Red the hunter: Unlimited Blade Works part 3
Red slowly looked around with his blue eyes before gazing upon a lone hill. He tried to open his mouth to speak however he couldn't as though something blocked his throat. However upon that hill he gazed upon the swords and a lone figure impaled on top.
With a growing dread he slowly walked forwards closer and closer before stopping in shock. He gazed upon a caninu with slightly grey hair and fur taller and stronger then him however it was those eyes a light blue that made him fall onto his knees in horror before he heard a finger snap.
He gasped shaking silently as he raised his head his body was covered in sweat as he gazed upon his father figure who was only wearing his pants who gave him a look of concern.
Evan watched in shock as his soul mate hugged him quickly shaking silently and whispered "whats wrong? You have had trouble sleeping ever since a few weeks ago so your sister and Elh were concerned and so Elh contacted me first."
Red panted from his fear before he finally settled down and whispered "have you ever got that feeling that whatever happened yesterday wasn't a fluke?"
Evan furrowed his eyebrows before questioning "Pardon? I mean I can understand what you mean with Angrya Mainyus appearance but it shouldn't have been something like this. So why did you bring this up?"
As he nuzzled him softly making Red smile before continuing "it was a dream or rather a nightmare. I saw an older version of myself on a lonely hill of swords impaled with them. Does this mean anything?"
Evans eyes widened before he sighed as he was lightly released.
Evan slowly removed his pants only clad in his boxers and answered "it means I shouldn't have caused a disturbance however it needed to be done."
He sighed before answering "I guess I can tell you about Archers past as an alternate version of Shirou Emiya..."
Reds blue eyes widened in shock before the caninu paid attention as he heard him sigh and rub his forehead. Evan sighed as he removed his right hand knowing that Elh and Chocolat were listening in "Shirou Emiya was a distorted boy, all caused by a fire that his own parental figure caused to attempt to destroy the grail however it wasn't successful. His distortion was strong, very strong making him want to be helpful. His father figure was named Kirigtsu Emiya an infamous magus assassin called the magus killer who wanted to be a super hero."
Red felt uneasy as Evan sighed and continued "he wanted to be one so badly that he didn't realize at the time that he casted everyone away from him by alienation, estrangement, or death. In his philosophy is kill one to save ten. Kill ten to save a hundred, kill hundred to save a thousand etc. This man committed himself to the fourth holygrail war by assassinating other masters that were deemed to dangerous until he won. However due to the grail being twisted he asked his servant to destroy it, Angrya Mainyu however was enraged and cursed him with a curse that could never be cured as his magic circuits slowly began to dissolve. Afterwards the grails destruction inadvertently caused a fire, a fire where Shirou and his family was until they died but he lived."
He laughed sardonically as Red and the others blanched.
Evan continued "Shirou was distorted by the fire and when his father figure died on his death bed he talked to him for one last time of his ideal of being a superhero and that ideal stuck with him. Poor, poor Shirou wanted to help to save everyone at the cost of his own life because he didn't believe he was that important. To make matters worse his father figure didn't exactly teach him right so he had to use his nerves as magic circuits instead!"
Red cringed as Evan cocked his head to gaze at him and replied "do you know what happens if you continue to use your nerves instead of your magic circuits? When you do use your circuits your body gets overloaded with prana sending yourself into shock and drastically cuts down your own prana units. He only had 100 prana units max. His distortion was caused by his unusually strong single origin Sword and element sword..."
Red widened his eyes as he replied "I know that from watching unlimited blade works!"
Evan sighed and continued "it was, than this is where things turn screwy. There are three paths he took one is fate stay night, another is unlimited blade works, the third is heavens feel. However then there is Archer's path. In that one Shirou won the war and continued onwards with his ideal until much later he was betrayed and killed on a lone hill of swords. He made a deal with a deity to become a counter guardian or should I say heroic spirit for the throne of heroes that the holy-grail chooses for more servants for heavens feel..."
Red covered his mouth in shock as Evan heard soft gasps behind him. Red whispered "he became a heroic spirit? Something tells me you don't want to continue this."
Evan smiled brightly which didn't reach his eyes at all and continued "he was destroyed by his ideals, in the three routes I spoke of only unlimited blade works tells that he was more than willing to kill his past self all because he lost his way..."
Red rubbed his head and sighed deeply as he replied "that's just messed up. However I should be grateful for Chocolat and Elh telling you first to check up on me."
Evan sighed before smiling gently as he replied "do you think Elh is beautiful?"
