Winter's Worth
#1 of Winter's Worth
This one took a while to finish up; but as always, faves, comments, and votes are always greatly appreciated.
Edit: 5/25/2020. Removed zoophilia tag. Now that I'm looking at this, here is a little synopsis. This story series is about Johann a human and Silvia a 'non-Anthro' she wolf who Johann befriends.
Johann shivered in his boots blowing warm breath, now visible, onto his thinly gloved hands. He was surprised at how fast the sun had gone down, along with the temperature. Who would expect that in late October? By now it must have been below freezing, seeing the snow flurries whisk around him in the visible light of the full moon. It cast eerie shadows creating an almost black and white scenery along the deciduous forest around him, an illusion that reminded him too much of a horror movie. Johann had moved into the cozy cabin when his parents bought a beach house to comfortably live out the rest of their retirement. After settling in for a few days, he figured it to be a good idea to explore the surrounding trails around the base of the mountains. He quickly became lost traversing a little ways off one trail to follow a stream. His coat was doing little to warm his shivering body. It was more like walking through a nightmare, only all the sights and sounds were too real for such a possibility. Walking aimlessly, snapping twigs and crunching leaves, he noticed it was very quiet except for the occasional howl of the wind.
He stopped resting against a tree thinking of what to do. His thoughts were interrupted by a chilling howl somewhere deeper in the forest. The hair on his neck stood on end, his back pressed against the tree straining his ears to reassure himself it was the wind. He could feel his heart pounding against his chest ready to run at any moment. A wolf out here was unheard of to him. Taking a deep breath, he thought it was only his unruly imagination playing a mere trick on him until he heard a second bone chilling howl clearer, much closer, than the first one. Gazing up at the full moon slowly, Johann broke into a blinding sprint through the abysmal darkness. Ducking from low hanging branches, and nearly running into trees, he was terrified to the core. He heard snapping of sticks and crunching of leaves somewhere around him. Desperately taking a sharp left he found himself nearly waist deep in a large stream. Hearing a splash nearby made him cut through the water like a knife. Tearing through the trees with blinding clumsy speed, branches tore at his jacket and exposed flesh.
Above the thumping of his boots on the earthen ground, and sloshing of his soaked pants he could make out panting noises all too close to him. His nose and throat burned from the frigid air being streamlined into his lungs. While attempting to look behind to get a view of his pursuer, he slipped on a stick that rolled under his boot, arms flailing in cold air desperately in vain trying to grab hold of something to catch himself. The back of his head landed on a large rock knocking him unconscious and completely helpless as a shadowy figure skidded to a halt behind him.
Johann slowly woke up, he wiggled his nose not feeling the cold biting wind of outside. He shifted under what felt to be a heavy fuzzy comforter. The back of his head throbbed. He remembered being lost around sundown, but everything after that was a blur. He reached around to pull up a blanket that he just couldn't find. Opening his eyes frustrated, he froze, this looked nothing like his bedroom or any other room in his house. Earthen walls surrounded him on three sides, with a small tunnel at a steep incline to his right. There was just enough light poking through to see around. He was laying on a large red blanket covering a mattress of leaves rustling beneath him.
"It's good to see that your awake now," said a soft harmonious voice of liquid silk. Johann looked down, eyes wide as saucers, watching the furry mass rise off his legs and waist revealing a head followed by four legs and a tail. From the dim lighting he could tell it was a wolf, and a very big one at that! The beast was probably no less than four feet high at the shoulders with dark grey fur coating it's entire body. Johann, scared out of his wits, was speechless with his mouth agape. "Don't worry, I won't eat you." said the wolf in a distinctly feminine voice. "But you may want to calm down if you cherish your head so much." Attempting to sit up and contemplate how to escape and what was said, coherent thoughts were abruptly halted, his head throbbed and roared in protest, it felt like someone was playing Dvorak's New World Symphony in the confined space of his brain. He eased back down onto the blanket with a grunt as the pain started to subside slowly.
"How did I get here?" he groaned holding his head as if it were about to fall off.
"I carried you after you slipped and hit your head running from me." Johann remembered the eerie howl from last night and shuddered.
"I've never been so scared in my life." She approached him and sat next to his head, towering over him. He felt a black nose touch his, feeling powerful blasts of warm air against his face. He shuddered, "What kind of wolf are you that can talk?" Johann swore she made a snickering noise at him.
"Well then consider yourself lucky that I was the one following you." Ignoring her smart remark, he felt goosebumps start to form on his skin. Teeth chattering, he felt the cooler air around him rush in contact with his skin. Skin?
"Where are my clothes?!" He yelled out starting to panic, looking around in the dimly lit den.
"They won't be dry for a while, or warm," she said. He laid still trying to remember when he fell into the creek while running. The she-wolf continued, "The light snow from last night has already melted, it may not be summer but your clothes should dry just fine out in the sunlight."
"But I'll freeze by then!" The wolf walked over to his legs and laid down, parallel on top of him, covering him with her warm fluffy fur from his mid-section to toe.
"I think you will manage," she said smugly. Her fur did feel heavenly against his skin, despite how awkward the situation seemed to him. "By the way, what's your name?" she asked him prodding his chest lightly with a very large paw.
