Living Large Chapter 4:

A few weeks had passed since I told Marcus about what had happened that night, since then everything has been quiet and life had gone back to normal... for the most part. I finally got a new phone for one (An IPhone!) that and the fact my parents had moved out of that apartment we were living in. They now lived in a simple small lot, single story and that was all they really wanted for what they had and in a lot of ways I was happy for them. My younger sister was living with them and she seemed beyond happy to be attending school again and my older brother... Well he finally passed his SWAT field testing... that's right my older brother decided to become a police officer back when I was in high-school and this week is his twenty sixth birthday too. Out of everything anyone could figure that maybe I should've been more worried about what had happened from before yet I couldn't worry much about it, ever since the stabbing I hadn't heard anything about it since. A cold breeze drove through the wind, a soft gentle chime rang from the windows of a house nearby. Day after day I spend my time walking to Morrit and most the time I find myself daydreaming at the sight of the small trees on people's lawns that seemed to overlook the same street. That peaceful feeling wouldn't leave me, something humbling and inspiring. The dorms are where I live now but getting a job seemed a little too easy, that same coffee shop that I found myself at before; Tails and Ears Coffee Shop. Now I guess reality is catching up to me and all I know is that I'm content with it.

"Justin!" From outside my first class was Marcus - Who had his hair straight once more, the point that it made it gently brush and sway in front of his eyes now and again. "You're going to be late." He teased softly, sticking his tongue out at me. Late! I thought to myself. I couldn't possibly be late after-all it was mid-afternoon when I have my first class. (Without those cursed early morning wake-up calls!) "Justin." A pug came up from behind me, he wore a nice suit and tie; glasses... Mr. Vero. "Vero." My reply was surprisingly soft-toned compared to how I really was the first month, I have to say that I - "You still haven't handed in that essay I assume that you have it done." ... DAMN!!! If it wasn't my bloody family ruining my day than it was.... I sighed, sulking my head down; my hair fell to a gloomy statue too as my face read nothing but the question 'Why Me?' "I forgot all about it Mister Vero..." Work had honestly gotten the better of me but I couldn't use that as an excuse. "Well you have until my class at the end of the day... good luck." He walked off. "Ha ha." I laughed sarcastically to myself before sulking a little more. "Thanks." Me and him have a history, he was actually a teacher from my high-school and was the teacher who let the GSA resign in his class at lunch, not that I ever really did join with them (I didn't really accept my interests but that story is for another day) I was caught up in 'my world.' "That really does suck." Marcus chimed in with a small innocent tone. "You know I bet Chris would be willing to help you out if you asked." That seems like an awesome idea. Another sarcastic thought; and where could I just simply find him when he isn't? The normal LGBT meets. (Not that I even knew that with this place being so huge!) Without a second thought a small chime rang in the air, my phone's alarm. "Sorry Marcus I need to get to class." "That's fine, good luck!" I must not have been late as I thought; given the fact that everyone was staring as I walked into class.

