Chapter 2: http://www.sofurry.com/view/360328
This is a non-canon alternate timeline of "Ghostbusters: Regenesis." Vampy wanted to see Eli with his incubi character but that would have required a bit of a change up. In this dimension Nico works in New York and never met Eli.
So yes, consider this a "what if" or an alternate dimension.
Ghostbusters: Redux "Ice to Meet You" Written by Leo_Todius Commissioned by Vampy
The following is a portrayal of an alternate universe. Events are not canon for "Ghostbusters: Regenesis"
A roar filled the air as heavy droplets of rain fell in sheets, coupled with a rare hail. The little white shards bounced and ricocheted off of everything outside of the school, collecting in the grass like snow while turning the parking lot full of cars into musical instruments with the sounds of their impact. It was through the parking lot that a young man ran, holding a plastic folder above his head for cover as his straw colored hair clung wetly to his soft skin. As much as Eli loved being an Oregonian, he often wished it wasn't taboo to use an umbrella.
After a few moments Eli stepped under the overhang guarding the school entrance. Eli had come, as he did three times a week, to offer his services to the school as a volunteer. He had started working in the garden but had advanced to tutoring students. Eli treasured his tutoring work. The school had truly been innovative, taking new and revolutionary approaches to education, but since it was so new the students were still trying to catch up. Many had been held back in other schools but were making up for lost time.
Eli made his way through the school, checking in to get his guest pass, giving the secretaries a true, warming smile. Even when he looked like drowned cat, Eli was capable of such joy. It had been an asset during his day job as a Ghostbuster. No one could face that sort of profound experience without a little mirth. Eli strode through the halls, making his way to the library. He looked at the students and reflected fondly. He wasn't too much older than them, though he did appreciate the bit of maturity he had gained since high school.
Turning the corner, Eli moved into the large, comfortable library of the school. The warm woods and warm lights reminded Eli of some comfortable den, but the busy high traction carpet reminded him that it was a school. It was a good combination. Eli glanced up and spotted the student he was to tutor in the far corner. The young man appeared to be around nineteen, likely held back a year at some point, but he was only five foot five tall. Despite being shorter than average, he had an average amount of muscles and seemed well suited to his body. What stood out the most, however, was his uncommon hair. It seemed to be somewhere between silver and white, a condition Viz blamed on a lack of melanin, the same reason his eyes were an icy slate grey.
Eli had met Viz two months earlier. The principle had asked if he would help with a special needs case and Eli had volunteered. At first Viz had only communicated with verbalization software on the iPads the school contributed. Over time his friendship with one of the other students had helped Viz to open up a little more and talk from time to time, though he was still acutely shy. Still, Eli had to give him credit. His clothes were always color coordinated in cold shades; whites, grays and light blues. The brightest color Eli had ever seen him wear was a turquoise like the color of a glacier with all the spare oxygen pushed out of the ice.
"Hello there Viz, hello there Teddy." Eli said as he approached. The second greeting had been directed at the teddy bear sized polar bear sitting on the corner of the table. Viz never went anywhere without it. Viz smiled wide, his eyes practically sparkling as he saw his mentor. As much as Viz tried to help it, every time he saw Eli his heart fluttered and he nearly swooned. Eli had been s kind, so comforting, so open and helpful... and just seeing Eli made him hard. He soon blushed as his member hardened, though his cheeks didn't even redden, already cooling off by the time the blood got there.
"Hi." Viz managed after a long moment. Despite being shy, he knew it made Eli happy when he spoke and he really liked making Eli happy. Every moment they spent together was like heaven, wrapping Viz up tight. He craved so much to be accepted and loved... Eli beamed, not just from the good omen of Viz talking, but the amusing fact that Viz's breath always smelled like peppermint. Eli never saw him take any breath mints but the scent was already there.
"So, where did we last leave off?" Eli asked, sitting down and putting his folder down. He opened it up and filtered through the paperwork, shivering a bit.
"English." Viz replied. Eli nodded.