"Ugh, Yo... Johann, my names Johann." He said rubbing his temples, clearing away any fogginess left hanging over his head.
"My name is Silvia, I wish these were better circumstances, but it's nice to meet you," She said introducing herself.
"That's a beautiful name for a scary wolf," he remarked.
"This scary wolf saved your life," she said happy at her own accomplishment, folding her paws over his chest to rest her head. Johann was a little unnerved with a giant wolf on him, but she did help by saving and even now caring for him.
"So why are you all the way out here in the woods? I've never heard of wolves living way out here."
"Well, I could ask you the same thing, I haven't seen a human in this part of the woods before," she replied.
'Touché,' Johann thought to himself. "But don't wolves live in packs?" he asked.
"I guess but I don't remember much since I was little, and my den would be very crowded and uncomfortable," she remarked shifting on top of him. Johann wasn't too sure how to feel, relieved, scared, or curious, maybe a little of all three. They remained silent for a while listening to each other breathing, only to be interrupted by a yawn escaping Johann's mouth. He heard and felt an amused rumbling noise from Silvia's throat, "You should get as much sleep as possible, and don't worry, I'll be right here when you wake up so you won't freeze." She closed her eyes. Johann followed suit trying his best to imagine she was only a large fuzzy blanket, not a wolf that could easily kill him. Surprisingly enough, sleep came fast.
Johann woke up very warm and comfortable, almost mistaking it all for his bed again. Stretching in place, he felt her warmth and the crinkling of the leaves underneath. He looked in front of himself to see a pair of eyes staring right back in a mock predatory glare. A shiver chilled his spine able to see the outline of her mysterious eyes.
Silvia spoke up, "Its a little after noon, so I'm going to head out and catch something to eat." Silvia's body rose off his and stretched before heading to the entrance of the den. Crawling up to the top, he saw her tail disappear from view. The air was warmer now, but he still felt very cozy from her thick winter coat covering him. Without a need to shiver for warmth, Johann took a closer more observant look of the den around. The dark earthen floor was compact and cool, having been used for at least a few years. The walls were indeed similar, but with a lighter hue of dirt brown. Wondering how much longer he would have to stay in this position, the urge to get up and leave was very tempting. With a big sigh, he stared up at the ceiling of the den wondering what the odds were of a wolf saving him from certain hypothermia.
'She's very kind to take a stranger like me in her den,' he thought crumpling a dried leaf in his hands, 'But what if she doesn't catch anything to eat?' Spare time passed for quite a while before the snapping of a tree limb cracked through the silent air, making him shudder. Johann looked over to the tunnel hearing a few noises before seeing Silvia waltz in towards him. He watched her skilled tongue clean off the now bloody muzzle, yawning in satisfaction of having a full meal.
"Another successful hunt," she laid down next to him stretching before settling back again, her massive paws near his head. Johann's stomach was painfully empty.
"If your not going to eat me, what will I eat?" He nervously asked.
Her ears perked up. "Do you want some of the deer I caught earlier?" Johann realized there was a problem.
"I can't eat raw meat, I'm human, it needs to be cooked." Both were stumped for a while thinking of what to do. Johann, resigned, sighed hoping the hunger pains would just stop.
"I have an idea!" Silvia exclaimed.
"I'm game for anything," he said.
"Ok, just hear me out on this... I haven't had cubs before but I'm sure I can produce milk if you try-."
Johann cut her off, "Woah! I didn't literally mean anything, that's out of the question." She rolled onto her side next to him.
"As far as I see it, thats your only option." Johann's stomach growled urging him on to do something, but he wasn't expecting such an idea. A good minute passed before he made up his troubled mind.
"Alright, I'll try it," he sighed, seeing no other solution, almost able to feel Silvia smile at his response.
"Can you turn over?" she asked.
"I don't know." He was afraid of straining himself, which would easily delay his departure time.
"Fine, just hold still and I won't suffocate you." Silvia stood up and padded over Johann, one large paw a few inches away from each side of his head lining herself up. He stared up at a wall of dark fluff slowly descending down towards him. He could smell her tender earthy scent as the thick fur made contact with his face. The soft underfur brought warmth to his body as her belly touched his nose, signaling a stop in her descent. "Tell me if I need to move any," he heard her voice above his head. He moved his hands through the maze of soft darkness in search of a small nub.
Grazing something below his chin he called out, "Move up a little please." After she shifted, Johann was staring at where his next meal would come from. It was large, but what else could he expect from a giant wolf? He could tell it was a lighter color of skin than the dark fur coloring, but it was tough observation under the present lighting. Taking a big sigh, he swallowed his pride and drew his lips around the teat and tenderly started suckling like a helpless newborn pup. It felt strange having the nipple in his mouth, with that strange skin like texture it had. Nothing happened at first, receiving only emptiness, giving Johann a sense of doubt that it was all pointless. Suddenly a few drops hit his tongue, he paused for a moment before continuing with renewed vigor until a thin stream of the substance was drawn out with each amount of suction applied. The milk itself was mostly bland having a slight dairy taste that he was used to with a creamy texture. Not in any way unpalatable for him, but strangely quite delicious. Silvia relaxed and murred, liking the light stimulation he was creating. She felt an almost motherly instinct take over, pressing down a little more, burying him to shield away the colder air.