Class was like having eternity passing bye, I was distracted by something and that all made it seem... worse or something like it. I guess my thoughts were still everywhere maybe I was just worried about that cursed essay I forgot all about... or maybe it was the fact that it was Mr. Vero who I was hopefully going to hand a completed paper to. Vibrations rang through my pocket, someone was calling me on my phone and I quickly answered it. "Hello?" "Justin hey." It sounded so much like - "Oh Karen." Karen was the daughter of the coffee shops owner. "Can you come by now? Just for an hour or so?" "Is something wrong?" "We need an extra hand here that's all." "You can count on me!" I can't believe that I said that but it was the first thing to come to mind. Regardless before I knew it I was taking my subtle lunch off away from schooling (Given the fact that I didn't have a class at this time) to work... it was very unlike me to do so. I guess some people said I ran off, I only jogged but I was a bit excited since it was the first time I was really called in to work. Within a large crowd, the bustle of people I fought my way into the shop. "There you are." By that point I was already putting an apron on. "We need some help here, the group that comes by every Tuesday is hardly this big." Group? I didn't work on Tuesday's so I never really knew about any actual scheduled groups. Gotta get to work though! My own determination surprised even me, after a few weeks of doing what Marcus told me; just to have fun, my attitude changed pretty quickly, like it was simply natural of me. A figure walked up to my side of the counter. Almost immediately I spoke up. "Welcome to Tails and Ears. (I never understood the name honestly) What can I get for you?" The fox was around my age, he had beautiful thick white fur, and in fact it looked like I had seen him before. (You know one of those split-second things) "Just a tea would be great." "Yes, just the special?" "Yeah." Maybe it was the smile? I guess I was a little too quick on the gun for him. He looked suddenly nervous and for the second he got his drink and left I began cursing to myself. "Hello?" I spun around quickly to meet with another face. "Sorry." Oh... My... God. I actually did what I think I did. I bowed to them. The only person who would ever do that was my grandfather and here it just came by impulse. "Welcome how may I help you?" My words went flat possibly along with my ears. The guy was ripped and my eyes sunk for a moment. I knew him from somewhere, my P.E class maybe (God I hate that about this college.) "Hey you're Justin." I know right! I almost blurted it out. My name tag says it all, thanks big guy. "Uh yeah." I replied. "You hang out with Marcus right?" To an extent... "Yes." He gave me a look before chuckling to himself. "That's awesome!" "I- it is?" "Well yeah I finally met you." I didn't know I was being hunted for... "Okay." "Yeah Marcus talks about you a lot." "Okay." He paused for a moment before saying something just random. "Okay..." I replied. "Are you scared?" He almost looked concerned. "Ok - Wait, what? No not at all!" "Right." He paused giving a quick glance at the menu. "Can I get a coffee?" "Coming up!" Quick to run right? Well that was weird but he did mention Marcus. "Marcus hangs out with that tank?" I spoke softly to myself passing the coffee across the counter to him. The figures ear twitched and I jumped about a mile high. I should've realized that a dog would have sensitive hearing in the beginning. He brushed it off and in the pit of my chest my heart was racing.

I have to stop doing stupid stuff like that. After falling in and out of a daze I ended up putting my head on the counter going back to my gloomy state. "I'm an idiot..." I spoke to myself. "Well you're an idiot I know." Like that wouldn't make someone yelp, everyone probably heard that one. I took a quick glance around. Yep everyone heard and probably saw that one. Some chuckling came in the back. A slim curvy figure waved from across the room. "You're embarrassing yourself Justin." Marcus, I should've noticed the little signs. When I jumped the gun on the first guy, he flustered through probably because he was new, the second guy was large but kind and the way he spoke showed a touch of a dominant nature. Of course, I was stuck within the one group I never decided to go to for my entire life. "Hi Chris." He was hovering over me like a vulture, laughing quietly to himself. "So how long have you known that I work here. "About." He took a look at his digital watch. "Four and a half minutes. Why?" That proves it is the LGBT. "Welcome, how may I help you?" There goes the cheery, jumping the gun state. "Come on, that was funny." I gave him a major devious glare. "At least a little funny?" Damn myself for smiling, I began giggling and could only admit that he did catch me 'sleeping on the job.' "How may I help you Chris?" "A latte please." Making his drink, I noticed Chris glaring at something, looking up at the menu every time I looked back to him. "Did you change your mind?" "No, no." Looking back to him Chris passed a glare to me. "I guess they added more to the menu..." "Huh?" Right! The owners did add a lot more. "Uh yeah they always wanted to open a Café, yet the decided to start out the business slowly and went with a small coffee shop." I told him. "Something about checking to see if it was right to make a business here." "Makes sense." I turned back away, yet a feeling wouldn't shake. Whatever it was it made me shiver and I realized clearly that he was watching me closely. What is he staring at? I thought to myself before turning to him, his eyes almost latched at me in that final second as I handed him his drink. "Thanks!" He turned and walked back to Marcus, and for a moment I realized what he was doing.