"Right, right. English." Eli smiled, flipping through his paperwork. Viz gazed at Eli adoringly. For the most part he didn't need tutoring, he'd been in school long enough to pick up virtually everything, but he'd pretended to need a tutor in order to get closer to Eli. There was something intangible about him, something compelling. Eli looked up.
"How much progress have you made reading Dandelion Wine?" Eli asked. Viz blushed gently.
"I finished it." He admitted. Eli grinned brightly.
"You finished it? Already? Most kids your age couldn't care less about the 20's, let alone a science fiction version of them." Eli smirked.
"It was an interesting time-" Viz paused, realizing he had said to much, "Reading about it I mean." He added. Eli gave a little chuckle.
"It certainly was. Well, if you're done, do you have any questions about it? Anything you need clarified? You're a week ahead of schedule so that's a lot of extra time to get ready for the essay." Eli said.
"I have a few questions but... I was wondering if we could discuss them somewhere else, somewhere... maybe like your place." Viz said, not making direct eye contact, hoping Eli wouldn't object.
"Well, I don't know if that's entirely appropriate, I can't just take you out of school..." Eli hesitated. Viz slowly lifted his head, looking into Eli's eyes. As they met, Viz's irises began to shimmer like liquid silver and Eli relaxed some.
"What about after school? I promise I'll be good... I'll make you very happy that I'll be there. Please don't say no." Viz whispered. Eli's heart ached for the young man.
"I won't say no... I'll pick you up and we can stop by my place for a while, but that still means we have to make headway here. How are you doing in your other classes?" Eli asked.
"Not so good in math. I still don't get imaginary numbers, I can't imagine them." Viz said. Again Eli chuckled, putting an arm around Viz to rub his back gently.
"Don't worry, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to make it a little easier. We'll start there." Eli said before he moved to get out his math materials. Viz watched him unpack and flip through pages. He knew Eli was special. He was so smart, so kind, so affectionate. Viz felt this deep seeded need, this desire, this longing... But he wasn't going to use his powers to win Eli's heart, he was going to use the truth... and either Eli would accept him for what he was, or turn him away... though Viz feared if he was turned away he just might freeze solid and shatter into a trillion pieces.
"Viz?" Eli asked after a moment, "Did you hear?"
"What?" Viz asked, blushing bright red. He'd been in the school system longer than there had been an organized one and he still couldn't pay attention.
"Let's start on page 102." Eli said. Viz nodded quickly, flipping through the pages to catch up to Eli.
****
The sun had set and the rain had only gotten stronger, pelting against the windows of Eli's apartment, but inside it was warm... very warm. Viz sat at Eli's dining room table wearing nothing but his sleeveless undershirt and pants. He'd stripped off his outer layers trying to adjust to the heat. As hot as he was, he imagined Teddy was even more uncomfortable with all that fur. Eli didn't normally keep it so high but he'd been cold all day. Still, every time he asked Viz if he was too hot he said no.
They had gone over math, anthropology, history... Viz was unnaturally good when it came to history... but as they wrapped up, Viz knew he couldn't put off his questions any longer, his true questions and his sharing of the truth. He lifted his head and looked up into the kitchen where Eli stood, making tea. It seemed like the blond boy had two hundred kinds of tea. It had been hard to make a decision, but eventually Viz had settled on wintergreen tea. Eli smirked, finding that particularly fitting. Eli made his way back to the table and sat down across from the student, sliding the tea to him. Viz took it with both hands, though the steam stopped pouring off the top of it at once. He tipped the glass back and began to sip at it.
"Be careful, it's hot!" Eli warned. Viz lowered his glass.
"Don't worry, I'm okay." Viz said. Eli smiled at that and sipped his own, though he found it too hot even for him and set it aside. Viz looked up, "Eli, I want to tell you something."
"Alright, you can tell me anything." Eli smiled. Viz took a breath, hoping Eli was being honest with him about that.
"Eli, I lied to you... when I said that I needed tutoring. I set it all up just so I could see more of you." Viz started. Eli took a breath before nodding.
