#2 of Poke-Treat 2

Well, here it is. A little later than I originally intended, but work has me stressed out and I deal with stress by sleeping... so yeah, haven't typed as much as I normaly do. Anywho, it's here now. And if you haven't noticed already, most of the beginning of this Arc will belong to Lisa. But don't worry, as any Pokemon goes through that lovely estrus sooner or later ;)

(c) to the respective owners.

Jason and Champ had just got done placing the flat screen against the outer wall in a room that they hoped would be suitable for the satellite dish connection. A knock is what stopped the two from arguing about the final position, they turned to see a technician with a gray and black Lucario male standing next to him.

"Oh, uh, hi. We were just..."

"Fighting over the TV, we heard. Let's get to work Tom." The Tech said to the Lucario.

Immediately the Lucario jumped into action as he dug a handheld device from the utility belt he wore and then climbed through the small port that was the window. A moment later, the Tech slid a small box through then a drill with a small white box attached to it. While Tom was busy doing the hard part, his partner set the wire down for the main junction.

"Right, any other rooms?"

"No, just this one."

"Good, because Tom says there's hardly any room to climb around where he's at."

"As long as he's careful, I'm happy."

Champ leaned in close to Jason to whisper into his ear. "This guy seems to be an ass."

"I heard that, ya know, and yes, I can be an ass when on site." The Tech glared at Champ until the Fire Dragon apologized.

The next hour passed in silence as the Tech team worked. Once all was set up, the Tech handed an invoice to Jason, which showed the labor process and the nullified installment fee. Jason thanked them then escorted them back down. Before the work team left, Tom bowed and apologized for his partner's behavior. Jason did likewise.

They parted afterward; Jason went back inside and scrounged around for a towel. Once he found one, he went outside to the pond that Arceus formed and stripped down bare. He then shifted to his Guardian form and gently waded into the water to a comfortable spot to sit and meditate.

He put himself into a symmetrical position and started to breathe deep. He hoped that the Voice would tell him why he had to go to this very spot soon. He had a war to prepare for instead of meditating on it. When all went silent around him, he felt centered; he could 'see' the water current spin and shift the slit below its surface. That is when he felt a void; he could not fully understand what he felt. All he knew is that it felt of pure darkness.

A young female voice shrieked as a splash sounded immediately after. Jason opened his eyes and relaxed his meditative pose.

"Are you alright?" Jason asked the female as she rose to the surface.

"Depends on the definition." The creature turned to the multi-typed turtle. "I take it you are Jason?"

"We've taken to calling this form Shingeno," Jason focused a little harder on the Pokèmon. "You seem a little docile compared to the other Darkrai I have faced... and smaller."

"That would be my father... a brainwashed slave. I'm only small because that... that thing devoured my twin after our creation."

Jason kept silent and looked at her.

"My Cresselia... my would-be battle love. Without him, I am weak and cannot create the next Darkrai/Cresselia duo."

"So, the entire bloodline is inbred?"

"We are not a sexual species. We 'breed' by using neutral dreams we create during our battles within the minds of our, um, victims."

"Makes sense considering you two are the Dream Duo. But why are you here?"

"To live. I don't want to become a snack for my father at the whim of the Darkness."

"So... he's not our true enemy?"

"Someone of pure hate is. This thing I have no memory of, not even blood memory. This thing is ancient even beyond our kind, perhaps older than Arceus."

"An Unnamed? Great." The turtle sighed and flexed a little. "It's not going to be safe here for you considering what your father has done to us."

He wave his claws over the water, the surface rippled and revealed a reflection of Lisa.

"Go to her; tell her that I sent you. I am sure she will offer to use a Pokèball on you, I would take the offer."

"Thank you for listening. I will try to answer any questions you may have for me in the future."

After nodding, he went back into his meditative pose. She went back through the shadows and sought out Lisa.