Johann, content with the situation, was able to breath through the thick undercoating and continue feeding like a pup. Leaves rustled as his weight was shifted back against the red blanket. His hands were placed around her to signal he was fine and to stop moving any further. He drank down mouthful after mouthful of the warm satisfying liquid letting only his appetite guide him. A thin trail of white dribbled from his lips down his chin from over eagerness. It seemed strange at first, but the more he drank, the more he wanted, and the soothing feeling kept increasing. He soon became full gulping down a final amount, feeling sleepy from his new satisfied stomach. Moving his arms to his side, Johann closed his eyes starting to fall asleep, lips still loosely clung around her engorged teat still leaking a tiny amount of milk. After a minute or so, Silvia wondered what was going on. She stood up, un-latching herself from him, and looked down amused at the sight she saw. Bending down, she licked away the trickle left behind on Johann receiving a sleepy murmur from him. Silvia quietly padded away.
'I'll get the clothes now, they're probably done drying off,' She crawled out the tunnel leaving Johann to sleep happily through the rest of the afternoon.
Rolling onto his side, he paused and remembered something. Johann opened his eyes.
'My head isn't throbbing anymore!' Moving to his back, he started to sit up before he felt a clawed paw press onto his chest lightly.
"Don't get ahead of yourself," Silvia said to him, "Your going to have to rest until tomorrow if you want to walk home." She pressed forward a bit more so that he was laying back down on the blanket. Looking down, he saw her laying on top of his legs watching carefully.
'How did I not notice she was there?' Silvia got up and sat next to a few new items to his right. Strewn across the floor next to him we're all his clothes and even his boots.
"Put on what you can without standing all the way up, I don't want you to fall over," She told him in an almost too motherly voice. Johann put on everything he could except for his jacket and boots and sat Indian style on the blanket, comfortably warm without any outside help.
"Thanks... for everything Silvia," he said to her, embarrassed from originally thinking she would actually kill and eat him.
"It's no problem at all." She went over and sat looking down at him. He wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug for a few seconds before pulling back.
"What was that?" she asked him tilting her head.
"It's a friendly gesture, like a Thank You."
"Oh, all you had to do was this," she said rubbing her muzzle along his cheek, her whiskers making his skin tingle. She gave a quick lick before settling back, laying down on the edge of the red blanket. "The sun is starting to go down, you can feed now if your hungry," ending her statement presenting her belly forward. Johann coyly grinned at how she said feed, and eased down laying parallel with her. After finding one, Johann parted a small spot of fur, latched on, and ate his fill. He started falling asleep in the same manner as before with an arm draped over her side. Silvia giggled quietly, pulled him in closer and went to sleep herself.
Johann woke up feeling a hard claw prodding his cheek. Grunting, he shifted around and looked up at Silvia standing before him.
"Ready to go home now?" He was it itching to stand up and walk again. "Take it easy, I'll be waiting outside if you need me." With that said she went through the tunnel while he scrambled getting ready. Johann laced up his still somewhat damp boots, and zipped up his jacket. He stood up slowly, his head registered the change correctly without any pain to be felt, or paws to stop him. Joints crackled and popped as he stood up stretching out all his muscles with renewed freshness. He eased his way over to the tunnel following her out. Stooping down to climb up the steep grade, Johann found himself poking his head back into the world above ground. All the colors of the late fall forest were much brighter then he remembered, but most of it was a type of brown. Scaling out of the slope, he stood up taking his first few steps forward. He spotted tah large wolf waiting by a tree, and out in the full sunlight, he finally had a good look of Silvia. All of her fur was a variation of grey, even black in some places, but her paws had varying degrees of white on them. She had heterochromatic eyes, one a dull light grey, the other an icy blue, giving her an almost mythical omniscient appearance.
But her size stood out the most. His guess at four feet high at the shoulders was only an inch or two overestimated. Her eyes were close to being level with his while standing fully erect, but her ears probably exceeded his height of five seven.
"I think I will lead the way if you don't mind," she stated amusingly.
"Fine by me." Johann followed behind her through the seemingly uniform indistinguishable trees. Not much else was said on their trek back home. He breathed in the clean earthy forest scent that was very similar to hers, truly feeling in the middle of the wild, even part of it. Passing by so many "landmarks" as Silvia called them, he tried to remember as many as possible while not falling over the rugged terrain, but she might as well of been talking in a foreign language to him that only most hikers would possibly know. Stumbling on the millionth tree root, they came upon what he recognized as his back yard. A large pine tree donned right in the middle of the open space confirmed it. Running forward, Johann was happy to finally be back at home, his home. He slowed down nearing his porch steps, remembering not to over exert himself to stupidly. Silvia followed him but slowed down, eventually stopping behind him as he started walking up the porch steps. Johann paused halfway to the top looking back to see the great wolf sitting in the lush grass.
"Well, I'll be heading back to the forest now, stay safe if you go hiking again." She started to walk back.
"Aren't you coming in?" she heard Johann say. Silvia halted in mid stride and turned around.
"You want a wolf in Your den?" she asked perplexed.
