Tobias lay in his warm bed, in his dark room, in his quiet house, thinking about a wolf. Not just any wolf. Ky. He had just pressed the" end call" button on his phone after a three and a half hour call. He had talked with Ky about everything that wasn't covered in the conversations they had earlier that day. Tobias now felt like he had known the Ky for years. They had only been dating for a few hours and Tobias already felt like it had been months. It was the best feeling in the world. The next morning, just as any usual Sunday morning, Tobias went with his family to church. When they got there, he quickly met up with his friends and they hung out before the service started. Soon they went into the service, which Tobias had a hard time staying awake through, for he had been up very late talking to Ky. After church he went home with his parents and went up to his room. He walked over to his bed and fell upon it. He lay there thinking about Ky and how much he missed him. He noticed that he had never felt this way about any fur in his life. He wanted to talk to Ky right now. He took his phone out of his pocket and called Ky.

"Hey," said a voice that Tobias instantly recognized, "this is Ky, and for some unknown reason I am not answering my phone. So I will try to get back to you soon. Thanks."

Tobias felt his hopes of talking to Ky drift away as a strange woman's voice started speaking.

"If you would like to page the person you are trying to reach, press pound," said the strange, yet familiar voice, "if not, please leave a message after the tone."

*beep*

"Hey," Tobias said, obeying the woman's instructions, "this is Tobias and I really miss you. I really want to talk to you. Please call me back soon. Thanks."

Tobias slid his phone shut and tossed it on his desk. He lay back on his pillow as he thought about how much he cared about Ky. He closed his eyes as he continued to think about his boyfriend. Within a few minutes, he fell asleep, due to the lack of it.

Tobias jumped at the sound of his phone ringing. He reached over and slapped the top of his alarm clock, yet again thinking it was the culprit, and yet again, when the loud music didn't stop, he picked the alarm clock up and threw it in frustration. After realizing it was his phone, he scrambled to get it before it stopped ringing. He grabbed at it several times before he finally got it into his paws. He slid it open and held it to his ear as he answered it.

"Hello," Tobias questioned, realizing that he forgot to look at the caller id.

"Hi beautiful," said the voice that Tobias recognized, "Its Ky."

"Oh," Tobias said, "Hey gorgeous."

"Sorry I missed your call today," Ky apologized, "I forgot to charge my phone last night after our conversation."

"It's ok," Tobias assured him, "But I still miss you."

"I miss you too," Ky replied, "Umm... Are you busy right now?"

"No," Tobias answered, "Why?"

"Cause I was wondering if you wanted to come over," Ky explained.

"Really?" Tobias questioned excitedly. "I would love that. Where do you live?"

"I live six houses down from Josh's," Ky explained, "It's the only blue and green house on that street."

"Awesome," Tobias said as he walked over to his closet to pick out some clothes. "I will be there in a little bit. I can't wait."

"Me neither," Ky said, "Bye beautiful."

"Bye gorgeous." Tobias said before sliding his phone shut.

He looked at his clothes trying to pick the perfect outfit. He eventually settled on a pair of dark blue-green boxers, a pair of tattered jeans, and a gray shirt with splatter art on it. He carried his clothes in the shower as he hummed a random arrangement of notes. He set his clothes on the hamper and stripped before jumping into the shower. He quickly shampooed his fur and rinsed, not wanting to waste any time he could be spending with Ky. He got out of the shower and dried off as fast he could. He put on his clothes and threaded a grungy, black, fabric belt through the belt loops on his jeans. He opened a drawer under the counter top and pulled out a tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush, thinking that he wanted good breath for his boyfriend. He turned on the water and applied some of the mint-flavored paste on his toothbrush. He watched himself in the mirror as he brushed his teeth and tongue. He spit out the spit and excess paste and rinsed his mouth before spraying on some of his cologne before he half walked; half ran out the front door. He jumped into the driver seat of his van and started driving to Josh's house.

When he got to Josh's house, he passed it and started looking for the house that Ky described over the phone. Tobias did not need to recognize Ky's house by its color or placement compared to Josh's house, for Ky sat on the front steps, waiting for Tobias. Tobias pulled into the driveway and shut the van off. He then pulled the keys out of the ignition and opened his door. He had barely made it out of the door when Ky jumped on him and gave him a huge hug. Tobias hugged back before Ky leaned back and kissed Tobias. "Hello!" Tobias responded, also with a big grin.

