Chapter 01**
Felix Kornel was naturally excited. Lord Albert the Cat Lord of Quad Counties Planet were allowing the Kornel family to move into the Japanopolis region into a small farmhouse located just outside of the city, as per Anthony Kornel's request. Felix's mom, Dea Kornel, and his brother, Lawrence, though he preferred to be called Larry, and his near perfect though quiet and gosh darn beautiful and drop dead gorgeous sister, Unice Kornel, were all taking this move in stride.
When Anthony was laid off from his job, he never expected to be offered a new job in the Japanopolis region doing nearly the same thing he had done before, only as a docking manager, and for better pay to boot. But their fortune was all due to the chance encounter Felix had just before Christmas with a Devil Mouse named Zecma, who was on a mission to give out twelve wishes to deserving people during the Twelve Wishes of Christmas (see QCP: BG-11 for further details.)
The Kornel family were in their motor home as it drove down the highway. They had already lost their old house due to a mortgage foreclosure and now they truly felt as if they were leaving nothing behind. The family dog, Ahab, a large friendly sheepdog, quietly rested in his doggy bed while the family focused on the road ahead.
"It was awfully nice of Simba to make the arrangements for my new job and our new home, Dea," said Anthony. "We should be there in another few minutes."
Dea smiled. "Our own farm like I grew up on when I was a girl. We can grow our own food and maybe have a cow for fresh milk. And come chickens for eggs. And pigs for bacon and ham."
Larry said, "I just hope we get there before this motor home breaks down. It is an old vehicle."
Felix exclaimed, "There's the Transportal leading into the Japanopolis region of Q.C. Planet!"
Anthony nodded his head and turned the motor home off through the quiet Transportal from the main freeway. Then they made a left and got into the correct lane, as they drove onward as they approached the citizen entry gate into Japanopolis.
Standing in the check booth was Fujiko of Lupin the Third fame. "Hello folks. This is the citizen entry to Japanopolis. You people don't look like locals. May I see your passes please?"
Felix quickly said, "You're Fujiko, right? Simba told us to have you call in a check on Line #4 on the arrival of the Kornel family who were given a farm just south of Japanopolis."
Fujiko hummed. "Kornel, you said?" She then looked through some private messages that she had posted on her wall. Then she saw the name Kornel on one note. She read the information, then turned and smiled to the family. "The Kornel family! Yes, we have orders to give you VIP clearance. I'm sorry I held you up. Please go right on in. Drive onward for 2 miles to the edge of the city, then turn off on the Valley Bypass South. When you reach Crop Circle Road, hang a right and drive onward for about a mile and a half and you will find a mailbox with your name on it. Simply turn into the driveway and you're there."
Anthony smiled at Fujiko as he drove on through the gate. Following Fujiko's directions, they soon turned on to the Valley Bypass South and continued on until they saw Crop Circle Road, which seemed to be an unpaved county road. They turned right on that and drove on until they saw their donated mailbox with their name on it. At that point, they turned into the south driveway and got their first look at the absolutely beautiful farm house, barn, stables, a like new tractor, a new lawn mower, and crop fields. The farm was surrounded by a wooden white fence.

Chapter 02
Dea exclaimed, "Oh my. I thought Simba said this was a little farm."
Larry giggled. "Simba is a big lion, so to him, maybe it did seem little. I like it."
Anthony smiled. "I can see me working that field on the weekends."
Unice sat there quietly holding Ahab in her arms. And Ahab was protecting her, as usual.
Dea suddenly pointed toward a neighboring fence and said, "What is that?"
The Kornels all looked in that direction and what they saw was a brown and white dragon like being that was the size of Larry and Felix. It wasn't looking their way, but seemed to be paying attention to its own farm land.
Felix said, "I'll go find out what it is. Be right back." And he started for the motor home door.
Anthony said, "Felix! Be careful!"
