Chapter 9

Kyle had kneeled down before the three dark figures that were below the torches that gave this black space its only light. The three figures were unidentifiable except for their eyes. Only their glowing eyes were clearly visible. One had gold eyes, one had purple eyes and the final one had green eyes.

"Kyle, what brings you to our realm? You normally wait for our summons before you come into our realm." One of the figures said it was impossible to tell which one said anything.

"I found that dark presence that you were worried about. It is a dark prince." Kyle answered.

The figures seemed surprised at this revelation from Kyle. "A dark prince has entered this realm? We should have detected such power. And we have not seen that much Dark power since the events of dragon respire. How would this prince have gotten through the barriers that we have enforced? We should hope that Alphaten will expel them from this realm."

Kyle grunted. "That will not work as he belongs to this realm. The dark king used one of Alphaten's tricks to produce an immortal offspring who was born in this realm. He was given a mortal birth but with the soul of an immortal and the powers to boot. He is currently accompanied by a royal guard and general blue. He is trying to recruit dark bloods to help him defeat Alphaten's guardians. He is the reason I had to come."

One of the figures the one with purple eyes seemed interested as the others seemed quite worried. "You also brought some scrolls that were taken by the light immortals. Are we to assume you may be working with them in some form?"

"My friends have decided to team up with the light immortals so that they can protect themselves. They all became 'balanced' and should start developing light powers in the coming weeks. I declined such an option."

The figure with green eyes wanted a few words with Kyle. "Alphaten is normally compliant with us. He knows of our existence and heeds most of our warnings. We have never had too many reasons not to trust the light immortals as they use this realm to hide their most vulnerable. Light immortals have always wanted to leave this realm alone to most extents but their king has expressed interest in taking this land for light immortals should such a need arise. Are you sure you would be willing to work for them knowing that as long as you serve us you may have to face them in battle one day?"

Kyle looked up and nodded. "I know that there is a chance I may have to fight Rin and the others should they team up with the guardians. But our goals are going to be the same for some time. As you probably know the Dark immortals have made some inroads lately and even managed to hit the Palace of the light king. The king responded by sending his son's here where Alphaten has kept the realm mostly free of the dark immortals influence. The Dark king has sent his son here to conquer this realm as well conflict is unavoidable at this point and it is going to be on a large scale. I am going to fight with the guardians while remaining a dark blood. I refuse to accept their light."

Finally the golden eyes figure got ready to talk. "Before our expulsion into this realm we guarded the three realms and the immortals had to gain our permission to move between realms. That was until the dark immortals expunged our authority from his realm. Once they dark immortals had free reign the lights were forced to adhere to our rules when the darks did not. The darks soon waged war against the lights and the lights could not retaliate so the Light king pleaded with us to give them the same freedom the darks did. We were hesitant but the balance was starting to tip into the dark's favor. Once the Dark's made their first attack on the palace and Alphaten was hurt severely the light king forced our hand and also expunged us out. And then the war began to rage at a furious pace. One too fast for our likings. Soon the dark immortals found out how to weaken our power in this realm and the three realms were open for those who had enough power to travel between them. Alphaten a stout believer in the old ways left the light king's army and set up in the mortal realm bent on preventing it from becoming a war zone. The dark immortals refused to let that slide and wanted this realm as their own. Alphaten set up his defenses and so began the war over this realm. Alphaten has headed all of our warnings but we cannot trust him as his allegiance is to the light immortals first. After hearing and knowing all of this are sure you want to fight alongside Alphaten?"

After such a long winded speech Kyle already had his answer. "Yes. I still think that Alphaten would be our best Ally. As you said he has appreciation for the old ways. I have made my decision to fight with them."

"Then you have our blessings. But we suspect you did not come all this way to tell us that." All three said.

"I want you to release the seal of thunder in my body." Kyle said nervously.

All three were stunned by such a request. "Are you insane? Thunder if one of our five most powerful assets still at our disposal. If it was to fall into the hands of the dark immortals it would tip the scales of the war immensely. The light has refused to use them against the dark immortals so why would you ask for it?" They all said together.

"Because the prince has power. His power is greater than members of his royal guard. And he is still in training. I fear his power may rival that of his father. The only way Alphaten stands a chance against him would be if I had thunder as my disposal. I know I need more time to control thunder but we are going to have to speed up my training if I am to hold my own against the prince." Kyle answered.

"Such power? If that is the case we shall make contact with Alphaten soon it has been a few centuries since we have needed to contact him. You will need his help if you expect to control thunder. WE shall make preparations post haste." The three figures said before disappearing back into the darkness. The darkness faded away leaving Kyle back to his room satisfied that his meeting went exactly how he had hoped.

Meanwhile River was in his room staring his palm. His room was more decorated as he was the middle of three boys born to quite wealthy parents. After all they owned multinational corporations for some reason his family had business in their blood. River's room was big and full of gadgets and electronics and of course lots of posters of his favorite people and lots of pictures of his family. He was staring at his hand that held a secret only one person besides him knew about and he was debating whether or not to tell said person about the revelations that could mean trouble for him.