Red fiddled around with his bone and replied "very, her hair reminds of a ravens while her attitude reminds me of motherly person. I can't find a better person for a true female friend at all!"
Outside Chocolat giggled seeing Elh Blush as they peeked at the pair through the small door crack and she replied "if it wasn't so shocking and slightly disturbing I would have teased him about this!"
The albino Feliniku rolled her eyes as she replied "that was a grim and serious discussion... I swear I did not expect what happened yesterday to have such an effect on Red. I mean being subconsciously or unconsciously controlled by ones origin in some mental aspects is quite frightening!"
Chocolat shivered and replied "I know it's just it feels really disturbing to know that grail for heavens feel would actually take somebody to form a heroic spirit. Even so the worst nightmare for me is if Red becomes like that version of Shirou whose end was on a hill of blades."
Elh eyed her and replied "THAT is what I am afraid of, it makes me think of what if you didn't meet him and he chose to become something like a super hero due to his well distortion."
Chocolat winced sharply and replied "Elh please finding Red was my best day of my life. However in some cases I wish for once he didn't have something so devastating to him. Being a hybrid with a killer virus was enough he does not need something so grim on his plate!"
They both turned around and Elh giggled as she replied "did you know Evan let him watch him have sex with his wife to make sure he get his details and different ways to pleasure a person? I would say he was a pervert but he is far from one due to being a horny guy, all day and all night on his day offs to!"
They sniggered before turning to leave the unofficial couple to be in peace.
Red sighed before asking "I like kissing her, I like cuddling, and I do love her. However having sex is a kind of a difficult question to ask."
Evan blushed and answered "I know its best to ask someone in private. My night club friends are very great guys to be around but they do have skeletons in their closets that they feel uncomfortable of. For instance our best dancer who is Lukas best kinecaster named Ryan fox is often called a sub species fox. It makes the poor guy uncomfortable quite a bit."
Red snorted as he grimaced and gently breathed on him.
Evan grimaced and replied "ug dog breath, Red do you brush and floss your teeth?" as he slipped into the beds covers next to him.
Red wrinkled his nose and replied "I have to look my best for clients but yes I do why?"
Evan sighed and replied "your breath smells bad, have you been brushing along the gum line or using floss that can get under the sides of your gums?"
Red frowned as he replied "unfortunately we don't have floss like that but we do have toothpaste. So yes I have been brushing my gum line why?"
Evan eyed him and replied "one moment say ah please!" as he materialized a small flashlight and a dental mirror.
Red opened his mouth and watched him look among his teeth with the flashlight and small mirror. As Evan searched through his mouth he replied "have you experienced soreness of the gums or sensitive teeth?"
Red shook his head a little and watched him continue onwards slowly checking to see if he had any gum recession or Red gum lines. However he did looked concerned seeing purple areas on all his gums and thought "the hell? I've seen him brushing and flossing better than me so how the heck is his teeth worse than mine, Jesus his teeth are longer then they should be even. I think I need to take him to a dentist fast or his teeth will have bone loss and permanent damage!"
Evan eyed his teeth again seeing some tiny white specks on his front teeth and replied "hmm it appears you're have been slightly neglecting your front teeth. The white specks on your teeth aren't natural in fact their form when the teeth are slowly getting sucked out of nutrients. Other than that I don't see any signs of periodontal disease or gingivitis thankfully. However your bad breath is a bit of a concern as you're supposed to brush your teeth for at least two minutes and along your gumline. However your gums are quite sore, if their sore and not bleeding then you my friend need to angle your brush to make sure it gets a bit deeper on your gums."
Red growled in frustration as he replied "what are you doing exactly?"
Evan shrugged his shoulders moving the mirror about and answered "I'm being a minor dentist, tell me does the Shepherd Republic have any dentists?" as he removed the tools from his friends mout.
Red raised an eyebrow and replied "dentistry? I've never exactly heard of dentists I'm not sure if we have them or not why?"
Evan sighed and gritted his teeth as he replied "so you have toothpaste and other things but no dentists? I get that you're a caninu and I'm an anthro I really do but your society is risking a lot of damage when it comes to the teeth. Having cavities is a problem getting to the serious nature of gingivitis and periodontal disease is another. When your gums bleed when you floss it means you need to floss more before your gums get swollen and turn red. I should know I had to get deep cleaning at least twice..."
Red looked a bit concerned and merely replied "I've never had any problem like that. In fact most of teeth have fallen out but grew back quite quickly. However I do have to admit I did have a dark red gumline under one tooth until I lost it due to the fact I hate flossing those far back molars."