"I was starting to think something like that... Other than your punctuation and grammar, you're incredibly good. But me specifically?" Eli asked. Viz nodded.
"Yes. One day I was in the garden and I saw you. You were so nice to everyone; I really wanted... that too. Almost no one has ever been nice to me, just Lucas and Teddy before I met you. I've been so lonely, I wanted a friend... but I didn't know how to ask." Viz said before tears started leaking out of the corner of his eyes, "I'm so sorry I lied, please don't hate me!" Viz nearly sobbed. Eli's eyes shot wide. He moved out of his chair and around to hug Viz tight, rubbing his hands over his shoulders.
"I don't hate you Viz, don't worry, shhhhh, don't worry. It's okay. I'm touched that you went to all that effort... But you shouldn't let your grades suffer just so we can be together. I want you to do your best, and it doesn't mean we are going to stop being friends, okay?" Eli said. Viz nodded gently before he looked into Eli's eyes again.
"But that isn't everything." Viz said. Eli looked into Viz's eyes for a moment before he nodded and moved to sit in the chair right next to Viz.
"What else is there?" Eli asked. Viz trembled gently, afraid to say it, but he had come this far. He had to. He clutched Teddy tighter to him before he was brave enough.
"You know how you bust ghosts and stuff? You've seen a lot of different kinds of things, right?" Viz asked. Eli nodded.
"Yeah... a big variety." Eli said, not sure where Viz was leading.
"Have you ever seen an incubus?" Viz asked softly. Eli shook his head.
"Not yet." He replied. Viz looked down at the floor before looking back up.
"Yes you have." He said softly. As soon as the words left his mouth, Viz relaxed his powers and allowed them to manifest. The light seemed to shift and change across his forehead as if a fog was clearing, revealing two short, curved silver horns emerging form his forehead, curving up. His silver hair seemed to billow and push out of his head, sliding down over his shoulders and across his back. The hair kept lengthening until it reached his waist, hanging across his shoulders. The seemingly young man's skin paled a bit and ice crystals seemed to form on his shoulders, creating a faint, barely visible spiral pattern. As the faint frost swirled around him, Viz's ears stretched ever so slightly into almost elfin points.
Eli stood still, his eyes wide as he looked Viz over. The transformation had been impressive to say the least. His natural state was refined, elegant and amazing... Eli was transfixed by his appearance for a long moment before he realized the merits of what he was looking at. For two months he had been tutoring a timeless being designed to feed on the souls of humans like some sort of predator. More than that, as a demon, the Ghostbusters lacked the proper tools to deal with him. Experiments in New York to change the molecular state of demons had mixed results... but that was when the demon needed to be dealt with. So far Viz had not even popped up on their radar.
"It's true... You're an incubus..." Eli whispered, "But why tell me this?"
"Because I've been alone for so long... hundreds of years. Not many people can handle the idea. They'd try to kill me or they'd fall under my spell, but I wanted something more. A real friend, I mean other than Teddy of course... maybe someone to feel about me the way I feel... about them." Viz said, lifting his eyes slowly to look at Eli. Eli knew he was being hit on, he was actually being courted by a sex demon, but a lonely one?
"Please forgive my confusion, but... how is it that an incubus could... be alone for that long?" Eli asked. Viz shifted a bit on his feet. He didn't like thinking about his past.
"I'm not an ordinary incubus. They usually deal with fire or shadow, but I have power over ice... and while they use up the souls they devour, I... still have all the shards I've taken." Viz admitted. Eli's eyes widened at that.
"So you don't just feed on them?" Eli asked. Viz shook his head.
"It's more like..." He paused, trying to think of the right words, "I share them. I am nourished, they keep on living... But it works so much better if it's willing, but no one has been willing in so long. I'm really bad at romance... and talking... and math." Viz said, his shoulders slumping. Eli moved over and pulled Viz into his arms, hugging the incubus close, rubbing his back. After a moment Eli moved to kiss Viz's forehead. Viz cuddled against Eli's chest, nuzzling his face against it, inhaling Eli's scent. Eli shivered in surprise as Viz got so affectionate. His nipples hardened at once, then his cock did the same. Eli's heart raced, he shivered in pleasure and a hand reached up to caress Viz's head.
