In a world where every human has the capacity to unlock the animal within, the fraternity process has a rather different shape. Will young Jeremy be able to navigate the social pressures of the fraternity process, and just how will his life change?

The sound of fingers rapidly tapping on video game controllers filled the dorm room as Jeremy gazed at his screen, a grin on his face. College had been amazing. He'd been worried at first, but the system was really set up to help him. Orientation had been fantastic, his RA had been there to help out with questions about dorm life and his classes had been easier than he had expected. He had plenty of time to play games, watch TV and socialize. His only regret was that time was going so fast, but he was having fun.

Jeremy was a fairly all American boy. He stood at five eleven, had shaggy brown hair and hazel eyes. He had a fair bit of muscle, but also a fair bit of chub. The extra weight was deceptive, Jeremy had been strong his entire life. Jeremy had tried out for the sports teams when he arrived at college, but it just hadn't seemed right so he pulled back to enjoy his leisure time instead. Rounding out another week of school with a marathon of games had only confirmed his choice. He couldn't have been happier... though as the afternoon stretched into evening, a growing murmur of voices outside drew his attention.

Jeremy eventually grew curious enough to check it out. He set his controller down and moved to the window. He lived on the backside of the fourth floor of the Nivens building, a dorm that overlooked fraternity square. Nivens was an H shaped building where the center strip was for all students, but the two ends were fraternities. Another dorm set up on the other side of a strip of grass and cement was set up the same way, creating the 'square'. Jeremy had been aware of the fraternities for some time, but he'd never seen anything like the sea of people gathering in the grass below... Hundreds of students.

Jeremy grinned, moving over to his closet, slipping on his brown leather sandals before he darted out of his room, spiraling down the staircases to get to the ground floor. He emerged from the back door of the dorm and ran down the ramp before hopping over the guard rail to land in the grass, cutting a few seconds off his journey. He started cutting into the crowd, trying to get closer, but the crowd grew denser until he was wedged in between other students. While most of the sea of people were humans, there were some hybrids mixed among the crowd. It wasn't an uncommon mix for people their age. All humans had the ability to awaken to their furry state, but it took time and focus and it usually happened in the mid twenties. It took even longer to learn how to move back and forth from their human state to their animal state as 'were beings'. An elephant man noticed Jeremy wedged up against his hip and stepped aside, letting the human pass. Jeremy bowed his head in thanks, getting close enough to see what had drawn everyone.

A small stage had been set up near the east end of the square, upon which stood five individuals... An amazing werewolf in a black suit with black shirt and silver tie, an Iguana male in a polo shirt and slacks, a hog in a leather jacket, a Siberian tiger in a polo shirt, and a crow in a silver suit stood on the stage. Hanging on front of the stage was a sign bearing the five symbols for the fraternities; the wolves, the reptiles, the farm animals, the predators, and the avians. It covered almost the entire spectrum of anthros, though the swim club was an official fraternity for the aquatics. Jeremy felt soft silky scales slide against his right side and turned to see his gecko friend.

"Hey Gil, how's it hanging?" Jeremy asked, grinning. Jeremy's grin was somewhat uncommon on campus as his canine fangs were unusually long, giving him an almost menacing smile.

"By the tail." Gil replied with a smirk. He'd been one of the fortunate ones to make his transition in high school, he and Jeremy had been pretty fast friends.

"Welcome students, friends, colleagues!" The tiger's voice boomed out from the stage, drawing the attention of the crowd.

"Those of you sophomores and juniors that have been here before know what this week means, but to those freshman out there, we want to clue you in. This is pledge week..." The wolf said, his eyes scanning the crowd.

"Pledge week is a recruitment period for the fraternities. Those interested in joining the frats are encouraged to take part in the screening process... While a few of you will be asked by fraternity members personally to join. All of you are more than welcome to apply to any-" The iguana paused as the wolf on stage growled. The iguana shifted a bit, "to apply any time to our fraternity. While it's true that they are aligned along species lines for the most part, we are happy to welcome anyone into our family that wants to join." The Iguana said.

"Goes for most cases, but not the wolves." Gil smirked.

"What's up with the wolves?" Jeremy asked.

"Pack mentality. They only take wolves, and they aggressively seek out anyone that is one to make them join, or make them wish they had." Gil said, "I'm kinda glad that it's clear cut for me. Think I'll get into Omega Gex?" Gil grinned.

"It's a sure thing; they seem like the nicest so far." Jeremy grinned.

"Humans are fully welcome to pledge, but be forewarned... Pledge Week is full of activities that will bring out the animal in you. If you prefer a slower transformation, we advise you follow the steps laid out by the health center... If you want a quicker route, join any of our groups. Our traditions, our techniques and our skills have been handed down from class to class, refined over the last fifty five years. It won't be easy, but it will be good." The tiger said, his eyes scanning the crowd before he looked at the wolf standing to his side... a wolf gazing out into the crowd with a laser focus.

The tiger followed the gaze and spotted Jeremy chuckling with Gil, his fangs visible. The tiger's shoulders shifted a bit. Fangs were a rare trait for someone to develop ahead of their change. It also narrowed down their possible forms. It seemed the predators and the wolves would be in a rush to figure out what species Jeremy would become.