Felix grinned at his father. "Dad... this is cartoon land. Duh." And he was out the door and heading across the farm toward the fence where the dragon like creature stood.
From the motor home, they saw Felix and the dragon like kid shake hands, then talk at length about a few things. Finally, the Kornels saw Felix returning with a smile. He opened the door and said, "You aren't going to believe this! Our neighbors are Digimon! They grow corn in their field and pop the excess amount, coat it in caramel, and sell the result to the markets! The kid I spoke to was called Myrdramon! He goes to school at Montropolis High School!"
Dea smiled. "Sounds like you made a friend, Felix. Okay everyone... lets get this motor home unpacked and see about claiming our bedrooms."
Once they were unpacked and Ahab stationed in his doggy bed in the mud room, the family were looking over the bedroom arrangement. Anthony said, "According to the floor plan of the farm house, this is the master bedroom. And this is a daughter's bedroom. And this bedroom is for an older son. And..." He paused, as he looked over the rest of the floor plan. "Ah, there it is. The last bedroom is... there." He paused again. "No, that can't be right. The last bedroom isn't even in the main farm house."
Felix looked over the page of the map of the house. "So where is my bedroom located, dad?"
Anthony said, "Believe it or not, Felix, you head out the kitchen door to the outside on the deck that goes over and connects to the side of the stables, then you head up these stairs to the second floor, and there will be a mini-deck and a door that leads into your bedroom."
Dea arched an eye. "Are you serious? That sounds like a long trip for Felix to take every day to get to the kitchen and the bathroom. Are you sure that's the last bedroom."
Anthony replied, "According to the layout, there is a bedroom on the second floor of the stables, and in the back of that bedroom is a walk-in closet hallway that leads to his own bathroom. But there is only one kitchen."

Chapter 03
Felix never complained at all, honestly. Zecma did promise that he would see about getting Felix a summer job at the circus, so Felix was willing to endure anything. Not to mention, he had made a Digimon friend their first day on the farm. His father was going to be checking in at the new work place in the morning for a briefing with the dock personnel, while his mother was going to be in contact with Japanopolis High School, mainly to check to see if their school records had arrived as yet. Little did Felix know what Saturday morning was to bring. December 26th on the new farm was like the best Christmas present ever given. His dad had a new job; the family had a new home; and every sibling had their own bedroom.
And the best part was that Simba sicced the Lord Yuskay lawyers on the Real World welfare people. They had agreed to leave Unice alone as long as she lived on Q.C. Planet.
Felix had finished his dinner and helped his mom wash the dishes earlier, and now, he was out for a walk on the huge farm land, mainly following the fence line. Back near the woods in the far back of the farm, he saw good looking 2-tailed brown fox gathering shiny rocks. Felix couldn't help but to say hello. "Konnichi wa, fox boy."
The brown Kitsune glanced over toward the fence then smiled. "You must be one of the Kornels. My name is Glitter Prower." He walked over to the fence and shook Felix's hand. "And what is your name?"
Felix smiled. "I'm Felix Kornel, the youngest member of the family. What are you doing?"
Glitter grinned slyly. "I am gathering shiny stones for my father. Its a punishment. I would rather be romping in the mud swamps with Slick, Myrdramon, and Sony. They really know how to have fun."
Felix grinned back. "I met Myrdramon already. He was pretty nice."
Glitter nodded his head as he continued to pick up shiny stones. "He helps me with my homework." Then he stood up again. "Thanks for stopping to talk to me, Felix. I really hope you end up going to school in Montropolis. You're okay. I have to get going now or my father will invent something else for me to do. Bye." And with that, he began spinning his two tails like a rotary helicopter and flew off through the woods to the south.
Felix smiled. "Prower, he said. I'll bet his dad is Tails. He even flies like him. I better get back to the house now. At least I learned some more local names." And he headed off and back toward the farm house.
At the kitchen table, Felix sat down after washing his hands and he saw his mother with that rare "look" on her face that no one ever wanted to get. "Um, mom... you have that... look... on your face... did someone do something bad again?"