"I missed you a lot Tobias." Ky said with a sincere look on his face.

"I missed you a lot too, Ky," Tobias repeated, "I am so glad I get to be with you."

"Me too," Ky replied. "Come inside and let's go to m room," Ky said as he grabbed Tobias by the paw and started leading him to the house.

"Ok, lead the way." Tobias said as he shut the door and followed Ky up the pathway.

Ky opened the front door and pulled Tobias inside the beautiful house. As Ky led him to his room, Tobias looked at the paintings that were on the walls as they passed by. They all were sort of similar in the fact that they matched the house, but they were also very different. Ky pulled Tobias down a hallway and opened a door at the end. They entered the room, which Tobias suspected was Ky's, and as Tobias walked into it, he was surprised by the sudden change of mood that was given off by it. Ky's room was painted a bluish grey, which reminded Tobias of Ky's eyes, and there were a lot of abstract sculptures everywhere (All of this was a big change from the mellow warm colors and wood furniture that the rest of the house contained). The sculptures were made of many different things like CD's, excess metal, cans, papier-mâché, etc. Ky had a twin sized bed with a dark blue, almost black, frame. The covers were blue and silver. There was techno/trance music playing, which made Tobias smile. He had always loved trance and it always seemed to increase his emotions.

"Did you do all the art?" Tobias asked, looking from the intriguing sculptures up at Ky.

"Most of it, yeah." Ky replied looking back at Tobias.

"That's so awesome," said Tobias as a big grin formed on his muzzle, "Your room is awesome, almost as awesome as you."

"You don't know how good that is to hear from the most awesome person in the world," Ky replied, forming a similar grin to Toby's.

Tobias stared into his boyfriend's eyes for a few seconds, not responding to Ky's statement. He then walked forward, closing the gap between him and Ky, and kissed Ky. The kiss became more, and more passionate as Ky returned it. Tobias brought his paws up Ky's back and to his neck. Tobias moved one of them to the back of Ky's head as he tilted his head slightly to get easier access to Ky's mouth. Ky soon did the same and Tobias pushed them over to the bed. Tobias fell onto the bed, pulling Ky on top of him. Ky leaned back and looked deeply into his boyfriend's eyes, smiling slightly. Tobias looked back into the deep eyes as he thought about how much he cared this one fur. It was amazing how such strong feelings developed so quickly. They stayed like that, staring into each other's eyes and feeling each other's emotions, for a long time when the silence was suddenly broken by Ky saying the most beautiful words for the most beautiful moment.

"I love you Tobias," Ky said without breaking his gaze, "I really do."

"I love you Akkia." Tobias replied, realizing that he really did. He loved that wolf so much. He cared about him so much. Tobias's eyes glazed over as he was consumed in the feeling of pure bliss.

The two brought their muzzles together in the most perfect kiss, for it was a kiss out of pure love. Neither of the two lovers had experienced something so meaningful. Darkness crept in to the room slowly, engulfing more, and more of the room as time went by. Slow breathing could be heard over the calm trance music. Two bodies lay together on a bed, with their limbs entangled. Two chests rise and fall as air is pulled in and pushed out of two pairs of lungs. "What are you doing?" Ky questioned, with smile and an eyebrow slightly raised.

"Aw, well I can't be as beautiful as you," Ky responded as he lowered his raised eyebrow, "Especially when you sleep."

"Nah, how long have you been up anyway?" Tobias questioned, smiling and rubbing Ky's face.

"Not long," Ky answered, turning his head and giving Tobias's paw a lick.

"Wow," Tobias said as he looked around the room, "It is pretty dark, what time is it?"

"Wow," Tobias replied, "We have been sleeping for a while. Where are your parents?"

"Oh," Ky responded as a sad look came onto his face, "well I already told you that my dad died, and my mom works all the time. I hardly ever see her."

"I am sorry Ky," Tobias said with the same look that Ky had on his face, "Well let's be happy. I mean, we are together and we have all night, pretty much."

"Okay," Ky responded as that familiar smile came back, "I have to admit, it would be very hard for me not to be happy around such a wonderful person as you."

Tobias leaned forward and kissed Ky on the cheek, leaned back and looked at Ky. Ky moved his body closer to Tobias's. He leaned forward and kissed Tobias on the lips.