River sighed and decided that it best he tell the person about the investigation into him. He held his paw in the air and a key symbol appeared on it and Teleported River to another location. The white otter was transported to a small room with a statue the same statue he had told Venom about earlier. But he did neglect to mention about the person who also inhabited the room.

It was a black otter in his early thirties. His name was Beal. He was the dark prince that ran away during the war and became a mortal. Galvez however did not realize that this change would be temporary and that he would return to his immortal form once his mortal form died. Since he had nowhere to go he hid in the same area where his powers were sealed. River was the first person in years to discover the secret to getting to the area which Beal inhabited. And it was Beal who gave River his powers in the first place.

"Hello grandfather." River said cautiously.

"River, you are early. I expected you sometime next week. Is something bothering you young man?"

"Beal, they found out. Galvez is being investigated and he may face trail soon." River said to the other otter.

The otter stood up and went over to River. "I am sure Galvez will have nothing to worry about and you knowing about this means you have made contact with Alphaten and his guardians?"

River nodded. "I also am becoming a balanced. A royal guard let us have powers of light as well as our dark powers. I know you felt like it was a bad idea to seek them out but it just happened." River said sheepishly.

"I am proud of you River. You have become what I wanted to be. One how could promote peace between light and dark. Being a dark immortal was never my calling but becoming a light immortal is not in the cards. I wish I could be like you and become a balance but such is the curse of one born in the darkness." Beal said as he petted River on the head.

"Grandpa, One of your brothers was born a mortal. Kyle found him today. He wants to take over this realm in the name of your father."

The dark otter paused as he reached down to Pet River again. "Well you have some stories to tell. Update me on what has been going on."

River told Beal about all the things he learned in the past few days. He told him about Rin and Alex and a few his conquests at the party. The two had a nice long talk that last an hour or so. Before River had to leave or he would be missed by his family.

"Well grandpa. I am going back now." River said as he gave his grandfather a hug.

"Do me a favor. Send a message to Galvez. I know he put the seal in place to keep me safe but I would love to see him again. He is a good friend and one I hope to see again." Beal said

"No problem grandpa I will take a message to him." River said as he bid his very great grandfather goodbye for now.

River teleported back to his room to find no one had missed him even though he had disappeared for an hour they must have assumed he had company. River sighed and then went over to his computer his mood vastly improved and he had a mission now. He wanted to free his grandpa from the prison he was in and that meant Galvez would have to free him somehow.

Back at Alex's house, Alex and Chivez were quite drunk as Alfred had given them some really spiked drinks. The good news is they were talking and laughing like two drunken idiots as Alfred looked on proud of his work.

"And... Then he tuned me zaround and pat me back ontop th'e slide and fell in. It was so funny." Alex said finishing one of his stories. The two had spent the good part of the past two hours getting to know each other better. However their fun was interrupted by venom who had returned from babysitting Gammaton. He walked into the kitchen totally naked which was not much different from how he normally was but this time his fur was soaked wet and he reeked of cum.

Gammaton stared at the tow drunken teens and just ignored them. He quickly retrieved a baby bottle of apple juice from the fridge. And went back to his room as quickly as he came. The two barely coherent teens wanted to ask what that was for but just started laughing together.

Alfred looked happy as he always said alcohol broke down barriers that people let themselves put up. It was one of his tricks to get people to open up. He had others but he found this one would be quite the deal breaker. This is was the best option he had even though Dan would not approve but hey he had custody of all the boys while their fathers were away.

He realized it was time to put them to bed when Alex fell out his chair and Chivez soon followed. Luckily Shadow and crimson had just entered the kitchen returning from their shift at the base. They saw the two boys rolling around on the floor laughing and instantly knew what their father had done.

"Could you boys take them to Alex's room? His bed should be big enough for the three of them. They will be out of it soon and Make sure you avoid Gammaton's room at all costs" their father said. Crimson and Shadow both nodded. Shadow took Chivez and crimson took Alex and started to carry the boys to their respective rooms. Alfred laughed as he started to clean up kitchen.

Alex and Chivez had already lost it and were succumbing to the effects of the alcohol in their blood. If they remembered anything tomorrow then they would have broken the ice. Alex and Chivez were barely aware enough to notice the strange site coming from the room Gammaton was staying in. The floor was wet and sticky and the door was actually open. When the four passed the room they say Monroe and Jacob both passed out covered in cum. Atlantic, Aquas and Venom were also completely covered. The entire room was covered in it and it would appear what ever happened was over as Gammaton was half asleep in Venom arms drinking the bottle of apple juice.

Shadow and crimson waved to the three royal guards and then continued on their way to Alex's room. Once there they stripped the boys of their clothes and then tucked them into the bed where Rin was still sleeping. Alex while already asleep rolled over and hugged Rin. The sleeping Rin somehow smiled and probably knew who it was.

