Awake
#2 of Grounded
Part two in as many days, Id like to thank everyone who reviewed it for me, and made some great pointers!
-From Sam's viewpoint-
"Fred?!" I gasped, startled at the sudden and random appearance of my old friend, an arctic fox named Fred Thompson, below me on the grass outside my house. "What are you doing here?!" I nearly shouted, struggling with being pleased and creeped out that he had found my house.
"Breaking you out Sam, what else?!" he said back, with a slight smirk on his face. "You said to get you out of there didn't you?" he said smiling more broadly now.
"What? When?" I said confused as to what he was talking about. "Wait!" I said suddenly aware that he was standing exposed to the world and my Parents on the lawn. "Go around back by the shed, I'll meet you there." I called, watching him nod, and head around the back of the house.
I slammed the window shut, "What the hells is going on here?! Why is he here?" I asked myself, knowing that the answers were lying in wait out back by the shed. I turned heading for the door, buttoning my pants and running my fingers through my hair. I pulled on my shirt and raced down the hall, stopping only to put on some deodorant in an attempt to cover up the scent of my cum. Glancing in the mirror, I checked my appearance, a ruffle haired, 16 year old wolf.
Getting to the bottom of the stairs I paused, hoping that all of the noise hadn't awoken my parents "...Nope, still good" I thought, turning and making a silent dash for the back door, across the kitchen tile.
Yanking open the door, I was greeted with the warm swirling blackness of the night, with its canopy of stars spread over the cosmos. I glanced around, excited, but wary, half expecting Fred to jump me at any moment. "Fred?" I whispered into the night
"Here" came the desired reply, I turned where next to the shed on three bags of fertilizer left by the gardener, sat Fred, I walked over to him, taking the time to admire him as I did.
He wore a jet black polo, which sharply accented his white fur, a pair of khaki shorts, and a smile that must drive all the local girls wild. "Stop that" I told myself "Fred is a friend not a love interest" I walked over getting nearer, the darkness revealed only a little of his physique, which I could tell was very masculine, and broadcasted power, with broad shoulders and the traditional 'V' shaped torso, hidden away by only a couple millimeters of fabric. "Gosh what is wrong with you" I chided myself, knowing that Fred had a girlfriend, and thinking to myself what would happen if I came onto him after seeing him for the first time in 6 years, "Probably an ass whooping" I chucked to myself, arriving at Fred.
"What are you so happy about, did you miss me?!" he asked jumping to his feet pulling me into a tight hug; I shamefully took advantage of it to inhale his scent and feel the power associated with his build.
"More than you know" I said, "But what are you doing here you know I'm grounded, and you don't live anywhere near here."
He chuckled "Actually I moved into a house the next street over last week, I was going to wait to see you after you became ungrounded, But I couldn't wait any longer" he said smiling.
I couldn't help but smile now, feeling goofy as hell, "Where did you move to? And what about your friends and school?" I asked wanting to know all the juicy details about his life.
"429 Sycamore Street" he said, "well I guess I'll have to make some new friends don't I?" he said laughing slightly, "but that's ok, my old school was filled with a bunch of jerks and bullies."
I couldn't help but smile broadly, "whats so funny Sam?" he asked eyeing me warily.
"Oh, it just amuses me slightly that someone with your body build has problems with bullies" I said, before I could think about what I was going to say. "SHIT!" I thought, "now he is going to get weirded out, and never talk to me again"
To my surprise he laughed, "Yeah, I know" he said "but you would be surprised, more people make fun of me for my body, than...." He trailed off "so how are you?" he asked quickly changing the subject.
"Oh, um, I'm fine actually, well except for the whole grounding thing, stupid grades, haha" I said "what was he about to say?" I thought to myself.
"That's great!" he said patting me on the back, "And if you need help with your studies, feel free to ask me, I'll help you out. And maybe afterwards we can go to dinner and catch up."
_ "Wait"_ I thought "did he just indirectly ask me out? Nah couldn't of." I smiled, "Well two can play at that game" I thought
"Sure that sounds fine,"
"My parents will be thrilled that I'm hanging out with you again, They always approved of you." I said, watching his face in the pale star light searching for a reaction.
"Yeah, mine were thrilled when they learned that you and your folks lived only one street over, I think my mom is heading over here sometime next week." He said.
I was surprised at his ease, "Do you want to come in" I said.
"Wont your parents wake up?" he asked glancing at the dark house behind me.
"Nah, my parents are pretty heavy sleepers, and dad just got back from the Golf course, so he won't wake unless his business is burning down" I said, chuckling slightly.
"Then sure lead the way." He smiled waving his hand in a courtesy wave, "Ladies first" he said jokingly
I nearly crapped myself, "Uhm, yeah, right," I said smiling weakly beginning to walk toward the house. Turning back once to see if he was following me.
"Could he know?" I asked myself_, "there is no way that he could know, I didn't tell him online, or over the phone any of those times. He couldn't of guessed from the conversation we just had... could he?"_ I looked back to see Fred looking up at the house.
"What do you think?" I asked gesturing at the house and the manicured lawn.
"Its magnificent" he said in an awed tone. "Has your family always lived here Sam?" he asked me looking into my eyes.
They were a striking green, "Ehhm, what?" I asked, realizing what he had said, "Oh yeah, ever since we moved from the old neighborhood." I answered, slightly embarrassed at my faux pas.
Fred laughed, "Yeah I can understand that, but you really do have a nice house, once you are ungrounded I'll have to have you over to see our new one."
I smiled in agreement, opening the door, "You need to be quiet so we don't wake my parents" I whispered to Fred, who came tip-toeing into the room after me.
"Agreed" he whispered back, "boy this kitchen is so much bigger than the old one you guys had!" looking up in awe of the appliances and the counterpace, "how does your mom keep it all clean?"
I smiled sheepishly, "she doesn't; we have a maid come in every two days to clean." I said, "but she still does the laundry!" I added quickly, blushing. "Great now he thinks I'm flaunting my family's wealth" I thought to myself, cursing my stupidity, I glanced back to make sure he was still following me, "Come on" I whispered back
Fred looked back with those green eyes, "Coming" he said, following me into the hallway, and up the stairs. "How many floors do you guys have?" he asked.
Turning back "Oh we have two and the finished basement, but that's it, Ah here we are." I said arriving outside of my door. "Come on in" I whispered back, opening the door, and walking in. My eyes wandered over the room taking note of anything that I needed to pick up, before my eyes rested on the open magazine on my bed, showing the two tied foxes. I froze.
Fred followed me "whoa dude this room is hu......" I glanced back at him; his eyes were fixed on the magazine.