The annoying Mienshao, Ricardo, came wading over to him and sat down. Shingeno growled lightly as he broke his meditation once more. He glared at the unflinching cat. When he realized the cat was going to remain silent, he returned to his meditative stance. He caught the scent of blood coming from the cat. With the minor Aura ability he could access, he looked Ricardo over. The smaller Pokèmon had busted his knuckles against something in frustration then found him.

The turtle rose then tapped on the cat's head; "Come on, let's go train."

The Mienshao just looked up at the Guardian; one eye was slightly bruised. "I've had enough training for a while. Ditch tried to punch me through the wall. Apparently, I am not the Fighting type I am supposed to be."

"He's just stronger and he has the power advantage. So..."

"I guess." Ricardo stood.

The two slowly moved from the water to a clearing closer to the tree. Shingeno smiled, he could stand the male when he was this solemn. The feline was the first to crouch down to a fighting stance. The turtle grinned and raised its stubby arms. The cannon above its shoulders retracted into the shell and the protective slit closed. With a silent agreement, the Mienshao raced to close the gap.

The Fighting type jumped and readied a powerful strike; the turtle slid under the attack and arose to face the opponent as he landed. With a quick motion, the turtle beckoned the cat to attack again. Again, the turtle dodged as the cat went high for a strike. The Mienshao hissed as his anger rose then attacked once more. Instead of dodging, the turtle grabbed the kicking foot from the air and slammed the cat into the ground.

"I see your problem; you have relied on a Trainer all your life. I forget that is why you came to attach yourself to me. Ignore the mind. Let the body flow instead."

"What do you mean: attached?"

"I am Jason... evolved. I can switch back to my self at any time."

"Hmm." Ricardo rolled and forced himself to his paws then readied another attack. "Right, it makes sense. Especially since Jason disappears every time you come out to play."

The Mienshao suddenly tossed an Aura Sphere. Shingeno could not dodge so he was forced to take the blow, though he attempted to block it. Dust exploded up around the turtle then out of the cloud, a ball of rock shot out at the cat. Ricardo easily rolled away, the ball dug its way into the grass beside him. He stood and stared at the dissipating cloud, his opponent vanished with it. He looked around the area not thinking to look up until the large shadow engulfed him.

Ricardo gulped as he looked up to see the brown shell coming at him quickly. His feet refused to move at his command; he stumbled as he tried to move. He screamed as the heavy weight slammed into him making his body crumple. The turtle quickly rolled and looked at the unmoving opponent. He sighed and shifted back to his human form and dressed, and then he gently picked the Mienshao up and carried him to Morning Glory's freshly opened office.

After he dropped the male off, Jason went to find the eldest of his team, Miguel. The Scizor, Jason knew, helped manage the production of the clothing that helped pay for the operations of the growing army. As he walked into the production room where a hundred Weedles quietly spun clothes from their silk. Most had nothing better to do while they waited for their time to cast their cocoons. Next to the wandering red Steel Bug type, was the young Zorua who questioned his elder quietly as they inspected the products.

Jason quietly approached them and joined their walk.

He asked the bug about the business, the response was pleasing. Upon hearing the news that the quota would be met only a day late, having fifty out with an infection that affected their production of silk hurt them only slightly. An offer for business suits was thrown out at him, Jason thought about it for a few seconds and allowed them to try it out. He left with a smile and made an effort to make a trip around the Elder Tree to visit the training warriors.

The morning sun woke the three Trainers up, even though they spent half of night up watching the meteor shower. Lisa and her mate were up even later as she demanded a need of her own to be dealt with, which was completed quietly. After the two mated in her tent, they had fallen asleep. Lisa was the first to awaken finding her mate still laying against her and holding her tightly.

She smiled as she flexed her tail against his sheath, which was rewarded with a quiet moan. She grabbed his ball from her nearby belt and whispered the Recall command, which quickly sent him into his ball. She rose then dressed. The sound of fire crackling made her muzzle twitch, but she overruled her instincts to flee with the common sense of a Trainer.