Dea looked at Felix and said, "I just spoke with the Japanopolis School Board. They have the most utmost, most ridiculous rule that I have ever heard of. And it concerns you, Felix. When the school buses come on Monday... Larry will be getting on the one going to Japanopolis High. And you will be attending Montropolis High."
Felix was actually happy about that, but he didn't dare show any happiness about it while his mom had that "look" on her face. "So what exactly is the dumb rule, mom?"
Dea replied, "The Japanopolis school rule is that we cannot send two children who are within four years or less apart of age to their school, so they can prevent favoritism among siblings in the school system. They told me that they have had problems with it before and they regret that this is the case now. So you have to go to school with your friend Myrdramon."

Chapter 04
Saturday morning brought about both sides of the locals from Japanopolis. And that in itself was pretty strange in itself. The Sailor Scouts seemed very interested in Eunice, which was typical for Anime females. Larry was meeting up with Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh, two teachers who would be teaching him in his school.
As for Felix, he was serving refreshments to the visitors as the perpetual nobody. He was almost wishing that he had gone to Mythos Bay with his dad. But his mother had convinced him that perhaps he would meet some of the local teachers from his school. So far, however, they hadn't seen a single resident from Montropolis... at all.
"Mom?" Felix said. "I'm bored."
Dea hugged her son and said, "Okay, Felix. I guess we were wrong about your coming teachers. You can go inside and watch some TV. Maybe you can find some more caring cartoons to watch."
That statement literally got all of the Anime visitors attention, but they quickly began to wish that they hadn't turned to look at Mrs. Kornel because they were all then receiving that "look" that Dea was famous for having when she was upset. Felix chose not to wait to see what would happen to those people who earned that "look" as he went inside the house and turned on the TV and sat on the sofa with a sigh.
"I was excited about living here originally... now, I feel like I'm the family servant that no one cares about."
At that moment, a familiar Anime boy walked in from the kitchen and smiled at Felix. "Oh, I'm sorry. Is this the Kornel residence?" It was Ashley Ketchum of Pokemon fame.
Felix smiled and stood up. "Yeah, this is the right place. I'm Felix Kornel."
Ashley smiled and shook Felix's hand. "I will be one of your teachers this year. Sorry we were late. I had been having breakfast with Miles Prower and Tai when we were reminded that the welcoming committee was supposed to be coming up here today. I know you will like going to school in Montropolis."
At that moment, Miles Prower, Guilmon, Knuckles, and Pikachu came into the living room and greeted Felix with smiles.
Felix was happy now. He was getting to meet some of the greats of Montropolis. "Am I ever glad you guys showed up today. I was starting to get bored."
Knuckles said, "Where is your mom at, Felix?"
Felix winked at Knuckles, escorting him over to the front window curtain where they both peeked outside.
Standing in the front yard was Dea Kornel with her famous "look" on her face.
Knuckles whispered, "I hate to admit this but that "look" actually scares me."
Felix grinned and whispered back, "That is my mom's famous "look" that no one desires to get. You know you're in trouble when she makes that face. She is literally not the woman to cross when she gets like that." He then hugged Knuckles and pulled him away from window and returned to join the others once again.

Chapter 05
About an hour later, Felix was entertaining his guests in the kitchen of the farmhouse. At that moment, Unice and Ahab came inside from outdoors and immediately headed upstairs to Unice's room. Felix noted that his sister looked upset.
"I'll bet someone tried to pet Ahab."
Pikachu then spoke in English, but with an Japanese accent. "Ahab was the dog, I assume?"
Felix looked at the yellow Pokemon. "You can speak English? In the TV cartoon, you can only say your name."
Pikachu replied, "Human producers tend to only want the human stars to speak English or Japanese. If everything spoke fluently in the show, then the importance of the humans would be undermined. Therefore I choose to only speak fluently off camera. And in the Montropolis School System."
