This chapter did not take as long to complete thanks to my sudden aversion to procrastination. The next chapter is going to be quite saucy so get ready! Not really much to say here except that I am already hard at work on chapter 6. Hope everyone enjoys.

Two days had passed without incident; it had all seemed to meld together in a short amount of time. Now the couple was on their way to pick Diana up from the hospital, as she was scheduled to be released shortly after they arrived. Keith's foremost concern was safely bringing his sister back to her apartment, but part of him was anticipating the arrival of his package. It would likely be waiting for him when he and Amy made it back, just a little something for protection. Deep down Keith harbored a growing hatred for the person whom harmed Diana; he wanted nothing more than to kill the bastard. For now he could live with the police handling the situation, but he still yearned for a violent retribution that might still be his to savor. He turned his head, watching Amy for a few moments as she slept. The poor girl had suffered insomnia the last few nights; although, she was not the only one. Their lives had undergone a proper injection of panic and paranoia and it only made sense that there would be physical and mental repercussions that they would suffer for some time yet. Keith cracked his neck to the side, relieving himself of a minor kink. The sunlight still burned his eyes, it was much too bright outside and the lack of sleep wasn't helping. He found the traffic to be irritating as each lane was packed with vehicles moving in sporadic bursts. An accident had occurred about two miles up the road and the police were out in numbers. A constant symphony of honks from disgruntled drivers clouded an already mired situation, ensuring Keith's nerves remained in a state of near-panic. His eyes were bloodshot, his temper already a short fuse just waiting to be lit. He was in disbelief how Amy could possibly sleep through this blaring commotion, partially envious of her overwhelming exhaustion. He did his best to stay focused, weaving in and out of traffic, testing his luck with a few close calls. He looked at the time on the car's LED display and grimaced. They were going to be late.

Diana was already up and about, fully dressed in a pair of form fitting jeans and a red t-shirt. Her movements were a bit off, the pain of her wound obviously still affecting her. She was delighted to finally be returning to her own place. The first thing she did when she saw Keith was nearly pounce him, pulling him against her in a tight embrace. She eyed Amy and smirked, releasing her brother and squeezing Amy in close. They all laughed together, jovial to be in each other's warm company. The lightened atmosphere had dramatically improved the moods of Keith and Amy; it was so good to see Diana acting like her usual self. The trio had shunned the hospital food and instead decided that having a meal at a nice restaurant would be a more appetizing choice.

"I'd rather not go back down there; about half of the staff in the cafeteria has hit on me so I'm significantly creeped out," the dragoness stated as she rolled her eyes. Her body definitely drew attention to her whether she enjoyed it or not. Amy simply smirked whilst Keith laughed heartily; all too familiar with the situations his sister seemed adept at landing in. Suddenly he felt his phone buzzing in his pocket, fluidly retrieving it and flipping it open to view the message.

"Package en route, be there soon," was all that was written but it was enough to let the dragon know that returning to his room quickly would be a good idea.

"Okay ladies, where would you like to eat? I know my opinion doesn't matter." The two looked at him and shared a sly grin whilst Diana grabbed her purse.

"We'll decide in the car, would you please sign me out dear brother?" she asked, already heading out of her room with Amy. Keith glanced at his phone once more before heading off to the front lobby. He was growing ever more anxious to receive his new equipment.

The trio was camped in a small booth near a window, Keith sitting next to Amy and Diana sitting across from him. The dragoness had her muzzle buried in her menu, ravenously eyeing over every little delectable morsel she could see. Amy had already decided her order via an app on her phone, and Keith was only interested in an appetizer. Ever since they had gotten to the hospital the thought of the person who harmed his sister had persistently floated around in his head. He kept pondering how he was going to handle the situation and kept asking himself what he should do if the situation called for a non-desirable outcome. He wasn't going to lie to himself; he wanted to snap that asshole's neck. Thinking about Thomas caused a primal rage to surface deep within him. He was not a violent dragon by nature, but the protection of his loved ones was first and foremost of his concerns in life. This person had crossed a line and sent a message that he was not afraid, rendering the possibility of a peaceful resolution remote. Keith felt a tap on his groin, causing him to grunt and look up. His sister was staring at him intently.

