#2 of My days with Alex

A great weekend's over and our wolf takes on the usual, boring mondays.

Sup everyone! Well, there were some demand for it so I decided to turn My days with Alex into a series. I'm not sure right for how long it'll go on. It'll go till I feel I don't have much to add to it, I guess. :) It's gonna be a bit more "serious" than any of my previous stuff on here. Not as much porn heavy but rather plot and character developing. I've been wanting to try something like that out and I guess this'll be my first attempt. We'll see how it goes! I'd like to give a shout-out to Gruffy (http://www.sofurry.com/user/view/profile?id=39198) for giving me the inspiration to start writing again. He's an excellent writer, and if you haven't already you should definitely subscribe to him. :) As usual, don't forget to comment, vote, fave etc. Especially comments will help you telling me what I should improve on and all that jazz. :) Enjoy!

Monday morning.

Ugh...

I groaned as I reached for my alarm clock that was making it's loud, obnoxious beeping noise telling me to get up. When I had made the noise stop I let my arm fall down onto my bed as I just lay there for a few moments, muttering a few words to myself in disapproval of having to get up.

It was Monday morning and the time was currently seven a.m., meaning I had to get up and prepare myself for another week filled with work. I was not really much of a morning person, at least not when it came to work days, and it took a few minutes before I managed to haul my legs over the side of the bed and sit up. I yawned wide and scratched my chest a bit before I proceeded to get up and haul myself over towards my bathroom to do my usual morning routine.

Fifteen minutes later I found myself, as usual, sitting in my kitchen and waiting for my coffeemaker to get done. With my laptop on the kitchen table I started to tiredly check the usual websites I checked most mornings. Facebook, twitter, some friends' personal blogs, the news... the usual.

It was not until I was done with that and I got to have my first sip of rejuvenating coffee that I started to think about the weekend that had past. I smiled a bit to myself and I let my tail wag a bit as I thought about him.

Alex.

I still thought it was a bit strange how he, as a complete stranger, had approached me and wanted to sit by my table at that coffee place. I didn't mind though, thanks to that tiger I had had one of the best weekends in some time. And falling asleep that Saturday night with someone next to me after our... many activities, had felt simply great. I couldn't quite recall the last time I had had someone else in my bed, but I knew it had been far too long.

And waking up that Sunday morning had just felt even better. I woke up first, to find one of his paws gently holding on to my chest in his sleep. He had been sleeping behind me, turned towards me, and I guess I woke him up when I couldn't help but to let out a low rumble as I felt the light touch of him breathing out over my neck. He hadn't minded getting waken up though and it didn't take long till we found ourselves continuing our various activities from last night when we decided to take a shower together.

I still felt a bit sore in my private parts from my very interesting weekend, and as I now sat here and enjoyed my breakfast my eyes slowly trailed over towards a small note on my refrigerator that he had put there before he left.

"Call me if you want to meet again sometime" he had told me with a smile after leaving that note before leaving my apartment the previous day.

I now stared at it and wondered a bit whether or not I should save it. It was hard to see our night together as really nothing more but a day where two random bored furs decided to fuck just to pass the time together.

But even so, we had talked quite a bit and I had gotten to know a lot more about him than I was used to when it comes to "one-night-stands", or whatever you would've called it. If you could even call it that, considering we had spent almost two days together.

"Oh, what the hell..." I told myself as I got up and went back to my bedroom to find my phone. A minute later I typed his number into my phone and saved it. I wasn't sure if I were gonna end up calling him some day and see what he was up to, but I might as well save his number just in case!

It was now about time for me to find some suitable clothes and head to work though. I got a bit surprised myself as I checked the time on my phone and noticed that it was almost eight a.m. and that I must've spent a lot more time thinking about the past weekend than I thought I had!

A few minutes later I had finished putting on a white shirt and a pair of jeans, the clothes I usually wore at work. I was now making my way down to the parking spots outside the apartment building where my car was at. Work didn't start until eight-thirty, and the drive usually took about ten minutes, so I still had plenty of time to make my way there.

Soon I found myself, as usual, driving towards my workplace while singing along to whatever music the radio was playing. The car ride was as boring as always, and my mind wandered every now and then to the tiger, wondering if he was heading to work as well or if maybe he had completely different work hours or something. Since he worked at a grocery store I figured he did a lot of lifting and stuff, and I couldn't help but imagine him bending over to pick up a box or something and show of that ass to whoever might be standing behind and looking at him.

