The Monster, The Knight And The Werewolf
#2 of second folder
On the castle town of Ryun, morning runs arduous as it goes by and for that matter it seems that just like everyday, things goes normal as all activities, labors, and life itself marches on. Moreover, all these vital aspects are a further impulse because of the constructions going on at the edge of town. Same for that matter that has all the kingdom of Ryun functioning as it is to ensure that the edifices in there are finished properly and in time nonetheless.
All of these events occurring because of the given benefices and growth which is in for the best interest. Same reason of why then is that the whole town is hectic just as ever since the constructions began. A detail that's usual though, referring to the busy part, as even if it wasn't for the current projects being held, distinctively life on Ryun is always full of activities. Activities that intertwine with work, on social aspect, personal, or daily living, etc.
Yet curiously though, if it wasn't for the noises and screams at the border of town, one would could swear nothing irregular is taking place today.
Nothing irregular except for the commotion because of the various thundering echoes that's made by something that seemingly sounds as if it's being demolished and destroyed. Such noises resolving from the pieces of what appear to be a curtain wall that inexplicable flies through the sky just for it to come crashing down along with more debris and dust.
Evenly at that moment as well bawls are heard as some of the edifices that lie close to an unfinished entrance gate are being bashed and destroyed by more pieces of rubble that land on top of the structures. All enough to cause a disorder that consequently leads various sentinels to rush in and find out what's the cause behind such destruction.
Upon rushing up to the source of where the devastation is occurring, some guards occupy themselves with the task of helping the town folk get out of there while at the same time assisting those who are injured. Others help maintain safety and control as they evacuate the women and children.
While this, another group of sentinels cautiously walk up ahead to the gust of dirt that subsists at the site as they investigate the reason behind the massive incident. However, it doesn't take long for them to find out the answer they're looking for as puzzlingly and unexplainable the guards quickly withdraw.
They withdraw, or should one better say, "fly out".
Unacceptable, but deadly true when men, women and children panic after they witness the group of sentinel's who end up being thrown back from the clouds of dust. The scene then only intensifies as a menacing roar accompanies the terrifying picture which echoes from within the gust.
The habitants in there can only stare with fear even as more guards uselessly gather up at the scene. A statement that clearly reflects upon the moment a humongous form shapes inside the squall. Same form which is better seen once this gigantic apelike monster walks out of they dirty gust which only causes much panic upon the moment the grey furred beast continues its rampage as he moves up ahead inside town.
His incoming presence making locals and outsiders to be frighten off as no one can stop the frightening beast from causing havoc. Certainly the scene is one no one could picture to be happening, not even in a million years.
At this moment though if we shall rewind time a bit, one can see that unexpectedly the day started typically and as usual for a couple of villagers whom are busy gathering up boulders and wood. These all being resources which are necessary along with a lot of labor. And being so, naturally such task is left to the men working on the mining and lumber camps settled there.
The same which take the time to axe pick boulders until a good amount of stones are gathered. As for the wood, other villagers cut and chop down enough trees so that these can be work by the carpenters for the pieces needed on various details.
While these respective jobs are exerted, there are other villagers whom are occupied using these same resources to labor on the pointed out constructions. They use the stones respectively to follow the patterns to piece up and finish the walls, gates and towers. Meanwhile the wood is used to transport materials. To make up the doors that will go on the gates, or as well to construct the respective watchtowers to be soon positioned up.
Indeed both are laborious tasks, yet fortunately efficient, especially when various habitants are working along and at the same rhythm to finish the structures. Given this reason, it isn't rare for one to see that various constructions have been already successfully completed. Furthermore while still other edifices remain to be finished, they are in the path of nearly completion so to speak.
With this kind of progress is that time goes by, moreover it's normal then for guards to be posted around. The same positioned remotely over this area as they fulfill in with their respective shifts.
Consequentially these same sentinels walk along the constructions just to inspect and curiously stare at the unfinished edifices. Importantly as well, they also head around the site patrolling at the same time as they lend a hand to the workers when needed.
Such scene is typical despite the laborious tasks that with even with guards there, no one would think that any kind danger could occur, at least spontaneously. Not even when a couple of habitants and guards get to observe from afar at the monstrous and unrecognizable figure which at the moment seems to be coming over their direction.
