Possibly the longest story I've written yet! time for you guys to get a real feel for the characters, as well as plenty of the action I know you want! Kaisa let out a content sigh as he stepped out of bed and stretched, glancing at his clock which flashed a red 11:00. It was a day after his last meeting with Adina and he was as eager as ever to see her, as he was finally healthy again. As if by fate, the moment the thought reached his mind his cell rang. He pulled it out of his pajama pockets, his ears perking up as he read Adina on the tiny screen.

"Hello?" he said

"What's up ugly?" replied Adina

"Who is this?" asked Kaisa grinning to himself.

"Ass... I guess you'll have to meet me at the park swings at 12 to find out!"

She hung up the phone before he had a chance to reply. Kaisa walked to the bathroom with a slight spring in his step, thinking only about Adina. He brushed his teeth, giving himself a quick smile and a thumbs up in the mirror before jumping in the shower. Kaisa quickly lathered himself up with some fur shampoo, getting nice and clean before hopping out and in front of the fur dryer. As he was drying, his cell went off again, this time reading Tam.

"Hey cutie!" said Kaisa enthusiastically.

"Hey there you sexy beast you." came the exotic reply from the other end. "We gonna have some fun tonight?"

"Sure sweet thing, I'll rock your world." replied Kaisa

"Alright gross, your way to good at that..." said the caller half laughing.

"So how you been Tamari?" asked Kaisa. I haven't seen you or Tristan in forever!"

Tamari and Tristan were two of Kaisa's closest friends, they also happened to be twins. Kaisa had gone to school with them since kindergarten, and they hadn't changed much since then. They were brother and sister, both calico cat furs, extremely playful, and extremely immature, but Kaisa loved them to death. He could always count on laughing himself to tears when they were around.

"I'm great!" replied Tamari, "Tristan is" Kaisa heard her pull the phone away.

"Trist, Kaisa wants to know how you've been." He heard Tam say.

"Tell him he's stupid, I hate him... and hes got a dumb face." Kaisa could distinguish from the background.

"Trist is doing good too." Tam said into the phone. "We're going to Spark, this new club downtown. You're coming so shut up and meet us there around 11."

Kaisa stopped mid-reply as Tam hung up on him. Glancing at his watch he let out a quick, "eeshh" hurrying to get dressed before he was late. Tossing on a pair of jeans and a dark green t-shirt he ran downstairs, yelling "See ya!" to his parents before dashing out the front door.

Kaisa glanced at his watch and slowed his jog to a walk, he had 15 minutes to get there. The park was only about a mile from his house, though not really much of a park, more of a patch of green thrown into his urban setting to keep the local furs happy. Kaisa had played many of his soccer games on the field there, if you could even call it that. As he walked into the playground whistling to himself he looked up just in time to see an excited vixen bolting toward him.

"Kaisa!" yelled Adina wrapping her arms around the middle of his chest and nuzzling her way under his left arm.

It never ceased to amaze him how every time she saw him it was like they had been apart for years.

"Hey cutie." He said, planting a kiss on the top of her head.

Adina let out a soft murr and pulled her head away staring up at him with her green eyes. Standing on her tip toes she planted a kiss on his muzzle. Adina's heart began to beat very quickly as she finally got ready to tell him her big secret. Taking a step back she looked at him and asked "Like my shirt?"

Looking her over Kaisa read, "Emerald Fields University est 1878"

"Sweet," said Kaisa recognizing the name of his college, "You should have told me you wanted one I get a student discount."

"Oh that's alright," smirked Adina, "I got this one for free from the school!"

"That's bullshit!" yelled Kaisa his ears folding down, "The only time they ever gave me a free shirt was when I got my acceptance letter!"

Adina pounced at him quickly, wrapping her arms around him again with a huge smile on her face.

"Adina.... no way! Tell me.... wait...." stammered Kaisa, his ears perking straight up.

"I got in!" yipped Adina, "I really, really got accepted! I start next semester!"

Kaisa grabbed her tight and lifted her off the ground in a fierce hug, spinning her around a couple times before setting her down. "That's so amazing! Oh man, I'm so happy!" he laughed. He pulled her off him and gave her a fierce passionate kiss before hugging her again.