Evan sighed shaking his head and replied "that was a 5 milimeter pocket of plaque showing that you had the early stages of periodontal disease. Let me tell you something if your not careful it will spread to the other teeth. I should know it infected my entire mouth yet again. If it was a 7 milimeter pocket then your tooth would have been permanently damaged. Also periodontal disease spreads rapidly so the best advice is to brush along the gums some more or have a sonic care toothbrush."
H sighed before saying "however that doesn't explain why that your gums look so sore. That's it I'm taking you to the dentist if you have been brushing correctly! After this of course"
As he nuzzled Red who merely purred rolling his hips into his own before they removed their boxers to have their usual private fun.
The Common Wealth
Evan escorted Red, Elh and others to his recently purchased swat van before opening the side door. Red bounded in with soft laughter as he placed his head against the window as Chocolat and Elh followed along.
He snickered before saying "buckle up please or I will get a find."
Red raised an eyebrow before taking the seat belt and placed it in the required slot. He merely replied "hmm seat belts would be very useful for my Robo. I mean it I just sit on it and control it however I don't have anything to keep me strapped on if I get knocked off."
Evan rolled his eyes as he started the black swat van and replied "yeah well hopefully there won't be any problems with your teeth. Still after this I am going to take you to a weapon museum where you can see all kinds of medieval swords, axes, bows, hammers, etc if you want to that is. Afterwards its up to you!"
Red looked delighted before replying "well alright but I guess we could go shopping, do you accept rings?"
Evan raised an eyebrow and added "I asked my boss the same thing once when talking about the Shepherd Republic along with hard evidence. So now yes the Common Wealth does now accept rings which are at least 10 credits for at least one."
Red shook his head as he started his hovering swat truck and started to drive to the closest dentist.
Evan smiled fondly as he replied "I have the best dentists and very stern ones to where I come from. However this dentist I haven't been to yet his name is Hong Shu."
Red snorted and he raised an eyebrow before replying "what's so funny? A man's name isn't funny despite how ridiculous it is."
Elh rolled her eyebrows as she looked out the window gazing up at the massive metropolis and reply "this place is massive I mean it's larger than the capital and Airedale combined!"
Evan smiled softly and replied "I know however right now I need to take red to the dentists."
He looked out the window and drove the van downwards past Enforcer headquarters to reach the building close by.
Red watched him park the van in one of the undercover parking lots and replied "so what will this be like?"
Evan simply shrugged his shoulders and answered "it depends on the person however like all good dentists they will check your teeth for tartar and plaque with a small dental mirror and of course a scraping tool. However they will probably get on your case because of the little lack of nutrients on your front teeth for your lack of brushing on your gum line. Even so they will just clean your teeth again unless it gets worse."
Red raised an eyebrow and Evan sighed and replied "look a 5milimeter pocket isn't a good thing despite it getting lost that section of your mouth is probably going to get infected. How long ago was that incident anyway?"
Red bit his bottom lip and answered "eight months ago..."
Evan bashed his face on the steering wheel causing it to honk and he groaned as he replied "Dam it, I can't tell the difference but your and gums are very, very sore. I think that you're going to have the overhaul."
Elh looked a tad uneasy and asked "over haul?"
Evan sighed and answered while rubbing his forehead "laser deep cleaning, varnish, the whole bloody works I mean it periodontics disease spreads like a wild fire should it be found. Due to the lack of dentists I will have to say is his teeth are in some big danger along with his immune system!"
He opened his door and let the out escorting them to an elevator which opened as they entered it before watching it close.
Red swallowed nervously and replied "one tooth just one tooth and my mouth is at risk?"
Evan sighed as he gently a hand on his chin and replied "say ah!"
Red opened his mouth and Evan slowly checked his gums one more time and replied "I forgot to check on your gum inflammation and woo I can see it, I thought they looked fine this morning but I was wrong they look slightly purple. Let me tell you something only due to your flossing and brushing it wouldn't have been so bad but now. I guess I can show you a brushing technique to make sure this doesn't happen again because all your teeth look like you have six millimeter pockets."
Chocolat gazed at her brother in concern as he looked down and replied "I've always taken well care of my teeth, however it's always that one molar I've had trouble with the most."
Evan sighed and replied "Maybe it's time to get you a sonic care tooth brush that vibrates as well as deep cleaning nanites."
Red shook his head and replied "deep cleaning nanites?"