If they only knew that the ape beast approaching them is one powerful threat. They probably would have been prepared to deal against it at that time and not after when it's too late. Late when the beast has closed in to the where the humans are just for it to unexpectedly begin an aggressive rampage.
The monster bashes everything as his fists pounds walls just to topple them. He also picks up a couple of boulders and throws them into gates and towers just for these to come crashing down as well. Same action he repeats against other edifices like houses, mills, and camps in there.
Consequentially the ongoing devastation storms up with the wind as gusts of dirt form around which humans try to escape from as they retreat from the ape while some of the guards in there stay to try and deal with the monster. Yet they are no match for the creature whom strikes with his fists and knocks them out of his path as he makes way through the screen of filth and in direction towards town.
At the time though as the destructive and rampaging threat is on the move a couple of guards, whom witness the beast's attack, hurriedly make their way through town. They pace up and fast as they are to inform of the impending threat that's heading this way. One that they know is a danger to everyone if it isn't stop in time.
Same reason is why the armored soldiers pass through crowds of scared and confused town folks along the way. Successfully though after coursing for a few minutes along the pavements full of fear, uncertainty and anxiety, the guards are able to reach the gatehouse in front of the plaza. In there the messengers report of the pending menace to other sentinels in there so that they can in turn pass the information.
Likely such important message makes its way to the castle as fast as it can even though the news isn't new. Reason because the castle's staff is already somewhat aware of what's happening as themselves are currently witnessing the inexplicable events occurring at edge of town. Events that has them horrified upon not knowing the exact reason behind the destruction and only being able to watch the evident and tumultuous panic that lurks afar.
Yet nevertheless the message of a monster attack thankfully reaches the castle and similarly to everyone in there, including, the heraldry and royal court of the kingdom. Primordially though, the report gets to the queen whom without wasting more precious time, delegates about the situation.
As so, at the time and with the unusual threat approaching, Alexia rapidly commands the knights to head into town to wisely deal with the monster. With this Ryun's knighthood gear up properly and head out to slay the monster urgently before any fatal casualties take place. Yet while the situation takes place, a concerned empress also decides to deal with the threat upfront.
Might seem dangerous and a gushy decision, yet it's a necessary response against whatever precarious situation could develop up ahead and need to be dealt with for the sake of Ryun's people. People that Alexia feels responsible for, being that she's her empress and everything, and what fuels her idea of defending the town folk from harm.
Unknowingly for the empress though, her thoughts cant' be more right. Especially when in the castle town a nightmarish beast continues to cause such a tremendous and massive panic as the habitants try to flee away the moment the ape advances through, even with the presence of a bunch of sentinels whom mobilize from various points as they try to control the situation.
Expectedly though, they aren't enough against a berserk animal whom rampages through attacking them and causing more havoc as he smashes a couple of nearby houses with its huge fists. Repeatedly the creature is far superior for the guards who try to contain the creature at however they can, yet unable to as the grey ape overpowers them to the point that it goes on to attack the civilians now.
Inevitably as to then, the monster closes in a bunch of individuals ready to strike. Such scenario likely to occur if it wasn't that his attack is put a halt to by a mysterious arrow which flies through just to hit the ape on the chest.
The gorilla screeches with anger to such attack which in turn distracts him while on the scene a couple of knights appear. Same knights that have been sent from the castle and in turn are being lead by the person responsible of injuring the ape with the arrow.
The beast himself upon noticing this, and without any kind warning, now rampages in direction to his attacker. Meaning that he heads up against the knights nonetheless. However his berserk attitude is put a halt on to again as another arrow strikes him on the chest. Not hard to guess right now that this action has being performed by the mysterious masked warrior whom repeatedly injures the beast while the other knight themselves move in to try and slay the animal.
Likely so, swords are swung as they try to deal with the gorilla that seems not to flinch, even at such deathful and oncoming threat. The reason belongs to the bold creature as he pounds the ground which literally shakes everything bringing more agitation to everyone as the manual tremor unbalances things for the other knights who try to withstand the quaky stir.
Seems so, that everything looks hopeless, mostly when the gorilla responses after with an assault of its own towards his attackers. Likely it is the end for the knights if it wasn't that his action is once more halted by another arrow which in this occasion hits one of its legs.