"Well you let me into your home and helped me, why can't I return the favor?" He sounded firm in his offer, so why not? She was curious as to how people used a giant above ground den of sorts compared to her compact cozy underground home.
"Alright, I'll stay for a while, as long as I'm not too much of a burden."
"Nonsense," he proclaimed, "you saved my life, its the least I can do." With that being spoken, Silvia followed him clacking her claws on the wooden steps along the way. Johann opened the door for her, despite her large size, she glided through the doorway into the living room. Stepping in after her, he closed the door handle watching the curious wolf scan the layout before her. He threw his worn jacket into the laundry room for later. Like any good neighbor, Johann showed her around the large cabin barraged constantly with questions.
"Your den looks comfortable, especially the bedding." Silvia said walking back into the kitchen behind him.
"Well, king size beds are wonderful to sleep on, much better than a bedding of leaves."
She nosed his back playfully, "I thought you enjoyed your stay at my den."
He laughed, "Yeah, just something I'm not entirely used to though."
"And why don't you have that soft carpet all over the floor instead of this hard surface?" she asked.
"My parents had this place built, not me, but either way it would take a while to install all of it, and a hassle to clean." She watched him prepare a roast before putting it in the oven. "Alright, I'll go take a shower," he tapped the top of the stove, "the roast should be done just in time for dinner, and you can do whatever until then." Silvia looked over her own pelt wondering if she was in need of a bath. Johann walked into his room, picked out a set of night clothes, and went into the bathroom. Preparing everything, he turned on the water and shucked off the old clothes before jumping in. It was great to wash away all the dirt with hot water, never having thought himself so graced to see a bar of soap nearby. Rinsing the last of the suds, he noticed a blurry grey image across the glass shower door. He opened the door and Silvia's head poked in.
"Do you want me to take a shower?" she asked.
"Why? You groom yourself don't you?" He replied perplexed.
"Yeah but don't I smell bad?"
"Huh? No! Your fine," he said patting her head with a wet hand, "Even if you did, I would still prefer your natural earthy tone." Wagging her tail, she trotted out. He closed the foggy shower door, 'She must get really lonely out in the woods,' he thought, 'then again, I'm in the same boat as her.' Cutting the shower off, he dried himself and dressed in t-shirt and loose cotton pants. Returning to the kitchen, he found Silvia staring intently at the oven.
Sniffing the air she asked Johann, "When will it be ready? It smells great."
"We've got a while before its finished," he said grabbing a seat at the table. They talked for a while on just about anything to pass the time until the oven dinged signaling that dinner was ready. Johann didn't bother cooking anything else, not that he was lazy, but just happy to have something different than milk. Carving out a good sized piece for himself, he left the rest for Silvia. Setting both plates on the table he announced, "Dig in!" She used the chair to stand on with her front paws, before craning her neck and eating her portion in only a few wet sloppy bites. Table manners weren't abided by strongly by Johann, but it didn't surprise him very much.
"Oh, that was delicious!" she yelped licking the plate and her lips clean.
"Glad you like it so much," he said chuckling to himself, eating much slower trying to savor the taste. Silvia yawned looking towards the setting sun.
"Is it alright if I sleep in your den?" she asked. He paused, realizing she rose and fell by the sun, putting the plates into the sink.
"Sure, as long as you don't howl at night, or I may not be able to sleep." Despite being an early riser, it was early for Johann to be going to bed, but he didn't mind. She followed him back to his bedroom, moving aside as he shut the door. He stripped off his shirt, tossing it behind him, and crawled into the bed. Silvia climbed in after him on the mattress, adjusting to the squishiness of the springs.
"There must be something very soft under here," she said starting to lay down.
"Lets just go to sleep, too many questions for today," he mumbled sleepily. Johann saw a large leg poke under his neck through the open space, feeling a few tufts of fur reaching his back. Closing his eyes, he felt her head resting atop his on the pillow. 'Hopefully she won't let me role over,' he thought slowly descending into dreamland.
Johann squirmed in place, the air felt wet and warm.
'What kind of dream am I having now?' he thought trying to wake up. Wanting to wake yourself from a dream at the beach knowing it was winter seemed ridiculous. 'Wasn't I going to eat some fruit?' he contemplated trying to gain control of the once lucid dream. It was rare whenever he could catch a lucid dream, but that sun or something was bathing his face with strange humidity. With a groan, Johann cracked his eyes open slowly, only to close one quickly as a large tongue swept over him. "What's going on?" he groaned out, feeling a very furry pillow against his face.
"I thought you would never wake up!" Silvia exclaimed looking down at him. Johann's eyes focused seeing a forest of grey directly in front of him. "But if you liked my milk that much all you had to do was ask," she added. Confused, he closed his lips feeling a familiar sensation on the end. Moving back slightly, he looked down noticing a pink teat poking out at his mouth expectantly. His face flushed red.
'Did I just-'
Silvia interrupted his thought, "I wouldn't mind if you did though," she quickly added protruding her belly forward slightly. Feeling embarrassed, Johann quickly untangled himself from the snare of wolf limbs and sheets sitting up.