"I want to share a piece of myself with you then." Eli said. A small piece of his soul was a small price to ask to help such a kind, vulnerable being. Viz looked up with wide eyes.
"Really?" he whispered.
"Really." Eli whispered back. Viz clung to Eli again, never wanting to let go. Eli reached around the short incubus' waist and hoisted him up off the ground. Viz wrapped his legs around Eli's waist, helping support his weight. Eli moved to close the blinds and dim the lights, turning on his stereo. Soft, relaxing Celtic music began drifting into the air, comforting and melodic. Reaching the bed, Eli carefully climbed on before leaning forward, laying Viz out on the mattress. Viz's heart thumped in his chest, but he knew that Eli was willing, that they were to share. He reached his hand up into Eli's shirt and caressed his fingers across the human's stomach.
Eli shivered in delight as a cool tingling spread over his body like a thousand fingered massage. He leaned down, pressing his lips tightly to Viz'. The two began to kiss, their lips rubbing and pushing against one another. As they kissed, Eli reached down to unbutton and unzip his pants, pushing them down slowly to reveal his robin's egg blue underwear. After a long moment they broke the kiss so Eli could pull his shirt off and toss it over onto the floor before moving to help Viz with his.
As Eli stripped away the cloth covering Viz, he was surprised to see a metal bar slid through the skin an inch below his partner's belly button. It was a fascinating dermal piercing. Eli grinned and leaned down to kiss it. The heat of Eli's body passed through the metal and made Viz shiver with delight. Eli began kissing his way up Viz's naked torso, nuzzling between his nipples before again their lips met. Still, Eli's hands worked to remove the Incubus' lower garments. Not wanting to slow things down any more than they had to be, Viz moved his hand and his pants and underwear disappeared, revealing his hardening shaft.
Eli giggled into the kiss, amused by Viz's magic. He reached down and curled his fingers around the demon's shaft. Just as he had been surprised by the dermal piercing, again Eli found the unexpected, this time in the form of a little jewel piercing on his manhood. Eli was impressed, Viz truly was an incubus after all... but a very unique one for sure. Viz was getting anxious to get started but he knew one layer of fabric kept him from his goal. While Viz' magic wouldn't work on the human's underwear, his fingers would. Eli gasped as he felt his underwear tearing. He glanced down in time to see them snap. Viz threw the scrap away and blushed.
"Sorry." He apologized despite the action having been intentional, hoping Eli wouldn't be mad. Eli chuckled and resumed kissing the demon, sliding his tongue deeper into his mouth. Viz shivered in pleasure, opening up to Eli, starting to feel the Ghostbuster's essence, his energy, his soul. As they embraced, Viz ran his hands all over Eli's chest, his circles tracing circles and spirals. Eli shivered, feeling so cool and so hot at the same time. Beneath Viz's fingers there began to be a gentle sparkle of light, a dancing of energy. Every human had a different color, but the energy beneath Viz's fingers was a light blue.
Eli brought his groin down to Viz's, the two rubbing and humping gently, their shafts hardening together as they ground... but that was hardly romantic. As they kissed more and their rods became fully erect, Eli reached down and gently began to angle the incubus' hips up and back. Viz's shaft slipped down to rest across his stomach, lying across the bar as Eli guided his hips into proper position. Once more Viz felt comfortable to wrap his legs around Eli's ribs. Eli grinned at that and brought the head of his shaft to the incubus' opening.
Viz shivered in surprise. Of all the times he'd had relations with humans; it had never been that way. Normally it was kissing or sucking, something lusty... but this seemed like more, it seemed like a deeper connection. Viz looked up at Eli with large eyes, hoping wordlessly that he'd be good enough for Eli and that Eli would be gentle. Eli leaned in and kissed the tip of Viz's nose before resuming their make out session, and with that he began to push in. Viz inhaled through his nose as his muscles were pushed wide, the rod sliding into him.