"I have to be home soon," said Adina "but we're celebrating tonight!"

"A couple of my good friends are heading to this new club downtown if you're interested." said Kaisa.

"You mean Spark? I'm definetally in!" replied Adina.

"Awesome." said Kaisa, giving her a wide toothy smile, "I'll call you before I head over to your place."

They kissed again quickly and began heading back home. As Adina left the park a strong pair of arms wrapped around her again as Kaisa's voice from behind her said, "I'm so happy babe, you have no idea." Kaisa nuzzled her ear quickly before letting go and jogging back to his house.

Kaisa walked from his house and arrived at Adina's around 10:00. He flipped open his cell to call her, but shoved it back into his pocket as her front door opened. A tall, composed vixen stood in the entrance and waved at him.

"Hello, Kaisa." Said Adina's mother.

"Hi Janet," she always insisted he call her by her first name, "do you know if Adina is ready yet?"

"She's upstairs finishing up. She figured you'd be here soon so I've been keeping an eye out. Come on in."

Kaisa jogged up the doorstep and walked in, planting a quick kiss on Janet's cheek before heading upstairs to Adina's room. He knocked on her door before pushing it open gently and looking around.

"Adina?" He asked to no response. "Must be in the bathroom." he thought to himself walking into her room.

He gave out a small yell of alarm as Adina suddenly pounced on him from behind the door. He let out a soft "Oomph!" as he landed in a sit with her knees on either side of his legs, and his hands on her waist.

"Haha you're such a loser, I've always been able to get you so easy." said Adina with a small laugh. She leaned forward and planted a long wet kiss on his muzzle.

"Maybe I like it." said Kaisa kissing her back.

Kaisa looked himself over. He was wearing a navy blue button up, with lighter blue pinstripes running down it, a pair of jeans, faded with a few small rips, and a black pair of dress shoes.

"It comes natural babe." He said flashing a quick grin and looked her over, "Did K-mart have a sale?"

"You DICK!" yelled Adina, giving him a soft slap followed by a lick on his nose. "Why can't you ever be nice to me?"

"Come on, don't make me feel bad you know I'm playing." replied Kaisa wiping his nose with the back of his paw. "It's not my fault you're too dull to defend yourself."

Kaisa avoided another swipe and dashed to the bed, sitting down to watch her finish doing her hair. Adina was wearing a black, sleeveless shirt with two thin straps running over her shoulders. It tapered off a little below her waist, her legs covered with a pair of very sexy tight jeans. The outfit hugged her curves perfectly, something Kaisa took a long time staring at, thinking about how lucky he was to be going out with a girl like her. Adina flicked her eyes upward in the mirror, catching Kaisa staring at her tail area with a dimwit smirk on his face.

"Can I help you?" she asked raising an eyebrow slightly.

"Nope, just looking" he said with a small laugh, "Do they make those clothes in women's sizes?"

Adina turned around with her eyes ablaze and her ears folded back. "You are such an ASS! I dare you to be nice to me for one night!"

Kaisa jumped off the bed and went to hug her as she slipped out from in between his arms.

"Mom!" yelled Adina out her door and downstairs, "Kaisa is being a dick!"

"I'll call his parents dear," came the soft reply from downstairs, "and watch your language!"

"HA!" smirked Adina, "Just wait until you get home!"

Kaisa put his paws out in front of him and shook them in mock fear while dancing from foot to foot, "Oh nooooooo!"

"You're dead..." said Adina with a manic grin on her face. Closing her door and turning the lock she dashed forward with a growl, tackling an unsuspecting Kaisa onto her bed and kissing him passionately.

She slowly slid her hands down between his legs and caressed him slightly over his jeans.

"Think you can be quiet and compose yourself like a real fox, or are you gonna moan and scream like a twelve year old again?" said Adina with a sexy smile.

Kaisa snapped his hand to his forehead in a mock salute, "Yes ma'am!"

The two foxes caught the 10:45 bus downtown and arrived at their stop at 11:05, just a few blocks from the address Tam had given him. Taking Adina's hand Kaisa began leading her down the street. Passing an alley, Kaisa pulled Adina in and began walking through it.

"This will take us right to the block we need to reach." he said simply.

