A Love and a Half (poem)
I know this poem might be a little off, so if you don't like it, blame it on my younger self. And now, I present to you,
A Love and a Half
There was once a lonely man,
whom when he sings, it never stands.
One day, he walked past a clock that never flies,
Until, he was struck by a girl with blue sky eyes.
He ran & kneeled in her presence,
And said, "Darling, your face is my present."
She looked & said to him, "You make me wanna shout!"
So they followed the sun, while running about.
Later that night, she turned mad,
All because of a secret he shouldn't've had.
So she kicked him out of her house,
and he got up & walked to a bar, as quietly as a mouse.
When he arrived, he drank many shots of rum.
Once he was drunk, he walked to the house of his mum.
He walked upstairs and took a med,
And silently went to bed.
The next morning, he woke up with a hangover,
While coming down the stairs, his mum told him "Get the paper!"
He then walked out the door with the same pain,
But was struck & this story repeats again.