"Morning, Lisa," Macy motioned her over. "Breakfast is ready. Did you two enjoy last night?" The girl winked at her fellow Trainer.

"Whatever do you mean?"

"We may be young, but we are not stupid."

"Yeah, we know you got lucky. Too bad that we are still considered too young to date by law." Todd crossed his arms and cocked his brow as he saw a smug look from the Lucario femme.

"Being exempt is fun." Lisa chuckled and sat by the warm fire.

Macy dished out a bowl of oatmeal and passed it on. "Must be. Do you know when you two finally quieted down? It was nearly three in the morning. If you two plan on doing that again, do it away from camp."

"Deal." Lisa smiled as she pulled her camp spoon out of her waist bag. "As long as neither of you try to watch... without asking first."

"Nasty," Macy grimaced.

"That... might be something to think about." Todd tapped his spoon against his temple with a smile.

Lisa gave a quiet growl, the thought of being watched during the act made her want to call upon her mate's services right then. Nevertheless, as any 'good' Trainer would, she resisted the notion and ate.

After they ate and used their water supply to wash out their bowls, they tore down camp and moved on. The main road was empty, the two humans said it was normal for this time of year. Most 'fresh' Trainers would not start their journey until summer when the schools let out. Then the Routes became a challenge to maneuver through. Up ahead the trees thinned out to a floodplain. Signs on the hill said not to trek through the area during any type of rainfall due to the high risk of flooding from the mountain range wash.

Not once did the trio think to stop and check the area warnings to see if the area was passable, they went on finding the dirt path muddy, but useable. Lisa grumbled the most as her fur became caked and slowly crept up her pants. Todd just laughed and ran on ahead sending mud up behind him with each step. Macy sighed and offered little to help. Lisa was happy when they finally escaped the mud and found the uphill river to wade into to clean off.

Todd, being the boisterous young boy, whistled at the Lucario fem then dashed off before she could retaliate. A mud ball arced over the area and hit Todd square in between the shoulders knocking him to the ground. A roar of laughter came from Macy as she tried to stay out of the warpath. Lisa came out of the water and shook the water off before going over to Todd and placing her foot on the small of his back, her short claws dug into his flesh under his shirt. She knelt as he whimpered out a word she clearly heard, but demanded that it was to be repeated.

"I'm sorry. I was just playing around."

"Good. No more whistling at me like that, otherwise I may just send my overly jealous mate after you."

"Okay."

Lisa allowed him to stand. She turned away and went to stand by Macy who was still trying to stay out of the way. The two females watched the male carefully, he knew far too well they could overpower him. He hung his head and silently waited for them to move on. One lesson learned the hard way: never tease a taken woman (especially when that woman is a Pokèmon.) Macy was the first one to move onward taking the road to the town of Green River, named so from the copper-rich riverbed that runs through the middle of the town to the small ocean bay a half days walk away.

They arrived that evening, as expected, and checked into the PokèCenter's Trainer's facility. There the trio parted into separate rooms to allow them some greatly needed privacy. Lisa refused to release her team now as she stripped down to the fur and filled up the garden tub. As the room steamed up, Lisa locked the room up then eased herself into the tolerably hot water. She moaned as her undercoat soaked up the warmth. It was not usual for her to relax completely, but she took this moment to do just that. Before she could fade away into the silence, the popping hiss of a Pokèball releasing sounded from the other room. Choosing to ignore it, Lisa waited while trying to drift back into nothingness. She was about there when a padded knock shook her back to reality. She growled as she wiped the moisture from her eyes.

"Who is it?" She said sternly.

"Care for some company? I locked the other four in their balls."

Lisa was silent as she thought for a moment, the tub was big enough for her and her mate. "Why not. I am sure you need a bath anyway."

Adrian opened the door to the bathroom, he had checked to see if the room was locked from the outside world before he started his plan. "My Trainer bathing me... now that seems kind of kinky."