About halfway down the near black alley, Kaisa's eyes caught a flicker of movement, and a glint of eyes as a figure dashed across just ten feet in front of them. Kaisa's fur bristled sharply as he reached his arm across Adina, who hadn't seen anything.

"What are you doing stupid?" Asked Adina as Kaisa held her in place forcefully.

"Stay behind me!" he growled, spinning quickly as the figure dashed out again, behind them this time.

As he stared back the way they came he heard Adina scream, just as a sharp pain shot through his tail. Jumping from the shock, Kaisa Spun quickly with a snarl to confront the attacker. Looking down he couldn't believe his eyes as a calico in jeans and a zip up hoodie took his tail out of it's mouth and rolled onto his back laughing uncontrollably.

"You stupid git!" laughed Tristan curling up and clenching his stomach.

"God you're such a sissy!" Laughed the second cat from behind him, "'Get behind me!' Hahahaha!" Tam came up and grabbed Kaisa's ears from behind, "My hero!" she said in a mock swoon.

"You..... are..... such.... assholes." said Kaisa in between heavy breaths, his body still expecting a fight.

Tristan sat up quickly with a shocked look on his face, "What?! Why?!" Tam pulled him to his feet and they both wrapped Kaisa in a quick hug laughing.

"We missed ya big guy!" they laughed.

"I don't know why I missed you." grumbled Kaisa. "Adina these two are Tamari and Tristan. This is Adina."

"HI!" said Tam with a smile.

"Madam." said Trist exaggerating a French accent and kissing the back of her paw. "Sorry about scaring you."

Adina laughed with a short curtsy and said, "Oh I'm fine, Kaisa is just a big crybaby."

"It's official," said Trist, "I like her!"

Tristan and Tam laughed as they dashed off to the end of the alley kicking at each others heels. Tamari let out a high pitched giggle, yelling, "Timber!" as she caught Tristan just right and he fell face first to the ground. Adina could only shake her head and laugh as they rounded the corner yelling, "C'mon losers!" over their shoulders.

"They sure are a pair." she laughed looking at Kaisa. Kaisa nodded in agreement his ears slightly drooped and his breathing still heavy. Adina reached down un-clenching his balled up paw and putting hers in it, standing on tip-toe she gave his a lick on his cheek and said "Thanks, Kaisa." His ears perked back up and his breathing began to slow as she laid her head on his arm and they walked toward the entrance of the club.

The line stretched out forever, but after some smooth talking, and a hefty $400 dollar bribe by Trist (Kaisa had never been able to find out where he got all his money), they were lounging back in a V.I.P booth on the second floor of the club, overlooking the dance floor. Kaisa rested with his arms on the top of the divider overlooking the level below, taking sips from his Vodka and Redbull. He couldn't help but laugh as he saw Trist dancing like an idiot in the middle of a circle of laughing Furs. It seemed he had a strange talent for getting everyone to like him immediately.

Kaisa straightened up as a pair of arms slipped their way under his and wrapped him up gently from behind.

"Wanna dance?" asked Adina.

"Sure!" Kaisa replied.

Making their way past the bouncer watching their booth, they went downstairs and jumped onto the dance floor. Kaisa positioned himself behind Adina with his hands on her hips as she swayed back and forth to the music. The bass pounded in his ears as techno rocked the walls of the club, hundreds of furs all dancing without a care in the world. After just a few songs, Kaisa stumbled as someone pushed into him hard. Brushing it off as a mistake (people always seemed to bump into each other on the dance floor) he didn't even bother looking as he continued to dance with Adina.

All of a sudden without warning he got hit with a hard cuff on the back of his head. Stumbling slightly he spun around quickly, coming face to face with a fairly tall, very built black furred wolf.

"What's your problem bro?" yelled Kaisa over the music.

"That girl is way to good looking for you, that's my problem." growled the wolf at him. "Why don't you come dance with someone who isn't a total loser?" asked the wolf over Kaisa's shoulder.

Not taking his eyes off the wolf, Kaisa heard Adina reply with a loud, "Fuck you!" from behind him.

"Oh so she's a fiesty, slut of a bitch huh?" asked the wolf with an arrogant smirk on his face.