"Brother are you going to order first or shall your girl and I go ahead whilst you dream on?" asked his sister, leaning her snout on a hand. Keith snapped out of his troubling daydream, gazing at the waiter whose body language suggested growing impatience. He smiled plainly and apologized for the delay.

"I'll just have the Appetizer Sampler with a side of Teriyaki and Ranch sauce with a glass of water." The waiter jotted his order down and then looked over at Diana with a suggestive leer.

"And you Madame?" he asked, completely ignoring the fact that Amy was sitting right next to the dragon. The dragoness met his leer with an equally inappropriate grin. Amy rolled her eyes and kicked Diana's leg gently under the table, irritated with her lewd behavior so soon after suffering such a painful injury.

"I believe I shall have the spicy shrimp roll with a side of fries, curly style if you have them and a glass of Chardonnay, "said Diana as she leaned back against her seat and yawned widely. The waiter nodded a bit more vigorously this time, his eyes quickly darting to her sizeable chest. Amy frowned and cleared her throat, her temper starting to flare as she became more famished with each passing minute. Keith was holding back laughter from the situation. Amy gave him a glare and peered at her menu for a couple of seconds.

"I'll just have a large chicken salad with the usual toppings and honey mustard dressing, if you could. For a drink I would like any kind of soda available as I really have no preference. " she spoke in a condescending tone. The young hyena broke eye contact in embarrassment, just nodding and writing down what she said. Keith patted the Doberman's lap, impressed with her directness.

"Your orders should be done shortly, hope you enjoy your time here. Please tell me if you need anything else," said the waiter as he walked off, knowing he may have lost out on a tip. Amy sat back and crossed her arms as she stared right at Diana.

"Flirting after you've just been seriously injured? What the hell is wrong with you?" The dragoness curled her lip up, ready to snarl. She could see that Amy was upset, and she could understand why.

"You're right, I'd like to avoid trouble for now until I'm fully healed," she said as she slumped her shoulders, surrendering to Amy's will but still displaying a flare of resistance. The two avoided eye contact and kept silent as Keith pressed further into his seat, highly uncomfortable being so close to two women at odds.

"Ladies, may we please not quarrel today? I would rather us enjoy each other's company."

The two looked at him, then at each other finally. They both nodded in unison and smiled.

"Well you are right brother, besides I think you'll be enjoying our company very much later tonight," Keith's eyes widened at her words and Amy gasped loudly, giving her such a venomous glare.

"That was supposed to be a surprise for him!" exclaimed the Doberman, raising her tone significantly. Diana raised her hand and lowered it slowly, indicating for her to lower her voice.

"Relax Ms. Manic; he still has no idea what we have in store." Keith rolled his eyes and tapped her foot with his own.

"You know I can still hear you right? I'm sitting right here."

"You'll just have to wait and see brother. I can guarantee you'll love it though," saying his sister as she formed a very large grin across her lips. Keith swallowed hard; he could only imagine what the two women meant.

Amy left a miniscule tip of only a dollar on the table before getting up to join the others. Diana's tip would more than make up for it, however; as she loved the extra attention. It was still sunny outside, with the usual banter from passersby and the sound of tires on asphalt. Many thick clouds hovered above, providing ample shade to those below them. Keith started up the car and turned the AC up to max for his companions. It took a few minutes before the interior began to cool. The two women stepped inside, Diana in the backseat and Amy up front with her dragon. She sighed contently and leaned against him, as he in turn leaned against her.