It seemed like Eli slid in forever and ever before he finally came to a stop. Eli took a sharp breath himself, getting used to penetrating another man. He'd always felt a bit submissive before, but there was something about Viz that called out to him to be dominant, protective, caring and loving. Eli felt the demon's pucker tight around the base of his cock, his shaft buried deeply. Eli wriggled his hips a bit before he pulled back, though this action was made far more difficult by how tightly Viz's legs were wrapped around him. It was as if the demon was trying to draw him inside and never let him out. Eli grinned in the kiss. It made sense certainly, though it was rather adorable with such a kind incubus.
Despite the tension of the legs around him, Eli started to gently slide forward and back, filling Viz, pumping back and forth. Viz's eyes rolled into the back of his head. He'd never felt like that before... It was as if an ancient emptiness in him was being filled, filled by someone he cared about so deeply. Eli picked up the pace, filling Viz faster and harder as their lips continued to tangle. While the rhythm was getting pretty good, Eli tilted his hips and his cock began grazing the fleshy walls inside of Viz. At first the demon was shocked, but when Eli found his prostate the demons back arched and he broke the kiss, gasping out sharply in pleasure.
Eli grinned, realizing he had found his mark and he started ramming his shaft into it over and over, releasing waves of pleasure into Viz. Viz shivered, unable to control himself. He felt so good, too good. The apartment began popping and creaking as the temperature suddenly dropped. The wooden beams contracted along the ceiling, the window popped as the glass shifted. Even the tea on the dining room table iced over before freezing softly. Frost spread across the sink, then the counters, the tables and the book cases... and what had started as frost soon froze thicker, forming into a sheet of ice.
As the ice spread, color drained away from the room, everything preserved perfectly in water crystals... and every bit of humidity in the air was being converted. As Eli and Viz bound themselves together, miniscule flakes of snow began to fall from the ceiling, snowing indoors. The snow flakes landed on the floor and began to accumulate. At first the flakes falling on Eli melted and ran down his back, but soon they stopped melting and clung to his skin. Eli had barely noticed, too focused on pleasing Viz. Eli was a sexual beast it seemed.
Eli sucked on Viz's bottom lip before he broke the kiss and moved to suck on the incubus' neck, tugging on the flesh until it stung. One hand grabbed Eli's head, fingers tangling in his blond hair while the other continued to circle and tease his chest... and then, as if it had chipped off, a shard of blue energy disconnected from Eli. Viz held it in his hand like a glowing ember. With Eli working on his neck, Viz brought the energy up to his lips. He slid it past them like a precious morsel, one that danced along his tongue before it crackled and spread out like lightning across his mouth before disappearing.
Viz let out a deep moan. Eli tasted like love and kindness and nature and joy. It was the most delicious piece of soul Viz had ever tasted and he loved Eli all the more for it... But there was far more than nourishment in that piece. He and Eli had connected on a deeper level. He could hear the Ghostbuster's thoughts; he could feel what the buster felt... He could actually feel his own ass around Eli's cock from Eli's perspective as well as his own. Viz moaned out loud and Eli brought his lips back to kiss the demon.
While Eli had kept thrusting, his movements were becoming wilder, more jagged. It was obvious he wasn't going to be able to hold on much longer. Eli thrust deep, deeper, back and forth before in a final act, he thrust in one last time and held it. Viz was surprised for a moment by the change in movements, though he realized after three thousand years he should understand why. Eli took a soft breath as his balls tugged up, his cock pulsed and he began spraying his seed into Viz. Viz's back arched as he felt the intense warmth spreading inside of his body, fighting against his ice powers... but it felt amazing... So amazing that Viz couldn't hold back.
Viz's own shaft pulsed and sprayed out a faintly blue cum that splattered all over his belly, tingling against the skin as ice crystals formed in it and it thickened, almost like some kind of frozen yoghurt. Eli reached down and drew his finger through the thick cream before bringing it to his lips. He sucked it clean before moaning, lying across Viz to kiss him again. Viz wrapped his arms around Eli, holding him tight, never wanting that moment to end.