Kaisa caught a flicker of movement, and saw Tristan just a few feet behind the wolf, a menacing smile on his face, his claws flicking in and out.

"Listen, asshole, I'm not getting thrown out of here because of you, but you better pray to all that's holy that I don't see you when I leave this club." growled Kaisa.

"Something wrong here fellas?" said a deep voice from behind him.

Kaisa turned around and had to look way up in order to see the face massive equine that stood behind him.

"Just some friendly conversation!" smiled the wolf before turning his back and walking away from the dance floor.

"Sorry sir." said Kaisa to the bouncer.

"I saw him start with you, no worries we'll keep an eye on him." the horse replied before walking back to the edge of the floor.

The rest of the night went off without a hitch. Kaisa and Adina wound up back in the booth, drinking out of bottles that Trist so generously provided, while Tristan himself sat back on the other side doing allot more than talking with a cute lioness that Tamari had brought over to him.

"Must be nice having a sister..." said Kaisa softly to Adina.

"What you're not happy?" she replied shoving an elbow into his ribs, "besides you don't need a sister when you have the good looks you do."

Kaisa gripped her to his side tightly and nuzzled against her softly as she took another sip from her drink.

A few hours later the four of them left the club, all tired out and somewhat inebriated. Tristan flashed a thumbs up to Kaisa after putting the lionesses number in his phone.

"Who are you texting?" Tristan asked Tam, "It better not be some guy..."

"Oh I can get you girls, but I'm not allowed to talk to guys?" she laughed.

"Not before I meet them." replied Trist.

"Oh, well in that case it's a girl then."

"Let me see it." Trist said reaching for her phone.

Kaisa and Adina began walking ahead while the two cats wrestled biting each others ears and laughing.

"Hey dipshit!" came a voice from behind Kaisa as he and Adina rounded the first corner.

Kaisa's ears snapped up as he recognized the voice of the Wolf from the club. Spinning around and pulling Adina behind him he turned to face the Wolf, who was standing only 10 feet from him.

"Lets see how tough your punk ass is now." the wolf laughed as two more fairly large wolves emerged from the alley next to him.

A second later Tristan came stumbling around the corner by himself, almost falling over in what appeared to be a drunken stupor.

"Heyyyyyyyy f-f-fellas!" he stammered, stumbling over and throwing his arms around two of the wolve's shoulders. "Whass happenin?" he let out a soft *hic*

The two wolves supporting him shrugged him off as he tumbled over, standing up and wobbling.

"Your friend is about to get stomped, that's what's happening." said the biggest wolf.

"Thass prolly not too shmart." grinned Tristan stupidly, "Hesh raelly tough!"

The wolf laughed as he pushed Tristan hard and began rushing past him. In an instant Trist had gained his balance back, and kicking out the Wolf's knee, caught him with a vicious uppercut as he fell. Trist leaned over the Wolf's limp body and laughed hysterically, "You fell for the drunk trick!?! What a fucking clown!"

Trist dodged quickly as two hard punches came from the other wolves. Jumping nimbly back to Kaisa he nudged his ribs and pointed at the roof next to the two wolves. Kaisa watched with a smirk as Tam ran swiftly off the edge of the roof, landing on the shoulders of one wolf and driving him hard into the ground. The other wolf, reacting quickly, caught Tam with a swift backhand, sending her stumbling over to Tristan and Kaisa.

"Oh man, what a prick." she said rubbing her cheek and checking her mouth for blood, "that fucking hurt!"

The wolf pulled his friend to his feet and they took off around the corner. "Time for a whooping." yelled Tristan taking off after them with Tamari close at his heels.

"Wait for us here." said Kaisa to Adina as he vaulted the black wolf's limp body and took off to help out his friends.

It didn't take long for Trist to run down the wolves. Kaisa caught up soon after and jumped into the flurry of claws, fists, and teeth. Throwing a hard hook, Kaisa felt adrenaline rake through his body as his fist made a cracking contact with one of the wolves muzzles, dropping him into a limp heap of fur and muscle. Turning around he saw Tam swiftly swatting away punches from the other wolf as Tristan slowly crept up from behind him, driving him to the floor with a two handed blow to the back of his head.