"Flex..." The iguana whispered, looking at the crow, "Flex!" he shouted. The crow had become distracted by a very shiny jacket one of the boys had on. He blinked and looked back out.

"This is pledge week!" He said, trying to recover. The iguana elbowed him. The crow fluttered his tail a bit, "I mean... There will be representatives at each fraternity to help with the screening process, and any disputes can be mediated at the student center. I wish the best of luck to all of you interested, thank you!" Flex said. The crowd started to break into murmurs and conversations. Some individuals started to advance towards the stage while others turned to leave, the group heading off in all directions

"You going to go up?" Jeremy asked Gil. Gil's large gecko eyes blinked in thought.

"Maybe I should offer to help take the stage down, get to know Iggy better." Gil considered, looking at the Iguana frat boy.

"That's a good plan; I think I'm going to go catch an early dinner since I'm down here already." Jeremy said, clapping Gil on the shoulder.

"You sure that's a good idea? I think... Oh, yes, here it comes." Gil said, watching the wolf leap off the stage, the tiger moving after him.

"Here what comes?" Jeremy asked in surprise.

"You're going to be recruited." Gil grinned.

"I am? Why?" Jeremy asked in surprise.

"Killer grin dude. Anyhow, I'm gonna scramble before that wolf squishes me." Gil smirked, giving Jeremy a pat on the shoulder before he navigated through the crowd. Jeremy turned, his eyes widening as the silver wolf nearly bowled through the crowd toward him. He nearly fell backward as the seven foot tall hulking beast reached him. The frat boy's black nostrils flared as he took a deep sniff of Jeremy, looking him over. The Siberian tiger reached Jeremy as well. The wolf turned his head, his black lips curling as he growled a bit.

"I got here first..." The wolf said, his amber eyes narrowing.

"Yes, and all you did was 'sniff' him... You can't decide if you want to ask him without knowing if he's going to become a wolf, so you wanted to find out." The tiger said. The wolf growled more.

"Uh, it's alright guys, I was just going to go eat some dinner, you can... do whatever you need to do with the other people here." Jeremy said sheepishly.

"What were you going to eat? Lots of meat? Raw, juicy steak perhaps? Or big hunks of beef or chicken?" The wolf asked, hoping to elicit a response.

"I was just gonna get whatever had the shortest line..." Jeremy admitted.

"You'll have to forgive Slate's forwardness... I'm Snow." The tiger said, offering his paw. Jeremy reached out and accepted it, giving it a squeeze. Not wanting to be bested, the wolf offered his paw next. Jeremy took it and shook it as well.

"Nice to meet you both, Slate, Snow. I'm Jeremy." Jeremy said.

"If you want to check out our frat at any time, see if you're interested in joining, just show up. There'll always be someone to show you around." Snow offered.

"Or you could see if you're up to life in the wolf's den... But I'll be in touch." Slate said before he turned, moving back off through the crowd. Jeremy watched him go, almost shivering.

"I honestly hope I'm not a wolf, I never want to have that sort of personality." Jeremy admitted to Snow. Snow chuckled.

"Oh, not every wolf is like that... What Iggy said is true, any frat but the wolves will accept another species, we've got a lot of wolves in Sigma Pro that think like you do, but... I don't think you're going to be a wolf." Snow said, looking Jeremy over.

"You don't?" he asked. Snow shook his head.

"It's just an educated guess; I've seen around two hundred transformations since I got to this school... I'm going to guess something a bit bigger, a predator, but bigger." Snow said. Jeremy cracked a bit of a grin.

"Really? Bigger than a wolf?" he asked in excitement. Snow smirked.

"Like I said, just a guess. Just remember, you can show up any time, no pressure." Snow said.

"I'll probably take you up on that." Jeremy smiled, pausing when he saw Gil working with Iggy to dismantle the stage. He looked back to the tiger, "Um, do you need any help taking that thing down? I could help out, we could talk more." Jeremy offered.

"That'd be great... Flex usually gets distracted by all the metal pieces." Snow smirked.

"Is that a bird thing?" Jeremy asked.

"I think that's a Flex thing, but yeah, some bird traits are stronger than others. My first boyfriend went hummingbird, BOY was he hyper..." Snow chuckled. Jeremy blushed in surprise.

"You're gay?" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah, I hope that isn't a problem." Snow said. Jeremy shook his head quickly.

"No, not at all! I just... I'm not used to people being so open." Jeremy said.

"It must be part of the animal thing.... I mean, there's no reason to hide our nature, we are what we are... Plus, I think instinctively, we're able to sense the burdens of over population and this is a quite natural response." Snow said.

"So... he was hyper?" Jeremy asked with a grin. Snow shook his head.

"Oh yeah... Indescribable." Snow chuckled, leading Jeremy through the remaining crowd back toward the stage.