"Awwwww, you two look so adorable together," said the dragoness as she propped both her arms up on the back of her brother's seat. Keith reached an arm back and rubbed the nape of her neck gently. Diana cooed happily from the attention to one of her pressure points, slumping forward as if she had just fallen completely unconscious. Amy giggled and poked Keith's leg before inquiring about their next destination.

"So hunni, where to next? Do you want to stay in town a bit longer or do you want to go ahead and take your sister back-"before she could finish Diana interrupted.

"Actually brother if it is alright with you can I stay at your place tonight?" Keith immediately thought about the hint at a surprise earlier, linking the statement with the current question. His sister had an angle for her inquiry. He turned his head and smiled at her.

"Sure sis, I'm guessing we will need to drop by your place to retrieve a few things though?" Diana simply nodded, leaning back onto the seat and strapping herself in. After a few minutes they turned into the road and set off east, the dragon still pondering what his sister had meant.

Amy tapped her fingers on the car window, waiting for the dragoness to return with a few key items they would need for the night. She was still unsure about if they should go through with it or not, given the recent turn of events. She figured they would have plenty of time to talk it out before any of the plan actually came to fruition, if it did at all. She looked at her cell phone and saw she had a few new messages. Most of them were just junk mail and but one in particular caught her interest. The statement was odd, like it had either been sent to the wrong person or ripped straight from a horror movie.

"You'll see me again soon." She looked around as a sudden sensation of paranoia settled upon her.

"Are you okay dear?" asked her boyfriend, his tail stroking along her lap. She nodded and closed her phone, pushing the message to the back of her mind.

"Yeah hun, it's probably nothing."

Soon enough they both caught sight of Diana descending an exterior staircase slowly with a few bags. Keith exited the vehicle to help his sister, who quickly turned away his help.

"No need, I can do this myself," she said, grunting as the weight put stress on her wound.

"For god's sake girl," Amy got out of the car and took two bags from the dragoness. They were somewhat heavy, likely filled with clothing, makeup, and the like. She knew Diana was quite the feisty woman. She saw a grin on her face that she could only describe as diabolically naughty. She was suddenly very curious about the contents of the bags. They packed the trunk and left the apartment complex, heading towards the hotel where Keith was staying. Diana kept putting in different CDs, quickly swapping one out for another again and again as she couldn't find a particular song she was in the mood for. The ride back was an interesting mix of random, blaring sounds.

Diana wanted to sleep on the couch; although, the couple had offered her their bed. She immediately took a small tour of the rooms, walking out onto the balcony last.

"Not too bad a place bro, very roomy for single bedroom place. Love the view out here as well!" she exclaimed, bending over the rail to look out onto the beach below. Keith rolled his eyes; her jeans really were a little too form-fitting. She loved to show off her body and had a ravenous libido to go along with it. When they were younger she would keep attracting the wrong type of suitor, and he would have to protect her from her own poorly-made decisions. She was a handful, technically and physically speaking. They both carried a little secret from their childhood, something that went beyond just a brother/sister bond. She had been trying to rekindle it for a while whilst Keith tried his best to remain indifferent about it. They were older now; he didn't know how he felt about it. Before he ventured back down here, he had pondered about bringing the subject up to her and discussing it in length. At this point he just figured he would have to wait a while longer given the recent circumstances. He had more pressing matters to concern himself with. The package he had ordered was now sitting on his bed, still unopened and undisturbed. He was contemplating a proper time to open; he definitely did not want Diana seeing it. It was not symbolic of a decision to reap revenge, merely of a need to be prepared for a worst-case scenario. Still, she might think he had the worst in mind if she saw the weapon. She had asked what was in the box and she had been told that it was nothing more than a few books that he had ordered. Amy simply kept quiet; she didn't want to know what Keith was thinking about doing with that gun. She needed to talk to the dragoness about their plan for the night.

"Diana, may I talk to you in Keith's room alone please?" Diana turned around and stuck out her tongue.

"But if you are alone then how I am supposed to be in there?" The Doberman stamped her foot down and sighed.

