A short story about an Anthro Wolf who has cancer, finally gets his wish from his draconic friend to help him grant his wish.

The weather was cold, the air chilled, and the snow drifted off the roof of one's house in the suburbs of Otway, Ohio. It was Midnight, "Angel's Mass", on a December 10th of 2013. There was a few houses nearby, their lights off signifying they were asleep, but one house. One lone house that sat between a church and a nearby one-lane highway.

Sitting on his couch wearing a white T-Shirt and blue jeans with an empty beer bottle in paw whilst indoors, Treyven, a.k.a "Trey", was upset that his mate left him. His strong Wolf body was no match for his weak emotions to burst during the time she left. He kept thinking to himself, "I'm nothing to her," and, "It was all my fault, I shouldn't of hung out with that... that Griffin Anthro." He continuously thought of the good times he had with her over the past three years. Lifting up his bottle to his eye level, he looked inside to see if there was anything left inside. It was empty.

"*sigh* ... just like Sarah... gone...." he dropped the bottle out to the side of the couch, making a loud thud from it hitting the floor. His Ice-Blue eyes were tearing up once more. In a whisper, he said to himself, "What am I going to do?"

Suddenly, his phone started to ring. He had to get up, walk across his living room and over to the riging phone which was sitting on the charger. He answered, "H-hello...?"

"Hey, how you doing Trey?" said a deep, draconic voice on the other end.

Trey wiped his tears away as he inhaled to talk, "Nothing much Luke..." he sighed after words. Trey walked over to his television and it was automatically on the daily news channel.

"You don't sound alright. You want me to visit?" said Luke, concerned about his friend.

Trey slightly chuckled, "That obvious, huh? And the fact about my cancer getting worse and... and now my mate is gone...!-"

Luke interrupted him, "I'll be over in a few minutes." Then he hung up the phone, leaving immediately.

Hearing Luke hang up, Trey looked at the phone and pressed the "Off" button, hung it up, and then walked back to his couch to watch the news. He thought to himself Why....

Twenty-six minutes have passed as the news was about off for the night, when he heard a knock at the door. The snowfall was picking up so he knew he had to respond quickly, "Come in!" he said aloud.

Walking in was a tall, Black scaled Anthro Dragon wearing a brown heavy coat with black jeans and brown boots. The snow rushed in but it stopped once he quickly closed the door. It was Luke. "Hey buddy," he shook the snow off of him and kicked it off his boots, before taking them off, "You feeling any better?" he asked from across the room.

Trey shakes his head slowly staring at the television entranced, it seemed.

"HEY!" Luke walked up to him and snapped his claws together, "Hello!" He wanted to make sure Trey didn't take anything that could harm himself.

"HUH!? What?" Trey looked around him quickly, then looked into Luke's Deep-Purple Draconic eyes.

"You just looked dead there for a second Trey. I thought you took something." He then took off his coat and threw it on the couch.

Tilting his head, Trey asked, "What could of I have taken?"

Luke looked at him with a serious face, "Like pills, for one..." He started counting with his fingers while looking slightly up at the ceiling, "... overdosed on them, um..." he shrugged looking back down at Trey, "... and could of drunk yourself to death for another. I mean, pfft, look at the beer bottles here!" He points at the few beer bottles beside the couch.

"I only drunk at least two..." Trey said to Luke in a sad, truthful tone. He looked up at Luke with a saddened face.

Stareing back down at him, Luke sighed and placed his paws on his hips, looking away for a few seconds, thinking of what to say next. Then he turned his head toward Trey, saying, "Look, I'm sorry if I sound harsh bud, but I worry about you, you know. With all what's going on and all that. I'm surprised that you haven't attempted anything yet with anything!"

"I... I'm sorry Luke." Trey said to him, even more down than earlier.

Luke sighed yet again, crossing his arms thinking of what to say. He then observed Treys body actions and noticed he looked very tired. "You should rest. You look very tired in my perspective."