The arrow and wound calls the creature's attention as it shifts his focus towards a known and puzzling warrior. And as a mannish beast growls at, the masked warrior instead drops his bow just to grab a hold of a sword, which sheathes in direction towards the beast.
Taking sign of a simple and unthreatening action, the gorilla instead boldly charges towards the warrior, much to everyone's fear. Yet the armored assailant stands unruffled and still until after a brief moment, after he inexplicably charges towards an incoming and gigantic target. A target that makes the situation look bleak for the swordsman as the beast tries to grab the knight only for such move not to occur.
His action been foreseen by the warrior who in time and with an amazing skillfulness dodges the grab only for him to counter with a good old slash to the gorillas' left arm.
Everyone is with amaze at the dexterous knight who stands around to face the beast without complexity. At that same time also, the creature whom is distracted because of the spilling blood injury, ends up being encircled again by a group of known knights who seize to finish him. But unlikely though and more as a twist of fate, the task itself is still much difficult as an unruffled gorilla easily dispatches them with a swing of his seemingly wounded humongous arm.
Despite the wound, the pestering and repetitive actions from the other warriors continue to be small threat, to say the least. This statement deriving from the obvious fact in which the ape's monstrous size edges in his favor over other life beings in there. And yet far nevertheless, the creature is dealt as can as he is hurt by another arrow which in this occasion strikes his left shoulder.
Same which infuriates the beast, particularly when the attack comes from the only worthy opponent on stage which at the moment observes the ape. An ape that expectedly charges in direction towards the warrior. At the same time though, the mysterious knight acknowledges the oncoming assault and sets ready to end everything. This is why the warrior is seen running in direction towards the monster.
Nonetheless before their encounter a sword is swung with carefulness, rapidness and principally much boldness as the ape's attacker calculably strikes the same with a single, but rather mortal slash.
Such assail strikes everyone, and why it wouldn't when the mere slash actually turns out to be an effectual technique. Principally against the grey fur creature whom resolvedly seems to have been defeated. A clear scenario that can be seen after the beast bypasses his opponent just for it to end up crashing into a nearby wall.
Everything returns to normal as expected then. Mainly after the ape whom upon toppling against the wall, collapses to the ground just for him to remain in a lifeless state of being. A state that marks the end of a probable danger for Ryun. Immediately after the monster's slaying has been accomplished, loud noises are made by everyone and everywhere as a cheering stands for a dexterous knight with much ovation. All seem at ease and back to normal, or almost, given the circumstances.
Still everyone in Ryun is glad that nightmare is over. Everyone except a foreign traveler who also has witnessed the fight and that knows that it's too soon to be celebrating.
How right he is when everything comes shaking again just for a boulder to been seen flying by. Boulder which targets a tenure knight, whom at that moment upon merely seeing what comes his way, waits for the inevitable. Same case is why the warrior closes his eyes and lingers to the moment his life will be reaped by the odd instrument of fatality the ape has chosen to kill the warrior with.
Visually the knight remains blind for various seconds as his eyes remain closed while waiting for death to come. Yet curiously such moment never comes which puzzles a fearful individual. To which is why at that moment a stupefied warrior opens his eyes just to gaze at the reason behind death's unappearance.
At the moment a bewildered knight only stares at the large figure towering in front. Same figure whom by the way occupies itself on detaining a huge piece of rock with its bare hands. Although one should scratch that part because the mysterious being doesn't have hands but rather paws!
Paws which incredulously sustain a huge piece of rock as if nothing as the warrior observes. Certainly the scene looks wild yet nevertheless very true and sanely corroboratively. Especially for a fearful knight who at the moment is relieved and gracious for. Gracious at the fact that whoever the extraordinary being is, managed to save his life. However after the frightening scene passes, the knight can't help but to take a better look at his savior.
Such action however gets the warrior to see a flash of what appears to be fur which surrounds the heroic being. Fur which is toned in black and because of this detail is that the warrior looks at its hero just for it to observe at a heady werewolf. Same werewolf whom decided to intervene in the battle after observing a certain grey beast despicably throwing a boulder at the human it's battling against.