The announcement of Pledge Week had a very clear effect on campus, occupying most students well into dinner time until the cafeteria was clogged with the glut right toward the end. The demand for tables had been so high that Jeremy and Gil had grazed on food in the buffet area, never bothering to sit down. They moved up toward the ice cream bin, ready to grab desert, though Gil as usual had offered to hold the bowls and let Jeremy reach into the ice cold. As a reptile, he wasn't a big fan, though it had a most amusing sensation in his mouth.

"So you stole my idea?" Gil asked with a smirk.

"Well, yeah... It really was the best way to get to know them more; though they were so popular they probably just should have sat there and taken questions for a while." Jeremy smirked.

"Then they would have missed dinner too." Gil grinned, "Oh yes, butternut spinach ice cream! They finally have it again!" He said, bouncing up and down, pointing at the orangey brown ice cream. Jeremy smirked, dishing his friend up several heaping scoops. Once Gil was content, he reached for his usual staple of strawberry, but his hand stopped. He wasn't sure why at first but his eyes had focused on the honey ice cream. Jeremy soon licked his lips before eagerly dishing himself up for that.

Gil watched Jeremy dish up with a grin, amused by the new choice. Jeremy closed the bin and stuck a spoon into the ice cream. The two moved their way out of the kitchen area, passing the tables on the left and a wall of art on the right, coming to a stop right by the corner leading to the return area. Gil and Jeremy dished into their ice cream, eating it with moans and groans of delight, not even having the time to say anything. Before long the bowls were empty and they licked the spoons of every last drop before dumping them into the return bins as they slowly moved by on a motorized carrousel.

"So what are you going to do next?" Gil asked.

"I think my first stop is the bathroom, then more games." Jeremy said.

"That sounds awesome! I think I'm going to go read a chapter for sociology and then I'll come over, that way I'll have half my homework done for the weekend." Gil said.

"Half your homework is reading one chapter? You lucky gecko." Jeremy smirked.

"Hey, what can I say?" Gil shrugged with a grin, "Check ya later dude!" he said before moving off. Jeremy turned the corner, walking past the last group of tables. He didn't notice, but deep amber eyes watched him pass before Slate rose to his feet. Jeremy moved into the bathroom, heading over to the urinal. He unzipped his pants and relieved himself, not taking too long before he zipped up and turned, jumping in shock as he saw Slate there.

"Have you noticed any symptoms yet? Any trends?" Slate asked. Jeremy blushed furiously.

"I don't think this is the best place to talk about this..." Jeremy said hesitantly.

"If you are a wolf, you won't be able to imagine how wonderful we can make life for you... It's deeper than a fraternity, it's a pack... A pack for life." Slate said.

"And if I'm not, if I'm something else? A lion, a tiger, a bear? You wouldn't want me, isn't that right?" Jeremy asked.

"There are a few that believe you can guide your spirit animal..." Slate said, "I think you're worth giving that a try." Slate responded. Jeremy rolled his eyes.

"I really hope I'm not a wolf. I can't stand that sort of racism... You need to pull your muzzle out of your ass and realize we're part of one globe. I think all the other frats have it right. Now, if you'll excuse me." Jeremy said, puffing up his chest before he strode past Slate and out of the bathroom, moving out of the cafeteria as a whole. His heart was racing, but it felt good to stand up to the wolf... Maybe he was going to be some sort of predator after all... And if that was the case, it was time to go see Snow, after giving Gil a call to finish the rest of his homework.

Jeremy fumbled for the door to his room, managing to get a good hold of it after his first three attempts. He eased the door open and stumbled in before pausing, realizing all the lights were out but his roommate's desk lamp. He cringed a bit, realizing what he had just stumbled into. Sitting on the other side of the room was his roommate, Clay. While Jeremy had been the all American comic boy, Clay was the all American sports hero. He'd been star quarter back and wrestling captain in high school before making it to college on a full ride scholarship... Though he had since lost several scholarships as he was replaced on the teams by more capable hybrids. The glare coming from Clay in Jeremy's direction was many fold. He'd come in late, noisily, and drunk... Three things Clay couldn't stand, especially the last. Clay's black eyebrows were low, his blue eyes cutting through Jeremy.

"You're under age, you shouldn't be drinking..." Clay chastised.

"Well, to be fair, I handled it way better than mosta the other guys there..." Jeremy said. Clay grimaced a bit. His wrath was tainted by curiosity. The only reason he was so hard on the alcohol was that he couldn't partake, or risk losing his place on the other teams he was part of.

"How many did you have?" Clay asked, hoping his question would be part of diligent roommate concern rather than envy.

"I stopped counting at eight." Jeremy said. Clay's eyes went wide.

"EIGHT?!" he exclaimed, springing from his chair. His muscled body moved like a well oiled machine as he pulled out part of his stock of bottled water, vitamins and supplements. He handed them to Jeremy. Jeremy looked down at the water curiously.

"But I already had plenty to drink." He murmured. Clay rolled his eyes.

"You need to hydrate as much as you can or you're going to wake up with a killer hangover." Clay said. Jeremy opened the water and lifted it up, almost taking a sip before he lowered it.

"But Snow said that most of the guys in Sigma Pro have a really good tolerance, and that their bodies naturally regulate..." Jeremy said. Clay grimaced at the mention of the fraternity.