Evan simply replied "it's a dental procedure where they place these specific nanites in the pocket of origin, that particular one however is a seven millimeter pocket and I would have to say that your lucky it's not been permanently damaged. Once they place the nanites you will not need to have a deep cleaning again however everything is expensive..."
Red cringed as he replied "how much money is it going to cost?"
Evan sighed and answered "3 paychecks worth at least a staggering 1,000 credits. However it isn't your fault that they are so hard to reach if not get under with floss."
They reached their destination with a soft ding and he escorted him to the dentistry office.
The receptionist a golden eyed fox raised her head and asked "can I help you?"
Evan gently picked up the clipboard offered and replied "yes my friend Red Savarin here has never been to a dentist before and it really does look like he needs an overhaul badly due to extensive contact of periodontal disease."
She winced and replied "I will contact doctor Hong right away and will you pay for him?"
Evan nodded pulling out his left gauntlet as he picked up the black connector on the desk. He sighed as slipped it into the connection port while watching his balance shrink.
Red waited nervously on one of the chairs close by and the door opened showing another dentist who replied "Are you Red Savarin? The Dentist will see you now!"
Dental corridor
Red looked around the white rooms before being escorted to a room with a large chair and he lied down on it. One of the assistants had him wear a small blue bid and he so he waited until he heard the sounds of footsteps.
Doctor Hong was a dental professional and an orange furred fox who had two tails as he looked at the dental clip board.
He raised his head and entered the small room while hearing the sounds of scrapping and drilling as he gazed upon the patient. He smiled to ease the tension before asking "so your Red so what is the general problem?"
Red sighed he watched the fox place on his dental mask and asked him to wear a pair of dark sunglasses due to the special tool above him. Afterwards he opened his mouth making him scowl and replied "your gums, I would say they are probably some of the worsts I have ever seen do you brush your teeth at all?"
Red winced before answering "I do, brush, floss everything however where I live we don't have dentists as this is my first time seeing one!"
The fox widened his eyes as he slowly picked up a medical tray filled with dental tools and continued "never had a dentist? Never had a dentist!? I would have to say your friend is right to have come to see me. I'm going to check your pocket depth with a deep scraper, how did this even happen?"
Red groaned as he watched him remove a scrapper from the tray and answered "I had a molar in the way far back of mouth that I had a lot of difficulty to reach it with floss so I brushed the area as best as I could. However even then I had trouble brushing, the gums turned Red around it until I lost the tooth, this was eight months ago."
The dentist stared at him in shock and replied "eight months ago?! No wonder he recommended an overhaul cleaning!"
Red swallowed before opening his mouth as the dentist slowly slid the long scrapper under the gums and checked his pockets for the top right molars "six, six, seven, 8, six, 7..."
It was not looking good in fact the dentist was looking at him in concern as he slowly checked all his teeth. At the last tooth done on the lower Right having gone through all the teeth he gritted his teeth and replied "where on earth does a person not have dentistry?! Your teeth are risking permanent damage already."
At last teeth he eyed it seeing a dark red ring around it and replied "looks like I will need to use the deep cleaning nanites to make sure it does not happen again. Normally I would have chastised you about the importance of brushing and flossing but all I have to say is try to make sure this does not happen again do you hear me?"
Red nodded as he swallowed nervously before he watched him ask his assistant something and watched her give him a type of injector device filled with purple fluid.
Hong shook his head and replied "you need to brush among your gumline a bit harder for those molars Red so you won't lose your teeth. I would suggest getting a vibrating toothbrush and a prescription for fluoride toothpaste because this is expensive."
Red opened his mouth and felt the injector slide under his Left molars gums and felt the liquid inject within coating the teeth with the nanites.
Red watched slowly as the dentist's assistant removed a small mirror as he placed in a small black device that was a red dental laser. Slowly and methodically the dentist moved under his gums and used the laser to remove the built up periodontal disease for all his teeth.
After he was done the dentist sighed and shook his head and replied "an interdental brush would work as well for molars, otherwise your best bet is to keep flossing under your gums. As a standard rule no drinking or flossing for 30 minutes as your appointment is done."
Red sighed as he removed the glasses and dental bib before replying "thanks for everything I can't believe my entire mouth had been infected by one molar, one molar I that I brush a lot more along the gum line and floss!"
The fox shook his head and replied "you couldn't have known that your floss didn't exactly reach under the gums, the molars are the hardest of teeth to get to with standard floss but not for floss handles and interdental brushes. This all could have been avoided if you tried a bit harder and I am a tad concerned about the lack of nutrients on your front teeth!"