Although it sounds risky to try and catch a boulder as if nothing, Caleb's boldness and nature allows him to perform this task with some easiness and luck if so to say. Yet it doesn't mean that the lycan had an easy job of stopping the boulder as the same managed to push him. A clear scene a confound warrior notices himself as he watches the tracks left by Caleb on the ground.
Despite that though, everything seems tranquil for the moment, especially when an intrepid lupine safely drops the boulder. After that occurs and clearly having stopping such threat, the knight, and like everyone else around, stare with some fear and wonder towards Caleb.
Stare at the other beast that seemingly, is completely different from the one wrecking havoc on town.
Speaking about Caleb, he settles tranquil just right after cracking his paws, an action that reflects the somewhat daring male he is. One thing no one can deny given the exploit he just pulled off. In any case, focusing back to Caleb, with the human in armor safe as well as everyone else from a stony threat, the lupine focuses on the other beast in there. Beast that on the moment growls right back at him.
Its pitching noise echoes around before an angered grey ape unexpectedly charges towards the werewolf. However a levelheaded lupine remains motionless and steady even as the grimy gorilla is getting close to him. Caleb stands there worriless which puzzles everyone once the monster is upon him. Same which launches the first strike towards him using its fists.
The assault comes towards Caleb; however it's quickly and on that same moment that the werewolf himself reacts to. Yet much in an unexpected way as he unexplainably leaps towards the monster.
It is unexpected, and quietly. Much unpredictable just like for a grey ape to end up being thrown back instead the moment Caleb surprisingly connects a punch before the ape himself can even attack the lycan first. His action wowing the town given that just a single punch from the lupine is enough of a counter against the ape. Yet the lupine's attack is still not enough for a stubborn gorilla whom still stands on ground as if nothing. Consequently though his action is what has Caleb being the one charging against the monster instead.
He exceedingly gets close enough to his mark. Yet on the moment the ape fights back with a stomping punch, Caleb quickly dodges the attack just for him to counter with a move of his own. To such, Caleb sets in position as he relatively stands underneath to his prey. That being settled, he quickly grabs the ape's neck with one paw while settling the other one over its stomach.
In moments the lycan lifts his opponent into the air much again to everyone´s surprise who again witness the inhuman strength the werewolf creature possesses. On the other side, as for Caleb, he lastingly tosses his opponent with such force that the ape ends up crashing against one of the many curtain walls.
Only dust and rubble can be seen as the smashed creature tumbles down the structure which remotely buries him. The creature remains underneath the pile of stones for various minutes which have everything and everyone with relief. As the scene seems it is hard to think that the gorilla is still alive when he literally has been put to rest under the multiple layers of debris.
But unfortunately it isn't surprising for everyone today to be wrong. Especially when a known grey being emerges from the ruins with a leap that has been done with much strength and vigor that ultimately the pile of stones that were above him, instead end up being thrown up into the air as well. Consequently, the pile of stones come crashing heavily and with much fear from various folks whom on the moment try to avoid them as the same smash into buildings which brings more havoc.
The stone landings have people panicking as many try to avoid the unnatural rain of rubble made by the beast. Same which right now happens to loom over an innocent little boy. All of this seen by the mother of the boy whom with dread and sorrow can only watch how one of the stones is about to squash the child.
About to as it seems, the child is done for if it wasn't that this familiar mass of fur nabs the boy away from the boulder in the nick of time.
Seemingly everyone watch Caleb whom stands with the child safely and away from the stone shower. He on his part places the boy on the floor all while inspecting the human child who's safe and just frighten given that he continuously keeps on weeping; Consequently his concern over the boy distracts him long enough to not notice this huge shadow looming behind him, much until it's too late as a pair of gigantic arms' clench around his abdomen just to haul him away.
Caleb tries to squirm away from the apes' grip but finds it unavoidable as the other beastly male squeezes him with force. Because of the same is that the lycan then uses its fangs and bites with oblige at one of the creature's hand which tears with blood as he sinks its teeth deep enough for his opponent to growl with pain. Something which favors Caleb as the beast outwardly lets him go.
A lucky werewolf thinks his deed has earn him freedom yet instead finds out that there's a flaw on his accomplishment as the ape alternatively heaves him. Caleb can't avoid such toss as the same makes him crash into a wall. He lies on the floor for a while with much rage at himself and towards piece of monkey like trash who he is going to make sure pays for this.