"Really? I was hoping for you do that for me."

"Oh no, you are the Trainer and I am the Pokèmon. Bathing is out of my capabilities while in a Trainer facility."

"Mm, well climb on into the water then and we'll figure something out."

Adrian climbed into the tub and straddled Lisa's legs. Before he could even squat down, Lisa lunge her muzzle into his groin and sucked her mate's sheathe into her maw. Adrian grunted from the sheer force. His knees quaked as Lisa wrestled the hidden meat from the silken sleeve with her tongue. The flesh quickly began to swell, but Lisa pulled back to leave the flaccid, pointed tip between her lips. She gave the flesh one more lick before releasing it.

Adrian whimpered as his flesh was struck by the chilled air. She leaned back against the fiberglass mold and pressed her legs against his. She growled with a demanding tone, which got him to listen. He quickly placed his footpads between her legs and knelt as he grabbed his slowly swelling shaft. She gave him a wicked grin and beckoned him with her eyes. He did not even tease as he positioned himself at her nether-lips and slowly pushed into her reveling in the feeling of the hot water and her flesh touching his. Lisa bucked up against him, she did not want to admit that she was going into her cycle again. However, she knew he knew, that was fine by her.

Adrian quickly hilted himself and just bent over her. He started to go slow, already panting from the heat of the water. Water sloshed gently against the walls making the thrusts less of an effort. The overflow gurgled from the backwash, almost in time with Lisa's moans. She was glad that the broach was in the other room and not able to transmit anything to SilphCo now. She urged her mate to speed up he did so only slightly.

"As your Trainer, I order you to speed up and put that knot where it belongs." Lisa growled as she dug her tiny, yet sharp claws into Adrian's arms.

Adrian growled as he obeyed; it was not of annoyance, but of lust. He was aroused by the fact his mate was a Trainer. It was just enough of taboo to make it feel right. He bit his lip as he fought back a howl as his knot popped into place and his orgasm took over.

He filled the fertile field of his mate's womb with his copious seed. It had been a while since before Mona's conception since he had last tied his mate. He could not stop the sensation that every throb made which forced more seed to flow. His mind did not register until his body started to calm that Lisa had sunk her teeth into his shoulder to keep from howling herself.

As they relaxed, they realized the water had gone cold. Adrian pulled the plug and drain the water then refilled the tub with fresh hot water. There they stayed and relaxed together until the knot relaxed and even then Adrian did not pull out of his mate.

"You know what?" Adrian whispered quietly into Lisa's twitching ear a quiet moment later.

"Hmm?"

"I would not mind having another pup. I think our family can grow much bigger."

"Easy for you to say. You don't have to birth them." She smiled then gave her love a lick. "One more I would not mind. Hopefully a son."

"Yes. One for each of us."

"And double the spoiling."

Adrian smiled; he drew her into a kiss and held it for a moment before pulling away from her completely and stepping out onto the cold, dry floor. He sighed happily as he toweled off. He offered a paw to his Trainer, she refused and filled the small pail and proceeded to finish her bath. Adrian just watched with a goofy grin until he shook himself back into reality and went to release the rest of the team so that they could enjoy the space as well.

Justice immediately curled up under the window near the register and grinned as he felt the moving air. Frank, being the dunce that he is, started looking for his Trainer and started to panic until Adrian grabbed him and explained what was going on (in the end, Adrian just placed him in front of the TV and turned on a child's channel.) Britney chuckled as she jumped onto the bed and tickled Mona with a claw.

Once everyone got settled, Lisa came out with a towel in paw as she finished drying off.

Lisa dressed then looked at her team. Already a well-rounded bunch, but actual training needed to be put into place. She was about to tell her team to follow her outside when a shadowy figure started to pull out away from the wall.

"Please, I mean no harm. Shingeno told me to find his daughter." The figure said as it formed into the small Darkrai. "He told me that you could give me the haven I am searching for."