"How about I make breakfast instead," he offered getting out of bed quickly, failing to see her ears splayed back in rejection. She watched him dress then leave, staying on the bed until a few minutes passed smelling something really tasty from the kitchen. Jumping off with a thud Silvia padded in, claws clicking along the wooden floor, noticing him working over something sizzling on the stove. "I think you'll like bacon just as much, if not, more than dinner last night," he said flipping a few pieces over.
"It smells like you might be right," she said nosing between his shoulder blades. Scooping the crispy pieces onto a plate, he set them on the edge of the table for her, keeping two for himself. They soon disappeared followed by a satisfied lip smacking noise. "I wish what I hunted tasted like this!" Johann cleaned out the pan talking for once about her lifestyle. "I do miss the softer ground beneath my paws," She claimed flexing her nails over the sturdy surface looking down.
"Are you feeling homesick?" he asked a little amused.
"I guess, do you mind if I go now?" The words seemed to come out regrettably but earnest.
"I'm glad you stayed this long, hold on I'll get my stuff and see you out," he finished walking off to a hall closet. Coming back suited up, he led her out the back door to the deck. The cool air bit uncomfortably at Johann's face, 'It snowed again?' Walking onto the lightly white covered surface she looked back at him,
"Stay warm, it's going to be a rough winter."
"I will, and if your den gets too cold, just stop by for a while," he added adjusting his boots in the crunchy snow.
"I'll keep that in mind," Silvia replied wagging her tail facing the forest. Johann watched her walk down his back yard before disappearing beyond his sight. Shivering from the cold, he went back inside. His skin warmed up pretty fast sitting down on the couch, but pit of unknown coldness formed in his gut. Picking up an old newspaper, he tried reading to take his mind off of things for a while. Time passed, but focusing on the bland opaque stories wasn't possible, he felt restless. Johann stared at the dead fireplace, the empty feeling growing the longer his gaze remained. Folding up the newspaper, he got up from the cold couch with a big sigh walking towards the window. Her fresh paw prints molded like frozen artwork in the snow. He thought about running out to find her and offer another stay, but she was long gone by now.
'She's a wolf! I can't have these kinds of feelings for her.' Johann shook off the loneliness watching the cloudless blue sky, imagining the torrents of snow that would blanket the area not too long from now.
The early snowfall did prove to be only the beginning of a cold winter. There was already one big snowstorm by middle November, and another one was expected to slam the area soon, even though it was only the first week of December. With this in mind, Johann planned a quick hike through a trail which he knew by heart now since his mishap nearly two months ago. Lacing up his last boot, he set out the back door crunching through the three inch layer of snow fresh from last night. Walking by the large pine tree in his yard, he noticed the sun was lightly masked by a thin cloud, the first of many that would be traveling through the region later. Entering the edge of the forest, it was dead silent, the only thing to be heard were the soft crunches of hiking boots in the snow. The powdery substance itself was placed upon every branch and twig so delicately. If Johann merely whispered a word, everything would shatter in fashion of a thin pane of glass. The scenery was one of the main reasons he moved here in the first place. Continuing his walk, he reached the halfway point marked by a fallen tree split in half.
Walking back, he noticed something in the distance. He moved forward following his old set of footprints he had made a few minutes ago. A couple of yards away from his, there was another set of tracks. Approaching carefully, it looked more like someone was dragging them self instead of walking in a clear cut path. The pathway was marred with a few drops of crimson red. He spotted an undisturbed footprint in the snow, it looked very similar to-
"Silvia!" he gasped, quickly standing up sprinting in her direction without thinking of getting lost. Sliding and falling a few times only made him more determined to find her. The trail wasn't in a straight line, making the run more of a complicated weaving pattern. Approaching the tree line that met his yard, he spotted her limping up his lawn to his house. Her beautiful grey black fur starkly contrasted against the white powdery fluff, encasing the landscape that even a blind man could see. "Hey! Silvia!" he shouted running towards her. Briefly, he was met by an agitated scowl upon the sudden intrusion. Her hard gaze immediately softened seeing him approach. "Silvia what happened?!" He asked coming to her side. She leaned against him as he kneeled by her side trying his best not to slip down the snowy hill. Holding up her front right paw, he could see the damage that had been done. There were a few pieces of wood sticking out clotted together into a hemoglobin icicle of dirty fur. Most of it was in between the pads, but there was a smaller spot above on the leg without as much of a mess.
"I chased a deer yesterday, I jumped over a spot on the hill and landed where a tree had split near it's stump a few weeks ago, so I came to look for you," she whined out.
'Gotta think fast.' It may not have been life threatening at the moment, but there was always the chance of infection. Running in front of her, he crouched down under her head. "Just trust me," she heard him say pressing his shoulders forward at the top of her legs. Grabbing onto her elbows, he hoisted her upper half further into the air, almost wearing her like a backpack. "Try to walk on your back legs some like me," he grunted out laboring with his first few steps closer to the house.
"Ok." Snow started falling as they made it around to the front door. After a strained moment of messing with the unruly knob, they stepped inside. Moving towards the couch in front of the fireplace, he slowly crouched to his knees easing her down. Silvia wobbled for a moment readjusting to three legs. He quickly cleared any stray items on the couch and helped ease her onto the comfortable cushions. Laying on her side panting from exhaustion, her legs stuck out like unmanned oars on a trireme. The ragged breathing reminded him of a medical kit left in a nearby closet. Dashing to and fro, he came back with all the supplies that would be needed.