He was staring at my ass! The whole time! I didn't know if I should've been offended or upset but within a second of confusion I quickly noted that my face was red hot, before trying to brush it away. Another decent half an hour had passed by before all that little excitement was done for once I was actually felt a little tired from it. About a few steps out the door and suddenly a firm grip grasped me. I turned in sudden horror only to breathe out at Chris's face. Almost immediately my face went red and I whipped my arm away. "Dammit Chris!" Now that made him jump. "What?" "Don't scare me like that!" For a few seconds I felt like a chick for yelling that out... "Now now, I only wanted to chat." He replied with a little giggle. "Usually you have to be facing someone to..." I mumbled it under my breath before staring back to him. "It seems someone sniffed me out." "Sorry?" "Back at the shop, you caught onto me pretty quickly Justin." He must be talking about that whole thing. "A little hard not to." I remarked. "Actually it usually is for a lot of people here, yet I guess they are just used to that kinda treatment. "What's the point of this?" "You know, you are cuter than you think." What? "The whole confident to shy thing is just adorable... In fact it's just my type." "What?" Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit! You better not blush Justin, this guy seems to get around a little too much with that attitude. No matter how many times I had told myself not too, I just couldn't help but giving off a little fluster. For a rabbit he seemed pretty fit, it's just he's too confident for me. After all Justin hasn't everything you've done so far to prove you aren't someone's bitch? My thoughts pause for a second. I really have to stop lecturing myself, if someone could hear my thoughts I'd look crazy. Chris's body suddenly pinned me to a wall, his paws held mine down at bay and I was taken by surprise. "You aren't dating anyone, so why not me?" The way he spoke, I knew at that point he had ulterior intentions. "N, now wait." His nose pressed against my cheek and I shivered, knowing that even though I haven't even really met him he was already coming onto me. "It seems like you would enjoy it." His body rubbed up against mine, my tail was involuntarily wagging slowly as if unsure. His arms suddenly dropped to my waist and he hoisted me up to the wall his hips pressed against mine as his teeth nibbled gently into my neck fur. I couldn't help but blush deeper, my breathing quickly turning to slow pants. What's going on? Why am I acting like this? Luckily we were between two buildings, an alley overlooking a barren road. One of his paws went down to my groin slowly he began to undo my jeans before stopping. 'I'd say that's enough teasing for now." His hands had fallen in, he brushed his paws against it, my sheath was throbbing and I had what felt to be an empty pit in my stomach, something just begging to be filled in. Chris let me down, passing a wink and smile and walking off. He was confident and that was sexy - on top of it - he was daring too even though he appeared so innocent to me. Suddenly chimes rang in the air. I paused for a second. Oh... My... God... I have to get to class! God no I'm going to be late and worst of all. My paw fell to my stomach. This empty feeling won't leave it's almost making me feel ill. Now people can say I ran, I bolted to the school and hearing a comment when I ran in from none other than Marcus. "Run Forrest Run!" Oh that stopped me. I thought to myself for a second, my face was blazing red. I can't concentrate like this anyways. I turned to Marcus with a devious look and noticed his eyes go shallow and his ears fall flat. "Uh Justin?" I grasped his wrist first, drawing him into a hug. "You're coming with me." Marcus flustered to the sound of my voice. "Uh. Where?" He asked with a soft blush, unsure of what was happening. "Just playing hooky." First my dorm room, than maybe even outside for a bit. I thought to myself. That's how I'm going to shake this away.

  • Chris, by now, was already in class spending his seconds going over notes and other things before taking a quick glance to the window. There he is! Chris thought quietly, paying quick attention to the front when the professor turned. I guess I did make quite the impact on him. Chris shot another quick glance and noticed Marcus. If I can't get my hands on him than I guess letting Marcus have him is just as good, after all he talks about Justin so much. The professor called upon one of the students. Chris passed a small grin. If only Justin knew how much fun he would have if he was a bottom. I see way too much potential in him for it. Marcus was being led away Chris watched them both leave further to the front of the college from the second story window. Must be great to have someone like that. Chris smirked. Now if only I had the time to, I may be able to find someone else like that too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up on you Justin. He chuckled silently, looking back to the face that Justin put on in the alleyway. God... He was beyond adorable there, his face beet-red and his ears, the way they began to softly twitch, or his tail how it was curled at the end. The thoughts were making Chris blush a little. I honestly wouldn't have minded to have my chance there. All the things he could've done raced through his thoughts. That would've been a ride worth taking. Chris tightened the grip on his pen. I guess I'm going to have to try again if I really want to take him. Chris gave another smile. I'm not quitting now that I know.