****
Heavy boots echoed on the steps of the apartment building, coupled with the jangling of proton cartridges and other equipment. Dakota and Gray had been called out on a mission but they needed backup. They had tried calling Eli numerous times but each time they got a generic error message. Something had happened to the phone lines. As they ascended, Dakota noticed his breath was starting to frost over... and the air felt a lot cooler against his bare arms.
"Gray, is it getting colder to you?" Dakota asked. Gray's eyes widened.
"Now that you mention it, yeah... It's several degrees cooler." Gray replied, "Hopefully they just left a window open somewhere." Dakota continued on his way, the two reaching Eli's floor... which had been coated in thick ice crystals and small drifts of snow piled up in the corners. Icicles hung from the lights outside the apartments. Even the house plant sitting on a night stand at the end of the hall was completely encased in ice, the dainty green leaves looking like some kind of glass sculpture.
"Gray, you have terrible luck hoping." Dakota said before he powered up his proton pack. Gray soon did the same, the pack lights glowing brightly. Dakota and Gray made it up to the door to Eli's apartment. Dakota silently counted to three before he kicked the door open. The frozen lock snapped, the hinges cracked and the door fell into the apartment, sliding across the ice. A shriek came from the bed as Viz pulled the covers up over him in terror. Eli turned around to try and explain, but Dakota could make out the very clear impression of horns sticking out against the cloth.
"Guys, it isn't what it looks like..." Eli said.
"Eli, get away from whatever that is." Dakota said.
"Kota, it isn't a threat..." Eli replied.
"You haven't seen this entire floor in the deep freeze..." Dakota said, raising his proton gun, "Eli, step away." Dakota warned, his voice severe. That was all it took for Viz's guardian to take action. Sitting at the dining room table, the stuffed polar bear had been witness to everything... To the sex, to the snow, to the intruders. It wasn't about to idly stand by and watch Viz get hurt. The stuffed animal floated into the air before charging toward the Ghostbusters, but as it flew, it also enlarged. In seconds it was the size of a real polar bear, only polar bear shaped. The big paw slashed, striking Gray.
Gray was picked up off his feet and sailed across the room, slamming into the far wall before he slumped to the ground. The bear moved to hit Dakota but Dakota dodged out of the way, rolling to the side before he opened fire. The proton blast hit the polar bear's shoulder and it let out a scream. At first it sounded like the roar of a beast, but soon it sounded exactly like Eli. It happened in an instant, no transition between the two. Standing before Dakota was a naked Eli, his shoulder burned and injured. His blue eyes welled up with tears.
"Why did you do that?!" The second Eli whimpered. The Eli on the bed had wide eyes, realizing that the polar bear had been alive the whole time. Dakota was flummoxed, looking between the two Elis. He used his left hand to fish out his PKE meter and turn it on, not lowering his weapon, but the PKE meter didn't return any significant signal. Whatever these beings were, they weren't conventional ghosts at all.
"Everyone, calm down this instant!" The Eli from the bed declared. He turned to face his doppelganger, "Teddy, go sit in the kitchen. Viz won't be hurt." He commanded. His other self hesitated, looking to the figure under the sheets before he backed up several feet, though he didn't sit. Eli looked to Dakota, "If I get up to check on Gray you have to promise not to hurt Viz, or I will tear you limb from limb. Is that understood?" Eli asked. Dakota looked surprised but then he nodded, reluctantly lowering his proton gun.
Eli slipped off of the bed and moved across the floor, hissing as his bare feet padded across the ice. He tried not to slip but he reached Gray and checked his pulse. Gray murmured groggily, his eyes fluttering open after a moment. He looked up at Eli and then around before he struggled to stand. Eli helped Gray up to his feet, though Gray was still rather dizzy. He reached for his proton blaster but Eli shook his head. Gray looked into Eli's eyes for a moment before he left it dangling where it was.