'Thank goodness I stocked up on everything a few days ago.' Pulling up a chair, "Don't worry, I'll be easy," he said setting the medical kit down and began working. Using a small razor, he shaved off any clinging fur in the way. Next, much to Silvia's disdain, he used tweezers to retrieve all 24 splinters of wood. After cleaning out the wounds, he rubbed on ointment, then wrapped fresh white bandages over the sterile spots. He patted her shoulder, "It's alright the worst is over, so don't stress your paw and I'll take care of everything." Johann placed a small decorative pillow under her paw before getting up to let her rest uninterrupted.
Silvia woke from her nap with her paw raised awkwardly in the air. Johann was taking off the older bandages inspecting how everything had gone so far.
"Aren't you overdoing this?" she asked him. He paused a briefly already deep in thought.
"I won't accept anything less than your complete recovery," he said wrapping on a few new bandages. She moved her paw a little, still very tender and sore, but very grateful for his help. "At least the bleeding has stopped," he added.
Silvia smiled, "This makes us even then." He rubbed her cheek, causing her to lean into his hand and murr.
"Yeah, yeah, I hear you," he exclaimed disposing of the old bandages before coming back. Her eyes looked pleading to him whenever his gaze met hers.
"I thought about you nearly every day, what food you cooked, what you could be doing here all alone." She seemed to hint at something Johann couldn't quite pick up "I really missed you Johann, your the only friend I have." Holding her good paw, he lightly stroked over the rough pad.
"I missed you too Silvia, and I'll always be here to help." He gave her paw a good squeeze before leaving to tend to other things. The rest of the day was pretty boring for the normally active wolf, she was able to walk on three legs despite the handicap, but as for distance she would have to wait. The sun set with her letting Johann know she could manage fine a room away from him, and if she needed anything, he would hear a loud bark. Apparently she wasn't firm enough on her well being. Silvia woke in the middle of the night for seemingly no reason. She looked over the handiwork of the white bandages that were wrapped snuggly around her paw and lower leg. Ears perked hearing a splintering creak. A chair had been moved in between her and the fireplace, and Johann was sitting in it slumped over asleep.
'He must be worried, but I'm no pup,' she thought closing her eyes, waiting for him to wake up and leave. About fifteen minutes later, he caught himself lightly snoring before putting back the chair, sneaking back to the bedroom. Waiting a minute, Silvia hobbled onto the floor and made her way down the hall. She slipped into his room silently despite being less agile, and hopped onto the bed with ease.
Johann turned over, "Silvia what are you doing, you should be resting on the couch." She licked his cheek before laying down facing away from him.
"It gets lonely staying there most of the day, so I wanted some company that wouldn't break their back in a chair watching me." Johann rolled back over.
"Goodnight then," he murmured quietly pulling the covers back over himself.
As the days of her recovery went by, she could put a little more pressure back into walking slowly, completely healed in two weeks. She continued to share his bed, but started going back out to hunt for herself rather than eat him out of house and home, the snow or trees not causing any trouble. However, this day was different, she was on edge wanting to be with Johann more then usual. After running around in the snow to get rid of the feeling, she tried resting in his bed. Whining quietly Silvia felt that familiar stirring down low, she was going into heat again. She did her best to ignore it throughout the rest of the day, although that specific need was coming on stronger. She already felt attracted to Johann without the primal urge, but the embarrassment of the situation prevented her from explaining it to him. She followed him around the house more than usual doing her best to help out when he obviously didn't need any. She would start barking happily as a response rather than simply replying with words to anything he said. Even while he was relaxing in his office, she would press her nose against him reveling in his scent, occasionally licking his neck. To Johann it just seemed that Silvia enjoyed being around him, and he did like her a lot, so nothing was at fault. Going to bed that night, she hid under the covers getting as close to him as possible without looking too suspicious. Silvia wasn't able to keep herself away from the source of his musky scent, not catching sleep as easily as Johann did.
Johann yawned plopping down onto the couch. Things were a little off this day since it began when he woke up in the morning. Silvia was already awake pacing the floor nervously. He asked her what was troubling her, but without a word except for a few noises he couldn't place, she walked out the room. He followed only to find her outside shutting the door with her muzzle before bounding off plowing through three feet of powdery snow. Johann decided that it must be a wolf thing, so he didn't bother pursuing her. She came back about noon, but nothing had changed. Johann was worried sitting down in front of the black tv, wondering what could have her upset. He heard the familiar clacking of claws traveling over the wooden floor. Fur blurred across his vision as she hopped onto the couch with him, without a word. Silvia never really bothered to watch the tv as Johann did anyway, so she laid down on his lap, or at least part of her was on his lap. Either way, the tv made the perfect white noise to take a nap, removing focus away from her body but still getting that irresistible giddy feeling of being next to him.
Johann flipped aimlessly through the mundane channels, there was hardly anything interesting on anyhow. He looked down at Silvia sleeping on her side.
