(The human is a female wearing a green button down and khakis, the 'beast' is a car, and the 'odd fruits' are water bottles. Just FYI)
PROLOGUE
The sun peaked over the hill, making the dew on the grass sparkle like silver. A ray of sunshine woke the tiger from his slumber, his daily alarm clock. He slowly got up due to his dazedness and stretched as best he could for the new day. His stomach rumbled, he hadn't eaten in days and his energy was diminishing as his hunger grew. He needed to hunt, but couldn't find a decent meal anywhere in the surrounding jungle. He had no choice but to continue searching for the food that he so desperately needed. He set off into the jungle, hoping, praying that he'd find a morsel.
He had not walked far when he heard odd sounds emanating not so far from where he was. Curious, he set off to investigate these odd sounds. He had reached a clearing when he saw a creature he had never seen before. He decided to lay low to avoid detection by the strange creature and observed it from his hiding place. The creature stood on two legs, with some kind of light green skin on it's upper body and dark brown on its lower body, with practically no fur except on top of the head, which had a red shine to it. He watched the creature make odd movements around the clearing, not in distress, but in steady, graceful movements.
She neared his hiding place and he could wait no longer. He lunged from his spot and roared ferociously as he pinned the creature to the dirt. The creature's eyes looked at him with a sort of fear that he had never seen before. He felt sorry for the odd creature, decided it wasn't worth killing, and climbed off. The creature got up and landed a blow to the side of his face with her right foot. He stumbled a bit, not expecting a violent blow from a creature smaller than he was. She began to make loud, aggressive noises while the tiger could only make a light snarl as his answers. She hit him once again and he retreated into the jungle but stayed at the edge in hiding to further observe the creature.
She walked over to this large beast which she ripped open, took out what seemed to be odd fruits, and closed the wound in the beast. It forcefully opened the odd fruit and drank what seemed to be water from it. She then proceeded to open the large beast once again and threw the shell into the beast and closed it. The tiger watched her for the duration of the day.
The sunset finally came and the sky became hues of purple, a beautiful cacophony that the tiger had come to love. Darkness finally fell upon the jungle and the tiger watched the creature take wood, organize it neatly, and then put grass on it. The tiger knew what this was, it was a nest. The creature returned with a small stick and a larger, much more odd-looking fruit. She squeezed the liquid on to the fire for a second, and then stopped. She picked up the small stick and quickly ran it against her shoe, creating fire. The tiger new what fire was for 1/8 of the jungle burned due to a wildfire two summers ago. She then threw the fire stick into the nest and it quickly grew into a fire. He thought she was mad for lighting her nest on fire, but the look on her face suggested otherwise. She laid herself down by the fire and began to gaze into the air.
Seeing an opening, he crept into the clearing and decided he needed to investigate the large beast, as the small creature was a violent one. He began to sniff the beast, but it showed no fear. He studied it, taking in every little detail about the beast. He jumped his front legs onto the car and bit what seemed to be a lightly skinned portion of the beast. He broke the skin but it was hard like rock and cut his tongue with a sharp edge. At the same time, the beast began to shriek in pain. The noise was so loud, he growled in anger due to these painful shrieks. Suddenly, the shrieks stopped and he looked at the creature, which was making loud angry noises at him. She picked up a medium sized part of a branch, and threw it at him. She missed, but she picked up another and began to charge. He stood his ground, showing her that he was not afraid. She closed the gap and swung the branch right at him. She barely missed hitting his jaw in the first swing. He snarled at her as she made a surprisingly quick swing at him. The tiger was not ready for the speed and the branch hit him square on the head, knocking him out cold.