I do not like this.

Adrian 'spoke' to Lisa as he posed for battle with paws aglow.

Calm yourself.

She sent back. "I'll only know that those inside our own sanctuary know that name. I'll trust you for now. But know this: Should you betray us, it will be the last thing you will do."

"I've already betrayed my enslaver, why would I risk my freedom or my life to betray my only hope?"

Lisa fell silent as she contemplated this. She nodded then went to her pack by the bed and retrieved an empty standard ball. She enlarged it and then went to the little Darkrai.

"Your choice then. Come or go, either way, I don't know what to do with you."

The female did not hesitate, she smacked a shadowy appendage against the activator and allowed it to engulf her with the red beam. The ball nearly pinged the moment she was inside, the capture system did not allow such things to happen though. Thirty seconds later, it pinged announcing the capture complete. Lisa called her out and sat the ball down on the bed. A stern look upon her face as she looked at the forming Darkrai. She heard her PokèDex beep as it registered the Darkrai as hers.

Britney welcomed the Darkrai to the team, while Lisa just wondered about the motives she had. Adrian grumbled a greeting then turned his back to the creature. Justice opened an eye towards the others, he could tell that his life was changing for the better now. He did not care that the Nightmare Pokèmon had joined them as long as it left his dreams alone.

"You know," Justice said as he raised his head from the register grate. "You all are noisy."

"Cry me a river, snake boy." Brittney chuckled then stuck her tongue out at the Dratini.

"Don't underestimate me, huntress, I am no snake."

"Yeah, well, mind your elders."

"Right... I am to obey one that is neither a Trainer nor old-

"I am twenty-three years old, fool, and if I am to judge, you are barely a decade."

Justice could not find any words; instead, he growled and curled back up.

"If you two are done bickering," Lisa calmly spoke, "I say we head downstairs to the training room and actually train for a bit. Tomorrow we will be going to the Gym to challenge the leader and I want to be ready. Especially you, Frank."

"Frank fight?"

"You will. Soon." Lisa confirmed as she turned off the television. "Let's go."

Ten minutes later, the seven Pokèmon entered the basement-level training-facility of the PokèCenter. Three other Trainers had their Pokèmon working on various machines. One such working group that caught the new comers' eyes was a Charizard and human girl duo. Lisa knew there was more to the duo then just a 'Trainer' bond; she smiled and returned her focus on her team.

"Britney, take Frank and get him focused on his Water Gun. I'll join you two in a moment." Lisa watched the two breaks away as she continued to spit orders. "Justice, according to my PokèDex, you know Thunder Wave and Water Pulse correct?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

Lisa cocked a brow at the Dragon. "Work on strengthen a combo with them. Adrian, work on your defenses while being Justice's target."

Adrian gulped then nodded; that pair moved off quietly.

"I don't even know your name." Lisa looked at the young female Darkrai.

"Mother called me... Darla once, I guess that is better than anything."

"I have yet to look at your stats, but for now, just do what you can to strengthen yourself up. Mona, I want you to practice those moves daddy taught you."

"Okay." Mona smiled as she ran off to a corner with a mirror to shadow box.

Darla found a small space away from all the others and used her Dark moves as she tried to focus on a spare training dummy.

Lisa joined up with Britney and Frank; she found that the Zangoose had gotten Frank to focus by making the practice into a game: Hit the Zangoose, as she called it. She was running about as the Wooper spat water at her. Occasionally she would slow down and purposely take the shot to keep the 'special' one focused. That is until he started to glow; he squealed and begged for his rock. However, it was too late he evolved quickly. The newly evolved Quagsire panted and looked around the room.

"Frank, how do you feel?" Lisa asked as she knelt down beside her Water/Ground type Pokèmon.

"Smarter. Thank you." Frank rubbed his head with his newly acquired limbs. "The world seems... different now."

"I am happy for you. I think I can say that you might just be the second strongest on my team now."