Felix looked to Ashley. "How do you feel about Pikachu talking?"
Ashley replied, "Oh he's a pro. A great actor. He's helped me many a time with my lines."
Felix nodded his head with a hum.
Miles came over with a glass of milk and said, "I am looking forward to see what classes you take in Montropolis, Felix."
Felix smiled at the two-tailed Kitsune. "I saw your son last night gathering shiny stones."
Miles grinned. "He was naughty so that was his punishment. He chose that over cleaning Sonic's toilet with a single paper towel." He winked.
Felix laughed out loud.
At that moment, Larry came into the kitchen and saw Felix's guests. "These guys are from Montropolis? I'm actually jealous, Felix! Your instructors are some of the most famous anime toons! Mine are some of the newer guys that I've almost never heard of!"
Felix turned to his brother. "Not my fault, Larry. By the way, what happened earlier with Ahab and Unice? We saw her and Ahab go through the kitchen and up the bedroom stairs."
Larry giggled at that point. That obviously meant it was a classic 'do not touch my dog' moment. "One of the Sailor Scouts tried to pet Ahab and Unice came unglued, like she usually does. The next thing we knew, the Sailor Scout was lying on the ground and Unice and Ahab were heading into the house, fast."
Knuckles chuckled. "About time one of those pompous Sailor Scouts took a fall. That should make Miyuki pretty happy when she hears about this."
Felix asked, "Who is Miyuki?"
Knuckles replied with a grin, "Miyuki Tsukino aka Dark Witch, a cousin of Sailor Moon. She's an interesting person."

Chapter 06
That evening at the dinner table, the Kornel family was gathered for a meal and Anthony was telling the others what his job was to be like in Mythos Bay.
"I don't see how they got anything done before I hired on there," Anthony remarked, as he spread some butter on his corn bread. "Ghosts, skeletons, and Skeletor himself roaming around the docks. And most interestingly, I'm Skeletor's superior on the job site itself. He walked me through the routine there. He was nothing like he is in the cartoons."
Dea said, "We met the teachers today, dear. They are a pretty okay bunch, but I trust Felix's teachers more than I do Larry's teachers."
Larry piped in, saying, "I totally agree, mom! They had shifty eyes! And they made you use your 'look'!"
Dea said, "Well, they treated Felix like he wasn't even there. And if it weren't for Felix, we wouldn't be living here at all."
Felix was eating quietly, but with a big smile on his face. He was kind of wondering who Slick and Sony were; the two others that Glitter had mentioned as being his and Myrdramon's buddies. Then he noticed everyone looking at him. "What?"
Anthony said, "Your mind was in the clouds, Felix. Dea just said that we wouldn't be here now if it weren't for you."
Felix chuckled. "I just got lucky, that's all. Besides, if my mind was in the clouds, the Superheroes of Meta-Star City would be splatting into it as they flew over on their patrols. Could you just imagine...?"
Dea cleared her throat. "Ahem. Not at the dinner table. Or do you want that... 'look'... tonight?"
Felix kept quiet after that.
Eunice finished her dinner, made some sign language briefly, then stood up and headed up toward her room with Ahab happily following her.
Larry then said, "Ahab and Eunice, sitting in a tree..."
Anthony wanted to warn his son that their mother was right there, but it was too late as Larry became the beholder of that special 'look' that no one wanted to get. Followed by that special 'scolding' that no one deserved to get.
Later that night, Anthony and Felix were seated in deck chairs on Felix's private deck in front of his bedroom over the stables. "This is a pretty quiet spot, Felix," said Anthony. "You have a nice arrangement out here."
Felix grinned. "I'm still surprised that my bedroom is actually out here with its own bathroom and away from the main house. It is almost like VIP quarters. And its a lot quieter in there than you might think, dad. I slept beautifully last night. Especially with my not having to hear Larry's snoring. He is worse than grandpa ever was."