"Very funny lady, you know what I meant." The dragoness nodded and looked one last time over the balcony. The sun would be going down in a couple hours and the night life would pick up. She felt most alive during that time.

Amy was sitting on the bed with her legs crossed, the package right next to her. Diana was gazing at it curiously, not at all convinced that it was just a few books.

"Would you mind opening that for me?" asked Amy, motioning towards the sealed top. The dragoness pulled it towards her and lifted one finger, dragging a sharpened talon across the tape. She looked at the unsealed flaps now, waiting for the other girl's approval before she dug into it. Amy closed her eyes and nodded, confident that she could predict the following reaction. The dragoness slowly bent the cardboard flaps back to reveal a clear plastic case. Inside was a dark grey hand gun with three fully loaded clips. She stared at it, not entirely in disbelief.

"This is a-"

"Glock 17, semi-automatic," chimed in Amy.

"Our father had one of these," said Diana as she trailed off in thought. He had quite an extensive collection of various firearms ranging from handguns to rifles and lastly shotguns. The two siblings were taught from an early age how to properly clean, chamber, and fire every weapon their father owned. It was one of his few ways of bonding with them. Work consumed most of his time and life; it was something that rubbed off on Keith at an early age. He became so much like his father that he focused almost solely on his work life in lieu of those he loved. Only a few years ago had both Amy and Diana managed to snap him out of it and show him that his obsession with his job was only making him miserable and more isolated. He did not have very many people whom he could call true friends. His anti-social behavior stemmed way back to his childhood when he only had his sister for comfort due to their parents' shaky marriage. Most of their other family members stayed out of contact, having little to no interest in anything but their own affairs. Those factors led to the two siblings becoming what some might call a little too close. A sudden snap focused her attention.

"Hey, back down to Earth please," joked Amy, "Strolling down memory lane again?"

"Just thinking about how Keith and I became so close," she answered.

"Not hard to imagine considering you both used to fuck like...well dragons."

Diana blushed brightly. It was true what Amy had said. Their bond went beyond what was considered to be a normal sibling relationship. It had started as a curiosity in her, something new that she could explore and understand. It turned out to be so much deeper than she expected. At their young age they did not fully comprehend what they were doing with each other. It simply felt great, something that brought pleasure and relief. As they grew it became apparent for a need to keep their intimate activities secret lest their other family members discover the forbidden romance and passion that they shared. Their relationship had gone through several stages during their progression from childhood into adulthood. Diana had at one point been utterly ashamed of her actions and sexual deviancy. She had confided her actions to a close friend, whom then shunned her in blatant disgust. Back then she did not know what to think about how she felt towards her brother. It was just something that felt natural for her. She suddenly snapped out of her memories as she felt Amy poking her on the snout with a finger.

"Should I come back when you are done watching home movies in there?" asked the Doberman. Diana looked down, forgetting she had just discovered a weapon that her brother had ordered. She wasn't mad at him, but now she was more concerned about his mental state. She needed to be sure he wasn't going to do anything rash, but that could be taken care of later. She closed the box and pushed it away, her interest clearly on another subject. Amy yawned and arched her back, stretching her arms out. The dragoness noted the other female's flexibility, it would come in handy. She placed her hand on Amy's leg and gave it a sensual rub. She felt a shiver travel through the canine's body, a sign of her nervousness.

"Thinking about how tonight is going to play out are we?" she inquired, curling her strong tail around one of Amy's legs. The girl simply nodded, looking down at the hand still on her leg.

"So, did you bring the stuff?" she asked. Diana grinned widely and got up, walking over towards the bedroom dresser where she had laid her bags. She retrieved one and opened it, showing its contents to Amy. The canine's eyes widened significantly, a look of disbelief on her face.

"Are you sure I can fit into that?" Diana burst out laughing for a few moments, quickly composing herself and winking at the other female.

"I'm sure we can find a way."