'She looks so harmless compared to when I first saw her,' he thought remembering how she towered over him. Reaching over, he began to slowly rub her underside, feeling the well toned muscle underneath along with a few ribs. He saw a leg start to kick as she pulled her front paws up in front of herself. Silvia rolled onto her back enjoying the belly rub, whining lightly. Johann smiled, 'Just like a pet dog,' he thought continuing with both hands, 'At least I found a way to help ease whatever is troubling her.' He worked his hands gracefully all the way over her soft belly loving the furry feeling. Silvia moaned out, she was enjoying herself too much, tail wagging, mouth open panting, tongue lolling out of her jaws not wanting him to stop for anything. Without hesitation, Johann gradually went lower careful to avoid her kicking leg. The fur only became softer and shorter, and her pants started to change in pitch. Whining back Silvia looked up at him, Johann stopped and noticed her vulva puffed out in an inflamed reddish pink color, his hand an inch away from her opening.
A thought hit him. "Is this why you've been so upset recently?" He asked, not too sure how it all would make sense. For a wolf of very few expressions, she looked embarrassed more than anything now.
"I'm in heat!" she barked out shaking her head, "I need you," she added in a deep growl.
"Wait? What do you mean heat? Just tell me." Johann was no biologist, for all he knew Silvia could be in serious pain. Her frantic almost desperate mood frightened him, but he didn't want to run, that wouldn't help. Gears seemed to click in place as her expression changed.
"I Need You!" She exclaimed growling deeply, rolling onto her stomach before quickly standing up facing him, her eyes looked different then before, glazed over toned with a lusty look.
"Calm down! Just tell me what it all means!" Johann threw his hands up, palms facing her. Ignoring his harmless gesture, she lunged at him snapping her large jaws around the collar of his shirt, dragging him off the couch. Not knowing what to expect, he grabbed onto her leg trying to stop her. Silvia swiftly placed her jaws around his neck instead, without puncturing skin or choking him, making Johann go limp instantly. She continued pulling him along into the hallway to the bedroom, but was quickly frustrated at the closed door. Lifting a paw, she opened the handle dropping Johann on the carpet floor. He rose on his knees placing a hand over her paw on the door handle trying to slow her down. "What's gotten into you? Just tell-OOF!" He was knocked back loosing his breath. Hearing the door click shut, she tossed his body like a rag doll onto the bed. Left on his back helpless, he heard a ripping noise as she tore off his pants before disposing of them. Moving a hand to protect his modesty, she snapped at him with a loud snarl baring her canines. Backing off, he watched her yank of his boxers. She pushed her cold nose into his groin, making Johann tense up, chuffing at his musky scent.
She started lapping at his flaccid member enticing him to harden. Johann squirmed in place only to have her paws move holding down his thighs, claws lightly digging in to discourage his body from moving. Despite everything beforehand, Johann was stiff as a board within a minute of her caressing tongue. She paused, admiring her work only to have Johann interrupt in a weak voice, "Silvia... stop." He didn't get much else out as she growled, engulfing his organ sucking as if it were her only source of fresh water. He gasped clenching his teeth as her whole mouth worked him over perfectly around every detail while bobbing her head lightly. The wet contour of her mouth and massaging tongue easily worked him up to climax. Twitching once, then a twice, he moaned shooting forth his seed into her hungry jowls quickly slurping it all down. He tried to sit up amidst his afterglow breathing heavily, but a low growl stopped him. Silvia kept her treatment going without skipping a beat, maintaining his rigidity where it counted. Satisfied that he wouldn't be able to move, much less escape, Silvia hopped onto the bed standing over Johann. Trying to catch his breath, he watched her slowly back up to sit on his lap.
She eased down and penetrated herself on his rod to the hilt. Johann moaned as her strong muscular walls enveloped him, the heat soothing his still throbbing member. Silvia panted, he could feel her hot breath falling down in wafts onto his upper body. Her hips started their ease into a good thrusting motion accompanied with a few whines. His hips involuntarily bucked as her walls did their best in coaxing him to give up another load. The moans escaping his mouth were muffled with a pair of jaws wrapping themselves around his cheeks in some odd form of dominance. The slick friction and warm fur were like physical drugs acting on Johann, each movement delivering luscious wanton joy despite the weak protests from his silent mind. It didn't take much longer when he felt that feeling building down low. Yelling into her jaws, he came hard as her muscular walls contracted prolonging his climax while milking him for all his worth. His heart felt like it was going to burst from pure ecstasy as his whole body burned brilliantly in a seemingly endless afterglow.
He gripped onto her legs, while she took a few seconds to slow down but not in any way stop. Silvia kept going well into the rest of the evening and even the night, alternating in any position imaginable bringing him heights of pleasure he never would have known. Johann laid panting on the bed completely drained physically, mentally, and sexually, not having been able to move from his spot for the past couple of hours. Her body completely covered his in a warm blanket, still joined together in a much hotter furnace below. Pure exhaustion seemed like an understatement to him trying to breath with her on top, he could clearly hear the air rushing down her throat pressed against his cheek. 'Damn,' not even having the energy to talk. He fell asleep a ragged mess, oddly comforted by her large form despite how dangerous she could be.