"What were you doing talking to those guys? They aren't any good... That whole frat system is a joke." Clay said, his strong muscles sagging a bit. Almost the entire team was from Alpha Omega or Sigma Pro... Wolves, foxes, lions, tigers... Every day that went on, there were less humans on the team... whether because they turned or because they were replaced... It was a bitter subject for Clay.

"Well I have to talk to them if I'm going to join their frat, I'm... I'm like a chosen one." Jeremy grinned. Once more Clay looked rather hurt. He lifted the bottle to remind Jeremy to drink, making sure he took several good swallows before leading him to bed.

"You just wait until you wake up and realize what they got you into, then you'll realize they don't have your best interest at heart..." Clay said, giving Jeremy the pills and then the water to swallow. Jeremy accepted the help a bit before he climbed into bed and pulled his covers over himself.

"I feel like I could hibernate for a month." He murmured.

"That'll be how long it takes you to get over that hangover..." Clay muttered, moving to turn off his desk light. As the room was plunged into darkness, he gazed through the shadowy abyss to where his roommate was before he sighed and took off everything but his boxers, climbing into bed as well,

Pledge Week had been going rather well for Jeremy. He was an early favorite for Sigma Pro, both by the frat brothers and the other pledges. Those interested in joining had broken down into groups and each prospect had decided on a group leader. Generally, it tended to be the most fully transformed of the group. Jeremy had made good friends with Jace, the jaguar freshman that had transformed in the middle of an orientation seminar. While much of Pledge Week had been pizza, soda and beer to promote socialization and meeting the other members, there had also been a lot of work.

The groups had studied the frat charter, its history, the evolution of the pledges and oaths over the years, as well as those they'd have to recite if they were selected. They had even practiced drawing the fraternity crest, the symbol emblazoned on the pins those initiates would get. Sigma Pro's crest was a taloned paw gripping a sword in front of a blue background. The size of the sword and the paw had changed over the year, even switching from a wolf paw to a tiger paw, but the general theme had always been the same.

A few of the prospies had burned out with the addition of even more information to learn, but that had only made it easier for Jeremy and Jace. Jeremy had to admit, he had anticipated some hazing, but he had realized they weren't members yet, they were just potentials. The true tests were coming up... The paper test, he was fairly certain he could master, but the hunting test... Jeremy lifted his head, looking around the trophy room. Sigma Pro was full of the predators, all the species that were good at hunting... And it wasn't just based on their genes, there was an active involvement, a tradition of hunting that persisted to this day. When humanity had started to transform, the laws had been changed to be more liberal with their allowances to hunting, but it hadn't gotten easier... If anything, the predators faced more of a challenge than ever.

On rare occasion, a transformation went wrong. Rather than becoming an Anthro that could one day learn to revert as a were, the animal would get complete control. Their entire humanity would be lost, leaving a giant creature in its place. They had no higher reasoning and were feral... The lost ones roamed the woods as home and preyed on anthro and human just as much as fuzzy forest dweller. It was a huge risk, but one all the prospective members of the frat had to face. Jeremy looked around the room, trying to decide what he'd do for his special tool.... It was all so challenging.

"What are you going to use, Jace?" Jeremy asked after a long moment. Jace chuckled, bearing his fangs.

"What god gave me; my feet, my claws and my teeth." Jace smirked, looking at Jeremy. "What are you going to use?" he asked back. Jeremy considered.

"I dunnow, what did god give me? Fire? A club? An iPhone?" Jeremy smirked. Jace stuck out his rough feline tongue before the two went back to their reading, struggling to get all of it down before bed.

The great forest was not a place for the faint hearted. The national preserve was immense, stretching so far that it crossed six state lines.... Full of animals, nature and lost ones. It was the most rigorous test of any fraternity, though there were safeguards in place. Many frat brothers had come with the prospies, armed with tranquilizer guns in case a prospie got in over their head. Each frat brother had elected to watch over a prospie, though they would not give tips or advice, only protection and oversight. Everything the prospie did was to be judged, from their ability too follow a trail to navigation to survival and the treatment of the animals.

Jeremy had gotten a clear idea early on that he was somehow special, but nothing had confirmed that fact more than Snow walking behind him, a tranq gun at the ready. Jeremy was both amused and nervous. He'd tried to make small talk but Snow had reminded him that he was only there to judge, not to pal around. Jeremy had shut up, though he still was caught grinning from time to time. Something about a Siberian tiger in forest camouflage and a neon orange hat was just too contradictory for words.

Jeremy had been a bit loud and abrasive at the forest perimeter, but his skills had started to pick up as they moved deeper into the woods. Dan had made great progress through the trees and near the cave system, but was they approached the river, he paused. Something was tugging at his mind, the sound of the rushing water, the wide river bed, the.... Fish jumping up stream. Jeremy slowly licked his lips, watching the pink salmon flopping about, beating themselves up on the rocks, practically tenderizing themselves. Jeremy shuddered more and more as he started to move towards the water, drawn by an instinct rooted so deeply inside himself that he couldn't stop.