Anthony chuckled. "I think he is worse than your mother..."
Felix giggled quietly. "You better watch your mouth, dad... you have to sleep with her tonight."

Chapter 07
Sunday morning was upon them before they knew it. And Felix heard someone knocking on his bedroom door. He got out of bed wearing just his undershorts and walked over to the door and opened it sleepily.
Standing on his deck was Myrdramon, the Digimon boy from next door. "Morning Felix. May I come in? Your mom told me you were up here."
Felix yawned and stepped out of the way, allowing the Digimon to come in. Then he closed the door and headed back toward his bed sleepily. Apparently, Felix was used to sleeping in on Sunday morning.
"Nice undershorts, Felix."
Felix stopped and blushed as he came awake immediately and looked over his shoulder at Myrdramon. "Um... how did you get in here...?" Having already forgot that he let the boy in.
Myrdramon chuckled. "You opened the door for me, silly. Glitter told me last night that you met him. He said you were really REALLY nice. Thanks for being polite to him. He is a good friend. Anyway, I came by today to help you with choosing your Montropolis High classes. I brought the schedule book, forms, and everything. Your mom said it was a good idea so you wouldn't waste a lot of time with this stuff on Monday morning."
Felix yawned again and sat on the bed, almost missing it. "Okay, come on over and sit down with me. Lets see these things. I normally sleep in on Sunday morning. Why are you up so early?"
Myrdramon came over and sat very close to Felix. "Mischief," he whispered. "Don't tell anyone..." Then aloud he said, "So... let's get your classes figured out."
Felix grinned. "My bedroom is soundproof, silly. Your whisper isn't going anywhere." He then looked in the schedule book at the classes for each hour. "Is this right, Myrdramon? Three classes in the morning and only two in the afternoon?"
Myrdramon looked and grinned back. "It is for you. Digimon and Pokemon have three in the afternoon. The last hour class is called Team Fighting. Its where your human partner and your Digimon or Pokemon work out for grades and improvements. Because you have no partner, you are being excused from having to take that class. You can have a study hall hour if you want or go to the Ice Cream Arcade and have a snack or play some games for prizes."
Felix nodded his head quietly. Getting to get out of school an hour before everyone else sounded pretty awesome to him.
Myrdramon said, "See anything you want to take?"
Felix began filling out his classes form. "I think I want Digimon History the first hour; Manga Literature the second hour; Animathematics for the third hour; then its lunch; Digital Sciences the fourth hour; and Toon Physics the fifth hour. And because I don't have a partner, I get out of school after Toon Physics and I can go to the Ice Cream Arcade and you can meet me there when you're done and we can come home together."
Myrdramon grinned and licked Felix's face. "You got that out of the way pretty fast."
Felix made a face. "Ewwwww!!! Don't do that, Myrdramon!"
End of Chapter 07
Chapter 08
That afternoon, and well after Myrdramon had departed, Felix received another visitor. This time it was a real human male teenager of an older age than himself. "Hi. Are you Felix Kornel?"
Felix had been helping Dea plant flowers out in front of the farm house. "Yeah, that's me. Who are you?"
The young man smiled, as he opened his cloak and brought out a suitcase and set it on the ground in front of Felix. "My name is Gerard Prince and a mutual friend told me that you needed some extra clothes."
"Oh I have plenty of clothes..." he started to say.
But Gerard quickly interrupted him by saying, "...Zecma."
Felix stopped talking immediately and smiled widely. "Zecma sent you? WOW! I wasn't sure if he remembered me or not! Of course I'll accept clothes from Zecma! He really saved our family when we needed it!"
Gerard then said, "He was working for me at the time, Felix. Doing good deeds for twelve young people who really deserved an open break to make a new life. He told me about you guys, and because I was preparing for college and I had some extra clothes that I knew would fit you, I brought them over. If nothing else, I would like you to wear my lucky shirt on your first day of school. Zecma has even ridden on the shoulders of it. I met my best and most trustworthy friends while wearing this shirt. And I want you to have that kind of luck, too."
