They say its better to have loved and lost,

Than to have never loved at all

But bad love comes with such great cost

Breaking down will and joy, until you finally fall

To think that our relationship was going so well

We've been together for years, it was hard to tell

We were the perfect match, we were the greatest team

But it turns out things weren't always as they seemed

I wish I could forgive you for the things that you've done

I was too stubborn, thinking you were the one

But now I have the courage to let this thing go

The face of regret so easily shown

That's it, no more, I'm through with your games

I'm heartbroken, I'm not coming back, and you're to blame

Please don't make this harder than it has to be

I'm feeling just as hurt, can't you see?

Things that I gave, people that I lost

Things that I've done, people that I've crossed

It was all for you, all for you

All the places that we've been, all the fun times that we had

I cringe inside, when did it go so bad?

All because of you, because of you

I wish I could forgive you for the things that you've done

I was too stubborn, thinking you were the one

But now I have the courage to let this thing go

The face of regret so easily shown

That's it, no more, I'm through with your games

I'm heartbroken, I'm not coming back, and you're to blame

Please don't make this harder than it has to be

I'm feeling just as hurt, can't you see?

Steamy Afternoon

Sly sat in the calm living room of his house. Alone. Again. He sighed. "Dark must be working overtime again,"  he thought as he slouched into his chair, his arms folded across his chest. This had been going on for the past week or two, not a phone...
