licked it.

As soon as he realized what he was doing, he jerked his muzzle down to his chest. What reason had this wolf given him to trust him? Then again, what reason had he given not to? He had saved his life, brought him to his house, and when locked in an empty room with him completely at his mercy, only held him like a puppy. There was the fact that he was rich, as well a being a hunter, but he had treated him as no other person ever had. He took a deep sniff of his Alpha's scent and made a decision. He would follow his Alpha willingly for as long as the wolf earned his trust. If he turned out to be like all the others, then he was a fool to hope.

The wolf stirred, and Aden leaned harder against his chest. Cedric peered down at him, treating him to another lick before shifting to get up. Aden whined and clung tighter to his chest, reluctant to leave the warmth of the embrace. One of Cedric's large paws ruffled his ears lightly as he sat back again. "How are you feeling today? Better?"

Aden looked up at him, then away, reluctant to maintain eye contact. "Yes, Alpha."

Cedric's ears perked forward. "Why do you call me Alpha?"

"Your scent says you are." Aden replied. "And you hold my life-bond."

The brown wolf shrugged, "If you say so." He looked over what he could see of Aden more closely, now that he wasn't shivering. The black-furred wolf had numerous scars scattered across his body, mostly small and covered by his fur, but one on his back right shoulder was large enough to keep the fur there parted. Cedric rubbed a paw along the wolf's back. "How old are you, Aden?"

"S-Sixteen, Alpha." Aden said, surprised that the wolf had used his name. It had been ages since anyone had spoken it in normal conversation, even the slaves back at Lord Baldric's palace called him names, from 'pet' to 'cumrag' and much worse. He jumped slightly as his Alpha's stomach grumbled. It was so loud that it vibrated against him.

Cedric looked down at himself. "What do you say we go and get something to eat?"

Aden clung to him reflexively, "Don't leave me, Alpha, please!"

The wolf stood up, Aden still in his arms. "Don't worry, I'm right here. You will be eating with me, and if you want to you can sit on my lap."

He flinched. "If it's alright with you, Alpha, I'd like to sit next to you."

Cedric nodded and set him down, laying an arm across his shoulders and pulling him close. "You may. Now, let's find Cook. She should have some wonderful food for both of us."

Aden pressed against him, his own stomach grumbling at the mention of food. "Thank you, Alpha." The wolf nodded and licked Aden's ear before walking over to the locked door. Raising a closed paw, he rapped three times. A section of the door, about head height, opened, and a guard peered in. "Shall I open the door, Sir?"

Cedric nodded. "Yes." There was a rattling on the other side of the door, and after a moment it swung back, a canine guard holding it wide for them.

"You were in there for quite awhile, Sir."

He shrugged. "Aden needed more reassurance than a short session would permit." Aden's ears went flat against his head and he pulled away ever so slightly. He had inconvenienced his Alpha...he whimpered softly. Cedric heard this and pulled him tight against him again. "But I was glad to give him all the time he needed."

Aden looked up, finding his Alpha looking down at him. Their eyes met, Aden searching for sincerity in his Alpha's. Satisfied, he dropped his gaze once again and nuzzled the wolf's shoulder.

The guard chuckled. "I don't think he's gonna be able to be at ease without you anymore, Sir."

"Maybe not, but I can think on that later. Right now we're off to get some food, right Aden?"

The black-furred wolf nodded slightly, eyes closed as he continued rubbing his muzzle against his Alpha's fur, doing his best to ingrain the scent into his.