Snow followed after Jeremy, his ears perking as he realized what Jeremy was after. This was a good sign in a way, many prospies found their true selves on the hunt... Though it certainly was dangerous. Getting distracted in such a situation could be highly hazardous. Jeremy went tromping out of the trees and onto the stones that lined the river, his heart thumping as he saw the salmon, but something stopped him. He came to a stop and sniffed the air before turning, looking at the greenery near the river line, then he turned and looked in the other direction. Snow was surprised that Jeremy had picked up on it so fast, there was something wrong... There was the scent of a lost one in the air. Snow turned and started moving toward the bushes, his gun at the ready. As much importance as hunting had, they still were responsible for the safety of the prospies. Snow moved toward the bush, his tail flicking, his claws extending, his eyes focusing... and then he fired a dart into the bush, striking nothing. Snow hesitated before he advanced, moving toward the edge of the shrubs, using his gun barrel to push back the leaves.

What Snow revealed was not a lost one, but a lost one's nest... From the looks of it, some simian of some sort... and then Snow realized his mistake. A screech came from above as a huge ape descended, kicking Snow in the chest. The tiger toppled back, falling to the stones only to have an ape land on his chest before hitting him across the face. He let out a roar but the simian clubbed him with a first, dazing him heavily. The ape looked up to see Jeremy before it charged, its paws scrambling across the stones. Jeremy looked at the charging ape, but rather than running... He stretched his back, spread his shoulders wide and let out a deep growl before he charged at the Ape. The two clattered together, coming to a stand still.

Hands grasped and slapped and clawed at one another, the two grappling. Jeremy felt almost like he was in one of Clay's wrestling matches. Jeremy's muscles throbbed, his hands gripping ape flesh tightly. The ape gnashed his teeth and tried to get at Jeremy, but every move was countered. Jeremy took a step, forcing the ape back a little more unsteadily, both trying for their feat of strength. Adrenaline coursed through Jeremy's body, his anger built, his muscles tingled. Hot breath snorted through his nose... and then he felt the most amazing sensation, a great pleasure, a power and a pride moving through his body.

The changes were quite definitive as they took hold. Jeremy's shirt grew tighter around his chest as his pecs expanded. While the fat hugging his stomach didn't go away, the muscle beneath began to harden and grow, forming a sort of muscle guy akin to a beer keg. His sleeves grew tight, digging into his expanding biceps and triceps while his boots became too small for his feet as they filled out. The muscle growth was impressive, but it was nothing compared to the changes moving through his spine. Jeremy's back stretched, his neck elongated and his arms grew. Even as he wrestled the ape, he was getting stronger... and more manly.

Snow shuddered as he came to again, moving to get back up, reaching for his gun. He brought it up and tried to aim it for the ape, but Jeremy was in the way... and holding his own. Snow was quite impressed, looking at how much Jeremy had grown. His arms were hairier, his muscles were thick, he was taller... and as the Ape and Jeremy turned, the changes were advancing more and more. Soft wispy hairs covered Jeremy's upper lip and cheeks, stretching along his jaw before growing out into a soft beard... At first it was only an inch long, but the beard grew thicker, bushy like a lumberjack's before it grew longer, heading down from his face.

Jeremy growled at the ape as his teeth grew sharper and his fingernails grew out, narrowing slowly into tips and curving a bit, forming claws. Jeremy let out a deep bellowing roar as his chest inflated again, feeling a burning ache in his throat before his voice cracked and deepened, then deepened again. The saliva flecking out from his fanged mouth and his deep roar seemed to be just enough for the Ape to let go and scramble along the beach before disappearing into the trees. Jeremy took several strides after it before he opened his mouth wide again and let out a roar so masterful that birds took off from the trees. Once Jeremy was sure the threat was gone, he turned to make sure Snow was okay. The bearded prospie was surprised to see Snow on his feet again, and even more surprised when Snow started to clap his paws together.

"Fantastic job... Just fantastic." Snow said, truly proud. Jeremy was surprised; all he'd done was make sure they'd be safe. He reached up to scratch his cheek but paused when he saw how big his hand was... and the hairy wrists and arms... He looked at his other hand and then his arms, looking back to Snow in shock. Snow moved over, putting his arm around Jeremy's shoulder.

"Welcome to phase one of your change... And I'm pretty sure you passed your test." Snow said with a grin. Jeremy shook his head.

"Not yet, not until I have myself some salmon." Jeremy said. Snow grinned slowly.

"You know what that means, don't you??" Snow asked. Jeremy chuckled.

"I have a pretty good idea, but look at this new body. I'm already a bear, just not the animal kind." He smirked.

"Not yet anyway." Snow replied.

****

The door to Jeremy's room swung open as he strode back in, still feeling the pride of his triumph in the forest. The adrenaline coursing through his veins was like a drug and he was enjoying the ride. He kicked the door shut and turned to face the mirror, his lips parting to reveal a fang filled grin as he growled in pleasure, running his hands up to trail his fingers through his beard, feeling the thick bushy curls, the manly thickness. His hands moved down his neck, following the new bands of muscles there.

