Leomon's Urban Adventure (Snapshot Story)
Another little snapshot story, this time one that went along with Pawseeker's Bowser story purchase. Another one with Leomon, a macro one in the real world. Enjoy. Image here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9579634/
The white light of the wormhole surrounded Leomon, twisting, spinning, and always sucking him down. Grunts of discomfort were pulled from his lips as he could feel the strange portal tugging at the data that made up his body, tugging, pulling, moving it around, changing how it made him up. His body was changing, but in the white light that surrounded him, he couldn't see what was going on, or just what had been changed, or what was still being changed.
All he knew was that he was still falling, pulled along by the massive force of the wormhole that had opened under the forest in the Digi-world, and it hadn't let him out yet.
Leomon shut his eyes, giving up on figuring out just what was going on with his body as he rode along with the wormhole, wondering just where it was going to drop him. He already knew that he would need to find Nathan quickly in the real world, as he would be completely lost without his tamer at his side. At this rate, though, with the tingling and pulling on his data, he just hoped that Nathan would be able to recognize him in the other world, as he had no idea how he would look when he came out through the other side of the wormhole.
Suddenly, he felt the light of the wormhole grow dim, and he felt the tugging around his body stop. Replacing that was the feeling of gravity tugging his body down, his stomach left behind somewhere above him.
He grunted as he opened his eyes, expecting to see the ground a few hundred feet away from him, and expecting to need to plan how he was going to survive his fall to the ground.
Instead, Leomon was shocked to see that he was already about to hit the ground...and that the buildings the digimon was expecting to need to grab to slow his descent were shorter than he was.
His massive orange feet hit the ground, a shockwave spreading out around him and sending cars and people flying off in different directions. The buildings around him shook, and the smaller ones started to buckle seconds after he landed on the ground. Leomon winced a little bit as he saw that some of them fell into dust and debris, looking a little bit like some of the machinery in the Digi-world after some of the more powerful digimon had attacked it. Of course, they had spent hours, if not days, destroying stuff there, while he had managed to destroy the buildings with nothing more than a single fall.
The feline digimon looked around. There were many different dots on the ground, some standing still, others running away, and some few moving closer to him. He ignored them, seeing them as nothing more than insects, and looked around the rest of his surroundings.
The different towers and spires around him, large, rectangular structures, were filled with more of the little dots, staring at him from behind reflective glass. They looked shocked at him, and none of them could have been even half of the size of his pinkie toe. Leomon couldn't help but feel massive in comparison...massive...huge...powerful.
He turned slightly, a slight wave of his hand slamming into one of the buildings to his side. He barely felt himself touching it, but the building started to collapse behind him. Pulling his hand back before it could go all the way through the tower, Leomon realized that he was too late as it started to bend over at the side, the rest of the building too little to support it, and soon sending it falling over. A large chunk of stone and steel fell through the air, landing on top of another building near it, and turning the two large chunks into another large pile of debris.
Shaking his head, Leomon decided to just find a spot to sit. The building behind him seemed rather sturdy, and it was about the right height. However, he was a little more careful this time. The big digimon pushed himself back slowly, testing his weight on the large stone structure. It seemed to buckle just a bit as he put his weight on it, but it held steady, so he lowered himself the rest of the way. There were a few cracks in the air, but it held his weight, surprising him. Maybe the humans were a little better at building things than he had thought.
The dots on the ground continued milling around, and now that Leomon was a little more relaxed, less confused, he realized that they were a bunch of people. A good number of them had run away, but at least as many had stayed where they were, rooted on the spot. He couldn't see much in the way of details, but they were staring up at him, many humans and animal people - like Nathan, a mix of human and animal - staring at him as he put his feet up. Crossing his ankles to get a little more comfortable, Leomon looked over them. They seemed as confused as he was; apparently wormholes with giant digimon appearing didn't happen every day, or even all that often for them.
Leomon started to open his mouth, thinking that maybe he would ask them if they knew where Nathan was, or if they could direct him towards where his tamer lived. Demand, more likely; he didn't like to ask things if he didn't have to.
Before he could do that, though, one of the dots pulled something out from its waist. It was hard to make out what it was from this distance, but the figure pulled on something. There was a quiet pop, though some of the dots on the ground ran off to the side, as if they were scared by a loud noise. Shortly after the pop sounded, Leomon felt something touch the bottom of his foot. It was so soft that he barely felt it, but he realized what it must have been. Nathan had described things in this world, something called guns; the wolf had called them deadly, dangerous, but if they were as pathetic as that, Leomon wondered why the wolf was so bothered by them.
Still, he didn't like the thought of the people down there doing stuff like that to him. They shouldn't be shooting at people, let alone people that fought to protect them from the threats in the other world. Grumbling, then growling, Leomon sat up a little straighter on his seat.
He felt more of the little taps, and heard more of the pop sounds, as he thought of how he was going to teach the people down there a lesson. He had to, at this point; they were just shooting at him without reason, and that meant that they needed to learn a lesson.