Frank smiled at her.

"Yep. Keep working, maybe now you two can actually spar."

"Sounds... fun."

"Just remember, no area effecting moves. We are not outside. Keep it physical."

Lisa grinned as the two agreed then went at it. She moved on Adrian and Justice, ignoring the stares of the three Trainers. Adrian stood there shaking from the paralyzing effects of the electrical attacks. Lisa circled around the sparring duo. Then she poked her mate at the base of his skull, he collapsed into a gasping ball of fur.

"Thanks." He managed to cough out."

"No problem. But a word of advice... dodge."

"Yeah..."

Lisa turned to Mona and watched her kick and punch at the air. Lisa was proud to see her daughter come on with such fighting prowess. She moved on to Darla after a moment and watched as the small Darkrai pummeled a training dummy with a move that appeared to be Dark Pulse. Lisa did not think that was possible, she pulled her PokèDex out and looked up Darla's stats. The result of her finding made her knees quake. Darla was a very high level Pokèmon. According to the so-called "Experience Tracker," she was at level ninety-five of one hundred. If all else failed, Darla would finish it. But how could she be so young and yet so strong? She even willingly took a standard ball, but why would she do it if she were going to betray her? Lisa's mind cycled through too many questions.

"I may have the experience of an elder, but I do not have the age." Darla quietly spoke after her attack wavered.

Lisa was silent.

"I can tell you are thinking about: 'What motives does she have to have accepted a weak contraption and possible slavery?' I'll tell you, freedom from certain death as I had explained earlier."

"Even risking slavery is freedom? I personally would want death, but I guess that's why I make a great Trainer."

"Give it time. I bet even the most resilient of Trainers have at least one they use as a tool and nothing else."

That gave Lisa pause. She bit her lip as she sighed. "If I fall to that standard... then I am no longer a Pokèmon wanting equal rights for all of my kin. I lean on my family for that support and as an anchor for my origins."

"We'll see. I'll continue practicing my attacks, but may I suggest that I am a last resort for your upcoming battles. It may not be fair to your opponents."

"I hope it doesn't come to last resorts." Lisa snorted then walked to a free weight bench and sat down.

She spied the Charizard and his Trainer, the girl had a secondary ripple in her Aura. The girl noticed Lisa staring at her and approached.

"So you must be that Lucario Trainer the news is all frenzied up about, eh? Name's Henrietta that adorable brute there is Reginald. Noticed you were looking at us, sizing us up for a battle?"

"Mostly wondering if he is the father."

"What do you mean?"

"You are pregnant and now that you are closer, I find that the ripple is doubled. Twins most likely. Too early to be sure."

Henrietta placed a hand on her stomach and smiled. "So how about that battle? Small wager, standard One-on-One?"

"Sounds like a way to test my daughter about what she learned about flyers. Deal." Lisa gathered her team then they followed Henrietta outside to the battlefield in the back property of the Center.

As the two battlers took their places, the Trainers shook hands/paws as they made the finalizing Battle Pact that would transfer the funds from the accounts and deposit the full amount into the winners account. The system for battlefields are more advanced than that of the field battles where the loser hands over the credit chit and the winner inserted it into their PokèDex to transfer the funds agreed upon, usually half of the losers total account.

"Mona," Lisa commanded from the red square. "Use Force Palm."

"Reginald, dodge and use Focus Punch!" Henrietta smiled from the other side as the Riolu applied energy to her tiny palms.

The Charizard flapped his mighty wings and lifted himself over his opponents head. The Riolu grinned as she forced her tiny legs to spring her up into the air and punched the Charizard in the right hip. The pain was enough to make him lose focus and forced him to land hard. Now on opposite ends of the field, the two stared at each other awaiting further instructions.

"Quick, while he's distracted, use Sky Uppercut." Mona followed her Trainer's order and bull rushed the larger Pokèmon.