The lycan rises up to face his opponent again. An opponent whom unfortunately for Caleb stands before him and it is so that within moments this yelping sound can be heard coming from Caleb while he wriggles in pain as something pierces his body.
A throbbing wound only has the werewolf yapping as he observes at the ape whom in terms is stabbing him with a sword! The same which only causes more pain to Caleb as the blade buries deep enough on his left shoulder which causes dreadfulness to some as they see the gorilla impaling the blade on the wolfish creature. Moreover in a moment, Caleb screeches in a louder tone as his opponent, wickedly and coldly, pushes the sword even more until ultimately the blade's tip exits through the back.
On the moment the creature pulls back just for him to observe the canine whom succumbs and falls to the floor. Siding back to Caleb, he only snarls in pain as he acknowledges being defenseless against the ape beast. Worst when the gorilla raises one its paws which the other werewolf acknowledges as a final strike.
Looming bleak for the lupine, he waits for such blow which oddly doesn't take place. Particularly because a yap is the only thing that results from the grey ape as he feels a couple of arrows piercing his back. On the moment, the creature turns around to see a known archer who masterfully calls for the monster's attention.
Such monster on his part roars to the knight while unexpectedly making this high jump. The ape heads against the armored entity whom on the other hand is prepared for what comes next as he readies with sword on hand. Same which he uses in turn as he stabs the ape on the moment the creature gets near its target.
Calculably the knight's offensive move seems to work given that the grey beast lands on a painful way, to say the least. And as the creature lies on the ground, his attacker hopes that he's dead for good.
Fairly his thought is shared with the rest of the folk around. Distinctively though, the knight's plead has a different motive given that right now he is with concern towards something else. And not that the safety of Ryun don't come first as the warrior knows very well, nevertheless the herald being is focused on another much more important matter for him.
On top of all though the knight as well as the rest of the inhabitants, after anxiously awaiting they get a surprise on the minute a certain willful ape stands up with his usual vile mood as he roars with anger at the knight. Same anxious warrior whom on the other hand realizes that all of his attacks seem to be futile. Worst when he can't think of anything else to do.
The iniquity beast on the other hand is more than ready to strike again and he probably would be able to if it isn't that a particular weapon startlingly stabs him. At that moment so, a sword is seen flying through which hits the fiend. Much bizarrely and stunningly, it has been thrown by an unlikely source which everyone in there gaze at as he stands with this terrifying and irate glance.
Glance that comes from one enraged werewolf whom at the instant vows to finish with the life of a certain worthless monster.
For the same reason, Caleb boosts with an unseen kind of momentum as he charges towards his target. Target whom at that same moment confronts him resulting in the two of them to end up clashing again as the ape tries to strike the lupine with a punch. However his feral opponent intercepts such blow with his bare paw only.
Seems unlikely that this move could work yet the monster's blow has been put a halt on to given that Caleb astonishingly detains his opponent's fist only with his paw. His action wows all kind of beings around as there shocked to see a werewolf holding such assault as if nothing.
On such moment though the scene intensifies as a certain monster, mad at his opponent for such stunt, uses his other hand and tries to punch Caleb again. Certainly the attack is what heaps the situation given that the ape's other blow comes from the left which disadvantages the lycan because of the precarious wound on that side.
Unfairly as the situation develops, it is surprising to watch though how the dark furred beast intercepts this other blow with none other than his left paw. Intercepts it as if nothing as Caleb blocks this other punch also. Even by unlikely using that side of his body. Moreover, things get heated over as the ape pushes his fists up against the werewolf.
Extraordinarily now the two beasts struggle through some sort of strength match. Description comes from the ape whom instinctively wants to defeat an acknowledged alpha beast and to which is why it primitively rams against the same. Meanwhile mentioned alpha on the other hand, doesn't back down as he holds his stand against the monster without even flinching.
Seems unthinkable for Caleb to be able to engage like this given the severe lesion he carries. Metabolically however, the situation isn't so out of the chart if one is to learn that this beast is pumping with adrenaline and most of all, a primitivism rage. All leading for Caleb to fight back without any concern given that deep within his mind the werewolf knows how far superior he is from the monster.