'Ugh.' was all to be thought, nuts aching, as he tried to roll over off his back. Sunlight seemingly pierced through his eyelids making him squint. Loud scratching noises at the door forced his eyes open sitting up carefully. He saw Silvia pulling furiously at the door handle with her paws then her muzzle. "Hey, we probably locked it by accident yesterday," Johann said shaking out the grogginess in his voice. She jumped around, fear and regret written over her expression.
"I'm so sorry Johann!... I... couldn't control myself." She shook her head before jumping onto his bed giving his face a quick lick. He fell back a little startled, but relaxed feeling her head press against his. Johann hugged her the best he could and patted her shoulders feeling her shake under his touch.
"It's alright I forgive you," he said in a hushed tone. She looked up at him with her puppy dog eyes.
"Your not mad at me?" she responded weakly.
"Well I know you didn't mean to hurt me in any way, but you should have just explained it more clearly." He ended his statement rubbing his cheek over her muzzle. If Silvia could blush, she would definitely be red under her grey furred cheeks. "I will always love you, no matter what instinct you act upon," he added cupping her head in his hands. Whining softly, Silvia pressed her cool black nose against his and licked his lips.
"I love you too Johann," she said laying down over him still lapping at his lips. Opening his mouth tilting his head slightly, her tongue invaded with lips joined together, as he enjoyed their first kiss. Moving more, her jaws went around resting on his cheeks. He traced her rows of sharp teeth as their muscular appendages played amongst each other. The romantic mood was interrupted with a loud growl from Johann's belly.
Looking into her eyes, "We didn't get to dinner yesterday," he said withdrawing from the wet embrace.
"I think we've solved this problem before," she said with a sly grin getting up. Moving onto her side, she invitingly protruded her belly towards him. Scooting forward, he quickly found an eagerly awaiting teat. Latching on he started feeding while rubbing her lower belly, occasionally tweaked any precious nub caught between his wandering digits, causing her to whine wantonly. Eating his fill, this time more careful to limit how much he consumed, he detached continuing his teasing working his way lower. She inched up closer to the hand. "Stop teasing!" she moaned out lightly biting onto his shoulder. Her legs parted as his nimble fingers traced her lightly furred labia. Whining, she thrusted forward pushing his finger in past her folds doing most of the work herself. Finding her canine love button, Johann was able to work her up through a few climaxes resulting in a somewhat satisfied wolf.
Eventually, the two did get out of the overworked bed for Johann to take a much needed shower, having a much needed discussion on how to work through her heat. "So twice every year, each lasting up to two weeks?" he said washing himself over.
"Just about," she called back on the other side of the glass door.
"So how often do you need to do it?" He asked.
She hummed thinking, "For your sake, only when the need rises too much, being next to you will be just fine any other time." He cut the shower off, grabbing a towel from the top of the door.
"So are you ok for now, because I'm pretty wore out."
"It doesn't feel very bad now," she said relieved.
'Your welcome,' Johann thought quietly drying off before stepping out reaching for the clothes be placed out for the day. Silvia moved in front of him nosing his chest.
"You won't be needing clothes for a few days either," she added. He ignored the clothes traveling to the kitchen to try and start up some breakfast, but Silvia had another more needing plan in mind. It took Johann took a good half hour to even decide what he could eat before giving up, all because Silvia found his flaccid organ too much to pass up. Standing around with a beautiful teasing you isn't very easy. She playfully tugged backwards cradling his member preciously between her teeth leading him back into the living room.
"Can't I eat first?" he asked sitting in a chair, rubbing his temples, member rigid at full mast.
"I can give you a rewarding meal in a while, now hold on tight," she exclaimed impatiently backing up into his lap. Holding on to her hind legs, he braced himself feeling those velveteen lips swallow him up to the hilt. Her passageway practically became a semi permanent fixture attached to him in one way or another throughout the rest of the day.
Having a wonderful king sized bed was considered a lifesaver to Johann, it was the perfect reason to be happy while the snow continued to pile up around his house. The soft covers moved with each of his subtle movements.
'Snow might be four feet tall by now,' he thought imagining the scene outside the window pane. Johann rolled onto his other side, one hand landing on a furry body next to him. A leg moved on top of his shoulder, stretching before relaxing with it's large padded paw against his back. Trying to settle back into sleep, a familiar tongue gently massaged and licked his face causing his lips crease into an unconscious grin. The smooth wet appendage lightly pulled his skin before slipping back into her muzzle to start all over again. He felt her large bushy tail thumping next to his legs before wrapping around one. Opening his mouth to protest the disturbance of his peaceful sleep, Silvia's tongue invaded his mouth lapping on the inside causing him to chuckle a little. Despite the lack of hands, she pulled him in with a strong leg for a hug only a wolf could give. Johann's face pressed against a chest full of thick welcoming fur encouraging him enough to wake up. "How long does your heat last again?" he asked.
"I told you already, up to two weeks," she whispered back.
Taking in a deep breath of her scent, he exhaled, "I don't know if I can last that long."
She gave out a wolffish laugh, "Don't worry, I'm sure your up to the challenge." He groaned in response snuggling into her fluffy protective form. "And don't worry I'll keep you alive like when you were at my den," she added playfully, nipping gently at his ear.