It didn't take him very long to think of something that would teach them a lesson about being more welcoming to others. He used the same task to teach Nathan lessons, or to discipline him, and while these people were smaller to him than his tamer had ever been, he had little doubt that it would work on them as well as it had on Nathan; better, perhaps, as it would bring home the point of threatening someone that was stronger than them.
Slowly, Leomon lifted one of his feet off of the ground. The shadow of his foot spread along the streets, and he could see that most of the dots were getting the picture of what was about to happen. A small smile crossed the digimon's face as they turned, started to run, as he knew that there was no way that they were going to get away in time. They could only be crushed under his foot.
It started to descend, and Leomon took his time with letting it fall, both to extend the moment of their fear and to make sure that he didn't take it too far. Nathan was easy enough to do this with, as the wolf was still a few inches tall compared to him, and Leomon could feel if he was going too far. With the humans and anthros down there, though, he would have to be very careful if he didn't want to end up with a lot of them as little more than blood spatters on the bottom of his feet.
Finally his foot came down on top of a group of the dots, and he felt them squirming against the bottom of his foot. It was almost tickling to him, and he groaned softly at the feeling, holding his foot just off of the pavement below the small bugs. They squirmed against the bottom of his foot, crawling along the underside of it as they struggled to pull themselves out from under his foot. Each movement was like a long stroke along the bottom of his foot, and it was extremely enjoyable. The best feeling came when they started crawling between his toes, climbing out through the gaps between his toes, working their way up towards the top of his foot.
He waited until the feeling of their crawling was almost gone before he shifted his foot, tilting it to the side. He felt all the different humans and anthros on top of his foot sliding off to the side, sliding off of his foot and back onto the ground. The bottom of his foot was clean of blood spatters, he was happy to see, though Leomon was surprised to see a couple of humans and anthros stuck to the bottom of his foot. Apparently they had gotten stuck in the little wrinkles that formed on the bottom of his foot when he curled his toes, or when he shifted it around a little bit. Well, at least that was his guess; some of them looked like they were actively holding onto his orange sole, but that was probably just his imagination. He doubted that there were many humans with Nathan's particular love for his feet.
Grinning as he started to enjoy the sight of the tiny creatures running away from him, Leomon decided to have a little more fun. But first, he needed to keep them from running away more.
It only took him a second to find a building that looked like it would be big enough, and the blue rectangular thing that was on the side of the streets made an even better projectile than some of the smooth rocks in the Digi-world. It flew straight and true, going straight through the building near the ground. It toppled over just as well as he could have hoped, falling down across the street and acting like a wall for the retreating anthros and humans.
They were stuck with him now, and he was going to enjoy himself. Leaning back on his seat a bit, Leomon pushed his feet along the street, keeping them firm to the ground to make sure that the humans wouldn't get pulled under his feet and crushed. He didn't want the little bugs to die; that would end his fun all too early, and that would probably make problems between him and Nathan as well, for that matter.
Still, the people had to learn a lesson. He had already decided that.
He kept his toes spread wide as he dragged his feet across the ground, and the movement herded human and anthro between his toes, gathering them between them and pushing them along as Leomon slid his feet forward. They clustered in big groups between his toes, easily distinguishable against his orange fur and skin.
When he thought that he had enough, he pulled his feet back, tilting them up so that his toes pointed up towards the sky. Some of the people slipped down along the top of his foot, almost tickling on their way down towards his ankle, but he knew that they'd be alright; there was enough handholds on the top of his foot for them to be fine.
It was the people still between his toes that he was focused on. He grinned down at them as they held tightly to anything that they could grab, whether that was some part of his toes, the little bit of skin that linked his toes together, or the other people that had handholds. They stared up at him, though he couldn't tell whether it was in fear, fascination or something else entirely. He was sure, though, that there were some people in the groups between his toes that knew what he was going to ask them to do; after all, he already felt a few little licks, a familiar feeling from some of the times that his tamer had been kept between his toes.
"Lick...lick and climb around my toes," Leomon commanded in a deep growl. There was a slight delay, but no more than half a second before the little insects - to his view - on his feet got to work. They moved around, crawling around his foot, climbing on top of his toes or between them. Their movements always verged on tickling him, but in a pleasurable way rather than in a way that made him want to laugh.
The lickers, on the other hand, were the real fun. He knew that his feet were sweaty, that they let off a potent musk; Nathan always commented on it, whether he was under them or just near Leomon. The humans and the anthros were getting to taste it now, experience it up close and personal. He knew that not a one of them would be able to escape it; even if they breathed through their mouths, he knew from Nathan that the musk would be strong enough for them to taste.
Leomon grinned as he leaned back, his arms folded behind his head as he looked up at the sky. He could feel some of the other weak humans and anthros coming around his feet, moving around his heels. There were some that were crawling up onto him, and others that were trying to climb away. He knew that they would need to be dealt with, brought back onto his feet rather than allowed to run away, but it was part of the game to let them have a chance at least.
Eventually, he would need to find Nathan. But for now, he would teach these bugs how they were supposed to welcome people to their world, rather than shooting at them.
And hell, he'd have a lot of fun while doing it, and at least he'd have a story for Nathan this time around, instead of it being the wolf having a story for him.
