CHAPTER 11

Walking over to his window, Sonic opens the glasses (having to open his arms wide) and starts looking outside. First left and then, when he looks at the right side, he scares: "WHAT THE AAAAH!!!", he screams and shocked walks back. "S-Sonic, I have to talk to you", shadow came out and whispered to him; the blue hedgehog comes to himself and makes hiss assassin-face showing his fangs. "GO AWAY!!!", he shots and tries to close the window, but shadow doesn't leave him trying to open it. "S-Sonic Please!!", the black hedgehog begs him trying not to fall down and to open the window; "GO AWAY!", sonic repeated. "Sonic please, listen to me!!", shadow yelled in disgust trying to convince his brother, while both hedgehogs push the window trying to close/open it. "I DON'T WANT TO!", sonic yells in anger pushing the window harder; shadow was crying already again. "Sonic only a second", the black hedgehog stuttered sobbing in pain, he really needed to explain the problem. "I SAID NO!", sonic answered in fury pushing the window a lot harder, shadow was now about to fall. "SONIC! I'm gone to fall!!", he cried in despair sobbing and shivering. The blue hedgehog contains his breathe and curses himself for that decision; he leaves the window and lets shadow fall inside the room. The black hedgehog was on floor on his knees looking up to sonic; he could see his madness he had with him. "You have only two minutes", sonic tells him with a serious voice and his assassin-face, looking him from above.

Shadow gets up and looks at sonic eyes, crying and sobbing: "Sonic.. I.. I didn't want to lie to you", he explained him, "I-I just couldn't tell you about this..", he continued. "I d-didn't want you to hate me", shadow says and takes breathe, but before he could continue, sonic starts talking: "Great, you did a great job shadow, then I totally HATE you now", he shots him (That hurts me). Hearing that, shadow shivers in sorrow and cries a lot more; sonic just stabbed his heart making him drop himself to the ground (like in the bar). "I'm working there since I'm 7!! I couldn't leave!! I'm accustomed to it! You noticed it already!", the black hedgehog cried his heart out, while sonic was looking at him gasping from above; shadow was right, sonic noticed it already with his girly customs. "Sonic.. I finally had a family and finally I was happy", shadow kept explaining, sobbing in sorrow, "My heart was like I knew you since long", he continued. "My heart knew you were my brother", the black hedgehog sobs, but sonic doesn't leave him continue again: "YOU AREN'T!!", he shots him. Before sonic could yell at him again, this time is shadow who intervenes: "BUT FOR ME!", he cries out. Sonic stays shocked and silence hearing that cry, shadow advantages and continues: "I loved to have a brother like you sonic", he says. "You are everything for me, I didn't want to loose you", shadow explained him and with a ¨really¨, finishes his speech, gets up and turns around. "Where are you going?", sonic enquiries him in fury coming to himself; inside of him, something shadow said touched him a lot. "Two minutes are over", shadow answers him turning his head; sonic stays silence.

Outside the mansion, Maurice and Aaron were providing with two bears: "Woo, we did it!", both prostitutes said in pride. "He will be dead soon", Maurice whispers to himself, while Aaron stared at the mansion. "I feel sorry for the others who can't see it", the mongoose tells his mate, "Yeah, while we can enjoy the show here hidden", Maurice answers. In the bar were Snake and Speech alone talking about the plan: "You think everything's done?", speech asks the waiter. "I bet the bomb is on it's place.. We just have to wait for Maurice and Aaron to come back", snake answers, "then we'll know everything's done", and adds. Speech smirks him hearing his answer, he was demon-like happy to know that Sonic will be dead in minutes; but something takes him out of his mind. "I wonder how shadow will take it", he asks in the air (bad question). Snake sighs in anger and stands up: "I'll go see if he's ok", he says and goes to the room; where shadow was supposed to be. "Shadow", snake says opening the door, but when he looks inside, the room is empty. "Shadow?", the weasel repeats asking, he looks around in the room and shadow wasn't there; then he notices the window open and plots the worst. Oh no, shadow escaped to Sonics house! "SPEECH!!", snake shots in despair running outside; speech turns around in surprise.

In Sonics house, shadow was about leave the room from where he came (the window); but sonic didn't leave him and took him by his arm. Shadow turns around and sees Sonic sadly, looking his emerald-eyes full of rancor and madness; but somehow after a while, his arm begins to hurt; sonic was burying him his nails! Shadow tried to ignore that pain thinking it was an error, but his arm started to bleed and that made him hurt more: "You-you're hurting me", he said. "I know", but sonic voices, "Is what you deserve". Shadow couldn't resist crying a lot more for that pain: "Sonic please!!! It hurts!!", he shots. Sonic finally releases him and right after that, shadow takes his arm and squeezes it, it hurt too much. The blue hedgehog was looking at him still with his anger, but then he looks down to his hand; it was full of blood, not willing he touched one of shadows veins. The black hedgehog was shivering and squeezing his arm, then he starts walking again to leave the room; but sonic couldn't see him leave, he didn't want to! The blue hedgehog finally decides to take shadow from his shirt and to pull him to himself; sonic starts crying letting his anger out, hugging shadow against his chest. "Why?", he whispers, "Why do you have to be like that, WHY!", he adds crying like a maniac; the black hedgehog was too persuasive, and more if he really wanted to be forgiven. Shadow was shocked about that embrace and Sonics cries, he blushed a lot too being like that, but he felt scared. "I trusted in you Shadow! I told you my secrets, You were my brother!", sonic continues crying. A long while in silence and sobs, both hedgehogs were in the same position; sonic hugging shadow against his chest. Then sonic relaxes his breathe and releases the black hedgehog; he started to stare outside saying: "My mom was right", and sighs. Shadow was looking at Sonics eyes not understanding what he said: "I don't hate you", sonic said, "I just can't hate you", he adds. Before continuing sonic takes breath: "I can't dislike your eyes, your personality", he voices calm; shadow was looking at him sobbing and hearing. "I don't hate you, it's the opposite shadow", sonic confesses, making the black hedgehog gasp in surprise.

Sonics heart beat and wanted to come out; that acceptance made his anger to disappear and his love to come out. That love he felt for shadow, since he found him alone next to the burning orphanage. Now for sonic was it clear, he was homosexual too and mysteriously he wanted to be it. That hate to gays made him blind himself, so he wanted to accept that those people existed in the world too. Sonic couldn't fight against his will, he was much weaker then it. He wanted to do a thing he thought never to want. The blue hedgehog takes shadow cheeks in each hand and looks him in the eyes; the black hedgehog couldn't resist blushing like a tomato. Closing his eyes, letting a tear fall, sonic pushes himself and kisses shadow on the lips. The black hedgehog had his eyes like plates, his cheeks were red and his heart was pumping. That moment, both hedgehogs were waiting long ago to become reality; even though sonic didn't know it. The kiss wasn't passionate, neither cute, it was forced. For both hedgehogs the kiss was forced, but it was a kiss after all, with the love of their lives.

Tic- tac- tic- tac 3... One could hear outside.. 2... Ticking those last seconds.. 1... Nervousness counting it... 0... BAAAAAAM!!!!!!!