Crimson and Shadow smiled those two really must have had the host for each other and hopefully they could really explore their relationship further real soon.

But Alex's father could not be as peaceful as Alex was. He was just sitting in his jail cell waiting. Being immortal meant he gained quite the bit of patience over his lifetime but alas he really was bored and just wanted the trail to come.

However he was aroused by the door to his cell opening and someone else being lead into the small jail cell.

"Dan you have some company. Both you will be here for some time make yourself comfortable." A voice said as Galvez was thrown into the cell. Dan did not even bother trying to figure out who that was because he knew who it was and if they were out that meant Galvez was in some real trouble as well.

Galvez looked at Dan for a moment before retreating into a corner opposite of Dan. And it so the two of them stayed until Dan worked up the courage to really get at the reason for Galvez's imprisonment.

"Galvez, what did you do to get put in here? Must be serious if they put you in a cell with me." Dan asked his otter cellmate.

Galvez looked at Dan and then smiled a bit. "You will probably get out of here before me, if I get out at all that is."

Dan was surprised. He was in a world of trouble and if Galvez was in more he must have done something quite horrendous. "What the hell did you do? I broke Alphaten's rules about offspring and he takes that stuff seriously. What could you have done that was worse than that?"

Galvez gave a hum before he answered. "I fell in love with a dark prince. That was what I did."

Dan instantly rose up and came to full alert. "You what! You mean the missing prince? The one that disappeared centuries ago? You were in love with him? Oh you have to tell me everything."

Galvez gave a small chuckle. "Well it started when the boss sent me on a delivery to deliver some important notices to his father. On the way back something happened and I got pulled into one of the balanced realms. The dark prince was hiding there. I did not know it but he caught my eye. He was so cute and dreamy. I started flirting with him and then we ended up in bed together and it went on from there. I started to frequent that area and meet him there and it was the start of something special."

Dan made himself comfortable as it appeared Galvez had a lot to tell. "After a while he told me about his plan to become a mortal and throw away the hardships that came with being involved in the war. He wanted out but knew the dark immortals and the light immortals would have none of that. And I knew it to be true. I refused to tell anyone about him and I started to look into ways to help him. I found out about one of the ways Alphaten sealed his powers away and realized if I could do it a step further then I could rid him of his immortality and make him a full mortal. I did a lot of preparation and finally did it."

Galvez paused for a moment and looked up. "I wanted to join him but I could not. He knew my job was to protect the mortal realm and I was too important to throw everything away. He understood and took some of my powers with his. I had no idea he used them to create the offspring that he had. I wished he had told me he did that before he died but then again after he became a mortal we barely saw each other after all because of his new found mortality his father was very anxious to find him and we were constantly fighting back the generals. And then he died. And that was the end of it or so I hoped. But today I heard Aquas talking about some otter with both dark and light and how he suspected one of the warriors had a secret offspring. Once I heard that I instantly knew what had happened. The poor kid was being drilled by Aquas when I got there. I guess it is my fault for not checking things out. I feel like I really screwed the pouch on this one."

Dan looked at Galvez sympathetically. He knew that this was probably hard on him since Galvez always had this caring nature about him especially to the things he loved.

"That was a fine story Galvez." Said the voice of the boss. The two cell mates jumped at bit startled by the fact that the dragon had been listening on their conversation.

"boss!" Both answered while regaining their composure.

"Galvez. There are many things that you should be aware of and that is you can always trust me. I would have never turned him over to my father when he is just like me. Fed up with this pointless war. You should not have gone behind my back." The boss gave Galvez a stern look.

The otter held his head down in defeat. "I am sorry boss I should not have hid my actions from you."

The boss grunted. "Yes you should not have hidden your actions from me. Galvez you have always been able to trust me and I have no idea why you would think for one minute that would change. This is now out of my hands. My father's guards are coming to conduct their investigation and you will likely be put on trial in their realm."

Galvez swallowed the massive lump in throat that developed after hearing he would be tried by Alphaten's father instead of him. That was dangerous. He had only met the king once and that was when he accompanied Alphaten on a visit. The king was trust worthy but if anyone even hinted at helping the dark immortals they would feel his wrath. Things were not looking good for Galvez.

"And you as well Dan will be joining him." Alphaten added.

"What? Why me? I thought I only broke your rules!?" Dan exclaimed.

"Alex's twin brother is a son of the dark prince!" Alphaten said as he stared at Dan.

"What!?" Dan had no words to add. He could not believe what Alphaten just said.

"Alex met the boy and had his power line stolen when he revealed himself to be a dark prince given a mortal birth. He is extremely powerful to boot and his powers were intertwined with Alex's. He was likely implanted into Alex's mother during her impregnation. Your refusal to let Alex be born by a slave is what caused this. Your actions have caused huge problems the likes of which we have yet to see. This entire realm has been put in danger because of your foolishness. Dan you will be lucky to get away with your life." The said sternly then walked away.

Dan just stared at the dragon as he left. He knew his situation was bad but never this bad. He would be lucky to see the light of day again.