Dea stood up and smiled. "That is very kind of you, Mr. Prince."
Gerard smiled back. "And you must be Dea Kornel. I helped Simba make the arrangements for your new home and that is how I know your name. I've been hearing that your eyes are famous." He winked with a grin.
Dea laughed. "Oh you mean my special 'look'? I only do that to people who upset me."
Gerard then said, "Then you might use it on me. I heard you had a daughter with a special problem. Would you care to tell me about that?"
Dea almost gave him that 'look' right then and there, but instead, she said, "Eunice lost her ability to speak because of electrical trauma to her throat. She has to use sign language to communicate. And the bastard welfare people want to take her away from us. But she has Ahab and she will beat up anyone who tries to harm Ahab."
Gerard smiled and calmly said, "I know how to cure your daughter, but I cannot do it myself."
Dea's eyes opened wide at that statement. "How? Please tell me." He had her full attention now.
Gerard replied, "Eunice simply needs to see or experience someone else getting the same kind of electrical trauma she had and the shock of seeing it happen will restore her ability to speak. As I said, I cannot make it happen myself."
While Dea was thanking Gerard for the information, Felix was opening the suitcase. "Where is this lucky shirt, Gerard?"
Gerard replied with a smile, "Immediately on top of the rest, Felix. I know you'll enjoy wearing it."
End of Chapter 08
Chapter 09
Monday brought forth the first day of school for the boys. Eunice and Dea were staying at the farm house, while Anthony had already left for work in Mythos Bay. The boys were at the mailbox awaiting their buses. And Felix was wearing the lucky shirt that Gerard Prince had given him.
Larry grinned when he saw his 'bus' coming. Except it wasn't a bus at all it was a fancy gold limousine. "Looks like I'm riding to school in style, Felix. I bet you have a clunky old school bus." But Larry was about to lose his smile entirely.
Bounding over the fences came the famous blue furred digimon, Garurumon, and he had a saddle on his back without a rider. "Which one of you boys is Felix?" he asked.
Felix raised his hand with a grin. "That's me. But you don't look like a clunky old school bus." Then he winked and made a pointed motion secretly toward his brother.
Garurumon laughed. "I sure hope not, Felix. I'm your personal daily escort to school from now on. Aren't I the lucky wolf?"
Larry was of course very JEALOUS! Not only did he have to SHARE a ride to school in a gold limousine, but his ride had to stay on the roads. He huffed and got into the gold limousine.
Felix was still giggling as he climbed up into the saddle on Garurumon and strapped himself in. "Okay, I'm set! Let's go!"
And Garurumon then bounded back over the fences from the direction he had come from, heading south toward Montropolis.
At Montropolis High School, Felix walked into the otherwise normal looking school building, but on the inside, the hallways was anything BUT normal. There were male and female versions of young anime humans, Pokemon, and Digimon all milling around to and from their lockers and their class rooms. Many were chatting in the main hallway, and the rest simply hanging out with their friends.
"This...is...zany," said Felix as he got over his shock of his school. He then began heading off toward the principals office where he was slated to receive his locker assignment and finalization on his chosen classes.
"What do you mean that I can't take Digital Sciences in my fourth hour?"
Principal Agumon replied, "Digital Sciences is filled to capacity in the fourth hour, Felix. You'll have to take Toon Physics in your fourth hour and take Digital Sciences next year. I am sorry."
"What am I supposed to take in my fifth hour then?" asked Felix.
Principal Agumon said, "All fifth hour classes are filled except for two. Anime Sewing and Digivice Dynamics. Anime Sewing is about filled, but its mainly females. Digivice Dynamics surprisingly have very few students in it. Three at last count."
Felix arched an eye. "Why so few?"
Principal Agumon shrugged his shoulders. "I really don't know. I always liked Digivices."