"Now can you tell me what the hell is going on here?" Dakota asked. Eli made his way back to the bed, moving to sit next to the cowering Viz.
"Viz is an incubus... a sex demon, but he isn't like any of them we've ever heard about. He doesn't eat whole souls, he collects tiny pieces and stores them. He controls ice instead of fire, and he seems in general not to be malevolent at all. All he wanted was to be safe, protected and cared for." Eli said. Dakota looked at Eli, noting that he was just as naked as the teddy bear version. It was rather clear that they had sex.
"This isn't some kind of Stockholm syndrome, is it?" Dakota asked. Eli shook his head.
"No... He told me the truth and didn't force me to do anything... I chose to share myself with him... Willingly, openly, and I'm still here. I'm not some corrupt soulless. Things are alright." Eli said.
"How do you know you can trust him? He could still be a terrible risk... We should still bust him." Dakota said. From the dining room table, Teddy Eli growled, baring his teeth.
"Dakota, we don't have the technology to bust him, either of them. They aren't ghosts, they are demons..." Gray said. Dakota shook his head.
"That isn't true. Ghostbusters have busted lots of demons, they just have to be creative about how they do it." Dakota growled. Teddy started advancing forward again before Eli held up his hand.
"Dakota. Viz isn't a threat. He is open, honest, and his existence doesn't harm people. He and Teddy are different. You aren't going to bust him, just like we don't bust ghosts of people who have passed on." Eli said. Dakota hesitated, looking at Gray. Gray was the leader after all, even if Dakota didn't like to admit it. Gray took a step forward.
"Viz... Viz, can you come out please? We need to talk to you." Gray said. The cowering demon still shivered under the blankets. Eli turned to face Viz, reaching under the covers to rest his hand on Viz's chest while the other hand pulled the sheets down. Viz had reverted to his human appearance. Even his clothes had appeared back on him. He looked up at the Ghostbusters, terrified.
"Viz, it is okay." Eli whispered.
"Viz, can you promise me that you will never feed on a human without their consent?" Gray asked. Viz nodded gently, afraid to speak. Gray took a breath, "Will you remain in your human form unless you are alone with someone who you've told the truth to?" Gray asked. Again Viz nodded.
"What if he tells someone and they freak out and ask us to bust him? We can't be seen giving favoritism..." Dakota said.
"If that happens, we'll just help Viz somewhere else... Another city or something." Eli said. Viz shook his head.
"It won't happen, I don't need to feed as often as other incubus... I just want to be loved, I want to be safe." Viz said. His voice seemed young, innocent.
"Viz, you are loved and you are safe... Here, with me." Eli said before looking at the others. "You made him give his promises, now it is your turn. Do you promise not to bust Viz unless he becomes a threat to a large population?" Eli asked.
"Yes." Gray replied before looking to Dakota. Dakota hesitated before sighing.
"Yes." He added.
"And Teddy too." Eli added.
"Oh come on..." Dakota grunted.
"As long as Teddy doesn't cause too much mischief with this shape shifting." Gray said. Eli looked at Viz. Viz looked back at Teddy. Teddy rolled his eyes before he sat down on a chair. And then, in a blink of an eye, he was a stuffed polar bear again, seeming completely lifeless.
"It looks like our deals have been struck... but you're not in a condition to do any busting. You need to figure out this arrangement and then get back to us, but we're on call." Gray said. Eli blushed gently.
"I'm sorry this came at an awkward time." Eli apologized. Dakota turned and moved out of the broken door, disappearing down the hallway.
"Stranger things have happened. Good luck." Gray said, moving out after Dakota. After moment there was silence, at least until Teddy had turned into Dakota. The guardian spirit crossed the room, picked up the broken door and pushed it back into place before he returned to a polar bear and flopped down to the floor in front of the door, keeping it up. Eli smirked and turned to hug Viz. As much as Viz felt scared, having Eli there with him made him feel safe, warm and loved. Viz relaxed, laying back against the blankets. Eli cuddled against the demon, the two lingering together, bound and connected for all time.
