Drake and the rescue guild

It was 150 years since I became a vampire. I was walking through some dense fog when is smelled fresh blood and heard a faint heartbeat. I fallowed the sound until I found a bayleef about to die. It said, "Please give this message to the local python guild. Team ten has failed." Then it died. I asked around to find the guild and some local pokémon told me to fallow the ekans signs. I fallowed the signs to a gate. I was young and did not know how to enter without permission. I waited for hours to see if anyone came out and allowed me in.

A spearow flew in and asked me, "Why are you not inside? It is about to rain come in already."

I came in and told it, "I have a message for Zeus can I see him?" As I was guided to see him, I noticed only females with young around and no males, I though "This is strange." I have never heard of a rescue guild but, I had heard of an assassin's guild before. Not of them looked tough at all. They were healers and medical experts.

I met Zeus, and he was an old, tall sandslash. He was the only male there and he had no females around him.

Zeus asked, "Which branch are you from?"

My response was, "None, I was asked to give a message. Team ten has failed."

"Then why do you have a green cloth on your leg?" He asked me.

"I had a cut and needed a bandage. Why a pokémon of your status have no females around themselves?" I asked him.

He blushed and said, "I am too old to function properly if you know what I am saying."

"It means they are not for mate but more like friends then." I told him.

He laughed and said, "How old are you 30?"

"No, I am 155 years old. You are young for me." I said.

I found out they were traveling though dragons pass in the spring. You do not do that unless you are a dragon or suicidal in the daylight. I was bored Johto, I had explored it for years nothing there was interesting. I decided to guide a group though an old mountain pass that was forgotten. It snaked though a dark cave for miles unit a sinkhole that allowed light to enter. It was a three-day journey. They were eating fruit and berries. I told them I did not eat much but meat or a liquid diet. I hunted the cave when they were sleeping.

On the second day, we were at the sinkhole and a squirtle noticed I had no reflection and somehow knew what I was. He tried to kill me later that day but I overpower her.

I told her, "I'm a 150-year-old vampire I do not plan to eat you if you do not try to kill me again!" Then I showed my fangs. She was frightened.

She said, "You killed my father he was a lapras and I will kill you!"

"I hate water types their blood is too salty and I never ate a water type before only licked a dead body." I told her the truth. I learned later water type blood is delicate and makes me sick for a week if it is not really fresh. I skipped eating that day.

On the final day we had passed dragon pass to finish a mission was. It was to rescue a sick party but I recognized the disease. My kids and mate died of it, I thought it was extinct. I looked over a ridge and saw the size of it.

I told the rest, "There are lots of dead bodies and half the bunch is dying. If you approach, you will die to. I am immune and if the squirle tells, all of you will disappear."

I headed down and heard the cries of the dying. Most of the adults were dead. Some were too late to save. I saw some were blind already and coughing up blood. Then, I heard a pulse. It was weak and small. I fallowed it to a dead absol. I found her pup trapped under her. He had a high fever but, was early enough to save. He was only old for about a week or two and I never wanted to see anyone that young die so horribly. I knew if I touched him he would be in pain like being on fire for hours and not able to get away.

I found a red flower and opened it up and gave him a drop of the white fluid. It was a powerful pain killer, then I picked him up.

He was alert enough to ask, "Why was mommy bald and in pain? Then, she was blind and her skin looked sick. Where is she?"

I put him down and said, "She is dead and you are very sick you may not make it but I will try to save you. You are the only survivor." Then, I continued to carry him. The others were surprised he was alive and I gave him some more fluid from the flower and mixed it with fruit and berries. The other had to wait a week for him to get better. We returned on the same route. On the way back I found a persian. I was famished but I made a deal. "If you get me a raticate I will spare your life."

It did find what I wanted and I drank from it. The absol ate the liver and some of the meat. I had the rest. When we returned, other had to give a report and I was sleeping through it. I was given an honorary position and allowed to stay. I learned a lot from that guild. Eight months past before the absol went on the first mission and never returned. I found out he found a mate and was raising a family. Eight years passed and I took a vacation and decided to find the absol. When I did, he was busy. I stayed and helped and did not return. I told one of the members I decided to leave. I never aged and soon the absol had to know the truth and I told him. We stayed together until he died at 89 years old. When he died, I returned to the guild and there was only one member left. She said humans took members faster than they could be replaced. That was their last stronghold before they collapsed and separated to create new groups before they would disappear forever. I have never found that guild again.