Oh man, that'd be perfect. To just look at him as he bends over, maybe his tail lifting a bit to show off a bit more... Perhaps he'd notice me staring and give a little smirk while he teased a bit by wiggling his ass at me...

I shook my head to clear my mind a bit. I was driving after all and shouldn't let my mind wander. I could feel a familiar tingle in my pants, but knowing where I was heading I would have to restrain myself a bit not to let the urges grow strong. I wasn't one to... you know... "relieve" my urges at work, unless, of course, it was feeling so strong I didn't have much of a choice but to visit the bathroom for a couple of minutes.

To keep my head clear I turned the volume on my radio up even more and sang along as a familiar rock song started playing.

"Hey Robert, me and some of the guys from accounting are heading to the asian place over lunch. Wanna come along?"

My co-worker Jack had entered my office. I looked up from the computer screen as I shook my head a bit at the german shepherd.

"Nah. Thanks but no thanks."

I noticed him frown a bit at my response.

"You sure? They got their special all-you-can-eat lunch buffet today!"

He gave me a slight grin, probably hoping that would tempt me to come along.

I shrugged.

"Yeah well, I gotta work during lunch today unless I wanna work overtime to get this done."

He looked a bit disappointed but flashed me a smile.

"Alright then, just make sure you do actually eat something. Don't want you to pass out like Stan did the other day!"

I chuckled a bit at the memory of our co-worker Stan passing out on the keyboard last week after not having eaten anything the whole day. It wasn't the first time it had happened and Stan never seemed to learn that he did have to eat to keep his energy up.

"I'll visit the café across the street and get a sandwich or something."

I gave him a fast, reassuring smile. He shrugged a bit and waved a paw at me.

"Fine. See ya later then!"

"See ya, enjoy the asian food."

I gave a little sigh as he closed the door to my office and I turned my eyes back to the monitor in front of me and once more started tapping on the keyboard. I was the lead developer for my team, although in this company that was really only a fancy title. I did more or less the same stuff as the rest of the guys, which was grinding code for software all day. Really, the only extra stuff I did was making sure everyone got their stuff done within the deadline.

I wasn't a computer geek, far from it. I knew my way around computers and I could usually solve any problems on my own, but I was by no means an expert. Creating code for software was something I found interesting though. The way that the smallest mistake somewhere in the code could make everything fall apart was something I always found intriguing. So I had stuck with this job for... what... almost four years now?

I had been promoted to lead developer for my team only a few months back due to the usual one going on sick leave because of an accident. We didn't know when he'd come back or even if he'd come back at all. But until then, I was the lead developer and it felt alright. Since it also gave me an extra ten percent of salary every month, as well as I got my own office rather than having to sit by the cubicles, I sure didn't complain.

I stretched my arms and back a bit after having spent almost another thirty minutes just grinding code, and a rumble in my belly told me that I had to get something to eat too. I glanced at the time, telling me there was fifteen minutes remaining of my lunch.

"Alright then" I told myself as I got out of my chair and searched for my wallet. And after finding what I was looking for, I headed out to get that sandwich.

Since it was lunchtime, I was far from the only fur at the café right now. I had thought fifteen minutes would be enough to get the sandwich and then get back to my office, but after having spent five minutes in line I wasn't so sure anymore. There were so many furs wanting special orders, and since the café was more than happy to provide it could sometimes take a while before you got to order.

"Hey, whatsup Robert?"

I flashed the lion in front of me a smile as it was finally my time to get what I wanted. His name was Derrick and he worked here. We weren't exactly friends whom hung out together, but we knew each other since I visited this place once or twice every week when I forgot to bring my own lunch or didn't go somewhere with my co-workers.

"Hey Derrick. Nothing much, just getting a quick lunch. You?"

I pointed at the ham sandwich displayed behind the counter to show him what I wanted. He quickly fetched a premade one from their fridge and handed it to me.

"Same, just giving guys like you their lunch as usual."

I chuckled a bit and paid for my sandwich.

"Well, don't stress yourself out. Take care"

I waved at him as I headed out, my tummy rumbling even more at me now when I had the sandwich in my paw. I'd just get a soda from the vending machine we had at work and then I'd have all I needed for my lunch.

When I finally had what I wanted I checked the time again. Five minutes left of my lunch. Not a lot of time, but nobody ever cared if you ended up still eating even when the lunch was over, as long as you were doing your job too as well.

Well, nobody except for...

Well, shit.

My boss.

And he was standing by my office door, apparently waiting for me.

Well, there we go! Remember to comment, fav, vote and all that jazz. Don't be afraid to tell me what you liked, didn't like. Toodles!