Kaisa looked over his friends, Tam was bleeding slightly from the backhand but, other than that she was unscathed. Tristan on the other hand was bleeding freely from his arm. He sat down slowly ripping a long strand from his shirt. Tam sat next to him licking his wound gently.

"Man, those god damn wolves can bite huh?" Tristan laughed half heartedly, "I couldn't believe how strong he was once he got a hold of me, good thing Tam was here." He nuzzled her gently as she stopped licking him and let him tie the bandage.

Kaisa stood there letting the full feeling of the fight course through him, setting every muscle ablaze with energy and making him feel alive in only the way a fight can. As he helped Trist to his feet a scream broke the silence around them.

"Go Kaisa!" yelled Tristan limping forward with the help of Tam.

Kaisa tore off down the street rounding the corner to see the black wolf awake and pulling Adina into the alley they had walked through before. rounding the corner he saw Adina laying limp in the middle of the alley, alone. Running toward her, his breath was blasted from his lungs as an elbow landed in his stomach. In the darkness of the alley Kaisa hadn't seen the all black fur of the wolf hiding right near him. Dropping to his knees he gasped and wheezed as the wolf raked his claws across his chest opening four deep gouges. The wolf grabbed Kaisa's arms and dragged him over to Adina's body.

"Now you can watch me deal with this bitch!" growled the wolf.

Lifting her as easy as if she were a doll the wolf threw Adina hard against the brick wall of the alley, drawing a loud yip from her. Kaisa growled as he tried to stand but the wolf just laughed. Throwing his paw hard against Adina's face he knocked her swiftly to the ground before lifting her up again.

"Maybe I should have some fun with you before I rip out your pretty throat..." growled the wolf menacingly, his breath, smelling of blood and alcohol, washed across Adina's face.

"Kaisa..... please......" was all she could manage to utter.

The wolf pressed his body against her, squeezing her to the wall and rubbing himself against her. Kaisa's eyes blazed to life as he quietly struggled to stand. Clutching at his stomach he pulled himself to his feet with the last of his strength and stood behind the wolf. Unable to remove his right arm from his stomach, he turned the Wolf with his left paw and threw a vicious headbutt straight into the muzzle of the canine. As the wolf grabbed his face howling Kaisa quickly took the back of his head and slammed it viciously into the wall next to Adina. Collapsing with the effort, he blacked out knowing that at least she was safe.

Kaisa awoke in a bed in what looked like a fancy hotel room. Looking down he saw his shirt torn open and his chest wrapped up in what was now a red bandage.

"Are you okay?" came a voice wracked with sorrow.

Kaisa suddenly realized that Adina was laying next to him, gazing at him with her eyes tearing.

"I was so scared you were badly hurt."

"Get outta here he's tough enough to take on that little loser, right Kai?" Laughed Tristan, a fresh bandage on his arm and Tamari sitting next to him smiling.

"Am I?" muttered Kaisa.

"You sure are!" laughed Trist, "I thought you had killed that wolf when we got to him, there was blood everywhere but he was breathing so we just made an anonymous call and left him before bringing you two back here.

"Where is here?" grumbled Kaisa

"The Ritz baby!" laughed Trist, "Spare no expense for my friends! The buses had all stopped running so we had Adina tell her parents she was staying at a friends close by and we checked in."

"Sadly, only two are allowed in a room." said Tam, standing up and grabbing Tristan's good arm, "So we'll say goodnight."

"Aww but it's early sis, c'mon lets get wasted!" Tristan kept fighting as she dragged him out, "but...but...but...c'mon... you're no fun Tam..." his protests died off as they continued down the hall.

"You sure you're alright?" asked Adina softly as she took his paw in hers.

"Forget me, I saw him hit you, are you hurt?" he replied.

"Nah, I'm tougher than I look" she laughed.

"I guess so, I wouldn't want to mess with you." he laughed back. "I'm exhausted."

"Too bad this awesome room is gonna go to waste." Sighed Adina.

"I'm not that exhausted." said Kaisa as he rolled over on his side and pulled Adina to him, planting a long kiss on her muzzle.

Wrapping his arms around Adina he rolled over and pulled her on top of him.