Red huffed before replying "I know it's just not easy having to work and worry about a lot of things!"
The dentist merely replied "other then that you have some very nice and clean teeth. However before you go, I want you to have this!"
The dentist moved to the side and opened a spare drawer showing him a tall bottle of mouthwash. He then replied "this is a nanite wash it's simply meant for cleaning tartar and plaque in teeth. I recommend this for the very hard to reach molars in fact your friend has some even."
He then also picked up a small bag filled with flossing stick spare heads along with the flossing stick and the fluoride toothpaste. He gave it to his customer who took it and replied "thanks doctor Hong I will make sure to floss and brush my molars as best as I can. One measly tooth..."
Doctor Hong sighed and replied "I know make sure you better your brushing techniques if you want to be safer, other then that there are no cavities!"
As he watched him leave with a slumped shoulders as he flattened his ears.
Evan waited for him to arrive out the doorway and spotted the bag and nanite mouthwash. He winced as he replied "ouch I feel sympathetic for you I really do. You should be glad he didn't go nuts!"
Red sighed as he replied "I know it's still quite disturbing on just how bad my teeth were infected."
Chocolat and Elh both looked at each other and Chocolat asked "do you think we should have dentists?"
Evan eyed her and replied "yes, yes you should. Even with brushing and flossing if you have never been to one your risking quite a lot of damage. As a standard dental treatment I have to visit them once 3 months or sooner if there is a big issue."
He however walked over to Red and gently lifted him in a warm hug and replied "I'm sorry if you feel like this Red..."
Red smiled softly as he returned the hug as he was gently patted on the head before being released.
Red asked him "so what is the brushing technique?"
Evan eyed him and answered "it was a brushing technique made by doctor Bash. Basically you vibrate the brush on the gumline of a tooth for five seconds while making sure to angle it correctly. You know the drill it does work best then most other brushing techniques so far."
Red licked his teeth and replied "my teeth feel pretty clean in fact my gums feel much better than before. Still weapon museum?"
Evan smiled softly and answered "of course!" he chuckled as saw him swish his tail rapidly.
Evan drove them to the large museum and parked in a parking lot next to it while they gazed wide eyed at the large building. He smiled softly as he exited the van and let them out and replied "my daughter likes to come here to look at various swords and a way to calm her down if she gets enraged. Yeah she is a sword nut a bit."
Red grimaced and asked "I guess I can understand why she acts darker then you."
Evan snickered hiding a maniacal smile as he replied "oh I don't know what exactly you mean by that!"
Elh eyed him with a frown and replied "stop it, just stop it I really don't like seeing this side of you. I guess being a cold blooded monster wasn't unfounded after all."
Evan eyed her as his eyes slowly began to turn red as he licked his lips. They felt unsettled as his normal tongue turned black and it was forked as Evan whispered "oh trust me I can get much worse, do you know why I had to hold myself and be disgusted with the things I do its because I am rather horrified that I enjoy it, I enjoy it all. The blood, the screams, the terror I enjoy everything and it sickens me greatly! After all the criminal underworld also has a second name tied to me being the king of malice!"
His eyes turned completely unholy as the insanity within grew and grew alight with twisted hellfire of the abyss as his smile slowly turned into pure malice as his emotional mask gave away letting them stare numbly at seeing pure rage malice and a never ending spiral of pain and a burning justified hatred permanently etched onto his face. It was horrific as he stared at them before snapping his emotional mask back into place. He slowly leaned forwards and spoke softly "it is horrible to see what exactly is beyond my emotional mask. My daughter and family see it along with my friends however I don't have a single facial twitch. Unless it begins to crack, so this is why I try to spend more time with Red to make sure it slowly goes away, I don't want this hate, this anger and pain but my mind refuses to let me go."
Red felt his fur stand on end and replied "what the hell is wrong with you?"
Evan shook his head in amusement and answered "to answer the honest truth I'm starting to crack from so, so much grief that I am repressing while can't fully vent. Basically I'm a filled bottle with cracks that I need to find something to fully release before I do something that threatens everyone around me! I released my worries once however I still have cracks."
He admitted with a choked reply before breaking off into sardonic psychotic laughter making them cringe at the sheer amount of pain it held, as the dark red coloring in his eyes slowly vanished. Chocolat whispered to Red "your boyfriend is disturbing but I can't help but feel grief. He's allowed the darkness in his life to enter his being and yet so close to the breaking point."