While these two creatures continue to struggle, everyone on Ryun are amazed to witness this unique event. To witness a struggle between two completely different kinds of beasts, in all word of the sense, is not something that comes often. Moreover for a certain knight whom stands close to the struggle, it's indescribable for him to see the werewolf being able to battle given his condition.
For being able to fight like that, the warrior knows somehow what the outcome of the battle will be now.
And despite that, nevertheless, the knight is now trivially uninterested at the ape's foreseen doom. Instead he's currently concerned for the werewolf who's still unruffled and brash as the human acknowledges. Yet these details aren't enough to calm the knight's uneasiness as he observes the lupines' unfathomable injury which remotely continues to leak and bleed more than usual through Caleb's front and back exit wounds.
The knight discerns that if the struggle continues, eventually the situation will turn perilous for the lycan and is what prompts the warrior to help him end the fight. This is why the knight points another arrow towards the ape. However his move is curiously halted as he's unexpectedly spoken to.
"Not necessary for you to do that."
An astonished archer unexpectedly hears the lupine talking out. Yet he respectively listens to him.
"I sense your concern, yet know that I am just returning the favor for saving me from this worthless trash. Therefore let me handle this beast on my own way."
Caleb speaks out with frankness and yet with more than simple words for some as they observe with clarity how he makes the last sentence to become true on the very moment. Even the warrior stands back and only watches the lycan deal with the monster as he wants to.
Referencing to the same, the lycan effortlessly thrusts forward just to push his opponent away. Following that, he quickly leaps towards the ape whom on the moment tries to fight back. However the assault occurs in a kind of slow motion for Caleb whom presently moves fast as usual just to dodge another punch and instead attack first using his right paw.
An attack that's deadly as the lycan instantly shreds the ape's neck with his claws.
Seconds later the monster is observed as he falls to the ground clutching for air. It coils in a desperate and unbelievable way as life itself leaves his abominable body as Caleb has tear through the beast's jugular vein with a single slash. Slash that severely makes the beast to bleed out in a matter of minutes.
Shortly after, the beast ceases to move and just lies inertly on the floor. A scene that even though hard to see, or grotesque to some folk for that matter, really marks the end for a formidable threat for Ryun. Furthermore this kind of indication comes from Caleb whom a certain knight notices to be at ease. His behavior coming from the fact that through his senses the werewolf is more than aware that the beast is dead.
Subsequently a few minutes pass for everyone around to confirm this as well which finally brings relief to the people of Ryun. Relief that the monster has met his demise given the destruction it caused. However, despite the battle being over, a cloud of uncertainty remains for everyone in respect to Caleb.
For even if there's a well deserved gratefulness for the werewolf's deed, there is still the pending matter of him being an outsider, not to mention him being powerful, which brings more uncertainty. Currently that is another matter that preoccupies the crowd as it's undeniable that the lycan, if by chance, could also pose a threat.
A much greater one then the monster itself, and which is why everyone becomes afraid of the lupine now.
Everyone, except a certain knight whom to tell the truth is still concerned about Caleb's current state of being. Concern that derives from observing the wolfish beast whom on the moment pants with exhaustion. Something the knight has taken notice of and is what worries the human as he ponders if latest Caleb's actions are now costing him much more.
Back tracing at the mentioned lycan, Caleb gasps as he literally and in all sense of the phrase, takes a break. With all intentions from his part the lupine needs to do this because of a known throbbing pain that course from his shoulder.
Naturally with the battle over, all the adrenaline on Caleb's body has left which in turn revives the excruciating pain that had been numb by the same. And it is to the same reason that the lycan places its right paw over his left shoulder as he applies some pressure over the precarious wound. Same which keeps bleeding much more after the lupine carelessly decided to use his left arm.
And despite his actions being necessary to stop the monster, some foremost consequences rise as the wound itself has worsen much up to the point that it worries the werewolf himself. Yet even if it will still heal up because of his metabolism, Caleb discerns that he needs to tend the wound, immediately. Not to mention getting some deserved rest being that he is somewhat weary.