Soon Jeremy's hands ran into his shirt, an unwelcome distraction. He started to try and take it off, but the thing was so tight that Jeremy gave into his instincts. He grabbed on and tore the fabric apart like a wild man, his thick furry chest exposed. Jeremy threw his shirt to the side, running his fingers through his chest fur, teasing his nipples, then following the trail across his swollen stomach. It was particularly rounded, but still strong. Still, the trail continued past his stomach and into his pants tantalizingly.

A soft growl escaped his lips as he reached to unbutton and unzip his pants. They sagged down to his ankles, revealing beastly hairy legs... but his underwear were still in the way, that and they were cutting into his legs. Jeremy grabbed a hold of them and tore them apart, freeing his package in a display of strength... and what a display it was. Jeremy's jaw dropped as he saw his package and truly how marvelous it was. He'd been half hard the entire way home, but even before blood rushed to it fully, he was already double what his length had been hard before.

Jeremy brought his hand down to his shaft, his fingers curling around his length before he started to stroke his member up and down, feeling just how long it was... It was alien to him, but it was all his, and more sensitive then ever. Jeremy grunted hard, stroking his meat off, gasping as he realized how soft it was. It had been deceptive in its length, in its girth... as thick as a hot sauce bottle, but it was expanding as he stroked it, stretching to impossible, even absurd lengths. Jeremy panted hard as it hardened, stretching past a foot, then fourteen inches, then sixteen. The mushroom shaped head was as soon as wide as a can of soda.

The bearded man gazed at his shaft, realizing how truly pendulous it was. No doubt it would swing back and forth under its own weight... In fact, it was so heavy that even fully erect it hung down, too heavy for its own good. Jeremy growled in bliss at that before he shuddered. His monstrous cock began to pulse and leak thick precum, drizzling it into the carpet. Jeremy didn't care, he felt fantastic, as if he had truly found his calling in life. Wanting to feel more of his seed factories, his hands moved to grip and fondle his balls, realizing they had grown larger as well. His sack hung low, full of golf ball sized balls that engorged with impressive speed, new sperm making facilities filling in quickly.

His balls soon expanded to the size of lemons, rounding out more and more, stretching his sack to immense proportions before he was hung as well as a horse. Thick, softball sized balls filled his sack, sending an impressive stream of cum to his shaft, a shaft that was almost all of the way to his knees. Jeremy let go of his balls and grabbed his cock with both hands, hoisting up the thick bat of meat before he licked his lips and jerked off hard. His hands were blurs on his cock before his head tipped back, his eyes squeezed shut and he howled, unleashing his load over his dresser in a messy shower of musky pride. Jeremy felt like a true predator, marking his territory.

The celebration dinner had gone late into the night, Sigma Pro exploding out onto their corner of fraternity square. They'd brought in every spare barbecue they could get their hands on for the bounty of the hunt. While the prospies had been drenched in praise for the hunt, it was the rest of the frat that benefitted from their catches. Salmon, rabbits, small birds and even a wild turkey had all been prepared, a feast for the predators. Soda and beer had been plentiful, bromance had been all around... but as the hours ticked by closer to dawn, the party had broken up more and more until only a few were left. In the end, few were sober enough to roam around, picking up garbage, trying to prevent negative fallout from the university administration the next day. Jeremy moved across the grass with a beer in one hand and a bag of trash in the other, skidding to a stop when he almost ran over Jace in the darkness. Jace held up his hands in apology before realizing who it was.

"Jeremy, what are you still doing up man, you should be sleeping like a king after all of that." Jace grinned. Jeremy hesitated, wondering if he should share the true reason he was still up.

"My roommate... really wasn't pleased when I came back from the hunt to change. He saw me like this and..." Jeremy paused.

"Thought you were a sexy hunk of man flesh and combed his fingers through your beard?" Jace asked. He knew that wasn't where Jeremy was heading, but he wanted to diffuse some of the tension before it got too bad. Jeremy gave a light chuckle before he sighed.

"He said it was unnatural, that it was wrong, that I'd cheated life in a way." Jeremy said. Jace's eyebrows shot up before he put a paw around Jeremy's shoulder.

"That's humanist bullshit, man... I mean, everyone has the capacity to become an animal, and to learn how to switch back... It just sounds to be like he's jealous." Jace said.

"I know, and I think you may be right. I mean, even my change didn't set him off as much as finding out that the frat had come after me rather than me going to it. I think... he... wishes he had been invited." Jeremy said, groaning, "But it's the middle of the night and he's furious at me and I just don't want to face it." Jeremy admitted.

"Well you can't stay out here all night; you need some place to crash... You can crash at my dorm or we can try the lounge room at the frat." Jace offered.

"You roommate won't mind?" Jeremy asked, making his decision clear. Jace smirked.

"My only roommate is a couch, I have a single." Jace said. Jeremy grinned.

"You sprung extra for that?" he asked in surprise.

"Oh yeah, I wasn't going to miss the change to live my life to the fullest, shag whoever I want to shag, help a bro in distress." Jace smirked, "Come on, let's dump this trash and head back." Jace said. Jeremy nodded with a smile before he started heading toward the nearest trashcan, passing a buffalo and a coyote that were both munching away on food from the party.