Looking up at Luke, Trey nodded slowly, "Yes, I agree with you..." He raised up his paw to him for help up off of the couch. Luke reached out to him and grabbed his paw to help him, and at that very moment he could feel his pain and his depression. Everything seemed to just stop right there for Luke with visions of Trey's doctor's visits and the argument with his previous mate. And so much more, but he could hardly keep up with the images being played so rapidly fast. Then it all ended in such a blur hearing a voice in his head saying "Three weeks", then Trey asking, "Hey, you... you alright Luke?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, yeah. I'm fine... just... wow..." Said Luke, dumbfounded and surprised at the same time. He then gave Trey a tight hug, not letting go of him.

"You had another one of those visions, have you?" asked Trey, hugging him back with tears in his eyes.

Luke nodded, agreeing. He rubbed his back for comfort as Trey let out his emotions all at once on his shoulders. "T-Trey? If... if there is anyway that I could take this pain away.. forever... I would do it in a heartbeat. For you."

Sobbing deeply and loudly on his shoulders, Trey looked up at him with his tears rolling down his cheeks, "R-really Luke? You w-would?" He swallowed hard, seeing hope.

His Draconic friend looked back at him, then licked his tears off, "I would. Just to no longer see you suffer anymore." He then looked at the direction of Trey's bedroom, "Come on, you must rest now."

Trey agreed, "O-okay Luke..." He held his friends strong, draconic paws and then Luke had this feeling of trust come from it. "You have been there for me for thirteen years, seeing through dark and light alone. And I know you would do anything for me."

Both of them were walking into the bedroom, carefully holding paws as Trey sat on the edge of the foot of the bed, bouncing slightly once sitting. Luke looked at him, standing in front of him, "We have seen the worse, but have also cherished the great..." He held both his paws, "But I must ask you... when I had that vision, I... heard a voice saying... "Three weeks" ..."

Trey looked down at the floor, silent and quiet.

"What does that mean, Trey?"

He then sighed and looked at Luke, even more saddened, "That was told to me two weeks ago, that I had three more weeks to live."

Everything seemed to stop for the second he said "live" to Luke. He knew Trey's time was very near. His chest started started to hurt and his mind rushed of so many questions; so many thoughts.

"I... I should have told you Luke...." He started to cry once more, but Luke kneeled down to him hushing him with one finger on his lips.

"Shhh... It's okay, " he said in a gentle, draconic voice, "Every thing will be alright."

The both of them hugged so tightly, that not even the strongest Elephant alive could peal them apart. They hugged for forty-five minutes straight, then finally, after thinking of many offers that Trey thought of, he finally picked one. One offer, that Luke would do for him, and to end the pain... forever.

Being shy at first, he blushed and gave Luke a slight kiss on the cheek. Luke blushed Red as he opened his eyes slowly. Luke then asked, in a whisper, "Luke, I have been thinking of that offer... to end my pain forever. And in this way, I would not feel it either..."

Luke looked at him curiously, "Hrr? What may this be then?" he replied in a whisper as well.

Trey then looked at his dragon friend's muzzle, nuzzling the soft lips. Luke didn't get it at first, but then Trey pushed his nose against them slightly, wanting him to open up. Luke knew what he wanted, and so did Trey. Taking off Trey's shirt, reveling his six-pack abs and fit body, Luke took off his own shirt, showing his Dark-Red underbelly and fit body. Luke slowly opened up his maw to accompany Trey's muzzle into his mouth. He drooled as his muzzle rested on his soft, silky, black tongue as he asked Trey yet again, "Are you sure you want to do this?

Trey nodded slightly with his muzzle in Luke's maw. Luke felt him nodding, by putting pressure on his black tongue.