Unluckily though right now it seems doubtful for the werewolf that he might be able to do either of these two things. A keen canine being somewhat aware of the collective fear that now and in there clouds the atmosphere. Fear, that's easily perceived through his senses which warn Caleb of the uncertainty coming from humans and other beings.
And if that wasn't bad news right now, another ill-fated situation develops for Caleb as he slowly senses something else going on.
This swooping vertigo envelops the werewolf that only adds more weight as he struggles to withstand the strange sensation which repeatedly onslaughts him. As for that same reason, the lupine attempts to stay focused just to find out that this is totally unavoidable because of the constant lightheadedness.
Slowly the ongoing condition in combination with aching wound causes Caleb to lose sight of his surrounding as everything goes hazy. On the moment then it isn't hard to picture the foreigner beast unexpectedly collapsing as without any kind of warning, Caleb suddenly loses consciousness.
An out cold lycan remains on the ground while everyone remain motionless and completely unconcern for the beast's condition. Everyone except a certain knight who is seen walking towards the lupine. Mysteriously, at the same time as he mobilizes various knights and personnel from the castle rally as well. But not towards the werewolf, no, instead they all seem to move in direction towards the mysterious warrior.
Meanwhile at that moment mentioned person reaches to where Caleb lies unconscious. The knight kneels while concernedly revising him, importantly his wound for that matter. On that moment such action is what makes one of the knights to approach the other herald respectively.
"My queen it is not safe for you to do that"
Surprisingly as said the brave knight we have seen battling before takes the helmet off just for Alexia to reveal herself. Yet right while replying to the usual and valid concern, Alexia instead responds back with an apprehending tone.
"Not take concern for this werewolf unlike everyone else, Brom?"
"Yes my queen. You've seen what he can do. There's no denying that he is........"
"Dangerous yes he is, but bold as well. If it wasn't for his intervention there is no telling what other damages the monster would have done to the kingdom"
The men there stand with shame knowing her words are true. Nevertheless, Agar, one of the other knights present speaks out.
"Your words are true my queen. However by how the situation looks, it seems that the werewolf is done"
Truth to be told to that comment, Alexia takes her gauntlet off and touches the lupine. The queen warrior discerns for Caleb to be still alive given that he's still breathing. However despite these sign, the stout beast requires immediate attention to his injury.
""Doubt it Agar for he's still much alive."
On the moment Alexia stands up and redirects to her underlings as she quickly comes up with the perfect solution to help the werewolf.
"Agar, order your men to search for a large stretcher of some sort that can be used to carry the werewolf"
"For what purpose my queen?"
"Want him to be taken into the castle for immediate treatment for his wound".
Alexia's request indeed surprises everyone. On the moment however such words only has the queen's personal advisor to approach the female ruler as should.
"I take that this beast should be given some aid after he solely killed the monster. However your majesty, as righteous as your gesture is, the circumstances involving this urbane werewolf aren't recommendable. If I may suggest you can order for it to be treated here"
William's words sounds reasonable as to the current situation and much accurate as should be. None the less the Alexia knows that the same hasn't been well thought-out as must, especially because as the situation stands now for the lycan in respect towards all the people on the kingdom.
"It will get to nothing if that's the case then. If this werewolf were just another habitant the circumstances would be other. Yet he is a foreigner and a complete mystery, worst I assume no one will volunteer out to help treat him out of fear."
"If may I ask then, how will your request change if he is taken to the castle?"
"Because we both know of a certain person who will be more than willing in treating him"
William thinks out to the rulers' words on whom that certain person she refers to is. On the moment whatsoever the indifferent consultant comes with the answer.
"You mean Alexander"
"Certainly, we both know his peculiar diversion in studying various kinds of creatures. For that reason I'm positive he'll know what to do"
"Even if so my queen, are you convinced that all of this is a wise decision, because I speak for everyone else in regards that aiding this beast is immoral and foolish"
Alexia refutes with a serious glance at her advisors´ comment. On this case it is not a good thing for her will to be questioned, moreover when the ruler is influenced into following her mind and heart as always. Particularly today.
"If that so, who else favors to this, tell me know so that I can see proper punishment for defying my orders can be administered"
"You aren't seriously considering"
"By now you should know how serious I am William. This werewolf may be an outsider, but one whom risked his life else than standing around and just observing. Furthermore into consideration, he saved my life for that matter; therefore helping him is a way of repaying his selfless deeds."