Pledge week had ended with the awarding of pins to the prospies chosen to join Sigma Pro. The pin was the crest of the paw and the sword, and the initiates had to wear the pin at all times, never to be caught without it. They had passed the tests, they had been accepted... and then the day for the final ceremony had come. The initiates had gathered in the lounge room of Sigma Pro. The furniture had been cleared out, plants had been brought in, and a table had been set up with various herbs, plants, and bits of meat in pre-cut pieces. They had all taken an oath as a group, then a second oath as individuals, one by one.

Jeremy had watched with great pride as Jace took the oath and became a full member, a frat brother. He had consumed the leaves of the forest wrapped around a piece of raw meat, though for him it was purely symbolic. The initiate ahead of Jeremy had bitten into the meat only to have his last change trigger, his blond beard flowing out into a full mane, his paws stretching large, a tail shooting out of his pants. He stood over in the corner, running his paws over his new body, chuffing away.... And Jeremy knew he was next.

"Jeremy." Snow said, standing in a leather loin cloth, summoning Jeremy forward. He did as he was told and moved forward, kneeling onto a pillow before the tiger.

"I, Jeremy Reynolds, promise to walk in the path of the predator, to travel between the sun and moon as master of these lands... To embrace the beliefs into my heart and to be one over nature. I will travel down wind, down stream and across the Earth, using wisdom as my most precious tool. I accept the bonds of brotherhood this fraternity offers, to join this family and make it stronger through h the bonding. I am Sigma Pro, I am brother, I am hunter..." Jeremy recited. Snow wrapped the leaves around the raw piece of meat and brought it forward.

Jeremy's lips opened obediently even though he was scared. He felt the fuzzy leaf rest on his tongue before he bit down. His teeth cut through the leaf like tissue paper before cutting into the meat. He tasted the juices gush out across his tongue... and the sensation exploded in his mind. His saliva poured, his heart raced and his body tingled. His lips tensed into his grin, but slowly something started to change. His upper lip began to split up the middle, the two sides rounding a bit, making his face far more animalistic. His nostrils flared, his nose becoming rubbery before it tilted up, the underside becoming the front. Jeremy continued to chew and then swallowed as his lower jaw pushed forward, giving him an under bite for a moment before the rest of his face expanded to keep up. His muzzle stopped a few inches from his face, wider than a canine's, especially at the base. His lips were touch, his nose firm... It wasn't the muzzle of a wolf; it was the muzzle of a bear.

The beard Jeremy had grown softened, taking on a more fur like texture before it spread all the way up to his lips and across his cheeks, the fur spreading over his nose and then around his eyes, blending into the shaggy hair on his head. Jeremy's ears rounded and grew fuzzy, his neck bloated and the fur descended... but it wasn't just moving from his face. The hair on his arms had grown thick and soft, dense enough to hide the flesh on his arms. It spread over them, then over his shoulders and to his chest... a chest that was growing even larger. His shirt was tight with muscle and it began to tear around the neck, the splitting fabric revealing a huge mantle of hair covered shoulder behind him.

Jeremy hunched over forward, panting and huffing, his hands bracing on the carpet... but that was when Jeremy saw even those body parts changing. His hands lifted off of the floor despite him putting all his weight on them. The reason was that his fingertips and palms had swelled into paw pads, ones that got bigger by the moment. His fingernails turned from white to brown, the claws thickening before sinking into his fingers, flesh growing over the top to seal them in. His furry arms began to change again, the fur covering his wrists, the back of his hands, his fingers and then between his paw pads.

The changing human grunted more and more as his shirt split open down the front, revealing his furry chest and stomach. His abs were nowhere to be seen, dominated by the thick muscle gut that had only grown larger. Every part of Jeremy was growing larger in front of the others. They were seeing his second birth, his awakening, the start to his brand new life... and it filled him with great pride. Jeremy was glad that all initiates had to take off their shoes, as he felt his feet surge in length and width, he knew he would have obliterated them. His toes curled and his toenails honed into sharper claws, pads forming across his feet as well before the fur of his legs swept down across his paws.

The frat brothers had seen many treansformations in their time, but every one was surprising and amazing in its own way. In Jeremy's case, that surprised came from how constantly he was growing. Several minutes had passed, but still he changed. His spine lengthened, his legs lengthened, his ribs separated, his chest cavity enlarged, even his skill seemed to grow. Jeremy was a behemoth, a fur covered behemoth... and then his pants tore, revealing two huge furry ass cheeks and a wiggling little bear tail. The nub was strong and dexterous for how small it was.

Jeremy's body had changed completely, but now the animal instincts were taking root in his brain. He was starting to see his entire life differently, how it had all led up to that moment; his love of sleep, of fish, of honey... His charging of the lost one, how he could be docile and he could be angry... He was a king of beasts, bable to hhunt and to forage, able to do whatever it took to survive. He was male, he was sigma pro... His life all clicked into place. It all made sense. He was who he was... Jeremy suddenly reared back and stood. His legs extended, his back stretched to its maximum height and Jeremy stood at almost seven and a half feet tall, as wide and bulky as a bear.

