Curiosity Killed the Cat
There was a perfect sunset over the forest.
The old trees leaning left and right revealed the many paths and clearings. Standing on the hill, the small black cat could see out to the horizon. The shiny, fluffy coat of this curious feline blew about in the breeze. A deep breath and all the familiar scents came rushing in. The leaves, the earth, the usual suspects whispered to the small inquiring nose. In an instant, a wave of curiosity pulled the cat down the hill - something smelled different. Into the trees, over the mounds of earth, around the rocks - the forest rushed by. A gentle twilight haze set in.
The scent was sweet, or was it? Where is it? What is it?
The dimly lit forest became deeper. Sounds from all around began to creek and snap and slither.
A deer, a creek, a big hole...what is this? -- A cricket. What was that? A black bird flies. That's fine.
All around, the darkness was setting in, but it was very close -- the source, the place that called out to the most curious nose.
Now there is a brook... a jump over the water, into the shrubs -- a quiet place.
The night-eyes stared across a clearing. A cave opened to the starry sky amidst the clearing, the curious visitor approached carefully. The scent was coming from inside, it was so important.
Into the cave, and slowly look around. The smell is here. What is it? Does it live here?
In the deepest darkness of the cave, a large fleshy mass shifted about.
Something! It moves now. Hide down.
The cat crouched down to observe the strange thing in the cave.
Very dark, smell is very good. Moving thing is good.
The mass inched closer, but the watching cat just waited -- entranced. The cave-dweller began to face its observer.
A warm feeling, a good feeling. Settle down; moving thing is good, stay now.
Sluggishly, the crouching feline melted down to the cave floor. Calmly, gently, the cave-dweller slid a huge and peculiar tail between its own legs and under the serene guest. The cat sighed and adjusted to straddle the cave-dweller's appendage.
Very, very good. Thing good. Stay.
Before the cat could react, the tail curled upward, maneuvering the cat down into the monster's slimy, uneven lap. The cat stirred from its trance, but the cave-dweller was already in action, subduing its prey with protruding tendrils.
** Bad! Run! Jump! Pull! Bad thing! Bad thing!**
Tendrils tightened around the cat's legs, neck and torso revealing a soft belly and limiting the captive's movement. The cat struggled against the monster's tightening grasp, to no avail. From the monster's faceless head, two smaller tendrils quickly shot out toward the cat's face.
Bad thing! Get away!
In an effort to turn its head, the cat discovered that movement was no longer possible. The slimy face-tendrils stopped just short of the cat's frightened eyes. The tips of the sticky tendrils widened into clover-shapes which swiftly slipped under the cat's eyelids, covering its eyes. A soft, soothing glow began to glimmer inside.
Get away! Bad thing! Outside! Want outside! Want...Want...want... ... stay.
In a few moments, the struggle was over. Relaxing down on the monster's tail once more, the cat went loose and limp, its face resting on the monster's abdomen. Satisfied, the monster retracted some of its tendrils and began to move to the back of the cave with its ensnared guest. A few more special tendrils protruded from the cave-dweller's head. Some entered into the cat's ears, others into the mouth.
Stay... Stay...
For the entranced prisoner, there were no more worries, no more cares, time no longer passed, and soon, another tendril appeared from the monster's pitted abdomen. Probing gently, the tendril pressed down against the cat's soft belly, feeling around for just the right place.
Find. Place. Good place...
The tendril approached the sensitive area between the cat's legs and with a quick adaptation, began to pleasure the enthralled feline. The cat's senses being warped and manipulated to satisfy every impulse every need. There was no escape and no desire to escape. As the light came into the cave, the monster intensified its molestation; from the base of the monster's tail a special metalic stalk emerged beneath the monster's latest meal.