Felix hummed. "Okay, I'll take Digivice Dynamics. But its sort of pointless for me. I don't have a partner."
End of Chapter 09
Chapter 10
Felix soon was walking into his fifth hour class: Digivice Dynamics. He thought it was kind of lame that he had to take this one because of spacing limitations in the other classes. And so far, the lucky shirt was not proving to be very lucky at all. In fact, things were about to get completely out of paw, as the saying goes.
Inside the classroom was a tall slender male drakogoyle (Slick), a rainbow colored male hedgehog with green eyes (Sony), and a random female "Renamon" wearing red gloves instead of the standard purple.
Felix said, "Huh? Now I know this will be a strange class. I'm overdressed."
Slick grinned at the human boy. "Hey look guys! We got a new classmate!"
Sony glanced over at the boy. "Looks like someone Sonic would molest."
Renamon stepped over and shook Felix's hand. "Ignore those two clueless twits. Slick and Sony are only in the class because they flunked it last year. I'm here because this class is required for my upcoming degree."
Felix looked at the other two. "You two are Slick and Sony? Myrdramon and Glitter both spoke pretty highly about you two, but now that I've met you, I don't get that sensation at all."
Slick and Sony were abashed now. This was obviously the boy that their two friends had mentioned and they just blew their first impression to the boy. But Slick was aiming to make up for it.
A few moments later, their teacher, Mr. Mendelson, came in and handed out prototype digivices to the four students. "These were the hand-held prototypes to the later series of Digivices known as Virtual-Action Gauntlet Digivices, or VAGs. The prototypes are, of course, disabled from the digital grid, therefore... they are safe to use in our teaching lessons. Let me demonstrate." And he pointed his prototype at Renamon and pushed the button.
Nothing happened, of course.
"As you can see, they are without their power sources. Now, I would like you to practice pointing your prototype digivice at each other and call out the classmate's name and the word Digivolve. I will grade you based on the realism of your conviction in this exercise."
Felix was doing exactly as he was told, pointing at each of the others and flawlessly shouting out the correct phrase each time. Renamon and Sony were also each doing as told, though Slick noticed that the two non-humans were not pointing at Felix, which he decided to remedy right away, so the boy wouldn't feel left out.
Slick pointed his prototype digivice at the human boy and shouted, "Felix digivolve to..." and he pressed the button!
And suddenly, the unexpected happened, as Felix's shirt pocket suddenly erupted in a digital burst of white light which totally enveloped the boy and in the next instant, Felix shot across the room in a beam of light and was sucked into the prototype digivice!
Slick was so scared by what just happened that he accidentally dropped the prototype and... it shattered when it hit the floor!
In the now broken mini-screen lying on the floor, a now naked Felix was screaming, "GET ME OUT OF HERE!"
End of Chapter 10
Chapter 11
When Myrdramon heard what had happened, he was very upset with his school chums. He and his family had to live right next door to the Kornels, and he had seen first hand just what the eyes of Dea Kornel could do to the unsuspecting fool who got on her bad side. He quickly got Principal Agumon and together they rushed to the fifth hour classroom.
Therein, Slick looked pitifully apologetic while the others were trying to calm down the entrapped Felix.
Principal Agumon and Myrdramon joined Mr. Mendelson in the attempt to re-assemble the broken digivice screen pieces. It was like a jigsaw puzzle with both straight and pointed edges. While they worked, Mr. Mendelson explained to Principal Agumon and Myrdramon on what exactly had happened, step by step, and in full detail. He had never seen anything like it before.
Felix had long since stopped shouting, and was sitting on the floor with his back to the wall of the digital containment room in which he sat within the now broken digivice screen. "...i wanna go home..." came the whimpering sobs.
Myrdramon said, "We're doing everything we can to get you out of there, Felix. I promise."
"...i wanna go home..."
Myrdramon sighed. "Come on, Felix. Please don't cry. This was some sort of accident, that's all. I promise I'll take you home myself. Just try to remain calm and don't cry."