Luke wrapped his tongue around Trey's muzzle, holding his head in place as he accompanied their positions just right to feel a lot more comfortable during the swallow. Luke sat Trey on the floor, and then Luke sat on the bed. The Grey wolf sat on his knees while still closing his eyes, preparing for his journey down his friends gullet. Luke, tasting his friend, grabbed him gently by the arms as he slowly pushed him further into him mouth, fitting his whole head in his maw. He drooled more as he slowly breathed through his mouth and onto Trey's face. He smelled his breath, and it smelled horrible, but he didn't have to stand for it for long so he shrugged it off. Luke popped his jaws out of place, like an Anaconda would do to swallow large prey whole, and then gently shoved him in further. Now working on his shoulders to fit into his maw, Luke then picked up his friend off the floor, and then held him into the air for gravity to help on his decent into peace. It was getting a bit tighter for Trey's head to even move, as his ears were now pressed against his own head hearing Luke's heartbeat and him breathing through his nostrils. Luke then pressed on Trey's arms to become more adjusted for his way down and to fit his shoulders into his maw. He achieved what he wanted to do and finally was starting to swallow him more easily. Tasting his furry body, Luke could feel his friends head bulge out from his neck. Rubbing it gently with one paw while holding him up, Trey could feel his touch from just the outside world. Now Trey's torso wan inside Luke's maw and at this point, there was no turning back. Even Trey knew there wasn't any turning back form the first time he thought of it. Luke leaned his head a bit higher for Trey's body to fit more easily down his gullet.

Opening his eyes, Trey looked down a dark tunnel, with it's wet ans sticky walls pressing against him with each swallow form Luke. He felt no terror, no fear, no turmoil. Just peace, and relaxation for what awaited him just ahead. He smiled gently the more he felt himself sliding down.

Looking down with his eyes fixated on his friends coming peace, he saw his legs and bushy, Grey tail with a white tip starting to vanish into his maw. With Trey's pants still on, he took them off at the last second for him and thought to himself, You're welcome Trey. Finally feeling him enter the stomachs emptiness, he gave Trey one last taste, as well as his final goodbyes by tickling his feet-paws, feeling him squirm inside his gullet. Then, he swallowed hard, seeing his feet and tail go into his maw, and down into his throat, following Treys journey into Luke's churning stomach. Luke leaned back, rubbing his belly and feeling Trey squirm inside to get acquainted with his new home. He let out a sigh, then a sudden, loud belch as he heard him muffle the words to Luke, "Thank you."

Luke started to tear up as he nodded, saying, "You're welcome, Trey. 'Was an amazing thirteen years we have had.... I will miss you."

With that, the movements finally ceased, and Trey rested inside, with a smile on his face, knowing that he didn't die by some disease that would hurt him in the end, but by his friend who did him a favor and gave him a caring ending to his pain.

Still leaning back onto Trey's bed, he still heard the television blaring out in the living room. He slowly got up, grunting to move as it was a bit difficult to do with Trey inside his gurgling stomach. He reached out to the remote control on the couch where Trey sat just an hour ago. He then paused and looked at the remote and couch, thinking hard. Then he saw the bottles next to the couch as he bent over, with complications, and picked up every last one of them, walked into the kitchen, and tossed them into the trash can. As he journeyed back into the living room to finally turn off the television, he noticed a picture on the wall. It was Luke and Trey, posing at the county fair making faces with the words, "Live, Laugh, Love" below it. He took it down, and held it near his chest, nodding slightly saying, "Rest in peace my friend, rest well...." Luke, holding the picture in one paw, and then reaching out to the remote, finally turned off the television, walked into Trey's bedroom, closed the door, and then sat at the foot of the bed looking at where Trey sat earlier. He noticed his own drool on the floor from swallowing him and then sighed, with a smile on his face. Scooting up near the head of the bed, Luke leaned on his side, moving the blankets to cover himself up as he reached out and turned off the light to sleep the night away, with the thought of knowing his friend, Treyven, would rest in peace for all eternity, and within Luke.