Red sighed as he watched his father figure walk slowly onwards gazing sadly as the dark grey aura surrounding him growing in strength as they followed. To know that few people act as his pillars for him to fight his insanity and growing despair is quite sobering.
Within the museum eyed each display case slowly taking his time while resisting the urge to be slack jawed. There were hundreds of weapons and even some of the old basic fire arms were shown making him cock his head.
Evan smiled fondly gazing the various swords and heard Red reply "why do they show the basic fire arms in display cases?"
Evan looked at him and answered "it's due to the fact their extremely rare to find. Nobody manufacturers such things anymore because it's so old, these were the last of the fire arms to be found making them to be insanely expensive and worth millions to collectors."
Red simply shook his head as he replied "I think my head hurts from seeing so many weapons fitting into my reality marble. Hmm what kind of sword is that?"
Evan followed his gaze towards the lone black katana in a display case surrounded by hardlight and security cameras with plasma guns underneath them. He gulped and he replied "that's the original Masamune, this was a katana so sharp and so perfect created by the black smith Masamune himself that it would supposedly cut a person in half without much force. However any don't realize that it's a noble phantasm designed to never dull and to never break, and what I mean by that is that it's easily capable of slicing through buildings with a mere swing."
He slowly escorted them over to it as Red gazed upon the black sheath and spotted the metal of the sword. He winced as it formed within his reality marble hearing it literally sing in joy in contrast to his soul mates muramasa which literally howled in bloodlust.
Chocolat eyed the blade and replied "why so much protection for one blade?"
Evan gazed at her and replied "this is the prized sword because it's the only one known in the entire Common Wealth. There is nothing else like this anywhere. It's so valuable that it could be with trillions of credits and that is why there is a force field of hard light and combat styled security cameras surrounding it."
Elh rolled her eyes and replied "so much all for a sword is quite stupid in some aspects."
Evan rolled his eyes and replied "could be Elh if it wasn't something so special!" he snarked causing them to huff as he smirked at them in amusement. They continued to look around before it was about the time it was going to close so he had to escort them out once again.
For shopping he drove back home so they could shop back in the Shepherd Republic making Red pout and asked "why do we need to shop back home?"
Evan eyed him and answered "we don't have any place that makes ship hulls unless it's for special orders that's why. Although I do have admit that I don't like going to the mall sometimes unless of course my wife wants me to."
Red rolled his eyes and replied "your whipped!"
Evan huffed and answered "look I admit I have problems with my own, some of them relating to the facts of lack of information. Others I just try not to make sure my wife feels like an object I would heavily dislike myself if I did so. She maybe beautiful but she is a fighter in her own right along with various skills I don't have."
He chided when he got out of the van and waited for them to open the side door. Red let both Elh and Chocolat out first as they unbuckled themselves before he followed them. Chocolat giggled and replied "why did you do that Red?"
Red smirked and replied "I felt like it just now."
Elh raised an eyebrow as Evan slowly opened up the front door and replied "Sheana, everyone I'm home!"
She chuckled as he was tackled by the black colored xenomorph and was nearly sent off the deck as he embraced him and replied "Vector down boy down! Oh you, getting all excited and everything. Have you seen Kris?"
Vector turned his head around and spotted her in the library making him roll his eyes. He huffed and replied "figures that she would be working on her chemistry set. As Red smiled as he headed off for his next job the ever present grinding of gears in his souls became louder and stronger as the very fog surrounding them began to dissapate. With his distortion under control and old wounds began to heal Red longed for better days to spend with his friends and soul mate. He gazed upwards into the sky and smiled brightly knowing with time the old wounds shall heal over and lead him into the better days to come.

His emotions are how to say quite complex considering he jumps back from most things very fast or if he gets somehow sent off topic. In some respects I do understand that it's not healthy at all.

What exactly is distortion, distortion means somewhere in a persons mind, feelings, or emotions they are broken. It's a very sad aspect knowing that it has happened before to someone else.
Sticking to fluff should have been an easier thing for me to write about however in some aspects pain can bring a person closer together for everyone else around.
Red admitting his feelings to Elh is another crucial detail I wanted to write along with his inner struggle. Note if anybody has played Solatorobo you would honestly know just how much damage Baoin has done to him.
Baoin turned himself into a monster and because of that aspect Red never had any thing ressembling a mother or father figure except for a big sister. He's suffered and suffered so much that his emotional health has distorted itself nearly beyond repair.