"Speak now to us your new name." Snow said, looking up at Jeremy. As with any birth, it was time to give the new existence a name... That went for rebirths as well, and every human had such a ceremony in their life once they changed.

"I am..." Jeremy paused, trying to get used to his deep voice. His mind churned for an idea before one bubbled up, "Gero." He said.

Snow grinned and moved to five the bear a hug. Gero wrapped his arms around Snow and hoisted him off his paws with the hug before setting him back down. Gero glanced around before he moved out of the way to let the next initiate take their oath, though as he moved to stand next to Jace, he gave the jaguar a high five so powerful he nearly knocked him off his feet. It was an amazing day.

Fraternity square had seldom been as busy as moving day when all the new members had taken their possessions from their old dorms and moved them into the frat buildings. The grass was full of debris fallen from the hasty move, but as the sun set, the process was nearly complete. All five frats were humming with the energy and excitement of the new members settling in, though some had wandered out to the square to get some air, to get their bearings on things. Gil strode along the path, his feet gripping the cement expertly well. He paused, seeing a large bear sitting in the grass. A grin covered his face before he ran over and crawled up Gero's furry back.

"How ya doin buddy?" Gil asked with a grin, putting one gecko paw on Gero's muzzle affectionately. Gero smirked, reaching up to pat the lizard's head.

"I'm fine, how was your initiation?" Gero asked. Gil crawled around to sit by Gil's hip, realizing that Gero had been writing a letter when he came up.

"It was really good. We had a great feast and lounged under some heat lamps and then some of us went for a swim and the others went on a hike. It was really good... And my new room is great, the furniture is shaped like big boulders." Gil smirked, "Whatcha up to?" he asked finally. Gero paused for a moment.

"I'm writing a letter to Clay. He wasn't there when I moved out; I think he didn't want to face it, or me." Gero admitted.

"So are you writing him a good bye letter?" Gil asked. Gero shook his head.

"Actually, it is an invitation to join the fraternity whenever he's ready. I got permission from Snow." Gero said. Gil grinned softly.

"That's a nice gesture after everything he's gone through... Do you think he'll accept?" Gil asked.

"I don't know... He's a nice guy, but he's been through a lot. I tried to explain that the Frat can help, I mean just getting out there and hunting started the change in me..." Gero said.

"Yeah, I remember the first time I changed..." Gil said, leaning against the bear, "I was rock climbing and my gloves got all nasty so I took them off... and started climbing with my own hands... and they became paws..." Gil said, flipping his hand over. His unusual fingers were almost ribbed on the bottom, the texture useful for climbing vertical smooth surfaces.

"We just have to find out what Clay is good at... What his true species is. Whatever it is, it either isn't activated by sports, or he hasn't had enough of a chance. I just... want to help him, he was so nice to me before... I changed." Gero said.

"You still want to help me?" Clay's voice came from behind. Gero spun around in surprise, nearly launching Gil.. Gero gazed up at Clay before he rose to his feet. Clay's eyes widened as he saw how tall his roommate had gotten.

"I didn't expect to see you..." Gero said softly. Clay shifted a bit on one foot.

"I realized I was being Petty about everything... You were moving out, I didn't want things to just... end with no closure." Clay said.

"It doesn't have to end at all... You can join the frat, they can help awaken you." Gero said earnestly. Clay took a breath.

"I think the reason I've had such a hard time with this is that..." he paused, "When I was young, I was always the over-prepared one, ready for anything. Since coming to college, I feel like I'm behind. I haven't had any trait awaken, I haven't had any skill jump out at me. I was hoping I'd start to change before I joined a frat, so it'd be a clearer choice, a clearer direction... I mean... you even had your fangs..." Clay said softly.

"Then it's settled, I know just what to do." Gero smiled.

"You do?" Gil asked. Gero shot him a look before looking back at Clay.

"We're going to take you on a world wind tour of activities... Biking, fishing, hiking, swimming, napping parachuting, hunting, and feasting." Gero said.

"Did you say we?" Gil asked.

"Did you say napping?" Clay added.

"Yes, we... That's a lot to plan, and yes, napping. That's a lot to do. A bear has to get his beauty sleep from time to time." Gero grinned, "But by doing all that, it should trigger something... And if the change starts, you won't have any reason not to join the frat... And we can be roommates again!" Gero grinned.

"I still don't like the segregation of the frats..." Clay said, "But I still really like your plan... It'd help me find my true self... and it'd let all three of us hang out without having to worry about oaths or pledges or whatever bullshit you had to do." Clay grinned. Gero grimaced before shrugging.

"Well, I can't win everyone over... but I'm still happy to help out a friend." Gero smirked.

"So what's first on this big itinerary of ours?" Gil asked dubiously.

"Dinner." Gero replied.

"Ice cream!" Gil exclaimed happily.

"I could go for some ice cream." Clay considered. Gero handed him the incomplete letter he had been writing.

"Alright, let's go." Gero said with a smile, walking with his two friends out of the fraternity square and off towards the cafeteria.