Renamon then returned with one of the VAG Digivice Gloves, fully powered up, and ready for usage. "I got it, just like you asked, Mr. Mendelson. What are you going to do with it?"
Mr. Mendelson replied, "Once we get this screen re-assembled, we will use the glove to transfer Felix over into the VAG's containment chamber. Then once he's there, we will be able to simply bring him back out once again, without any harm to Felix whatsoever."
Principal Agumon suddenly said, "There's a piece missing. It isn't here."
Everyone was now searching the room for that final piece of the screen and it was soon found... by Slick. "Here it is. Just fix everything so I can apologize and start over, okay? I just wanted to make a good impression on Felix; not do THIS to him."
With the screen fixed, Felix was transferred over to the VAG Glove, but the moment he was inside the glove, the VAG changed its color to totally white and an element symbol appeared on the glove. It was the element of Light. And soon after that, Felix was out once again and he was given the VAG Glove as a gift for enduring those few moments of humiliation.
And he was still, unfortunately, naked. Felix blushed with shame, as he sobbed some more. He was standing naked with a strange Digimon girl looking at him. Renamon was being referred to, but still, she was a girl.
Myrdramon said, "I'll take Felix back home now, Principal Agumon. Please do NOT call his mother about this. You really don't want that 'look' of hers. I'll get Garurumon to make the trip with us."
And he put an arm around his friend and led him out of the classroom.
For a first day of school, this was the worst. And Felix never wanted to go again.

Chapter 12
It was now late that evening. Felix was glad to be back in his bedroom in his own bed, though he felt totally humiliated. Of course when Dea found out what had happened, a good many teachers and students at the school were getting that 'look' that no one ever wanted to get.
"I'll never be able to show my face in public again. I wish I was with Zecma..."
Just then, a voice made an unexpected comment. "You don't really want that. Believe me." It was Zecma. And he was in Felix's room having dinner on a floating platter. "I heard about the incident today, Felix. I am looking into the incident to see exactly what happened. But you're going to have to go back to school if you still want that carnival/circus job I promised you this Summer. I haven't forgotten."
Felix sniffled. "But I was butt naked in school. I even lost Gerard's lucky shirt."
Zecma floated over and hugged the boy gently. "Better a shirt than your life. Want me to spend the night with you, Felix?"
Felix sniffled again. "Would you please?"
Zecma nodded and hugged Felix again. "Of course I will, Felix. We're friends, after all. Just let me finish my dinner."
Inside the main house, Dea and Anthony were having a talk about the day's events, as they rested in their shared bed.
"...and the school is still investigating the incident with the prototype digivice," said Dea.
Anthony said, "They had no immediate explanation whatsoever?"
Dea shook her head. "I couldn't get them to tell me anything. That's when I used my 'look' on them. They earned it. They humiliated Felix and made him feel totally embarrassed."
Anthony said, "When did the doc say that Larry would get that glob of tar off of his hands?"
Dea grinned. "A few days. I got to embarrass him tonight. Feeding him like a little baby in front of his siblings."
Later that night, Dea and Anthony were awoken to the sound of Ahab barking loudly and howling loudly.
Anthony sat up. "What in the Hell can be up with that dog at this hour?" He immediately got out of bed, stepping into his slippers and housecoat, and left the bedroom to find where Ahab was barking and howling from. As Anthony walked into Eunice's bedroom, he saw an ugly looking anime creature glaring in the window at the sleeping Eunice.
And that was as far as the glaring stare got, as Anthony surged forth and power punched the ugly creature in both eyes, sending it flailing down to the driveway just out front of the house with a sickening splat!
Anthony smiled back at the sheepdog. "Good job, Ahab. Protect Eunice."
Ahab nodded his head and barked once, then got back on the bed and curled up quietly to protect his mistress.
Anthony pulled the shutters closed, locked them, then closed and locked the window, as well. He then left the bedroom.