Truth is told, the empress is approved as everyone does know that Caleb had tackled the ape when she was defenseless.
"Seems your logic is righteous my queen, wouldn't you agree William?"
The statement comes from Eagan, one of the other knights' whom intervenes on the argument as necessary as it is. However his words aren't seen keen by William whom stares back at him with an almost livid attitude. Nevertheless a red bearded man approaches Alexia righteously supporting her orders while as always battling against a certain advisors' ideas.
"You think the same, Eagan?"
"Unquestionably your majesty"
"Therefore you would put everyone in danger old man. Seems that for a knight that sort of ideas goes against the code, if it that you have one"
Certainly it is not enough to say that an insult is more than implied and as usual between these two men. Nevertheless Eagan gives his own reasoning forward, not to mention a piece of his mind to silence a foolish man like William is.
"The only one here without something is you, old ill-bred piece of man. Still I'll admit that the werewolf is dangerous for I can't deny it to be true."
"It seems then that you have some common sense"
To such disclosure and even if more argument is about to come between Eagan and William, on the moment it is interrupted as Alexia herself takes part of as well.
"Is that right Eagan? You think it's thoughtless to help this werewolf as well?"
On that moment Eagan kneels next to Caleb. Examining him a bit as well, the old warrior discerns over the crimson marks carved in the lupine's fur. Though weird, a rational old man thinks what such marks mean and to which a possible conclusion, deduces something important.
"My queen to be honest, what would be foolish is to leave him to die for what our meek counselor here hasn't thought is the possibility this werewolf has a pack. One that could come to Ryun searching for him and therefore you know how this sort of subject could go."
"Hadn't thought about that sort of matter. You're indeed right that a dreadful clash could develop if they come looking for him. That's enough reason to tend his injuries right away as should. Unless anyone else objects"
Alexia states out with seriousness as she gazes at her personnel, especially her guider whom can't deny that the scenario in which having to deal with a pack of lycans would be more than disastrous. Nevertheless though all the other men around agree in the fact that helping the werewolf is unquestionable.
"Good to know everyone agree with my orders"
"Right your majesty. Now therefore we shall move the werewolf to the castle immediately"
On the moment the red bearded man orders the guards to search for whatever can be used as a means for hauling Caleb. As so, some of the sentinels mobilize in seeking out around town. Same which takes time yet despite the arduous task, it is soon that a group comes back with a sized wooden litter that seems durable enough to move the lupine.
Such described litter is placed on the floor next to an unconscious Caleb; whom at the moment is moved with handle and tidiness as he is placed over the wooden object. A task that some do carefully yet somewhat fearful of an advanced beast as they lightly roll the lycan over the littler until he remains securely on top
With Caleb in position, some of the sentinels try to lift the litter and carry the same to the castle, yet the task is not an easy one given that the lycan is a heavy creature. Despite this minor setback though this is not much of a problem as some of the knights, including Eagan himself, help in this task.
"I will personally see that the beast gets to Alexander"
"Very well and I request that he is helped out as well if he asks for assistance"
Eagan nods and helps the others carry an unconscious foreigner with carefulness but at the same time with rapidness as the wound itself needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
While the group marches towards the castle, Alexis on her part remains in town knowing that she needs to deal with the destruction and pain the ape monster caused. On top of that, the empress wants to make sure that everyone is respectively safe and sound as well as to diligently help those who have been injured.
All of these situations Alexia knows must be taken care of, even despite the ruler herself wanting to attend other crucial matters instead.
Matters that particularly concern the female whom wants to make sure in person that her furred savior is ok. All especially when she has finally seen those particular signs that have been showing up in her dreams.
You see like Eagan, the queen took notice of the crimson markings that Caleb possesses. Same which are similar, if not the same to those carved within the shadowy werewolf from her dreams. Details that Alexia herself can confirm as she easily recognizes the symbols on Caleb's arm and thigh along with the stripes on his head.
Conversely as wild as the situation unfolds, one can think that all is a mere coincidence. However a firm handed ruler who has become interested in Caleb over his distinctive actions is determined to discover who this mysterious werewolf is and if he relates to her visions at all.