She jumped when she was under his jaw and struck with enough force to send the male flying. Lisa noticed that her opposing Trainer glanced at her PokèDex and winced. The Charizard forced himself up and limped back into the field in front of his Trainer. Mona cracked her knuckles and posed in a defensive fashion.

"Lucks, use Flamethrower, full strength!"

"Quick Attack. Get out of range." Lisa shouted.

Mona did just that, she vanished and reappeared on the rooftop of the Center. Lisa growled then flinched as she felt the heat from the flame rush above her. The flames fell short of the Center itself. Henrietta grumbled to herself.

"Steady yourself and ready the finishing move."

"Playing the hard way? Mona, use the advantage against him and use Ice Punch!"

"Shit." Lisa heard from across the field from the Charizard.

"Watch the language in front of my child." Lisa smirked as the male flinched slightly, not used to hearing others comment about what he was saying.

Mona leapt from the roof and aimed her decent at the fire lizard. The Charizard's tail flared as he focused his inner fire and waited for the final command.

"Blast Burn!"

The girl shouted but her timing was off. Mona struck before Reginald could even open his mouth to spew the fire. The Charizard went down, his head bounced off the ground effectively KO'ing him. Mona slid to a halt away from the dragon and waited. When he did not move, she relaxed and gave him a respectful bow before returning to her mother's side.

"You're training with Ditch has done well." Lisa told Mona as the young female approached. A beep from the PokèDex announced the fund transfer was complete.

"Good work, Lucks, rest well." The girl said quietly as she recalled the dragon.

Lisa took a scrap piece of paper from her pocket and wrote her PokèNav number down then went to Henrietta. "Great battle. Here's my number. Give me a call after the birth, I would love to see them."

"Definitely. You are on your way to becoming a celebrity. I want to be able to say 'I knew her before she became the League Champ.'"

Lisa smiled if she could come to call this girl as an acquaintance or even a friend, she would be happy. She offered to buy a drink the offer was refused. They parted ways after that. Lisa sighed then asked Mona if she was hungry, with the rest of the team in their balls they could do a mother/daughter night.

As the two left, they came across the news crew that gave Lisa the initial showing off. They approached and greeted the reporter and the cameraman. The woman bent down and shook hands with Mona. Mona blushed at the complements she got. The woman scratched behind Mona's ears before standing up. The reporter asked if they wanted a meal on them. Lisa eagerly took the offer and followed the news crew to a nearby restaurant the waitress started to argue that Pokèmon was not allowed. Lisa pulled out her Trainers License and countered argued that she was very legal at getting the same treatment as humans. During the entire argument, the reporter had a recorder taping the moment. Eventually the manager came out and sent the worker away.

"I am sorry, but your pets are not allowed in this facility. No matter how you try to pass them off."

"Fine, we will go elsewhere." Lisa grumbled and turned away. The others followed trying not to grin. After they were out of earshot of the building, Lisa turned and crossed her arms. "So, did you get what you want?"

"Figured it out?"

Lisa nodded.

"Yes and sorry. I wanted the raw emotion."

"Just air it in such a manner that makes all business owners to rethink their practices. For, we Pokèmon are not animals."

"Agreed. Just some are caught up in their old ways of thinking."

"I know." Lisa quietly responded.

"Come, I know of a place where they would be happy to take you and your team in."

The reporter took Lisa and Mona down a block to a large, plain-looking building that housed a Pokèmon-friendly restaurant. They dined happily then went to the Gym where they made the proper introductions with Gene B. and set up the battle for tomorrow with the woman. Once they left the main Gym, a small crowd had already formed. Lisa chuckled at the enthusiasm and told the people what time she was going to battle.

A clamor ran through the crowd as the Trainer walked by with the Riolu at her side. A ways away from the building, Lisa bade the news crew a goodnight then headed back to the PokèCenter. She didn't want to admit to the public face that she was nervous seeing that her first true battle was going to be broadcasted live across the nation, if not further.
